Introduction
Greetings! Let us examine Exodus Chapter 27. Identifying the central theme of this chapter proves quite challenging. Have you observed that merely replicating the patterns shown on the mountain seems somewhat uninspiring—simply constructing this and that? Yet, viewed separately, God instructs Moses to build the Ark of the Covenant, followed by the construction of the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, the table, the golden lampstand, the badger skins, and the courtyard. After completing the courtyard, there is also an altar for sacrifices. Following the discussion of the altar, it proceeds to Aaron and his sons serving as priests, tending to the lamps within the Tabernacle, ensuring they are continually lit. If we dissect these elements, comprehension becomes difficult.
We have a general understanding of the Israelites worshipping God in the Tabernacle, a rough sketch, if you will. Bear in mind that at this point, Moses, in writing Chapter 27, is still documenting God's instructions on the mountain, diligently taking notes. Upon completing his notes, he organizes them, detailing the construction of the Tabernacle in Chapters 25, 26, and 27. However, if we avoid isolating Chapters 25, 26, and 27, and instead connect them, we see that building the Tabernacle requires a complete system.
In essence, God is providing Moses with a visual blueprint on the mountain. Later, in Chapters 30 onwards, you will notice Moses reiterating these instructions. Those who have read Exodus will recall that these events are recorded twice. As we progress from Chapter 27 into Chapter 28, the focus shifts to the priests and their vestments. Chapter 27 presents a clear diagram: a complete Tabernacle for worshipping God. Whether termed a Temple or something else, it remains a complete Tabernacle.
Looking at this from a broader perspective, what does it represent? Do not underestimate the significance of these elements. While some things are good, others are not. If it lacks substance, that is problematic! With this Tabernacle, we must establish a complete system. All these actions, if viewed in isolation, are meaningless. Without a complete system, describing these elements becomes exceedingly difficult. I have observed that a lack of systematic thinking, viewing issues in a fragmented, isolated, and one-sided manner, is a pernicious habit. If one has a habit of viewing issues in an isolated, one-sided manner, then they are truly worthless.
The Necessity of a Complete System
Viewing the Tabernacle as a comprehensive system—comprising the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, a courtyard, an altar, and a gate—provides us with a clear understanding. In fact, the path to the Holy of Holies becomes increasingly refined and dignified. What is the essence of this chapter? It symbolizes an individual's pursuit of sanctification; one who reaches the Holy of Holies is sanctified.
Speaking of symbolism, we must establish a complete system. You will notice that I frequently use the term "system," a crucial concept in Mingding Destiny. Everything must possess a complete system. Building the Tabernacle, establishing it with the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, the golden lampstand, and the Ark of the Covenant within the Holy of Holies—it is a layered progression.
Therefore, understand that a complete system reveals a spiritual truth, a spiritual truth that must possess a complete system. To speak boldly, I have yet to encounter a theological system, whether Evangelical, Charismatic, Reformed, Lutheran, or Methodist, that presents a coherent system. Perhaps such systems exist, but we have not fully grasped them.
However, I assure you that understanding this system will have profound implications. In Exodus Chapter 40, constructing according to God's system will result in one event: God's glory will fill His Temple and His Tabernacle, or fill His Church. This also foreshadows that God's Church is the Temple of worship. If God's Temple and Tabernacle are built according to His Word and His system, His presence will be there.
Some may ask, "Is God's presence practical?" It is far more desirable than food. If someone questions the value of God's presence, I would give them a nickname: they should not be called John Doe or Richard Roe, but rather Food Bucket—Food being the surname, Bucket the given name. Like ancient Chinese naming conventions, with a surname, given name, and courtesy name, this individual's surname is Food, given name Bucket, and courtesy name Trash.
Why pose such a question? Because they prioritize eating. People of that era were of low stature, asking upon meeting, "Have you eaten?" as if eating were paramount. Asking someone today if they have eaten is akin to implying, "Are you a food bucket?"—a rather impolite inquiry.
The theme of this chapter is the necessity of a complete system. When God revealed this matter to Moses, it was to be a complete system. Building the Tabernacle to worship God is an intricate project, comprising the Holy of Holies, the Holy Place, the contents of each, and an outer courtyard with its contents. Thus, a complete system mirrors our current state, where we continuously ascend through different spiritual levels. You may be in the courtyard, while others remain outside. Upon entering the courtyard, you must strive to enter the Holy Place; having entered the Holy Place, you must strive to enter the Holy of Holies.
