Introduction

Good morning, everyone. We continue with the sixth session of the series The Gospel of Jesus Christ, with the theme Freedom for the Oppressed. If you connect the previous sessions to this one, you might notice that the Gospel of Jesus seems quite different from what you hear in church. Jesus' Gospel is like this, so how come the Gospel in our church is about the choir and celebrating Christmas? How come people in our church get epilepsy and cancer after believing in the Lord? Why haven't I seen the blind see, or the lame walk, and why have some who could see become blind? Aren't you confused in such a church?

I once ministered to someone who developed cancer after attending church for three years. He came to me and was healed. After the healing, I said, You should also learn about giving. No, I want to go back to my original church. Then go back, if you're not afraid of dying. He went back.

Two years later, I asked about him and found out that for the past two years, he had been lying down, unable to breathe, and unable to sleep while sitting. I wondered if his brain had grown onto his backside. Anyone with a bit of sense, using their heels to think, would know that something was wrong. I worshiped God in that church and got cancer after three years, why would I stay there? This person was just being difficult. Later, I thought that I must make my brothers and sisters smarter.

Another person had brain cancer and was even more difficult. She was a highly educated professional, with a very high position in the government. Her husband was a friend of mine. After she got brain cancer, her husband remembered me. I prayed with her, and she was healed. At the time, another cancer patient sought me out and was also healed. After they were healed, I couldn't find them anymore.

I asked them, What have you been doing? Why aren't you praying? Why aren't you believing in the Lord properly? Pastor, I can't believe in that thing of yours, it demands too much sacrifice. And our original church is very loving, the brothers and sisters in our church make soup for me, they are very loving. Oh, then go back quickly. Then they went around having fun.

As you all know, older women like to wander around hills covered in flowers, strike a pose for a photo, and then post it on their moments. I saw her moments, the flowers were beautiful, but the person wasn't as beautiful, the flowers overshadowed her. Three months later, my friend came to me again, and said his wife suddenly had a relapse and died the next day. Alas, I lamented, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a Gospel of eating, drinking, and merrymaking. You must know that eating, drinking, and merrymaking attract demons.

You say, Then what's the point of living? How is living like this pointless? I make the blind see, heal brain cancer, heal this and heal that, I find it very meaningful. Others find it meaningless, they find it more meaningful to be a pile of dung among a sea of flowers.

I think this kind of oppression exists in many people, and this oppression is basically related to ignorance. If a person is ignorant, it is a fatal matter. For example, in the case I just mentioned, she didn't know, if she knew, she wouldn't have done that, right? If she continued like that, she would eventually reach the end of the line.

What is oppression? Oppression is being very unfree inside, very twisted. Do you all feel this? There is an evil force inside, that is called oppression. For example, walking a short distance makes you sweat all over, extremely tired, and breathless, that is oppression. All these things are related to spiritual oppression. Some people say, It feels like I'm carrying a wok lid on my back when I walk. Some people say, It feels like I'm carrying fifty pounds of rice. How do you think it would be to live carrying fifty pounds of rice?

A few days ago, I ministered to an elderly person. This elderly person was very unfree inside, and I was very clear that she was very unfree. She was a good person, but she had a habit of being too embarrassed to refuse anything, she feared everything. If you asked to borrow money, she would be too embarrassed and lend you the money, so the elderly person's money was all borrowed.

This elderly person's niece is among us, and this niece serves her aunt, who has many illnesses. I tell you, I like to do one thing, to set the oppressed free. Although this niece wants to release her aunt, her own family has this bad habit, they are all under this oppression. I saw that this wouldn't do, so I took over.

At the time, this aunt couldn't control her bowel movements, she didn't sleep well, sometimes she could only sleep for an hour, her legs were wobbly and bent when she walked, her knees hurt a lot, and it was very hard for her to walk. She was in her seventies, almost eighty, can you imagine what the following years would be like? Everyone knows what it would be like, even those with bad brains know.

