Introduction

Today, the topic we are sharing is: The Faith of a Mustard Seed, which is taken from Matthew chapter 17. A father brought a child who suffered from epilepsy, often thrown into fire and water by demons, who wanted to kill the child. As a result, the disciples argued about why the child could not be healed. They were perplexed as to why this demon could not be cast out, while other demons had been. Just then, Jesus came down from the mountain with John, Peter, and another apostle. Jesus already had a glorious image, and He also saw the other disciples arguing about why the demon could not be cast out. I suspect the disciples were arguing about whether there was an ancestral curse on the child. I believe our brothers and sisters in the church may also fall into such arguments. They argued for a long time, and then Jesus asked them what they were debating.

Later, Jesus said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long am I to be with you? Afterwards, Jesus went in and commanded the demon to come out, and the child was released. Then the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast out the demon. Jesus said, If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. So the topic today is taken from this scripture.

The Seed is the Most Wonderful Creation

Why is the seed God's most wonderful creation? If God had initially created bread, you would always depend on God to create bread. If God did not create bread today, people would starve to death tomorrow. But what God created was the seed. The seed is the most wonderful creation; the seed is alive! When a seed is sown, one hundred seeds will be harvested the following year. If one hundred seeds are sown again, ten thousand seeds will be harvested. If ten thousand seeds are sown again, one million seeds will be harvested.

I think as long as a person has seeds, many problems can be solved. Today, brothers and sisters, must know that having seeds of blessing can solve problems. Why don't we have blessings today? Because we don't have seeds. Therefore, the seed is the most wonderful creation. Someone found a pack of seeds in the tomb of the pharaoh three thousand years ago. As a result, crops grew after they were planted, which is simply amazing. Our WH sister works at Huaxia Gene, and the biggest business of this company is producing seeds. Any business, the business of producing seeds is a big business. The church is the same; it is the business of sowing seeds of blessing. So today, I share with you the faith of a mustard seed. In fact, no matter how small a mustard seed is, if it is a seed, even smaller than a mustard seed, if it is alive, there is hope. Therefore, we must have seeds of blessing sown within us.

So, the testimony of the building donation that everyone just heard, in fact, one thousand RMB is a very large number for this sister. One thousand RMB is not a small amount, but she donated it. She sowed the seed, how can there be no harvest? There will definitely be a harvest! That is to say, today, brothers and sisters must begin to understand one thing: the seed is crucial. Whether there is hope depends on whether you have seeds in your hand and land to sow the seeds. If you have seeds in your hand that can be sown, this is God's most wonderful creation. Today, if you are living a poor life, what you need are seeds of blessing, and then you need a blessed land. The kingdom of God is that land. God gives you the seeds, and you sow them. After sowing, there will definitely be a harvest of thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and a hundredfold. It is difficult for you not to be blessed among us, because the kingdom of God is among us.

Living Faith and Seeds of Blessing

What does the faith of a mustard seed mean? The faith of a mustard seed is living faith. You must have a living faith, not a dead faith. If you plant a grain of cooked rice in the ground, nothing will grow, even though it is rice. If you sow a grain of rice, it will definitely grow rice. If wheat is sown, it will definitely grow wheat. The reason why people's lives are not good is because they don't know how to sow seeds, and everything they do is dead. Why does a person turn ten RMB into nine RMB, and after donating one RMB, the remaining nine RMB will be more than ten RMB? Because the nine RMB is alive, and one RMB becomes a seed and is sown, and people will be blessed. Our church is a church that strives to promote tithes. You should not see discussions about offerings in other churches.

We constantly encourage everyone to donate money, donate time, and even your own life, for the purpose of letting you sow seeds. You sow seeds in the kingdom of God, which is God's most wonderful creation. So today, if a person wants to live well, there is only one way, which is to sow seeds of blessing. Sowing seeds of blessing is extraordinary. If a person does not have blessings, it will be fatal. I want to share a very important concept with everyone today. What is this important concept? You can choose a church, but this church must be able to release God's blessing. If a pastor tells you that offerings are voluntary, then do as you wish, but this is not the word of God. You must choose a church that does not compromise on the word of God. If it does not compromise on the word of God, this church will definitely be able to release God's blessing.

