Before we delve into Revelation chapter 10, I pose a few questions: Do you aspire to live like a beast? Are you aware that the mysteries of God will be fulfilled when the last trumpet sounds? Do you seek to understand these divine mysteries? Are you cognisant that our God is perpetually engaged in the work of revelation?
He who has ears, let him hear, for the divine revelation unfolds layer by layer. Many Christians believe that God ceased his work of revelation after the Book of Revelation. However, this is not the case. Through Rick Joyner's The Final Quest, we understand that Christians must never succumb to religious stagnation. We must remain aware that God is continually revealing Himself to us, and strive to be victorious, Mingding Destiny Christians.
The mysteries of God are to be fulfilled, gaining glory in the church, in Jesus Christ, with the church and Jesus wholly united as one. That is the mystery of the victorious church! Let us no longer live merely for the sake of living. Instead, let us contemplate God's revelations to us. We live for the Word of God, no longer for the flesh, using God’s Word to combat our carnal, beast-like deeds, for the Word of God is sweet as honey in our mouths.
Upon reading Revelation chapter 10, you shall understand what it means to live like a beast. You shall grasp the mysteries of God, and recognise that God is ceaselessly at work revealing, urging us to rise up and lead God’s people into His kingdom!
God's Revelation Unfolds Layer by Layer
Revelation chapter 10 speaks of how, even after the fulfilment of the Gospel's mysteries, God continues to speak prophecies to the world, proclaiming judgment. Many Christians assume that after the completion of the Bible, God ceased to speak, that there would be no further revelations. Yet, in truth, God continues His work of revelation to this day.
Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he had cried out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, 'Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.' (Revelation 10:1-4)
The scripture here says, Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down. God did not allow John to record these words, reserving them for revelation in the end times. God revealed Himself in the time of Moses, and 1500 years later, He revealed the Book of Revelation to John. From Genesis to Revelation, God has continuously spoken through prophets. Does God cease to speak after the completion of Revelation? The answer is a resounding no.
The Faith of Jesus Christ is a Faith of Revelation
To this day, God continues His work of revelation, meaning that our faith in Jesus Christ is a faith of revelation. From Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, to David, Elisha, Elijah, and then to the Apostles Paul, John, and Peter, God has been perpetually engaged in the work of revelation. Seal up what the seven thunders have said. This signifies the concept of a seal upon God’s end-time revelations, reserved for future disclosure. In this generation, God is performing new works of revelation. In the process of healing the sick and casting out demons, we discover that God is revealing new things. When we confront the old horse, the old horse says, You are always doing new things. This new thing is the revelation of God’s Spirit, which we must not stiffen our necks and reject. We must accept God’s new revelatory work.
Rick Joyner wrote many books, one being The Final Quest, in which he chronicled many visions. Praise God! He wrote of many new revelations that God would perform in this generation. Years ago, I encountered a great challenge on my ministry path, a challenge of consistently losing battles against demons. Not that I couldn't cast them out, or that the sick couldn't be healed, but I was unable to advance in the realm of discerning good and evil.
I was attempting to combat the discerning of good and evil with the same methods, shooting arrows of truth, resulting in the injury of many. The situation was taxing. I kneeled and prayed, God instructed me to read Rick Joyner's The Final Quest. I read it many times, but did not grasp its meaning. When God revealed to me to read it again, I understood that the key to the battle lay not in the fighting itself, but in elevating the height of one's spiritual life. To increase one's spiritual life and meanwhile battle; to continuously ascend the mountain of the Lord, to enter the temple of the God of Jacob, to constantly climb in the spiritual realm, to climb in God’s revelation, and the power to battle will continuously increase.
Rick Joyner’s The Final Quest is truly remarkable, a fresh revelation from God in this generation. God continues to work in our midst. Earlier, in the days of Daniel, much revelation could not be written down, to be revealed only in the end times. As Christians, we must never succumb to religious stagnation. We must know that God will continually reveal, and we must thoroughly combat the wicked habit of believing that God completed the Bible and then sealed His lips. For God has never ceased to reveal.
To Be a Victorious, Mingding Destiny Christian
Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Has God finished speaking today? God has not finished speaking. Our brothers and sisters must begin to shoulder the Mingding Destiny of prophets in this generation, and obtain fresh revelations from God. The new revelation God is revealing to us today is Mingding Destiny theology. I often hear Christians discuss when they were saved, when they were reborn. They seem to believe that once saved, always saved, which is very foolish.
Today, I wish to convey a new concept: God has given us a fresh revelation in this generation, which is that Christians should continuously fight and win throughout their lives, emulating the Lord Jesus and obtaining Mingding Destiny.
