I. Introduction
Good day to all! Today, we continue with the series on God’s presence. Why is God’s presence so crucial? Because it is the key to resolving problems. Some people, as they live, end up inviting demons into their lives, becoming demon-possessed, which is disastrous. It is vital to understand that with God’s presence, one lacks nothing in life. Even if you only have a rod in your hand, with God’s presence, you will return with a large herd of cattle and sheep, each worth thousands. Consider the value of what you bring back! When Jacob returned with these possessions, he gave gifts worth millions to his brother, let alone what he kept for himself.
With God's presence, we can boldly declare that what we ask for and proclaim will not be in vain! Like Samuel, with God's presence, even if we face mountains of difficulties, we can trample them underfoot without fear. With God's presence, we can lead people into the Promised Land. With God's presence, we can live out God's glory in this world. What people need most is not money, but the presence of God. To be busy with this and that, only to lose God’s presence, what is the point of living? Once your eyes close and your legs give way, all that you have in this world, your love, your hate, all vanish into nothing. I have spoken so much about God’s presence in the past so that everyone can emulate those who have God’s presence.
Today’s title is interesting. At first glance, some might find it uncomfortable: I am about to die. You might think it's inauspicious? Yet, it is actually very encouraging. Those who trust in God live in eternal life and do not shy away from death. When alive, they have God’s presence; when the body dies, the spirit returns to God, where a glorious crown is reserved for us in eternity. Once, I said I was about to die, and it frightened others, but I seemed fine myself. What kind of person is this? About to die, yet not afraid. Afraid of what? I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time! Unlike some who desperately want to live. Someone asked, My mother is sick, should I take her to the hospital? If you ask that, you'll definitely be sent to the hospital, don't ask.
Today’s theme is I am about to die, but God will surely be with you, leading you back to the Promised Land. I must tell you, there was a time when I was really about to die. I felt something was wrong, so I told the brothers and sisters about the most important thing. You see, I wasn’t worried about whether Chinese Mingding Destiny could continue or exist. What I was most concerned about was whether God was with you. What did I say? I said, I am about to die, but God will surely be with you! Know that the most important words are spoken when a person is about to die. Let's pretend you are about to die. If anyone feels their scalp tingle, don't practice this with me, it shows you still have fear. If anyone is willing to practice with me, pretend you are about to die, what would you tell your children? What would you tell those around you? This house is for you, that house is for you, that’s how worldly people are.
My father lived to a ripe old age. One day, he called us all together and said, This house is for your younger brother, that house is for your younger sister. Then he gave me a string of cursed items, those coins with portraits printed on them. Later, I put that string of coins at home, and my son got rhinitis, all sorts of things happened. But when I am about to die, what I am most concerned about is that God will surely be with you. This is what God wants to do. God wants to be with you, but do you want God’s presence? That's the key! I tell you, houses cannot solve problems. Looking back at your journey, can you prove that? It has been proven that houses cannot solve problems, money cannot solve problems, nothing can solve problems, but God’s presence can. But do you have God's presence today? Sometimes I am filled with emotion when I smell the stench of the old horse.
I am about to die, but God will surely be with you! These words were spoken by Jacob. The most important thing in a person’s life is God's presence. Do you agree with this? God wants to lead us into the Promised Land, but the road to the Promised Land is littered with corpses. Was that because God didn't lead them in? No. God was determined to lead them in, but they refused. How many in this generation do not know God's heart? How many clearly see God's desire to be with us, yet reject Him? A great number! Today I tell you, the Church must experience cleansing once again. Those who do not yearn for God's presence, who love the world but not God, must be cleansed again. Because we want to build a holy, unified, glorious, truth-abiding, and victorious army church!
Today, I am issuing a warning! Can you give your pastor an explanation? It's okay if you don't come on Sunday, explain to your pastor. If you are working today, I agree, I have no problem. But if nothing is going on and you can't explain it, I will kick you out! Carefully observe your pastoral district and see what kind of people are there. What kind of people are you shepherding? What kind of garbage is there? I don't want garbage. All I want are people with God’s presence. Even yearning for God's presence is far better than loving the world. Today, brothers and sisters must clear the garbage from their minds. Then you don't have to come to me saying, Teacher, I have a headache; Teacher, my heart hurts. Aches and pains, here a head, there a butt, never ending, it's emotional! Brothers and sisters must know how wonderful the choice of God’s presence is! People treat treasures as garbage, and keep garbage inside. How can there be God’s presence?
