Rejecting the Malady of the Pharisees

Let us first share a very important principle of Bible study: always grasp the main theme. If you fail to grasp the theme, it is not because the author did not write clearly, but because you did not understand. For example, in Matthew chapter 11, the content may seem unrelated, but upon closer reading, it is all related. The theme is: learn from Jesus' example, be gentle and humble in heart. This theme highlights that many people's hearts are, in fact, hardened.

In Matthew chapter 12, a phenomenon is described: although many people read the Bible, they do not know God's will. They think that sitting in church makes them Christians, but Jesus calls them a brood of vipers!

At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and his disciples were hungry and began to pick heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.” He answered, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread—which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests. Or haven’t you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent? I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:1-8)

Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother—this is what Jesus pursued, and what Matthew wants to convey. Let me now explain why this is the theme. Read Matthew 12:1-8 carefully twice. Matthew very directly points out the Pharisees' characteristic of nitpicking—swallowing camels but straining out gnats.

Today, if we look around at the Christians and pastors we know, are they very much like the Pharisees, with a tendency to nitpick?

To Understand the Will of the Heavenly Father

We must know that God desires mercy, not sacrifice. Sacrifice here refers to offering sacrifices, not the role of a priest. God does not desire people to worship Him; God desires people to show mercy. That is to say, to do the will of our Father in heaven, you need to truly understand what the will of the Father actually is! If you do not understand the will of the Father and spend your whole life as a Christian, how painful it would be when you come before Jesus and He calls you a brood of vipers!

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:50)

I have a small concern in my heart—that I must understand the will of the Father and carefully keep and follow it! Because the Lord Jesus highly values this, He elevates doing the will of the Father to a very high level. Those who carefully keep and follow the will of the Father are Jesus' brothers, sisters, and mother! Jesus is the God of heaven; He became flesh and came to this world. I am His brother and sister—what an honorable thing that is!

Chinese Mingding Destiny has a rule: we do not believe in tears, we do not believe in hard work, we only believe in carefully keeping and following the will of the Father. You say you serve God diligently, but that is useless. Have you carefully kept and followed the will of the Father? Some people serve God but do so with much toil, because there is strife and jealousy.

Some people see me casting out demons and healing the sick, causing people to be healed. They do not investigate why there is such an effect, but say that it is Pentecostalism. I am surprised to hear this! This is the difference between doing the will of the Father and not doing it! Our brothers and sisters must not be like the Pharisees, who saw Jesus Christ's disciples pick a few heads of grain and made a fuss about it.

You say how many faults do I have? I have many faults. I have a bad temper, and I am a bit verbally violent when I criticize people, but verbal violence, on the contrary, releases the other person and drives out the demons. The Pharisees like to nitpick. If you really want to find faults, you can find a lot!

I know that I still have many weaknesses and small faults, but I am very concerned about God's will. I know that God desires mercy, not sacrifice. For example, tithing—if you do not understand the meaning of tithing, do not tithe. Someone asks, then why do you collect tithes? I hope you are blessed! That is offered to God.

Someone also asks: Where does the money I tithe go? Actually, where the money goes has nothing to do with you. If we were back in the Old Testament times, would we ask the priests where the money we tithed went? What use is there in asking that?

Are we really concerned about the money? We are not concerned. If we carefully keep and follow the will of the Father, will we lack money? Jesus is my brother, and all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to my Lord Jesus Christ. I will carefully keep and follow His will, and build His glorious church on earth. Will I lack money? How could I possibly lack money?

God's Will is to Set People Free

God delights in mercy, not sacrifice. How are you doing in this? When I see brothers and sisters oppressed by demons, I feel sad and want to release them from the hands of the devil. I am very grateful that God has released them through my hands.

When I lead in prayer, many people with eye diseases are healed, because when I pray, I say that all who have eye diseases, I pray that you will be healed. Because this is God's will! Blindness is not God's will; healing from blindness is God's will. God does not desire sacrifice; God desires mercy.

Once, I saw a group of pastors practicing hymns, and one of them had a disease attack. Among the group of pastors, no one stood up to pray for that person; instead, they continued to practice singing. What is this? If someone among us serves with this attitude, they should be reprimanded. God desires mercy, not sacrifice; to heal people is the will of our Father in heaven.