Is a Christian without Mingding Destiny truly a Christian? I, myself, hold doubts. A Christian must be like Jesus, and if a Christian is not like Jesus but like the devil, then whether he is saved or not remains uncertain. Whether a Christian is saved is not the main point, the key is whether he is like Jesus.
If you do not do what Jesus did, but instead do a lot of what Jesus did not do, if Jesus said, Do not love the world or the things of the world, but you specially love the world, then what is the use of being baptised? We are baptised into the death of Jesus Christ, that is, we die and rise again with Jesus. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. This is what God said long ago in the Bible. Why do we say every word that comes from the mouth of God? Because it is a complete system.
Today, God is using our brothers and sisters to declare new revelations and new prophecies to this generation. The final verse of Revelation says that the angel said to me: You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings. (Revelation 10:11). Old John, having received so many revelations, must continue to prophesy, for this era needs prophets. The Church is built on the foundation of apostles and prophets, meaning that the Church cannot function without God’s revelation and words. The Church must continually obtain fresh revelations from God, and the Church must continuously pray to receive new things. This is God’s intention.
The Fulfillment of God's Mysteries at the Sound of the Last Trumpet
But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets. (Revelation 10:7)
The angel's little scroll is opened. In Revelation chapter 4, John saw that the scroll in the angel’s hand could not be opened or viewed by anyone, because no one was worthy to open or view it. By chapter 10, the scroll has been opened, containing revelations about the Church, that is, the mysteries of God. As the scroll unfolds, human history, and Church history continuously advance. After it is opened, the mysteries of God shall be fulfilled. What are these mysteries?
and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Ephesians 3:9-11)
These mysteries refer to God gaining glory in the Church, in Jesus Christ, with the Church and Jesus wholly united as one. The mystery is the Church. As a result, the history of the Church unfolds, and is initiated. This signifies what we in China call the unity of heaven and man, where God and man enter into a state of unity. When will this mystery be fulfilled? At the sounding of the seventh trumpet.
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. (1 Corinthians 15:52-58)
Praise God! God allows us to triumph through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Brothers and sisters, know that when the last trumpet sounds, in an instant, the mysteries of God shall be fulfilled. The mysteries of God shall be fulfilled, and the first trumpet shall sound. You shall discover that what John wrote and what Paul wrote are in complete agreement. Today, brothers and sisters must know that we have entered the era of the sounding of trumpets. At the sounding of this last trumpet, all of God’s mysteries shall be fulfilled.
A few days ago, a sister kept hearing the sound of a trumpet while driving. She thought her car was broken. When she returned home, she searched online and many said they had heard the sound of a trumpet in the sky. If you are overseas, search online for the sound of a trumpet, and you will find many people who have recorded the sound of a trumpet coming from the sky with their mobile phones.
Indeed, throughout history, there have been many such events, but today, people frequently hear the sound of trumpets coming from the sky. Jesus also spoke of trumpets sounding, and the dead being resurrected, meaning that after the sounding of the last trumpet, as spoken of in Revelation, we will see the Church being raptured.
Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come. And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, both small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail. (Revelation 11:15-19)
Living is a Spiritual Matter
Today, after reading what Old John wrote in Revelation about the crucial moment—the rapture of the church after the seventh trumpet sounds; the subsequent verses in Revelation, I believe, are no longer of great concern to me. The seven bowls are not my concern. My longing is for the rapture, or to be resurrected from the dead, or, while still alive, to be caught up in the air to meet the Lord. This is what Christians throughout the ages have hoped for.
If a person lives in this world without such hope, merely desiring to live a little better, they are more pitiable than the worldly and no different from unbelievers. Why? Because if a person lives merely to live, and must still die, it becomes utterly tragic.
Brothers and sisters, you must know that our Lord Jesus has risen from the dead! Our Lord Jesus' resurrection proves that living is a spiritual matter. If living were not a spiritual matter, but a worldly one, there would be no resurrection from the dead. The Lord Jesus' resurrection demonstrates to us that living is a spiritual matter.
Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. (Luke 4:4).
Ecclesiastes says it well, and one day I may share on this topic: For what happens to the children of man happens to the beasts. As one dies, so dies the other. Man's toil on earth is no different from that of beasts. But who are those unlike beasts? They are those who do not belong to this world, who do not live merely to live. For those who live merely to live are like beasts.
Recently, I watched a video that was quite interesting: two bulls, a young one and an old one. The young bull challenged the old bull, and the two bulls butted heads repeatedly, persisting for a long time without either gaining an advantage. I thought, what are these two bulls doing? Exerting themselves so strenuously on something meaningless. But the two bulls believed what they were doing was very meaningful, though to us, it seemed to have no meaning at all.
