Introduction

We have experienced so much of God's grace, which is quite rare in the churches I have seen. Why is it rare? Because people are often not rigorous enough with the word of God. Especially in Christian history, there are countless instances of this lack of rigor. Take the phenomena we encounter today, for example: many people like to interpret things haphazardly. In reality, we encounter many inexplicable things. When I was young, I went farming with my father. When I got hot, I took off my sweater and hung it on a tree nearby. But after finishing work, the sweater was gone. Back then, sweaters were quite valuable. When we got back, we asked a neighbor who was a fortune teller. She said, Don't worry, three days later at 6:30 AM, go back to where you hung it. The sweater will definitely be there. Three days later, we did as she said, and we actually found the sweater! I saw this with my own eyes, but if you ask me to explain how it happened, I really can't give a clear explanation.

This same neighbor, when I was taking the university entrance exam, my mother was diagnosed with a tumor. This neighbor told her not to have surgery. But we didn't listen and went to the hospital for the operation. However, after the surgery, the wound didn't heal for a long time, for weeks!. Our family was extremely anxious! This neighbor then told my mother what to do, like burning something and saying certain things, and the wound actually healed!

This is something my family experienced. To me, this is the spiritual realm! From a young age, I've been very interested in the spiritual realm, and I've been actively and continuously seeking it. The topic I'm discussing today is called Be a Seeker of Truth.

Today, in our generation, when Christians mention speaking in tongues and casting out demons, they think it’s casting out demons by the power of the demon king. We all read the same Bible, so how did people come up with these ideas? Are they truly clear about it? If they are, then show me. If you can do it, then I'll believe you. But if you can't, then forget it.

Today, I can perform many miracles, and those who follow me perform even more miracles! Why? Because we are all seekers! Why? Because the words in the Bible were written by those who risked their lives for the gospel! Those demons, evil spirits, and many strange things—I serve so many people, and their personal experiences, can they be explained through human reasoning or logic? They can't be explained! Of course, the Bible doesn't ask us to explain these things clearly through human reasoning.

An elderly woman, almost 90 years old, had been in a wheelchair for ten years! Recently, she came to our place. I told her granddaughter, Let's pray with your grandmother. She's an old intellectual, and she had so many of her own ideas in her head. Her daughter and granddaughter had both tried to reason with her, but they both failed. But when I spoke to her, she was very willing to pray. Her daughter and granddaughter were very surprised! Why? Because this elderly woman really liked listening to me speak. So, after meeting me this time, she prayed and stood up from her wheelchair! In any case, her condition has recently improved greatly!

We must begin to understand that whether we can explain something or not is not important. What's important is that we be seekers. No matter what the situation, I try, work on, and explore it. I have a trait: I say I know when I know, and I don't know when I don't know. I never force things. Maybe it's this that makes the ninety-year-old woman feel that what I say makes sense. Christians must also be reasonable. Being unreasonable and blindly religious will hinder people from believing!

Today, we must begin to change. We must seek when facing inexplicable things. For example, Chinese Mingding Destiny. One of its most important characteristics is continuous seeking and continuous practice. In fact, some atheists say things that are more reliable than some overly religious Christians because they value practice. For example, Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform and opening up when he asserted that: Practice is the sole criterion for judging truth. This is good! Because he made it happen.

There are many things we don't understand, but continuous seeking is our characteristic. If someone criticizes us, saying that Chinese Mingding Destiny is wrong in this aspect or that, then I say that there are still many problems we haven't sorted out, but we are striving to explore. We want to continuously know God, and when facing inexplicable things, I also like to return to the Bible. Today's testimony happened this week. We have many testimonies every week, such as people with depression and schizophrenia. What exactly is schizophrenia? No one can say for sure, but I can tell you that what they see is from the spiritual realm.

At the beginning of this year, a person came who had schizophrenia. He often saw many worms from hell. The pastor of his local church told him to see a psychologist. I wondered, Can a psychologist solve the problems with demons? Later, we ministered to this brother, and now he is completely healed and can work normally.

