Introduction
Dear brothers and sisters! Today, we will talk about the book of Genesis again. The first chapter of Genesis is particularly good! If you are not living well today, you need Genesis chapter 1. You need to know that you have the image of God, the image of making things happen.
Genesis 1 is about the will of God. We don't need to pray, "oh God, make me prosperous!" because that is God's will; He wants you to prosper, be fruitful, multiply, and rule over the earth. Management is your responsibility and is the will of God. Management is to manage things well.
How can we make things happen? You will find that God opened his mouth to speak, and then things happened. This proves that speaking is very important!
If you are a manager in a business, you must speak up. If you don't speak up, you can't go on. So, we have to learn to speak. To do business management, you must have a corporate vision and mission. It is very important that the manager of a business says something today and something tomorrow. If the Spirit of God is not at work, it would be futile to say it because it is by the Spirit of God that things can be done.
The first sermon of Genesis is "The Will of God," and the second sermon is "Having a Vision of God." If you don't have a vision like God, it's hard to make things happen. During my ministering, I have found that the hardest people to minister are the people who have never done anything in their lives because they have developed a series of vices. Their vision, their way of speaking, and more need to be changed.
Normally, Christians think that "salvation" means that I am saved by grace and I can go to heaven when I die, but I said that how are you saved by grace? What is salvation by grace? Today, the Doctrine of Destiny has redefined this "salvation".
What is the key to salvation? It is to be restored to the image that God created us when we are still alive; to have God’s vision, to say what God says, to do things and to manage things well. Then, this person will live and prosper, be fruitful and multiply, and fill the whole earth. Sometimes I feel especially good when I think of having the image of God's glory in me. When I think of the brothers and sisters in our church who are more like God than when they just came to church one year or two years ago, I feel very satisfied with the building of the church! I feel really good when I think of how everyone will take another big step forward next year, and how they will all look like Jesus and the Apostle Paul the year after.
But there are some pastors who feel that being a pastor is a chore, while I have finally found my favourite thing. There is nothing in the world that is better than serving God! What could be better than living a prosperous life, walking with God, managing the land, and being a manager? In the future, we will become princes or princesses and be governors in the kingdom of God!
The Holy Spirit is the key
When God says it, the thing is done. Maybe you don't quite understand it, so I'll explain it to you today. If you look at it from a man‘s point of view, it's very troublesome; if you look at it from a point of view like God, you will see that Jesus opens his mouth and says something, and the born blind is healed. It's simple. Why can people not believe in something that is so simple and good? In fact, just try it and you will see.
Today, the topic we are talking about is "making it happen." It is the Spirit of God working. When you open your mouth, the Spirit of God will start to work there. The Spirit of God is a transcendent and powerful force beyond what we can imagine.
The apostle Paul says that it goes beyond what God wants to accomplish, beyond what we say, and beyond what we are asking or imagining. So when we pray, the Spirit of God will do what we ask, and that person will be healed. The Spirit of God is the key. We need to manifest the power of God, the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, in us, and then we open our mouths and speak, and things will be accomplished. Today I prayed for people and they were healed. That is the Spirit of God at work.
Then I realized that the Lord Jesus gave us a good demonstration to show us that a man has to be great, and he must be the servant of all the people. Jesus said, "I came into the world to do nothing else but to ministering to people. Then I felt especially honoured, because I don't think I deserve it. But God was really gracious to me. When I pray, people are being healed; cancers are being healed; skin diseases are being healed. Our God is good, and he accomplishes things based on what we say.
The first thing Jesus did in his resurrection and ascension was to give the Holy Spirit to fill us at Pentecost. If Jesus had not resurrected and if Jesus did not resurrect and ascend to heaven, there would not be the giving of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament, there was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but in the New Testament, the filling of the Holy Spirit is far beyond our imagination and beyond the height of the Old Testament.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2:1-4)
And the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit, and all spoke in tongues, which is true and cannot be changed.
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. (John 3:34)
The Holy Spirit of God is also full in Jesus Christ, and he has done more than we can imagine in us, so today, our brothers and sisters should not be confused by the word "indwelling of the Holy Spirit" because God said it clearly in Genesis chapter 1. That's why we love to read Genesis chapter 1, because what is said later cannot replace what God said at the beginning, where God said that man has been made in the image of the glory of God.