Is it God's will for a man to have a withered hand? No! It is God's will for a man with a withered hand to be healed. Whether it is the Sabbath or not, it is God's will to set people free. Whether it is worship or praise, that is not God's will. God desires mercy. In our church, whether we sing or not, whether we worship or not, as long as there is a need, we will pray with you.

In the current state of city lockdown due to the epidemic, many pastors hope for a day when they can gather normally. Of course, resuming normal gathering is good, but during the lockdown, we can have a lot of time to pray for people with problems. Otherwise, what will happen to these people? I am very surprised that many people care about worship, praise, and various musical instruments, but no one cares about the sick.

I have promoted one thing among us, which is that all worship and praise is healing and deliverance. While singing and releasing, by the Spirit of God driving out demons, the devil will retreat. Every prayer, every worship, is all transformed into releasing God's grace and mercy, because there are too many people in need.

For example, there is a sister who has severe depression, often with visual and auditory hallucinations. Her church's pastor does not allow her to attend services or small group meetings because she has demons and will scream during the meetings, affecting others' worship. Is worship more important, or is releasing her from the control of the devil more important? What do you think God would do?

Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12:9-12)

It is permissible to be close to God and do God's will on the Sabbath. It is precisely God's heart's desire to release people from the control of the devil on the Sabbath. Brothers and sisters, do you have a heart of mercy? Do you have God's grace and compassion? You need to pat your chest and ask yourself. Of course, some people are hard-hearted and do not seek healing at all, but you still have to heal them. If that is the case, save your mercy.

If God's people are under oppression, do we not need to release them from the control of the devil? Therefore, brothers and sisters can see God's glory and the great power of the Holy Spirit among us. Many people are healed and delivered, displaying God's power as never before. This is my yearning before God. I really yearn for God, yearn for God to heal all diseases among us.

Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick. (Matthew 12:15)

Is there anyone who was not healed? No! It is God's will that all should be healed. I often have to answer many strange questions. I am surprised why such questions are asked. For example, some people say that Timothy had a stomach ailment, so God did not heal everyone. Can Timothy's example abolish God's promise? Is Timothy the standard for doing the will of the Father? No!

The Bible says that Jesus healed all who were sick. This is God's compassion and mercy. What we should pursue is the fulfillment of God's will. We cannot use some individual examples to negate God's word and God's will. I get a fever as soon as I get angry, because when I see my colleagues doing things, I get anxious and angry, and then I get a fever. God says, who told you to get angry! I say, God, I'm sorry, I have sinned again.

Even if I have a fever, it does not negate God's grace, righteousness, and promise, let alone negate that God is full of mercy and full of grace. God's promise is established in heaven forever, that is, in Jesus Christ. No matter how many promises there are, they are all faithful.

Why can't God's promises be fulfilled in many churches? Because many people like to grasp those trivial, insignificant things—picking a few heads of grain on the Sabbath, singing out of tune during worship and praise...I often sing out of tune, but what I care about is not the tune of the song, but God's will.

We All Need to Have a Heart of Mercy

Why does God like me more and more? Because I long to carefully keep and follow God's will. The will of the Father is to fill people with mercy, because justice and mercy are God's will. God wants us to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. If we all act according to God's will and receive promises from God, isn't that a wonderful thing?

Brothers and sisters, we must re-examine ourselves: do we have a heart of mercy inside? I serve my colleagues, and they are all good people. If they have problems, they keep them to themselves and do not come to me. I know that I need to release them from oppression, so I find them three to four times a day and ask them if they have any problems. It's not that I'm idle to do this, I'm really very busy and tired, sometimes so tired that I don't even have time to prepare when taking everyone through scripture.

I don't like doing things without preparation, but I squeeze in time, and I don't care about my own image. However, when I take everyone through scripture, I talk good. Each time that I take everyone through the scripture, I feel that God is particularly gracious to me. Although I don't have time, God has time, and God reveals the mysteries to me.

I received a help request from a sister, who in reality has many bad habits, but she refuses to change, so her pastor kicked her out of the group. I asked this sister how she was doing? She said last night bad spirit possessed the bed, not good. I said: come back quickly, this time come back and have a good release, and diligently follow the will of the Father, and I will arrange someone to receive her. This sister was swindled out of 3 million when P2P was prevalent and lives very hard.

