Introduction

Good day to you all! Let us turn to the fourth chapter of 1 Samuel. When reading the Bible, it is crucial to grasp certain principles. What principles, you ask? You must consider who is speaking the words. For instance, Judas, who betrayed Jesus, is recorded in the Bible. Should you believe his words? Or Peter, who denied the Lord three times, if he were to say denying the Lord is a good thing, would you trust his words? Certainly not. Consider the father of a child possessed by a demon, suffering from a manic condition, who said to God, I believe; help my unbelief! Is that something to be believed? Is that God's will? It is not!

After the wife of Eli's son gave birth, with both her husband and father-in-law dead, she named the child Ichabod, meaning the glory has departed from Israel. Can these words be trusted? These are the words of someone who does not know God. Did God kill them, or did the Philistines? It was God who killed them. Who caused the downfall of Israel? It was God. Later, when the temple was destroyed, who destroyed it? God did. Did the glory of God depart from Israel at that time, or did it not? The glory of God was among them, and this was God's work, God's judgment upon unfaithful priests.

We must never think that God's work has ceased; God's work has neither increased nor decreased. Whether you have done something or nothing, whether you are faithful or not, it adds nothing to God, nor does it take anything away. God's glory remains. But God's glory became a judgment towards Phinehas, Old Eli, Eli's two sons and his daughter-in-law and in the end, they all perished.

Brothers and sisters, you should know that if you search the Bible online, you will find a phenomenon. What phenomenon? First, some do not explain or say what God's will is; they simply recite the Bible repeatedly. That is one method of Bible study. Are they wrong? Not exactly, they just read it repeatedly. The second method is to share one's own views, but whether it aligns with God's views is unknown. In my opinion, this second approach includes strange notions like asking God to increase faith or claiming that the glory has departed. In my words, they just do not know how to learn well.

Therefore, I have been diligently trying to solve a problem: everyone must learn and know God. You must understand what God is trying to tell us in the Bible and grasp that. You can listen to one of my Bible studies and then listen to others online. You will either become very confused or not confused at all. You will find many online interpretations quite amusing, and eventually, you will not be able to listen to them anymore. Why? Because you already know how to read the Bible, and you know that what they are saying is not on point. In Northeast China, we call this Er Wu Yan.

Do you know what Er Wu Yan means? For example, music must have rhythm and structure. If you keep making dong, dong, qiang sounds, I am not entirely sure what is going on. But I do know that a person who does things unreliably is called Er Wu Yan. Because in music, there is no such thing as a two-five beat. We have two-four time, three-four time, and four-four time, but no two-five time, so anything arranged as such is unreliable.

God's judgment is upon unfaithful priests. I cannot guarantee that I am a faithful person. I only have one thing: God has set a goal for me, and I strive to pursue it wholeheartedly. I dare not say that I am a faithful priest; I can only say that I am勉勉强强 very diligently doing. But I want to tell you that if one day judgment comes upon me, do not pity me. It is all my own fault. I must have gotten it wrong, not God.

I am speaking about myself now, and others can observe slowly. If God's judgment comes upon us, how should we react? We must recognize that we have not understood correctly, and not insist on our own way, as our own way has already brought severe consequences. If we continue to persist in our own way, the trouble will be enormous. Brothers and sisters, God's judgment had been upon Eli's house for forty years, and Eli had been a judge for forty years.

Bewilderment from Defeats

Often, when I see the Israelites suffer defeat, or the church suffer defeat, we tend to explain it in various ways. But there is only one explanation: unfaithfulness leads to defeat. How does one explain defeat then? Many would say, God, how disgraceful it is that your people are defeated! But it is not God who is disgraced, it is man who is disgraced, because of unfaithfulness. God's people do not fight with swords or spears, but with faithfulness to God and with God's presence. Building the church is not for man, but for God; it is to be in accordance with God's will.

You must gradually understand that building the church must be in accordance with God's will. Defeats bring bewilderment. The Israelites went to war, and four thousand were killed. Bewildering? Very bewildering. They thought they were God's people, God's church, and that the one within them was greater than the one outside. But God was not in them at all. Those who are unfaithful should be grateful that demons are not dwelling within them.

Even today, many traditional churches still propagate this idea, and you often see defeats occurring. One moment, a pastor gets cancer; another moment, another pastor gets cancer. These are all God's judgments. There are many reasons, but the most important one is not knowing God. Do not think you know God. If you knew God, why do you not see God with you? We used to get it wrong, but thankfully, we still have the opportunity to repent. If we continue to be deluded and rush towards error, we will be like Eli's sons, and that is God's judgment. It is not that God has suffered defeat. Don't get it wrong. If God's people are defeated, if the church is defeated, it is they who disgrace themselves, not God.

God's judgment not only came upon Old Eli in the Old Testament, but God's judgment still comes upon God's people and God's church today. God has never changed. We must remove the bewilderment within us; for example, how can a pastor who loves God so much get cancer? Brothers and sisters, listen to my words: if a prolonged and severe illness, or a great and heavy disaster befalls you, it is definitely a curse. If you don't believe it, you can carefully read Deuteronomy chapter 28. God's people have many bewilderments because they do not know God!

I encourage everyone to strive with me to know God. Don't think you already know God. What do you know? Until today, my knowledge of God is only a drop in the ocean. It is far from enough. Let me give you an example. How widespread is the IT industry today? It is growing bigger and bigger. Many well-known companies in the world are IT-related. Others have hundreds of thousands of people working on it, while we only have a handful. How much can we know? Knowing a drop in the ocean is already good.

