【Sermon】God's Thoughts Towards Us Are Thoughts of Peace!

2020-04-25 40,886 Sermon Curse Calamity Blessing Glory Service Peace

Introduction

Good day to everyone! The topic I am sharing with you today is called God's thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace, and this passage is found in Jeremiah chapter 29. This is a rather poignant passage. The title does not reveal the sadness, but the sadness lies with Jeremiah.

As a Christian, especially in this turbulent era, you will find that many Christians do not see God's grace in their lives. They are better off not praying, because the more they pray, the more problems arise. Then they use all sorts of ways to explain, but they just do not explain their failure to love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and mind. They simply do not want to diligently observe and follow the way of God!

However, we can also see many brothers and sisters who are fully receiving God's grace in this turbulent era. What is the difference? Today, we can see that God's thoughts towards many Christians are thoughts of peace, not of disaster. At the same time, we can also see that God's thoughts towards many Christians are not thoughts of peace, but of disaster. This is why we, in Chinese Mingding Destiny, have been emphasizing diligent observance and adherence to God's Word! Diligently observe and adhere to God's Word!! Diligently observe and adhere to God's Word!!!

The time of Jeremiah is very similar to the era we are in today. The Israelites in Jeremiah's time also went to church, participated in worship, prayed, and prophesied in the name of Jehovah. But many were false prophets, and all they spoke of was peace, peace. Today, many Christians also go to church, but they do not see the thoughts of peace that God gives.

Recently, many brothers and sisters have come among us, and they all used to have churches. Their churches were persecuted and then forced to disband. Today, we return to the Bible, which divides people into two categories: they and us. God's thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace. So who are us? And who are they? God's thoughts towards them are simply unbelievable! Scripture says:

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “See, I am sending against them sword, famine and plague, and I will make them like poor figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten. I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse and an object of horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them. For they have not listened to my words,” declares the Lord, “words that I sent to them again and again through my servants the prophets. And you have not listened either,” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 29:17-19)

So today, brothers and sisters, we must understand that being a Christian is not just about sitting in church and being done with it. As Christians, it is best to understand God's Word in the Bible! Why does the Mingding Destiny that we preach cause confusion for many people, while at the same time providing very clear interpretation for others? Everyone must know that when we do not see God's grace, we should first examine whether we are diligently observing and following God's Word!

Today, many Christians are most concerned about their work. Indeed, work is quite important, but if our minds are filled with our work and family, then how are we different from the Israelites in Jeremiah's time? So today I want to tell everyone one thing: the path to blessing requires paying a price, and being blessed is conditional, which is diligently observing and following God's Word. Not being blessed is also conditional, which is not diligently observing and following God's Word! Those who are cursed refer to them, and those who are blessed refer to us!

Today I want to explain several critical concepts to you. Those Israelites who were taken captive to Babylon were being trained there, doing things that were humiliating to national dignity, but God said they were good fig trees. Those who remained in Israel, God said they were bad fig trees. This is simply beyond our imagination.

What is the second thing that is difficult to explain? The Israelites' temple was destroyed, and the utensils in the temple were taken captive to Babylon. We would be puzzled as to why this was the case. We thought the gods of Babylon were more powerful than our God, but that is not the case! God does not care much about the temple; God cares about whether we diligently observe and follow His Word! That is why our Chinese Mingding Destiny emphasizes diligently observing and following God's Word. We must love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength. We must wisely make a wise choice. This is called the wisdom of choice! We also know very clearly that this way is not difficult to walk!

The third confusion is that Jeremiah was chosen by God, but we really do not see that God's thoughts towards Jeremiah were thoughts of peace. Actually, I am a little worried. Many years ago, God asked me if I was willing to die for Him, and I said I was willing. As a result, once these words were spoken, they were as difficult to retract as a gentleman's word. Things became a little troublesome. After reading the Book of Jeremiah, I did not want to be someone like Jeremiah. It was too hard! Today, I will first unravel these confusions for everyone one by one, and later I will lead everyone to study the Book of Jeremiah.