When God looks inside you, it’s full of shit! Some of us probably have dogs. Imagine you come home after work, open the door, shit on the left, shit on the right, everywhere, the dog has diarrhea. Ah, you tiptoe, trying to find a place without any shit to step on. I tell you, God opens the door and it's full of shit! What will God do? Quickly leave. Full of runny shit, and you want God's presence? Old Ma opens the door and thinks, this place is pretty good. Actually, I hate people who keep dogs, because we often see piles of dog shit in our neighborhood. Who knows who's going to have dog shit luck! A sister said, “Teacher, I want to get a dog.” I said, First, take good care of yourself. I don't know how many people I offended by saying that? If you have a dog among us, can you carry a plastic bag and pick up your dog’s shit anytime, anywhere?
Once, I told the brothers and sisters that God would fulfill all my prayers! As a result, a brother came to my side with a strange expression and said, If you prayed and then died before it was fulfilled, what then? Ah, checkmate! I told him, Even if I die, God will fulfill what I have proclaimed! The thing I care most about in my life is God being with me. I can let go of anything, but I will not let go of my God. How many are willing to emulate me in this? I have said it countless times, since I believed in the Lord until today, I have never missed a Sunday. Amazing, right? Unlike some people, missing Sundays; three days of fishing, two days of drying nets kind of situation.
Do you know today what Jacob said in his last words as he was dying? He said, I am about to die, but God will surely be with you, leading you back to the land of your fathers! Today, brothers and sisters, I also want to tell you, even if I die, God will certainly use His hand to sustain you. God will surely be with you. This is God's promise, never changing; this is God's will, never changing! Jacob went to Egypt, God once told him, “I give this land to you and your descendants. But now he's dying in Egypt, has it been fulfilled? God's promise has not yet been fulfilled. But Jacob has a belief in his bones, that even if I die, God will surely fulfill it!
If you look at Jacob's view on this matter, you will have a very amazing discovery. Jacob said, “Joseph, do not bury me in Egypt, send me back to the Promised Land, which is the place God gave me.” You say, what use are bones? But it doesn't matter, that is the ambition of a person when they're alive, that is a declaration of faith! He died, but even in death, he wanted to enter the land of Canaan! His son, Joseph, was the prime minister of Egypt. When he was about to die, he instructed his son, “When I die, do not bury me, leave my coffin in this place.” Joseph was never buried. When the Israelites left Egypt, they carried his coffin with them. How many years was that? Hundreds of years later.
Do we have this aspiration within us? To enter the Promised Land even in death; I didn’t see the fulfillment of God’s promise while I was alive, but the ultimate promise is to enter it even in death. These are great people! Jacob was about to die, what do the things that happened later have to do with him? Seemingly nothing. Can he manage it? He cannot manage it. But I tell you, in Jacob’s bones, there was an idea that he would live forever. In the spiritual realm, he could see his children and grandchildren enter the Promised Land with his own eyes, see the fulfillment of God’s promise, because he knew that God’s promise would never fail!
Today, come and believe in the Lord with the faith of “die if I die.” You cannot but experience God’s promises, the faith of die if I die is extraordinary! Despise everything, how can you not see God's presence? Despise houses, despise money, despise dollars, even despise RMB, and look solely to God, yearning for God's presence! Despise the business you are doing, despise the job you are doing, despise your own family and look to God’s promise, and you will surely see! Today, brothers and sisters must know that angels will cheer for a small group of people like us on earth who have this ambition, and Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in heaven will applaud for us.
Look! There's another group of people like Jacob on this earth; Look! There's another group of people like Joseph on this earth. Angels will cheer for us! Never again be the kind of person who clings to life and fears death, just wanting to live another day on this earth. Jacob was about to die, and he didn’t say, “Quick, send me to the hospital for an IV drip, find the best medicine, let me live another year.” Not at all, he didn’t care about that at all, so Jacob lived to one hundred and forty-seven years old, quite a long life! Brothers and sisters who love the world among us, study today’s scripture carefully, I am wholeheartedly advising everyone. We do not know how much impact it will have. If you are full of diseases, that proves one thing: you really love the world, and demons are constantly with you. Repent and turn to God!