Actually, the relationship between her niece and her is more like a mother and daughter. Because this sister was raised by her aunt, she slept in the same bed with her aunt since she was a child. Ah, our church is still very humane, I cooperate with her to serve her aunt. I went to see her in person and found out that there was a wicked woman who specifically bullied people, such a person is truly accursed. She rented the aunt's house but didn't pay rent, and then filled it with a lot of junk. She rented her one bedroom, but occupied two bedrooms and the living room, isn't that awful?

The elderly person was very troubled, she wanted her to take it away, but she was too embarrassed to say it, so she lived among a pile of junk. Isn't that inviting a wolf into the house? The living room and bedroom were like a garbage dump. What do you say? She said she rented the house but didn't live there, didn't pay rent, and the elderly person was too embarrassed to say it.

Now that person has started to move things out, why? Because I taught her niece how to send a message to this bastard. What is this? People are not free, why are people not free? Because there is no truth inside. She is also a believer, she has believed in the Lord for thirty years, but she has not been released in the church, and more restrictions have been added.

You know, many churches don't set people free from restrictions, they add a few more restrictions to you. Maybe I want to release you, but you may misunderstand, and think that I am adding another restriction. Actually, I tell you, I am shocked by many situations. Over the past few years in the church circle, I have seen many such things, so later I thought, what kind of Gospel should we preach? We should preach the Gospel that Jesus Christ preached.

One sister went to a church that highly esteemed the five-fold ministry. Do you know what the five-fold ministry is? Today the church has apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists, a total of five ministries. Then their church set up some prophets, I don't know how they became prophets, I don't know.

One day when the pastor's wife had a headache while playing the piano, the prophet closed his eyes and pointed his hand, The arrow is shot from over there. He opened his eyes and saw it was a certain sister. Oh, that certain sister didn't know what was happening, just because the prophet pointed his finger, that sister said, What arrow did I shoot? I didn't shoot any arrow! Oh my goodness, it scared her to death. Then they asked her to go home and write a letter of repentance, not knowing what to repent for, so she wrote whatever she could, as much as she could.

As a result, they held a criticism session for this sister in the church, I felt that this thing was familiar. They were only short of giving her a paper tube to wear as a tall hat, writing counter-revolutionary on it. Everyone was scared, those who were not pointed at thought, Ah, I wasn't pointed at today. Those who were pointed at also exclaimed, Wow, I was finally pointed at today. My God! Everyone was scared.

Later, this sister came among us and shared with me. One day someone had a headache, and a finger pointed at her. Fortunately, that prophet said: it wasn't shot from her, it was shot from the top of her head, then you have to repent too. After this sister returned home, her mother saw that her daughter's face was not right, it was getting uglier and uglier every day. Do you think she wouldn't be ugly living in that kind of feeling? She was oppressed. I am telling you a true story.

What are you doing building a church like this? Is that God's church? That's not called freedom for the oppressed, that's called oppression for the free. This five-fold ministry is very harmful. If I were there, I would ask, How do I know you are a prophet? I tell you, he definitely couldn't answer. If you point your finger at people one day, I would say, How do you know you are pointing correctly? It's all metaphysics.

Chinese Mingding Doctrine plays with reason! The word play that I used is the doing of these things, it is reason. We must have sufficient faith in reason; we must be fully aware of God's will in reason, this is our Chinese Mingding Doctrine, Chinese Mingding Doctrine does not engage in these metaphysics.

After a while, she came to Singapore to find me, and we prayed with her. My God, she vomited a lot of filth, released from left to right, this root of poison was very deep. Several years later, she spoke to me and said, Our pastor doesn't preach like you. I told everyone that this person was deeply poisoned. Oh, I am not her pastor, her pastor is still in the original church.

I said, You are so oppressed there, how can you still say 'our pastor'? I am not trying to steal that position, what would I do with that? I just lament, when can brothers and sisters become a little smarter? The Gospel we receive is to set the oppressed free, not to add a little oppression to the free, not just a little, maybe a few more points.

