Everything is Created by God
Hello everyone! Today we are going to study the third chapter of the Book of Genesis. I have talked about this chapter a lot of times. Today, I realized that I had missed the goal of this chapter in past bible studies. In the past, we said "the knowledge of good and evil is the root of all problems," but this is actually only a part of this chapter. Today, I want to talk to you about a very important concept called "People who Disobey the Word of God Will Be Cursed," which is also the subject of this chapter. There is a really good passage in the Bible that shows that everything is made by God.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV)
I was surprised that God made a whole bunch of demons and planted a tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the garden. What is this for? This is very interesting.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?" (Genesis 3:1 NIV)
Wouldn't it be a beautiful story if God hadn't made the snake or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? There will be no disobedience to God's word, nor will there be any curses. But that's not what God did. God made other living creatures other than snakes. When I was ministering, I found that there were many other kinds of devil spirits besides snakes. This is a very interesting thing.
These spirits all had the appearance of living creatures, including foxes and weasels... Some people ask me, "Where is the weasel in the Bible?" Some people may not need a snake to tempt them; the devil can just kill them with a little weasel.
God made the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and also made a lot of living creatures that live in the field, and they can talk. God made these things because he wants a victorious people. The Doctrine of Destiny is not preoccupied with statements like, "I'm saved; I'm saved by believing in Jesus and will go to heaven when I die." I feel like a little Huang Pi Zi, or even the little mouse, could trick him. In fact, God wanted victory, and Adam and Eve did not win. However, just because they lost does not imply that we all lost, because the Doctrine of Destiny places a high value on victory.
You'll find that we don't say things like, "Oh, I'm saved," "I was baptized in 2012"; or "I was saved in 2014." We are talking about winning or not winning. In fact, God's original purpose was this, and people who disobey God's word will be cursed.
Today, we are talking about the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; we don't know whether it is an apple or a pear. If God did not create the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, instead he created another tree and said not to eat it. The result will be the same if you eat it. People who disobey God's word will be cursed. If we don't disobey God's word, we will be victorious.
So, the first point is that everything is created by God. You can't say, "God, why did you make this?" because who are you to ask God why he did this? If I ask that, I will feel ignorant. I will go back to the foundation - if we don't disobey God's word and do what he asks us to do, we will win.
Today, the Doctrine of Destiny is very clear that there are two kinds of people in the world: people who are cursed, and people who are blessed. It is your choice if you want to be a blessed person or a cursed person!
I feel that there are many people who are "foolish" and have chosen the curse as if they will be sorry if they do not choose the curse.
Some people are cursed and get cancer. Then, they do chemotherapy, electrotherapy, an artificial anal fistula, or something else, but the result is that they refuse to change, or have only changed a little bit, but still have evil things inside of them. These people will say that I need Pastor L's understanding. I will say that I can understand. However, what I understand is that "people who disobey the word of God".
We should walk according to the word of God. So, the second point is, "People who Disobey the Word of God." The Doctrine of Destiny is a theology of victory. It is important that you follow the word of God.
People who Disobey the Word of God Will be Cursed
If you disobey the word of God, you will be cursed, just like God tested Adam and Eve. They ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so the curse came to them. Today we can see that God has made many other living creatures like snakes, such as Huang Pi Zi, snakes, little foxes, all kinds of earthworms, hell worms, little crabs, and more. There are two basic things in the Doctrine of Destiny: obeying the word of God will be blessed, and disobeying the word of God will be cursed. In fact, God's requirements for man are also very simple: love God and love your neighbour as yourself.
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matt. 22:36-40)
If you go back carefully to the Bible, you will find that it is easy for a man to find many excuses for himself and to sin against the word of God without repenting. How many more sins do people have to suffer before they learn to repent? Therefore, brothers and sisters must remember that the curse comes from God. God really doesn't care much about how many people die, but God does care about one thing, that is whether God's people enter the kingdom of God. Entering the kingdom of God and becoming God's people depend on whether or not you have followed the greatest commandment, which is to love God and to love your neighbour as yourself.
When we read the book of Samuel, we find that people like Saul were very concerned about offering, but offers can not be compared to listening and obeying the word of God. Even though Saul was the king of Israel, God's chosen one, God later sent a demon to disturb Saul, and it would be a tragedy to be God's people to this extent.
One time, I told a man that all curses come from God, but he thinks are not. When I heard this answer, I wanted to send him back to elementary school to study. I don't know how he read the Bible. The Bible says very clearly that people who disobey the word of God will be cursed.
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 28:1-2 )
However, if you do not obey the Lordyour God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you. (Deuteronomy 28:15 )
But nowadays, there are a lot of Christians who are disobeying the word of God because many of the things that the church preaches and promotes cannot be found in the Bible. It is man replacing the word of God with his own that will be cursed.