II. Scripture
And Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers. Moreover, I have given to you rather than to your brothers one mountain slope that I took from the hand of the Amorites with my sword and my bow.” (Genesis 48:21-22)
III. Prayer
God, today grant us wisdom and understanding, let Your words be engraved on our hearts; God, today let us look to You, value Your presence, emulate Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, and become people who have Your presence, so that everything we do in this world may go smoothly! God, even in death, we want to enter the Promised Land; God, Your promise never fails, let us in our days on this earth be able to emulate our Lord Jesus Christ, be able to build God's glorious church on this earth, may Your presence fill us; God, may You lead us all into the Promised Land. Look! Your army is being raised up. God, shape us, mold us, and make us Your mighty army, to trample the devil and the enemy, to see Your glorious presence, until the end, to come before You and receive Your praise, and become faithful and good servants; God, today lead us, shape us, deal with us, remove the filth and uncleanness within us, let us be more in line with Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
IV. Scripture Background
The background of this scripture is very interesting. Someone told Joseph, “Your father is sick.” It was a sickness unto death. I tell you, a person must be sick for a period of time before death, but it’s not really a disease, it’s just that the spirit is about to leave. Then he brought two sons, the eldest, Manasseh, and the second, Ephraim, to see his father, Jacob.
And Jacob said to Joseph, “God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me. He said to me, ‘I am going to make you fruitful and increase your numbers. I will make you a community of peoples, and I will give this land as an everlasting possession to your descendants after you.’ (Genesis 48:3-4)
Our God cares about this matter. He is not telling you to drift on this earth. That’s Cain who drifts on this earth. Jacob is very interesting and said a lot of other things.
Then he blessed Joseph and said, “May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked faithfully, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day, the angel who has delivered me from all harm—may he bless these boys. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly on the earth.” (Genesis 48:15-16)
Jacob's understanding of God is so clear. Sometimes when I give New Year's greetings to people, I say, “May the God whom I serve with my heart bless you!” These words are very good. I think this is Jacob's God. Looking back on Jacob's life journey, it was full of ups and downs, but there was a reason behind everything. Jacob's wife Rachel stole the idols, as a result, she died in Ephrath. Why mention this? Because Rachel was Joseph's mother. She stole the idols, as a result, she got rid of God’s presence and brought in the presence of demons. She had a difficult labor when giving birth to Benjamin, and died after giving birth to him, so we need to sound the alarm.
Jacob told Joseph about this, Rachel died there. Why? Because she stole idols; she thought her father's idols were very useful. Imagine how terrible that is! Were her father's idols useful? They were not useful. There are some things we should often reflect on; the things we thought were useful, can make us die! This is a lesson. Jacob told them, Do not imitate my wife Rachel, although she is cute, she does not have God's presence in her bones. In her bones, there was only the presence of her husband. So brothers and sisters, no matter what you value, you must not value it more than God. As a result, Jacob blessed these two boys.
The angel who has delivered me from all harm—may he bless these boys. May they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they increase greatly on the earth.” (Genesis 48:16)
May they prosper, may they all learn a lesson from Rachel. What lesson did they later learn? They became Jeroboam; Israel, led by Ephraim, built a calf of Jeroboam. What happened in the end? There is no tribe of Ephraim, no tribe of Manasseh now. Only the tribes of Judah and Benjamin are left on the land of Israel. All the other tribes are gone, they disappeared somewhere. So, these words blessing Ephraim and Manasseh also bring some difficulties to everyone. Jacob likes to treat the younger son as the elder son, and the elder son as the younger son, because that is how he came to be. As a result, he blessed Ephraim, and established Ephraim above Manasseh.
Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and bring you back to the land of your fathers. (Genesis 48:21)
Who was Moses talking to about this? Everyone needs to know, who wrote this passage? It was not written by Jacob, nor written by Joseph, but by Moses. Four hundred years later, how could Moses know about this? It is possible that the Israelites passed it down orally for four hundred years, or it is also possible that Moses received it from God when he was on the mountain. Genesis chapters one to eleven must have been received on the mountain, because no one else knew. But the stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all passed down by word of mouth and passed down to Moses' time.
Why did Moses write this passage here? Because it was to lay the groundwork for the Israelites leaving Egypt. Look! Israelites, today you left Egypt. It was said by our ancestors, the old man called Israel, when he lived to one hundred and forty-seven years old: I am about to die, but God will surely be with you! That’s to encourage the Israelites to yearn for God’s presence, and to yearn to return to the Promised Land. But all of the Israelites who heard this passage died. Only Joshua and Caleb entered. Joshua and Caleb received a double portion. We have been thinking, did Jacob's declaration fail? No, it is people who cause God's promise to fail. God's promise is still faithful!
Moses spoke to the Israelites, and today also speaks to our generation. We are the spiritual Israelites. It is to tell us that God’s promise will never fail, and God will surely be with us! But where have we put God's presence? Sometimes I am so emotional, I want to make up my mind and kick some people out and let them start over! Don’t you desire it? You are just treating your family as God, and treating your work as God; you can put anything down, except putting God down. I tell you, you are not worthy to be here! You can come to me when you are in trouble, but when you are not in trouble, you abandon God, and then I will also abandon you.
Today, everyone must know that Moses wrote this passage to allow the Israelites to see, to let them know. Did they know? They’re still ignorant bugs! They still want to live a smog life, don't they? How foolish! Our church really doesn’t care about offerings or not. Our church only cares about being in line with God's will. I will never build a smog church, and I will never allow smog things to breed in the church! This is spoken to our generation to tell us that God’s promise is not abandoned, but you have abandoned God’s promise. This is spoken to the Israelites, and also spoken to our generation.
If you are like Joseph, you will get more! Who got more later? Joshua and Caleb got more, they got a double portion. Today, can we become a person who gets a double portion of the promise? It's double of others, or even ten times! God just has that kind of intention. So, in the spectrum of fulfilling God’s promise, you will find that someone only gets a little, and someone gets a lot. From one piece of silver, two pieces of silver, five pieces of silver, you look up, and God will take away the only amount you have and give it to those who have much. It looks unreasonable, but I will never refuse. God said, “I will take away what you have and give it to you.” I will never say I'm embarrassed, this is what God wants to give us. This passage is exactly the declaration spoken to us.
V. The Thing That Matters Most When Dying
The thing that matters most when dying is actually the thing we should care about in life. You should often lie in bed, as if lying in a coffin, and think, what am I concerned about when I am about to die? Will you still care whether your company is listed? It has nothing to do with you. Will you still care who goes to college? Will you still care whether your business signed that order? Will you still care? I won’t care about that stuff. I don’t even care about Chinese Mingding Destiny, because that’s God’s doing. The thing I care most about is God's presence. Are there people who try to live a few more years when they are about to die, but end up in the ICU? Are there people who want to live a few more years, but end up dying miserably after electrotherapy and chemotherapy? That’s because people's view of death is too much!
Do we usually care about this matter? Do we usually value the presence of God? Today, brothers and sisters, you need to know exactly why we are afraid? Because the things we care about are all worldly things; why do we worry? Because what we care about are all worldly things; why do we have so many diseases? Because our concerns, our worries, and our fears are all about these little worldly things. Why am I not afraid? Because I look to the glory of heaven, and I am like a person who is about to die every day. Some people once took out a passage of scripture and said, “We are like people who are about to die.” This is what Paul said in 1 Corinthians, many people don’t understand, but do you understand it today? We are all like people who are about to die every day, why? Because we have no concerns in this world; because when we are about to die, the thing that matters most becomes very real.
When dying, the things Jacob cared about should also be the things we care about: to care about the fulfillment of God’s promise; to care about the glorious church of God being built; to care about the people of God entering the Promised Land. So today, I long for brothers and sisters to wake up, and live every day like you are going to die tomorrow, and you will surely let go of things today. Because some people think they can live for decades, and money becomes a problem, houses become a problem, all of these become problems. Divorcing to divide family property, dividing family property becomes a problem; dad died to divide the inheritance, dividing inheritance becomes a problem. Of course, divide what should be divided, there is no need to be polite, but that is not our pursuit.