The first confusion: Why do we not see God's thoughts of peace in Jeremiah? In the time of Jeremiah, there were many prophets, and Jeremiah was one of them. The other prophets did not suffer the sins that Jeremiah suffered. Jeremiah was very hardworking throughout his life. This will cause a lot of confusion for everyone. God's thoughts towards Jeremiah were thoughts of peace, so why did such things happen? We have even greater confusion, which is that God's thoughts towards our Lord Jesus were even greater thoughts of peace, so why was the Lord Jesus beaten, crucified, and then buried?

This is a very important concept that our Chinese Mingding Destiny conveys, which is why we came into this world. Today, look at the testimonies among us. In this epidemic situation, salaries have increased. Is that not God's thoughts of peace towards them? It is thoughts of peace. But then the problem comes again. We pastors who serve God have suffered a lot of grievances. We have paid a great price for God and shed many tears for it. Do we have thoughts of peace in us? It turns out that this is our destiny!

So brothers and sisters, you must begin to ponder whether we really understand that God's thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace. What exactly is not a thought of disaster? This involves a very important topic, which is what exactly is our hope. People have different hopes and therefore have different pursuits. In Matthew chapter 7, it talks about two kingdoms, two different pursuits, and two foundations bearing two different fruits. It all depends on what people want!

Today, I really wish that our brothers and sisters could be blessed! At noon today, I received a call from a sister who teaches in a university. She had to reply to many emails sent by students, but she felt that the students were competing with the teacher. They pointed out that the teacher was wrong in this and that the questions were too difficult. This sister was very anxious, her hands were shaking when she was typing, and she was not in control of herself. She felt very wrong.

When she called me, I told her that the solution to this problem was very simple. In her previous church, she was taught that in such situations, she would fight, pray, and cast out demons, and she would be fine. In fact, this is unreasonable. Casting out demons requires finding a pastor. If you cast out demons alone, then we do not need a church. Everyone can build an altar at home, commune with God, and practice alone. Why do we still need a church? Facts have proved that this does not work. So I led her to fight and pray, and she was fine in a few minutes.

Do I think she received grace? She did. Where did this grace come from? It came from the Chinese Mingding Destiny faith system, from diligently observing and following God's Word. It came from a group of people who are willing to pay the price for God. Since you have received grace from those who are willing to pay the price for God, we should thank God. Are we willing to be such people ourselves? After reading the Book of Jeremiah, are we willing to be like the prophet Jeremiah? This is a difficult problem that God has given everyone!

Scripture

This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:10-11)

Prayer

God, You are a good God! Your thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace, and You have plans for prosperity in us. May Your words be fulfilled in us. Lord, may You open our minds and let us know what is revealed in the Book of Jeremiah. Let us understand that Your thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace. Lord, let us enter into Your wonderful plan today and become one of those people to whom You give thoughts of peace. Lord, let us also be able to imitate Jeremiah today. May Your wonderful plan be fulfilled in us. May we be able to take on the destiny of this generation and pass on Your grace and blessings, even if we pay the same price as Jeremiah. Today, may You also give us this heart to be able to imitate these prophets for our Mingding Destiny. May You enable the Mingding Destiny on us to be fulfilled in this generation. In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Background of the Book of Jeremiah

God then said:

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and will bring you back from captivity.[e] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.’ You may say, “The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,” but this is what the Lord says about the king who sits on David’s throne and all the people who remain in this city, your fellow citizens who did not go with you into exile— yes, this is what the Lord Almighty says: “I am sending against them sword, famine and plague, and I will make them like poor figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten. (Jeremiah 29:12-20)

This suddenly makes us very confused. One wave of thoughts towards them is thoughts of peace, and another wave makes them wander among all nations, a curse, scorn, and reproach. Does God have thoughts of peace toward people? Today, everyone must understand why God's thoughts towards us are thoughts of peace and why His thoughts towards them are thoughts of cursing. What is the difference between them and us? The difference between them and us lies in whether or not we diligently observe and follow God's Word!