Today, our brothers and sisters must know that when we release God's blessing, every one of our brothers and sisters will live prosperously. Our church will absolutely not create a group of brothers and sisters to become social unrest. We will become a stabilizing factor in society. If everyone is blessed, will they still make trouble? If someone among us is wronged, asking me whether to petition, my suggestion is not to petition. I think many governments will like me very much, because I do not advocate petitions. What is the reason why people are wronged? Because they lived in curses in the past, so those bad things will happen to us. Today, we must learn to enter into blessings, which can solve many problems, and then become a stabilizing factor in society. Why do people not live well? It is because they do not have seeds of blessing.

When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, kneeling before him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water. And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not heal him.” And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” “But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:14-21)

Living Faith and Unconditional Belief

In this passage, my favorite sentence is: And nothing will be impossible for you. Many people read this sentence and tell me not to be so absolute. How can there be something impossible to do? Is it okay if one thing cannot be done occasionally? I like the truth of God because of this, because God said: there is nothing impossible. This sentence is great. God says so, we believe so, and there is nothing impossible. I think, what grace and promise this is! Today, if you read such words, and you pray for someone with epilepsy, what are you thinking in your heart? If you think that nothing is impossible, that I pray for him, he will be healed, he must be healed. Because of such words, I have tried it again and again, and there is nothing that cannot be healed.

Prayer

If we pray for someone saying, Is it okay if one thing cannot be done occasionally? that person may not be healed, because it is difficult for him to believe it. Today, we must believe that when we truly believe, things will be accomplished. Everyone, follow me to pray. I say a sentence, and everyone follows me to say a sentence: In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that if I have the faith of a mustard seed, there is nothing impossible for me. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ that as long as I believe, it will be accomplished, because God will accomplish it for me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I reject all doubts. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ that I must have the faith of a mustard seed, and I must have living faith within me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I reject all doubts, and I pray in the name of Jesus.

Why the Faith of a Mustard Seed?

Why did Jesus say the faith of a mustard seed? Why did Jesus not say the faith of a bun, or the faith of rice? We Northeasterners like to eat buns very much. The buns are very big. I eat buns every day these days. Why is it not the faith of millet porridge made from mustard seeds, but the faith of mustard seeds? Because mustard seeds are alive. If you cook mustard seeds and then plant them, nothing will grow. Mustard seeds are alive. The faith within you must be alive. Because mustard seeds are the smallest of hundreds of kinds of seeds, no matter how small they are, they must be alive. Because many people's faith is dead, today you need to know what kind of faith is alive and what kind of faith is dead. Then you will know that the difference between people lies in whether their faith is alive or dead.

The faith within me is not great, but it is alive, it is the faith of a mustard seed. What is called alive, and what is called dead? All unconditional faith is alive. Unconditional faith will not be affected by various factors, but simply believes. If someone asks me why I believe, I like to believe, I am willing to believe, I just believe. What if I believe? I just believe, I just believe this way. All those who have been healed by my hands, my prayers, are all because I believe this way. Because I believe this way, because I believe it is the word of God. The word of God says so, and I believe so, I have no conditions. I will not use scientific arguments, because I never use these conditions to argue. Although my faith is unconditional, it is alive. Today, brothers and sisters, if you believe, there is nothing that cannot be done.

Unconditional Faith and the Manifestation of Miracles

Some people see us praying for people, or doing other things, and they will think if it is due to some reason. In fact, there is no reason at all, it is because they believe in the word of God. Because the word of God says that as long as you have the faith of a mustard seed, command this mountain to move into the sea, and it will move into the sea. So today, whether our brothers and sisters can restore the unconditional faith within you is the key. I think maybe you have just believed in the Lord, and you still have some doubts. For example, if I have just believed in the Lord, can I do healing and deliverance? Yes, but you must have unconditional faith within you.