What can a person do after death? Do we have a fresh perspective on death today? My mother is sick, and many people find it strange that I didn't send her to the hospital. Because sending her to the hospital would cause suffering, while staying with me, she wouldn't suffer, because I have God's presence, and God is the greatest physician. But people don't understand. If you want to send her to the hospital, go ahead. If you want to spend money, spend it. If you want the elderly to suffer, then let them suffer. Later, I asked my mother, Who do you want to be with? My mother smiled and said, Definitely with you. Of course, it's better with me.
So, if you are a Christian who fears death, you're finished! You will definitely not enter the Promised Land, just like those Israelites who died in the wilderness, because they are not worthy of God's presence. God was with them because of Moses. I am very moved. Many people want to live. It's truly remarkable. Many people's understanding of death seems different from Jacob's. His approach seems to attract the spirit of death, while ours attracts God's presence. What is most important? The most important thing is that God's people can enter the Promised Land; the most important thing is that we see God's people being raised up like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. But the reality is somewhat disappointing.
VI. Be Like Ephraim and Manasseh
Be like Ephraim and Manasseh. Do you know what this means? Not like Jeroboam, for Jeroboam was an Ephraimite. Recently, I mentioned Jeroboam as I previously mentioned Peter. Why should you be like Ephraim and Manasseh? Because the name Ephraim means God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering, and Manasseh means God has made me forget my hardship. Why can we endure suffering? Why can we endure being wronged? Why can we endure betrayal? Why can we endure being abandoned, cast aside like a worn-out shoe? Those who received grace from us, were healed through prayer, and then said goodbye. But we can endure these things. Our hearts will not be pierced with a thousand holes, like a sieve. Our hearts are so strong because we are not pursuing earthly things.
Be like Ephraim and Manasseh, because Ephraim and Manasseh are the names Joseph gave, describing Joseph's life! Ephraim and Manasseh were the children Joseph had when he was Prime Minister. He named them Ephraim and Manasseh to remember God's work in his life. Can we remember God’s work in our lives today? I want to declare today: you will surely be like Ephraim, fruitful in the land of your suffering. You have experienced these sufferings, dealt with the flesh, and truly verified the faith within you. You will surely be fruitful in the land of your suffering!
So I often say, brothers and sisters, start to desire, desire to see God's promise fulfilled. The path before you is a path of prosperity! If not a Prime Minister, then a high-ranking official; if not a high-ranking official, then at least a wealthy person. Prosper! You will surely prosper. Living a withered life is definitely not God's work. Even in a withered life, you can still see God's presence. Before Ephraim and Manasseh, Joseph went through thirteen years, ten years as a slave and three years as a prisoner. Was he prosperous? He was the most prosperous slave among slaves, the most prosperous prisoner among prisoners! It's amazing, because God was with him. Do you realize how precious God's presence is? God's presence is so precious! Messing around only brings demons. If demons come, where is Ephraim? Where is Manasseh? I am very moved.
Be like Ephraim and Manasseh. So, when old Jacob blessed his two sons, Joseph said, Father, it's not like that. Because in ancient times, the right was honored, but old Jacob put his right hand on Ephraim's head and his left hand on Manasseh's head. Joseph saw that it was not right and switched the positions of the two children. But Jacob crossed his hands again, still placing his right hand on Ephraim's head. We find this amazing. Why didn't Joseph understand? It turns out that his father liked to treat the younger son as the elder son; that's what his father did.
Later, we understood that Ephraim being fruitful in the land of suffering is greater than forgetting my hardship. God's intention is to make you a person who is fruitful in the land of suffering. Suffering a little is okay. So today, I am thinking, ah! Today, our prosperity is because we were once fruitful in the land of suffering. The tears we shed in the past were not shed in vain, and the blood shed in our hearts was not shed in vain, because we see these sufferings as grace. It's normal for God to let us suffer a little. Joseph was sold to Egypt as a slave; that's no joke. Walking all the way there, his feet were blistered. His hands were tied to the tail of a camel with a rope. When the camel walked, he had to walk; when the camel stopped, he had to stop. He had no water to drink when he was thirsty, and no food to eat when he was hungry, all the way to Egypt, hundreds of kilometers. I am very moved that such people are remarkable!
