Topic: Authority Has Been Given to Us

Greetings everyone, I am very pleased to meet you online again. Over the past few days, I have been discussing the theological system of healing and deliverance in seven sessions. Whether it is to receive healing or to participate in ministering healing to others, the most important thing to address in the entire theological system of healing and deliverance is the many confusions we have within us. So today, I will continue from the previous seven sessions. There are slight differences between the previous seven sessions and a book I wrote earlier, titled Healing and Deliverance Like Jesus. For example, in the past, Chapter One was Desire to Be Like Jesus, Chapter Two was The Victorious Church is Key, and Chapter Three was Authority Has Been Given to Us. This time, I moved the topic of authority a bit later, and first discussed The Victorious Church, The Church is God's Army, The Most Basic Work of the Church is Healing and Deliverance, and then Faith, and All Were Healed. As we study today’s lesson, we will think about what makes it effective? How does it become effective? I believe everyone must have this confusion. The key lies in authority. No matter what kind of Christian you are, no matter what denomination you belong to, you will recite the Lord's Prayer:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and for ever.” (Matthew 6:9-13)

Everyone can recite this, but when it comes to interpreting it, what exactly is glory and authority? Many Christians are immediately puzzled! When it comes to healing the sick and casting out demons, you can immediately see who has authority and who does not. Whether you have authority or not is related to our understanding, to what we know. If we do not believe we have authority, we will not have authority; if we believe we have authority, we will use the authority we have. And when we use it, it becomes especially effective!

In earlier years, I discovered that praying like this would heal the sick! I was very surprised, very surprised! So at that time, I was very opposed to a logic that said, You are not ready yet! You still have loopholes! You cannot minister, You cannot heal the sick and cast out demons, If you heal the sick and cast out demons, the demons will run into you! Because I read the Bible very clearly, for example, Jesus trained twelve disciples, and then said He gave them authority, and they went to preach the gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Is that statement very clear? Very clear! What about those disciples? Those disciples were not just a loophole; they were full of loopholes! Those disciples were not perfect at all! But they were effective in casting out demons! Why? Because they had authority. Later, Jesus trained seventy disciples, and it was the same! Today we must start thinking, why is our casting out demons effective today? Not because of anything else, but because we cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ! Why is this casting out of demons effective? Not because you and I are doing well, but because we have authority, and with this authority to cast out demons, it becomes effective!

We Can Represent Jesus Christ in Exercising His Authority on Earth

Will this create a contradiction? Actually, it will not create a contradiction. Today I will explain it to everyone a little bit. This explanation must go back to Matthew 16:18-19. What does this passage say?

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:18-19)

It turns out that the keys to the kingdom of heaven are an authority, which can draw on the resources of heaven. You know, if a person has the key to the house, he can go into the house and take things. The owner should have the keys. So today, brothers and sisters, we begin to recognize something again. What do we recognize? This has to do with authority. The key to healing the sick and casting out demons is to use the authority God has given us. Everyone, you will find that what I am talking about is actually not all written in the Bible? Give them authority to subdue demons. What do you think you can subdue without authority?

Let me give you a small example. The silly young man in our yard, actually played with mud when he was a kid, silly, and then he grew up. Later, I went to university, and he became a policeman. But he was just like that when we were kids, snotty in winter, wiping it with his big sleeves. But when he put on the police uniform, he was a traffic policeman, driving a police car with flashing lights, and with a wave of his hand, the cars stopped! I said this is very interesting! You little brat, I don't recognize you when you put on the uniform? You think I don't know who you are when you put on the vest? Aren't you the kid who wiped his snot in the yard when you were little? But once he puts on the uniform, he represents authority. Once you put on the uniform, you can't go against him. If you go against him, you are going against authority, and then you are in big trouble! So healing the sick and casting out demons is similar to this. The reason is that we are clothed with Jesus Christ.

