Introduction

Good day to all, we continue with the sixth sermon on The Words of the Preacher, the theme of which is, Who knows what is good for a man in his fleeting days? I tell you, a person often does things that harm themselves throughout their lives. Alas, I have seen too much of this in my life.

Some time ago, there was a brother who did something quite interesting. When the US cut interest rates, China's A-shares surged upwards. He promptly borrowed one million and wham, bought one million worth of shares. Not two days later, wham, it crashed, and he lost 300,000.

You know, this person suffered from depression due to investment failures a few years ago. I tell you, our small pastors really served him wholeheartedly, pulling him out of depression with their lives. This time, the old problem resurfaced. That is just foolish! He is just determined to do things that harm himself.

Now, not only is he depressed again, but he says, I want to leave the church. Leave then. I can only wish you good luck. The couple left one after the other. I am thinking, what kind of mind is this? Your IQ must be in the single digits, or some say it is negative. Brothers and sisters, do not be surprised. There are many people with negative IQs. People just do not know what is beneficial to them!

I have a huge flaw, a very serious one. I just feel that the most tiring thing about being a pastor is serving these foolish people. Foolish people, you are good to them, and they do not know it. Foolish people, you can cheat them, and they do not know it either. When scammers come, they think the scammers are good people. If you want to edify them, you cannot do it without wisdom. Oh my goodness! I just pray for God's mercy.

There was a time when it was very hard. Serving, serving, my temper flared up, and I got angry again. I turned around and quickly prayed, Lord, Lord, Lord, see through this. What is beneficial to people? How can such a simple thing be so unclear? Vanity of vanities! Don't think that I have been calling out to the Lord for so long. It is not effective to really call out to the Lord when something happens. It is still more effective to call out to Jesus.

The last sermon was about rejoicing in labour. Now, looking around, look at yourself. Do you think there are many people who rejoice in labour? Not many, very few. Yesterday, I met a sister who said that her pastor felt that his labour was hard and tiring, so he got sick. When I looked at him, he was not that hardworking. My labour is much more than his. Alas, there are few people who rejoice in labour. Some people ask me, Teacher, what about you? I said, I am the one who rejoices in labour.

You know that joy is good medicine for the whole body! I do everything happily. I tell you, I even hum a little tune when I wash the toilet. Someone goes to the toilet and does not flush, I go in and see it, oh my goodness! You can imagine, it is truly like a car accident scene. I sing What Amazing Grace, and then flush the toilet. There are still traces of that kind of thing, but by grace, I wash the toilet and finish it happily.

I really thank God. It must be that when God created me, He made me this way. But I still feel that I really want to share this ability, this grace, with everyone, which is joy. Where can you reason with this? It is just joy, even serving foolish people is joyful.

When I was a student, the classmates who went to school with me knew that this kid was quite interesting. He did not make a sound. You could not squeeze a fart out of him with a carrying pole, but his face was full of joy. He never had academic pressure. My mother did not know whether I had academic pressure or not. Anyway, she just saw that this child loved to study.

I am also joyful when I work. Even if it is dirty work, I will do it happily, singing What Amazing Grace while working. I have only one hobby in my life, which is to enjoy rejoicing in labour. I really want everyone to receive what I have received.

Do you want to become like me? Stretch out your legs, close your eyes, snap your fingers, Snap! Wonderful! How dashing! Has this not become an enlightened monk? Everyone must not misunderstand this monk. It is actually promotion, enlightenment and promotion. When a person is ordained as a pastor, he is not called Pastor, but Reverend. Reverend is the monk, the enlightened monk. Let me explain to everyone, don't think that monks are just Buddhist monks.

Actually, I tell you, there are also times when I am confused. Otherwise, why would I turn around and pray for a long time? I forget as I live, and I don't know why I start to feel uncomfortable. I have a sense in my heart. As soon as I feel uncomfortable, I understand. I think, why am I uncomfortable? Am I stupid? I have everything, I lack nothing. Why am I not joyful when I have nothing to do? Silly boy, be smarter, be joyful. I turn it around. Do you understand? It is turned around, and I am joyful again.

People say, Your sermons are not pleasant to listen to. I am not uncomfortable. Then I will give a pleasant sermon next time. The books you write are terrible. I am not uncomfortable either. Then I will write a book that is not so terrible in the future. The songs you sing are off-key. I am not Andy Lau. Who are you then? I am Liu Deshui, very watery. What is there to be uncomfortable about being off-key? I am just an off-key person. Turn it around! You cannot deprive me of my joy. You just cannot deprive me of my joy!