There is so much knowledge today; don't think that acquiring a drop of the knowledge of Jehovah makes you something special. You will not finish knowing Him even with a lifetime of pursuit. Therefore, Chinese Mingding Destiny encourages everyone to continuously know God, and do not just know a little. One day you see a vision, one day you have a dream, one day your hair stands on end, one day something happens, and you think you are already born again and saved? Stop it. I am not discouraging your faith; I am discouraging your ignorance. If we have any bewilderment within us, it is because we do not know God. You must know that God's judgment begins with God's people.

Unfaithful Priests Will Be Judged

Many years ago, I sat in the audience listening to a pastor preaching on the stage, weeping bitterly about how he had suffered from depression for many years and how he has been sued by members and leaders of the church. As I sat there listening, I felt extremely perplexed. I remember the last time I studied 1 Samuel was in 2013. From 2013 until now, the matter of Old Eli has been deeply imprinted in my mind. At the time, many people felt sorry for the pastor and wanted to pray for him. But for someone like Eli's sons, is it useful to pray for him? It is not. Sacrifices are never useful; only pursuing faithfulness is God's will.

The reason why this pastor became like this is because he did not build the church according to God's word. He would appoint whoever had the most donation as a leader in the church, is such practice allowed in God's church? Appointing whoever had the most donation as a leader is a matter of life and death! Then he messed up on his own. Later, he said that there was a temple not far from where he built the church, but in fact, that temple could not influence him. There is only one reason for this: the absence of God's presence in that place. If there is God's presence, why would you care about the temple? When the Ark of God was brought to the temple of Dagon, some began to worry: isn't God able to protect Himself? We have too much unneeded bewilderment. Therefore, brothers and sisters must be sober! Unfaithful priests will be judged.

There were some pastors whom I personally served. After serving them, I felt really sad, because many things in their minds were not God's words. Let us begin to open our eyes and carefully read the books of Moses, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Many people may wonder why God did things this way. The truth is, God has always done things this way. If you want to, try быть an unfaithful Christian. How many brothers and sisters among us still have strong worldly value systems in their hearts today?

When you ask them to change, they feel that they cannot live without it. As a result, they are exploited in their businesses, beaten in the malls, and hurt in the workplace. Then they think that the God inside them is not that powerful, and they are bewildered! But I would say that they asked for it, they are too stubborn for their own good. Yesterday, during a prayer session, a brother I have known for many years went bankrupt recently. He called it entering the ranks of the poor. When I used to hire employees, I preferred Christians. But suddenly, one day, I stopped wanting to hire Christians. Don't think I am talking nonsense. I hired one who was not good, then I hired another who was not good either. They did not work hard. Later, I hired another one, which reinforced my idea. I wondered, why are all Christians like this? I sighed with emotion! Thank God, those whom I trained turned out to be all right.

God's judgment comes upon unfaithful priests, and they all have reasons for being unfaithful. They may not even know that they are unfaithful. Why? Because they have their own set of ideas in their heads. These people are self-righteous to an outrageous extent. They do not know that they are unfaithful, and they even think that they are very faithful. This is a huge misunderstanding! I encourage everyone, to see oneself with sober judgment. If you do not understand sober judgment, then see yourself as you ought to see. God's judgment will not be wrong. Unfaithful priests have a whole bunch of reasons for their unfaithfulness, but they think that they are all reasonable.

Look, if I were unfaithful, how could I be a pastor for forty years? Look, God has also given me a Samuel. Look, the words spoken by Samuel have all come to pass! Look at what you are saying. Do you think what you are saying is incredible? Do you think that putting Samuel forward makes you faithful? Do you think you are faithful by doing a few things? Do you think you are faithful by healing one person? Do you think you are faithful by delivering one person? Therefore, unfaithful priests will be judged, and God has been waiting a long time for us to repent. Whenever you repent, God will withdraw His judgment. Brothers and sisters, you must know for sure that sometimes God does not withdraw His judgment even when we repent, but most of the time, God does not want us to die, but wants us to live!

God sent a man of God to warn Eli, not only sent a man of God to warn Eli, but also sent a man of God to warn his two sons. In fact, they heard quite a bit, but after listening, they felt that this person was not sent by God, and that the words spoken through him were not from God. Therefore, we must know that sometimes a testimony does not prove anything! Whether I am a man of God or not is not important. Unfaithful priests, do you think that bringing out the Ark of the Covenant will work? Eli, his two sons, and his daughter-in-law died on the same day! Prayer does not work either.

Remember! It is particularly difficult to deal with Christians who are sick. Praying for one year, praying for two years, and still seeing no effect; it is very troublesome. Sometimes it is the brothers and sisters among us, who have been praying for years. It is particularly difficult to deal with Christians who are sick. Why? God had already said in 1 Samuel chapter 2 that it is useless for the house of Eli to offer sacrifices. Offering a bull or a sheep is useless. If our prayers are not working, it has nothing to do with me, and I am not ashamed, and God is not ashamed either.

Unfaithful Priests Have a Wrong Understanding of God

Now the Philistines mustered their forces to fight against Israel. And when the battle broke out, Israel was defeated by the Philistines, who killed about four thousand of their fighting men on the battlefield. When the soldiers returned to camp, the elders of Israel asked, “Why did the Lord bring defeat upon us today before the Philistines? Let us bring the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Shiloh, so that it may be with us and deliver us from the hand of our enemies.” (1 Samuel 4:2-3)

Do you think God cares about these four thousand people? If they died, they died, God does not care much. In the wilderness, God struck down six hundred thousand Israelites, God did not care. The people went back to the camp, very bewildered, why did God defeat us before the Philistines? They thought that they were God's people, the one inside them was greater than the one outside, and God was greater than the Philistines! But they did not know that they were God's enemies, wouldn't that be troublesome? God was not trying to deal with the Philistines, God was trying to deal with the Israelites. Those elders were quite muddleheaded, they were similar to Eli's two sons, unwilling to know God, and did not know God, and then they were full of bewilderment.

