Introduction

Brothers and sisters, good day! Let us share a topic, Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Today's testimony was excellent. This brother spoke about his mother-in-law’s story, which happened very recently. His mother-in-law had intestinal bleeding and kidney failure, requiring frequent dialysis. It was evident to everyone that she was on the verge of death. The doctors had exhausted all means. Yet, her intestines continued to bleed profusely, with blood being discharged in litres. How much blood is in the human body? Under such circumstances, one would naturally want to give up.

This brother has been among us for a short time, yet, he is very rooted in the teachings. He is a scholarly person, and is very attentive to my sermons. He led his mother-in-law in prayer, even though she was unable to pray herself. As a result of the prayer, she survived, and the bleeding stopped. Two days later, there was another major intestinal hemorrhage, but prayer again brought relief. These were things that looked hopeless!

Both he and his wife are high achievers with doctoral degrees in medical research. Today, he and his wife are essentially scientists in the field of medicine. But what did his wife say? His wife said, I place my mother's life in your hands. Why is it that this brother's prayers are effective? Sometimes, some people's prayers are ineffective, while others are effective. The difference is very significant.

His mother-in-law's case is peculiar. She loved money very much, desperately trying to make money, caring for nothing else. She would do anything to make money, even foregoing sleep. She also engaged in other activities, such as lending money, which would take too long to explain. There are many stories. What was the result? She suffered from kidney failure and intestinal bleeding.

After listening to my sermon, he told me that he is very similar to me because he has been researching why people live since he was young. He never understood why he lived. Only after a long time did he gradually realize that what he hoped for was not in this world. What did he hope for? He hoped that people would have eternal life. This is something quite peculiar. Can a highly educated person be short of money? He is not short of money.

Today, we will not study this testimony. We will study why this person's prayers are effective, which is closely related to the hope within him. Why does God listen to his prayers? Let me tell you the answer first. If the hope within this person is not a hope that is in accordance with the Bible, not like the hope of the great people of faith described in Hebrews, his prayers are unlikely to be effective. Therefore, faith is closely linked to hope.

Why is there the Chinese Mingding Destiny? Chinese Mingding Destiny is absolutely not unfounded, but a result of studying the Bible and observing the phenomena of today, and realizing why they do not conform to what is recorded in the Bible. We have continuously explored and sought answers, and through reading the Bible, praying, and putting it into practice. Newton's law and the development of relativity have something very similar. Newton invented Newton's three laws. With these laws, as long as it is a celestial body, you can calculate its orbit and operating rules.

When Einstein discovered that many phenomena did not conform to Newton's laws, he studied the matter. As a result, he developed the theory of relativity. The theory of relativity is a step forward on Newton's law, which is the law of objects moving at high speed and the speed of light. Today we all need to know what science is. Many people think that theology is not scientific, but theology is very scientific.

If you search the Internet, you will find Wong Tai Sin, and the five great immortals in Northeast China. You will find that there are many things that science cannot explain today. What science cannot explain today, but people say that this is religious superstition. This is a reality, how can you just obliterate it in one sentence? This is not scientific. Science sees the phenomenon, studies the essence behind it, finds the operating rules behind it, and can produce a very clear understanding of things. This brother of ours is a scientist, and I myself am also a highly educated person. Highly educated people’s research is very detailed. After research, they found it very effective.

Today I am going to tell you the latest discoveries, which may be added to the Chinese Mingding Destiny system. This is what kind of faith works. Especially for Christians, many times their faith does not work. Do you say they don’t believe? They believe. Then why doesn’t it work? They also believe in Jesus, but their belief does not work, because the hope within them is not the hope of faith described in the Bible.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, which is the substance of what we hope for. If interpreted according to Hebrews, this hope must be the hope of Abraham. Today, you can try to dismantle your past wrong hopes, and try to invest in a heavenly hope that is in accordance with the Bible for a year or two.

There is a Taiwanese who does not quite believe in the Lord, but he likes to listen to my sermons, so he contacted our little assistant. This brother is already in his 60s. He has wanted to succeed all his life. He has been constantly doing business and wants to succeed very much. As a result, he worked hard and hard, and just as he was about to make a goal, he kicked the ball away, and he did not succeed in the end. Then he worked hard and hard again, and he failed again. To this day, he still has an extremely strong desire to succeed.