Some people also say, Look at this thing, it looks like a pug. Hey, thank you for praising me. I am just a piece of dog poop. Alas, when I haven't turned it around, I am more uncomfortable. When I turn it around, I am more joyful.

Today, I am telling you what kind of person I am. The smartest person is like me: This thing is not done right, that thing is not done right. I often feel that I have not done things right. I am not like some people, especially some pastors. You cannot say that he is wrong. If you say he is wrong, it will be terrible. You will stir up a hornet's nest. In the fleeting days of a person's life, do you know what is beneficial to you? Joy is beneficial to you! I am doing a good job as a preacher and enjoying it very much.

Yesterday, I saw a sister and saw that she was much more joyful. She used to look exhausted. This time, she seemed more energetic, and I was very happy. I really hope that God will remember my service! In the past, her pastor served her, which meant that she was more uncomfortable than her pastor. Now she is serving her former pastor, which means that her former pastor is more uncomfortable than her.

I am thinking that it would be good if I could close my eyes, stretch out my legs, and be very satisfied. I have been joyful in my life, making those uncomfortable people angry. Do you know what is beneficial to you? I know, do you know? Today, I really want you to know. How are you living? When I close my eyes and stretch out my legs, God is also satisfied, and I am also very satisfied. Is this not an enlightened person? Enlightenment and promotion.

There is a huge disaster in this world, which is that people lack nothing, but they are just looking for trouble and looking for something to be unhappy about. In fact, I am also deeply affected by it. Especially some couples, when they return home, they are like enemies. Can that face look good? No matter how many beauty products you buy, you cannot beautify it. I think it is better for you to dedicate the beauty products to God and then receive some joy from God, which is more beautiful.

Why look for trouble for no reason and be like enemies? I think, what kind of mind is this? They lack everything but joy. How difficult is it to be a little joyful? They look for suffering for no reason, and they still do not understand what they came here to do when they die. When they die, they close their eyes and stretch out their legs. Alas, my life has been full of suffering.

Someone asked me, Teacher, I am going to die. Do you think I am lacking something in my life? I said, You lack virtue. Is that not a disaster? They live in disaster all their lives, filled with worry! People are not smart, they cannot see through things, they do not know how to do things, they do not know how to treat people, and then they do not study hard to treat people well. When they are unhappy, they say, I am leaving the church. Does leaving solve your silly problem? It cannot be solved. It is given to you by God, and nothing is useful.

In the fleeting years of a person's life, living in sorrow for many vain things is simply a disaster. Look at the people now. Who lacks food and drink? Of course, there are some who do not lack debt. You deliberately create a pile of things. I say, how can this person not have the Dao? How many people live in joy like this? There are really not many, they just lack joy. People just do not understand what it means to live, and I am very emotional.

When I first started establishing the church, I met a gambling king from Southeast Asia, a gambling king from the early 1990s. He was uneducated and did not like to go to school since he was a child. His father was a gambler, and he was also a gambler. He liked to play cards with people and gamble money. That is how the child was. Later, he grew up.

One day, a spirit said to him: Do you want me to come in? If I come in, I will make you win every bet. As a result, he won every bet. He told me that his story was amazing and wonderful, and his story was made into a movie. Once, when he was gambling with those children, he drew a handful of bad cards, so bad that they could not be worse. Then that thing told him to bet. So he bet. When he turned it over, it was not the cards he had drawn at all. They were all Aces, four Aces. He really won every bet. Later, he took a helicopter to gamble money.

As a result, after a few years, he earned almost twenty million Singapore dollars, which is one hundred million RMB. One day, the spirit left, and he lost every bet! He suddenly owed three million in debt! Then he stood on the balcony of their house and jumped down. Three hours later, he opened his eyes and found himself sitting on the balcony of their house, and then he began to believe in the Lord. After believing in the Lord, he told his story. Later, he served in the church, and I invited him to our church to share his testimony.

How painful must it have been to jump down? Why do people have to go that way in their lives? They treat vain things as real. When that spirit came, he made money. When the spirit left, he lost money. Actually, I tell you, if you really have the spirit of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, you will not lack money. If that evil spirit can give people all they need in life, will our God not give you more wisdom, knowledge, and joy?