Today, in traditional churches, when people get cancer, they think that the one inside them is greater than the one outside. When they get mental illness, they say that the one inside them is greater than the one outside. In fact, the spirit of mental illness inside them is quite big, bewildered right? Very bewildered! Because they do not know God! As a result, they say, “Let us bring the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Shiloh, so that it may be with us and deliver us from the hand of our enemies.” Will this work? It will not work! Even if you bring out the cross, bring out the image of Jesus, it will not work. If you have the problems of Eli's sons, think carefully, even if people pray for you, it will not work.

Bringing this out, bringing that out, or anointing with oil, these will not work. There is only one thing, which is to know God again. They do not know God, they think that the Ark of the Covenant represents God's presence, and that with the Ark of the Covenant, they can surely be victorious? Does the Ark of the Covenant really represent God's presence? Nonsense! If the Ark of the Covenant represented God's presence, that would be great. In fact, the Ark of the Covenant is an idol!

So the people sent men to Shiloh, and they brought back the ark of the covenant of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim. And Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of God. (1 Samuel 4:4)

How the Ark of the Lord came about is not mentioned here. Was it transported by an ox cart or a horse-drawn carriage? We do not know, but it was brought there anyway, and the transport of the Ark did not follow God's instructions. Can the Ark of the Lord be handled this way? It cannot. As a result, when the Israelites saw the Ark of God arriving, they thought they would immediately be victorious, which also shows their ignorance. Some time ago, I mentioned that many people expect to become successful immediately by worshipping masters. I advise you to save your effort; it is not effective. When the Israelites saw the Ark arriving, they shouted loudly, and the ground shook. The Philistines were confused and asked, What is happening? Didn't four thousand people die? Are they mourning for these four thousand people? Someone said, No, it is the Ark of their God arriving. As a result, the Philistines were frightened.

I cite many examples in my sermons, and as a result, everyone regards me as a master. I am not a master; I am not even qualified to be a minor master. You do not need to shout and want to shake hands with me or have me lay hands on you to become smarter. I advise you to forget about it; it is not effective. I often attend Christian gatherings where there is earth-shattering shouting, blowing of trumpets, and waving of flags. After all this, they say, Those who are sick, raise your hands! Everyone raises their hands. I often see this and am very surprised. Do you think God will accept such large and small gatherings? It is better to be faithful to God; this is not knowing God.

As a result, when old Eli saw the Ark being captured, he was worried about the Ark. After being an unfaithful priest for a long time, one's understanding of God becomes very chaotic. To what extent? He was worried about the Ark of God. You should worry about your own life. You do not need to worry about God's church, nor do you need to worry about God's Kingdom. God has His own Kingdom. You also do not need to worry about God's cross or God's Ark. In fact, God does not care at all. God even tears down His own temple; God even tears down His Church; God even personally judges His unfaithful priests. It is terrifying not to know God.

As soon as he mentioned the Ark of God, Eli fell backward from his seat by the side of the gate; and his neck was broken and he died, for he was an old man and heavy. He had judged Israel forty years. (1 Samuel 4:18)

Old Eli was worried about the Ark. As soon as he heard that the Ark of God was captured, he fell backward from his seat, and his neck was broken, and he died. How terrifying! Why is this? Why wasn't he shocked to this extent by his own unfaithfulness? If he had been shocked to this extent by his own unfaithfulness earlier, why would he have seen God's judgment coming today? How ignorant! Then his daughter-in-law spoke two ignorant statements, The glory has departed from Israel! Is this the glory departing from Israel? This is the glory of God manifested in Israel, the authority of God manifested in Israel, and God personally judging His unfaithful priests. What glory departing from Israel? The glory of God has never departed; it is just that these unfaithful priests will see the glorious judgment of God.

Brothers and sisters, when you read the Bible, you must pay attention. When Moses built the Tabernacle of the Lord, the glory of God filled the Tabernacle of the Lord. What happened later?

Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. Moses then said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke of when he said: “'Among those who approach me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.’” Aaron remained silent. (Leviticus 10:1-3)

This is the glory of God. If you read the Bible carefully, the glory of God will execute His judgment. Therefore, we must serve God with fear and trembling, with a heart of reverence for God, until we have worked out our salvation.

She named the boy Ichabod, saying, “The Glory has departed from Israel”—because of the capture of the Ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband. “The Glory has departed from Israel,” she said, “for the Ark of God has been captured.” (1 Samuel 4:21-22)

Old Eli's daughter-in-law said, God, how could such a thing happen? I tell you, many pastors say, God, how could such a thing happen? after such things happen in their families. Old Eli's daughter-in-law thought, God, haven't my husband and father-in-law served you wholeheartedly and with all their strength? Why did they die like this? If they didn't die like this, how else would they die? She still thought they were serving God wholeheartedly. In fact, this is God's judgment; this is human ignorance. Do people think that serving God is as simple as doing something casually there? Therefore, the people of God perish for lack of knowledge! The priests of God perish for lack of knowledge! The daughters-in-law of God's priests perish for lack of knowledge! What do you mean by the glory of God departing from Israel? The glory of God has never departed! Today, let us remove all these wrong perceptions. If you are not afraid of God, I am afraid of God for you.

