Introduction
The logic within people differs, and the Word of God, when it enters them, produces varying effects. How is it that from the same Bible, people derive so many different interpretations? I am quite astonished, indeed, it is rather alarming. Some time ago, I watched a video where someone stated that building a family well is equivalent to building a church, and further claimed that healing the sick and casting out demons do not align with the Bible’s teachings. I was perplexed; are not healing the sick and casting out demons explicitly recorded in the Bible? The logical framework within a person is truly critical.
Yesterday, someone forwarded me a chat log: This generation no longer has apostles, nor prophets, and God has ceased to speak. I find this puzzling, as God has never stopped speaking. Following the Pentateuch, there are the Books of Judges, Samuel, and various prophetic books. God has, in fact, been continuously speaking!
Thus, if a person’s logical framework is not corrected, their understanding of God’s Word will be greatly distorted.
Scripture
The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?” He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.” In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has grown calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’” (Matthew 13:10-15)
Prayer
Lord Jesus, open our eyes and ears, so that we may believe and receive entirely according to Your Word, and even if it does not align with our logic, let us receive according to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Adjusting Inherent Logic Systems
People often like to do what they think is right. Programmers, if their program does not run, know that there is a problem with their code that needs adjustment. Similarly, with renovations, if something appears wrong after completion, one knows there is an issue requiring adjustment. However, self-righteousness is perilous. I once ministered to a Japanese student suffering from depression, whose maternal grandfather was unable to walk. The local preacher was also present in their home. She called me, and I led her and her grandfather in prayer. After two hours, her grandfather was able to walk. However, shortly afterward, she blocked me.
I was baffled; I did not understand what had happened. But I boldly made a guess: the two traditional preachers in her family, believing in their orthodoxy, considered me a heretic. If you are so orthodox, why couldn't you enable her grandfather to walk? It was I who enabled her grandfather to walk! Yet, she subsequently blocked me. Those who come from traditional theology must be very cautious about their concepts. You may think you have grasped the truth, but it may not necessarily be so, as this scripture says:
For this people’s heart has grown calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them. (Matthew 13:15)
If one is self-righteous, it is difficult to receive healing. A sister came to me from a distant place and received physical healing. Upon returning home, she had a meal with a close friend, who warned her: “Be careful! This is a Charismatic!” Consequently, the sister left the group! In fact, her friend did not read the Bible much and had little understanding of biblical truth. I began to wonder, how could a few words lead to such extremism?
We possess many self-righteous notions, you know? There are truly many erroneous theological concepts. I know someone whose wife suffered from brain cancer and was on the verge of being sent to hospice care. I prayed with her, and her condition improved. I urged them to believe in the Lord steadfastly! But they did not; they went on a trip together, and upon returning, her condition deteriorated again. The local church showed great care, bringing soup to the hospital, but possessed no other capability. Yet, it was I who could enable his wife to walk. He felt that the local church was loving, and that what I did did not count as love. I believe these concepts are truly lethal.
Let me say something you may not like: Sickness is absolutely a curse. If you do not break free from erroneous thought systems, it will be difficult to receive healing. Our healing and deliverance must advance further towards the Word of God. People have a habit: any word we deem incorrect, we automatically filter out upon hearing or seeing it. If the word does not conform to one's own system, one will not understand it even upon seeing it. For example, a wife reads the Bible and sees that a husband should love his wife as Jesus loves the church, and thinks: Ah, my husband should love me! But the next sentence: Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as the church submits to Christ, she does not see; she automatically blocks this word. Can such a reading truly lead one to truth? No, it cannot.
Removing Self-Righteousness
Many people today are replicas of the Pharisees, who had a self-righteous system. Gentiles may not distinguish who is God, but the Pharisees read the Bible daily, yet when Jesus came into the world, they did not know Him because they had preconceived notions. It was this group that crucified the Lord Jesus. The Pharisees are old wineskins, and the concepts of traditional theology are very poisonous. God likes people to be constantly renewed and transformed, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God.
How is the leaven of the Pharisees made? They read the Bible daily but do not actively seek to know God. Reading Pastor Rick Joyner's articles, I saw that the first trait that corrupts a person's character is pride, and the second is self-righteousness. I find that I truly cannot minister to those who are self-righteous, because they have their own logical system. If they cannot let go of their self-righteousness, then let them suffer a little more.
I know a brother who developed depression in his church. He has his own pastor, but his pastor could not deliver him because their suggestion was to take antidepressant medication. If I told him to cast out demons, he would resist me. Such illnesses are truly not good things; they are closely related to curses.
The Pharisees, carrying traditional concepts, denied what Jesus did. Does that which is unlike Jesus become orthodox? Does that which is like Jesus become heretical? When Jesus healed a blind man, the Pharisees did not see the healing Jesus performed but felt that Jesus violated the Sabbath. Jesus rebuked them, saying: That the seeing will become blind, and that the blind shall see.
Today, many brothers and sisters in traditional churches suffer from depression and a host of illnesses, with problems in their shoulders, back, and arms, but they cannot be resolved. Self-righteousness is truly critical. Know that sickness is not a good thing; illness is absolutely a curse, not a blessing in disguise.