We need to know that after working hard, even if he succeeds, what will he get in the future? He did not study this matter. Today I have to pour cold water on him. Because what he needs to do is careful observation and research. I often encourage people to develop the habit of making plans. What should a plan do? Don’t just make a plan without thinking. We have to ask ourselves, why am I doing this. Making plans can solve two problems: what to do and why to do it. This is a very important thing.

If we do something meaningless and still work hard at it, isn't it stupid? So the Bible says: If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3) Even if you are a righteous man, if the foundation is wrong, everything you do is meaningless! So I poured cold water on him, and we have to think about what we are doing.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. (Hebrews 11:1-2)

Prayer

Lord, open our minds today, so that we may be filled with the knowledge of you in our understanding, so that we may know in our understanding that faith is the substance of things hoped for. Let us be able to know what kind of hope we should have in us. Lord, let us see today that all things in this world are vanity of vanities. Open our minds today, let us know that there should be an eternal hope in us, let us know the reality of the spiritual world. Let us know that when we leave this world and come before you, we will all receive your judgment. Give us wisdom and understanding today, let us know that one day we will come before you and receive the reward you give us from heaven, give us a crown of glory. Let us be with you forever, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

The Theme of Hebrews

From Genesis to Revelation, the scripture I am most satisfied with is Hebrews. The best chapter in Hebrews is Hebrews chapter 11. I gave two lectures on this chapter and discussed several very important issues. The first is the issue of evidence. It talks about some people who have clear evidence of God's presence, because the hope in them allows them to experience God's presence in this world. If a person has God to help him, that would be great, wouldn’t it? God can hold all things in the universe with His powerful hands. If He helps you, you will definitely prosper in everything you do! But the question is, what is the hope within you?

The second is about the issue of hope. What is your hope? That is crucial. If your hope is wrong, if you want to be the richest man in China or the richest man in the world, what you will get should be disaster! That kind of faith is not very useful. If people's hope is wrong, how will God see you? God will think you are a fool! Don't think that God loves the world and treats everyone the same. Absolutely not! If a person's perspective and way of looking at things are wrong, that is very troublesome. God will be ashamed of you!

If God feels that it is a shame to be your God, then that is troublesome! Today, many Christians live with worldly hopes, and God is very emotional in heaven. God will feel that it is embarrassing to be the God of these people, because what people are busy with on this earth is vanity of vanities! Just like this brother's mother-in-law, she tried so hard and what she got was kidney failure. She tried so hard to make money, money was like her life, and as a result she had intestinal bleeding. After waking up, she still didn't understand what she was doing with her life. For such people to accept Jesus Christ as her savior, Jesus Christ would feel ashamed, because her hope was all wrong! It's like a dung beetle rolling a dung ball.

If God feels that it is a shame to be your God, how can He listen to your prayers? Therefore, the theme discussed in Hebrews chapter 11 is that if a person believes, there will be evidence, and God will be clearly with him, and he will definitely see signs and wonders following him. Some people also believe, but there are no signs and wonders following them. Why is this? Because there is a problem with hope! If we know that people's faith and hope should be like this, we will experience God, and if we experience God, we will have evidence, and we will strive to enter into perfection!

Observe the things of the world carefully

We often don't know that we live in vanity. People live and then die. One thing that confuses me is, how come no one knows about this? Every one of us has seen people die, and the process of people dying is very helpless. In Genesis chapter 11, it is recorded that so-and-so lived for so many years, had children, and then lived for so many years before dying; and so-and-so lived for so many years, had children, and then lived for so many years before dying.

While talking about it, it came to Abraham. Abraham was a very powerful man. Abraham saw people being born and dying, and he immediately realized it. Today you must realize that it is vanity of vanities for people to live, whether you are a scientist or whatever, you must know this! If you don't know, if you want to become the richest man, busy, busy, and later become the poorest.

