【Sermon】- The Heavenly Father Knows Our Needs!

2021-10-31 17,539 Sermon God's Righteousness The Kingdom of God Joy Divine Provision Anxiety Lack

Introduction

Greetings everyone! Today, I want to share a topic rarely discussed within Chinese Mingding Destiny: The Father Knows Our Needs. Chinese Mingding Destiny often emphasizes spiritual warfare, making this topic less frequent. However, today's topic is excellent. Imagine the comfort in knowing that the Father knows all your needs and fulfills them all!

The spiritual warfare prayer emphasized in Chinese Mingding Destiny operates on a different level. Why? Because this is the Kingdom of God, and no one constantly bickers and fights within their own home. The real battle lies in the continuous outward expansion of God’s Kingdom! Inside God's Kingdom, we lack nothing, which I believe offers immense comfort. If you are still experiencing lack, then this message is for you.

In recent years, I have never experienced lack. Is it due to my great abilities? Actually, it has nothing to do with my abilities, but everything to do with this: God supplies all our needs! Many find my words too abstract, so let me share something concrete.

Humanity has invented many strange theories. Yesterday, I saw a politician in a video suggesting that the world is overpopulated and needs to reduce the population through war. Why? Because resources are insufficient. During my childhood, it was said that the earth could only support four billion people, otherwise resources would be depleted. Then it increased to five billion, and it was said that the world could only support six billion people. Now, it's grown to seven billion.

Are resources truly lacking? Resources far exceed our imagination. Our Father supplies our needs in ways we cannot imagine, it is not that the earth can only accommodate so many people. Can't the Father create resources? Of course! Now, there are seven billion people on earth. Do you know how much food is produced on our planet? It's enough not only for us to eat, but also to feed chickens, ducks, cows, and sheep.

Today, when you go to McDonald's, which one doesn't offer chicken? KFC is full of chicken and beef. Were there so many resources before? Our Father not only makes the sun shine on the wicked and the righteous, but He has also prepared abundant grace because He knows our needs. We find that worldly theories are repeatedly overturned and are not particularly useful.

For instance, during my childhood, oil resources were scarce, and they remain so today. In the 1960s, people said oil would run out. In the 1970s, it had not. In the 1970s, they said it would run out, but many oil fields were discovered worldwide. We humans believe we are very clever in discovering oil fields. Do you think we found them ourselves? God had prepared them long ago. Some predicted that oil would be depleted by 2020, but even now, it has not happened!

The theory of depletion causes great anxiety because we do not realize that God has long prepared. Some do not believe in God and dismiss these things. I have found that humanity has a terrible habit called worry. People constantly worry about the future, to the point where they cannot stop worrying. There is a Chinese saying: He who gives no thought to the future will find sorrow near at hand. But what comes of constant worry?

Brothers and sisters who are still worried, let it go. Don't worry, living is simple, and our Father knows all your needs. Everything you need will be provided by God. It is your habit of worry that makes your life miserable.

Letting Go of Worry, Trusting the Father's Provision

We Chinese invented the term 杞人忧天 (Qi Ren You Tian - man of Qi worrying about the sky falling), always feeling like the sky is about to collapse. There is no need to worry. Even if the sky falls, there are taller people to hold it up. Worry solves nothing; instead, worry only brings illness. Isn't today's topic wonderful? I tell you, it's not just empty words; it's my personal experience. It is good to have God! It is good to have God's provision! It is good to have days without worry!

Recently, a brother always looked troubled. I was puzzled because his father was healthy, and he was young, so what was there to worry about? He told me that he had been frequently talking with his father, who had a million dollars and didn't know how to spend it. How could he not know how to spend it? The brother told me that if his father got cancer, it would cost $300,000; if he got another disease, it would cost $200,000; and he needed $600,000 to study in Australia, which wasn't enough.

How many people have a million dollars? Not many, not even in Singapore. People worry when they have nothing else to do. I asked him if his father had cancer. No! Did he have that other disease? No! Then why worry? Worry is terrible! Nothing is happening, yet they are miserable. People are foolish! You have to think carefully in life. You need some wisdom.

The other day, I saw a video of a ninety-year-old woman casually crossing her legs, which looked great. She was talking on the phone, and it was a delight to watch! Why? Because she often listens to my sermons, she is more robust now in her nineties than she was in her eighties. In her eighties I met her, and we had a conflict. I corrected her.

Why did I conflict with this elder? Because she had many strange ideas. I like to bless others, so I figured, she is already in her eighties or nineties, who else would I bless? If I didn't bless her, I would miss the chance! I gradually dealt with the chaotic things inside her. It was not easy! The elder even cried, saying I was too harsh. But to bless someone, you must remove the nonsense from their heart, so that they can live well!

