We are going to study Genesis Chapter 9 today. I found studying Genesis is very encouraging.

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. Genesis 9:1

As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it. Genesis 9:7

I like what God is saying here. God said we need to be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.

When I chat with other people, everyone wants to be fruitful and increase in number, especially, everyone who wants to see their wealth grow. Can you imagine how good it feels if your bank account balance or investment is growing every day? I am pretty sure you will feel good, and many people are dreaming about that every day. However, how to make it possible? It's all based on one key concept, Curse or Blessing. Depending on which path you are on, you will finish with a different ending. The Blessing will bring us to live fully in prosperity, and the curse will bring us to the opposite way.

Now, do you prefer to be at the top or the bottom group? Someone will challenge me if this is prosperity gospel. Honestly, from the bottom of your heart, do you prefer prosperity, or you enjoy poverty? Unless you have a mental issue, I think everyone will like prosperity, no one wants to live in poverty. So, I don't understand why people ask such a question and label this as "prosperity gospel".

Although everyone wants to be in the top group, it's not about if you want it or not. Everyone wants to be prospered, but only people who fear God, obey God, obey the Word of God, and walk in the path of Blessing. These prerequisites have been written in the bible; I don't understand why people don't know them. In this chapter, God mentioned not once, but two times, be fruitful and increase in number.

Deuteronomy 28 is one of my favorite chapters, it is a wonderful promise from God, and do you call it "prosperity gospel"? Let’s read, Deuteronomy 28:1-14:-

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He promised you on oath if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to Him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock, and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or the left, following other gods and serving them." (Deuteronomy 28:1-14)

I don't know how to define "prosperity gospel" or "the gospel of success", but I don't think prosperity or success are bad things. I also don't know why and have difficulty understanding people who want to live in poverty, failure, or suffering. I preach according to the teaching from the bible, from Genesis chapter one to chapter nine, you can see that God desires is to bless us, to be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.

Now, the two paths are in front of us, Path of Blessing and Path of Curse, it is your choice. Left or Right, Blessing or Curse, good luck on making a good decision.

Some of you joined our church, Doctrine of Destiny, for a while, you might experience some interesting things through us. If you are a businessman, you probably will research some good opportunities before making the decision. After the decision is made, either whether it is an online business, entertainment, high tech business, or manufacturing, there is no guarantee of profit.

Being fruitful and yielding results is very critical to all of us. In some cases, you planted, but you are not getting any fruit, or you sowed, but it never harvests. Not being fruitful is not desirable, no one wants their life to be full of poverty, or put a lot of effort but get no results. The main problem is not if you planted or not, or if you want or not, but how. I usually classify things into; what to do, how to do, when to do, and do to what extent you do it, this will help me to build a project plan.

In most cases, what to do is not the main cause of the failure, for example, you might want to build an online shopping site like Alibaba, to do “Tencent”, or Amazon, or build a SpaceX program. The main problem is, you don't have resources, technology or the know-how. The Know-how plays a critical role here. We all want to be fruitful and increase in number, but how, the problem is how.

Anyone can tell me how to be fruitful and increase in number? If you have the answer, then, you have the clue to increase profitability. It's not a secret, the solution is the root of Blessing, which means fear of God, obeying God, obeying the Word of God, and walking in the path of Blessing. When we say the Word of God, we are talking about the spiritual word. The spiritual word explains spiritual things and principles which govern the physical realities on Earth..

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 1 Corinthians 2:13

Spiritual principle governs everything on the earth. I learned and knew that because I practiced. If you do not know the spiritual world, spiritual principle, or spiritual law, who governs life and everything in this world, then, you are blinded, all you can do is wonder why suffer, and experience a lot of sorrow.

In Genesis 9:1, God blessed Noah and his sons, so Blessing is very spiritual, we cannot explain what is blessing, but everyone agrees that blessing is good. If you observe the people in your circle of life, you will find someone who is not very smart or well-educated, but they have a better life. On the other hand, you will also find someone who worked very hard, full of energy, well-educated and skillful, but, everything they do becomes a failure or does not yield results. Don't you find this interesting?

I started studying the spirit world when I was young; I found fortune teller is very interesting and powerful, they can tell a person's past and well predict a person's life. One day a scientist came to visit me. I am not sure why my spiritual eyes were opened at the same time; I saw many turtles hanging on his body, they hold tight to his arm, chest, and legs. I asked God, and God reveal to me that these are spirits. After I welcome this scientist, I switched topics right away. I cannot tell him what I see, but I asked him if his muscles are very tight and sore. He was so surprised about how I can read his body, then, he started telling me his challenges and difficulties. Even walking a very short distance, taking MRT trains or subway, walking to the bus stop, even climbing a few stairs makes him tired. Then I asked him if he feels pain at a few specific muscles, he confirmed and was surprised how I knew that. I told him that I have six senses, but did not tell him I have the spiritual knowledge. Afterward, I asked if he wants to get healed because I have a solution. However, he said he doesn't want to try. I am also shocked and don't understand why people refuse to resolve problems. I have a solution because I practiced and helped many people before, it is all about the spirit.