Many pastors I know carry sleeping pills in their bags, suffer from a host of illnesses, and often have insomnia. If Jesus came into this world, would Jesus heal you? Jesus would. Today, seeing so many problems, should we not seek the root cause of the problems? Once, a pastor with hemorrhoids said it was a blessing in disguise from God. I have never read in the Bible about any blessing in disguise; illness is absolutely a curse. Do not think that you have comforted people; that cannot solve their problems.
Do You Want to Be Like Jesus?
The key is to understand whether we are like Jesus or not. A pastor who contracted cancer tried to explain certain issues using a phenomenon. Even if thousands or tens of thousands contract cancer, it cannot overturn God's Word, which stands firm in heaven and never changes. It will not be abolished because of anyone.
Not being like Jesus is a serious problem. The key is to pursue being like Jesus. Many today believe in this charismatic movement or that evangelical movement. The issue is not about these denominations but whether we are like Jesus. You and I have a Bible in our hands. The Bible was written with the blood of many prophets. Today is a time of revival of Jesus. God wants to completely overturn traditional theological concepts.
If you develop a webpage, you know if you have done it right when you click on the website. If you do not believe in the Lord but think you are doing everything right, don't you think it's absurd? Some brothers and sisters would be in a terrible state if they had not come among us. Can we establish a correct understanding of illness? Behind illness are evil spirits. This concept may not fit your logical system, but it doesn't matter; you can think about it carefully. The Bible says it well: self-righteousness cannot solve problems; only those who seek will have the door opened.
I once told a story about a friend, a Christian sister, who participated with her pastor in ministering to a girl. The girl became pregnant without being married, and they told her not to have an abortion because abortion is shedding human blood. After they finished ministering, the girl gave birth to the child, but she did not have the means to support herself, let alone raise a child. It was too difficult.
Then one day, the girl wanted to jump off a building to commit suicide. They told her: you can't commit suicide; what will happen to the child if you commit suicide? When the child was two years old, the girl jumped off the building with the child in her arms. If the girl had had an abortion, killing one person, now she killed two people. Who has the blood of this girl on them? I tell you, erroneous theological concepts that do not conform to the Bible—they still think they are doing everything right. Recently, I also came into contact with some Christians who talked about how they infiltrated the homosexual community to convert these homosexuals.
Constructing a Godly Logical System
The responsibility of Christians is to build a glorious church. Some famous pastors think that building a family is building a church. Today, we must establish a systematic set of theological concepts, a complete system of belief. What exactly is the destiny of a Christian? The destiny of Christians is to bring God's people into the Kingdom of God. Is the destiny of Christians to build a family? This world will become increasingly corrupt, like the days of Sodom and the days of Noah.
Throughout history, which of the Israeli prophets criticized Jacob for being a deceiver? None of them did! Why do many churches not resemble Jesus? Because they often speak words that are not in the Bible, following their own logical system. Today, we must restore the truth of the Bible, restore God's Word, not to Martin Luther, but to the Apostle Paul, to Jesus Christ, and do healing and deliverance like Jesus Christ. Some time ago, I told a brother who loves the Lord very much that I wanted to carry out a religious reformation in this generation, and it scared him. Later, when I sent him a text message, he didn't dare to reply, as if he were about to be contaminated.
When I shared the concept of an online church with many famous pastors, their reactions were very negative. Many people do superficial work, not fighting, running to church, only focusing on family, and living a small life. You must dedicate your land and children to God's Kingdom, lay down these things for God, or you are not worthy to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus. God sent a prophet, Rick Joyner, who prophesied that a group of people would rise up to manifest God's glory, completely removing the erroneous logical system in people's hearts. God is preparing this group of people to build a glorious and victorious church in this generation.
The most important thing in a person's life is to build a victorious and glorious church. Open your ears and enter God's truth, and God will enable us to do what Jesus Christ did. Today, there are too many things inside us that need to be removed. This era is an era of the restoration of God's truth. We must pave the way for the second coming of Jesus Christ, so that the whole earth may see God's glory through us, and everyone who comes seeking will receive healing and deliverance. What is our logical system today? If the logical system in your heart is still focused on family, you will specifically look for scriptures about family; if you care about money, you will specifically look for scriptures about money; if you care about work, you will look for those scriptures about blessings at work. The logical system inside you determines whether you selectively read God's Word.
Today, we must do global healing and deliverance. Whatever is bound on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever is released on earth is already released in heaven. To bring prisoners out of jail and to set the captives free is exactly what God wants.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:19)
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free. (Luke 4:18)
Some say, I only pursue the Kingdom of God; let the pastors do the healing and casting out demons. I am surprised. Isn't the Kingdom of God coming through healing and casting out demons? If you don't heal the sick and cast out demons, where does the Kingdom of God come from?
Summary
Let us shape ourselves well, equip ourselves with God's Word, go all over the world, and spread the gospel to the ends of the earth, to Jerusalem. If we are not like Jesus, we will never give up. We must completely restore a Bible-based belief system, remove the erroneous logical system within us, and construct a godly logical system! May God bless everyone!