You know, there is a special thing in the church environment, and this special thing is that pastors have a pain, and I have it too. That is, brothers and sisters leave and go to other churches, that is a pain. Do you all know? You definitely know, you say, How do you know? I saw that our original pastor, his nose wasn't a nose, his face wasn't a face. I have personally experienced others saying this to me.

Now the problem comes, what do you do when people want to leave? I tell you, I encourage him to walk well, I am not God, God will surely lead your way. Although I am really in pain, I don't want to release lies, saying that you are not loyal, I don't do that. I understand this feeling, I have experienced it myself, but I can't use various means to restrict and oppress people, causing them to lose their freedom. I won't tell him whether you are loyal or not, and make a big fuss to blackmail people.

Sometimes, I like to tell past stories. After they hear them, they say before leaving: Pastor, can you not curse me after I leave? I said: No curse, no curse. I was thinking, what logic is this? They are afraid that I will curse them. I will never keep people, I will not blackmail people, I will not curse people, but stories can be told.

I don't want to build my own kingdom, I don't want to see brothers and sisters being oppressed, I don't want to release lies among brothers and sisters; I hope to see the Kingdom of God, I hope to see brothers and sisters live out the glorious freedom of the children of God. I say this with my chest out, I have a clear conscience.

But this is how I do it, the people below me are not necessarily so. Remember, the people below me are not necessarily what they seem. I am not ruining the image of our young shepherds, nor am I ruining the image of our district leaders, I am letting your faith be built on God. Do you understand? Don't build it on me.

There was a sister who seemed very loyal in the church, she experienced the transformation from loser to success with me, but there were still loser elements in her bones, I haven't had time to clear them. One day, a sister she was pastoring was about to die. Why? She was pastoring people with fear, she was releasing something quite evil. I hoped that she could improve, but she didn't improve much, and my pastoral care was not very successful.

When I saw that this wouldn't do, I took over. I took over and pastored her personally. The person was dying, about to die. If she continued to pastor, the number of oppressed people would only increase. Isn't that the same as other churches releasing fear by pointing fingers? I served here and there, and the person recovered and came back to life. Then we taught her how to study, and she passed the certificate for her industry, and recently gave a testimony.

But later her pastor called all the other group leaders and said: Do you know, she went to another district leader behind my back, that's called disloyalty. I was thinking, she pastored the person until she was dying and didn't care, this person is quite wicked.

How did I know about this? After she left, I took over her group. After I took over, this sister has experienced a lot of favor recently, and she is very attentive in doing work and serving. Then someone said, Teacher, when she left to go to another district, our pastor told us that it was called disloyalty, and warned us to be loyal to her. Isn't that nonsense? When did I ask you to be loyal to me? The only thing I ask is that brothers and sisters can live happily, can be a smart person, can be a person with the free image of a child of God.

There are also some people who are abominable, If you want to contact the pastor, you have to go through me. That's quite confused, why do you have to go through you? When people want to complain about you, they have to go through you? We don't have this requirement among us. When I preach, I say, if your group leader asks you to do this, don't believe it, I'm giving you a heads up.

Later I thought, what should I do? I have to shepherd little by little. Thank God, I have faith in God inside. If this person is Joseph, no matter who pastures him, they cannot ruin him; if you are not Joseph, even if Joseph pastures you, it won't work. All kinds of oppression appear in the church, so brothers and sisters, you rarely hear me talk about obedience, I don't talk about this much, because this thing is quite scary. This thing of obedience is useless. It is most important that people are willing to follow you. People get grace and benefits here, why wouldn't they follow? People are restricted here, why would they follow?

If I were a manager of a company, I would often ask myself: Why wouldn't people resign and go to a better place? Why would people work for me? If I were a pastor of a church, why would people follow me? Everyone must know that this is the right approach, not demanding it from others. Look, my small group is dwindling, it's so embarrassing! Turns out it's all about saving face. If everyone leaves, you must reflect on whether your pastoral care is terrible, whether you have cared for people to the point of exhaustion without realizing it. This is not right.