When you read the New Testament, you will find that the New Testament often talks about putting on Jesus Christ. Many people say what does putting on Jesus Christ mean? We were originally like that kid in the yard, and suddenly we became a member of the army of Jesus Christ. When you go to the army, you can no longer wear the clothes you brought yourself, right? The clothes you bring, T-shirts, vests, big floral pants, slippers... they don't look like anything. So people change their uniforms and put on the armor given by Jesus Christ in the spiritual world. Now it's amazing! With a raise of the hand and a touch of the hand, it becomes effective! How does it become effective? Later, in leading the church, I often found how does it become effective? I don't have such great ability! Where do I get such great ability? I don't have such great ability. But today we are clothed with Jesus Christ, holding the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and wearing the whole armor of God. The armor is amazing! It's not about how the person inside the armor is, it's about the armor representing the authority of God's kingdom. That is to say, today you and I represent Jesus Christ in exercising His authority in this world, which is amazing!

It's not because you are so good, you are so perfect, it's not at all! That's why we heal the sick and cast out demons in the name of Jesus Christ, not because we are so perfect. If you wait until you are perfect before you come to cast out demons, I think you have no chance. Even if you are in a coffin, you may not be able to be perfect enough to be your own authority. It's all because we put on Jesus Christ, right? Relying on the authority God has given us, everything works out with a prayer!

After hearing this, do you think it's pretty good? Then how can we have authority? It turns out that we are doing God's will for us. For example, does a policeman have authority? Then if you are greedy, what will happen? You will definitely be caught! But if you exercise the authority given to you well, if you are a traffic policeman, you are legally enforcing the law in traffic, then you are not making mistakes, right? That is your job. So today we make this simple analogy, and it becomes clear, right? Straightforward, very, very straightforward, this is a very simple matter.

You will find that the Chinese Mingding Doctrine has a big characteristic, that is, it makes very complex things very simple. Everyone must know that making complex things simple is powerful! Making simple things complicated, so that no one can understand, anyone can do that, just nonsense. Isn't nonsense powerful? For example, I blah blah talk nonsense, and then ask everyone: Do you understand? Everyone has to say: Teacher, you didn't explain it clearly, how can we understand? See, this is what a person with courage dares to say. Then a person without courage would say: This teacher is very powerful! I said: How is he powerful? Oh, I didn't understand what this teacher was talking about for a long time! If you don't understand, then where is my power? My power is not in making everyone confused. If I make everyone confused, that is not called power. If everyone is confused after listening, don't think: This teacher is powerful! If he doesn't explain it clearly, can you understand? Right?

So today, we are talking about the matter of authority, does everyone understand? Otherwise, you can try it. Even if you are the smallest little kid among us, his words are effective. A few days ago, there was a 6-year-old child whose father had a sore eye. As a result, when he prayed for his father, his father's eye stopped hurting. How many loopholes do you think this 6-year-old child has? Sometimes he even throws tantrums! Just a child is effective when he prays among us, why? Because that is the authority given by Jesus Christ, and as a result, it becomes effective! Today, brothers and sisters, we must know that you and I are people holding a Shangfang Sword, have you heard of a Shangfang Sword? That is, if you hold a Shangfang Sword, you walk among the people, and the Shangfang Sword in your hand can represent the emperor and exercise the emperor's powers. To have the emperor's power is to execute first and report later, how powerful is that! But is that by yourself? No! That is by the emperor giving you authority.

Today, whether we use the authority in our hands is the key to our healing the sick and casting out demons. We must not be afraid. What is there to be afraid of? Jesus said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Then does Jesus care about hell? Of course! No matter how many levels there are underground, Jesus has the final say! All authority in heaven and above belongs to my Lord Jesus, and Jesus also distributes the authority to us.

Using Authority is God's Command, Even with Loopholes You Can Use Authority

What is authority for? Authority is for governing the world. The earthly world and the spiritual world are all under the control of Jesus. If all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus Christ, how great is that! Some people say things that are very corrupting, for example: That's Jesus! I'm not Jesus! Jesus has authority, but I don't have authority. Listen to this, these are all questions raised during Q&A. But what they want to say is: Jesus is Jesus, and I am me. That is to say, even though you are a traffic policeman, if you take off your uniform and wave on the street, almost no one will pay attention to you. Today we must know that all authority in heaven and above, on earth and below, belongs to my Lord Jesus, will you and I get authority? Of course!