What are we pursuing in our hearts? We pursue God's justice, mercy, and walking humbly with our Lord. Know that God heals us, is not to say cure some and do not cure others, but rather cure all, because healing people is God's will.

The church plays instruments, puts on shows, wears big flowered trousers, and dances on stage with big flowered fans. It looks pretty good, but can these things compare with the sick getting healed? That's far away! To heal the sick, that is God's will, so you can see the glory of God manifested among us.

When I lead in prayer, some people with 0.1 eyesight become 0.2, then 0.4, and now they can see something. Thank the Lord, many presbyopes have also improved a lot, those with slow heads, unable to think, those whose thinking gets stuck have also received healing.

I'm very excited because this is God's will. Brothers and sisters, do you desire to be such Christians? If you do, rise up and be a Christian like me. Instead of being a Christian who is healed, be a Christian who Heals others.

God's Will Is for Us to Proclaim God's Name

Next, let's look down:

He warned them not to tell others about him. (Matthew 12:16)

Many people do not understand this sentence after reading it and are very confused. So, the scripture says:

in his name the Gentiles will hope. (Matthew 12:21 )

In Genesis chapter 11, people wanted to make a name for themselves, and as a result, God destroyed the Tower of Babel, and people were scattered everywhere. In Genesis chapter 12, God found Abram, and later named him Abraham. Are you sure it was Abraham who hoped to have his own name be big? No, Abraham did not want to make a name for himself, but wanted to proclaim God's name.

Abraham Proclaimed God's name, but God made Abraham's name great, don't think this is contradictory, it is not contradictory. We must know that God's will is that we proclaim God's name, spread God's grace and mercy, and spread God's glory and promise; this is the destiny that Jesus undertook.

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice to victory. in his name the Gentiles will hope.” (Matthew 12:17-21)

In the church this industry, competition is known. How many people do you do the church? My church has 10 people. How many people do you do the church? The size of my church consists of 100 people, why does your church only have 10 people? This sounds very uncomfortable. People like to compete inexplicably. Did Jesus need to proclaim his name? The withered hand is healed; the eyes of the blind see; the lame walk is going to proclaim his name? No Publicity necessary.

Some time ago, a sister brought many people to our church. She was very responsible for inquiries around me. I do not enjoy in promoting myself , only promote the name that is the reverse, which is what God does. Sister all over the place for news, one person to people, said I: This man awesome, very good. In fact, this in, what I do not know good person, but he said I was awesome, maybe he is an angle.

So Brothers and sisters, don't chase your name, do not pursue own interests, also don't competition as well as din, also do not street shouts. Now that this generation, promote name very dangerous. Some that they are a martial arts master, as a result, came to a kick a foot in, gave punch to his put down, future how to wrap it up? I also did not know how to deal, and it will not be easy.

Brothers and sisters who come to our church either have a Mingding Destiny, or have a great need for healing and deliverance. Don't you do you think I chart what your, I only graph that you a sickness get remedy! And I am not morally kidnap you, if you got remedy, willing follow I together diligently keep comply with the will of the Heavenly Father, then you will walk this road together, line in God's will.

God's Will is for Us to Heal the Sick, Cast Out Demons, and Bring the Kingdom of God

Can we, as brothers and sisters, have a heart of compassion like God?

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. (Matthew 12:20)

Isn't this how we emulate Jesus? Please do not misunderstand me. Some may find my words harsh, but I speak to set you free! My words are directed at the demons, not at you. This is God's will! What did Jesus come to do on earth? Jesus came to fulfill the will of the Father, to bring the Kingdom of God! Why are people healed? Because Jesus casts out demons by the Spirit of God, and the Kingdom of God descends, utterly destroying sickness!

Therefore, brothers and sisters, understand that there is no sickness in the Kingdom of God. Some may ask, Then why did Song Shangjie get sick? Why do you get sick? That only means I still need to deal with my flesh! Dealing with our flesh is a lifelong lesson!

Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?” But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebub, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.” (Matthew 12:22-24)

Some, seeing what Jesus did, said He was the Son of David, but the Pharisees, upon seeing it, said that Jesus cast out demons by the prince of demons. What kind of talk is this? Such a statement is unfounded. Do these Pharisees not read the Bible? Do not assume that those who read the Bible are necessarily doing the will of the Father. Satan also reads the Bible and can even memorize the entire Bible, but did Satan do the will of the Father?