Now, with God's glory present, carefully follow God's revelation, the blueprint given to Moses. God explained it clearly to Moses, who then faithfully built according to God's blueprint, and God's glory and presence filled the Tabernacle. This raises a critical point: something lacking a system is difficult to build. Let me offer an analogy to illustrate the importance of diligently discussing this matter. Building a complete system is a prominent characteristic of our Mingding Destiny.
If an airplane is built without a complete system, it cannot fly. If a space station is constructed without a complete system, reentry becomes problematic. To build a flyable airplane, it must be complete, and its blueprint must be drawn first. One cannot simply build without a blueprint; doing so leads to trouble.
I often see people rushing into projects without proper planning, only to dismantle and create waste. This is reckless work. A muddled mind produces muddled results. How crucial is a complete system? It allows you to visualize the outcome clearly on paper before proceeding with construction. With a complete system, the ultimate goal remains in sight.
If an airplane cannot fly upon completion, it is merely a model. If it can fly but cannot land, merely exploding in mid-air, it is equally futile. If the blueprint depicts such an outcome, pressing the button guarantees a one-way trip! The Church is similar; it must be built with a complete system. Why? Because the pastor lacks a blueprint, unable to articulate the construction process. If one cannot explain it, how can the outcome be clear? It cannot.
Therefore, building a Church requires an engineer's mindset: possessing a construction plan, blueprints, a construction scheme, materials, processing techniques, and craftsmanship. If the Church, likened to an airplane, cannot fly, it is merely a model due to a lack of capability. If an airplane is built that can fly but lacks wings, it is merely a firework. Riding on the engine and igniting it is suicidal.
Mingding Destiny emphasizes what God reveals to us during the Church-building process, forming a complete Church-building system. With this complete Church-building system, God's glory and presence will be among us. With God's glory and presence, issues of healing and deliverance, physical ailments, and financial difficulties are resolved. With God's presence, no problem is insurmountable. The key lies in valuing God's presence. If one cherishes God's presence, would they lack employment? Would they be incompetent? Would they live a difficult life, plagued by illness? No. Some ask why they are ill; are we not progressing towards the Holy of Holies? Brothers and sisters, this is crucial.
After leading Moses and the Israelites out of Egypt, God's first act was to build the Tabernacle, a place to worship Him. We must understand that building a glorious Church is the most important endeavor of our lives. Is this clear? For example, if I possess a piece of sheepskin, or only a piece of badger skin, and Moses requires badger skin to build the Tabernacle, is it more important to donate the badger skin to Moses for the Tabernacle, or to keep it to make a skirt for my wife? The answer is obvious.
This is why one's heart must be tested, why we encourage sacrifice. If you are unwilling to sacrifice, it is because your job, business, family, or children are more important than building a glorious Church. In that case, can you have God's presence? Without God's presence, you will face numerous problems, correct? Continuing on your original path without resolving these issues demonstrates a lack of a complete system in your life. Is this clear?
I am discussing establishing a complete belief system, where upon completion, you understand the importance of each aspect. Regardless of whether my words cause discomfort, I must help you establish a system for learning and thinking, a complete system. Without a system, nothing can be accomplished. The first point is the necessity of a complete system, revealed by God in Exodus Chapter 27, depicting the appearance of the entire Tabernacle for worshipping God.
Throughout Chapter 27, I am emphasizing the importance of a complete system, followed by an individual's path to sanctification. You may be outside the Tabernacle gate, within the courtyard, in the Holy Place, or in the Holy of Holies, representing different spiritual levels.
Avoid being foolish, for foolishness is deadly. A foolish person, newly baptized and beginning their faith journey, may prematurely declare, "I am saved!" But in their current state, can they truly be saved? When asked about their belief in Jesus, their answers are nonsensical, and God's presence is absent. Why? Because they are far from it! A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, but they stop after the first step. Can they witness God's glory? No. This is the first point: establish a complete system.
Entering the Gate
As the Chinese saying goes, you must enter the gate. Remaining outside the gate is a tragedy. God designed this with a purpose: a gate, with a significant difference between being inside and outside. When leading Bible studies, I say there are two types of people. You might say, "Men and women." But in this era, such a distinction is blurred. There are those who are neither male nor female, those who are both, those who are male by day and female by night. One cannot be certain, so this distinction is inadequate.
There are only two types of people: those who diligently keep and obey God's Word, and those who do not; those who are cursed, and those who are blessed; those who are in the courtyard, and those who are outside; those who please God, and those who provoke His wrath. The question is, which will you choose to be? Choose to please God, to have a destiny. "I want a destiny, I want to be blessed!" you exclaim loudly. But when it comes to sacrificing your badger skin, you balk. Why? Because you want to keep it to make a stylish badger-skin skirt for your wife! Attending meetings feels like a loss, so you abandon the idea of destiny.