I removed the worries from this elder's heart, so that she became increasingly joyful in her nineties. And she is indeed a learned person. I thank God that her legs are better, and most importantly, the things in her mind are also improving. She also likes to listen to my sermons and share them with others.

If you live to be a hundred, there will be 36,500 days in your life. It's not long! We must not waste those 36,500 days worrying. Worry is too common in our lives . People are often full of worry. Many worry about starting elementary school before even attending. As a result, many rushed to buy school district housing, only to see the prices plummet. There was no one who would respond to their cries; no one would help. Recently, educational reforms caused plans to fall through.

Worry leads to poor decisions. So what fills those 36,000 days of living? Know that the Father provides, and you lack nothing. They say my words are uplifting, bringing joy! Joy eliminates worry because it's a mental choice! This is high reward!

Trusting the Father, Letting Go of Worry

Our Father provides for our needs throughout our lives, so we lack nothing. We are honest and fearless. But many do not believe and must worry, and become uncomfortable when they are not sick. We need to know that we can be joyful without spending money. How? Simply make a mental choice: My Father knows all my needs; my Father will provide for me; I will lack nothing in my life; I don't need to worry about this or that. You will feel good. Seven billion people are alive and well. Nine billion and then over ten billion… It’s alright! God still provides!

Scripture

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:25-34)

Prayer

God, today we let go of worry and trust in You. You tell us to let go of worry, and we release our worries! You tell us that you, Father, know what we need; we trust that our needs are met in the Father! God, today, we no longer seek what the pagans seek. In the pagan path, all they seek is delusion. We have the Father, so we are not like the pagans.

Today, we trust in our Father and step into the prosperity and abundance the Father has prepared for us. God, according to Your words, remove the worry from our hearts so we can joyfully seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and live out Your glory on this earth! God, work in us today. Release those among us who worry from their worries! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

What does this scripture tell us?

The things the Lord Jesus wants to tell us are abundant. He wants us to know not to worry, as the Father has already prepared all these things for us. Why does Jesus talk so much? Some call Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7 the Sermon on the Mount. Many have spoken on these chapters, but I believe mine is the best because I grasp the key points. For instance:

No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. (Matthew 6:24)

Through this scripture, the Lord Jesus tells us which path you rely on. If you rely on money (Mammon), it will not solve the problem of worry. Some who have money worry that if there is 3%, 4%, or 5% inflation, their $3 million will decrease. So, they invest in P2P, and the $3 million vanishes. Even with inflation, the $3 million would not simply disappear! Why do people do this? Because of worry!

**People who rely on money are often deceived by money, but those that trust God will not deceived **. What do you value? In this world, if you worry constantly. If you trust God, worry disappears, but many don’t know the heart of peace upon trusting in God!

The Lord Jesus brought much controversy when saying:

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew 6:26)

Some would ask: Then I will neither sow nor reap, and sitting at home, wait for death” This says what? It’s a lack of understanding! This scripture teaches us not to worry, because worry will not benefit us. People primarily worry about what to eat, drink, and wear. Perhaps someone just wants to buy a large home. Even for a large home, you don't need to worry!

Recently, someone wanted to compete with others and insisted on buying a 200-square-meter house, even though their current 100-square-meter house was fine! How much space do you need? They insisted on buying a 200-square-meter house. As a result, the 200-square-meter house added extra worry, and that person was miserable.

This scripture tells us not to worry. There are too many reasons to worry, but it says:

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:32-33)

**In God’s Kingdom there's never lack. **

We are more valuable than birds

Jesus quotes a line:

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” (Matthew 6:26)

Man does not know how valuable he is in God's eyes. How valuable is he? God sees man as very precious. The Lord Jesus, the Son of the eternal God, was incarnated and came into the world. God used the life of His only begotten Son to redeem us. You are much more valuable than the birds! We must see ourselves as God sees us. Do not ever think that you are nothing. If you are nothing, why did Jesus shed His blood and sacrifice Himself for you on the cross?

Some time ago, I fell ill and was lying in bed. Someone asked me if I had gone to the hospital. I said that I did not like going to the hospital and relied on prayer to pull through. Now I am well and can preach to you. When I was lying in bed, a vision of Jesus being nailed to the cross appeared in my mind. At that moment, tears streamed down my face. Why? Because I felt that Jesus was nailed to the cross, and I was standing below watching. Jesus looked at me with tender affection, and this feeling was very real.

Recognising Your Worth, Trusting in God's Provision

A voice appeared in my heart: I am much more valuable than the birds. God said, Child, I know your pain. I could then appreciate how precious we are in God's eyes. In the past years, no matter what I encountered, I never blamed God, never saying, God, why did this happen? I know that my God died for me on the cross to free me from this delusion.