Therefore, do not assume that reading the Bible is the same as doing the will of the Father! Even if you memorize the entire Book of Romans, it does not mean you are doing the will of the Father.

Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. (Matthew 12:25-27)

If someone says that we cast out demons by the prince of demons, that we are heretics, it is very strange. Those who cast out demons are labeled as heretics, while those who do not cast out demons are considered orthodox!

And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. “Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. (Matthew 12:31-33)

Therefore, casting out demons is God's will. If you want to use a thousand or ten thousand examples to deny it, I will not argue with you. If you want to be a Pharisee, then be it. But I will carefully keep and do the will of the Father. Today, many Christians, when asked how the Kingdom of God comes, cannot answer. Today's Christians are very good at reciting the Lord's Prayer, but when asked how the Kingdom of God comes, they cannot answer. If they do not know how the Kingdom of God comes, how can they do the will of the Father?

But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. (Matthew 12:28)

The coming of the Kingdom of God is closely related to casting out demons by the Spirit of God! So what is it called if one does not cast out demons by the Spirit of God, or does not cast out demons at all? Casting out demons is not merely a matter of spiritual gifts. Casting out demons by the Spirit of God, letting the Kingdom of God descend, is God's will. God's will is to let the Kingdom of God descend! So should we be Christians who cast out demons? Next, each group, each pastoral district, will begin to promote the casting out of demons. Maybe some will say there are no demons to cast out. As long as you want to cast them out, God will surely fulfill your desire.

Some also say that no one shepherds them! What about your mother? What about your family? They can shepherd you! Sometimes I am deeply moved, people do not pay enough attention to this! People always like to find fault, but do not like to cast out demons. How then can the Kingdom of God descend? If you ask me what I like to do most, I do not like racing cars, I do not like horse racing, nor do I like hunting. I like to fight demons! Fighting demons is so good!

Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house. (Matthew 12:29)

I am the one who binds the devil, and then plunders the devil's wealth. Do you think we will be short of money? We will not be short of money! After casting out demons, the demons must repay double the amount. The reward for casting out demons is very generous! Let's just say that the blind and mute person is healed, would you say the reward is high? It is high! Then the woman with the issue of blood is healed, would you say the reward is high? It is high! Some may say: What is high! She gave all her money to the doctor! It does not matter! Next, as long as she is willing to do the will of the Father, she will run forward together and will have a very generous reward!

The reward for casting out demons is very high because you can plunder the devil's wealth! Old Ma's evil spirit is very bad. It has stolen the blessings of many people. It is very rich in its home. When we cast out this demon of Old Ma, it often said: All the money in the hospital is mine, I will put it in an ox cart and send you the money!

He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters. (Matthew 12:30)

We must be in accord with Jesus. What Jesus does, we do. If you do what Jesus does, you are in accord with Jesus. If you are not in accord with Jesus, then you are against Jesus, this is definitely not a joke. We must examine ourselves, whether we are standing on God's side or on the devil's side? Are we standing on the side of the Pharisees or on the side of Jesus? If your left hand belongs to the devil and your right hand belongs to God, then there is trouble!

Therefore, brothers and sisters, be sure to choose to stand on the side of Jesus, to be a demon caster, to let the Kingdom of God descend, to love mercy, to do justice, to walk humbly with your God. Do not do things that resist the Holy Spirit. Resisting the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, this is a very obvious thing.

If we let the Kingdom of God descend, the Holy Spirit fills us, and do things that imitate Jesus, will that become a charismatic or heresy? Those who are not in accord with Jesus are anti-Jesus. If you read the Bible but do not know the will of God, then have you not read it in vain?

A good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Can you let the Kingdom of God descend, release the captives and the oppressed? Do not have some unimportant things, but without the power of God. God's most important will is for us to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

We do as Jesus did, no need to find thousands of excuses for ourselves, finding those excuses is useless. Finding excuses only shows one thing, not keeping and doing the word of God! What is it to not keep and obey? Even if they are the brothers of Jesus Christ, Jesus said: Who are my brothers and sisters and mother? Only those who carefully keep and do the will of my Father are. Jesus said these words are very heavy!