So, brothers and sisters, if you have suffered a little, it may be suffering for your curse or suffering because destiny. It doesn't matter. Start believing today that God makes us fruitful in the land of our suffering. Amazing! This is why Ephraim is made great. God will surely be with us. But later history proves that Ephraim fell, and Manasseh also fell. The entire nation of Israel was left with only the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin, just like Israel today. Where did they all go? It's not because your name is Ephraim that you are great. Brothers and sisters, you need to know for sure that it's not because your name is Joy that you are joyful, or your name is Victory that you are victorious. I have never seen a name being useful. If a name were useful, that would be great.
I once knew a pastor who was prayed for by a great pastor, who said, From now on, your name is Joseph. I knew him; he was nothing like Joseph. From the bottom of his heart, I didn't see even half of Joseph. Later, someone prayed for him and said, Now your name is David. Then another person prayed for him and said, From now on, your name is Abraham. Can that bring God's presence? It's nonsense! Even if you hang a cross around your neck or burn a cross on your chest with a branding iron, it's useless. The Bible says this is interesting. What is useful? True victory is being fruitful in the land of suffering, persevering in the path of faith in the land of suffering. God will resolve your pain, and God will make you prosper!
Joseph eventually became a Prime Minister. It turns out that his thirteen years in Egypt were like earning a doctorate. He went to Egypt at the age of seventeen to study high school and university. He spent three years in prison writing a doctoral dissertation: how to be a Prime Minister. Enduring being wronged, enduring being trained, that is the path to prosperity. When I am pastoring, sometimes I feel very tired. I haven't done anything yet, and I get judged with the knowledge of good and evil. Then I have to bring up Joseph and Ephraim, which is sometimes useful. I really hope that brothers and sisters have the character of Joseph. Do you have faith in God? What did Joseph do? He did nothing and was sold to Egypt. Was it truly unfair? I haven't really wronged you yet, and you feel wronged. If I really wronged you, what would you do? You would surely talk nonsense.
VII. God will surely be with you
Today, let's examine ourselves, brothers and sisters. Do we have God's presence? What is deep down in our hearts? God's presence leads to success in everything, not chaos. With God's presence, you will be like Joseph. What is inside us? Do we love the world or love God? If we love God, can we dedicate time to Him? Let's examine ourselves carefully. How much of God's presence do we have? Some people say, Teacher, I love money again recently. Don't love money anymore. How far will your love of money go? Sometimes you can't defecate or urinate. I tell you, not being able to defecate can kill you and make you like excrement. My words are a bit strong, but I truly hope that God will be with you.
God will surely be with you. This is God's will, but where is your will? Are you one of the Israelites who died in the wilderness, afraid of giants, good at opposing Moses, but losing courage when facing the giants of the Promised Land? See if you are such a person. Shouting slogans is useless. What is deep down inside us? God wants to be with us. Do we need God's presence? Do we regard God's presence as the highest goal in our lives? To build God's glorious church.
God will surely be with you! This is a declaration from God, but don't think that God will surely be with us without considering whether you are worthy of God's presence. Moses was worthy of God's presence, Joseph was worthy of God's presence, and Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were worthy of God's presence. What about you? Speaking to those Israelites who died in the wilderness, they became vessels of God's wrath. Was God's presence, God's promise, abandoned? No, it was people who abandoned God's promise. If you carefully keep and obey God's words, God will surely bless you; if you do not keep and obey God's words, curses will surely come upon you!
Today, let's examine whether we are blessed or cursed. If you are cursed, quickly run to the group of people who are blessed. Don't think that you have served God a few times or served a few brothers and sisters and feel great. That's useless. Even the seventy elders appointed by Moses died in the wilderness. They were seventy fools who liked to make golden calves. On the path of making golden calves, how much do you know about golden calves today? They called the golden calf the Lord God who led them out of Egypt. How confusing is that! Later, Jeroboam made another one. Are you a Jeroboam or a David?