Therefore, there is no suppression or coercion among us. What is required is for people to become wiser. I long for the brothers and sisters to become wise and follow God's path, to be filled with the knowledge of God in understanding, and to have full confidence in understanding. Although I say this, sometimes my actions involve pulling and dragging, even kicking and shoving. Don't misunderstand this pulling and dragging, even kicking and shoving, as control, do you understand?

Pastoring is not easy. You have to deal with your fleshly desires, right? You have to deal with the bad habits in you, right? What's the problem? The key lies in whose benefit you seek. Remember, the Apostle Paul taught me not to seek my own benefit, but to hope that people can gain more of the benefits of the Gospel, and that those who are oppressed can be set free. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Have you seen Jesus control anyone? Did Jesus control people? Did He demand their loyalty? Did He demand their obedience? None of that. People followed Him willingly. If no one is willing to follow you, you have to wonder if there is something wrong with yourself. Why are people suppressed? Because they do not know the Gospel in their understanding, because this Gospel is about setting the captives free, giving sight to the blind, and setting the oppressed free. Remember, the sky will not fall. People live by God, not by anyone else. Our God has already redeemed us, especially our bodies.

Someone says, Pastor, actually, I'm not afraid of death. But I'm afraid of pain. God can solve your pain. Can't God solve your pain? Oh, I'm just afraid of being paralyzed in bed and causing trouble for my children. Don't worry, believe in God's power. God has already redeemed your body. Our God is a God of healing. How can you not live well by relying on God? In our life, we don't need a wheelchair too much, we just need God. Healing from sickness is a key component of the Gospel. The problem of money, the problem of education, the problem of living, are all satisfied in Jesus Christ. So what are you worried about? What are you suppressing?

As a pastor like me, I often hear melodramatic stories. I just hope that everyone can grow well in Jesus Christ. Recently, I took over a new sister who was brought by another sister. She has been among us for some time. Why? Because they have benefited here, and then they tell others. The sister who came first told her how good Mingding Doctrine is. But the person said, What's the use? I'm not going, I still have a choir. Then, when she reached retirement age, she suddenly had epilepsy and broke her waist. She remembered Mingding Doctrine and called our sister again, so let's serve her.

Let me tell you, this sister has a lot of dirt in her head. That container placed in the outer courtyard is weathered by wind and rain, with soil and ash, and eventually it grows scale. If you want to clean a scaled vessel, you have to add some sulfuric acid and some detergent. You have to wash it thoroughly. Various detergents have been invented now, and I think the church also has to invent various detergents. Then wash it clean.

After this cleanup, this sister is slowly becoming obedient. Her epilepsy has not recurred since the 26th of last month. So when I was preaching the Book of Habakkuk, I talked about a logic that God's anger is also God's action. How can we be saved without God's anger? Can you believe in the Gospel without lying in the hospital? With so much dirt in your head. I thank God's anger, which is God's action. If God wants to save us, He has to do it through these things.

There is another sister who has a problem, which is that she can't control her anger. She said, Teacher, what should I do if I can't control it? This sister's life is also very melodramatic. When she was young, she married a husband, had children, and the husband had an affair. Then the sister got angry and developed breast cancer. She described to me that when she soaked in the bathtub, blood and pus flowed out of her breasts, and the bathtub was full of blood. It was really scary.

Later, she divorced, and her first love also divorced. The two got back together. You can imagine how the script will continue to play out. Can the couple not get angry together? That has to be made into a TV series, with old stories being dug up. They were fine when they were first in love, but how did they become like this now? When I prayed with her, the breast was still flowing with yellow water.

She said, I can't control it. It's because there is no freedom. Can't control it, why? There is no knowledge in people. So I teach everyone a knowledge, which is that everything must pay attention to rewards. I've talked so much about the oppressed being set free. Uncontrollable means no freedom. Now, by relying on the Lord, gain freedom, and gradually overcome the suppressed things inside; gradually recover lost ground; gradually become wiser; gradually know what things have rewards and what things have no rewards.