Many things are happening in the spirit world. Some people might feel their body is very heavy, or something is holding on to their head, that's all caused by demons, casting out the demons will resolve the issues.

A few years ago, I attended an overseas church event and was sharing a house with two other pastors' families. One family was from Germany, both the pastor and his wife are the leaders in a local church. I don't enjoy this type of conference or studying in a large group, I prefer to do my learning. So, I was only attending some of the seminars that interested me and spent the rest of the time in the house to catch up on operational tasks or pray with my church members.

In an afternoon, while I was working on these personal tasks, the couple from Germany dropped from the workshop and returned. They look so weak and said they cannot sleep or eat since the conference started, and now feel very sick. Then I asked, why those main speakers, those popular and famous pastors, did not ask or help them resolve the issues? Unfortunately, nobody care, they don't even bother asking. I offer to help and pray with them. While praying, I learned the wife has depression, that's why her body is so weak.

The lady had a history of depression, her body was weak as a result. Do you know what happened when I started praying? As soon as I started praying, casting out demons, it felt like she was rejuvenated and full of life! It only took me approximately 15 minutes! My coworkers can be my witness on this account. A lot of people may wonder why a pastor would be attacked by demons: This is a myth. Don't ever believe that! Demons will attack anyone no matter who you are.

The next day, she brought her husband, who had back problems for 20 years, to me so I could do the same to help him. I presumed he had a slight issue with his pride. Although we were both pastors, my church was nothing compared to his, why did I have such blessings to cast out demons?

When I started praying, God opened my spiritual eyes. I saw a big animal in reptile form, which looked like a lizard or crocodile, clamped front claws into his shoulders, back into the thighs, head to head, tail to tail. I started talking to the animal and told him, I knew who he was, he must leave this pastor's body. After casting out the demons, he burst out of joy and jumped up and down, hailing that he had never felt so full of energy in the past 20years. Of course, he would not! You could not imagine what it felt like when carry a 20kg lizard around for so long, It's not an easy job. It was amazing that I could do this.

All I am trying to say is: In a spiritual world, our life on earth is related to the spiritual word. Whether you increase in numbers, yield any fruits, or not, it's not determined by how hard you have worked, but by the spiritual word.

What happens in the spiritual world determines many things. Therefore, understanding the concept of blessing and curse is pivotal. I will explain what blessing and curse entail.

Blessing is protection from our Almighty God in whatever you do and the devil cannot interfere.

Curse, on the other hand, is God sending the devil to destroy anything your hand has touched. Hence, blessing and curse both come from the Almighty God. Fear of God, Fear of God is extremely crucial! That's the reason why obeying the word of God is the key!

In my doctrine according to the BibleI have been talking a lot about being fruitful, increasing in numbers, being prosperous, being successful in whatever you do. Many people disagree,but I firmly believe that!

I feel grateful to our Lord that He has such a wonderful plan in my life. For that reason, anything I do yields results, being fruitful and increasing in numbers, regardless of how important or trivial the job is. If it does not bear any fruit, then I know something must have gone wrong.

If whatever you do, goes to wane, delivering no result, you know you have been walking along the path of a curse. You have no blessing, you will need to start learning spiritual knowledge and how it works.

I find some people very oblivious. When I train them to learn to program, they invest the time and energy wholeheartedly into it, but they forget about the spiritual thing. To me, however, I will catch the spiritual thing first, gaining a solid ground with my due diligence. Since I know if I want to be fruitful, yield results, and multiply on the earth, I need to follow the path of blessing. That's why obeying the words of God is very critical.

Blessing follows those who are blessed. That's why God has such a desire and wonderful plan in us. God does not want to get indignant and flood the earth killing everyone once more. God reminds himself that He has a plan for us to be fruitful and increase in numbers, He wants us to be prosperous. That's why He signed a covenant with all life on the earth. He uses a rainbow as a sign after the rain to remind Himself of it.

Can't you see that God does not want to curse us? He wants to bless us! However, whether we walk on the path of blessing, it's up to our choice. Whether the choice is good or not, we will bear the consequences from Him, which is why sometimes I say "that's your choice"

God has a sign in the sky to show us His utter determination to bless us. That's why I wonder why so many people don't choose this wonderful path of blessing.

The above has summarize the main objective of Chapter 9. It has enlightened us on how determined God was to take us out of cures, entering a prosperous life.

