Introduction
Good morning! I am very happy to meet everyone online again! This time, I want to share a topic with you, which may bring confusion to everyone, and may even feel that this topic cannot build your confidence, but it is very, very important. This time's topic is God Will Choose Deluding Things for Them. What are the benefits of this topic? Perhaps in the future when you draw a blessing card, you may draw God Will Choose Deluding Things for Them. Then are you them or who? This is a matter of life and death. If we are among them, this will become God's choice to delude them.
There is a short video: a very fierce dog—a pit bull—and a tiger are both tied with ropes around their necks. Then this pit bull goes to provoke the tiger, but the pit bull and the tiger are not in the same league at all. As a result, in the video, you can see the tiger using its claws with a slap, and the dog yelps and jumps. The tiger tuns and presses the dog to the ground in one go, biting the dog to death. We don't know where the pit bull gets such great confidence? It even gesticulates in front of the tiger. After all, the dog is no match for the tiger, but it has this confidence. We also find it very strange.
There is another interesting story. Khrushchev once visited the United States. He mentioned that our astronauts have entered space. In fact, at that time, entering space was only a few hundred kilometers away from the ground. As a result, when he got into space, he saw: no God, no Lord, nothing at all.
At that time, an American stood up and said, Mr. Khrushchev, we have a frog that suddenly jumped out of the well, and looked around: no Khrushchev, there is no Khrushchev in the world. Khrushchev's face turned blue and white. Who are you? There are too many things you can't see, you are simply a frog in a well. Where did this person get such great confidence? Who gave him such great confidence? To be such a foolish person is really incredible.
The great philosopher Nietzsche was so young, how many years did he live? People are like this, one year passes in the blink of an eye, time flies, and decades pass in the blink of an eye. As a result, the great philosopher Nietzsche said there is no God, God is dead. Later, Nietzsche went crazy and died. I think what's very interesting is: where do people get this confidence? How do people become stupid? It is actually by not investigating, not researching, not arguing, and not speaking with facts. As a result, they came to such a conclusion.
Nietzsche went crazy and eventually died, but God did not die, and the heavens and the earth did not pass away. Nietzsche died, you can't see it; batches of Nietzsche's followers also died, and batches of them went crazy. But God is still there, and the heavens and the earth are still there. Where do people get this confidence? Where do they get this self-confidence? Where does the self-righteousness that allows people to proclaim like this come from? However, there are still many things that people do not know.
Some people say that Nietzsche's books are wonderful. Do you think his books are wonderful just because his name is Nietzsche? How do you know his books are wonderful? Where is the brilliance? We people are like this, we don't know the immensity of the sky and the earth, and we don't have a sense of awe. We must know that people are far behind, and we must know that people need to have a sense of awe.
Since ancient times, the Chinese have compared their China to China. In China, the emperor who obtained the country obtained the world. Why didn't he obtain the heavens? He couldn't obtain the heavens! Because he is below the heavens. So what did the emperor call himself? He called himself the Son of Heaven. Why didn't he call himself Heavenly Brother? Why didn't he call himself Heavenly Sister-in-law? Why didn't he call himself Heavenly Father?
You must know that the emperor is not in heaven, but below heaven, so the emperor calls himself the Son of Heaven. People must know that there are many things that people cannot do. Generation after generation of emperors died, generation after generation of Sons of Heaven died, but the heavens and the earth are still there. So don't fool yourself.
There was a great leader who wrote a poem called Looking Up at the Starry Sky. Never mind his background, but I admire the humility of man he expressed in this poem. Some Christians don't even have this basic awe, but self-righteous Christians are quite numerous.
Now I will read the poem Looking Up at the Starry Sky to everyone: I look up at the starry sky, it is so vast and profound; that infinite truth makes me search and follow it bitterly. I look up at the starry sky, it is so solemn and holy; that awe-inspiring justice fills me with love and makes me feel awe. I look up at the starry sky, it is so free and peaceful; that broad mind allows my soul to rest and snuggle. I look up at the starry sky, it is so magnificent and glorious; that eternal heat ignites the flames of hope and the thunder in my heart.
This poem is so well written! People must know the immensity of the sky and the earth, and don't let self-righteousness fool you. The biggest fooling is that the Pharisees, full of confidence, crucified Jesus. This group of self-righteous Pharisees, hypocritical Pharisees, crucified Jesus, the God they worshiped in the temple, who became flesh. Where did this confidence come from again?