The Chinese Mingding Destiny design has a complete system, designed to make people pay the price, if you cannot afford the price, then forget it! If a Christian cannot even pay the price that Falun Gong believers pay, then are they really a Christian? In Singapore, there is a place where Falun Gong believers distribute their leaflets every day, year after year. Every time I go there, I see them, they are so powerful! Do we Christians pay such a price? Writing a note as if you are killing a pig, will that work?
Why is it so troublesome to build this tent to worship God? You have to find this and find that, and almost all the gold and silver treasures you brought out of Egypt are used up. This one uses fine gold, that one uses fine gold, as if your heart and liver have been moved, that is not called paying the price. This is my design, if you cannot afford the price, do whatever you want, don't mess around here.
We are all in the courtyard, if you are outside the courtyard, you don't need to come in, you can stay outside. Because you can't come in, this place is for people who pay the price and live a God-centered life. The church has no system, so they are not willing to pay the price, they just say that I am saved. Looking back and forth, left and right, the people outside the courtyard, they don't look like they are saved, they don't have the appearance of Jesus at all.
Be a person who worships God and lives a God-centered life. Build an altar, and enter the gate to offer sacrifices. In our path to sanctification through sacrifice, we offer ourselves on the altar, presenting ourselves as living sacrifices to God. Because the path that Jesus walked was to offer Himself, and we offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God, which is holy and acceptable to God. Sacrifice is just the beginning, brothers and sisters, know that this is not entering the Holy of Holies, it is just a necessary path. Before that, we have to build the tent, build the courtyard of the tent, and after building it, we enter the courtyard and start offering sacrifices, and after offering sacrifices, it is just the beginning of the path to sanctification.
A person without a heart of dedication, their sacrifices are like offering pig's blood, and their worship of God is like a discounted dog collar. Brothers and sisters, know that God's presence is our treasure, and with God's presence, many of the problems we face will be solved. Because we don't have God's presence, we don't live well; because we are selfish and self-interested, and we are a person with the surname Food, the name Bucket, and the word Trash, so we live like a food bucket. All the time is spent on swiping the phone, and we are not willing to dedicate time to God, and we are not willing to dedicate our lives to God, so we live like a food bucket, and then we say: "God, why is it like this? God, why is it so unfair?"
Is it difficult to establish a complete belief system? Not difficult. Will we pay the price for establishing a complete belief system? We will pay the price. Is this difficult? Not difficult, it is a matter of course to offer ourselves. Many Christians don't think, they do a lot of nonsense, and they live in a curse without knowing it. They haven't entered the gate yet, and when they enter the gate, they find that they have to offer themselves, turn around and run, and run to the outside of the courtyard. God's presence? Forget it, let's get out of here quickly.
Be a Person of Sacrifice
We must walk the path of Abraham. Abraham offered his most precious possessions to God, while you offer your most dilapidated ones. Isn't that foolish? Brainless! Do you think such a mind can contemplate anything, can explain anything clearly? It can't even think straight! We must know that our faith is the faith of Abraham, and the path we walk is the path of Abraham. Abraham existed before Moses, and from that time, Abraham began to live a life of sacrifice. In the time of Moses, God personally revealed to Moses how to build the tabernacle of God's presence.
Building the tabernacle of God's presence, the Israelites were constantly around the tabernacle, their eyes seeing the pillar of cloud and the pillar of fire with them, the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire always above the tabernacle. They often saw God's presence with man, yet they still often forsook God. What kind of mind is that? It is because they didn't understand the matter of living, because they didn't think from a complete system, so they often said foolish things, wanting to return to Egypt to continue being slaves.
When we establish a logical system of Mingding Destiny, we live a life centered on God. Many Christians today live centered on their wives, many live centered on their stomachs, thinking only about what to eat, what to drink, what to use. If we see through all these things, and look at these seventy or eighty years of life from eternity, they are actually meaningless! Without God's presence, these seventy or eighty years are filled with toil and sorrow.
Why do people pray for this world? Because they don't have a complete theological system. Why not pray for the Canaanites, pray for the people of Jericho? God wants to destroy them, and you pray for them? In this generation, many Christians don't have this system, so they pray for the world's economy, pray for world peace, pray for their children's studies, caring only about these things. Because they believe in the wrong God, they don't know they have no system inside, and they think they are doing good deeds! In fact, they are indeed doing a good deed, but in God's eyes, it is not a godly system. If they knew, they wouldn't do so many things like that.