If you read the Book of Jeremiah carefully, what will you read? You will read the repeated words of diligently observing, diligently observing, and diligently observing! In fact, this is no different from the Book of Deuteronomy written by Moses. Today, if you look around, carefully look at today's Christians, they will ask for leave when they go out for tourism or service, but they never ask for leave when they go out for tourism or work. If you hear me say this, do not assume that I'm talking about you. But you need to know what is coming.

Next, I will briefly introduce the Book of Jeremiah. This is what happened in the time of Jeremiah. God chose Jeremiah to be a prophet. At that time, the people of Judah in Israel continued not to diligently observe and follow God's Word. From the prophet Isaiah many years ago to the prophet Jeremiah more than a hundred years later (these two prophets were more than a hundred years apart). During these one hundred years, the two prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah continued to advise the people of Judah to fear God and diligently observe and follow God's Word!

The people listened, but it seemed that they hadn't heard. Does this look like today's Christians? So when I criticize today's Christians, some people will say that I am judging, but I am just telling the truth. As a result, in the year of Jeremiah, God raised up Nebuchadnezzar, the king of the Babylonian Empire, to attack the country of Judah. By the last chapter of the Book of Jeremiah, the country of Judah was destroyed by the Babylonian Empire!

Diligently Observe and Follow God's Word

In so many years of prophetic service, Jeremiah constantly declared, and the purpose of the declaration was to get them to turn away from the evil ways and the evil they had done. If you ask me if I want to be such a Jeremiah, I seem to have a little difficulty. For example, sometimes I am invited to preach. I said, Do you really want me to preach? If you really want me to preach, I will preach on 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and strength.' When I preached, the pastors below could not bear it. The pastors and congregations below felt uncomfortable as they listened. Why did they feel uncomfortable? Because all the examples I gave could be applied to them.

Many years ago, someone was teaching everyone to sing worship songs in a place where there were about a hundred Christian leaders and pastors. Among them, someone had a stomachache, but no one cared. Later, that person was in so much pain that he was finally sent to the hospital, but they were still singing there. That night, after I found out about this, I asked if I should call and ask how the person was doing. I could pray for him, and his stomachache would get better quickly. Because they still had to sing the next day.

As a result, when I called, he had been sent to the hospital. If I were to do this, I would know what God's will is. Today's Christians do not diligently observe and follow God's Word to the point of not knowing God's will. We think singing this song is important, but actually singing the song is not important. It was in the year of Jeremiah that there was still a group of people singing in the temple. Before the Babylonian Empire destroyed the temple and plundered the gold and silver utensils in the temple, they also arranged for singing. The question is, is singing so important?

If there are people who are controlled by demons or afflicted by diseases, shouldn't we release them from the control of demons? Today's church is often like this, and I often see such things. The other day when I was preaching, I talked about healing and deliverance. I asked how many people below had lumbar or cervical problems, because I thought this disease was relatively easy to deal with. As a result, most people raised their hands, a dark mass of people. I was wondering, what were those pastors doing? We are constantly doing healing and deliverance. There are prayers every night, and there are people in need every night. They do healing and deliverance once a month, some people do healing and deliverance once every three months, and sometimes they even hold a special conference to collect money. I am very sad that people do not know God's will.

God sits on His throne and sees His people suffering from these painful disturbances. Is there a pastor who says, These people are really suffering, shouldn't we pray and cry out to God and receive this healing and deliverance power? Today, our healing and deliverance power comes from a lot of prayer and seeking. God gives us this power because healing is God's will.