The Victory of God's People in Battle Depends on God's Presence

Knowing God and knowing that God gives life and takes life is what Hannah, Samuel's mother, said.

The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength. (1 Samuel 2:4)

There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2)

The Lord brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up. The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. (1 Samuel 2:6-7)

If we truly know that everything is in God's hands, that the victory of God's people in battle does not depend on swords, chariots, horses, or weapons, but on God's presence, then we must serve God with a trembling heart. Christians must know for sure that the victory of God's people in battle depends on God's presence. Do you really rely on God's presence? If you rely on God's presence, you will build a glorious church, participate in managing God's church, and work with God. You say, I don't know how to participate. How could you not know? You can serve in the smallest ways. Who have you served today? You are good at empty talk. How have you served? Has your service been effective?

Don't say that I have not arranged for you to serve. You have not even learned from others. How can I arrange it? Can you learn from your small group leader? When will you have a heart to serve? Do our brothers and sisters have that heart to serve? I am very moved. Today, in building a glorious church, if you really have a Mingding Destiny, what have you done? The church is not a place for preaching, nor is it a place for Bible study; the church is a place for pastoring.

But pastoring must depend on the word of God. If we all develop the habit of serving with our lips, it is useless. Do you really know how to serve? If you don't know how to serve, are you really willing to be trained? Don't come up and say, Teacher, no one serves me. Why? If I give you people to serve, how will you serve them? The victory of God's people in battle depends on God's presence! Joseph in Genesis had God's presence, and he still had God's presence when he went to Egypt. How miraculous! Because he had faithfulness to God in his bones.

Among us, I don't know whether to speak deeply or shallowly. If I speak deeply, you will be hurt and discern good and evil with me. If I speak shallowly, it won't work. Even after I finish teaching the Bible, you still argue with me behind my back. Of course, there are also those who don't argue. I am moved that Joseph did not discern good and evil even after being sold into Egypt. Someone wants to build you up, but you still discern good and evil. Isn't that strange? Of course, I am just complaining. The church is the same. There is no need to invent a lot of methods. God just looks at whether you have this Mingding Destiny. Faithfulness is closely linked to Mingding Destiny. Therefore, in Exodus, even though Potiphar's household still worshipped idols, it could not affect God's presence with Joseph.

A person with a Mingding Destiny is someone who closely follows God and desires to be used by God. Idols or no idols, it doesn't matter. Once, when I was ministering to someone, I wanted to throw away their idols. As a result, the person said, Teacher, can you not throw them away? I said, Why? He said, Can you help me send them to the temple? Then I sent the things to the temple, and there was no problem. Brothers and sisters, start to obtain the logical system of Chinese Mingding Destiny. This logical system is that if you are a person with a Mingding Destiny, if you are like Joseph, there is no problem. If you are like Jacob in his uncle Laban's house, what is the problem? There is no problem; don't come up with a lot of methods.

Know that God tests people! Don't think that you have proven yourself faithful just because you raised a little Samuel. It cannot be proven. So I say that only a person with a Mingding Destiny can be faithful! Joseph went to Potiphar's house, and there was no problem. God tests people, causes people to fall, and also causes people to rise up. You must not become a person who falls. God is a stone that causes people to stumble. Be a person who knows God, obtains a Mingding Destiny, and becomes a person who is raised up and used by God. Let's talk a little bit about what you have done in the past week. Were you really faithful to God? What about the past month? What about the past half year? What about the past year?

Determine to Be a Faithful Priest

A person who is faithful to God will definitely act according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and take this as our life. We live for this and die for this, and nothing can stop us. Many people always have reasons, either today or tomorrow. They always have reasons, but they don't know how to be faithful people. The Israelites considered the Ark to be very important, and of course, faithful priests should also consider the Ark to be important. But it is more important to consider God more important than the Ark. The Ark is just a box. To consider the covenant made with God important is called faithfulness. Do not add to or subtract from the word of God, establish a complete theological system, and then view the works of God through this generation. You will find that there is no confusion in you at all.

This is God's judgment! That is also God's judgment! Make up your mind, God, I want to have a heart of reverence before you! Be a faithful priest! Regardless of whether you like to hear some words or not, I will speak them as long as they are beneficial to you. Even if I offend you to the point of leaving, so be it. I will still be a faithful priest. Whether it is timely or untimely, I will serve as long as I have breath. This is my style of serving.

I am very moved that those who imitate me see the effectiveness of serving, while those who do not imitate me do not see the effectiveness of serving. I ask you to imitate me, not to make big talk. Actually, I went astray for a while, and God disciplined me, so I repented properly. There are too many traces of God's discipline on me, which are clearly visible. But they cannot become obstacles to my serving God and being God's faithful priest. Although I have many problems and many shortcomings, I am faithful to God. Everyone, start pondering and figuring out how to be a faithful person. You can go and see, go and understand, and grasp God's heart.

What is God's heart in 1 Samuel chapter 4? God's heart is still that we be faithful priests! Sometimes I serve even when I am sick. Someone asks if I don't take care of myself. Serve until death. I also get sick, and I am not a model of holiness, but I am definitely a model of a faithful priest, which is also my goal. No matter what, we must fear God!