Do we brothers and sisters today also have this confidence of the Pharisees? Have many things been fooled by ourselves? Many Christians don't learn too much in their lives, but they learn that I have been saved. Is it really saved? What exactly is salvation? Where does this confidence come from to confirm that you have been saved? This is really a matter of life and death!
We must know that there are still many things we cannot let go of. The spiritual realm is so real. To this day, people still see many phenomena in the spiritual realm. Once, I went to a city, and a friend brought his friend to pick me up. This friend chatted with me in the car and told me about his magical experiences. His experiences were so magical that they were like stories from Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.
He said that he couldn't sleep at night. As soon as he fell asleep, a very beautiful female ghost hugged him and did that thing with him, which felt very real and very comfortable. But if this happened every day, he really couldn't take it. As a result, he developed a habit of not being able to sleep at night and only sleeping after the sun came out. He could only watch TV in the middle of the night, so he was very sleepy when driving during the day. Later, I really drove the ghost away.
To this day, I think this kind of thing is still happening. Those things told in Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio are often thought to be made up by the author. There are really many stories of the spiritual realm among us. No matter how many people are fighting counterfeiting, things in the spiritual realm are really happening. What is confusing? Many times, things in the spiritual realm are difficult to repeat. If they cannot be repeated, they are said to be false. People must know that many phenomena are beyond our imagination.
But brothers and sisters, do you still not understand today? The sermon I preached some time ago was Do You Still Not Understand?. But don't talk about the gap between man and God, even the gap between a pit bull and a tiger is incomparable. We need to start to understand.
Sometimes I minister to some of our brothers and sisters. After the ministry, he said to me: I have less and less confidence in myself now. I said that's a good thing! Anyway, his confidence was of no use in the first place. People must not have too much confidence in themselves, that thing is called self-confidence. Just like Nietzsche's self-confidence.
Today what we need is God-confidence, don't believe in yourself, believing in yourself is self-confidence, God-confidence is believing in God. Don't have too much self-confidence, self-confidence is useless, no matter how self-confident people are, they can't stop disasters, no matter how self-confident people are, they don't know when they will be born and when they will die. No matter how confident people are, no matter how very, very confident they are, and write a lot of philosophical books, they still can't stop themselves from going crazy, and they can't stop ghosts from possessing themselves.
Brothers and sisters, today there is a sentence in the scriptures I am talking about: God looks upon those who are humble and contrite, and who tremble at God's word. The more confident people are in themselves, the less able they are to trust God. According to ordinary people, the fifteen-minute sermon will be finished in one go, and this is indeed a short sermon. So what did you hear? That is, people must not be ignorant of the immensity of the sky and the earth, people need to be humble and contrite, and tremble at God's word.
The topic I chose is God Will Choose Deluding Things for Them. People like Nietzsche, pit bulls or frogs, Khrushchev... To some extent, they are all deluded people. God will choose deluding things for them, and as a result, the pit bull died in the tiger's mouth, so do we also need to know the immensity of the sky and the earth?
Scripture
Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist, says the Lord. But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word. He who kills an ox is like him who slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb is like him who breaks a dog's neck; He who offers a grain offering is like him who offers swine's blood; He who burns incense is like him who blesses an idol. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations, So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears upon them; Because, when I called, no one answered; When I spoke, they did not hear, But they did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight. Hear the word of the Lord, You who tremble at His word: Your brethren who hated you, Who cast you out for My name's sake, said, 'Let the Lord be glorified, That we may see your joy.' But they shall be ashamed. (Isaiah 66:1-5)
Prayer
Lord, let us know clearly that we are the ones you care for. We are those who are humble and contrite and tremble at your word. Lord, don't let us be them, so that the things you choose to delude will come upon them. Lord, if you call, we will seek to hear, if you speak we will obey, and we will do what is pleasing in your eyes.
Lord, we are those who tremble at your word. Speak to us today and save us from the snare. Let us come out of the things that delude us, and let us personally experience your grace under your protection. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Scripture Background
Everyone knows that Isaiah is a great prophet. His book of Isaiah is very long. Because of its length, Isaiah became a major prophet. The book of Isaiah is called the book of the Major Prophets. The other short ones are called the books of the Minor Prophets, but prophets are not divided into major and minor. What does Isaiah want to express in the last chapter of Isaiah? He wrote words that are very surprising. What did God say? He said,
Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? (Isaiah 66:1)
We talk about building a glorious church, and a glorious church is the place where God dwells. But Isaiah 66 is written like this: Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? What kind of temple are you going to build for me? What kind of glorious church are you going to build for me? And where is the place of my rest? Do you understand? God feels emotional! God is really very emotional: Where is the place of my rest? Does God need rest? God also needs rest.