Some people go to school and compare themselves with others all day long, and they are so uncomfortable. They cannot compare with others, so they chase after desperately. I tell you, many people are like this. I am in the front, and he is chasing desperately behind, chasing so tiredly. After going to work, they chase behind others, and they are still chasing behind others until they die. They like to rely on themselves very much. Do you think that is not foolish?

I am emotional. There are also many preachers who like to compare themselves. Why do they like to compare themselves? I don't know. Anyway, you are a pastor, and I am also a pastor. Why should I ask you to pray for me? There are many people who have this idea. I have known several pastors who have died in the past few years. Does he know that our healing and deliverance is good? He knows. He just thinks: You are a pastor, and I am also a pastor. Why should I ask you to pray for me? I would rather go to the hospital and send money to the hospital. OK, then I will suffer a little bit in the hospital. Later, he was treated by the hospital until he was dying, and he was lying in a coffin.

Chinese Mingding Destiny is really the Dao of God. As far as I know, no matter which denomination he is, including Martin Luther's, the Chinese Mingding Destiny that I founded should be the most in line with the Bible. Why is it in line with the Bible? My criteria for judging are also very simple, which is whether this person is like Jesus or not. Does he do what Jesus did? Does he do what Jesus did not do?

Some people do a lot of what Jesus did not do, and they do not do what Jesus did. Have you noticed that? It is just the opposite for me. I do well what Jesus did, and what Jesus did not do, I just let it go. So, people in this world have many vain things. You look around and see many stories, many vain things. Yesterday, I heard a story. I am not giving a testimony for the evil spirit. I am telling you that the evil spirit is still real.

Yesterday, I heard a story about an entrepreneur. He was just a small electrician before. One day, he went to a temple to worship idols, and suddenly the idol began to talk to him: I want to make you a wealthy person. Do you want to? He said he wanted to, but the idol proposed a condition. He was in his twenties at the time. He asked, What condition? The idol said, You can only live to be fifty years old. He felt that fifty years old was a long time, so he agreed to this condition.

Actually, a person's life is not long. In the blink of an eye, they reach fifty, sixty, and seventy. If you ask those older people, they all feel that it has arrived in the blink of an eye. Even those who are sixty, seventy, or eighty years old, if they are sisters, they still have a girlish heart inside, and they do not know that they are old when they are old. He felt that fifty years old was already very old at that time, so he accepted this condition.

From then on, he was particularly busy, buying land, building buildings, and brewing wine. His wine brand was very famous. I won't advertise it for him. His business was incredibly successful. However, he died at the age of fifty. This has become a spiritual story. Our God will not give you money and take your life. Our God gives us the breath of life so that we can live out the glorious image of God.

I ask you, before the age of fifty, so many projects, buying land, building buildings, doing business, doing this and doing that, were you busy enough? Busy. I ask you, was it hard? It was hard. With eyes closed and legs stretched out, his whole life was spent in vanity, and then he went to the demons. Do you think going to the demons is a joke? That place is not a good place. The days of suffering have just begun. Therefore, it is better to have real things than to add more vain things.

I tell you, the God of Chinese Mingding Destiny is powerful, far exceeding all those in authority and power, and even exceeding all the dark forces in the air. We are building His glorious church, which is the body of Jesus Christ, to trample all things under our feet. Money is not a problem at all.

Therefore, our brothers and sisters must begin to rebuild. I think those who are idle and like to be unhappy, who like to look for trouble, should readjust and know what is beneficial to them in their lives. I ask you, what is the benefit of doing scientific research with great pressure? There is no benefit. Without God, all things become meaningless and have no power.

Like many of our brothers and sisters, their legs are about to be amputated, and they are still busy distinguishing good from evil. It is also difficult to deal with. Now they are coming out little by little. Many of us are sick, very sick. How did it come about? It is because they want to live a better life and treat vain things as meaningful things to care about and pursue.

I am emotional. You think, the investment failed and then he was trapped again. What are people doing? The people in this world need to read the Book of Ecclesiastes so much. They need to ask themselves one thing: What is beneficial to us? If you do not know what is beneficial to you until you die, have you not lived in vain? I wish everyone would become smart and know these disasters one after another, so that these disasters will not be added to us.

Scripture

Let us begin to read the Scripture, Ecclesiastes chapter 6, verses 11 to 12.

