Introduction
Today, I would like to share with you one of my favourite topics: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. I used to go to work and come back home alone, year after year, not knowing when it would end. One day, one of our sisters told me that she was quitting her job to serve God. Then, a brother said he was quitting his job to serve God. After a while, brothers and sisters resigned from their jobs to serve God one after another. They truly made an incomparably good choice, but I felt a lot of pressure.
I calculated that although the church could only pay salaries for a few months at that time, I made a very smart choice! I not only did not reduce their salaries, but increased them by another 10%. Because we made the best choice, God is faithful, and God did wonderful things among us. God provided for us. It turns out that God is the God who meets our needs. In my heart, I wanted to believe in Jesus, so I implemented the words of the Bible. I wanted to be a Christian, so I became the best Christian. I wanted to be a blessed person, so I chose the best blessing. The brothers and sisters who chose to serve God with me also made the best choice.
Last Sunday, I talked about The Wisdom of Choice. The greatest wisdom is to choose to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Some people say, who can do it? So the Sunday before last, I said this way is not difficult to walk; it is in your heart and in your mouth. Why is it so difficult? Because we don't have the wisdom and don't know what the best choice in this world is. So our blessings slip through our fingers. Isn't this very silly? Is it so difficult to choose to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength? What can compare with our God?
Once, when I was on a plane, I happened to meet a pastor I knew, and he was sitting next to me. He said that he had given up being a pastor because it was a bitter job. I was very saddened to hear this. How could he regard such a blessing as a bitter job? If God heard such words, how deep a curse should this person receive! I said, God, have mercy on him! Speaking of loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength, I am very emotional. There is such a good choice and blessing in this world!
Is there any obstacle to such a choice? Yes, bigger than any obstacle. Sometimes it is a choice made with tears. Because God is my life, He is my everything, He is my core interest. I can have nothing, but I cannot live without God. So I deeply love my God. I put all my emotions into God, and I see how faithful God is!
Brothers and sisters, every time you face a choice, it is a test and a struggle. This is not an easy choice; it is indeed difficult. But every choice sees God's abundant grace. Every choice demolishes the old logical system inside and rebuilds a new one. Our God is so faithful! Haven't you heard enough testimonies among us? Haven't you experienced enough?
Brothers and sisters, start to imitate me and make a smart choice in your life, which is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Every time I sing I Deeply Love You, I want to touch your heartstrings. I cry as I sing. I really thank God that my emotions are tightly connected with God. Because of my love for God, I serve with all my heart, soul, and strength.
Brothers and sisters, today I can boast of how much I love God! Among all the pastors, not many do better in healing and deliverance than me, and not many write more books than me. Over the past few years, how wholeheartedly I have served every brother and sister who has come among us! Those whom I have directly served can testify for me. When I see the brothers and sisters among us in bondage, and when I see those huge pastoral needs, how anxious I am! I deeply desire those brothers and sisters who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength to rise up to serve this generation and build God's glorious church with me.
Is everyone willing to rise up today? Are you willing to do your best? If everyone is willing, tell God in your heart that you are willing, then you will have made the best choice, just like me. Because we love the Lord with all our heart and strength, our service is enjoyable, beautiful, with God, and has great effect. Although there are tears and sweat, there is enjoyment in my heart. What could be better than working with God?
I don’t know how to live without God anymore. Without God, what would I do? There would be no meaning to life. We really must understand that if you are not someone who loves the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your might, I really cannot understand. If you have experienced God's miraculous deeds, how can you still make foolish choices? You may have experienced even more and greater things than me. All I experienced back then was God giving me a job.
In fact, those who serve God with me have experienced no more than that; they are not earth-shattering events. But they have all begun to learn to love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength. At night, when I contacted the brothers and sisters among us, one line was busy, and another line was busy. It turned out they were all serving. I am very grateful to have such a group of brothers and sisters building a glorious church with me.
Some of us who cannot love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength will say, Take your time. When you have a disease in your body, do you want to say, Take your time? When you live in collapse and pain, do you want to say, Take your time? Or you find a lot of excuses: family, children, husband, work. In the past few years, you haven't loved the Lord our God with all your heart, soul, and strength, and you lived so miserably. Isn't that a proof that it's not the way to go? How can you go back to the path of collapse?
I hope my words today can sting you, encourage you, and let you stand up again, wake up again, and start learning to love the Lord our God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Once, when I went out to preach, the topic I shared was Love the Lord our God with all your heart, soul, and strength. During the sharing process, I gave many examples, and the people below felt very uncomfortable because many of the people present were their church members. They thought I was bragging; actually, I wasn't. I really serve with all my heart and strength.