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. What is the key? The key is authority. Today, Jesus has already given us authority. When Jesus trained the twelve disciples and the seventy disciples, He also gave them authority to cast out demons. Some people then say, Don't be so proud that you can cast out demons, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. It sounds reasonable, but if you think it's very reasonable, then you're in trouble! Why? Because these are two different things and cannot be mixed together. We represent Jesus on earth to exercise the authority of Jesus Christ. Healing the sick and casting out demons is one thing; disciplining our bodies is another. It's not that you discipline yourself first and then take up authority, but you can take up authority before you discipline yourself! In other words, these are two different things, but both are equally important.

It's not just about cultivating yourself. If you don't hold the authority of Jesus, how can you keep and follow God's Word? God has given us authority so that what we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and what we release on earth will be released in heaven. You haven't even done the most basic work of the church that Jesus commanded us to do, yet you want to discipline yourself. What are you disciplining? I can't see how what you're doing can help you discipline yourself. So, many people get confused. It's not based on our actions. Even when you are not perfect, do you need to be afraid to cast out demons? You don't need to be afraid. Even if you are not perfect, you can try casting out demons.

Many years ago, I had many problems, but I was dealt with a lot by God before building the church. It wasn't evil spirits dealing with me, it was God dealing with me. At that time, many people in my family didn't dare to throw away the ancestral tablets of fox spirits, but I dared to do it. Among us, if the owner wants to throw away the tablets, smash them, or burn them, but doesn't dare to move them, you try moving them, it's okay, nothing will happen. But if you are an ordinary person and you try to move them, something will definitely happen.

Over the years, there was a person, I lived in his house, and he had something in his house that had been blessed. Ever since he had something blessed in his house, things always went wrong: the eldest son was hit on the head with a brick, leaving a hole as if a coconut had been opened; the younger son was held hostage with a knife and almost stabbed to death. Then he was afraid and didn't dare to touch the blessed thing anymore. I asked him if he wanted it or not, and he said he didn't want it. Then I said give it to me, and I took it and threw it away. When I threw it away, people in my family who also worshiped these things stopped me from throwing it away, saying that it would cause endless trouble. At that time, I had just believed in the Lord, and I didn't care. As a result, after throwing it away, nothing happened. Was I perfect enough? No.

So, unless our Father in heaven permits it, not a single hair will fall from our heads. What are you afraid of? Are you still afraid of being attacked by evil spirits? Are you still afraid of evil spirits getting into your body? Do you still need to be afraid of these things? You need to know one thing: you represent the Kingdom of God on earth, and you represent Jesus Christ in exercising God's authority. Today, the Chinese Mingding Doctrine believes that: **authority has been given to us, authority represents the Kingdom of God, and using authority is God's command.** If you still have fear inside, you don't need to be afraid at all. God is still in control of everything, but we often lack strength and courage.

A few days ago, I talked about being strong and courageous, which is added to the 102 course on doing healing and deliverance like Jesus. I re-sorted the previous content, and today I am talking about the second edition. I am very sure that nothing can do anything to you! Even if a demon attacks you, it cannot do anything to you! What are you afraid of? You are holding the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and exercising God's authority on earth. But never cast out demons in your own name, and never fail to clothe yourself in Jesus Christ, like a traffic policeman without a police uniform, stopping cars on the road. That won't work, people will think you are crazy.

## Using Authority, Angels and Heavenly Hosts Will Fight for Us

Today, when we talk about authority, we must be very certain that all things are under God's control and that God has already given us authority. Sometimes I also get beaten by the devil, but does that mean God's words don't count? When you get beaten, you understand what's going on. Getting beaten is nothing great, experiencing spiritual things more is a good thing. Some people say they had nightmares, but what's there to be afraid of? If we start using the authority God has given us today, many things will become simple.