In the past years, in any situation, because of my trust in God, I knew that I have a God who loves me, who gave Himself for me, who shed His blood and sacrificed Himself for me, to release me from this worry and death, to bring me into eternal glory. I am much more valuable than these birds. God knows all my needs. The facts have proven this to be true. Our God is too good! Thank God, I recovered very quickly.

Today, I want to share with you an extremely precious truth. When I was in pain and had difficulty breathing, I relied on a very simple prayer. I told our co-workers to be constantly filled with the Holy Spirit. I knew an old man who lived to a great age and was later taken by God. Whenever he had nothing to do, he would shout, Fill me with the Holy Spirit.

This experience of being sick made me even more aware that God has given me His most precious Holy Spirit. From now on, do not shortchange yourself. Always ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I deeply repented before God. I had too little time being filled with the Holy Spirit, often not having time to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Although I often ministered and led people to pray more than most people, it was still not enough.

Therefore, today, we brothers and sisters must confirm one thing: We are much more valuable than the birds. But why do some things still happen? Do not ask why. There is only one thing. We have abundant grace in God. Will the Heavenly Father not give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?

We must always be filled with the Holy Spirit, come out of the delusion of worry, and know how valuable we are in God's eyes. We are redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ! Do not look at yourself like dog excrement. Look at yourself as God sees you. All who belong to God will never lack in their lives.

We must never be like the Gentiles. The difference between Gentiles and those in the Kingdom is too great. The Gentiles live by their own swords, while those in the Kingdom rely on God's provision. We rely on God to remove worry, and what we do is very enjoyable, enjoying what our hands have done. Certainly, it is better than working all day with worry. We are much more valuable than the birds. You and I are bought and redeemed by the blood of Jesus, so do not worry today. The Heavenly Father used the life of His only begotten Son to redeem us. How precious we are!

Do Not Get Things Backwards

A person who puts the cart before the horse will not be successful. Grasp the fundamental things.

Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25)

Some people say that clothes are better than the body. If the body is not yours, where will you wear the clothes? So life is more than food, and the body is more than clothes. We must know not to get these things backwards, because it is the Gentiles who get them backwards. Our Heavenly Father knows all our needs, and He will surely provide. We will not lack. We must be clear about what our needs are. What is most fundamental to us? Trusting in God will not result in any lack.

Trusting God's Provision, Staying Away from Worry and Lack

Some people always feel that I promote Chinese Mingding Destiny too much. Chinese Mingding Destiny is what God is providing! Those churches that are not Chinese Mingding Destiny, God is also providing for them! A friend of mine recently built a new church. Although I may not agree with the concept, God still provides for him. Because people also have a heart that loves God! God's heart is so broad and very faithful. God provides for all churches that belong to God. If you trust Him, He will provide.

Brothers and sisters, know that God does not supply us because we are good enough, but because we trust Him. We are not living by the sword, not fighting with our own strength, but by trusting Him. Those who trust in Him will not be put to shame. God has not been indebted to those who trust in Him.

Do not get things backwards. Food is more important than life, and the body is more important than clothes. Many people like to argue there. After the argument, God says, You of little faith! A person without faith should not expect to receive anything from God. If you have faith, build a church with faith, and God will supply you; hire employees to pastor with faith, and God will supply you; trust in God with faith, and God will also supply you.

What good news we have today! Our Heavenly Father knows all our needs, and He will surely provide for us. This is comforting to hear!

Why Do People Lack?

This world is divided into Gentiles and those in the Kingdom or this people and that people. Why do some people lack? Because you only see the Gentiles. This world is divided into two kingdoms and two pursuits. This is the theme of my teaching on the Gospel of Matthew.

After seeing lack, the ingrained bad habit of worry develops in people's minds. Why? Because they often see lack, lacking this and lacking that. They are not in the Kingdom of God; they belong to the Gentiles. The Gentiles pursue these things and develop a logical system. How is this system formed? Due to people's understanding of living, coupled with something in this world called the devil, and the devil often steals, kills, and destroys.

When we were young, there was a play called The White Haired Girl. The White Haired Girl's father was named Yang Bailao. His family was very poor. How did he end up like this? We attributed the reason to Huang Shiren. At that time, the actor who played Huang Shiren played it so realistically that he was beaten up on the street. People hated Huang Shiren, this oppressor of the people. This is the Gentile view. But Jesus spoke of being in the Kingdom of God, where our Heavenly Father knows all our needs.

