Introduction
Good morning. Today, we begin the tenth lecture on The Words of the Preacher, entitled Recognizing Folly, Learning to Be Wise. This topic is a bit challenging. Where does the difficulty lie? It lies in my own inadequacy. Being inadequate myself and fearing that I might not explain it well, I have been quite troubled these past few days. I have prepared diligently, and this topic of recognizing folly serves as an excellent reminder to me. I feel that I am not doing a good job explaining it. The more I try to show off in front of everyone, the more I expose my own ignorance.
So, I wrote frantically last night, doing a fresh, just-off-the-press, learn-as-you-go job. It is not easy being a preacher; to do the job well is truly difficult. I very much want everyone to enjoy listening after I finish speaking. You cannot just boil meat; it might be meat, but it is not tasty. You have to add this ingredient and that ingredient to cook something delicious and pleasant to listen to. How can it be made pleasant to listen to? Yesterday, I watched one episode after another of stand-up comedy, hoping to deliver a bit of stand-up today as well, but fearing that I might end up all talk and no substance, so I had better write the script well.
How can we clearly explain wisdom and folly? It is too difficult. If I said, You foolish person, I might get punched in the face and end up with a black eye. So, I have no choice but to do what they say, borrow flowers to offer to the Buddha, and present to you these words from Solomon's Book of Ecclesiastes, hoping that you all become as wise as Solomon. As for myself, I hope to be as wise as David, thus gaining an advantage on the side.
Although Solomon called David Dad, we do not need to. We are brothers and sisters. Our church does not engage in some of those practices where they have some twelve of this and twelve of that, and I cannot even figure out what those twelve are supposed to be, and then insist that you call your small group leader spiritual father or spiritual mother.
I find that a bit difficult, and I cannot handle it. How did another mother pop up? Some people end up with two sets of parents, which is already troublesome enough. Once they get married, they have four elders to deal with, which is exhausting. Especially for only children, having four elders is a lot. So now, recruitment ads say, House, car, and deceased parents, less trouble, turning it into an advantage.
Enough rambling, let's begin Recognizing Folly, Learning to Be Wise. One must have a thorough understanding of folly in life, or else life will be a tragedy. If someone tells you that folly is no good, and you are told again tomorrow, you will end up with panda eyes. Otherwise, if you point at someone on the street and say, You foolish person, won't they beat you up? You cannot say that unless you are in a very close relationship, and even then, it is hard to say. Once you say it, you have spoken out of turn, and the person has to ponder it themselves.
Someone asks, Teacher, how can I become wise? You have to ponder it yourself. If you say, Oh, I am foolish, no one will beat you up. If God tells you that you are foolish, you cannot hit God. But if I tell you, you can hit me. Thankfully, we are gathering online; unless VR reaches a certain point, and your hand comes out of the screen and punches me.
I tell you, poverty is closely related to folly. If people work diligently, do their jobs well, and run a small business, how could they be poor? They would not fall into debt. Why do people fall into debt? It is all because of reckless behaviour. Thinking this is an opportunity, they lose 100,000; thinking that is an opportunity, they lose another 600,000. Clicking here and there on the computer or phone, creating a lot of debt.
Some people are over sixty, and should have some savings, but instead, they have accumulated a body full of debt. They used to have hundreds of thousands in hand, and they walked differently; you could tell at a glance that they had hundreds of thousands. Alas, this folly! And then some people create a lot of debt, and some people create a lot of illness. Among us, which illness is not related to folly? They are all related to folly. I am particularly moved, why? It is because of impatience; they are so impatient.
I have a very good Christian friend who got cancer. I kept praying for him, thinking that we had built a good relationship. I said, This cancer is a curse. Oh no, everything collapsed. He got angry with me! You see, when a rooster is about to fight, its feathers puff up. Oh my goodness, if I puff up, I won't have any feathers left to stand on.
He did not think it was a curse. He said, An unwarranted curse will not come to pass. But he died. Although he still appears in my Facebook, his Facebook will never be updated again; it is frozen in that year. If suddenly one day, his Facebook is updated, it would be a ghost story.
Sometimes, talking about these things is quite interesting. I know a friend who came to me one day and said, Can you develop a program? I said, Develop what program? He said, Develop a dead person's Facebook. Oh my goodness, a dead person's Facebook! Living people's Facebooks are not even being updated; who would update a dead person's Facebook?