There is no reward when you are angry. People have an affair, and it's like a piece of beef on the meat stall meeting a piece of pork. Two pieces of meat meet together, so what are you angry about at home? Don't you think it's strange? No, that's my dignity. I explained to her that his mother gave birth to him, and your mother gave birth to you. What does it matter? It doesn't matter. He is not yours. He is his mother's treasure; you are your mother's treasure, so don't put two treasures together. They can't become treasures together.

Brothers and sisters, many things need to be done step by step. Many people play虚的, always thinking about being in a hurry, wanting to take a bite and become fat, but as a result, they didn't eat it, and their teeth were broken. That's really breaking teeth and swallowing blood. Let's not be anxious. Be full of grace in Jesus Christ, solve one problem at a time, solve one control at a time, remove one oppression at a time, until one day you can live out the glorious freedom of God's children. Amen!

Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He said to them, Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing. (Luke 4:16-21)

Prayer

God, open our eyes and let us see what a glorious hope there is in your Gospel. God, also open our spiritual eyes and let us know what a great power this Gospel has. God, let us know that not only this life, but also the life to come, is surpassed. God, lead us into this pure Gospel today and let all the needs in our lives be met.

God, you have not only redeemed us, but also redeemed our bodies. You are our healer, you are our provider, you are the answer to all our problems. Lead us into this powerful Gospel today and let us become like you, to set the captives free, give sight to the blind, and set the oppressed free. Use me so that I can become like you. Let me receive the title of son and also share in God's glory. In the name of Jesus Christ! Amen!

Scripture Background

The Lord Jesus proved that he was the Son of God with his miracles and great power. You know that in Nazareth, he turned water into wine, and many were healed. Jesus returned to Galilee full of the power of the Holy Spirit, and his fame spread throughout the region. Doing these things proves one thing: God cares about your problems. If there is a shortage of wine, change it to wine; if you are sick, give you healing; if you are ignorant, give you wisdom. The problems of eating, drinking, and life are all solved in Jesus Christ.

I think Jesus is so good, so real. Unlike some people, Ah, you have already believed, and you can go to heaven when you die. How do I know if I can go to heaven? Oh, you have already been justified by faith. Then what does it mean to be justified? Don't know; what to believe? How to believe? Don't know, don't know anything, just know the four words justified by faith. Then you ask him what is faith? Don't know; what is justification? Don't know, anyway, you can go to heaven when you die. I tell you you can't go. You say, I have been justified by faith, how can I not go to heaven? Because your faith is not the faith of Abraham; your righteousness is not the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Because Jesus Christ wants disciples, Jesus Christ wants us to live out the glory of God when we are alive. How can I not see the glory of God in you? I only see angels falling on you. People are in this world to preach the Gospel. What Gospel should they preach? Preach a Gospel that all our needs are met in Jesus Christ. For example, why do we work? Because we work to earn money; then why am I afraid? Because I am afraid of losing this job and losing this money. In fact, you really don't need to worry. Can't Jesus give you a job? Even if there is no job in this world, can't God create a job for you?

A sister was unemployed the year before last. In fact, we usually see that she is pretty good. After she was unemployed, we investigated and found that she had no skills, only one skill is playing 假的. How long can that忽悠 last? Our church likes to be down-to-earth. One of our colleagues said, The whole house customization thing is okay. What if she doesn't have this skill?

We made a plan for her, found courseware and courses for her, and she studied. After studying for a few months, she found a job. After finding a job, she changed to another job and did a good job with good performance. As a result, she found another job last week with double the base salary. Does everyone think it sounds good? Can't Jesus solve the problem of living?

If Jesus Christ is the God of the dead, then don't live. No, our Jesus Christ is the God of the living. It is very hard if the problem of the body is not solved; it is very hard if the problem of eating and drinking is not solved. God cares not only about your soul, but also about your body. He also redeems your body.

Now be filled with hope and believe in a Gospel of redemption of the body. All those who live in the flesh have hope. We used to live in the flesh, and people were involuntarily in the world, but now there is no such problem. We have hope, our Lord has already redeemed us, He is the God who heals us, He is the God who supplies us.