This world is a jungle where the strong prey on the weak. If you have money, people will snatch it. For example, Isaac dug a well and it was snatched away. Isaac was relatively gentle. If it was snatched away, it was snatched away. He moved to another place and dug another well, and it was snatched away again. Know that water is a very important resource. As a result, Isaac kept moving until no one snatched from him. He blessed those who snatched the previous wells, and Isaac never lacked water, and he called the place where he dug the well a broad place.

Today, brothers and sisters, know that from a human point of view, Isaac was bullied. From Isaac's point of view, he would think that my Heavenly Father will surely provide for me; He knows all my needs. In the Bible, Isaac never complained. Isaac was a man of God and was still robbed, let alone the people of the world. You rob me, and I rob you. This situation is common. Later, many Huang Shirens and many Yang Bailaos were formed.

Living in God's Kingdom, Enjoying Abundant Provision

Let us consider: Why do people lack? Because this is a world where the strong prey on the weak. If we are not in this world, there will be none of these things in God's Kingdom. The devil comes to steal, destroy, and kill. Do not live in the logical system of this world. Therefore, a person cannot serve both God and Mammon. Either serve God and live in the Kingdom of God, or serve Mammon and live in a world where the strong prey on the weak.

We live in this world, perhaps like Isaac, but I tell you that we will always see the broad place that God has prepared for us. We will never lack, because those who trust in God lack no good thing. But sometimes, our minds are often filled with garbage: man dies for wealth, and birds die for food. Some people often say, Who wouldn't be like this? But those who trust in God cannot be like this.

Those who trust in God are not in this world, nor in the logical system of this world, nor in the scope of the devil's stealing, killing, and destroying. Where are they?

Living in God's Kingdom

Living in God's Kingdom is the best answer Jesus Christ gives us. This answer is to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness! Know that the devil cannot go into the Kingdom of God to steal, because a circle is drawn around the Kingdom of God. How can there be a devil in the Kingdom of God?

Why are you, brothers and sisters, blessed among us today? Because we have established the Kingdom of God, established a powerful church that can trample on the devil and enemies, and drive the devil out of our lives. It is not because you and I are so good that God will supply. We still have many problems and many carnal things.

But it does not matter. Today, we already live in the Kingdom of God. We are protected by God, and the devil cannot legally steal. We must all become mighty warriors who drive out demons, asking for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. How to ask? Put down our own little needs and be elite soldiers of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, so we can plunder the enemy, release those oppressed by the devil, and bring people into God's blessings.

Think about it, our Heavenly Father knows our needs. How can we lack? So brothers and sisters, from today onwards, live in the Kingdom of God. How to live in the Kingdom of God? Completely remove the logical system of this world, remove the worries within us, remove what the Gentiles seek, and remove what is not in accordance with the Word of God within us.

You of little faith! Start believing in God today! You of little faith! Start trusting our Heavenly Father today! He has never been indebted to us. There is nothing lacking in the Father's Kingdom. Everything is treasure. So today Jesus gives us the answer,

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33)

Summary: Seek His Kingdom and His Righteousness

Some people may ask, is this kind of seeking effective? You can try it! After trying it, you will feel that it is really effective! Others will ask, how to seek His Kingdom and His righteousness? It is to build a victorious church, so that the church can constantly plunder enemies in the spiritual world, and all the abundance in God's Kingdom will be abundantly given to us. This way, we will not worry. We only have joy and only the abundance of God's Kingdom.

Building a church in God's Kingdom to plunder the enemy, what a rich reward! Some time ago, a sister had a terrible experience. She was cheated out of a lot of money by P2P. This sister sells cloth, and as a result, God greatly blessed her business. Why? Because it is difficult not to be blessed among us! Not only was the money paid back, but there was also a surplus. I know that God especially blessed her. I heard her testimony some time ago.

Seek God's Kingdom and His Righteousness and Live an Abundant Life

Today, I give you good news, which is to seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness. This is the answer Jesus Christ gives us. Live in the Kingdom of God today and be protected. No one can come to steal and completely tear down the worldly logical system within us. A person will only have joy throughout their life, only God's supply, no lack, and no deficiency.

God's grace and God's glory are clearly seen through us, so that God's glory may be praised. The devil can no longer steal, no longer destroy, and no longer kill. On the contrary, the devil must often compensate, returning five sheep for one sheep and four cows for one cow. Whether he stole, robbed, or killed, he must return five sheep for one sheep and four cows for one cow. This is the reward for building a victorious church.

So, brothers and sisters, are you willing to give up for Jesus Christ today? Those who are willing to give up and be elite soldiers of Jesus Christ in God's Kingdom, it is difficult not to be blessed! I do not know how many times I have said this sentence. I will repeat it again: It is difficult for you not to be blessed! Because our God must want us to live prosperously, to live more and more prosperously. This is God's good will for us.

May God bless everyone!