4:1 And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to battle against the Philistines, and pitched beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.
4:2 And the Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was smitten before the Philistines: and they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men.
4:3 And when the people were come into the camp, the elders of Israel said, Wherefore hath the Lord smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord out of Shiloh unto us, that, when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.
4:4 So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubims: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the Ark of the Covenant of God.
4:5 And when the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.
4:6 And when the Philistines heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the Ark of the Lord was come into the camp.
4:7 And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore.
4:8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.
4:9 Be strong, and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight.
4:10 And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.
4:11 And the Ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.
4:12 And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army, and came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth upon his head.
4:13 And when he came, lo, Eli sat upon a seat by the wayside watching: for his heart trembled for the Ark of God. And when the man came into the city, and told it, all the city cried out.
4:14 And when Eli heard the noise of the crying, he said, What meaneth the noise of this tumult? And the man came in hastily, and told Eli.
4:15 Now Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his eyes were dim, that he could not see.
4:16 And the man said unto Eli, I am he that came out of the army, and I fled to day out of the army. And he said, What is there done, my son?

大家好!咱们来看《撒母耳记上》的第四章。读《圣经》的时候大家要掌握几个原则,什么原则呢?你得看那句话是从谁口里说出来的。比如说,出卖耶稣的犹大,是记载在《圣经》里了,那他说的话你要不要信呢?还有三次不认主的彼得,如果他说不认主挺好的,那他的话你能信吗?都不能信。又比方说,有一个孩子被鬼附了,得了一种狂躁症的病,这个孩子的父亲跟神说:神啊!我信,求你加添我的信心。那能信吗?那是神的心意吗?这不是神的心意! 老以利的儿媳妇生完孩子,丈夫和公公都死了,就给孩子起名叫以迦博,意思是荣耀离开以色列,这话能信吗?这是不认识神的人所说的话。他们的死,是神杀的,还是非利士人杀的呢?是神杀的他们。到底是谁使以色列亡国的呢?是神使以色列亡国的。后来圣殿被毁,是谁把它毁了?也是神毁的。这个时候神的荣耀离开了以色列,还是没有离开以色列呢?**神的荣耀就在他们当中,这就是神的作为,神的审判临到不忠心的祭司**。

**我们千万不要以为神的作为不在了,神的作为不曾增加,也不曾减少。**不管你做了什么,没做什么,是否忠心,对于神来讲,没有加添什么,也没有减少什么,神的荣耀仍然在那里。只是神的荣耀变成了非尼哈,老以利、老以利的两个儿子和儿媳妇,最后他们全都挂了。 弟兄姐妹可得知道,如果你去网上查《圣经》,你会发现一个现象,什么现象呢?第一种,他也不解释,也不说神的心意到底是什么,只是把《圣经》来回念了几遍,这是第一种查经方法。那你说他错了吗?他也没错,就是多念了几遍而已。第二种查《圣经》方法,是把他自己的看法讲了,至于是不是神的看法谁也不知道,我想这第二种看法里,就包括求神加添信心,神的荣耀离开以色列这一系列的东西,全都是很奇怪的状况。按我的话说,就是不太会学习。 所以最近我很努力地想办法解决一个问题,就是大家得学习,得认识神。大家要知道,在《圣经》里神说的话,是要告诉我们什么,得把这事抓住。你可以听一段我讲的查经,然后再去网上听一听别人讲的查经,要么你会产生很大的困扰,要么你没有困扰。你会发现网上的很多讲法都挺搞笑的,久了以后再听那些你听不下去。为什么呢?因为你已经会读《圣经》了,你已经知道他们讲的东西根本就不在那个点上。这种状况在我们东北,就叫做二五眼。 大家知道什么叫二五眼吗?比如音乐这东西得有板有眼,如果你整天弄咚、咚、锵的话,至于是怎么回事,我也不是那么清楚。但是我清楚一件事情,一个人做事情不靠谱叫做二五眼。因为在音乐里面,根本就没有二五这种节奏。咱们听到的有四二拍,四三拍,四四拍,但是没有二五拍子,所以整的这个东西都是二五眼的东西。

神的审判临到不忠心的祭司,我也不敢保证我是不是忠心的人,反正我只有一件事情,神给我定好了目标,我就竭力追求。我真的不敢说自己是一个忠心的祭司,我只能说勉勉强强很努力在做。但是我想告诉大家,如果有一天审判临到我,大家不用怜悯我,都是我自己活该,一定是我搞错了,不是神搞错了, 我现在说我自己,那其它的人也可以慢慢看。**如果神的审判临到了我们,我们该做什么反应?一定要认定自己没搞对,不要认定自己那一套,自己那一套已经带来很严重的后果**。如果自己还继续坚持自己那一套,那就麻烦大了。弟兄姐妹要知道,其实神的审判临到老以利家已经持续了四十年,老以利做士师也做了四十年。

很多时候我看以色列人打了败仗,教会打了败仗,我们就会这么解释,那么解释。其实只有一种解释,就是不忠心,所以打了败仗。怎么就打了败仗呢?很多人就会说,神啊,你看你的百姓打败仗了多丢人啊!其实不是神丢人,是人丢人,因为不忠心。**神的百姓争战,不是靠刀、靠枪、是靠对神的忠心,是靠着神的同在。建造教会不是为了人,建造教会是为了神,是为了合神的心意**。 大家要开始逐渐明白,建造教会要合神的心意才行。打败仗带来了很多困惑,以色列人打仗,四千人被杀,困惑吗?很困惑。他们认为自己是神的百姓,是神的教会,住在他们里面的比外面的更大,其实神根本就没住在他里面。不忠心的人,鬼不住在他里面就已经感恩戴德了。 直到今天很多传统教会还在传递这个观念,经常能看见打败仗的情况。一会儿这个牧师得了癌症,一会那个牧师又得了癌症,这都是神的审判。原因有很多,其中最重要的一个原因就是不认识神,千万别以为自己认识神。如果你认识神,怎么看不见神与你同在呢?过去是咱们整错了,好在现在还有悔改的机会。如果继续执迷不悟,往错误里狂奔,那就跟老以利的儿子一样,所以这是神的审判。这不是神打了败仗,千万别搞错了,神的百姓打了败仗、教会打了败仗,是自己丢自己的人,神根本就不丢人。