In the Book of Joshua, there is a dialogue where Joshua said, You Israelites cannot serve the Lord God. As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord God, you cannot serve the Lord God. The Israelites said, No, we must serve the Lord God too. Joshua said, No, you cannot serve Him. Originally, I did not understand, and always thought Joshua was too arrogant. Later, I carefully read the preceding and following scriptures and found that the Israelites said this: Because the Lord led us out of Egypt, led us through the Red Sea, because the Lord God fed us in the wilderness, so we serve Him. If today you are also like this, Because the Lord God healed me, so I serve His words, you cannot serve him. So for a while, HF told me, Pastor, I am always grateful.

He was very grateful before he served full-time, grateful to serve God. At that time, I told him, HF, you cannot serve Him. Because grateful service, cannot serve Him. Only because He is God, so I serve Him. So today, brothers and sisters must know that He is God, we live to serve Him, and live to worship God. Some people say that these words are too difficult to understand, and I think they are a bit absurd. If I live to serve Him, and serve Him, it is too absurd. Then they think it is better to do my work well, make my money well, and eat and drink well. Today, our brothers and sisters need to begin to understand that if there are conditions for serving God, you cannot serve Him. Only under unconditional circumstances can you serve Him. Why? The reason is very simple, your faith is living faith, and you can perform miracles and experience God's grace.

Why can't many speculative people take this road? Because they speculate, they don't believe. If you feel dizzy after reading it, and you start to believe in the Lord with me today, you will find that everything becomes very simple. Unconditional faith manifests miraculously. So today, brothers and sisters, do not be afraid. As long as you have unconditional faith within you, you can serve God, and miracles can be manifested through you. A three-year-old child has unconditional faith and is easier than a thirty-year-old or fifty-year-old person with unconditional faith, because a three-year-old child is learning unconditional faith, and the process of growing up is also unconditional faith. Unconditional faith is true faith, which is the faith of a mustard seed.

Unconditional Faith and God's Omnipotence

Conditional faith will find many reasons, such as believing that one's healing is due to this reason or that reason. You must learn unconditional faith. Any conditional faith is called discerning good and evil, and discerning good and evil is death. Therefore, the faith and the discerning of good and evil that we talk about in the church are all things that happen when people are alive. Unconditional faith is because He is God, and our God is an almighty God. Today, start thinking like this with me: I have a God, before the creation of the world, the universe and all things are in His hands, and hundreds of millions of solar systems in the Milky Way are in His hands. My God can manage hundreds of millions of galaxies, how powerful is God's ability. Don't doubt God. Such a great God, isn't it easy to solve small things in your life? Sometimes I want to emphasize small things, so I say trivial things, which are extremely small things.

Today, why can't people experience God? The reason is simple, it is because you are too complicated. You regard yourself as the standard of the world. What you cannot do, others cannot do either. This is extremely foolish. There are mountains beyond mountains, heavens beyond heavens, and people beyond people. Never get it wrong. What you cannot do does not mean that others cannot do it. What you cannot do, our God can actually do, because He is God. So He said that there is nothing that cannot be done, which is too important. Our God can do everything, and can do all things. As long as we have the faith of a mustard seed within us, the power of God will be manifested through us. Brothers and sisters, today we need to continue to promote everyone's faith in the church. Someone asked, isn't today talking about connection in the love of the Father? Yes, all things must be built on the foundation of faith, and unconditional faith is faith.

What to believe?

First of all, believe that God is the God who heals me. I like to do what the Bible teaches. Some people say that I am an extreme charismatic, but I don't know if I am an extreme charismatic, and I don't care much. But the Bible says, I am the God who heals you, and by Jesus' stripes we are healed. How good is this? Jesus has already suffered stripes for us, why are we not healed? Because we do not have the faith of a mustard seed within us. Therefore, today we can obtain the faith of a mustard seed, and we can release the healing power of God. There is nothing that cannot be healed! I often say in the church that everyone is healed in our church. Someone asked if there is anyone who is not healed? No, if there is, that person may be me. What I mean is that there is no one who cannot be healed, and everyone is healed.