You need to know that illness is a very serious thing. Many people's illnesses, such as numbness in the hands and feet, are very serious problems, closely related to the heart and brain. These are all caused by folly. If people are not foolish, if people have wisdom, would they fall into such a state? Among all our brothers and sisters, do not blame me for telling you. Because I am telling you the truth, hoping that you can become a wise person. Carefully examine yourselves, according to Solomon's Book of Ecclesiastes, and see how foolish we are.
For example, many people do not know how to behave. During the Qing Dynasty, there was a great general who conquered all directions, a very powerful general. He returned to see the emperor, and you have to know etiquette when you meet the emperor. Can you meet the emperor without knowing etiquette? Like me, as soon as I see the emperor in front of me, even before the emperor sees me, I quickly get off my horse and trot over. That is a matter of attitude.
As a result, this general came clack clack riding his horse, and the emperor was right in front of him. It was truly a slave riding a horse while the emperor walked. What do you think happened later? It definitely planted the seeds for later trouble; this is all called folly, and later he lost his head. Many people do not know how to be subordinates, do not know how to work.
Sometimes I tell you to reflect on yourself, and he says, I am doing quite well. I say, Reflect on yourself again, and he says, I am doing well, I have no problems, I love God very much. Oh, the words that were about to come out of my mouth, I swallowed back. It is simply a perfect assessment of oneself! That is perfect folly! I tell you, folly causes a lot of trouble; there are countless examples in history for you to learn from.
Some time ago, there was a sister whose former pastor wanted to become a famous pastor, and all the things he did were what I would call folly. A foolish pastor, leading a group of foolish brothers and sisters, how could there not be disasters? And they thought they loved God very much. This sister asked me, Teacher, why don't you want to become famous? I don't want to become famous. My name is not important; only Jesus' name is important. Later, this sister said, Teacher, you are so wise. It almost made me foolish.
Today, we see people who owe 600,000, people who owe 3 million, people who owe 4.5 million. Isn't that folly? And then there are people who get cancer, people who experience domestic violence. There are too many of these things. I have found that making people smart and making people wise is full of challenges. Yesterday, I told my colleagues, The church we are building should be a research institution, studying how to help people learn to be smart; studying how to help people learn how to learn, to be wise. I think this is a good idea.
So Chinese Mingding Destiny has several characteristics. First, it is a research institution. Our understanding of God's words is far from enough; we must continue to dig deeper and constantly deepen our understanding. I am thinking that the church must make breakthroughs in this research. Our understanding of God's words is far from enough. Second, the church must not only research God's words, but also research how to learn God's words. The previously discussed Active Learning is all about this.
Also, the church must have originality. We have our intellectual property rights. Our things, our content, are very original; they are all our own creations. We must simplify complex things, and explain complex things simply every day. How great that would be, with a bit of stand-up comedy added.
The thing the church fears the most is foolish people! In the past few years, I have seen many tragedies in churches. There was a pastor in a Taiwanese church who was sued by his church staff in the Ministry of Justice, and later he developed depression. It was simply a soap opera. Later, when this pastor shared on stage, he was crying his eyes out, and I almost shed tears below. Some people said, Teacher, you almost shed tears, why are you still smiling? I was thinking: God! God! What is this? How can I avoid this?
Today, our church's vision and mission is this. If you build a church and bring all the garbage into the church, bring a group of carnal, foolish people into the church, how can things be good? A foolish pastor leading a group of foolish brothers and sisters, there will definitely be dragon fights and tiger struggles! Thank God, we don't have that among us. If we did, I would get rid of them, get rid of the ghost behind the ghost!
So I tell you, even Jesus fears foolish people. Do you understand? Jesus fears pigs the most. Do you know what Jesus said? Do not give pearls to pigs. Some time ago, a wild boar came to the village, wandering around and goring people. You see, now there are many incidents, one moment a tiger comes, the next moment a leopard comes, and then a wild boar comes.
Oh no, a wild boar is coming! Quickly rush into the house, rummage through the cabinets, and find a pearl. Maybe this pearl is a luminous pearl, dug out of the mouth of the Empress Dowager Cixi. Holding this bright pearl, rush out: Wild boar, I have a pearl! The wild boar is wondering: What is this thing? How did it become a real pig? I am clearly a real wild boar. I will show you real pig, and bang, I will gore you down.