In the process of building God's tabernacle in the wilderness, why didn't they go to Canaan or Egypt to raise funds? All these things are because their understanding of God is too biased, their understanding of God is all fabricated by themselves, not systematic, so it is chaotic. So whether they believe in the Lord without a system, worship the God of the Old Testament, or serve the God of the New Testament, without a system, they all end up like the Pharisees, nailing Jesus to the cross. I often see people praying for the economy, praying for their children's studies, these prayers are useless, because that's not how it works.
If you want to do good, bring people to God, into God's presence, bring God's presence into their midst, this is our responsibility as priests. Every time we offer a sacrifice, we enter the Holy Place to tend the lamp before God, the lamp must have oil. Tending this lamp is from night to morning, working the night shift every day, not 996, not 007, but 7 times 24 hours, and the lamp bowl is very small. Some people say, why is God so troublesome, making the priests so hard, not even able to take a nap for too long? What do you think? God's presence, letting you eat hotpot while gossiping about trivial matters, is that called God's presence? That's the presence of demons!
When someone has a fish bone stuck in their throat, I pray and it's gone. The other day I just boasted, and someone came to me with a fish bone stuck in their throat, I prayed and it was gone. Later I boasted again, anyone who is pregnant and vomiting, vomiting so hard that their intestines and stomach are about to come out, I pray and it's gone. I led in prayer, and the pregnant ones had problems, and the pregnant ones had problems, but after praying, they were all healed. Why is that? Because I am one who tends God's golden lampstand, I am a priest, my hand can touch God's throne, my feet stand on the ground, so I can bring down God's power, bring down God's glory, bring down God's blessings, to bless the people on earth. I tell you, be that kind of person.
Don't think like this, isn't that too troublesome? The nap time can't be too long. The oil in the lamp will run out soon, so you have to add more. The teacher just said to learn to innovate, and immediately I go and make an innovation, connect a pipe, and then connect an oil drum, the oil drum directly connected to Nord Stream 2, that's not tending, that's being lazy! That's not innovation, that's corruption!
I am willing to pay the price for God's presence. Why did God design it this way? To let us learn to pay the price, because God is very precious. This is just entering the Holy Place, entering the door, offering a sacrifice, to be qualified to tend this lamp! If you don't have this qualification, take your time, if you don't pay the price for this, you will pay the price for other things, raising a son, the son gambles, does drugs, talks nonsense, that's heartbreaking, if it goes on like this, you will die with regret.
Summary
From now on, desire to have this qualification to enter the Most Holy Place, to tend God's lamp, to obtain God's presence, to build God's temple, this is the purpose of my life. I came into this world to tend God's lamp, to be a priest after God's own heart. Do you think anyone can come? They don't even want you. You still think this is troublesome, this trouble won't be given to you. But I think this is a glorious Mingding Destiny. I tell you, when you obtain a glorious Mingding Destiny, the first to hinder you will be your wife, your husband, your son, your work, your business**.
If we are determined to tend God's lamp, God's temple, to build God's glorious church, this is my Mingding Destiny. As a result, my business is not delayed, my life and family are not delayed, this is the teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ said, for the sake of God's kingdom, forsake this, forsake that, why do I want this and want that? After saying that, lest I put pressure on you, you go and find your this and that yourself.
A person finally comes into the world, only wandering outside the courtyard, not even touching the door, still talking nonsense outside the door, that's really foolish! People need God very much, if you spend the time talking nonsense on tending God's presence, wouldn't you save a lot of time? Tending God's presence, to become a blessing to this earth, otherwise you can't become a blessing to others.
Some people think that giving some money to the poor is blessing them, that's not blessing them! What is the gospel? To set the captives free, to set the oppressed free. Why is there that? Because the Spirit of God is upon me, I am tending God's presence, God's temple, and then from the temple let God's power flow out, to become a blessing to many people.
Many Christians do good deeds, not even as good as the monks, and in the end they are cursed. Why is that? It is because they have no system, they don't implement it according to God's word. I speak very frankly, why is that person like that? It's called ignorance, people all die on top of destructive ignorance. Why does that person hinder her husband from loving God? Why does she want her husband to love her more than God? That's ignorance, not knowing that it's called a curse, it's the road to destruction. If the husband is even more afraid of his wife, and doesn't dare to tell his wife that this is the road to destruction, then they will perish together.
I have a personality, no one can hinder me, whoever hinders me, I will forsake them. Our church doesn't care about the number of members, the church cares about those who are willing to offer themselves as a living sacrifice to God. How many people are willing to rely on the Spirit of God to put to death the evil deeds of the body, to replace the wrong logic in us, the carnal logic system, with a logical system that builds God's glorious church? To draw a beautiful blueprint full of God's glory for oneself, not just this life, but eternal life, to live in God's glory forever.
May God bless everyone!