Today, the information that disease is God's blessing in disguise is everywhere. In Jeremiah's time, God constantly revealed to Jeremiah. From the time Jeremiah was called to be a prophet, God even said, You cannot start a family, you cannot fall in love, you cannot marry and have children. You are just a bachelor until you complete God's Mingding Destiny in this generation. God sent Jeremiah, but Jeremiah said:

Oh, that my head were a spring of water and my eyes a fountain of tears! I would weep day and night for the slain of my people. (Jeremiah 9:1)

I want to ask if it is possible to use the Book of Jeremiah to inspire our brothers and sisters to start seeing the desolation of this generation, to start becoming Jeremiah of this generation, and to start crying out for this generation, crying out for hope that more people will not perish but have eternal life. Today there are many strange things. I saw them discussing in the pastor group how to distinguish between Almighty God and Eastern Lightning. What is the benefit of distinguishing these? Can't a person who diligently observes and follows God's words be kept by God from the disturbance of Eastern Lightning? What is the benefit of a person who does not diligently observe and follow God's words even if he learns how to distinguish the heresy of Eastern Lightning?

So when the Babylonian Empire came to attack Israel, the prophets in that place said, It's okay, it's okay, it's always been peaceful, it must be peaceful, our God will definitely protect us. Does this sound like today's Christians? But Jeremiah said:

For this is what the Lord says: “I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; they will fall by the sword of their enemies while you watch. I will hand all Judah over to the king of Babylon, who will carry them away to Babylon or put them to the sword. I will deliver to their enemies all the wealth of this city—all its products, all its valuables and all the treasures of the kings of Judah. They will take it away as plunder and carry it off to Babylon. As for you, Pashhur, and all who live in your house, you will go into exile to Babylon. There you will die and be buried, you and all your friends to whom you have prophesied lies.’” (Jeremiah 20:4-6)

They still thought Jeremiah was a traitor. So brothers and sisters, think carefully about these things today and see clearly the situation of this generation. Like them and like us, that is, in the eyes of God, there are good fig trees and bad fig trees.

Those Chosen by God Are Protected; Those Abandoned by God Are Cursed

Let us examine the scriptures:

Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon carried Jehoiachin the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the officials of Judah, the craftsmen, and the metal workers from Jerusalem into exile in Babylon. After this, the Lord showed me two baskets of figs placed before the temple of the Lord. One basket had very good figs, like those that ripen early; the other basket had very bad figs, so bad they could not be eaten. Then the Lord asked me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” “Figs,” I answered. “The good ones are very good, but the bad ones are so bad they cannot be eaten.” Then the word of the Lord came to me: “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Like these good figs, I regard as good the exiles from Judah, whom I sent away from this place to the land of the Babylonians. My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back to this land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will plant them and not uproot them. I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.’ But this is what the Lord says: ‘Like the bad figs, which are so bad they cannot be eaten,’ so will I deal with Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials, the survivors from Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those living in Egypt. I will make them abhorrent and an offense to all the nations where I drive them. They will be a people cursed and scorned, mocked and ridiculed, wherever I banish them. I will send the sword, famine and plague against them until they are destroyed from the land I gave to them and their ancestors.’” (Jeremiah 24:1-10)

From this passage, we see that God protects those He chooses, and those He abandons will experience curses, plagues, and famine until they are wiped off the face of the earth. This is a great shock to people. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must be very clear today that you are a fig, a Christian, and figs represent God's people. Are you a good fig or a bad fig?

Today, brothers and sisters, you must know that Deuteronomy is written for Christians. If you carefully observe and follow, you will be blessed; if you do not carefully observe and follow, you will be cursed. Stop being ignorant Christians! Today, God's hand is tearing down churches that do not align with His heart. I do not particularly care whether many churches will scold me for saying this, but this is the prophecy that God has revealed to the prophets in this era. God is destroying many things that do not align with His heart in this era; the bad figs are too rotten, so God lets them experience many things.