Genesis chapters 5 and 11 are all talking about many people living and then dying, so people must know this. After knowing this, no matter what you believe, you must know that people cannot be ignorant, and you must know in your understanding. If people don't know in their understanding, it is really sad. So I often say, if people are happy every day, that is a happy life. Some people look for something to do and have to create tangled and frustrated things, that is a tangled and frustrated life.

The brother who prayed for his mother-in-law has a good friend. His good friend was very good at studying since he was a child. Later he went to the United States and became a scientist. But he got cancer and died in his thirties. The whole process of getting cancer can be written into a novel. This person worked very hard, was very dedicated as a scientist after getting his doctorate. When he was moving, he had to go to work to do research. Our brother helped him move.

Both were doing research. He went to work and asked others to help him move. Later he got cancer, and during the cancer period, he was still doing research in the hospital bed and wanted to publish a paper in a magazine. Later he died, leaving behind a wife and two children. It was simply a human tragedy. How did he die? Who can have the final say! So this person is different from me. I have long seen through the world. After seeing through it, I worked very hard, but there is a hope in me, my hope is to obtain the crown of glory in Jesus Christ.

Let us carefully observe this generation, especially in the generation when the new coronavirus is rampant. If someone is targeted by the coronavirus, it is really troublesome. Some time ago, a brother came among us who also loved money as much as his life. He asked us to pray for his money every day. Both he and his wife loved money very much. His wife was a piano teacher in school. As a result, she filled her time to the brim after work and taught piano at home desperately.

Later he was also busy making money, and his wife was also busy making money, and put several million they earned into P2P. As a result, not only did they lose their own money, but they also owed more than 2 million, because they borrowed more than 2 million when they put it into P2P, and wanted to use the principle of leverage. Isn't this just teaching piano for nothing? Now she is still teaching piano desperately, I told her not to work so hard, but she is still teaching desperately. Just like that scientist, she is galloping to death! May God have mercy, and don't be targeted by the coronavirus.

A good friend of one of my colleagues dreams of immigrating every day. He desperately went to the United States to pursue a doctorate, and then applied for immigration after getting his doctorate. Finally, he got American immigration. But now he is very troubled. He is now being squeezed out in the company. He should have received a very high salary, but the environment of being squeezed out is very bad. I have given so many examples to let you observe the things of the world carefully. What conclusions can you draw after observing them? If you can't draw a correct conclusion, you will be in trouble, and you will continue to run around.

Some years ago, I led someone to Christ. She was very interested in getting married and having children. More than a decade has passed, and with three children and a husband, she is not living well at all. Her dream at the time was, I must get married and have children, and I must live well. She really wanted to live well and worked hard to live well, but the result was not good. Every time we talked, I felt worried.

But people say she is living well, and some say you can't just see the bad, you have to see the good. But if she can see the good, why can't I? What I see is a tragic story of humanity; I see everyone with a coffin in hand. People need to think about it, they need to study it. If people do not do research and thinking, tragedy can happen at any time. Some people see the small and not the big; many people see trivial matters. Why is this? Because the spiritual realm is very real. If a person's life is directed by evil spirits, their life will be a tragedy.

When you come among us, you have to take the 101 course. The first lesson of the 101 course is about the reality of the spiritual realm. Dream of the Red Chamber is a depiction of human tragedy, a farce directed entirely by evil spirits. If we talk about heroes, we look at the heroes of today; these tragic stories are even more numerous. I don't even know what they are doing, living so hard, using all their strength to run towards death. After many years, it's just dust. So, as a smart person, can you see a little further?

I encourage everyone to observe the things of the world. I can tell many such stories, because the people who come to the church have all experienced many stories. Some time ago, a sister came to visit me in my office. She had escaped from the brink of death. A few years ago, she got a deadly disease. No one could cure her, so she came to me. After she got better, she worked hard to live, then got married and had children. But her child was miserably controlled by demons, and she broke down and came to me again.

Having brushed past death, how could she still not see clearly? Now, really thank God, she sees very clearly and is sorting these things out one by one. Without heavenly hope, how can people live? The key to solving problems is faith. The entire Bible speaks about faith, but few people speak about faith in correct hope. But the author of Hebrews said it well: the key to solving problems lies in the substance of things hoped for, making faith clear at once.