Today, I hope that brothers and sisters can wake up. I speak a bit strongly. Don't die in the wilderness, and don't continue to rush towards the path of destruction. That is quite detestable! In fact, brothers and sisters, do you know that when I kick people out of the church, it's not really kicking them out of the church. It's to let people wake up. Those who are willing to walk this path with us should walk well with us. Those who are not willing to walk this path with us can go as far away as they want! If you want to come among us to receive grace, I will give you grace. After you receive it, you can go as far away as you want.
Many people will criticize me for saying these words, but I don't care. What am I supposed to care about? There were many people who criticized Moses. How many people wanted to rebel against Moses on the way in the wilderness? That's normal. But do we have a will today, a desire for God's presence? God has promised us that He will surely be with us, but do we cherish this presence? Brothers and sisters, wake up! Doing business is very important, but if you can't even keep the Lord's Day, you are useless! God is too lazy to be with these people. Can you change today? You must wake up and not lose God's presence. Don't walk the path of Jeroboam, don't walk the path of the golden calf, and don't continue to rush towards the path of destruction.
God's promise will never be abandoned, but God's promise is for people like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Our God is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, and definitely not the God of Cain. How many people in this generation are rushing towards the path of Cain? How many people are rushing towards the path of the golden calf of Jeroboam? Is there religious flavor? Yes, but it is not the true God. If you can't even consecrate your time, what else can you do? Today, I am speaking earnestly. I usually give people grace again and again. I give enough grace. I imitate God, just as God gave grace to the Israelites again and again, yet they still chose to die in the wilderness.
Have we seen many miracles among us? Have we seen enough miracles? Have we experienced God enough? After experiencing God and being healed, you go back to loving the world and pursuing the golden calf, right? How is it possible to enter the Promised Land? God's promise will never be abandoned, but it is abandoned in some people. When Paul faced the church in Rome and their questions, why were the Israelites like this? Was God's promise abandoned? God's promise will never be abandoned; they abandoned God's promise in their lives. If you ask me, I will never let God's promise be abandoned in my life. Even if I die, I will hold on to God's promise. I will surely enter the Promised Land! Even if there are giants inside, I will imitate Joshua and Caleb. What if there are real swords and real guns? Because death is no longer a concern for me.
VIII. God will surely lead us into the Promised Land
Today, ask yourself, who can enter the Promised Land? There are giants inside! Have you seen American heavyweight boxing? The champion's punch is like a hammer. It's scary. People with God's presence, God will surely lead you into the Promised Land! People with faith, those who look to God, have no fear, no longer fear. Why do people fear? Why do people worry? Why are there so many problems and so many illnesses? It's because they care about trivial matters in this world. They treat these trivial matters as major events, but only God's presence is not a major event. I hope that brothers and sisters can enter the Promised Land with me, until one day, we, these people with character, stand before our glorious Lord, receive His glorious praise, and obtain the crown of glory He has prepared for us. This is my lifelong pursuit!
This world will pass away. Restore the faith inside you, trust in God, and receive Mingding Destiny! Start desiring God. God wants to lead me into the Promised Land. Don't abandon God's promise. Just as Paul responded to the Romans: it’s not God's promise that has been abandoned, it’s because these people are simply not Israelites. The true Israelites are people like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I am going to die, but God will surely be with you! God has been with me my whole life. Today, I am going back to God, but God will surely be with you. God's promise will never be abandoned!
Once, I earnestly told a pastor: we need to build a victorious church! God's promise will never be abandoned. The greatest problem with the church today is that it is not in the Promised Land; it is all in the wilderness. He said, That's impossible! This makes me very sad, because I want them to receive the grace as well In man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible! Do not build your faith on your ability anymore; do not build your faith on the golden calf anymore; and do not build your faith on the logic system of this world. Your faith should be built on God. Look to God! Even if you don't have a job, God will create a job for you. Brothers and sisters who are looking for a job, start turning back to God, no longer looking to money, no longer relying on the golden calf, and start relying on God. God will surely create one for you.