“Since many words increase vanity, how does this profit anyone? For who knows what is good for a person in his fleeting days while they pass like a shadow? Who can tell him what will happen under the sun after he is gone?” (Ecclesiastes 6:11-12)

Prayer

God, give us wisdom and intelligence today. Let us know what is beneficial to us in our lives. God, open our spiritual eyes today, so that we may know what is vain and what is real. God, may we receive wisdom, knowledge, and joy from You. Let us know that You are our treasure for life. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Scripture Background

Solomon wrote this Book of Ecclesiastes, chapter after chapter. In the first chapter, he wrote Vanity of vanities, that the things under the sun are all vanity. What does this mean? The things in the spiritual realm are real. The things in the spiritual realm are not vain. That is to say, the things under the sun are just a shadow, just chasing after the wind. What controls this world? The things in the spiritual realm. This is a very core concept of Chinese Mingding Destiny.

The second chapter speaks of God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please Him. This is why I encourage everyone to be a person who pleases God and seeks to please God.

In the third chapter, you will find that there is a time for everything, a time to be born, and a time to die. What does God do this for? So that people may have reverence in their hearts. Everything is determined in the spiritual realm. Many things are not under human control. You have to know that you are a person and you cannot control them. Many things are not solved by your efforts. Effort is useless. There are many people who make efforts. God does this so that people may have reverence in their hearts.

But if you observe the things under the sun carefully, you will find a lot of oppression, false accusations, and so on, a smoky atmosphere. A lot of evil things under the sun. Where do these evil things come from? Including our brothers and sisters, where did the sins you have suffered today come from? From the spiritual realm. Many of the evil things under the sun are closely related to the things in the spiritual realm. What are the things in the spiritual realm related to? Related to curses and blessings.

Don't just look at this thing. It is unfair to him. It is actually very fair! These things happen to you, and your two legs cannot walk and have to be amputated; the child is autistic, deaf, and mute. Other people's children are born well, but our children are like this. You will ask questions. God, God in Heaven, why do You let these things happen to me? What are you asking? Injustice has its source, and debt has its debtor. Everything is determined like this.

So, you have to know that you are a person. Do not complain about these evil things under the sun. You do not know. It is very hurtful to say that you do not know. But I feel that I do not know a lot of things. I am a person, so I need God.

The fifth chapter says, There is nothing better for a person than to rejoice in their labour. This is our portion. Don't fight for this injustice or that injustice. In the end, you will become an injustice. To rejoice in one's life is a gift from God, but there are few such people. Sometimes people pray for what? They pray for money, they pray for business. What will happen after they finish praying? It is very tragic.

So, in the vain and fleeting days of a person's life, what is beneficial to us? When you take the college entrance examination, you feel that taking the college entrance examination is the most important thing. Pastor, my child is going to take the college entrance examination. Pray for him. I said, Okay, may he perform beyond expectations. You feel that it is very important. When taking the civil service examination, you feel that taking the civil service examination is very important; when taking the graduate entrance examination, you feel that taking the graduate entrance examination is very important; when going to work, you feel that going to work is very important.

These are all vanities, and there is nothing you can control. Because it is important, you are controlled by it; because it is important, you are disturbed by it. Originally, you were joyful, but because it is important, anyone who touches this matter makes you uncomfortable. One touch and you will be uncomfortable for the rest of your life. Alas, truly lamentable.

Having written this, what is good for a man in his fleeting days? This is the question Solomon will raise. Now let us ask ourselves, what is beneficial to us? I am particularly saddened that many people do not regard God as a treasure, Jesus Christ as a precious thing! What troubles us are those vain things of the world. They may seem very real to you, but they are all vanities. Man comes naked and goes naked, and you cannot take anything with you.

Therefore, I feel very sad when I see those who do not regard Jesus as a treasure. If I advise you, I am afraid you will feel pressured; if I do not advise you, I am afraid you will suffer loss. Alas, as a preacher, I have finally found something to be sad about. How can I not be sad? It is lamentable to see.

So Solomon says:

There is an evil I have seen under the sun, and it lies heavily on mankind: God gives some people wealth, possessions, and honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy these things, and strangers consume them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil. A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity. (Ecclesiastes 6:1-3)

Is this not a misfortune? What is truly important to us in life? When we pray, we mostly pray for worldly things. Why not pray for Jesus Christ to be my Lord and King, to rule my life, to make me a person who pleases God throughout my life, and to grant me wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and joy? How wonderful that would be!