If you think God is selfish, only wants to kill everything on earth, instead of leading us to the promised land, I'm afraid this is not true!

We praise the Lord, who is so resolute to bless us! I have decided to walk along the path of blessing, surrender myself to the Lord, put down everything to follow God, obey his word. I am willing to pay every price to walk into the desire of Almighty God.

By doing so, you'd better study the word of God thoroughly! As you will find one element plays a major part in His word. That is protecting your eyes! What you see is what you get as in the IT says

Generally speaking, people are blinkered, see things in black and white, not aware of the spiritual impact. Therefore, they get what they see.

In the early age of technology, no graphic interface was available, unlike what we see nowadays where we can interact with modern technology. We can use headphones to play audio, fingers to swipe screens, and many other functionalities.

In those days, poor technology meant we had to use the command line based upon the theory of "what you see is what you get". The reason why people developed such a theory was that you had to type out the syntax which you could not see. The syntax then became a script that underwent layout format. This is opposed to what so-called "what you see is what you get" theory.

However, as a minister, I found many people have a bad habit of seeing negative things. For example, a lady could easily get irritated by something as trivial as her husband just shutting the door behind him. Moreover, others could feel their husband lost hope in them as they believed they could see something through their other half's eyes. These show how blinkered people are.

Nevertheless, I always see positive things, so I always have positive experiences. We will take a little time to ponder over what we see. One important thing to bear in mind is what you see has a direct effect on the quality of your life.

When Noah was in his old age, he had a great deal of spirit intake. As a result, he took away all his clothes and stayed naked. You may be trying to get your head around the situation, as he did not behave very well after all. How could we associate his behavior with him being a favor in God's eyes?

Here is where spiritual principles came into play. This is not something you can understand in a secular mindset. Universally, our vision is one-dimensional in whichever we see, we don't get to see the governing body behind them.

The principle is simple! If you always see good things, you will be blessed; otherwise you will have a miserable life .

I happened to know a lady who lived in misery for 20 years as a consequence of her own decision.

She got married at a young age, they had their first child, life went as planned.

However, during her second pregnancy, her husband had an affair behind her back. She was so devastated and took both children with her to live in a foreign country.

20 years later, whilst we were in the same class, she gradually learned what I do. She eventually asked if I could pray for her over chronic headache and back pain. I happily accepted her request! Praying for people with spinal-related problems is my forté.

As usual, I laid my hand on her, the Lord immediately notified me that she no longer needed praying. The root cause of her illness was her relationship with her brother and her husband.

As a result, I stopped and asked her to share her life experience with me. Unexpectedly, the magnitude of emotion erupted like a volcano spewing out hatred.

I had to tell her that what she saw and how she responded to the relationships had a detrimental impact on her life for 20 years, directly causing health problems.

Her argument was because I was not in her shoes, I would never be able to empathize with her pain, which Ido not comprehend.

But never forget that we all need to heed the Law of Spiritual Principles. The outcome of how you receive negative aspects of life determines the quality of your life. That explained why she suffered tremendously in the last 20 years.

Among the audience over the internet, when you hear my message, you may wonder, shall I change so much? Yes! How come I am so stupid? After my husband went away with another woman, I punished myself doubly. How silly I am!

Come back to Noah, Bible didn't tell any details about what things he did and that is not its intention. But Bible told us clearly that Ham, his son went into the tent and saw his father naked then ran out and broadcast the news to his two brothers. Let's use our imaginations here. Ham saw the drunkenness of his father and thought how terrible my father was! An old man behaved like this. In Ham's head, a video started to play all the awful pictures of Noah. While the video was still on, Ham began to judge his father. This is no good! How come I had this kind of father??? Are you still with me? How many of us have bad relationships with our fathers or parents? I am sure you have a lot of blaming on your parents. And the moment you make a judgment, curses come upon you. This is the spiritual principle! If you understand this, you won't do it anymore. If you don't understand it or ignore it, that's too bad. Lacking the knowledge of the spirit world is the reason people get lots of curses.

I have seen many cases. One lady didn't like her mother who was lacking some good characters. She hated to see her mother misbehaving. But the more she saw them, the angrier she became. As the days passed by, the behaves of that lady gradually became more and more like her mother, eventually, she surpassed her mother! She didn't like her mother's way, but how come she became the one she hated? Because there is the spiritual principle; the devil in her mother jumped on her. Then she got worse than her mother and suffered a lot.

Can you see the spiritual principle behind it? If yes, then take my advice, see everything good! Are you with me? See everything good!

I am grateful to my Lord. Graceful for what? For I, myself have never been shepherded properly by anyone. Then how can you say this is a good thing? Because it made me so determined to become a good shepherd in the eyes of God. That's why I have worked extremely hard for I wanted to be one. So a bad thing turned up to be a good thing.