I have a good friend who told me that his middle school deskmate had passed away. I said, He didn't come either, what did he pass away for? He said, No, he's gone. Ah, died. This Chinese character is not easy to use now, you can't talk nonsense, now you can't even say 上路. 上路, went on that road to the underworld. People are going to board a plane, you say 一路走好. Trouble! Can't say. Anyway, this Chinese word is very deadly now, you can't say what you could say before.

Then he said another friend, we are all very familiar, we grew up together, recently sick. Oh, I felt bad. I thought to myself, why didn't he come to me? He would be blessed if he came to me. I do this kind of thing. Many people's diseases are getting the benefits of this Gospel because of the Gospel I believe in. I said, Old classmates, I will boldly tell you that if you are sick, you can come to me, I have good news here. They don't seem to understand.

Why did Jesus Christ speak this passage in the synagogue? It is speaking to people of our time. People of our time do not know what this Gospel is. Some brothers and sisters hear it and say, This is good. The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. When you send it to the group, someone immediately pops up and says, How come, are you the only one who is spiritual? It's choking.

Let me tell you, it is difficult to preach the pure Gospel, it is not difficult to preach a lie. I tell you, Jesus Christ made the blind see, not made his spiritual eyes see, but made his physical eyes see. He really made the blind from birth see. When we explain it, for example, after I finished preaching last week, some sisters said, Teacher, why don't you talk about spiritual eyes? I said, Other churches talk about spiritual eyes, I am talking about physical eyes.

Did Jesus make him see with his physical eyes? I am afraid that everyone will understand it as spiritual eyes. No, the physical eyes saw it. You said how can a blind person live his whole life? A prostitute was oppressed by seven demons, and the Lord Jesus healed her; that cripple really had his physical legs healed. I thank my God that this is what I read out of the Bible. Someone said, Then why are you so carnal? No, no, no, Jesus' spiritual things solved the carnal things. Jesus' spiritual Gospel, the powerful Gospel solved the carnal problems, so the carnal problems reflect the spiritual problems, that's how it is.

Jesus came and paid the price so that we can live out the glorious freedom of the children of God, not to go to heaven after death. Sometimes I joke, Go to heaven after death? That's going to hell, isn't it? That's nonsense. If you don't have the likeness of God while alive, what's the point of going to heaven after death? Who knows if it's the western one or the eastern one.

When I think of the grace God has given us, how great that grace is, and how rich and glorious the power that is manifested. Jesus was afraid that later people would turn his gospel into one that oppresses people, causing the seeing to be blind, and those who were not originally captive to become captive. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.

From now on, no more fear, no more worry, strive to know God. Our bodies must be taken back little by little and offered to God, from now on living for God, for the Lord who died for us, living for him, that is the gospel. Jesus was afraid that we would mess it up, so he recorded this content. Jesus overcame the temptations of the devil, and then what? He began to preach this powerful gospel.

This Gospel is the Power of God

Romans 8:11:

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. (Romans 8:11)

Do you understand? It is our mortal bodies that come to life, not our mortal souls. This is so well said. Our body was originally a physical body, and our body will attract many oppressions. Everyone must know that the body and the flesh are not quite the same. The body is indeed fleshly, but what is the flesh? It is the lust of the flesh.

Why are there lusts of the flesh? Because I live in the flesh, man is iron, food is steel, and I will be hungry if I don't eat a meal, so I have to eat; then I have to have money to eat; if I want to have money, I have to earn money, that's the logic. As a result, the flesh leads people into the lusts of the flesh, which is very painful. I don't want to be like this, but I can't help but be like this, there is no freedom.

Who wants to be a corrupt official? Living in fear and trembling, so tired of being scared out of your wits when someone comes to investigate you, no one wants to. But you have to live, and you enter a vicious cycle. I have to live; I have to have money to live; I have to earn money; I have to be greedy to earn money. Then not only do I live, but my wife, children, and brother-in-law have to be taken care of, right? He doesn't understand that living is a very simple thing.