At that time, the pastors below gestured to me to stop talking. I am just encouraging everyone to serve God wholeheartedly, love God's sheep, shepherd them, and release them from the bondage of the devil. This generation desperately needs pastors who love God and desperately needs a belief system that loves God wholeheartedly! This is precisely the belief system of our Chinese Mingding Destiny. We don’t just receive grace and then that’s it; we receive grace and offer ourselves up. Since we know our God, we should do everything in our power to love Him. Because this is the command of the Bible, this way is not difficult to walk, and when you do this, you will see how God is with you.
May God raise up a large number of people among us today who love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength, so that they can serve this generation, be a blessing to this generation, meet the pastoral needs of this generation, and become good and blessed shepherds in the presence of our God. One day, we will all come before God and receive His glorious crown. Even if we shed blood, sweat, and tears in this world, we will receive great satisfaction!
Scripture
“When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations, and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today, then the LORD your God will have compassion on you and restore you from captivity. He will gather you together again from all the nations where he has scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and bring you back. He will bring you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors. The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. (Deuteronomy 30:1-6 NIV)
Prayer
Lord, work in our hearts today and encourage every brother and sister among us, so that we can see clearly this era and see clearly how your blessings and curses come upon this era. Lord, give us a wise heart, so that we can receive your words and know that after experiencing curses, as long as we turn back to you, you will surely lead us back and re-enter your blessing. Lord, let us make a wise choice in our hearts today. Let us love you with all our heart, soul, and strength. Lord, we want to love you, we learn to love you, and we offer everything up, dedicating everything to you, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
When a Curse Comes Upon You
When a curse comes upon us, even a fool can know. In fact, nothing speaks more powerfully than the truth. If we have experienced a lot of things and we still don't know that it is a curse, then there is trouble.
One day, someone walked into my office and said something that made me laugh to death. He said, I will not do tithing, but I will dedicate my life to God. I said, What kind of words are these? If you can't even tithe, how can you dedicate your life to God? I said, If God wants your life, will you give it? He said, No, I won't. Then what are you dedicating your life to God for? How do you dedicate it? It's very strange.
There was also a sister who had been a Christian for many years. She told me many tragic stories about her experiences. It was simply a tragedy! Why? She was engaged in investment and financial management, but she encountered a lawsuit. She managed tens of millions of dollars of wealth for a distant relative. Because she did not follow the proper procedures, she was sued in court. Even that little loss was borne by her. She was just an employee; she didn't have the ability to bear that. She was almost penniless. I said, You are living under a curse. She got angry at that time. She said, I am not living under a curse. I said, You are indeed living under a curse. She said, I am not living under a curse. How can I serve such a person? It is very difficult for me to serve her.
In fact, some of the things that our brothers and sisters are experiencing today were foretold by Moses in Deuteronomy. If you do not love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength, don't blame me for not telling you. The Bible says it. I have repeated it over and over again: curses will come upon you, and the things you experience are clear evidence that you are living under a curse. Today’s Christians are a clear illustration of what Moses foretold. What Moses foretold was that when the Israelites were rich, they would not serve the LORD our God with joy and gladness of heart, but would serve their enemies, whom the LORD would send against them, in thirst and lack. He will put an iron yoke on their necks until they are destroyed. Brothers and sisters, do you know where these biblical curses are recorded? In Deuteronomy 28:15-68:
“However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you: You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country. Your basket and your kneading trough will be cursed. The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. You will be cursed when you come in and cursed when you go out. The LORD will send on you cursing, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him. The LORD will plague you with diseases until he has destroyed you from the land you are entering to possess. The LORD will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish. (Deuteronomy 28:15-22 NIV)
These curses will follow you. Wherever you go, they will follow you. There are too many curses, as the scripture says:
They will besiege all the cities throughout your land until the high fortified walls in which you trust collapse. They will besiege all the cities throughout the land the LORD your God is giving you. Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you. Even the most gentle and sensitive man among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating. It will be all he has left because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege of all your cities. The most gentle and sensitive woman among you—so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot—will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter the afterbirth from her womb and the children she bears. For in her extreme need she will secretly eat them during the siege of all your cities. (Deuteronomy 28:52-57 NIV)
So today I warn everyone and remind everyone that choosing to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength is the best wise choice. If you do not choose to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength, you will suffer enough from these curses. Don't think that I am fine today and I will still be fine tomorrow. When a curse comes upon you, you will call to heaven but heaven will not respond, you will call to earth but earth will not respond. Don't think that nothing will happen.
Observe carefully today. If someone loves his wife more than he loves God, try it. If someone loves his car and house more than he loves God, try it. If someone loves money more than he loves God, try it. Curses will definitely ferment on you. What if you love work more than you love God? That is not called loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Today, we see a lot of Christians who do not serve God with joy and gladness of heart. Brothers and sisters must know that there is only one explanation for the disasters that Christians face, and that is God's judgment.