Among some churches, there are some brothers and sisters who truly have Mingding Destiny and pursue God. God will surely protect them, choose them, lead them out of that place, and bring them to a new place, where they will be cared for and benefit. He will build them up and not tear them down; He will plant them and not uproot them. Then, God will give them a heart to know Him, to know that He is the Lord. They will be His people, and He will be their God, because they will return to God with all their heart! (See Jeremiah 24:5-7)

Today, in this era, I have a great hope: that every brother and sister among us can know God and carefully observe and follow His word. Our church has a characteristic: if you do not want to carefully observe and follow, you cannot stay in the church. Today, God is raising up a King Nebuchadnezzar in this era to punish the nations and also to punish His own people. But if we carefully observe and follow God's word, we are good figs in God's eyes, early ripe fruits in God's eyes, and you will surely be protected! Brothers and sisters, we must bear good fruit and not be rotten figs.

The Israelites of that time, both in their bones and outwardly, were full of worldly logic. You thought maintaining a Kingdom of Judah was the Kingdom of God. No! God does not care about the Kingdom of Judah at all. You thought maintaining the image of a temple, having a high priest and a few false prophets, constituted God's temple? No! You thought putting up a church sign meant God cared about that place? You thought putting a big cross on the roof meant God would protect that cross? No! What God cares about is whether His people carefully observe and follow His word!

Isn't it strange that those who were exiled were blessed? But those who remained were cursed. Why? Because that land had been cursed and defiled by those who did not carefully observe and follow God's word. Some brothers and sisters still think that leaving the original church is betraying the church and being disloyal. If you are willing to stay there and be loyal, you can stay there and be a bad fig; that is your choice. But if God values your heart and examines your heart, God will plunder you, that is, He will bind you to a blessed place even if you are unwilling, because you are determined in your heart to seek God.

Does God really care about so-called His people? No, God cares about those who truly belong to Him. God really does not care about hypocrites, false people of God. Does God really care about His prophets? God cares about true prophets. Does God really care about His temple? Not so much. God really cares about a group of people who are after His own heart. Today, in the era we are in, if we have some wisdom, we can think for ourselves and observe for ourselves.

What are the Israelites who remained in that place pursuing? What they care about is getting an official position in the Kingdom of Israel (the Kingdom of Judah was established on religion, and politics and religion were not separated. If you wanted to be an official, you had to get an official position in religion). Everyone was pursuing worldly things; they did not love God at all, nor did they want to carefully observe and follow God's word. They only wanted to gain benefits in the world. Brothers and sisters, what exactly is your hope?

Completely Shatter Worldly Logic Systems

Today, in the environment we are in, everyone must know for sure that God is indeed going to raise up the Chinese in this era. Prophet Rick Joyner said that God will raise up the Chinese in this era, and God will raise up a small group of Chinese to correct many absurd things in the Christian faith. Today, there are quite a few absurd things in the Christian faith! Are they in accordance with the Bible? No!

Many concepts are very popular in churches in the United States today, such as pastors keeping the Sabbath on Mondays because they have to work on Sundays. If someone calls the pastor on Monday, the pastor will be very angry and question, Do you know what day it is today? Today is my Sabbath; I don't work! So if someone calls him that day, he will get a lecture. Today, there are more and more pastors who have learned this kind of Sabbath.

Once, I attended a conference, and the pastor on the stage was very famous. The congregation handed in slips of paper asking the pastor what his hobbies were. Those two big-name pastors, one loved sports cars, and the other loved hunting. My colleague asked me what my hobby was, and I said I loved serving my God. It sounds grand and not very down-to-earth, but that is the reality. So the disciples I want to train are people who love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength.

If someone has something to do and cannot call the pastor on the Sabbath, isn't that very strange? Today, there are many pastors who keep the Sabbath. There was another pastor who also kept the Sabbath, and he later developed hydrocephalus. A friend of his saw that I ministered to people with hemiplegia, lumbar disc herniation, and cervical and lumbar problems, and they were all healed, so he insisted on bringing me to minister to this big-name pastor. I asked him how he got hydrocephalus. He said, Look, I only rest one day a week. I said, Isn't one day a week enough? Do those who serve God really need this Sabbath today? In the Old Testament of the Bible, did you see priests having a Sabbath? We who work with God and walk with God, where does the Sabbath come from? As long as we walk with God, every day is the Sabbath.