In the workplace, when I see people make some mistakes, I don't judge them, but give thanks to my Lord by giving me opportunities to learn through their mistakes.

Are you still with me? Can you see I am using so many examples to explain those concepts? Your eyes determine your life! Again, YOUR EYES determine YOUR LIFE. This explains in Genesis chapter 1, God said, "everything is good". "good, good, good…". God shows us it is good, so good. But are they really good? Everything is a mess. In fact, on contrary, what you see in your future, God has a wonderful plan for you. Although the situations surrounding you are not so desirable, there is one good thing! Isn't that wonderful? God is carrying out wonderful training for you and me. Many things are happening which is far beyond our control, and beyond our decisions! You think you can choose your boss, maybe not. You may have a good boss, but you can't have him forever.

The reality is we can't control many factors in our lives, only one thing we can, that is our eyes! We can control what we see and choose how to see. So what do we see? We see the great plans of God in our lives. God's desires for us are to multiply on earth, fruitful and excellent achievements.

That was where Ham had been cursed. Bible said the curses were not on Ham but Canaan. That is something very interesting. Before Canaan was born, Noah and his family including Ham and two other brothers, totally eight people went into Ark. After that Ham had this child, Canaan. Through my observations, I would doubt whether having a child is always a blessing. I am trying to observe

that assumption. Maybe I am wrong, but Bible said Canaan was cursed. How come? I don't know the answer but I can tell you my observations.

Through years of my studying, I have noticed some families, when they had the first child, a good life followed and second, still good, but then, when the third child came, suddenly they went into poverty, somehow, many bad things happened to the families.

Here, the question is why the arrival of this child, all kinds of troubles occurred as well. Let me tell you, the birth of a child will bring blessings or curses into a family, something to do with blessing or curse. What I can do is to tell you my observation and the fact was Canaan was cursed.

Why Bible mentioned Canaan? Because Moses was leading Israelites went into the land of Canaan, where Canaanites lived. Those people were all descendants of Canaan. There is a wonderful passage from verse 26, "Blessed be God, the God of Shem; May Canaan be the slave of Shem. May God extend the tent of Japheth. Japheth live in the tent of Shem, and may Canaan be his slave". Some people may start to worry about if I am a Canaan or not. Whether you are Canaan or not is not important. The understanding of spiritual principles is the most important. Even if it happens to be you are Canaan, you say to yourself, O, my God, my fate will be a slave to Shem. Why is it me? When you read Bible, just be very careful. I tell you where you should be careful. If your mind or way of thinking is very much like Ham and Canaan, you will be cursed. However, even you are Canaan's descendants, as long as you don't have the same mindset as Canaan had, you won't be like Canaan. You may ask me; how do you know? I know from Bible. In the book of Joshua, God commanded Israelites to kill everyone and destroy everything in the city of Jericho, and a prostitute, Rehab was living there. Rehab cried out to God for she didn't belong to that city, so God saved her and her family.

Later on, Rehab even became the grandmother of King David! So it is all in your mind. Your choices bring huge differences to your lives. The family you were born from isn't such a big deal. And you don't have to envy people who have better family backgrounds. Not necessary.

Our eyes and minds determine our lives. If you and I can focus on spiritual guidance, any curses of family origins, such as the one from Ham won't be a matter.

God still has all the good desires for you and me - multiply, fruitful, and abundance.

Do you agree with me? I hope that faith can be re-established for those people listening to my preaching. We have a deep understanding of God who has such a good heart for us. Through Genesis Chapter 9, the almighty God, once destroyed the world by the flood, is still expressing to us his wonderful desires; to increase in number, be fruitful, multiply on the earth, and yield good results. To prosper, not in poverty; to be the head, not the tail; to be at the top, never be at the bottom; to stand up a victor, never be a defeated. He will bless our bank accounts, our barns, and everything we lay our hands-on. Are you with me?

The problem is people just can't wait. In the past, we have been sowing the seeds of curses for years, the outcome follows until we change our way of thinking. Then we start to sow the seeds of blessing. During the period when we are still uprooting the curses, we need to be patient and wait for the seeds of blessing to be developed and grow.

Sowing a seed is just the beginning, daily practicing will assure future outcomes. Such as it takes years for a tree to grow, so do our lives. And this process is called faith.

Faith is not in the material blessings but the unfailing love of almighty God. He is my salvation, my strength, and everything of mine. I know my life is in His hand. This is called the road of blessing. I will end our Bible study on Genesis Chapter 9 and I hope from now on, we change the way we see things. We have to shift our world views to God's perspectives. His dear expectation for us is to become over-comers in this age. Thank you and God bless you.