In fact, God's requirement to love Him with all your heart, soul, and strength is not because God lacks love, but because if we do not love Him with all our heart, soul, and strength, the devil will surely snatch us away. We need to regard God as our life because He is our life. What is life? It is our God and us being connected together, so we obtain life. This is not a difficult choice.
When a curse comes upon us, we must know that we made the wrong choice. If the Christian life of the past so many years has led you into a state of curse, what should you do? When a curse comes upon you, we need to know that we did not love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength in our hearts.
Know in Your Heart That You Did Not Love the Lord Your God With All Your Heart, Soul, and Strength in the Past
Knowing that loving God with all your heart, soul, and strength is just a general requirement is actually a smart choice. Don't use the filthiness in your head to judge. Who can make such a choice? If you know that making such a choice is very worthwhile and everything you do with your hands, everything your body produces, and everything your livestock produce will be blessed, would you live like this today? If you live under a curse today and still continue to walk the old path of not loving the Lord, what kind of path will it be in the future? Do you have to let yourself be completely destroyed before you are willing to give up?
Don't be self-righteous! Don't think you are Job when you encounter a curse. In fact, you are not Job. Think that you love God very much and you are still busy and take the time to gather together. I am already very busy, my work is so busy, and then I still take time to attend gatherings. People who say this think that this is called loving God, but is this loving God? We don't think so.
Among us, especially my co-workers, no matter what the situation, wind or rain, or this or that, they take the time out to serve God. It is not working until they have no time for other things, and then squeeze out so little time. No! Work is their side business, and serving God is their main business. Don't we see that they are very prosperous at work? Aren’t they very pleasing to their bosses at work? Unlike these cursed people, no matter how they do things, they can't do it!
Don't be self-righteous. Don't think you are Job. Don't think you are loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. In fact, you are deceived by the filthiness installed in your heart. Whether or not you are loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength can be known with a little examination. Just move your core interests, what will you do? Some people collapse for the sake of work, but I rarely see him collapsed because of service. Service is a part-time activity for him, and his work is his main business. I have a hard time understanding what kind of mentality this is. Why does work always make him collapse? Because he takes his work too seriously!
Brothers and sisters, if you love money more than you love God, your money will definitely be cursed. If you love your work more than you love God, that is not called loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Knowing in your heart that you did not love God with all your heart, soul, and strength is very important. All the sufferings you endure that are not for God are curses.
The people we serve come to us every day with illnesses and we pray for them. Know that this is in the curse! In the past, believing in the Lord was just a religious act, and it was really not about loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Do you know what your core interest is? If your core interest is not our God, you really have to think it over. Don't forget after the disease gets a little better.
Whether it's intellectuals, farmers, or housewives, I've encountered so many such things, they just don't know how to make a smart choice. They keep coming every day with diseases, get a little better, and go back to the old way, and forget it again. They invite the disease back again and then seek us to pray for them. The disease is healed by prayer and they go back to the old way. I can give you many such examples. People must know that they do what they do, and they receive what they receive.
Once a person is cursed, he must know that he made the wrong choice in the past. But you must make the right choice today and not keep making wrong choices. If the Israelites offend God again and again, they may no longer have the opportunity to repent. Read the Old Testament carefully. The Israelites abused God's grace again and again. They were cursed once, turned back to God, and God gave them grace. After returning to the old ways, they lived under curses again, began to feel uncomfortable again, and began to seek God again, turned back to God, and God gave them grace again and then they walk the old ways. What kind of foolishness can compare with such foolishness? There really isn’t any.
Remember the Words of Blessing
Many people do not believe in the words of blessing. That is why they walk their own path and go into a curse. Don't you need to wake up? So remember the words of blessing. God has abundant grace. As long as we turn back to God, God will turn back to us. This is God's promise. But we cannot live in such foolishness over and over again. We turn back to God, and God turns back to us. When we live in grace, we go back to the old ways, and we immediately put God down when we see an environment or challenge.
If there are such foolish people among us today, whether they are willing to repent depends on their creation. You have to learn to read the words of blessing. The words of blessing are so good. Isn't this what you want? How can you not walk such a path?
“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.” (Deuteronomy 28:1-5 NIV)
Keep reading these words:
The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods to serve them. (Deuteronomy 28:6-14 NIV)
You read it carefully, isn't this what we want? Therefore, when we turn back to God in a state of being cursed and in a state of suffering, we must recall the words of blessing.