Solomon was filled with emotion, and in his old age, as a preacher, he summarized his past life and discovered that before a person dies, looking back on his remaining years, he realizes that he has done many things in his life, but what has he accomplished? What is beneficial to us? This is what Solomon posed. This is a very good question.

Jesus Christ is a treasure. Jesus Christ is the most important and real thing for us. Evil spirits can give you wealth, but they also cause you to die early. But if evil spirits can make you wealthy, our God possesses all things in the universe, He is an extremely wealthy God. If you obtain God, will you be poor? You will not be poor, and you will certainly prosper.

In Genesis, we have a chapter that speaks of God as the God who prospers. God's will is prosperity, so do not live in misfortune. Look at what people seek; they do not seek God, dwelling in Him, but instead seek wealth, riches, honor, and face. These things have no meaning.

The First Misfortune of Living: Lacking Nothing, Yet Unable to Enjoy

After a person is cursed, food has no flavor. The Bible says that God cursed the serpent, and it eats dust all its life. Have you ever eaten dust? Who eats that stuff? Who would eat dust for no reason? It's okay, you can do an experiment, get some soil and lick it, it's very unpalatable.

If everything tastes like eating dirt, aren't you sick? It's not saying that he is so hungry that he is emaciated and eats dirt, it’s just that the feeling of eating is like a snake eating dirt, bland, unable to enjoy, without the function of eating. A person wants wealth, riches, honor, to start a business, to make money, and then lacks nothing, but loses all the joy in life.

As you all know, I am a person who knows how to live well, because God has given me a mouth, and I am quite good at eating. People say: How do you know how to eat so well? I have been hungry for a day, and everything tastes delicious. You have been hungry for a day and everything tastes delicious, then if I have been hungry for two days, everything will also taste delicious. Actually, I tell you, it's not that everything tastes delicious after being hungry for a day, it's just that he enjoys eating anything.

You know Indian food is delicious, people say: Is Indian food eaten with hands? It's okay, I can use a spoon and fork. If you want me to use my hands, I can also use my hands. Indian flying pancakes are also very delicious, you should have the opportunity to eat Indian food.

In Singapore and Malaysia, there is also something called Laksa, have you eaten Laksa? Delicious! Singapore has food from all over, north, south, east, and west, it is a food paradise, it just depends on whether you know how to eat. Some people don't know how to eat, and when they see Indian food, it's sticky, no, no; when they see Laksa, no, what is that yellowish paste?

It was after reading Ecclesiastes that I learned to appreciate these things. Before, I felt it was so bothersome, planting, harvesting, grinding into flour, and then making this and that. God, it would be better to have a USB port for charging, a hybrid, where you can fill up with gas on one side and charge on the other, how wonderful! Later, I discovered that God's creation is good, and if a person cannot enjoy delicious food in this life, that is a curse.

Therefore, for a lifetime, you must make good use of what God has given you, and live this life wonderfully. Without God, I tell you, food does not taste good. If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you will rejoice in your labor, and you will enjoy the fruits of your labor.

After planting the land, wait for it to grow. After growing up, harvest it, thresh the wheat, and then grind it into flour. Every step is a joy. When you cut the vegetables you planted into fillings, roll out the dough, then wrap and boil them, sit at the table, pour a glass of wine, eat dumplings and drink wine, the more you drink, the merrier.

Someone asks: Teacher, what are you talking about? I am talking about how people must know how to live, I am a person who knows how to live well. Do not think that preachers are just those simple-minded ascetics. I am an enlightened monk, not an ascetic. Do you understand?

You say: God, give me this, God give me that. Even if you get everything, you make yourself miserable all day long, this is the misfortune of a lifetime. In fact, a person can eat and drink so much in a lifetime, isn't it just eating delicious food and drinking spicy drinks? When you have nothing to do, pour a glass of wine, get a plate of peanuts, it is very enjoyable. Open a can, eat well, and live well, this is God's good will for you.

The Second Misfortune of Living: Not Having Joy in the Heart

You must be careful, not understanding what is beneficial to you. It's not about being a listed company, it's about eating and sleeping well. The second misfortune, not having joy in the heart, that is a misfortune.