A few days ago, I was chatting with a sister, and she told me that it is not easy to be an official. At worst, I will be an ordinary employee, anyway, I am in the system, if you ask me to do it, I won't do it. It is not easy to have such determination, because she has God behind her! We know that God will surely protect us, and God will also surely supply our needs, so are you still suppressed? Isn't the problem of the flesh solved?

Once the problem of living is solved, it gives life to our mortal bodies, that is, the thing that seeks death and produces the lusts of the flesh. Why? Because all needs are met. The gospel of Jesus can be eaten as medicine, eaten as food, and spent as money. Those who believe in the Lord are not short of money. If you look carefully at those who believe in the Lord, Abraham is not short of money, Isaac is not short of money, Jacob is not short of money, and Joseph is not short of money.

You need to know that Abraham started from scratch and made a fortune. He had nothing, and he made a fortune. You say, How do you know? I guessed. Jacob really started from scratch and made a fortune. Was he short of money? Later, I discovered that God said that those who trust in God are not short of money, but those who trust in money are short of money. Now everyone understands why you are short of money, right? You always trust in money, so aren't you being controlled?

Our bodies have come to life again! In the past, it was a body that took death, but now it is a body that takes life! Following the Spirit of God. We cannot do without a body, but the flesh and the body are not the same thing. The flesh is the lust of the flesh, and the body is our normal body. So we live in the body, and then we have God to trust in, how good this gospel is! This gospel is the power of God to save all who believe! So why be a corrupt official, living in fear and trembling, with everyone around you going in, leaving you alone, how scary. Don't love money, love God.

We are all Children of God

We are all children of God, can we be short of money? No shortage of money. Romans 8:14-17:

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him. (Romans 8:14-17)

This is well said, we obey the Spirit of God. Is it hard? It's hard. Where is it hard? It is hard to put to death the lusts of the flesh. We are children, so we can inherit God's inheritance. If we want to inherit God's inheritance, we must suffer with Jesus Christ. What suffering did Jesus Christ suffer? He nailed the flesh to the cross. What suffering do we suffer with Jesus Christ? It is not easy to put to death the lusts of the flesh, it is not easy for the flesh to die completely, because it comes as soon as you fix it, it comes as soon as you fix it.

Imagine, if you put a stack of money on your desk, wouldn't you be tempted? That's lying. Of course, you have to see how much money is in that stack. If you put ten thousand yuan in front of Jack Ma, forget it, it's useless. So I'm telling you, people are still tempted when money is thrown on the table. Then we must exercise our faith day by day, and then be glorified with God. Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross in the flesh, and then resurrected from the dead, and from then on, he was glorified with God.

So let our mortal bodies live again! I tell you that Christians do not need to die and come back to life in the grave. We are baptized into the death of Jesus Christ, and coming up from the water is a sign of resurrection. But this process is not completed all at once in the water, that is just the beginning. So this suffering is the suffering of putting the flesh to death, and then we will be glorified together! Our mortal bodies will live again.

I ask you, will Jesus be short of money? Jesus will not be short of money; will Jesus be short of food? No shortage of food. Why? Because he is the power of God. If the power of God is on us, and then puts to death the lusts of the flesh, the result is that we eat better, understand? So we are children of God, and we are glorified with God. This process is the process of gaining freedom. No longer subject to any oppression, no longer subject to any control. If you can know this in your understanding, and you have faith in it, then it is amazing.

We are children of God, who are able to make the blind see and set the oppressed free. We must first be free, and then we can set the oppressed free. Let the Spirit of God work in us. Oh, this is so good! How good it would be if a person had this peace of mind in life and lacked nothing. Unlike some people, as soon as they see an opportunity, they go all in. They didn't have any money in the first place, and then they lost a little more. So stop worrying, the only thing we worry about is that we don't know God.

