1. Introduction
The song A Little Bird reflects my state when I did not know God. When I came to Singapore, I realised that destiny was not in my own hands. I began to doubt whether there was any meaning in life, and whether living another day meant suffering another day of torment.
I began to seek whether there was a God in this world. I wanted to transform from a sparrow into an eagle. Eventually, I walked into a church. I desperately read the Bible, wanting to know what salvation truly was. I shared my difficulties with Christians, and they responded with one sentence: God will change your state. In a state of doubt, I experienced God's transformation.
2. Scripture
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings. (Deuteronomy 32:11 KJV)
I hold on tightly to God. We experience God in times of trouble. We know that God is the one who makes us live with incomparable glory. Someone had an illness and sought treatment everywhere without success. Finally, God healed them, but they later abandoned God. A short-sighted person is a pitiful person. Now, brothers and sisters may encounter various difficulties. This is because God is training us, training us to become eagles tempered in the storm. We must dedicate our entire lives to God.
4. How Does an Eagle Transform?
The eaglets expose their thorns. The eagle nests on cliffs, looking down into the abyss. These eaglets will find that it is uncomfortable in the grassy nest and will jump out to stand by the cliff, looking down and feeling their pores stand on end. Then the eagle flaps its wings there, and the eaglets are thrown down. The eaglets try to flap their wings to avoid falling to their deaths. The eaglet thinks to itself that it is doomed, but then the eagle saves the eaglet again. The eaglet learns that it does not know how to fly, but its mother is training it how to fly.
The second time, the eaglet still feels scared when it looks down, and the eagle throws the eaglet down again. This time, the eaglet knows that it will not die for sure. This time, the eaglet jumps down on its own, and as it is about to fall, the eagle saves it back to the cliff. After several times, the eaglet is trained into an eagle. It is like pushing the eaglet off a cliff to face various difficulties. Many people find it cruel. But this is a method of training, and the eaglet will find ways to avoid falling.
How are eagles trained? Who is God talking about as being like an eagle? It is Jacob, Joseph, and David. If a person has not experienced the death of Jesus Christ, they cannot experience the life of Jesus Christ. If you often experience the death of Jesus Christ, then you will often experience the life of Jesus Christ.
There was a child who fell into the river, and no one dared to go down to save him. A pastor pushed a person into the river, and that person said, Since I'm already down here, I might as well save the child. As a result, the child was saved. Reporters came forward and asked, Who gave you the courage to go down and save the child? He said, It was the one who pushed me into the river.
Recently, I have been writing the 301 course. God, I am pondering how to train people. The key is to push them off the cliff. It turns out that I was not born to preach, nor was I born to build a glorious church. Encouraging brothers and sisters to stand up and preach is indeed difficult. Whenever it is a few hours before, and my sermon draft is still only a few lines, I seek God. When I stand on the pulpit, I enjoy listening to myself preach. God is truly faithful; God has not forsaken me in any difficulty.
When writing the 201 course, I almost drove myself to become obsessive-compulsive. I did it once and was not satisfied, so I started over. Finally, I completed writing this topic. Someone asked me how eagles are trained, how to learn to swim, how eaglets become eagles—again and again jumping off the cliff, again and again escaping death in the cliff, practicing oneself and practicing faith in training.
5. Do Not Be Afraid, Do Not Be Dismayed, God Is Training You.
I was not born to build churches, not born to preach. If one yearns to become a disciple of God, God will train you to become a divine soldier of the kingdom of God, to become the Abraham and Jacob of this era. If one has Mingding Destiny, one will have pursuit and will begin to desire to serve. You can be afraid, but when you jump off the cliff, you begin to grow, begin to train and shape yourself into an eagle.
When we do healing and deliverance, we often encounter new situations, often encounter the manifestation of demons. You can be afraid, but after being afraid, you find that you are still alive, which is the best practice of faith.
Recently, I discovered that a very popular word is matchmaking. If a person does not have Mingding Destiny and pursues beautiful love, it will bring many curses from matchmaking. Today, we have Mingding Destiny and begin to choose to be eagles, not sparrows or insects. If you are Jacob, God will prepare eagle-like training for you, experiencing God's mighty power, soaring on wings like eagles.