I said to this pastor, I am an unknown pastor. Before I minister to you, allow me to say something slightly offensive. From the time I was young, in my 20s, until today, I have not rested for a single day. I said not resting for a single day seems a bit exaggerated, but it is really true. But did I get hydrocephalus? No. Getting hydrocephalus has little to do with resting or not resting; it has a lot to do with whether we walk with God. What is the difference between resting one day and not resting for a single day? The difference lies in whether we love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength.

If we only put up a Christian sign, it is as if we are God's employees. I think many times diseases and plagues will come upon these people. Of course, I led this pastor in prayer, and his illness really improved a lot. He would fall asleep as soon as he wanted to work, and he couldn't fall asleep when he slept, which was very tiring. What I want to say is whether we should convey a concept in this generation, and this concept is the core system of our Chinese Mingding Destiny, which is to carefully observe and follow the way of God.

The value system of our Chinese Mingding Destiny is a system of faith that pays a price. Today, there are really not many Christians who are willing to pay the price. Especially during this epidemic, only a little over a hundred people connected online in a church of more than four thousand people. Where did the other three thousand go? It's really regrettable. What exactly is the church doing? Or is the church raising a group of rotten figs? If the church raises a group of rotten figs, you cannot be blessed by God. If you are a rotten fig, you simply cannot continue to stay among us. In any case, we must remove religious sentiments, national sentiments, and worldly logic systems, and begin to desire to become a group of people who have the thoughts of peace that God gives.

People are divided into good figs and bad figs. Today, we must completely shatter worldly logic systems, be Christians who pay the price, and carefully observe and follow God's word, even if it means laying down our lives. In fact, Jeremiah kept proclaiming that they should leave the evil they were doing, that each of them should turn back, and that they should listen carefully. But did they listen? They still didn't listen!

Today, if we are going to be Christians, let us be Christians who are good figs in God's eyes. Those who speak of peace, peace, are not true prophets. Those who speak more sternly, causing people to wake up from not carefully observing and following God's word, are true prophets. Some people will say, Peace, Jesus loves you, and I love you too. But if you really ask him to pay the price for you, he simply cannot pay it; he is nothing. Today we must remove all these confusions.

Imitate Jeremiah and Pay All the Price for Mingding Destiny

Jeremiah was very hard, was that the thought of peace that God gave? Jeremiah ministered to and fro, it was very hard.

In Jeremiah chapter 20, the scripture writes:

When Pashhur son of Immer, the chief officer in the temple of the Lord, heard Jeremiah prophesying these things, he had Jeremiah the prophet beaten and put in the stocks at the Upper Gate of Benjamin at the Lord’s temple. The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him, “The Lord’s name for you is not Pashhur, but Magor-Missabib [Terror on Every Side]. For this is what the Lord says: ‘I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; with your own eyes you will see them fall by the sword of their enemies. I will give all Judah into the hands of the king of Babylon, who will carry them away as exiles to Babylon and put them to the sword. (Jeremiah 20:1-6)

As a result, Jeremiah offended the chief officer of the Lord's temple. Do you think his life would be easy? The chief officer of the Lord's temple was a very high position in Israel, almost like the chief steward in the palace. After that, this Pashhur tormented him, and he was tormented all day long, which was very hard. This Pashhur could really put him in prison. As a result, Jeremiah complained to the Lord in chapter 20, verse 7:

You deceived me, Lord, and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me. Whenever I speak, I cry out proclaiming violence and destruction. So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long. But if I say, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,” his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. I hear many whispering, “Terror on every side! Report him! Let’s report him!” All my friends are waiting for me to slip, saying, “Perhaps he will be deceived; then we can overpower him and take our revenge on him.” But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will be thoroughly disgraced, their dishonor will never be forgotten. Lord Almighty, you who examine the righteous and probe the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause. Sing to the Lord! Give praise to the Lord! He rescues the life of the poor from the hands of the wicked. Cursed be the day I was born; may the day my mother bore me not be blessed! Cursed be the man who brought my father the news, who made him very glad, saying, “A son is born to you!” May that man be like the towns the Lord overthrew without pity. May he hear wailing in the morning, a battle cry at noon. For he did not kill me in my mother’s womb, so she might have been my grave, her womb enlarging forever. Why did I ever come out of the womb to see trouble and sorrow, so that my days end in shame? (Jeremiah 20:7-18)