Looking to God is God's promise. God's promise will never be abandoned, and God's word is established in heaven! Even if this heaven and earth pass away, and all things on earth pass away, God's word will not pass away one bit. God's promise is established in heaven! Today, the path we have walked is a path written in tears. Every struggle inside us is a battle between the logic system of the world and the logic system of God. Later, I chose to trust God and walked to today. I truly thank my God. God is so good. It is so good to have God! Can we put God in the first place in our lives? Imitate Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, see through all these matters of life and death, and always look to Him. If you enter the Promised Land, if you are Joseph, you will receive an extra portion of inheritance. Prosperity plus prosperity. If you are Joseph, you cannot not prosper. The tribe of Joseph will receive an extra portion of inheritance, because the two tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh, receive two portions of inheritance.
IX. Joseph to receive a double portion
Joseph to receive a double portion, therefore in the Promised Land, there are those who receive one portion, and there are those who receive two portions. Indeed, God has made it clear who gets what, assigning grades from A to D. Which step would you place yourself on? If you were to ask me, I yearn to receive an extra portion, or even two or three shares. The more of God's promises and inheritances, the better, I'm not shy about it! If I receive much, it must mean that others who receive and contribute less, but that has nothing to do with me. The path that I run seems like Joseph's path, because I am modeling myself after and drawing inspiration from the forefathers like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Josephs; their experience seem to come alive in my mind. I believe that there are crowns of glory reserved for me in heaven, I believe that God will send me to manage ten cities, five cities, or perhaps just one city, up to a first-tier city.
In heaven, on earth, loving nothing, loving God alone, what a great choice that is. I know that there must be many amongst us, brothers and sisters, also having such dedication like I do, that you will get more inheritance in the Promised Land, no fear, only boldness, there is only trust in God, do you hear? God has commanded us, to be strong and bold, put down our earthly entanglements, since we have earthly entanglements, it's okay, that is the results of how you managed the world, we can also put it down by relying on the word, to run this heavenly road. Those who don't sincerely trust in God, I can escort you to the front-door of the church, without the promise, nor enter the promised land, let alone mention receiving a double-portion like Joseph did as instructed. If you choose to say goodbye now, so be it.
X. Conclusion
Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and take you back to the land of your fathers. And to you I am giving a portion more than to your brothers, the mountain slope I took from the Amorites with my sword and bow.” (Genesis 48:21-22)
What a wonderful declaration that these words of Jacob may be engraved upon our Hearts, this may have Jacob's life, the path trodden trodden by Joseph, may become the role-model for us, not to wander in the wilderness, that would not be a righteous choice. Moses wrote this passage, laid a foundation for us to be emboldened to leave Egypt enter the promised Land, not traverse to the wilderness, what an awakening truth.
Those with the same dedication as I do, let us sing hymns that will prepare us to receive today's offerings, should you not aware of the significance of giving, then you should not contribute. Every head from each pastoral neighborhood to please filter those who now have dedicated may often place God to be the side, they should not contribute those sacrifices, that is not the place receive offerings, that is a place to enter the promising land. Let us sing the hymns entitled “Model the people God are pleased with” by the Chinese Mingding Destiny music. Those who are after God's heart, wholeheartedly love God, do not pursue worldly comfort, dedicate everything to building the temple. Love the world and will be perished, no fear of environment and enemies, repeatedly victorious in battle. Model those after God’s heart, dare to venture for the sake of God's kingdom, dare to offer our lives to God, dare to consecrate their time, put down all the entanglements of this life, a lifetime fulfill the task entrusted to God, Amen!
Everybody put up their hands to pray: oh God, please let may be a vessel which Ye deemed fit, oh God, today I desire to emulate Jacob, Isaac and Abraham to long for your presence. Make me vessel that Ye are pleased with, and that the path that I traverse may not be a waste, to emulate the men you have ordained, emulate those who have true intentions and true faith, to look forward to the word to be spoken from your mouth that is the ultimate truth. Because you will ultimately prevail in our world, in our lives, in our world, we no longer should have fear, instead boldly carry the burden to become that type of man that the world is not worth for that you may not. You lead us, you walk with is, you will surely lead us into the promising world. Oh God, we entrust to you, we believe if in thee, and the promise that you have in store for us is never fail. In the name of Jesus, we asked this Amen!
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil for the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen!
May God bless all of you!