A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive a proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and its name is shrouded in obscurity; though it never saw the sun and knew nothing, it finds rest rather than does that man. (Ecclesiastes 6:3-5)

I want to marry one wife, and then marry another wife. If you marry so many wives, surely many wives will cuckold you, making you uncomfortable. Green hats flying everywhere, worn very fittingly. Having a hundred sons, I tell you there are too many people who live without understanding. Actually, what is the use of those sons? Looking at this old man, these hundred sons think, how can this old man not die? Quickly give me your house, hurry up and die.

People do not think this old man is important, they just think that with so many sons, I can only get 1% of the inheritance, and they spend all day calculating whether they can get 2%, or whether they can get 3%, some even calculate whether they can get 50%, and some calculate to take it all, where do they have time to care for that old guy. Oh my goodness, the worries in my heart!

Those hundred sons, today this one goes out and hits someone, paying compensation; tomorrow that one kills someone, going to jail. I ask you, if you have a hundred sons, are there more or fewer troubles? Oh my, it's a mess. I tell you, not having joy in life, feeling uncomfortable in the heart.

As a result, these hundred sons, plus five with autism, five with depression, five with bad intentions, five causing trouble, and five who are transgender, sons becoming daughters, everything is there. Oh my goodness, this person's life, you say they have everything, but they do not have joy, is this not vanity? Is this not a misfortune?

And then the neighbors come to complain: Look at your child... Oh, don't mention it, don't mention it, it's upsetting. Some are admitted to prestigious universities, and some are not, and some are wearing security uniforms, oh my goodness! Misfortune.

Therefore, those who do not have joy in life, what are you doing? I tell you why, it is because people do not have wisdom from God, so many things become very important, and many vain things become very important.

The Third Misfortune of Living: Not Knowing You Will Die

A person who does not know they will die is a tragedy. Have you noticed that everyone in the world wants to live. It is a tragedy for people not to know what is beneficial to them, thinking that raising a hundred children is beneficial, and then thinking that they can rely on them for old age, but in the end no one takes care of them, and even after death, no one buries them. The most deadly thing is not knowing you will die.

Later, I observed carefully, I am a person who likes to do research, and now there are still many research projects in front of me. Like my father, I always have work to do in this life. Creating work is a great skill, our family has endless work to do, we have to work on May Day, we have to work on National Day, a lifetime of joy.

But the problem is that people must know they will die, this matter must be studied. This research shocked me, many of my works are research works, researching what? Researches on how people live. You have to research, just listening to me is useless. This research of mine is amazing, do you know what I have researched? The fact that people have to die even if they don't want to die is a huge disaster in life.

Like me, I have known for a long time that I will die, do you know that you will die? We don't need to use fingers, brains, or calculators, just stomp on the ground with our heels and we know that one day we will die. For example, if someone says you will die, I don't think it is a curse, they are telling the truth. The heaviest and most troublesome misfortune is that people do not know they will die. The Bible says:

Even if he lives a thousand years twice over but fails to enjoy his prosperity, do not all go to the same place? (Ecclesiastes 6:6)

Ecclesiastes is written in a literary style, haven't they all died? I continue to research, what to do if they all die? I have to die even if I can't die. Oh my goodness! So later I discovered that once a person knows they will die, what should they do? Without eternal life, everything becomes like blowing out a candle. It is completely meaningless. So what happens? We seek eternal life.

So you ask me if I am afraid of death, what am I afraid of that thing for? Wishing you a long life is not a curse, long life, ten thousand years is not enough, I wish you to live in eternity. There is a saying: If you do not know life, how can you know death, it is actually reversed, it is wrong, it is If you do not know death, how can you know life. You must study where the end is, and when you see that it is not the end, it is just a transfer station, changing to another subway line, changing from the blue line to the yellow line.

Our lives, along with our cognition of things, our cognition of the spiritual realm, then death is no longer within our consideration. Therefore, despising life, despising death, this is because of God. Fear God, and God will be pleased with us. God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to whoever He pleases. Such a person, knowing they will die, seeks eternal life and obtains the power of God.

So who are we? We are people who have obtained eternal life! We are people who have obtained the way of eternal life! We are people who have attained the Tao! We are people who have obtained the power of Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead! We can dominate the spiritual world and become a victorious people.