Moses held a staff in his hand, and God appeared to Moses in the wilderness, telling Moses to pick up the staff and throw it on the ground, and the staff turned into a snake. Moses then reached out to pick up the snake, and the snake turned back into a staff. In fact, the staff in Moses' hand was a snake, but how did the snake turn into a staff in Moses' hand? When you sleep, if you put the staff at the head of your bed, what if the staff turns into a snake and bites you in the middle of the night? Has everyone thought about this? What if the staff turns into a snake and bites Moses to death? But can't God control this? Do you think God sleeps when you sleep? Do you think God takes a vacation when you take a vacation? There is no such thing.

So, in the end, that staff couldn't do anything to Moses, it was under Moses' control. It's bad enough that the staff turns into anything, but it turns into a snake when it's thrown down. As a result, when they arrived in Egypt, the snake that turned from the staff in Moses' hand swallowed the snakes that turned from the staffs of Pharaoh's magicians. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. At first, Moses didn't have so many thoughts about the staff, nor was he very confident. He didn't know how powerful the staff was. This staff represented the authority God gave Moses. As a result, when they arrived at the Red Sea, there was the Red Sea in front and Egyptian soldiers chasing behind. Where could they escape? At this time, Moses pleaded with God, and God said, Why are you pleading with me? Lift your staff towards the Red Sea! As a result, as soon as he lifted the staff, the Red Sea immediately parted, and the Israelites crossed the Red Sea as if walking on dry ground.

When we read this today, you think it was the staff that worked, but it wasn't, it was the authority that God gave Moses that worked. Today, if you and I are holding a mobile phone, holding this staff, the staff of authority is capable of commanding wind and rain and subduing demons in the spiritual realm. How difficult do I ask you it is? It's not difficult. I tell you, holding the authority that God has given us, in the spiritual world, if you give a shout in the spiritual world, the angels and heavenly hosts will come to fight for you. You say, Is this real or fake? This is quite interesting: One day, I was sick, breathing was extremely difficult, and I couldn't breathe at all, I didn't even have the strength to pray. I prayed in my heart. At this time, my eyes swished open, and I saw a dark mass of demon banners, all shooting arrows at me, swish, swish, swish all stuck in my chest, so how could my chest breathe?

Then I could only barely make a very small sound. I was praying and calling out to God there. At this time, I found something very interesting appeared: in the spirit, I saw the angels and heavenly hosts, so many that they could not be counted, 哗—— all came over from heaven, and as a result, I  saw those demons, they collapsed! Some people ask me, Did you really see it, or did you see it falsely? Whether it's really saw or falsely saw, we won't say this. But my breath came up, I didn't die, I'm still alive today, which shows that this matter is really like this! You don't have to believe me, I'll just tell you a story, you can treat it as a myth. As a result, the demons collapsed, corpses were lying all over the place, it was so interesting! Watching the angels and heavenly hosts crush the demons! I said, God, so that's what it's like! So the authority in our hands can mobilize angels and heavenly hosts!

Today, why can the Chinese Mingding Doctrine have this effect of healing and deliverance? It is because God wants to build His church on this rock, and people want to build this church on His rock. I am just a vessel in God's hands, and I thank God! Until today, many people have been released through my ministry and the ministry of my co-workers, and this is a manifestation of God's authority among us. Then I tell you, the faith in me exploded all at once! At that time, I thought I was going to die, and still establish a victorious church, my little life was almost not guaranteed! I couldn't breathe, I could only exhale but not inhale. Someone else said, Didn't you say that if you get sick, you should look for your pastor? At that time, my pastor was God! That was really good!

The heavens and the heavens of heavens, the earth and all that is on the earth, belong to Jehovah our God. If our God builds His victorious church through us, we are one with God and work with God. This concept must begin to be built up in everyone's hearts. Then you say, How do you know I'm working with God and one with God? This is called Mingding! So brothers and sisters, today you must begin to receive Mingding, this Mingding is God's beautiful will for us!