If everyone is healed, you come and say that you will also be healed, and you will be healed easily. If you are easily healed, you come and you are healed, and another one comes and is healed again, then everyone is healed. If today I tell you that there seems to be one person who cannot be healed, then it is troublesome, that person may be me. I have really met such a person who thinks that the person who cannot be healed is himself. In this passage, Jesus did not ask what the child's ancestors did. Why didn't he ask these questions? Because asking these questions is useless, those things are not important. What is important is to have the faith of a mustard seed, which is the key to healing the child. Jesus did not ask him what sin he had committed or curse he had suffered, and directly healed them, because God heals us unconditionally. I believe that God loves us and will not inflict diseases on His children.

Unconditional Faith and Divine Healing

Therefore, the Bible says, God knows those who love Him. If you do not love God, that is another matter. I love God, with all my heart, might, and devotion to the Lord my God, serving Him alone. Therefore, for me, there is nothing impossible. Without any conditions, that is divine healing. Actually, I had a severe cold on Friday, was sick all day Saturday, and started sharing the Sunday message here. Normally, it takes one to two weeks to recover from a severe cold, and some people even need injections. But I did not get any injections. After some tossing and turning, I was completely healed. My colleague who works with me also recovered. I believe that God is my healer. Why can't many pastors believe this? I do not know. But I know that through the results of a person's actions, you can see whether they have the faith of a mustard seed within them.

Therefore, today, our brothers and sisters must believe that once you believe, many problems can be solved. Many pastors cannot do what I do. Why? Because they do not believe that God is their healer. They always add conditions. What do they add conditions for? They feel that God is not a healing God, as if God is not willing to heal them. Let me describe their prayers, and you will be able to hear it. They pray, Lord, please heal me. Oh, Lord, please heal me. Ah, Lord, please heal me. After praying for a long time, they are not healed. Why? Because that statement itself is the problem. Did the Bible teach us to pray like that? It sounds as if they are saying, God, God, You seem unwilling to heal me. Will bowing my head help? Aren't you shaming God?

But for me, before I pray, I believe that God is my healer. When I pray for others, I also believe that God is the healer. Even after I have sinned, I still believe that God is my healer. After I sin, I confess and repent, immediately turning back to God. God is full of grace and mercy. God has abundant grace and mercy; God is our healer; God eagerly desires to heal us. God has already borne our stripes for us. I believe that God is the God who watches over us. Wherever I go, I believe that God watches over me. I will not say I believe with my mouth while complaining in my heart about where my God is and what I should do. One of us was even hammered from behind during a meeting. We Northeasterners call this rooting out. Some of my classmates have encountered similar situations and are now half-dead, suffering from many illnesses.

But my God is the God who watches over me. God watches over me, which is wonderful. I really need such a God; I really need a God who watches over me. If you do not need it, that is your business, but I really need it. When I fly, I never believe that my plane will crash because I believe that God will watch over me. Wherever I go, I can see God blessing me. I may have the faith of a mustard seed within me. Thirty years ago, I had one mustard seed within me; thirty years later, it will become one hundred mustard seeds; ten years ago, it was ten thousand mustard seeds. Now, within me, there is a large pile of mustard seeds. I believe that God is our blessing God, I believe that God is a God who listens to our prayers, and I believe that God is a God who gives me authority. If you pray with me, you will find that what I pray for is very different from some pastors. Why? Because I have faith within me.

The Habit of Faith and Unconditional Grace

I will absolutely not ask the Lord to give me authority, Lord, bless me. I do not say these things. I believe that God is my blessing God, and I can directly draw on what I need. When I pray, I will not say, Lord, please hear my prayer. I rarely say such things. But when I sin, I will say, Lord, please cover my transgressions with Your precious blood. If I am speaking to the devil, I will, as a child of God, command the devil to retreat. The devil will say that I have sinned, but my transgressions have been covered by the blood of Jesus. Because in the name of Jesus Christ, I command this devil to retreat. I am teaching brothers and sisters to pray. If, during healing and deliverance, the devil accuses you and tells you that you sinned last night, even if you are still sinning, it does not matter. The precious blood of the Lord Jesus has already covered your transgressions, and the devil must retreat.