The Key to Solving Problems is What Our Hope Really Is

Faith is the substance of things hoped for; faith without hope is ineffective.

The scripture says:

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Hebrews 11:9-10)

What they were waiting for was the city with foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Then it says:

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. (Hebrews 11:13-16)

They felt that living in the world and then dying was not acceptable! They hoped for an eternal home in heaven, to return to God. So, people's thoughts are based on their understanding of things. Once they thought about this, it was extraordinary! After this thinking, God was with them, and their faith saw the manifestation of God's power. Opening roads through mountains and building bridges over rivers, there was no road they couldn't cross!

Today, I encourage you, if you have heard what I have shared, you must, by all means, tear down the worldly logical system and establish a Godly logical system. Do you know where the devil is powerful? Its power lies in the fact that as long as it puts the worldly logical system in your mind, you will start to corrupt yourself, and your life will be a tragedy. Our God is also very interesting; as long as He puts the heavenly logical system, that heavenly hope, inside us, we can overcome the devil. This is also very powerful!

The devil knows how to subdue the enemy without fighting, and by putting the devilish logical system into people's minds, it can control them. What God has revealed in the Bible, few Christians today truly understand. What we, the Chinese Mingding Destiny, are trying to solve is to establish an effective system of faith. I often find that when I am casting out demons, the demons tremble before me. They feel unlucky to have encountered me. The reason is that I have heavenly hope inside me, and the character of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph is revealed in me. In my bones, I am like them.

I am proud to tell everyone: in my bones, I am really like them! That is, whether it is character or the entire system of faith, they are the examples I follow. What I have practiced is like this. If you want to test whether it works, try it. I don't need you to invest too much, just a year or two. If it doesn't work, then we can talk. Anyway, your current system definitely does not work. If it did, you wouldn't need to come to church.

With Heavenly Hope, You Will See God's Presence

When we have faith with heavenly hope, you will clearly see God's presence. This is called evidence.

The scripture says:

By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. (Hebrews 11:5)

Enoch had already received the testimony that he pleased God, carrying heavenly hope within him. He walked with God on earth for 300 years. During these 300 years, God was clearly with him, and everything he did was amazing! There are many such people recorded in the Bible. I like one sentence in 1 Samuel the most: God did not let any of Samuel's words fall to the ground. That is, as long as Samuel said something, God would make it happen. I also yearn to be such a person, so that God will not let my words fall to the ground either.

Later, I found that many people came to me with worldly hopes, wanting me to say a word so they could make a fortune. I looked at these people pursuing gurus, and I felt so sorry for them. They don't know that they also need to be like Samuel! Today, I am not saying this to have you come to find me, seeing that the words I say are fulfilled, and then ask me to say a word to you. I used to say that often, but later I found that it only strengthened people's worldly dreams, so forget it. God doesn't like me saying too much.

We must know that if a person has God's evidence on them, it is extraordinary. Joseph was sold into slavery in Egypt, but God was with him, and he prospered in everything. Because the dream Joseph carried within him was not a worldly dream; he carried a heavenly dream. A 17-year-old child had already seen through how people live in the world; that is extraordinary! So, he clearly saw God's presence. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob all clearly saw God's presence.

After Jacob deceived his father Isaac's blessing, God was clearly with him. Jacob herded sheep for his uncle Laban, and none of the sheep he herded did poorly. His uncle Laban became very wealthy because of Jacob's sake. Have we really understood these things and are we emulating them? Do you have clear evidence of God's presence? If you do not have clear evidence of God's presence, what is in your mind?

If we carry heavenly hope, our faith will clearly see God's presence. Few people ask why God is clearly with these people. Because people do not carry this kind of heavenly hope, God would feel it is a shameful thing.

In Hebrews 11:

But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. (Hebrews 11:16)

This passage means that God is not ashamed of them. If you regard God as your God, and God is not ashamed of you, that is good. God will be with you, and your prayers will be effective. If you regard God as God, but God is ashamed of you, then it’s troublesome. Sometimes God as your God is ashamed of you, and sometimes He is glorified by you. If you call God your God, but God is ashamed of you, don’t expect your prayers to be effective.