“For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word. (Isaiah 66:2)
We must know that everything is made by God. What kind of temple can we build for God? Heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool. We are so small people on earth, what kind of temple can we build for God? In fact, whether to build a temple or not is not important to God, because it is all built for God. In what God created, there are you and them. You are the people God cares for, those who are humble, contrite, and tremble at God's word, so building up the church requires being humble, contrite, and trembling at God's word.
The attitude towards God's word in Isaiah immediately divides people into two groups: one group is called hypocritical: God will choose things that confuse them. No matter how they look at it, they fall into confusion, no matter how they look at it, they can't figure it out. Why are they confused by God? Because these people are them.
Their hypocrisy has become a habit, and it has become natural. They hear God's word, but they don't hear it; they see it, but they don't understand it. No matter how they think about it, they are confused! Another group are those who are humble and contrite because of God's word, and who tremble at God's word. In building God's church, people are immediately distinguished: you and them.
The Bible says:
Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? (Isaiah 66:1)
If we are humble, contrite, and tremble at God's word, we will imitate Moses and build the tabernacle according to God's revelation, and that is God's church, and God will have rest among us. If we build the church with reverence for God's word, like Solomon and David built the temple according to God's revelation, God's glory will fill the temple. Because of such reverence, humility, contrition, and trembling at God's word, God's Spirit will have rest, and these people will be cared for by God.
All this is made by God. We are building God's glorious church on earth because God wants to build his church on this rock. It is never that we want to build a temple for God. How small we are! We must know the immensity of the sky and the earth. As a result, once divided, some people are cared for by God, and some people are those whom God will choose to confuse. You think, isn't the Pharisees crucifying Jesus a delusion? Then God brought upon them what they feared, and this is the attitude towards God's word.
How do people become stupid? If people are self-righteous and go their own way according to their own choices, they will fall into delusion. People obey God's word, tremble at God's word, and are humble and contrite. We must know the immensity of the sky and the earth, we are just individuals, and we must act according to God's word. Today we thank God that God can have rest among us, because there is such a person who trembles at God's word and then builds his church according to God's word. God's glory is among us, and God has rest among us. We are a group of people who are cared for by God and are also humble and contrite.
To what extent are many people confused? They think they have really heard God's word, but they have not heard it. Isaiah wrote to the last paragraph - which is about building God's church. This is the background and theme of this passage. Am I speaking clearly? Have I created confusion for everyone? I think, although the topic of my sermon today is God Will Choose Deluding Things for Them, but we are not them, I hope that brothers and sisters will not be them.
Whether you are you or them all depends on your attitude towards God's word
In the past, there was a sister who was dirt poor. After working for ten years, all her savings were enough to buy a plane ticket from Taiwan to Singapore. During that time, she was not in our group. One of our sisters pastored her through two mobile phones relaying recordings, one mobile phone playing the sermons in our group, and the other mobile phone playing through Bluetooth for her to listen. She was especially pursuing, and God had mercy on her. Later, she got a job, and the salary was many times higher than before.
As a result, there was trouble. In the past, she was poor and not qualified to love the world. Now that she has some savings, she tells the pastor: she is not interested in God's word, she cannot understand God's word, she has no goals in it, and she spends time shopping on Taobao, shopping, and sleeping, what kind of attitude is this? This is not humble contrition, this is called going your own way. People like this change into them as they walk. God will choose deluding things for people like this. I hope that brothers and sisters will not be them, but all be you in the Bible, those who tremble at God's word, and never be hypocritical people.
“He who kills an ox is like him who slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb is like him who breaks a dog’s neck ; He who offers a grain offering is like him who offers swine’s blood; He who burns incense is like him who blesses an idol. Just as they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations, So will I choose their delusions, And bring their fears upon them; Because, when I called, no one answered; When I spoke, they did not hear. (Isaiah 66: 3-4)
If someone draws a card with this sermon on it, you have to be careful! Are you you or them? Are you those who are cared for by God or those who are hypocritical? These people say they don't offer sacrifices, but they also offer lambs; they say they offer sacrifices, but they also pretend to be good; they slaughter cattle, but God says it is like killing people; offering lambs is like breaking a dog's neck, which looks very dirty; offering grain offerings is like offering pig's blood, in fact, these are all people whom God is tired of.