If you are Jacob, God will prepare eagle-like training for you. Jacob is willing to pay any price for Mingding Destiny. A person must understand how to live and understand the Mingding Destiny of living when encountering disasters.
6. Train Your Courage, Train Your Confidence.
As we experience God time and again, do we still fear? Like Israel in the wilderness, even after God provided water, they still complained repeatedly. Consequently, they could not become eagles. Start training your courage, like a fledgling jumping out of the nest. It’s alright; God will catch you. Begin to serve, doing things you've never done before. God is doing new things. Each experience is a growth, entering into the unknown, training your courage and confidence. If you desire to become an eagle, you must begin to experience soaring amidst the storms. That is your faith. God values your faith; you will absolutely not be disappointed. In my past ministry, I often felt afraid, but faith sustained my courage. With faith, you can enter the unknown and see God's miraculous works, doing new things, training courage. This is the kind of person God desires. If you want to be a sparrow, remain where you are. If you want to be an eagle, train your courage in small things. When I share my past experiences with colleagues, I seem to return to that previous state, which is not good. However, from that state, I trained my courage and confidence. A preacher needs courage; a businessman needs courage. Without courage, nothing can move forward. When an eagle sees its prey, it locks on with confident wings and begins to snatch up snakes and mice to eat. The process of an eagle catching a venomous snake is a risk, and it could be poisoned. But each time, the eagle swoops down, targeting the snake's vital point, seizing it tightly, flying back into the air, tearing the snake apart, and feeding it to its eaglets.
7. Train the Eyes of Faith.
In difficult and hopeless situations, what do you see? See God's training plan. God is training you. Jacob went to his uncle Laban's house, and Laban changed his wages ten times, making him work for free for fourteen years. But Jacob saw God's plan. He knew that God would be with him, and God blessed Laban because of Jacob. Do we see God's plan in training you? If you cannot see it, you cannot become an eagle. Among the four living creatures is the eagle. Develop eagle-like vision, seeing your future from high above, seeing how God trains you. A person with an eagle's character has a remarkable life. The core of that character is faith, trusting in God.
God does not want sparrows; He wants eagles. Ezekiel and Isaiah both describe the four living creatures. Why are there no sparrows before God's throne? Because God wants only the honorable images of eagles, lions, and men. Today, train yourself to have the vision of an eagle. If a person has the character of an eagle, their life will be truly remarkable.
When an eagle grows old, living for forty years, it painstakingly plucks out its feathers and breaks off its beak, so that new feathers and a new beak will grow.
Recently, I have been ministering to some new leaders, and they sometimes say, I am terrible; I cannot do it. I used to be like that too, but I said to God, I do not want to be a sparrow; I want to be an eagle. God added many things to me. Along the way, I shed many tears, often in despair. But in despair, fear, and panic, through faith, I possess the future.
God wants to make you tread on the high places of the earth. Being a Christian should not mean being a sparrow or an insect-like Christian, but rather an eagle-like Christian, like Jacob.
In society, there are different classes. There is a book called Born Poor. The world will always have the poor. In the dark old society, the proletariat of the whole world united to overthrow the capitalist class, but even after the overthrow, there were still poor people. Poverty is because their vision is like that of a sparrow. If you are a mediocre Christian or a mediocre engineer, you are like an insect or a sparrow. If you are a Christian, be a top-tier Christian. Constantly cultivate character and faith. Do not just watch others do it; do it yourself, and you will grow. Have a spirit of adventure.
Eagles are trained. Your Mingding Destiny and your trust in God will make you an eagle. Completely reject the mentality of a sparrow. A sparrow cannot know the ambition of a swan. The vision of Chen Sheng and Wu Guang enabled them to be kings for a time. Our God is the God who causes us to soar on wings like eagles into our Mingding Destiny.
We often feel tired and weary. But nothing can stop us from entering into our Mingding Destiny. Re-energize the faith within us to run the heavenly race. Let us be able to soar on wings like eagles. Amen!