So what do you do if a wild boar comes to church? If a wild boar comes to church, you take out pearls: I have pearls! The wild boar in the church is also: I am the real pig! Wildlife protection laws, you can't do anything to it. If you encounter this, you are eating a bitter melon, unable to express your suffering. Wildlife protection laws do not protect people, they only protect wild animals. What to do?
Thankfully, I secretly thank God, thank God, among us are all Solomons. God, thank you, there are no wild boars in the church; they are all pearls. Not wild boar pigs, but pearls. All treasures.
How wonderful it is to be a wise person. Recognize folly, examine yourself, remove the pig from your mind. Without others telling us, we ourselves know how wonderful it is to be a wise person, with our whole life in God's hands. You want to know that the righteous and the wise are in God's hands, living a wonderful life, so great! No matter what you encounter, it will turn into something good.
The wise person's heart is on the right, the fool's heart is on the left. When you read this, everyone may be confused. Let me explain it to you. My explanation is that everyone's heart is born on the left, so all people are born foolish. Aren't they all useless teammates? All useless teammates. So how do you become a wise person? You must turn your heart from the left to the right. Is this difficult? It is difficult, very difficult.
You must study God's word, remove that devious energy, remove that carnal energy from within us, and turn the heart on the left to become a spiritual person. Remove the evil from our flesh, become a spiritual person, and strive with all our might to deal with folly, so that in these empty days, we can live out a perfect image of God.
So, after my research, I have come to a conclusion. Don't blame yourself for your IQ; your IQ is fine. My research is important; to give you confidence, your IQ is not the problem. What is the problem then? Your hardware is not the problem; it's just that the software inside is poisoned by a lot of folly. Where is someone foolish? He is foolish because he is a carnal person, following worldly customs, putting all his effort into proving himself, and in the end proving that he is just a piece of shit.
In fact, if people put all their effort into removing folly, adjusting our learning methods, and allowing us to see through the matter of living, that would be powerful. So what are Christians? Christians are people created in God's image, whose flesh has died. When we are baptized, he puts us into the water and we come back to life. Unlike some churches, where they spray water on top.
When we are baptized, we enter the water and come out of the water, symbolizing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and now it is no longer I who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in me. To this world, I am a dead man, and this world is a dead man to me, finished. So if Jesus is in you, can you not be smart? So stop blaming your IQ: Oh, I just didn't inherit my parents' intelligence, I just inherited their folly. I have found that there are many people who blame heaven and earth.
Speaking of revitalizing Northeast China, I have met many friends from China who said, The revitalization of Northeast China is because the central government's policies are not good. Who said that? A good Northeast China was made into what it is today by those with the mindset of big gold chains, small gold watches, and three meals of barbecue a day. Can people like that succeed? They are really not as hardworking as people in Jiangsu and Zhejiang; they really are not.
So I want to say, we are not talking about policies or not, don't blame heaven and don't blame earth; blame only yourself. Now songs are even blaming the moon. Today, regardless of whether the moon is wrong, whether the sun is wrong, whether your father is wrong, whether your mother is wrong, or whether the government is wrong, face yourself, blame only yourself, so that we can become wise people in God's eyes, and let God control our lives.
Scripture
Ecclesiastes 10:1-3:
Dead flies make the perfumer’s ointment give off a stench; so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor. A wise man’s heart inclines to the right, but a fool’s heart to the left. Even as he walks along the road, the fool lacks sense, and shows everyone how stupid he is. (Ecclesiastes 10:1-3)
Prayer
God! Open our eyes, so that we can often see ourselves, and often compare ourselves to your words, as if looking at ourselves in a mirror, seeing our own folly. God, give us wisdom and intelligence, so that we can remove the folly within us, and be able to recognize ourselves, how foolish we are.
Let us spend this life striving to transform ourselves from a carnal person into a spiritual person. God, may you help me, give me wisdom, so that I can follow your words, and let me fear your name. Pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
Scripture Background
Ecclesiastes Chapter 10 is well written. Ecclesiastes writes about this wisdom and that wisdom, it seems very difficult, and it seems very far from us. But folly is very close to us, very, very close, right inside us.
Solomon finished Chapter 9 by saying, The righteous and the wise are in God's hands. So how can a person be wise? It is not easy. Solomon thought: How can I be wise? I think when he was writing Chapter 10 of Ecclesiastes, it was probably similar to me writing the script frantically last night, painful, unable to write. Later, he finally squeezed it out.
