Review

Last week, the pastor shared that God wants to make our names great. This week, I have begun to see that God is indeed making our names great. A sister who left the church came back to tell the pastor and me that it is not easy to find a satisfactory church after leaving our church. Because we have become accustomed to high standards of gatherings, we cannot accept churches with lower standards. The truth is, it is not easy to find a church with as many gatherings and such high standards of ministry and service norms as ours. Our reputation is constantly expanding in Singapore, and even in China, our popularity is growing. I believe that in the near future, we will subvert the history of the church world, we will subvert many countries, and God will make us greatly influential.

On Friday, the pastor visited the Neiliang Lingliang Church in Taiwan. A prophet prayed for the pastor. The core leadership of our church was amazed by the prophecy given to the pastor by the prophet. He said that we would build a temple in three years, that we would continue to renew and break through, and then subvert the places our gospel touches. Many pastors will come to us to learn from us. He also said that we must not be complacent in our comfort zones, and we should not think that what we have today is safe, but we must constantly break through. Our church team must also keep up, and we must not hold on to old ideas and systems. We must stand at the forefront of church history.

Thank the Lord for giving our pastor and the core leadership of the church such a prophecy through this prophet. I think God's Mingding Destiny, the destiny for our church is great, not a small one. In such a destiny, our brothers and sisters need to run fast to keep up, instead of staying in the old understanding of God. It is not that what we did in the past was wrong, but those things were God's revelation and our understanding of God in the past, but we must know that God often sends new revelations, and our current state is very different from what it was two months ago. The word that the prophet spoke the most was keep up. He kept emphasizing run fast and keep up, run fast and keep up, because the frequency of God's iterative updates of revelation among us is getting higher and higher, and we cannot help but keep up. It is God who is opening His veil, throwing out His charm to attract us, and we must run fast to keep up with Him. God is constantly releasing His attraction, and it is God who wants to use us. If we respond to God's call, we must keep up. I used to be puzzled by one thing: why can the pastor and his wife stay up all night? Now I am also starting to enjoy this feeling of being alert and tireless. I cannot feel sleepy until 4 o'clock, and sometimes I am not sleepy all night. The Spirit of God is driving us into a crazy journey. I think 24-hour worship, 24-hour prayer, and 24-hour Bible study are not outrageous for us now. God is using us to do something extremely beautiful, and this is just the beginning.

Scripture: Acts 2:41-42 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Yearning to Be a Normal Christian

Our passage today appears in the Book of Acts. What happened before Peter preached and 3,000 people believed? One thing happened: 120 disciples were praying there, and after praying for a week, the Holy Spirit poured down and filled everyone, and everyone began to speak in tongues as if they were drunk. Can you imagine the longing of the people at that time? Nothing happened for a week, but they persevered in prayer. Then Peter preached and 3,000 people believed, and then the apostles' miracles began to happen everywhere.

Today, we see that we are full of exciting testimonies. Sister DH, the wife of Brother DS, was paralyzed in bed and was completely healed. Brother DS's father and son also had some mental and physical problems and were also healed. Sister ZW, who could not speak, can now read the Bible. I have seen patients with schizophrenia like LJ constantly recovering. There are also many that I have not named, such as testimonies of financial turnaround, testimonies of physical healing, testimonies of mental illness healing, and so on. There are so many of these testimonies that we wish we could continue sharing until the end of the Bible study every Wednesday and Friday. God has done extremely wonderful things among us.

But do you know what? I came to the church in 2012. At that time, it took us several months to pray for a patient with depression. At that time, our efficiency in healing and deliverance was far less than it is today. Today, when a patient with depression comes, it takes about 3-5 minutes to pray, or a little longer, no more than an hour, to be victorious. But in 2012, we could not do this at all. Today, you will see that our church is full of jaw-dropping testimonies. After hearing these testimonies, I am often stunned. This is the beginning of madness. But what prepared for this crazy beginning was the hope and perseverance in the pastor in 2012.

This kind of hope and perseverance is like the 120 disciples. Nothing happened for a week, but they believed that God would send down the Holy Spirit. The real crazy start did not start today, but the real crazy start started with a holy dissatisfaction in the pastor. From the time I came to the church, the pastor often said that he was not willing to build a mediocre church. The pastor believes that the church should be the same as what is written in the Bible. The church should be built like the one Paul built, and it should be full of miracles and wonders like in the days of the apostles. So at that time, the pastor led the brothers and sisters of the church to kneel down and pray, praying and yearning for God to accomplish the appearance of the church built by the Apostle Paul among us. This prayer lasted for several years, and today we finally see a little of what it looked like at that time. You know, it is very wonderful for a person to be filled with the Spirit of God. The Bible describes those people as if they were drunk. What is it like to be drunk? Isn't it a crazy look? Today, God wants to make us crazy. I think God is clearly with us. Seeing so many testimonies among us, even a dull person knows that God is clearly with us. Such a great presence began with a dissatisfied heart in the pastor, and then this dissatisfaction was passed on to us. The prayer of a group of dissatisfied people has led to today's madness.