If our attitude towards God's word has changed, have you run from you to them? Or some people are half you and half them. These you and them are spoken of in Isaiah 66:1-5:
Hear the word of the Lord, You who tremble at His word. Your brethren who hated you, Who cast you out for My name’s sake, said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, That we may see your joy.’ But they shall be ashamed. (Isaiah 66:5)
Can everyone tell the difference? Let's pat ourselves on the chest and ask ourselves: who am I after all? Which group am I in? Do I belong to the group that God chooses to delude or the group that God cares for? Always remember to ask yourself such questions, don't be so confident. Who are you after all? Which group are you in?
Providence and Delusion
Some are under God's providence, while others are subject to God's delusion. This is a serious matter! In my ministry, I have seen many people often deluded by God, left utterly trapped in their delusion. It turns out that God is doing one thing: dividing people into two groups, you and them, one group under God's providence and the other under God's delusion. The more one is under God's care, the more humble and repentant, the more one trembles at God's word. The more one goes his own way, the more God deludes him, causing him to fall into delusion.
I am very surprised at how deteriorated people’s confidence is. If you are a very confident person, where does your confidence come from? What is the basis of your confidence? You trust yourself. What is the basis of the path you have chosen? The two groups of providence and delusion are a serious matter.
I ministered to a sister and put in much effort. From childhood, she was extremely discerning of good and evil, to the point of being outrageous. Outrageous to the point that her eyes went blind; there were no black pupils, all white, which was frightening! After coming among us, her black pupils slowly emerged, and now she can see some things.
Later, I learned the reason why her eyes became like this: one day, she packed two meals, intending to take them home to eat with her husband. As a result, the door was locked from the inside. She waited outside in the cold winter, which was very hard. Later, her husband came out with another woman, and in a fit of anger, she went blind. Through our ministry, her eyes were finally able to see, and we felt this was a great grace.
One day, this sister caught a minor illness and went to the hospital to see a doctor. On the way back, she happened to meet another sister from our church. She said to her, Look, the hospital is still good. Look, my eyes are better because the hospital treated them. It's really incomprehensible, because her eye condition had been going on for a dozen or twenty years. She also said that she only tithed 200 yuan out of her monthly income of 2,500 yuan. This is such delusion, hard to understand!
Her later outcome was not good either. So I think some people are chosen by God to be deluded, to fall into delusion. Those who choose their own way do not have much knowledge. They are full of confidence in themselves and become deluded people.
In the church, if you pastor someone who is deluded by God, what will happen? You pastor someone who was originally chosen by God, and then God deludes them. Such people become them. How should you pastor them? A small shepherd sent a message to his pastoral zone leader, saying that he recently listened to the teacher's pastoral Q&A and felt guilty about the couple he was pastoring. Are this couple people who are deluded by God or people who are under God's providence? I can tell you with certainty that they are people chosen by God to be deluded. Why feel guilty? I also find it very strange. Where did my words go?
Brothers and sisters, if you want to build a temple for God, it is not made by your hands but by God's hands. The most important thing you can do to build God's church is to be humble, repentant, and tremble at God's word. You must know that God wants them to be deluded, choosing them to delude them, so that what they fear will come upon them. If you want to pastor them, you have to know what you are doing! You even say you feel guilty to them. Why don't you say you feel guilty to God?
Providence and delusion, this kind of situation is quite common. No matter what your background is, I will give you a little reminder: those who have many serious illnesses, even if they are healed through prayer, you still need to be vigilant. Why did you get such serious illnesses and suffer so much torment? Because we went the wrong way in the past, going our own way. Will we no longer go our own way today?
You are healed because there is a group here who are under God's providence, people who tremble at God's word, not because of anything you have done. But you still need to make a choice: do you want to be someone under God's care or someone who is deluded? Today I will remind you: if past illnesses have tormented you badly, you must know that there is a lot of trash in your head. Don't you need to deal with it?
Are you a hypocrite? God says, Slaughtering an ox is like killing a man, and sacrificing a lamb is like breaking a dog's neck, so God doesn't need these at all. We see in this world that it is full of injustice, unrighteousness, and all kinds of disasters, which is simply incomprehensible. There is a saying in the world: The pitiful must have hateful aspects. What is in these people's hearts? So brothers and sisters, our experiences often tell us: we have gone the wrong way, we should not have so much confidence in ourselves.