What exactly is the "indwelling of the Holy Spirit"? In fact, the Bible does not record such a thing. It is possible that the earliest time was with the apostle Peter, because Peter had said to Jesus:
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven."(Matthew 16:16-17)
But not long after this happened, Jesus said to Peter again, "You are Satan; get back behind me!
Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns." (Matthew 16:23)
Jesus said this to Peter because he was caring for the flesh. So it seems that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit was useless. Peter denied the Lord three times after he was filled with the Holy Spirit and then remained carnal. Some people put great emphasis on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and repentance, but without the power of God, it is useless.
There are so many miracles among us because we do not care much about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but we care a lot about the filling of the Holy Spirit. If the filling of the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ is infinite, then we need to begin to desire to be like Jesus, and we will begin to pursue the filling of the Holy Spirit. If man is separated from the Spirit of God, that is perishing; and the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us today, makes us alive again. The Holy Spirit works in our lives, and you will become a miracle worker, but how the Holy Spirit dwells in you is to be explained by the words revealed in the Bible.
you need to open your mouth and declare
People want to make things happen; they have to open their mouths and declare it. I used to see people praying in silence, but I have a problem with this because there was one time I saw a man who was praying with his head on the ground when we gathered together. I don't know if he was asleep, but if I had fallen asleep as quickly as he did and snored loudly, I would have been woken up by someone.
I used to listen to my pastor's sermons and do the same thing. As soon as he started preaching, I would quickly fall asleep, and then the people next to me would wake me up because my snoring was louder than the pastor's sermon. Later, when it was my turn to preach and lead Bible studies by myself, others slept like that. I understand because it's so hard to hold back sleep. So whenever I saw someone sleeping, I just told them: It's okay and sleep well.
Why should I open my mouth and declare it? Because opening one's mouth and declaring is the only way to accomplish things. So, closing your mouth and not talking is not what Genesis chapter 1 said. What Genesis says is that when God opens his mouth and speaks, things are accomplished.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)
People need to imitate me to declare loudly and forcefully because it is not easy to sleep. It's written very clearly here: We say what God says, not in silence or humming, but speaking.
If you are a business leader, you cannot just read silently or send out a script and ask people to read it themselves; you must also speak in a meeting. What kind of a weird meeting would it be if the whole meeting was like a silent prayer with no sound?
Today, our brothers and sisters must begin to learn to speak. What fills a man's heart comes out of his mouth. When you open your mouth and speak, it is a declaration of faith, and if you build up your faith, then things will surely be done.
If I encounter a difficult problem and can't get it right no matter how, I will say, "It is a small problem. I can do it. " After I said it, it became a small problem, and I became big. Business management must learn to speak and to build up the confidence of the staff at the General Assembly. If you speak on the stage, and your employees are thinking that this year's bonus I need to take because if I follow him, I do not know when the company will break, then it is all because the leaders in the company don't know how to speak. Leaders should learn to release the vision, release the dream, and release confidence. This way, the business will certainly flourish.
Believe in your heart, profess with your mouth
These are the words of the apostle Paul in the book of Romans.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:10)
Later, the word "saved" was quoted as not referring to the book of Genesis but to heaven after death. Then I asked them, "How do you know that you will go to heaven after you die? They replied, "I believe it in my heart and profess it with my mouth." But that's not how the word "saved" is interpreted.
When Jesus healed a person, he said that it was your faith that saved you.
Jesus said to the woman, " Your faith has saved you; go in peace . " (Luke 7:50)
It is when you believe in your heart and profess with your mouth that you will be saved. that is "saved". Believing in your heart and professing with your mouth is not something you do when you die and go to heaven. That is why the Doctrine of Destiny is not talking about "going to heaven or not going to heaven" because the Bible didn't talk about this really clearly. But living in the image of God is very straightforward. What you have to believe in your heart is that the lame can get up and walk, the lepers can be cleansed, cancer can be healed, and the blind can see. Therefore, we must not say bad things.
It is important to believe it in your heart and profess it with your mouth. You must learn to speak with confidence. This is the key to making things happen.