No matter what kind of demon it is, no matter what kind of spirit it is, all the powers of darkness in the air are trampled under our feet. Because we have already seen through the matter of death, we know what is beneficial to us. People who do not know they will die are always afraid of death, and those who are afraid of death are very anxious.

Once I went to a funeral, my friend was lying in the coffin, my friend was afraid of death so he went to the hospital, people like me who want to die can never die. My old brother, I had Covid a year earlier than him, and almost died, he had Covid a year later than me, I did not go to the hospital, he went to the hospital. Now he is lying in the coffin, and I am standing outside the coffin. Why? Because I am not afraid of death. I want to die but I can't die, I want to leave this world and be with my God, this is really the truth, being with God is immeasurably good.

The Fourth Misfortune of Living: Toiling All Life Just for Food

Ecclesiastes chapter 6, verse 7, a man's labor is all for his mouth, yet he is not satisfied. Someone says: Didn't you say to eat, drink, and enjoy, to enjoy delicious food? How come you say that a man's labor is all for his mouth, yet he is not satisfied? How has this become a misfortune? I tell you, the purpose of a person's life is for joy, happiness in the heart, not happiness in the mouth. A person's heart must be satisfied to be truly happy.

What we need to discuss is whether life is only for filling the stomach? Snakes also eat to fill their stomachs, but if they are not satisfied in their hearts, it is useless. So this is a misfortune. If life is only for eating, isn't that a misfortune? People must know that the greatest benefit in life is to have satisfaction in their hearts.

What kind of person can have satisfaction in their hearts? Only those who see through life and death, those who need God, God dwells in us, and there is an unspeakable joy within us. This joy makes us happy no matter what we eat, drink, or do, it's just like living in heaven.

The Fifth Misfortune of Living: Not Knowing You Are a Person

Think about it, when you are talking to someone, if someone says you are not a person, is that not hard to hear? All things on earth have names, but man is named by God. Adam and Eve's names were given by God, they are people. There are two kinds of things on earth, one is people, and the other is beasts, which are animals. Today we must know what a person is and what a beast is.

What is a person? A person must know that they are a person, and you will know your capabilities, which are probably within the scope of a person. Because a person is a person, you must know that your strength is not great, so don't argue with God. You yourself are a person, your responsibility can probably only manage some beasts, you cannot manage the spiritual realm.

You must know that you are very limited, a person of the flesh. If you want to contend in the spiritual realm, contend with those who are stronger than you in the spirit, you cannot win. Don't we have a saying? You can't twist your arm against your thigh, don't think you are very powerful, you cannot control when you are born and when you die. You must know what is beneficial to you, don't live like a beast, live like a person.

How can you live like a person? If the Spirit of God dwells in you, you will live like a person. If the spirit of a demon dwells in you, you will live like a beast. Therefore, the soul of a beast goes down to the earth, and the spirit of a person rises and is with God. If you know you are a person, you need God! If you think you are a beast, you don't need anything, you need bones, you need animal corpses, you need to eat meat. So don't argue, have you figured out what is beneficial to us?

The Sixth Misfortune of Living: Increasing Vain Things

Since many things increase vanity, how does one benefit? (Ecclesiastes 6:11)

After increasing vain things, what is the benefit? Actually, there is no benefit. For example, if you want to pursue becoming a unicorn, that is easy, just buy a horn and put it on your head. You say: My unicorn is not that unicorn. What is your unicorn? A listed company, corporate competition.

Many vain things, people do not know. I ask you, is it hard to do an enterprise like Xiaomi? It is hard. Will it be sanctioned? Yes. If you become a Wall Street tycoon, is it hard? It is hard. If you become the President of the United States, is it hard? It is hard. What can you do that is not hard?

People in this world are very hard, the higher you go, the harder it is. So these vain things cannot support our entire lives. Increasing vain things is useless, there is no benefit, only one thing is the most important, and that is our God. Therefore, Solomon concludes that a lifetime of fleeting days is like a shadow passing by, swish you reach sixty or seventy years old, swish you reach seventy or eighty years old, swish you close your eyes and kick your legs.

I think what is beneficial to us in life? If a person does not know that Jesus Christ is a treasure throughout their life, does not know that Jesus Christ is our healer, does not know that Jesus Christ is our strength, Jesus Christ is our refuge, Jesus Christ is our rock, Jesus Christ is our comfort, Jesus Christ is our joy, is that not a tragedy? What things are beneficial to us? Vain things are of no benefit.