A Heart That Is Not Afraid of Death

Another achievement of today's madness is the strong and courageous spirit passed down to us by the pastor, a mind that is not even afraid of death. 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

In the roadmap for church development, we have fought against the spirit of gossip, the spirit of lust and sexual immorality, the spirit of death, and so on, large and small battles. Until more than half a year ago, we ushered in the biggest enemy, which is the spirit of distinguishing good and evil. This battle has brought great destruction and division to the church. I know that the pastor at that time, as well as many church leaders and co-workers, were in a situation of being attacked from all sides and feeling troubled! Every night we wanted to give up pastoring, but we got up again during the day to sort out our feelings, and then we were not even afraid of death, and we would serve God even if we died. When we were knocked down, we got up; when we were knocked down, we got up; and when we were knocked down again, we got up again. That is how we fought, and finally the spirit of distinguishing good and evil was able to be trampled under our feet. Today, the core leadership team of our church has reached unprecedented unity, and we have seen the devil and the enemy being defeated among us.
We are not only strong and courageous, but we also serve with bloodshed. A pastor in Taiwan named Pastor Xu Qingci said a sentence like this: If you want your co-workers or members to shed a drop of blood, then you must shed a bucket of blood. I think today we are not only willing to shed a bucket of blood, but we are serving God with a faith that we will die if we die, not just a bucket of blood, but even if the blood flows into a river, we must be strong and courageous. What I see today is not the leaders of the church shedding a bucket of blood. I see many new brothers and sisters who come to the church can serve with bloodshed. Sister XM is so lovely. She just came to us and set the alarm clock at 4 o'clock in the morning. She was worried that no one would serve at this time, so she set a time to get up and serve. If an ordinary new brother or sister is like this, then if you are a leader who has been in the church for a long time, shouldn’t you serve with bloodshed? We see that there are still many people waiting for us to serve. What is so great about sleeping less? How can anyone criticize the church for developing so fast? Could it be that everyone has forgotten the history of the church? Are we going to continue to endure the healing and deliverance of a patient for several months today? Isn't our service with bloodshed for these sick people, for the brothers and sisters in need to be released quickly and live a normal life?

What's more, people who are not afraid of death will not die; people who are not afraid of bleeding, God often lets us experience prosperity and live happily! This is maintaining health by serving. Sister JR was still praying for others 3 hours before giving birth, and the result was that the child was born 2 hours later, and the child was very healthy, not only healthy but also very easy to raise. I have also heard many testimonies of people who are released and healed by serving others. Sister WY had tonsillitis. On Friday night, she took Sister QL, Sister LQ, Brother YJ, and Brother SH to pray and serve these people. After serving, her own throat pain was much better. Later, I called Sister WY, and her voice sounded much clearer. I think this is the meaning of always carrying the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven and gave the Holy Spirit. A person who does not have the Spirit of God dwelling in him caters to the flesh and maintains himself, and sleeping is also useless. Because catering to the flesh is death, a person who is not afraid of death can live well, but a person who wants to live well will die.

Therefore, I encourage the brothers and sisters of the church, whether you are new or have been in our midst for a long time. Wake up quickly, don't sleep anymore. Today, God can do such crazy healing work among us, all because our pastor led us in the past with a mindset that was not afraid of death. Are you still going to spare your own flesh today and not keep up quickly?

Those Who Are Willing to Follow

Next, I will talk about those who are willing to follow. It is painful for a leader to have no team. Thank God our church has a strong team, led by the pastor, we are willing to closely follow the pastor and live out a life of inheritance. If from the very beginning until now no one was willing to inherit, then we would not experience such a crazy presence of God in our church today.

I am a leader who absolutely inherits from the pastor. In my dictionary, I do not allow myself to have any disagreement. Sister LN recently shared a sentence with me that I thought was particularly good. In Romans 13:1-2, let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. Disobedience and disagreement are great sins. Disagreeing with authority is resisting God. This is a very serious problem. Why are so many people able to receive healing among us today? If the pastor does healing and deliverance, and I don’t do it either, and you don’t do it either, and everyone doesn’t do it, doesn’t inherit it, then do you think that God’s presence, the crazy operation of the Holy Spirit among us today, would be accomplished? I encourage everyone to become a person of inheritance. Doing your own thing will not add any benefit to the kingdom of God.

Training Soldiers of the Kingdom of God

When we have a group of people who are willing to follow, we will begin to establish a military culture in the church.

Ephesians 6:10-18
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Eph 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Eph 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
Eph 6:15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Eph 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Eph 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests; with this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Rom 8:6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Renewed Every Day

Romans 12:1-2

Rom 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
Rom 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