Start to form a habit. I think this is a very important concept. If you can carefully read through the twelve core values of our church, it will be of great help to your future life. I think today we must start to learn to develop a habit of believing, believing that God is a good God. What is there to accuse? Some brothers and sisters tell me that they have many accusations within them. Accusations about what? That God is a good God. God does not want us to die; God wants us to live. When I was still a sinner, God gave His Son Jesus Christ so that we would not perish but have eternal life. What else do you have to say? Do not doubt.

Do Not Doubt

Do not doubt; doubt is a very deadly thing. When you interact with someone, if the other person is always suspicious, will you still interact with them? If they always feel that you want to harm them, I think it is better to forget it because it is too tiring to interact with them. It is very easy to interact with people who have faith, but it is very tiring to interact with people who are suspicious. Even if you do not want to harm them, they think you want to harm them. In the beginning, you did not want to harm them, but later, because they are always suspicious, you want to harm them. People are too deadly; do not doubt. Doubt is the greatest problem of people. Where is the problem of doubt? It is because of unbelief. Therefore, Jesus said, Oh, this unbelieving and perverse generation! People do not believe; people prefer conditional things. For example, some people feel that God is not good because the root of doubt is unbelief.

They feel that God's love for us is conditional, that we must do something, or else we cannot obtain God's grace. They always feel that grace is too difficult to obtain. Start to form a habit of faith. Do not wait until Jesus appears before you and criticizes you for being an unbelieving and perverse person. If you feel that God is not good, then you are in trouble. If you feel that God's love is conditional, you will not obtain God's love. If you feel that God's grace is given to those who deserve grace, you will not obtain grace. If God bestows His grace according to people's actions, no one will obtain it today because no one can be justified before God by works. In a person's life, people are always weak. I myself am weak; I know that I am often weak. Although I have the faith of a mustard seed within me, I am still a weak person.

Strength in Weakness and True Faith

Therefore, Paul wrote in his letters, God's strength is made perfect in my weakness. This is well said. I am increasingly able to understand what Paul said because people are too difficult. When I was delivering LL, the demon within her said that the pastor had lustful desires. This kind of problem is something everyone has. Does a normal boy like to look at beautiful girls? I will not pretend. I think it is normal to look at beautiful girls who are very beautiful. Therefore, we must not pretend or play games. That day, I invited LT's parents to dinner, and they insisted on paying the bill. In the end, they paid the bill. Then I ordered a bottle of wine, and they said that their elder did not allow drinking. Actually, Jesus was a drinker. Therefore, brothers and sisters, do not play games today. I think their elder actually drinks a little wine at home, of course, this is my guess.

Where is the problem? The problem is not in whether or not one drinks, but in whether a person admits their weakness. I have my weaknesses, but I can still be strong through God. Because I will have lustful desires, but I can resist them through the Word of God. When we resist through the Word of God and resist through the ability God gives us, we will overcome. Although sometimes we cannot overcome, I have more and more victories because of the faith of a mustard seed. I know that God is a good God. God does not want me to die; God wants me to live. Since God has called me to serve Him, I must serve Him with heart and truth. What does it matter if there are weaknesses in my life? I will definitely release God's blessings with the faith of a mustard seed. God will not become weak because of my weakness; God will become strong because of my weakness. This is my God because I have the faith of a mustard seed within me.

I do not believe those things that are doubtful; I have no doubt within me. David is a very miraculous person; he is an extremely faithful person. Therefore, today we must begin to know how much our God loves us. While we were still sinners, He died for us and died on the cross so that we would not perish but have eternal life. Does that mean that if we are weak, stumble, or sin today, and then repent, God will want us to die? Absolutely not. God wants to save us from death and obtain grace. Therefore, today we must begin to understand that many times we should not accuse because we are weak; we should not accuse anything. Therefore, do not doubt today. It is not because you are doing well, but because God is giving grace. God is such a God. Then we constantly imitate Him and release God's grace.

Do not doubt. Once a person doubts, faith is no longer a mustard seed. It may be a steamed bun, or it may be a bowl of rice. That kind of faith is useless because nothing can grow when it is planted. Today we begin to rely on God and continue to be strong. How does God's Word say we should believe? That is the faith of a mustard seed. No matter how small the seed is, it is alive.