**神的审判不但临到旧约的老以利,神的审判在今天仍然临到神的百姓,神的教会,神从来都没有改变过**。所以要除去我们里面的困惑,比如说这个牧师这么爱神,怎么就得癌症了呢?弟兄姐妹听我一句话,如果又长又久的病,又大又重的灾临到你,那绝对是咒诅。如果不信,你可以仔细去看《申命记》二十八章,神的百姓有很多困惑,就是因为不认识神啊! 我鼓励大家和我一起竭力追求认识神,别以为你已经认识了神,你认识啥呀?直到今天,我认识神只是九牛之一毛,海水之一滴,差老远了。我给大家举个例子,IT这个行业现在多广泛啊,越发展越大,世界上很多知名公司都是跟IT相关的。别人是几十万人在搞,而我们是小猫一两只在搞,我们能知道多少?知道海水之一滴就已经不错了。 今天的知识多,不要觉得认识耶和华的知识拿了一滴就觉得怎么着似的,穷你一生的追求也认识不完。**所以华人命定神学鼓励大家不断地认识神,千万别只认识一点。**某一天看了一个异象、某一天做了一个异梦、某一天汗毛立起来、某一天怎么着了,就觉得自己已经重生得救了,快拉倒吧。我不是打击你的信心,是打击你的无知。**如果咱们里面有任何的困惑,一定是不认识神,要知道神的审判是先从神的百姓开始的。**

好些年前,我坐在台下听台上的牧师讲道,一把鼻涕一把眼泪的讲自己得了多少年的忧郁症,又如何被教会的会友和领袖告上法庭。我坐在下面听着,心里就产生了极大的困惑。我记得上一次查《撒母耳记上》是2013年,从2013年到现在,老以利这件事就深深地印在我的脑海里。当时我在听的时候,很多人都非常同情这个牧师,还要为他祷告。但是像老以利儿子这种人,为他祷告有用吗?没有用。**献祭永远没有用,只有追求忠心才是神的心意。** 这个牧师之所以成为这样,是因为他没有照着神的话去建造教会。看教会谁奉献多就立谁为领袖,神的教会能这么干吗?谁奉献多就立谁为领袖,这不是要命啊!然后他就瞎整,后来他又说,因为他建教会不远的地方有个庙,其实那庙也影响不了他。之所以这样只有一个原因,就是这个地方没有神的同在。有神的同在,还在乎庙干什么呢?神的约柜被运到大衮庙里去了,有的人就开始担心,难道神不能够保护自己吗?我们的困惑太多。**所以说弟兄姐妹可得清醒,不忠心的祭司必被审判**。

有一些牧师是我亲自服侍的,服侍完了以后,我心里真的是非常地难过,因为脑袋里装的很多东西都不是神的话。咱们开始睁开眼睛去看,仔细阅读摩西写的《创世记》、《出埃及记》、《利未记》、《民数记》、《申命记》,很多人会奇怪神为什么要这样做呀?其实神自古以来都是这么干的,你要喜欢的话,做一个不忠心的基督徒试试看。咱们当中有多少弟兄姐妹,直到今天心里仍然带着很强烈的属世界价值体系。 让他改,他就觉得日子不能过了,结果做生意被人整,在商场被打,职场上也被人打。然后就觉得在我里面的神也不大,很困惑!我说那是你自己整的,你不知道吗?昨天我在带祷告的时候,有一个我认识好多年的弟兄,最近破产了,他把这个称为入穷籍。我以前请员工的时候,还挺喜欢挑基督徒,突然有一天,我就不喜欢找基督徒了。大家不要以为我瞎说,请一个不好使,又请一个又不好使,都不好好干活。后来又请了一个,又强化了我这个观念。我就奇怪了,怎么基督徒都这样呢?我就感慨!感谢神,我自己亲自带出来的都挺好。 神的审判临到不忠心的祭司,都有不忠心的理由,他们可能自己都不知道自己不忠心,为什么?因为他里头有他自己的一套观念,这些人都是自以为是到了离谱的地步,不知道自己不忠心,还以为自己很忠心,这是天大的误会啊!我鼓励大家,**看自己看得恰如其分,如果你不太明白恰如其分,就要看自己所当看的。神的审判不会错的,不忠心的祭司有一大堆不忠心的理由,但是他觉得都是合理的**。

你看如果我不忠心,我怎么能做牧师四十年呢?你看神还赐给我一个撒母耳, 你看撒母耳说的话,神都成就啊!你看这话讲的,你觉得神奇吗?把撒母耳摆上来你就忠心了?你干了那么几件事就忠心了?你医治了一个人就忠心了?你释放了一个人就忠心了?**所以不忠心的祭司必被审判,神等候我们悔改多时了。你什么时候悔改,什么时候神撤离祂的审判**。弟兄姐妹要确切的知道,我们悔改,有的时候神不撤离祂的审判,但很多时候,**神不希望我们死,乃是希望我们活啊**! 神派神人来警告老以利,不但派神人警告老以利,也派神人警告他两个儿子。其实他们没少听,听完了,觉得这不是神人,不是神透过神人说的话。所以我们要知道,有时有见证,啥也说明不了!我是不是神人,这不重要。不忠心的祭司,你把约柜抬出来就好使了?老以利和他两个儿子,再加上一个儿媳妇,同日而死啊!祷告也不好使。 记住!基督徒得了病特别难整,祷告一年,祷告两年也看不到果效,反正是很麻烦。有的时候就是咱们当中的弟兄姐妹,祷告好几年的都有。基督徒得了病特别难搞,为啥?神早就在《撒母耳记上》第二章说了,老以利家献祭是不好使的,献个牛,献个羊,都不好使。如果咱们的祷告不好使,跟我没关系,我也不丢人,神也不丢人。