If people are like beasts, wrangling, striving, and toiling for worldly things, it is truly meaningless. I see some business people, constantly hustling, living in a daze, always just trying to make money. What is this for? If the purpose of living is merely to live, it is truly a pathetic thing.
If a person lives for God's word, God will surely help us solve these problems. If a person lives trusting in God, they will surely live well. If a person lives by their own sword and hands, they live directly under God's curse and cannot live well. People just do not see it clearly, and I think I did not see it clearly before either. Although I did not believe in the Lord before, I saw one thing clearly: people lived like beasts. At that time, I felt that life was meaningless. People live and then die, dogs live and then die, pigs live and then die, what is the point? People live no differently from beasts.
But we are different today, because we know that it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. Therefore, whether the flesh lives or not is unimportant; I no longer live for the flesh, but for the spirit. Let my spirit be in God's will, able to enter into God's mysteries. When God's mysteries are fulfilled, we will all become part of Jesus Christ, become the body of Jesus Christ. Brothers and sisters, know that the sounding of the last trumpet, this revelation, has a profound impact on our lives.
Whether you buy real estate or not, buy stocks or not, invest or not, marry or not, if you live in God's Mingding Destiny, you will possess the likeness of Jesus Christ, and in a moment, at the last trumpet, you will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air; from then on, you will live with the Lord Jesus forever and ever. The effects of your labor on earth will follow you forever and ever. If you can be with the Lord forever, it is completely different from being a beast. Beasts have no eternity; only people enter into eternal life and can live forever and ever. We no longer live to live, but to live like God.
Even After the Fulfillment of the Gospel, God Will Still Judge This World
Then the angel said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings.” (Revelation 10:11)
God, through Old John, wrote Revelation to tell us that God will judge this world. It is very sad if people live only to live; in their old age, they will suffer from dementia and then just wait to die. God will judge this world. When the last trumpet sounds, we Christians who belong to God will be raptured, then you will probably only have the choice of martyrdom to still have the opportunity to be with the Lord. So no matter what, people must restore Mingding Destiny and live for God!
Use God's Word to Deal with the Deeds of the Flesh
So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.” (Revelation 10:9)
Our mouth, eyes, and ears are spiritual organs, while the stomach is a physical organ. When we eat the word of God, the revelation of God, our spiritual organs will rejoice and be sweet, while our physical organs will be bitter. Paul's epistles also speak of those who live only for their bellies, whose end is destruction. Therefore, we must put to death the evil deeds of our flesh throughout our lives, and the bitterness within us will disappear.
If we live in this world only for our bellies, we are like beasts. If we do not put to death the evil deeds of our bodies, we will feel bitter when we eat the word of God. Today, many people in this world live only to make money, and make money only to live, entering a vicious cycle, like a mouse biting its own tail, constantly looping negatively, which is very tiring.
So today, we must use God's word to deal with the evil deeds of the flesh, and then you will eat the word of God, and your physical organs will become comfortable and happy. A person's life should understand how to use spiritual organs and also understand how to put to death physical organs. This is a lifelong lesson for us.
Worldly people find it hard to understand how Christians can fast and pray without eating. But in fact, Christians often fast and pray, and their bodies become healthier. Worldly people think not eating is unacceptable, which is the logic of beasts. But spiritual people think not eating the word of God is unacceptable, because man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. When we eat the word of God, eat the revelation of God, we can prophesy to many peoples, nations, languages, and explain the future clearly. When we act according to the words of the Bible, no longer living for ourselves, when someone takes advantage of us, we can not care, because this world is passing away. Jesus Christ lives within us, and we only care about eternal things, only care about what Jesus Christ cares about.
Conclusion
Today, every Christian must rise up, let those who are captive be released, those who are imprisoned be freed from the dungeon, and bring the people of God into the kingdom of God. So today we must rise up to do the work of healing and deliverance. The work of healing and deliverance is to take people's thoughts captive and bring them back to the Lord Jesus Christ, and then make them part of the kingdom of God. This is such a wonderful Mingding Destiny, so we live out the meaning that God wants us to live.
Know that the word of God, the revelation of God, and the mysteries of God must be fulfilled, and also know that those who are unwilling to enter the kingdom of God will be judged by God, like garbage thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur.
God will judge this world, this is the truth that Revelation wants to tell us. From now on, fear God. The Bible tells us to fear His glorious and awesome name. Not one word spoken by God will fail; everything will be accomplished!
May God bless everyone!