The Doctrine of Destiny is very sure of one thing: people who disobey the word of God will be cursed. If you come to us and listen to my sermon for a long time and then go out and listen to what others say, you will find that you can't listen anymore because you will easily find that many other churches preach sermons that are not based on the Bible. However, my sermons are definitely based on the Bible.
Some churches are very afraid of Eastern Lightning and Jehovah's Witnesses coming into their churches because these people read the Bible better than their own church people. If these people come into our churches, I am confident that they will not be able to read the Bible as well as I do because I know the Bible very well. The Doctrine of Destiny values the word of God very much because we know that people who disobey the word of God will be cursed.
I know that many of the ideas I expressed will certainly conflict with our own inherited ideas, but that does not mean that what I said is not the word of God. If there is anything I say that is not in line with the Bible, you can come to me and tell me, and I will correct it because anyone who disobeys the word of God will be cursed.
If you find out that a so-and-so pastor seems to love God but has cancer, you can go to YouTube to listen to his sermon, and you will find that a lot of it is not the word of God. Whether it's the book of Matthew, Genesis, or Revelation, if you add or take anything out of the gospel, you will be cursed. There are many who have believed and preached the wrong gospel, and they will be cursed. That is what Paul said. That is why I want to correct you about the wrong gospel.
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! (Galatians 1:6-8 )
The Essence of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
The essence of knowledge of good and evil will be reflected in disobeying God's word. When I dug deep into the essence of the knowledge of good and evil, I found something very interesting. I want to tell our brothers and sisters that you are not even qualified to identify good and evil.
"You will not certainly die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. (Genesis 3:4-5)
This statement is not a lie, this verse is true. I didn't get this verse in the past.
And the Lord God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." (Genesis 3:22)
After they ate it, their eyes brightened. God said that they could now know good and evil. This demon did not tell a lie, it told the truth. But disobeying the word of God will still be cursed. You are not even qualified to identify good and evil because what you say is not even the truth.
Later, I found out what it is to have knowledge of good and evil. It was like Joseph, who was sold to Egypt, and in this kind of situation, Joseph did not identify good and evil. Later, I found out that many people that I ministered are identified good and evil with me. He came to me and said, "I have to imitate Joseph." I said, "Are you qualified to imitate Joseph?" Joseph was sold to Egypt. What do you imitate? You have not been sold to Egypt, and I want to train you, and you identify good and evil with me.
Just as the devil said, "When you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." This is true, but it is still against the word of God.
On Wednesday, I took you through the book of 1 Samuel, and I found out an amazing thing. When we read Jezebel, I found out that Jezebel was a great, very wise, and accommodating woman who ruled her house very well. She was a wise woman in Ahab's eyes, which is a very different imaginary image than before.
If you want to be like Jezebel, you have to be very smart. If you want to identify good and evil, you have to have a good head. Even though that is true and not a lie, there is a saying that if one disobeys the word of God, he will be cursed. Then I found out that there is a reason for all of this. The essence of identifying good and evil is that even if it is true, disobeying the word of God will still be cursed.
Today we need to know that there is a reason for all of this. The snake tempted Eve, and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve tempted Adam, and Adam ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. If you want to find reasons, this is called identifying good and evil. Once it is a fact and there is a reason, then it is eligible to identify good and evil.
Even if these are the facts—the fruit looks good and tastes good; people will become wise, their eyes will be open, and they will be like God, knowing good and evil once they eat it—against the word of God, they will still be cursed. We have to know what it is identifying good and evil. Your thing is not identifying good and evil; your thing is just being stupid.
Response to the Curse
If you are not qualified to identify good and evil but are still disobeying God's word and are cursed, then your reaction to the curse will be the same as Adam and Eve's reaction after eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Fear was the first reaction to the curse. If you are afraid of cockroaches, have a cockroach phobia, or have an unpleasant reaction when you see one, you are cursed.
If a person has a sense of shame, or if a woman has a reproductive disorder, like menstrual pain, that is a curse. As a man, it is also a curse to work hard. After the curse, the earth does not like to produce anything, and all the works are hard to do, which is a curse. There are also people who don't have a sense of taste; this is also a curse.
We must begin to have some understanding of the reaction to a curse. Those reactions are not necessarily due to the knowledge of good and evil but are due to disobeying the word of God. When a person is cursed, no matter what the reason, they will definitely have a feeling of fear or shame inside; they will see bad things; they will work very hard; women will have problems with their reproductive systems.
So the Lord God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. (Genesis 3:14)
The word "eat dirt" here means to eat without taste.
"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." To the woman he said, "I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (Genesis 3:15-16 )
Once a man is cursed, he will not be free and will feel bad.
To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:17 -19)
How does being cursed work? If you do something and that thing goes bad, then that is a curse. Later in my research, I found that if a demon is involved in the thing you do, it will go bad, and it is a curse. Someone brought a Christian friend to my office, and I saw him followed by 20 to 30 demons. The one right behind him was bigger, and it was arranged in order from big to small, like a long tail. The last one was small, like a mouse. I blinked my eyes and took a closer look; it was a vision.