Today we need to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that our God is the God who makes things happen, so that we can cast out demons and devils and we have the power of God in our hands.
What you believe is what you get
The reason why you are living the way you are today is because you believe it. What you see is bad because you believe it is bad. If you believe that what you see is good, even if what you experience is bad, you must be strong and believe in God regardless of the circumstances. God put you here because he has a big mission for you. God's will is fulfilled in you. We are not ordinary in this world, and we don't want to be ordinary people. We want to be extraordinary people. We want to be managers, not only to manage our present life well but to manage the devils in the spiritual world. The devils are to be trampled under our feet, and they are to listen to us.
Today, believe that whatever we do, God's will will be done for us. If you think God is a selfish God, then you will get a selfish God. If you think God is the God of healing, you will have the God of healing. Later, I found out that people's faith is a strange thing.
Everyone has a set of things that they believe in. But within the scope of what they believe, it is interesting to see how what they believe is what they receive because they also open their mouths and declare! **As for us, we believe in Jesus Christ and are following in his footsteps! **
Characteristics of a Spiritual Person
Today, brothers and sisters, need to know that the faith of Jesus Christ is to be a spiritual person, not a carnal person, and the characteristic of a spiritual person is to make things happen because that is the attribute of our God. Today God wants to restore the God's attribute in you, which is to do things and make them happen because that is the exercise of faith. In the whole process of making things happen, you will find that it must be faith that has been sustaining you.
Some people feel that leading worship on stage is very spiritual, but getting things to happen is the key! I'm pursuing God's will for us. God wants us to manage, rule the land, and make things happen!
Look at people's results
When talking, doing things, and looking at a person, we need to see the result. Jesus said, You will both hear what I say and see what I do. What Jesus did was awesome. It is only when things are done that they have results, but when they are not done, they have no results. You will find that God works: all kinds of trees and vegetables will bear fruit, and people will also produce a lot. So, we need to look at the "results".
Some people trust me more than others, because looking at someone is looking at what they do. Don't just listen to what people say, scammers are the best at talking. You have to look at what people say and do. When God speaks, things happen; when a demon speaks, things fall apart. As a result, when you look at a man, you must determine whether he belongs to God or the devil. By the Spirit of God, you have to mould yourself into a person who makes things happen.
If you haven't done anything in the past few years and you have a dirty mind, then you must deal with it. If you open your mouth, and it is all about others' faults, you are identifying the knowledge of good and evil, and nothing will be done. You will find that God has said it over and over again.
And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)
And God said, "Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. (Genesis 1:6-7)
And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so. (Genesis 1:9)
The Doctrine of Destiny is "from faith to faith". In other words, something must start with a very small faith, and a very small faith bears a very small fruit; a very large faith bears a very large fruit, and then, little by little, the faith grows bigger and bigger.
There is an old preacher, almost 80 years old, who has been building the church for many years. When his head was still clear, he said that he had paid a very heavy price for not knowing God and talking nonsense all these years in the past. We need to know that preaching the wrong gospel will be cursed.
The Bible says that anyone who has faith by deeds and the works of the law will be cursed because it doesn't have results. Today we must know that to make things happen must be a process of practicing faith from the beginning to the end, a process of constant practice of vision.
It is by the Spirit of God that things can be done
Today we are talking about a spiritual principle. Some people say, "I believed I was going to be the richest man in Singapore, but I haven't become rich yet." That is not realistic. It is only by the Spirit of God that we can do things, and the Spirit of God is what allows us to walk in the will of God. If God's Spirit doesn't agree with what we say, it's just a blind faith. We need to restore the attributes of God today. The words that come out of our mouths are filled with faith. The word of Jesus is the Spirit and the life; the word of the devil is also the Spirit, but they are corruptions. Therefore, rely on the Spirit of God, not on the spirit of the devil. It is by the Spirit of God that things can be done. If a person relies on the Spirit of God, he will surely get things done.
Are brothers and sisters today eager to walk in the will of God? God is hoping for us to prosper and wants us to make things happen. We are all made in the image of God. When God does it, we do it in the same way. To speak the word of God, to walk in the will of God, to do things according to the will of God, to do what God wants, and to do it by the Spirit of God are all the keys to making things happen. And then, you will become a manager.
May the Lord bless you!