Do you really know what it means to live? What exactly is money? What is life and death? What is the relationship between people? If we do not know that man lives by the spirit, and the flesh is of no benefit, then if you do not understand it, you will not be able to discern it.

Scripture: Deuteronomy 4:29

But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Prayer

Lord Jesus, today we ask you to open our spiritual eyes. Today, stir up this longing heart through your word, encouraging us to seek you more earnestly. For those among us who are new to you, and those who have known you for a long time, may we know you more fully at our current level. Lord Jesus, today extend your mighty arm to us, let your power be manifested, let each of us know you, let each of us know that you are the answer to our lives!

Scripture Background

The background of this passage is after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. God sent many plagues in Egypt, so the King of Egypt let the Israelites go. The Israelites saw God's provision almost every day in the wilderness. But in the second year, when God was preparing to lead them into the Promised Land, ten spies went to the land of Canaan and returned with bad news, so the Israelites dared not enter. God was greatly angered, and as a result, they wandered in Egypt for forty years. All those Israelites died, leaving Moses, Joshua, and Caleb. At the end of the forty years, Moses wrote Deuteronomy before this new generation of Israelites was about to enter the land of Canaan, repeatedly reminding the Israelites to earnestly seek God, otherwise they would be quickly destroyed:

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you. And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee; and upon earth he showed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath; there is none else. Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever. (Deuteronomy 4:26-40)

What does this passage say? The Israelites faced disaster and calamity, scattered among the nations, seeking God only after suffering. Moses wrote this passage to encourage them to seek God. If each of us seeks God with all our heart and soul, we will surely find Him, because God has been waiting for you for a long time. Deuteronomy is one of my favorite books. Even my 101 and 201 courses quote from here, and I have also written two volumes of Bible study materials on Blessing and Curses.

People need to understand blessing and curse; this is something everyone must seek in their life! Since I went to university, I have never stopped seeking. But if I had sought as I do today in those previous years... actually, in 2010, my father caught a small cold, and as a result, he passed away. But looking at it today, this is just a very simple ailment among us. With prayer, it would surely get better. I think that even if prayer might have helped, sometimes death comes, and naturally there is no way to change it. But if death has not come, then there are still too many things that we can turn around!

I encourage everyone to continuously seek and continuously search. Speaking of which, I'll give you a few questions to think about:

  • What is the result of not seeking?
  • What is the result of seeking?
  • How should one seek?
  • Examine yourself to see if you are the kind of person who is self-righteous, thinking you know when you don't.

These are a few questions for you to ponder. What goal do I want to achieve today? It is to encourage everyone to rise up, continuously seek, and continuously explore, seeking with a rigorous attitude, dealing with the careless and superficial attitude.

I sought diligently, pondered diligently, and prayed diligently. The final result is sweet. Why? Because I found the answer, and that is Mingding Destiny. Tamar had to bear children from the house of Judah no matter what. Judah's first three older brothers all lost the right of the firstborn, so Judah picked up the leftovers and received the right of the firstborn. After Tamar learned of this, she married into Judah's family as a daughter-in-law.

However, Judah's eldest son was particularly unruly, so God struck him down. The second son was also struck down by God. When it came to the youngest son, he was too young. Tamar had to bear children from the house of Judah no matter what. It's difficult for us to understand, but that is alright. You can listen to the Bible study on Genesis 38 online. This is called having Mingding Destiny. When a person has such Mingding Destiny and pays a heavy price for it, Tamar appears in the genealogy of Jesus Christ.

I thank God because I am continuously seeking. I searched online for Bible study materials on Genesis 38, but I was not satisfied with any of them. One professor wrote that every time he read Genesis 38, his heart ached, and he thought Judah had fallen. Isn't this outrageous? The scripture says that Tamar was more righteous than Judah. They were comparing who was more righteous, not who was more depraved.