Why did he write it? Because he saw a fly fall into the ointment. Not only did it fall into the ointment, but it also laid some maggots in the ointment. After the maggots were born, they said: My goodness, this place is so good, so fragrant. The flies and maggots, wow, are raised fat and plump. You look and say: My goodness, this is not fragrant ointment at all. But the maggots raised in this kind of ointment should be edible, all protein.
This just shows that a little folly can bring this effect, and can breed a lot of maggots. So Solomon summed it up again and again, and concluded: Originally, there are no wise people in this world. Whether boys or girls are born, they are all the same, a lump of flesh. You and I were born the same way, not knowing anything. If we knew everything from birth, it would be bad. That would be a demon!
So he said: The wise man's heart is on the right, the fool's heart is on the left. You say that Solomon curses people without using dirty words, cursing us all as fools. In fact, this is also the truth. He then said: You can tell by the way people walk, like that impeached president. Have you noticed how he walks?
The way he walks is like saying to everyone: I am a foolish person, I am a foolish person, I am a foolish person. Once he walks past, everyone is deeply impressed. It is like holding a sign that says I am a foolish person. Why? Because he is showing off. The way he shows off, strutting as he walks, you can tell at a glance. I have noticed over the years that some people change as soon as they have a little money; their way of walking changes.
So Solomon summarized the things of folly in the rest of this chapter, and tells people what? He tells people that these things kill people. Do you think his summary is complete? I think it is quite complete. If we can learn these things in Chapter 10, that would be amazing. Let me read it to everyone:
“If a ruler’s anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can mitigate great offenses. There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler: Folly is put in many high positions, while the rich occupy the low ones. I have seen slaves on horseback, while nobles go on foot like slaves. Whoever digs a pit may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever splits logs may be endangered by them.”
“If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success. If a snake bites before it is charmed, there is no profit for the charmer. The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious, but a fool is consumed by his own lips. At the beginning his words are folly; at the end they are wicked madness.”
“A fool multiplies words, though no one knows what is coming—who can tell him what will happen after he is gone? A fool’s work wearies him; he does not know the way to town. Woe to you, land, when your king is a servant and your princes feast in the morning. Blessed are you, land, when your king is of noble birth and your princes eat at a proper time—for strength and not for drunkenness.”
As folly corrupts understanding and honour, so a little foolishness outweighs wisdom and glory. (Ecclesiastes 10:4-20)
Having read such a lengthy passage, I must say, Solomon's research is indeed remarkable. Our own studies merely scratch the surface of his findings. The Book of Ecclesiastes, penned by Solomon, is a profound thesis. If we could fully grasp its depth, we would be akin to Solomon himself. Yet, I aspire for you to be like David, for his ways surpass those of Solomon.
Folly 1: A Fool's Walk Betrays His Ignorance
There is an art to walking. The way a person walks tells you much. The fool shows his folly openly. Why? Because foolishness struts and boasts.
Years ago, there was a fellow we called Belt Bro, flaunting an expensive Hermes belt, one I could likely never afford. Posing with a phone, the pictures were overly staged, almost like those of Trump after an incident. Immediately, it was clear. Adorning a belt and holding a phone proclaiming, I am a fool! And as things turned out, he proved to be just that.
Observe a person's walk and you see their arrogance, their ostentation! Life is a journey fraught with choices. At each juncture, one's path forward, left or right, reveals their wisdom or folly. Man must recognize his own humanity. Recognizing that, he must know his great need for God.
The Book of Proverbs puts it excellently, and I share it with you: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. (Proverbs 3:5-7)
Today, many are victimized, with tales of 1.6 million unfinished homes, leaving that many families in ruins. How despicable! The fool shows his folly openly, so one must contemplate carefully the path one takes in life.
Recently in Singapore, there was news of an oil tycoon. Don't assume Singapore lacks oil—it houses Southeast Asia's largest refinery, a significant enterprise. This oil magnate was sentenced to a term that, combined with his age, nears a century. The conclusion drawn was his audacity. Be warned, gains seldom come to the timid, but audacity can lead to both riches and ruin. The fool shows his folly openly, as seen in the choices one makes throughout life.
Folly 2: When Authority Provokes Anger, That Inner Defiance is Folly
If the ruler’s anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can mitigate great offenses. (Ecclesiastes 10:4)
Over the years, I've observed my coworkers' efforts and found them wanting. Was it not my place to correct them? As long as they are under me, I will speak my mind. After speaking, observe their reactions—as the Scripture says, why the change in countenance? Why the anger? That defiant spirit rises, a bitter look cast my way, as if I were indebted to them.