When we were studying the Bible some time ago, Nietzsche was mentioned, and one brother thought that Nietzsche's books were very wonderful. I thought to myself, what delusion! Can't you be more sober! Wonderful what? Do you also want to learn from Nietzsche to go crazy and die? A person whom God hates, whom God deludes, whom God punishes, and upon whom God brings disaster, we actually think he is wonderful. Isn't that fatal?
Dealing with Self-Righteousness
We often have a lot of self-righteous things inside us. Some time ago, I ministered to a person whose wife was in our church. He himself was in poor health, with many illnesses, and was often tormented badly. One day, he was weak all over, and I prayed for him. After praying, the strength in his hands recovered somewhat; then I prayed for his feet, and his feet also had strength. The next morning, I took him to pray again, and his strength was completely restored. Later, I went to do other work.
In fact, he was not completely well, and then he desperately went to see a doctor. In fact, he had been seeing doctors for a long time in the past. Did he fool me? Or did he fool himself? Today, I want to tell everyone that people should often think that they are not doing things right! We don't do many things right in our lives! Or basically haven't done things right, so why are we so confidently expressing our views? Self-righteousness is quite harmful.
When I answer questions, I know what people's confusion is through the questions they ask. What do people ask? Why did God harden Pharaoh's heart and make Pharaoh like this? Did God do something wrong? People like this; or Abraham was going to offer Isaac to God, why didn't he tell Isaac in advance? So many years have passed, why think of defending Isaac? You will find that people often have these things inside.
Remember: Self-righteousness, going your own way, and choosing your own way are all fatal. Deal with self-righteousness. Today, I want to remind our brothers and sisters that as our church has come to this point, whether you are doing pastoral care or not, and no matter what spiritual stage you are in, we must often ask ourselves if we are too self-righteous. Where does the confidence for what we believe in come from?
Many of our brothers and sisters feel very good about themselves. Many years ago, when they came among us, they were nothing. His pastor continued to work hard on him, pastoring him, until now he is able to take up a job and have a stable income. Before, the place where he lived was like a plastic shed, with heavy rain outside and light rain inside. Later, his life became normal. After so many years, when he goes to pastor people, he doesn’t do it well, and doesn’t put in effort, but he feels super good about himself: I am indeed inheriting the teacher's pastoral care method.
Which part are you inheriting? There are quite a few things that make me feel emotional. Today, we must know that I am working hard to tear down your confidence, to tear down the things in you that are based on ability. I hope you can know that there are still many things you don't know. You may feel: so you are a capable person? Everyone, don't be mistaken. The Book of Isaiah says:
But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word. (Isaiah 66:2)
Perhaps you don't quite understand today, but I am indeed humble and contrite, because I don't know many things! I know that God's word stands firm in heaven, and I will tremble at his word. Some pastors told me: I build churches basically the same way you do! But why has my church become like this? You say that I pray for people with a lot of effort! Why has the amount of sleeping pills increased fourfold after praying? I also work very hard! I do basically the same as you, why doesn't what I do have any effect? What self-righteousness! Can that be the same?
The results are different, can you say that they are the same thing? If you are inheriting my pastoral methods, why haven't the people you have pastored grown at all in a year? Did we do it this way when we pastored you? No, we didn't! Where did you get that Pit Bull-like confidence? Where did you get the Nietzsche-like confidence, thinking that you are a philosopher and can challenge God?
Human history records the disasters and confusions brought about by self-righteousness, so brothers and sisters must come out of self-righteousness. Last night I was ministering to a sister. I told her what to do, how to do it, and to discuss it with me before implementing it well. I said that in all these years, you haven't done many things right. But she didn't listen and went to do her own thing again. After doing it, what results did she get? In fact, what she got was confusion and disaster, but she was very confidently walking on the road of self-righteousness.
Rigorous Attitude and Method
No matter what you do, whether you read God's word or do engineering projects, a rigorous attitude and method are essential. God has never approved of those who are careless, muddled, and do things sloppily. Such people cannot do things well. Without a rigorous attitude and method, whatever you do will either be sloppy and loose, or grimacing, and the things you make will be skewed and flawed. It is really not rigorous. A rigorous attitude and method are essential.
If people do things according to their own ideas, the results will definitely not be good. If people implement things well according to the laws of development and the essence of things, they cannot make skewed and flawed things. You must often challenge yourself: do I really understand? Today, look at what we do, and we will know what is inside us. This is what Wang Yangming called the unity of knowledge and action.