God is truly gracious to me because I sought diligently, and I found the answer. From the first chapter of Genesis to the fiftieth chapter, I use Mingding Destiny to connect the entire book of Genesis. I have written four books of Bible studies on Genesis. The first book is from chapter one to chapter eleven, the second book is from chapter twelve to chapter twenty-six, the third book is from chapter twenty-seven to chapter thirty-six, and the fourth book is from chapter thirty-seven to chapter fifty.

I have read many people's interpretations online, but I was not very satisfied. After reading what they wrote, I seemed to understand, but I also seemed not to understand. I have led everyone in studying Genesis five times, and each time I knelt there praying and seeking before studying. I also encourage our brothers and sisters to have the same mindset, continuously seeking God's revelation. Have I fully obtained it today? No, there is still much that we need to continue to seek. Because we find that many things are not systematic, and there are many things that cannot be explained.

Some people think that interpreting the Bible with the Bible is good, but the result is that people get very confused after listening. What I say is very practical and down-to-earth. The four books of Bible studies on Genesis that I wrote mainly focus on how to put the themes discussed in the Bible into practice in life. In our seeking, if you don't seek when buying a house, you can't have a good investment. If you invest and manage your finances without exploring and seeking, you can easily be deceived.

Some time ago, the parents among us lost more than 700,000 RMB, and the mother of one child lost 600,000 RMB. Her child came out of depression, but after losing the money, this mother was also confused and showing some symptoms of depression. Whether it's investing in buying a house or healing and deliverance, exploration and seeking are needed. Many people think that the charismatic movement is heresy, but Jesus and Paul were the biggest heretics. I have read many articles criticizing the charismatic movement. They think they know, but actually, they don't seek and just casually label others.

I know of a small church in Canada that speaks in tongues, and many people think they are heretics. The Bible writes that we should pray in tongues and also pray with our understanding! (See 1 Corinthians 14:14-15) This is written very plainly, so why can't we do it? It's because they don't seek. If you read the Bible carefully, you will find that not praying in tongues is the biggest problem.

Recently, I have received several pastors, and I wanted to share the best things with them. I shared healing and deliverance with them. But they told me that one of their coworkers has terminal cancer. Do people know what's going on? It seems they don't really know. Does God say in the Bible that cancer is a blessing? No! If we seek well, don't be self-righteous, and re-explore the truth in the Bible, you will surely see God's grace.

In fact, not seeking is a very serious problem. Assuming you know, or seeming to know, is useless. We must seek with heart, soul, and strength! I am very surprised that people who have cancer still think that they believe in the orthodox faith. Isn't this strange? It's quite strange. Chinese Mingding Destiny has explored many concepts. We describe many concepts more specifically, such as the concepts of salvation, pastoring, and faith. We don't dare to say that we are completely right. Perhaps in five years we will have a better understanding?

We have never stopped seeking, and we are still continuously seeking. The main characteristic of Chinese Mingding Destiny is continuous seeking. I also encourage you to seek to know God. When you know God, when you seek, you will surely find Him. Because I have experienced it. I sought well, and God allowed me to find Him personally.

As God says in the Bible:

But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

This is what God says, and we cannot deny it. Actually, there are many doctrinal myths in Christ Jesus. In any case, let us not listen to rumors, return to the Bible, and seek more. You will surely find it. In the faith of Christ Jesus, some people explain things in such a way that it is better not to listen.

Some time ago, a sister from the Netherlands found us. She is not a very eloquent person, but I really like her way of speaking because it is very practical. She sought and sought and found us. She said that this is the church she wanted. She prayed with us and experienced great grace. When she prayed with her husband, her husband's leg got better, and there are many such testimonies.

This sister of ours had a lot of illnesses, but she loved God very much. She cooked for six years, but without the Way. She was not satisfied in her heart and wanted to seek. After listening to what I said, she realized that her previous practices were not the Way. After coming among us, she experienced great healing. God is there waiting for us to seek Him. I encourage everyone to seek more, not to be careless, and not to be self-righteous.