Enjoy the Glorious Freedom of the Children of God

Why redeem our bodies? The needs of the body are real, it's true that you get hungry if you don't eat, that's true. Let's not talk about empty words or big words, being bedridden is a tragedy, and today the body is redeemed. Romans 8:21-23:

That the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. (Romans 8:21-23)

You say, Do I become a son as soon as I believe in Jesus? No, if you believe in Jesus, you may still be a slave. In order for a person to become a son of God and enjoy the glorious freedom of the children of God, he must wait for the adoption as sons, which means that a person grows up spiritually, is full of the stature of Jesus Christ, and then takes all of our flesh and manages it in our own hands, no longer being oppressed or controlled, and then offers our bodies as a living sacrifice to God, and at that time we receive the title of son of God.

So I tell you that gaining the title of son of God is a step-by-step process. Don't try to do it all at once. Everyone should remember that wanting to do it all at once is very corrupting. Oh, the Holy Spirit came down and I suddenly became Jesus. How could that be? Suddenly become another person? Maybe you'll suddenly become Nezha, that's not how it works.

What's going on? It's taking back our bodies little by little. Our bodies were originally taking death, but now we are taking them back little by little, just like the Israelites entering the Promised Land, taking it back little by little. Originally, the Israelites entering the Promised Land was a foreshadowing of our taking back what belongs to the devil and giving it to God. So take back all our thoughts and intentions and turn them to Jesus Christ, that's amazing.

In the past, we have been conveying the concept of a road to ascent, constantly climbing and growing, and then enjoying the glorious freedom of the children of God. Look at how well this is said: the creation still hopes to be freed from the bondage of corruption and enjoy the glorious freedom of the children of God, but we who have the firstfruits of the Spirit also groan inwardly. Why? Because this is just the beginning.

Next, rely on the Holy Spirit to constantly take back our bodies. What is there to be afraid of? What can oppress us? Nothing. So you suddenly become flexible, I suddenly become flexible. This suddenly may be three years, or it may be five years. Don't pursue that snap. You think the problem will be solved by snapping your fingers, but that's not the case.

We Have Great Hope

Read Romans 8:24-25:

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. (Romans 8:24-25)

Do we hope to go to heaven after death? No. I tell you that we are saved by the redemption of our bodies, we have this hope. Why do we hope for what we do not see? Because that land has not yet been obtained, but in our faith and in our hope, we have already obtained it. What we hope for is what we have not yet obtained. Who hopes for what they have already obtained? That doesn't make sense.

Have you not yet taken back all of your body and turned it to Jesus Christ? Have you not yet gotten rid of all of your lusts of the flesh? You still have this and that kind of control in you, but I tell you that we must have a hope, this hope is that we can gain the title of son in this world and enjoy the glorious freedom of the children of God. I think this enjoyment of the glorious freedom of the children of God is so good, I don't know how to explain it to you, my language skills are not good enough, but this thing is really like this.

Let me describe the road I have walked in the past, it was all based on hope. Someone once gave me a prophecy, he said, You are in a dark tunnel. This sounded very similar to my situation at the time. I was walking forward in a dark tunnel, in a very, very far place, a very, very long dark tunnel, there was a beam of light in front, that was the glorious freedom of the children of God. I carried this hope and worked as a pastor for many years.

Then one day, oh my god, I suddenly became free. Saying it was suddenly, it actually took many years. Who gave me this suggestion? Rick Joyner, who told me to start climbing spiritual peaks. I can't see it, but I know that my hope will not be put to shame, my God will surely lead me to live out the glorious freedom of the children of God, this is so good.

Now I am giving everyone a message, no one can take away this blessing from us, because God has predestined you in eternity to gain the title of son and predestined us to be glorified. Look at what He says:

And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. (Romans 8:30)

Lift up your faith, since you have believed in the Lord and received the promised Holy Spirit, then say in faith that you are the one whom he foreknew, predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, have you not been called? And those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. That is a glory that overcomes the body, because the needs of our bodies are met in Jesus Christ.

I am still very excited in my heart to preach this sermon. I have re-sorted it out and found that this gospel is so good, why not want such a good gospel? I am really glad that everyone has walked the same road as me, and in the future we will continue to run towards this road until we wait for the title of son and enjoy the glorious freedom of the children of God!