The results people do outwardly are what is in their heads. The reason why people do things like this is because people's understanding in their heads is like this. For example, making a cabinet skewed, crooked, and leaning, it cannot be good. Making a cabinet must conform to the laws of making a cabinet. Are your dimensions accurate? Are you really doing it according to the laws of things? Or are you doing it in a muddled and perfunctory manner?
Can we develop a rigorous attitude today? If we still cannot develop a rigorous attitude and method, and people feel uncomfortable in their hearts when they are told about it, and they still care about face when they are not allowed to be told about it, then wouldn't that be hypocrisy? Not only does building a church require a rigorous attitude, but making a cabinet and writing software also require it! I will give you a word: Do one thing and figure it out, do two things and figure them out. Don't make decisions without thinking, being self-righteous.
Building God's temple with this rigorous attitude, God will rest in the temple we build. We do things according to God's word, trembling at God's word. This word is so incredible to us. Trembling at God's word, how can it be reckless? So we must get rid of the confidence inside us.
In my pastoral care, dealing with this kind of thing is the most common. For example, our brothers and sisters do translation, translating Chinese into Korean. I have my own set of understanding and views on language. They do things recklessly, and when I say something, they say that mine is not good and theirs is good. So we often choose some methods that are not sustainable, but we ourselves don't know it.
Whether it is learning IT, doing carpentry, doing translation, or building God's temple, a rigorous attitude and method are actually the most needed in a person's life. On my first day of university, my teacher taught me about the issue of rigorous attitude and method. The example the teacher gave on the first day was deeply engraved in my mind. She said that a plane crashed because one person's rivet was not done well. If one rivet is not done well, the plane will crash and the pilot will lose his life, which is fatal.
So we must be rigorous in doing things and not make decisions without thinking. Especially today when we are building God's temple, if we don’t trembling at God's word and do not have that attitude of humility and repentance, the consequences will be fatal. For example, if the church is built but becomes something God chooses to delude, wouldn't that be upsetting?
There is a school in Canada whose principal is very visionary. Students who graduated from this school built a bridge, but the bridge later collapsed, and tons and tons of steel were wasted. As a result, the principal bought back the steel, cut it into sections, and placed it on campus. What for? Every year when college students graduate, he cuts a little bit off, melts it down, and makes steel rings. Then he tells the story of the collapsed bridge to the graduates. Later, every one of these graduates became a rigorous engineer, turning bad things into good things. Later in Canada, engineers who wore this kind of steel ring became a very famous symbol, which is a rigorous working attitude and method.
Constantly Adjusting According to the Results
Constantly adjust according to the results. Why? If we work hard we still may not be right, but if we work haphazardly, we will definitely not be right. If we are very confident in our choices and options, then your confidence is built on the results you produce. If the results are not good, there is no God's care, no God's presence, no God's glory, then don't say Pastor Liu, I'm doing about the same as you. However I evaluate it, it is just not the same. We have to speak according to the results. If the results are not right, then we keep adjusting.
I think it is foolish for people not to speak according to the results. Let's start being smart people today. I hope that all our brothers and sisters can be smart people, and constantly become people who build God's glorious church, who tremble at God's words, and who are humble and repentant because of God's words through learning in the church, instead of being hypocritical; confidently nailing Jesus to the cross, confidently saying that they have been saved. Have you really been saved? We have to constantly adjust according to the results.
If you keep implementing what I say, I can guarantee one thing: people are less likely to get Alzheimer's disease. What kind of people get Alzheimer's disease? People who are not rigorous and do not study hard when they are young, who do not master a learning method, a way of thinking, or rigorous work, and whose whole life is simply reckless.
The spiritual world is so real. If we fight the devil in the spiritual world, we must master the spiritual laws. Did you press the devil down or did the devil press you down? We have to constantly adjust according to the results, and not make decisions without thinking. If someone is willing to correct you and point out your problems, there is no need to cover up for your own face. Say what you have to say directly and bluntly.
Conclusion
Let us come out of them. I believe that there are still many people among us who are in the group of them.
These have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations; I also will choose harsh treatment for them and bring upon them what they fear, because when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, they did not listen; but they did what was evil in my eyes and chose that in which I did not delight. Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at his word: Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name's sake have said, 'Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy'; but it is they who shall be put to shame. (Isaiah 66:3-5)
Although they say nice things, they will ultimately be put to shame! So today we must by all means begin to know which group we are in. Are we among those whom God chooses and deludes? Or are we among those from God chooses and is under his providence? Brothers and sisters, if you can wake up after listening to my words and are determined to tremble at God's word, then the goal is achieved.
May God bless everyone!