Folly is a dangerous thing, highly insidious. It does not harm me, but harms you. The fool is blind to what benefits or harms him. As Ecclesiastes states, one must recognize what profits him. Yesterday, I shared with some coworkers about today's message, and they urged, Teacher, use me as an example. That is wisdom, that is understanding, leaving behind the days of folly.
Many are poor subordinates, rushing to antagonize their superiors without understanding. Is it not easy for a leader to make your life difficult? They need not dismiss you; daily annoyances suffice until resignation. Is that not folly? Why contend with one's leader? Cannot one submit to authority? Is not your superior divinely appointed?
You might ask, Teacher, why am I so unlucky, always finding such work? Because of your folly. Would you change without the whip? Would you learn without suffering? Thus, I often aid companies with human resources management. Understand that those in authority above you are divinely ordained. Why such appointments? Because past arrangements have failed to change you; good arrangements have no effect. Therefore, learn to be a subordinate.
Some are unaware of their own incompetence, resisting correction while thinking themselves wise. Know this: for our pastors, the most crucial relationship is with me—I speak plainly. Some fail to grasp that their relationship with me is paramount, favoring instead those below, solving nothing.
Often, we are laden with foolishness, particularly among our coworkers. Spending five hours on someone yielding no return, while denying those same five hours to me. What use is their time to me? Through those five hours, I could train them in pastoral care, guiding them from incompetence.
When authority's anger rises, must you not learn the lesson? Subdue that defiant spirit. That spirit is folly, corrupting you. So I say, adjust, for calmness averts great offenses. With a gentle and humble heart, first consider: Have I erred?
Folly 3: High Position Does Not Nullify Foolishness
There is an evil I have seen under the sun, the sort of error that arises from a ruler: Fools are put in many high positions, while the rich occupy the low ones. I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves. Whoever digs a pit may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever splits logs may be endangered by them. (Ecclesiastes 10:5-9)
Why is this said? God often places fools in high positions. Having reached a height, failing to acquit oneself well leads to a dire fall. Many are unaware of their own capacity.
One sister remarked interestingly—her saying forever etched in my mind. Her husband criticized, You've not done well. Simply acknowledge the mistake and ask how to correct it, no? She retorted, I have done well before. Does past success justify current failure? A past victory does not negate a present mistake. What logic is that?
At times, high position proves nothing. Wealth proves nothing. It's a peculiar phenomenon. Fools in high places, the rich in low. Slaves on horseback, princes walking—this too is from God. It seems as if God errs, but no. God deliberately acts this way, to let one fall into one's own pit.
Carefully observe how many fall into their own traps, striving endlessly, building empires only to die in their own pits. Whoever digs a pit may fall into it. Whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever splits logs may be endangered by them.
As the saying goes, Frequent the riverbank, and you're bound to get wet. One perfect split does not guarantee another. At any moment, the wood may snap unexpectedly. Splitting wood is dangerous, the direction of splinter unpredictable. Likewise, quarrying stone is hazardous, and driving can lead to unforeseen accidents. While not inevitable, these events are possible, their timing unknown.
I often ponder whether high position is a blessing or a curse. Many with no discernible skill hold leadership roles, living and working as usual—a mystery to me.
It's not difficult to understand: it's irrelevant to them, subordinates will seek guidance Leader , I should do thisOK! I should do that. Not OK! They just fool around日子也照过. Thus you see many leaders fool around,慢慢整到上气都不接下气了.
Many perplexing things happen in the world. Today, learn wisdom, understand that success in one endeavor does not guarantee success in another. Correct your mistakes. High position may have nothing to do with your ability.
Is it not so that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong? Time and chance happen to them all. Don't assume immunity from folly in high places; continually examine your heart, fight the good fight, discipline your body and bring it under control.
Folly 4: Words Filled with Folly and Arrogance
The words of the wise entice others, but the lips of fools will consume them. Fools begin by speaking foolishly, and conclude by speaking madly. (Ecclesiastes 10:12-13)
Arrogance is evil. I once met an old man who disparaged Singapore, calling it not even a small land, but merely a speck, as insignificant as flicking away a piece of nasal mucus. A warship could destroy it, he said.
Singapore was not destroyed; instead, he was. He spoke nonsense without understanding. Possessing no warship, his only vessel was a toy on his desk, smaller than even that speck.