Uncompromising Faith and the Manifestation of Miracles

In Mark chapter 9, the same story is recorded. Jesus said, What are you arguing about? Why were those disciples arguing about the reason? But after arguing for so long, they still could not cast out the demon. I have a characteristic. This characteristic is that I am uncompromising with God's Word. What will uncompromising faith produce? If a demon cannot be cast out, I will keep casting it out. I do not believe it cannot be cast out! My faith is this kind of faith. No matter how big the problem is, as long as it comes before me, I will bring this mustard seed faith, which is a living faith. God's Word is established in heaven, and God's Word will not return void if it cannot be fulfilled. I believe in my God and will never speculate because speculation does not solve any problems. Therefore, in my entire faith, the path I lead everyone to take is a very simple path. Faith is the faith of a mustard seed. This is one path, one choice.

A colleague came to us with depression in 2012, and I prayed with him every day for three months. After three months, he was on the verge of collapse. I saw him in great pain. We prayed for three hours, but there were no results. He was lying on the ground. Later, I said to take him to eat something, and after eating, we would continue to pray. On the way to dinner, when we were about to reach the restaurant, I said, Today, you must be healed. If you are not healed today, we will pray until tomorrow. If you are not healed tomorrow, we will pray until the day after tomorrow. If you are not healed the day after tomorrow, we will keep praying until you are healed. Then we went to eat together. After eating, his condition was very bad. We prayed for twenty minutes, and the demon began to manifest, and then he began to be released continuously.

We prayed for eight hours that day, and he slept very well that night. He had not been able to sleep for several days. After being delivered, his sleep problems were also solved. The next day, he said to me, Pastor, I have a wonderful gift! I asked him what the gift was, and he told me that he could guess numbers correctly. Then I wrote a number in my hand and asked him to guess, and he always guessed correctly. Later, I wondered what this was. I thought the Holy Spirit would not do such a boring thing, and then I said, Devil, be pushed down! Then I cast out that demon, and when he continued to guess, he could not guess correctly. Later, after this healing and deliverance, I learned a lesson, and that lesson is the faith of a mustard seed because the faith of a mustard seed is amazing. I think if you can believe, there is nothing you cannot do.

If you can do anything, you will be a divine person. Do you want to be a divine person? If you are a divine person, do you still want to be an ordinary person? Of course, you want to be a divine person.

Nothing Is Impossible

Nothing is impossible. This is very well said. This is what Jesus said, and it is the grace that the God who created the universe has given us. Do you want this grace? If you don't, I do. I want to encourage all the brothers and sisters among us to restore this faith that nothing is impossible, and then we all want to be such divine people. Everyone I have met says that I am a divine person. I am really a divine person. When I came to Mudanjiang in July, it was summer. A large group of my elementary school classmates came, and we ate together. At that time, there was a classmate sitting directly opposite me. When my eyes looked at him, the Spirit of God said, He has a lot of illnesses. But classmates I have not seen for forty years, I cannot just tell him, The Holy Spirit just told me that you have a lot of illnesses. I cannot say this, and I do not want to cause trouble.

Uncompromising Faith and God's Promise

After dinner, my family drove me back home. Then, at the door of the restaurant, I held his hand with one hand and grabbed his shoulder with the other hand. Although I am relatively thin, I used a little strength when I grabbed his shoulder and pinched him. Later, he wrote a letter to me and said, You are really a god. When I was eating with you, my shoulder was in terrible pain. After you grabbed me, my shoulder was immediately better. Then I said, I am going back to Singapore on Saturday. Come over here, and I will pray for you. Actually, his life was terrible. His parents were paralyzed for seven years, and he took care of his parents and got a lot of illnesses, which was very hard. I think this generation needs people like us, doesn't it? This generation needs people who can release God's power.

I do not like speculative pastors. If you come to me and speculate with me, then forget it. I do not have time to speculate with you. What theology this and that theology, I do not want to do these things. How does God's word say, we believe it! Therefore, when I serve my God with a pure faith in my entire faith, I have really personally experienced the words that nothing is impossible. What a promise this is.