When you hear these words, you will find that Jeremiah was very hard. So why was he so hard? This was his Mingding Destiny. You will ask, where is the thought of peace in the Lord's intentions toward him? In fact, the Lord God's intentions toward His people are thoughts of peace, but these thoughts of peace were declared through Jeremiah's mouth. Jeremiah kept declaring, calling people to turn to God, to carefully observe and follow God's word, hoping that they would not fall into the curse. As a result, those people harmed him.

What a person with Mingding Destiny seeks is not his own benefit, but that people can receive God's benefits. Isn't our Lord Jesus also like this? Today we must know for sure that Jeremiah sought the benefit of the Israelites! All those who have Mingding Destiny hope that others will benefit. Jeremiah used his head as water and his eyes as a fountain of tears, weeping and pleading for God's people who were killed. Why? Because this was his Mingding Destiny.

We watch with our own eyes as God's people are destroyed and live in curses, and we risk that little bit, even if we are misunderstood, what a big deal is that? There is nothing great about it. Why is my ministry among us effective? Why do I pray and those people are healed and delivered? Because I have said very stimulating and sobering words to these people, hoping that they can turn around and get out of the evil way and walk in God's Mingding Destiny.

Jeremiah only wanted to save more people, to enable more people to enter into God's good, peaceful, and prosperous will and plan, hoping that they could repent. Jeremiah suffered for the sake of God's word and the Mingding Destiny God had for him. This is called bearing the suffering of people and taking on the pain of people. Therefore, brothers and sisters, if you want to preach the pure word, it is not to say pleasing words to people, but to say words that edify people, and we have not hesitated to say what is beneficial to them, lest God demand payment from you.

Do our brothers and sisters understand which road you are on? Everyone likes to say nice things, and I like them too. But when I say nice things and people do not benefit, I feel uncomfortable, as if fire is shut up in my bones. I cannot do what they do, which is also very strange. Even if it offends people, let it offend. If you are not whom I minister to and have some illusions about my ministry, in fact, my ministry is stricter than your pastoral area leader, just like the alcohol content is higher.

We must come out of this kind of people-pleasing ministry and become a person with Mingding Destiny, driving people, according to God's word, to carefully observe and follow God's word. That is truly the way of blessing! The most difficult thing is to suffer people's misunderstanding in this process, and even many people hate us because of these words, which is not difficult to understand. They even hated Jesus, and all the prophets were killed one by one. Later, when Jesus came, they also crucified Him. Today, people with Mingding Destiny will surely pay the price for our God.

Although Jeremiah did not really want to be Jeremiah, he also knew that he had no better choice. Do we also have such people among us today? It is not that we are willing, but because we know that this is the most beautiful choice. Originally, in God's Mingding Destiny, God predestined a group of people to be like Jeremiah, to intercede for this generation, to preach the true word that people do not like in this generation, to preach a faith that pays the price, to preach an effective faith that can bring people into prosperity.

Today, are you willing to be Jeremiah? If you are willing to be Jeremiah, pray this prayer with me: Lord Jesus, may you raise me up in this generation, let me be a blessing to this generation, let me see the desolation of this generation, let me see that this generation is like Jeremiah's generation, full of false prophets and full of false messages of false peace, but today you will raise me up to preach the way of carefully observing and following your word, to preach the way of blessing, and to preach your thoughts of peace; Lord, may your people enter into your plan, God, may you raise me up to be a blessing to many people, just as your glory is manifested in this generation! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