Everyone should know who Genghis Khan was. It is very difficult for people in this world. Everyone needs to know God. Without God, life in this world is too hard! People need God so much! People must seek! If you say there is no God and no spiritual realm, does that really mean there is none? Have you explored whether there is or isn't? What proof do you have that there is no God and no spiritual realm? I encourage everyone to seek and explore!

Our Good Lies Within God Alone

Our good lies within God alone. The fear within us can be resolved in God. Our lives are in God, the meaning of our existence is in God, and our eternal life is in God. Everything we experience in life revolves around blessings and curses, and all these things are in God. Our God is the God of the living; we must seek Him while we are alive, and we will lack no good thing when we seek Him!

Having heard these words, do not ask me, How do you know? Whether I know or not is irrelevant; my seeking cannot substitute yours! You must seek diligently and understand deeply! Take schizophrenia, for example. What is schizophrenia? It is being possessed by demons. Seek truth and reality extensively, and God will surely reveal it to you. If you know the truth and the reality of things, if you understand the spiritual realm, and if you take up the authority God has given you in the spiritual realm, many problems can be readily solved!

So, what can I offer you today? The best advice I can give you is to seek with all your heart and soul. By seeking God, we can see through many things. If you see through money, power, and everything else, you will know that God is our treasure! No matter who you are, I eagerly desire to bless you. No matter how great your problems are, as long as you come before God and seek Him diligently! It is because we did not know God in the past that we have so many problems today.

Today, I encourage our brothers and sisters, when we encounter tribulations, we must know that it is because we did not know Him and did not seek Him in the past. We treat many things as our needs and pursue them as our lifelong goals. We spend our lives pursuing wealth, but can wealth solve all our problems? No, it cannot!

The Israelites experienced many disasters and tribulations. If they had known to seek God, when they sought Him with all their heart and soul, they would surely have found Him; this is God's promise to us!

“For inquire now concerning the former days which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard. Did any people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live? Or did God ever try to go and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Him. From heaven He made you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire.

And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His mighty power, to drive out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may be well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.” (Deuteronomy 4:32-40)

Seek with All Your Heart and Soul

Having heard so much, are you prepared to seek with all your heart and soul? If you have many debts, what you need is God; you do not need to make money, you need God to help you! If you have many illnesses, what you need is God. If you encounter many interpersonal troubles, what you need is God. Are you prepared to seek with all your heart and soul? Do you truly know that you will lack no good thing when you seek God?

When Jesus taught people about the attitude of seeking, He used a parable, as recorded in the Bible:

And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:5-13)

Here, Jesus is describing people asking for the Holy Spirit. You must seek God as this person sought bread. Seeking with all your heart and soul is extremely important. What does it mean to seek with all your heart and soul? For example, if this person asked for bread in a small voice, he would surely be rejected. If you speak in a small voice, you should not expect to receive anything. Today, you must practice speaking loudly! If you cannot practice speaking loudly, you can practice knocking on the door. Knock hard and keep knocking. What does this mean? It means that if you do not give me what I want, I will not let you sleep!

Our God loves such people. If you seek with all your heart and soul, never be polite to God. If you are polite to God, God will also be polite to you. If you play lip service with God, God will also play lip service with you. If you feel that God will not give to you and that God is far from you, God will be far from you. If you are very casual with God, as if you are family, of course, we must not treat God as a servant. We must know that God is a treasure! How should we ask? We must ask as if we are asking for bread.

So, God uses seeking with all your heart and soul to describe it today. What does it mean to seek with all your heart and soul? It means never giving up until you obtain what you seek! Is there genuine longing and thirst within us? Perhaps you are just getting to know God today, and your longing and thirst for God only remain at the stage of just getting to know Him. You may have known God for ten years and read the Bible many times. You should have ten years of longing and thirst for God. God's requirements for each person are flexible. If you already know that God is a treasure trove, know that God is our treasure, and know that God is our highest pursuit, then today, seek with all your heart and soul at the level of your understanding!