Today, many Christians have worldly hopes. They pray for their home, their children, their husband, and a whole bunch of things. Some time ago, there was a very interesting sister. She saw a vision in church during prayer. She saw a person who was very suitable for her, and she was also very suitable for that person. She thought, Isn't this a marriage fulfilled by God? As a result, she got married and had children. Later, she found that her husband had no Mingding Destiny, and all his hopes were in the world. She felt ashamed to have such a husband, because she received Mingding Destiny theology among us, but her husband, also a believer, received a mind full of garbage.

God sees very clearly in the spiritual world. When we were young, our parents attended our parent-teacher conferences, and God is the same. Sometimes parents attend their children's parent-teacher conferences and feel ashamed and don't want to go. When I was a child, my father and mother liked to attend my parent-teacher conferences. If they attended my parent-teacher conferences, the parents of my classmates would enviously say, These are so-and-so's parents. My parents were very proud. Imagine, our God looks down from heaven and sees such a good child, and He is also very proud, telling everyone how good they are.

There was a man named Job. God was having a meeting in heaven, like a parent-teacher conference, and Satan was also among them. God said that He was very proud of Job, that Job feared God. Satan said that it was because God protected him. If the things he was protected with were taken away, he would immediately curse God. As a result, there was the story of the Book of Job, where Satan constantly tormented Job, but Job did not shame God because of the hope and faith within him. The final outcome of the Book of Job is that God blessed Job doubly. He had many children, and many sheep, cattle, and camels. God gave him double what he had before.

If people do not have heavenly hope and are busy in the world, God sees them like dung beetles rolling dung balls. They roll them very seriously. If Christians are like dung beetles rolling dung balls, seriously pursuing worldly things, how would God see them? We must know that if God feels that our saying He is God is a shameful thing, that is so tragic! For example, a dung beetle rolling a dung ball says that someone is its master, that it is the master's pet. If someone treats a dung beetle as a pet, everyone would find it disgusting. People with worldly dreams, God sees you as a dung beetle.

Summary

There was a person who had strong worldly dreams. He was great at school and later became a PhD. In his first year of getting his PhD, he got depression and was demon-possessed. Seeing a psychologist didn't help. He found me online, and I cast out the demons from him. But he had worldly dreams, and I never broke that down. His motto was, A golden age comes once in a thousand years. I added, Die to be a hero. What I mean is that worldly dreams really corrupt people. When the devil puts worldly dreams in you, we naturally become dung beetles in God's eyes.

We must be clear in our understanding, that is, what is our hope? If we cannot be clear, that is ignorance. Ignorance is definitely not the answer and definitely not the way to solve problems. We must know in this world that the city with foundations that God spoke of in Hebrews, and the more beautiful country that they yearned for, what are they referring to? They are referring to the church today.

The church is the New Jerusalem in the city of the future, as mentioned in Revelation. This city is full of God's glory. God is completely united with man, and God is completely present with man. God dwells among us, and we enjoy the rest in that presence with God. We must know that a proper view of the church is key. Only such a view of the church will give us this kind of heavenly hope. We must completely destroy worldly hopes, because the corruption they bring is very far-reaching. I do not want our brothers and sisters to be corrupted, so I preach the view of the church again and again. Without a view of the church, there is no way to talk about what it means to believe in Jesus.

Recently, someone said, You talk about building a victorious church, but the Bible says to love God! What does it mean to love God? To love God is to carefully keep and follow His words, to build a victorious church, to shepherd His flock in the church, and building God's victorious church is key. The church is the body of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ is the head of the church. We must know what kind of relationship the church and Jesus Christ have. It is a relationship between a head and a body. God reveals His wisdom and glory through the church, as written very clearly in Ephesians.

Everyone, don't mess this up. If you don't understand, study the Bible carefully, and you will know that building a victorious church is the answer to solving problems. If you say that loving Jesus is the answer to solving problems, then follow your own interpretation and see what the results are. We love Jesus and will certainly keep and follow His commands, build a victorious church, and see God clearly dwelling among us!