When it comes to Mingding, everyone must not be confused. Our God never said, I want to build a multinational corporation on earth, I want to give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, you do business on earth, and you also do business in heaven. There is no such thing, is there? What is that? That's nonsense. So I think, today, you brothers and sisters, you need to know God's command to us, to make us vessels in His hands, to work with Him to build a glorious church, to build a victorious church. Then God gives us the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, gives us heavenly authority, and we can subdue demons on earth and exercise God's authority on earth. This is incredible, isn't it?

## The Key to Using Authority is Faith, Believing That God Has Already Given Us Authority

So later I liked to use authority, and when I started to use authority, my faith exploded, this is really good, what could be better than this? Once, there was a person who was very much controlled by the spirit of the dragon. He came to participate in the service on Sunday. After it was over, we still had to have class. He went to the bathroom. After returning from the bathroom, his waist couldn't move. But I still had to teach the class next, so what do I do? Let me pray for you quickly. After praying, I asked him if he could endure it. He could still endure it. I said to him, Then let's quickly finish this class, and then I'll lead you to pray. I didn't want to drag it out. Then I quickly finished what I wanted to say, and then I led this person to pray. As a result, this time, no matter how I prayed, it didn't work, and the person's waist still couldn't move. In the past, illnesses like waist pain would definitely be cured in three to five minutes. This time it was very interesting, it was a contest of faith!

When I was praying for him, I kept asking God in my heart, God, what is this? What is behind this? Then a vision appeared before me: a fierce beast, a dragon-shaped beast, was dancing in the air. Then I looked and thought, Oh, so that's what it is! I saw, as if watching a movie, the dragon's tail slap him on the waist, and his waist became like it is now. Then, I began to use the authority God gave me to bind this dragon. This binding was a big deal; the dragon's eyes suddenly widened, so huge! My goodness, it scared me to death! Fortunately, thank God, I am quite brave. Did you think I would be afraid of you just because you opened your mouth? Did you think I would be afraid of you just because you glared and shouted a few times? I have the authority given by God in my hand! As a result, it found that I was not afraid of it, and it had no tricks. Later, when I prayed, this person was about to be set free. In the process, this person even fought with me. His waist was broken, but he was quite energetic when he wrestled with me.

After this incident, I realized that using authority is a matter of faith: when you believe, you have authority; when you are afraid, your authority is paralyzed. So, brothers and sisters, start to understand: don't be afraid. If the devil could have killed me, it would have done so long ago. Would it have left me until today? What it says doesn't count. It's the same with you: if it could have killed you, it would have done so long ago, but what it says doesn't count. So, there is no need to be afraid of them.

Today, brothers and sisters, do you know? When the staff in Moses' hand turned into a snake, Moses ran away. How could this be? But God said, Take hold of the snake by its tail. When he took hold of it, the snake turned back into a staff. After playing this game a few times, he threw it down, it turned into a snake, he picked it up, it turned back into a staff; he threw it down again, it turned into a snake again, he picked it up, it turned back into a staff. At first, if you say you weren't afraid at all, that's nonsense. But after practicing a few times, you become very skilled. What are you afraid of? You play with it every day, hold it in your hand every day, what is there to be afraid of? This thing is quite obedient, very interesting. So, what do believers believe? They believe that God has given authority to all of us. Everyone, take a pen and write this down in your notebook: And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. (Mark 16:17-18)

Believe what? Believe that authority has been given to us! Don't say, I have this gift, I don't have that gift anymore. There is no such thing. You say, The Bible does talk about gifts! Then I ask you: when Jesus chose the twelve disciples and gave them authority, did he give them this gift or that gift? It wasn't just these twelve who had this authority; later, the seventy disciples also had it all. If Jesus were to train disciples again today, all of us, this group of disciples, would have this authority. It's not that some have it and some don't; everyone has authority! At this time, tell yourself: I have already received the authority given by God! Read carefully the scriptures in Mark 16:17-18, they will pick up snakes with their hands. Do you understand? It doesn't mean going to the market to buy a snake and playing with it in your hand. That's not what it means. It means holding the snake in Moses' hand, the snake that turned into a staff, which represents the authority God has given us to trample on snakes and scorpions. Do you understand?

The authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy has been given to us. Picking up snakes with our hands refers to authority. Everyone can connect this, right? So, today we begin to practice this authority, and you will see the glory of God. This is extraordinary! Think carefully about this: if you practice the authority God has given you, wouldn't you become someone who can command the wind and rain in the spiritual realm?

## Using Authority Has Great Effect in the Spiritual Realm

We have treasures in our hands, what are we afraid of? Now that you have this authority on you, are you still afraid of the devil running into you? No need to be afraid, right? If you remove some idols, are you afraid of the demons behind them? You don't need to be afraid! Even if the devil gives you a little poke, what's there to be afraid of? So, using authority means speaking with authority! Look carefully at the Bible; they found that Jesus spoke with authority. For example, in Matthew 7:29: because he (Jesus) taught them as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law. What does this mean? It means that the words of those teachers of the law were just talk, but Jesus spoke with authority, and authority is very effective in the spiritual realm!

In the Bible, there is a record of a centurion, a military officer, whose servant was sick. The centurion asked Jesus to heal his servant. Jesus was about to go to the centurion's house, but the centurion stopped Jesus and said, Lord, you don't need to come. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed. Jesus was amazed and said, I have not found anyone in Jerusalem with so much faith. Of course, the centurion's servant was immediately healed. The speed of operation and time in the spiritual realm has nothing to do with the distance to the destination. The speed of the spiritual realm is unimaginable. For example, from here to the moon or from here to Mars, it's all very fast with just a word. The speed of transmission in the spiritual realm is much faster than the speed of light. Light speed cannot keep up with the spiritual realm. Jesus said, This person really understands how the authority of the spiritual realm works!

After reading this story in the scriptures, I really think the spiritual realm is amazing. I'll tell you a story. If someone has heard it, please don't mind hearing it again. I just want to use this to emphasize this point. What can stop God's authority? Nothing can stop it! It can not only part the Red Sea, but it can also shake everything in the spiritual realm. Once, when I went out to eat, I received a call from a sister who said her child was crying fiercely, staring straight at the window and shivering. Seeing that situation, I knew that there was probably a demon in the spiritual realm climbing the wall and poking its head into the window. In fact, children can really see a lot of things, and often we adults cannot see them. Speaking of this, let me interject a little. Some people have said that if you want to buy a house, hold a child who is not yet one year old. If the child makes a lot of noise as soon as they enter the house, you should know what happened. But if the child looks very comfortable, the spiritual environment of the house is quite clean. If you don't hold a child, you can also hold a puppy. If the puppy barks randomly, it means that the house is in an unclean state in the spiritual realm. I am very curious as to why people's spiritual eyes gradually close during the growing process. But if you are among us, you don't have to worry about this at all, because wherever you are, that is where the kingdom of God has come.

At that time, after listening to the sister tell me about the child's crying, to be honest, it was not convenient for me to pray for them at that time; I had guests next to me. I immediately thought of a solution. I sent the sister a voice message of about thirty to forty seconds: In the name of Jesus Christ, I command this demon to leave now and not to disturb the child. Five minutes later, the sister called again. I wondered whether it was better or not. Thank God, although my faith is not great, it is still okay. The child's mother told me that the child got better quickly and stopped crying. You see, this authority can be exercised through a voice message. Is it useful? We used to be used to writing notes. Some were notes from the section chief, some were notes from the department head. Many times the notes were very useful, and now even voice notes are useful! Until now, many people have been healed by listening to the prayer recordings on our website.

## Conclusion: With Authority in Hand, Bind and Release Anytime, Anywhere

Why? This is an authority. Everyone, start to change that wrong concept, that you have to travel a long distance to find me. **It's great that we have authority in our hands! Over the past few years, we have increasingly discovered that when we begin to have faith, authority can exert tremendous power. It is really amazing. It is very effective to heal and deliver everyone on the website.** I read this passage in Isaiah before:

> Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