Be cautious in speech—avoid arrogance. Fools begin foolishly, ending in mad arrogance. Why? A fool multiplies words, though no one knows what is coming—who can tell someone else what will happen after they die? Days before calling for a warship, he was diagnosed with cancer in the hospital. He had no idea what awaited him, yet spoke as if he were magnificent.
Arrogance is deadly. During David's time, the arrogance of the Israelites angered God, leading Him to incite David to count the people. This census resulted in David's sin against God. Given three choices, David chose to fall into God's hands, resulting in the death of 70,000, none of whom were innocent.
When a nation grows arrogant—Wow, my country is amazing!—trouble begins. All the nations of the world are in God's hands. Arrogance leads to inexplicable problems beyond human control.
Beware of words filled with folly and arrogance. Learn to be wise, controlling your speech, for you know not what the future holds. Do not anger God. There is much you do not know. You cannot even know what will happen tomorrow.
Folly 5: Toil Wearies Oneself
A fool’s toil wearies him; he does not even know the way to town. (Ecclesiastes 10:15)
Esau chased wild boars faster than they could run, only to collapse, exhausted and parched. Perhaps he never caught them; otherwise, he wouldn't have exchanged his birthright with Jacob. Weak with hunger, he sold his birthright. Living by the sword brings a curse.
Toil wearies because one trusts in one's own abilities, disbelieving in blessing. We are designed to enjoy work, but those who walk in the footsteps of Cain may accomplish great things, only to find themselves miserable, without enjoyment, and unable to even find the city as that of a man who does not enjoy his work.
God designed an interesting system. If you walk in Cain's path, you may achieve greatness, but you will suffer, find no joy, and grow weary to the point of not even knowing if you can finish your task.
In God's hands, people enjoy work and schooling. If school and work bring suffering, certainly someone isn't wise, but foolish. The folly lies in using a dull tool, wasting energy through a lack of wisdom instead to sharpen the iron, if he do so, success will follow.
Before bewitching, a snake may bite, rendering the spell useless. There are too many aspects of folly where if you行法术 is too late, then its无益. Because laziness would cause a roof to cave in.
Do not forget to put the essential things first, such as sharpening of the sword, and depend on one own hand, thus you would make people not enjoy their work. Because they complain of too many things, thus people will not be able to good.
Folly 6: Forgetting the Importance of Joy Under the Sun
Do you find toil painful? Though Cain built a city, he lived in misery. Our God designs things perfectly—life is meant to bring suffering. Do you agree? foolishness makes people forget to enjoy in the things that happens in the sun.
A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry, but money is the answer for everything. (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
Look,摆设 an occasion,绞尽脑汁 construct many tricky things,整 very dogmatic. The propose of having an event is to be enjoy the moment, joke around, tell funny story.but befor you start,do remember to prepare all the jokes or story in advance so you can use it any time when appropriate .even if people mention they have heard that a million times.it doesnt not matter.enjoy life.
If toil is enjoyed, wisdom is gained. Feasts should be joyous. Money is spent, food is served, but without joy, only sorrowful tales. A fest serve as occasions to be happy and tell jokes,喝酒 does not make me Happy, instead I become very frustrated!钱能叫万事应心,but they seem like they do not have any wisdom.
Having wealth without happiness leads to terrible deeds. Foolishly forgetting that joy under the sun is important. To be with me is to be joyous. I can assure you that nothing can rob me of my joy. Unless. it still hard to eliminate it.
Folly 7: Loving to Curse Rulers and the Rich
I train people to not blame the government, to not curse rulers or even think such thoughts. In any government, regardless of the system, if God protects you and you are wise, you can thrive. Do not blame everything else.
In your bedroom, do not curse the rich, for a bird in the sky may carry your words, and a winged creature may report it. Do not blame others; instead, ask if you are secured in God's hands. If so, He will orchestrate a glorious and fulfilling life. Do you understand?
Conclusion
Have you learned from these points of folly? Examine yourselves, remove your foolishness, and become wise. Remember that a dead fly gives perfume a bad smell; so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor. Continually reflect, for thinking oneself free of folly is foolish in itself. No matter how many reasons you find to believe you are not foolish, it is useless. Because your heart is still on the left.
Is your heart still on the left? If so, you are still foolish, filled with worldly customs, carnal logic, and worldly lies, making life difficult. Examine your illnesses and debts to know. The most crucial thing is wisdom, placing yourself in God's hands. Amen! God will bless you.
May God bless you all! Amen!