Someone was surprised that I could see it. I asked the person who brought him here if that person was often unlucky in what he did. The person who brought him back replied yes and asked me how I knew it. I said I had a sense that it was the unlucky ghosts who followed him. Later, I found that many people do things out of luck because the ghost is with them. If the ghost is always with him, it is a lifetime tragedy, and the reason why the ghost is with him is that he is cursed. The ghost made the man work very hard.
The Doctrine of Destiny is about overcoming these things. Whether your experience is true or not, the important thing is not to disobey the word of God. No matter what it is, if God says you can't do it, you can't do it. The logic of the Doctrine of Destiny is very simple: we must not do what God tells us not to do, and we must do what God says we must do. If you come to Doctrine of Destiny and listen carefully to my advice, it is very difficult not to be blessed by God if you follow the word of God.
No matter what we do, we cannot disobey the word of God, and we must do what God says. But nowadays, the church is very strange. I told a Christian that the Doctrine of Destiny is to pursue theology like Jesus, and he said it was impossible because they don't believe they will be like Jesus. If you listen carefully to what God says and do what he asks us to do, you will be blessed, and if you do not listen carefully to what God says and do what he asks us to do, you will be cursed. After people get cursed, you will have a cursed reaction.
As a result, the doctrine of destiny encourages brothers and sisters to obey God's word regardless of reason. Then I found out that the response to a blessing is that God will be with you. In everything you do, God will be with you. It is true that Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt. It is also true that he got sent to prison, but Joseph was such a great man that he did not identify good and evil.
The important thing was that he thought it did not matter if he was in jail or a slave, but he could not disobey the word of God and do what God saw as evil. He wants to be with God, and as a result, God is with him. He was the best slave he could be, and he was the best prisoner he could be. In fact, circumstances don't matter, what matters is whether you have God's presence or not. Many times, it is obvious that you are not qualified to disobey God's word, but you do so anyway; if you are qualified, how much will you disobey? We will talk more about the "response to the curse" later in the sermon.
Curse and Death
The curse is very powerful, but here's the problem: Eve didn't die right after she ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. She probably even told Adam, "Look, I didn't die after I ate it, and it's good, so you can eat it too." Later in the Bible, Adam lived more than nine hundred years, a long life.
The problem is that after Eve ate it, she thought it was delicious and did not die, so she gave it to Adam to eat. Just like we usually disobey the word of God, we think it's okay to sin. Yesterday, he had just disobeyed God, and today, he is fine; nothing happened. But in fact, after eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, death entered into man. It takes time for death to manifest itself. When you plant something and it takes time to grow. It was a seed of death when you planted it, and by the time you die, you have no chance to turn back.
The seeds that were planted in the past years, and today bear fruit. All that comes out are cancer and pain. We must have the knowledge of the word of God in us.
Curses and death are like planting a seed, and when it bears fruit, you don't have a chance to turn back. Maybe if you repent, God might give you a chance, but if people are stiff-necked and you ask me to understand you, will that solve the problem? I understand you; others understand you; but God does not understand you. Those who disobey God's word will be cursed, and the curse will lead to death! Although there is still a period of time before death, it is a period of time for you to repent. If you do not repent during this period of time and continue to run into death, then it is a problem. Once man runs into death, he will lose the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life.
Man is running forward on the road to death. It is the spirit that keeps man alive! What is left to live if the spirit dies? This is why the Christian faith is based on the foundation of the word of God, and the Doctrine of Destiny places value on the word of God because disobedience to God's word will be cursed; disobedience to God's word will bring the fruit of death.
You have to know what it means to live if you want to live. It's useless for me or everyone else to understand you, and as long as God doesn't understand you, everything is finished. If you understand what I am saying, you might still have a chance to repent. Starting today, stop walking on the path of disobeying the words of God and stop walking on the path of caprice.
So the snake says to the woman, "You will not certainly die." That's a lie. You will definitely die, but the rest is true. It is half true and half lie. If you disobey the word of God, you will surely be cursed. Jesus Christ took our curses and carried our sorrows because, in the past, we did not know God. Now that we know Jesus Christ, if we still deliberately disobey God's word, no one will bear it for us. Everyone needs to remember these words deeply today: "Disobeying the word of God will be cursed!"
God has a lot to say to us today, so receive it little by little. In fact, God doesn't care about Adam's death, because you are dust and will return to dust.
By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19)
One group of people after another run to death; God doesn't care. It was just dust.
What does God care about? God cares about a group of people who are victorious, who keep his word, and who love God with their hearts. God will bring those who love him to the Promised Land. If you don't know God and you think you're important, God doesn't think you're important. So today, let's start to obey the word of God.
May the Lord bless you all!