**非利士人向以色列人摆阵。两军交战的时候,以色列人败在非利士人面前。非利士人在战场上杀了他们的军兵约有四千人。百姓回到营里,以色列的长老说:耶和华今日为何使我们败在非利士人面前呢?我们不如将耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来,好在我们中间救我们脱离敌人的手(《撒母耳记上》 4:2-3 )** 你以为神在乎这四千人吗?死就死了,神不大在乎,在旷野里神击杀了六十万以色列人,神都不在乎。百姓回到营里,非常困惑,为何神使我们败在非利士人面前呢?他们以为自己是神的百姓,住在里面的比外面的更大,神比非利士人的更大!但是不知道自己就是神的仇敌,那不麻烦了吗?神不是要对付非利士人,神是要对付以色列人。那些长老也挺浑的,他们跟老以利的两个儿子都差不多,不想认识神,也不认识神,然后充满了困惑。

**于是百姓打发人到示罗,从那里将坐在二基路伯上万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈与神的约柜同来。(《撒母耳记上》4:4)** 耶和华的约柜怎么来的,这里没说。是不是用牛车,或是马车拉来的?也不知道,反正是给整来了,搬运约柜也没照着神的话落实。耶和华的约柜能这么干吗?不能这么干。结果以色列百姓看到神的约柜来了,以为这一下子就要得胜了,这也显出他们的无知。前段时间我讲过,很多人都指望拜大师,一下子就好,我看你就省省吧,这玩意不好使。以色列百姓见约柜来了,大声欢呼,地都震动。非利士人都困惑了,发生什么事了?不是死了四千人吗?是不是为这四千人哀嚎啊?有人说,不是啊,是他们神的约柜来了,结果非利士人吓坏了。 我讲道都引用很多例子,结果大家都把我当成大师了,我不是大师,我连小师都排不上。你不用在那儿呼天喊地要跟我握手,或者让我按手,让自己变聪明,我看你就算了吧,这玩意不好使。我经常参加基督徒的聚会,都是山崩地裂般的呼喊,又吹角、又摇旗呐喊。整完了说,有病的举手!刷刷刷都举起来了,我经常看到这些,让我很诧异。举行这样的大会小会,你以为神会悦纳?**还比不上对神忠心一点更好,这是不认识神。**

结果老以利看约柜被掳去了,心里就为约柜担忧。做不忠心的祭司久了,对神的认识是非常混乱的。混乱到什么程度呢?为神的约柜担忧,你还是担忧一下你的小命吧。你不用担心神的教会,不用担心神的国度,神自有神的国度。你也不用担心神的十字架,也不用担心神的约柜,其实神根本不在乎。神连祂自己的圣殿都拆毁,神连祂的教会都拆毁,神连祂不忠心的祭司都亲自审判,不认识神是很恐怖的。 **他一提神的约柜,以利就从他的位上往后跌倒,在门旁折断颈项而死,因为他年纪老迈,身体沉重。以利作以色列的士师四十年。(《撒母耳记上》4:18)** 老以利为约柜担心,一听神的约柜被掳走,他就在位上往后跌倒,颈项折断而死。恐怖啊!这是为什么呢?他怎么就不为自己的不忠心震惊到这种程度?如果早为自己的不忠心震惊到这种程度,何必到今天看见神的审判临到。无知呀!然后他的儿媳妇讲了两遍无知的语言,神的荣耀离开以色列。这是神的荣耀离开以色列吗?**这是神的荣耀彰显在以色列,神的权柄彰显在以色列当中,神要亲自审判祂不忠心的祭司。什么神的荣耀离开以色列?神的荣耀从来都没有离开,只是这不忠心的祭司必看见神荣耀的审判。**

弟兄姐妹读《圣经》,你可要留意,当摩西建好了耶和华的帐幕,神的荣耀充满在耶和华的帐幕当中,后来发生了一件什么事? **亚伦的儿子拿答、亚比户,各拿自己的香炉,盛上火,加上香,在耶和华面前献上凡火,是耶和华没有吩咐他们的,就有火从耶和华面前出来,把他们烧灭,他们就死在耶和华面前。于是摩西对亚伦说:这是耶和华所说:我在亲近我的人中要显为圣;在众民面前,我要得荣耀。亚伦就默默不言。(《利未记》10:1-3)** 这是神的荣耀。你仔细读《圣经》,神的荣耀要施行祂的审判。所以我们服侍神要胆颤心惊,要带着战兢的心敬畏神,直到做成得救的功夫。 **她给孩子起名叫以迦博,说:荣耀离开以色列了!这是因神的约柜被掳去,又因她公公和丈夫都死了。她又说:荣耀离开以色列,因为神的约柜被掳去了。(《撒母耳记上》4:21-22)** 老以利的儿媳妇说,神啊,怎么会有这样的事发生?我跟你讲,很多牧师家里发生这样的事之后都说,神啊,怎么会有这样的事发生?老以利的儿媳妇心里想,神啊,我丈夫,我老公公不是都尽心尽意尽力服侍你吗?怎么就这样死了?不这样死还怎么死?她还以为他们都是尽心服侍神,其实这是神的审判,这是人的无知。人以为在那里随便弄一弄,就是侍奉神啊?所以神的百姓因无知而灭亡!神的祭司因无知而灭亡!神祭司的儿媳妇因无知而灭亡!什么叫神的荣耀离开以色列,神的荣耀从来都没有离开!今天就把这错误的认识全部除掉,如果你不害怕神,我都替你害怕神。