You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. (Matthew 12:34)

If the heart is not carefully keeping and doing the will of the Father, even if you dress up well, it is just lip service. If what we have inside is carefully keeping and doing the word of God, pursuing the will of God, we do not have to do those face-saving efforts, will not compete, be jealous, or quarrel, nor will we wear big floral pants, take a big floral fan, jump and dance, will not pay attention to who is stealing the spotlight and who is not.

What people say is what is inside them; what the heart is full of, the mouth speaks, this is a very serious matter. Some people think that I am a Christian, I have been saved by grace. Really? The Pharisees also thought they were saved.

God's Will is for Us to Establish a Heavenly Logical System

Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. (Matthew 12:38-39)

This passage is very interesting, and many people misinterpret it. In fact, these words were spoken to those scribes and Pharisees, those who said that Jesus cast out demons by the prince of demons, and later asked Jesus to show them a sign. Did they think Jesus could not hear it?

We must begin to form a new system within us, that is, the logical system of the Kingdom of God! If it is not the logical system of the Kingdom of God, then we must first repent! Do not think that Jesus does not want miracles, Jesus performed many miracles! God wants our entire logical system to be completely rewritten!

When I discussed with the brothers and sisters, someone asked me a very pointed question: David killed Uriah and committed adultery with his wife, and he was actually a man after God's own heart. How do you see this? Such a pointed question, perhaps many people think I have no answer, but I have an answer. Although David had his weaknesses, he was filled with the Kingdom of God system, not Saul's system.

Saul was filled with a human system, a worldly system, and David was filled with the heavenly system. David simply did not value these worldly things, nor did he care about these things at all. Although he was weak, he repented. Repentance is the most important quality of a Christian!

People should not be hard-hearted, and should repent when they see what God has done. How important is repentance! Examples of repentance include Jonah and the Queen of Sheba. The Queen of Sheba listened to Solomon's words and saw Solomon's wisdom during Solomon's reign. Today we see Jesus doing greater than Jonah and greater than Solomon among us. His wisdom and power, honor and glory far exceed that generation. Do we not need to repent?

Today what you see Jesus doing among us, does your inner logical system still contain a worldly logical system? Do we still care about money? Are we really short of money? If you are filled with the Kingdom of God system, you will never be short of money. We must begin to completely dismantle those worldly logical systems. If they are dismantled, how can we utter the words of a brood of vipers? We will know that Jesus is our treasure.

So brothers and sisters, do not think that it is over when the demon goes out and is released. What do you do after you are released? Of course I will cast out demons for you. If the demon inside you is cast out, but what is inside is still a worldly logical system, then will not the demon bring seven more evil spirits in?

I ministered to a person who came to us with severe mental illness. We released her, but then she had to make a living, so I trained her for free. As a result, she had no gratitude at all, but competed and was jealous, and then left the church and stopped learning, so I was relieved. Later, the mental illness returned. You want to ask how it came back? It was because what was inside was still a worldly system, and the worldly system is very deadly.

Imitate Jesus, Let God's Will Be Done

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here is my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:46-50)

These words are a bit heavy. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Whoever is born of the Holy Spirit belongs to God. What is born of the Holy Spirit? It is those who are filled with the system of the Kingdom of God. We are heavenly people, we no longer do earthly things, we are people who possess a heavenly logical system and heavenly values. These worldly things are no longer important, and doing the will of the Father is our lifelong pursuit.

I think it is very interesting to interpret the Bible in this way. After I finish speaking, I am also very edified myself. Let us be the people of this generation who do the will of the Father. Through casting out demons, let the Kingdom of God descend, let the devil and enemies be completely trampled under our feet!

I tell the brothers and sisters a good news, I have mastered a new skill, which is to make people smarter. How to make people smarter? Give people a heavenly logical system, and people will become smarter. Because once people do not have a heavenly logical system, they will care about many things and become stupid.

We must pursue to be like Jesus, we only care about completely doing His will. Because in whatever place we do not do His will, in that place we become stupid; in whatever place we do His will, in that place we become smarter! When we begin to imitate God and do what He does, when we constantly drive out the foolish demons from within us, when we begin to completely trust God, we will have wisdom!

Casting out demons is the key to making people smarter. Therefore, brothers and sisters, be sure to rise up and become a mighty warrior who casts out demons! May God bless everyone!