如果我们真的知道什么东西都掌管在神的手里,神的百姓争战不靠刀,不靠车,不靠马,不靠武器,靠的是神的同在的话,我们侍奉神就要带着战兢的心。基督徒要确切地知道,**神的百姓争战得胜是靠神的同在**。你真的靠神的同在吗?如果你靠神的同在,你就会建立神荣耀的教会,参与进经营神的教会当中,与神同工。你说我不知道怎么参与呀?怎么就不知道呢? 最小的你就可以服侍,今天你服侍过谁?夸夸其谈,你有一套,你怎么服侍的?你服侍的有果效没有? 别说我没有安排你服侍,你都没有跟人家去学,我怎么安排呀?能不能跟你的小牧者学呀?你什么时候有服侍的心啊?咱们弟兄姐妹有没有那颗服侍的心?我很感慨,今天建立荣耀的教会,你真的有命定的话,你到底做了啥?**教会这地方不是讲道的地方,教会这地方也不是查经的地方,教会这地方是牧养的地方**。 但是牧养必须靠神的话。如果咱们大家都养成靠嘴唇来服侍,那没啥用。你真的会服侍吗?如果不会服侍,你真的愿意受训吗?不要上来就说,老师我都没有人服侍。为啥呀?给你人让你服侍,我看你咋服侍呀?神的百姓争战得胜是靠神的同在!《创世记》里的约瑟与神同在,到了埃及仍然有神同在。奇妙啊!因为他骨子里对神有忠心。

咱们当中有的人,我都不知道该说深还是说浅。说深了,你受伤,跟我识别善恶;说浅了吧,不管用。就是我讲完了查经,还在后面跟我较劲,当然也有不较劲的。我就感慨,人家约瑟被卖到埃及都不识别善恶,有人要造就你一把,你还识别善恶,不奇怪吗?当然我这是发发牢骚。教会也是如此,不用发明一大堆的方法,神就是看你是否有这个命定。**忠心跟命定紧密连在一起**,所以在《出埃及记》里,波提乏家里还拜偶像,也影响不了神与约瑟同在。 **一个有命定的人,是紧紧跟随神,渴望被神使用的人,什么偶像不偶像的都没关系**。有一次我服侍人,我要把他们家的偶像丢掉。结果当事人说,老师,能不能别丢?我说,为啥呢?他说,能不能帮我给送到庙里去。然后我把东西送到庙里去了,啥问题也没有。弟兄姐妹要开始得着华人命定神学的逻辑体系,这个逻辑体系就是如果你是一个有命定的人,如果你像约瑟,啥问题也没有。如果你像雅各在他舅舅拉班家,有啥问题?没啥问题,别整一大堆的方法。 要知道神考验人啊!别因为有一件事,就是整了一个小撒母耳,就证明自己忠心了,没法证明。所以我说一个有命定的人才能够忠心!约瑟到波提乏家里,啥问题也没有。**神考验人,使人跌倒,也使人兴起。你千万不要成为跌倒的人。神是跌人的磐石,要做一个认识神的人,得着命定,成为被神兴起使用的人**。咱们稍微说一说,过去这一个礼拜你都干了啥?真的对神有忠心吗?过去一个月呢?过去半年呢?过去一年呢?

对神有忠心的人,一定按着耶稣基督的教导去行,一定以此为我们的生命,我们为此而活,也为此而死,所有的东西都拦不住。很多人不是今天有这个原因,就是明天有那个原因,总是有原因,就是不知道如何做一个忠心的百姓。以色列人把这个约柜看得很重要,当然忠心的祭司也要把约柜看得重要。但是要看神比约柜还重要,约柜不过是个箱子。**把跟神立的约看得重要,叫忠心**。对神的话不增添也不删减,建立一套完整的神学体系,然后透过这个世代观看神的作为,你会发现你里面一点困惑也没有。 这个是神的审判!那个也是神的审判!横下一条心,神啊,我要在你面前存敬畏的心!做一个忠心的祭司!不管有一些话,你们喜欢听,还是不喜欢听,只要对你们有益处我就讲。就算是冒犯你们冒犯到走,离开就离开,我仍然要做一个忠心的祭司。不管得时不得时,我都要服侍,只要还有一口气在,这就是我服侍的风格。 我很感慨,效法我的人都看到了服侍的果效,不效法的人看不到服侍的果效。我让你效法我,不是让你们说一句大话。其实有一段时间我走偏了,神就管教我,我就好好地悔改。我身上被神管教的痕迹太多了,明明可见。但是不能够成为我服侍神,做神忠心祭司的拦阻。虽然我身上有很多问题,很多缺点,但是我对神有忠心。大家开始揣摩,琢磨如何成为一个有忠心的人?可以去看,可以去了解,抓住神的心意。 《撒母耳记上》第四章神的心意是啥?**神的心意仍然是要我们做一个忠心的祭司**!有的时候我生病也在服侍。有人问我不照顾自己吗?服侍到死拉倒。我也会生病,我也不是圣洁的典范,但绝对是一个忠心祭司的榜样,这也是我追求的目标。不管怎么样都要敬畏神! 愿神祝福大家!