But why do we make wrong choices? Why don't we love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength? Loving the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength is the answer! If a person no longer recalls the words of blessing, it means they haven't suffered enough for their sins and must continue to endure them. If the pain of cancer hasn't been sufficient, then continue to suffer; if the pain of joint problems hasn't been sufficient, then continue to endure joint pain; if the pain from various illnesses hasn't been sufficient, then continue to suffer.
If you have suffered enough, change your thinking, begin to learn to know God, and recall the words of blessing. Aren't we, the brothers and sisters who choose to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength, a good testimony to you? Haven't you seen with your own eyes that everything we do prospers? If I were to give testimonies, I couldn't finish them every Sunday. Those testimonies are not because of what they did, but because of our service! If our service brings them such grace, what grace should we ourselves receive? **Loving God with all our heart, soul, and strength, and serving our God is the answer to all problems.** Therefore, brothers and sisters, begin to recall the words of blessing, and imitate those who live in blessing. You must know that loving the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength is the answer!
## Turn to the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, and Strength
Today, brothers and sisters, let us begin to learn to turn to the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength! Some of us have received many graces from God. Once, someone had a venereal disease, and I prayed for him, and he was healed. He had a nail in his foot, and I prayed for him, and it was healed. He had depression, and I prayed, and his depression was healed. His grandmother had a cerebral haemorrhage, and I prayed with his grandmother, and her condition improved a lot. Later, his family engaged in idolatry, which caused his grandmother's condition to relapse. His mother had high blood pressure, and I prayed with his mother, and her high blood pressure was healed. In fact, serving him was the most difficult time of my life. At that time, I was surrounded by enemies in the workplace and faced great difficulties. But I put aside all my work to serve him because he wanted to jump off a building and was on the verge of death.
I rescued him from the hands of the devil and then served him step by step, including helping him write his resume and find a job. I served him with all my heart and strength in everything. One day, after Sunday service, I was exhausted, so I went to eat and drink something. Then he came to me and asked me to pray for his grandmother, who was in the hospital with a cerebral haemorrhage and was about to die. I was really exhausted and about to collapse. My heart was pounding very hard, and I was in great pain. I put down my things, went back to the office, and prayed with him and his grandmother. His grandmother miraculously recovered, which was a great grace!
Later, for his growth, I encouraged him to learn to do shepherding. But he said, What? If I don't shepherd like you, I can't stay in this church? How could those words be so unpleasant? I said, You have reached the stage where you cannot grow without serving. When I served you back then, I also got up early and stayed up late to serve you! How can you go to bed at 10:30 when it's your turn to serve others? Which of us doesn't go to bed after serving? He said, That's not possible! I can't be like you! What happened then? He began to look for other churches, finding one that catered to the flesh. Was that really worth it? **When a person receives God's grace and then is unwilling to turn to the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength, they will be cursed!** This brother lived a miserable life for several years!
Some time ago, I fiercely scolded one of our sisters. I said, You are like that person! I hope she can hear it. You need to know what it means to turn to the Lord our God with all your heart, soul, and strength! This sister puts a lot of emphasis on her children's studies and takes serving very lightly. If she is unwilling to put effort into serving her own family, how can she put effort into serving others? She is just afraid of delaying her work. She thinks it is natural to be afraid of delaying her work. In fact, we spent a lot of effort serving her because demons were running around in her, tormenting her for a long time, often serving her until two or three in the morning. When it's her turn to serve, she can't do this or that. I'm wondering, what is she thinking? Will God treat us unfairly if we turn to our God with all our heart, soul, and strength?
Since our God can save us from the hands of the devil, can't God help us and bless us in our work? If you carefully read Deuteronomy 28:1-14, what conclusion will you come to? What does it mean to do something with all your heart, soul, and strength? **Doing something with all your heart, soul, and strength is the most important thing in a person's life. Everything else can be put down, but serving God must never be put down!** If a person listens to God and trusts in God, what does work matter? What does the boss matter? Why are you so afraid of your boss?
One of our sisters is quite interesting. Once, she felt dizzy and asked her pastor to pray for her. Halfway through the prayer, her boss asked her to go back to work, so she went back. Later, when asked why she was no longer dizzy, she said that as soon as her boss called her, she was no longer dizzy. It turned out that the boss was her core interest, and work was her core interest! Sometimes, I am really afraid that you will fall when I say such things. Some brothers and sisters tremble whenever the boss speaks. They never tremble when I speak, and they don't tremble when God speaks. I am very touched by that, but is work that busy? If you squeeze out a little time to serve God, don't you feel like you are living under a curse? Is working so hard a blessing? Absolutely not!
**If we turn to the Lord our God, we must be people who walk with God!** If we value work so much, it is actually because of the money from work. Can't God help us with the money from work? We have all experienced God. If God can do such great things in us, what does money matter? So today, brothers and sisters, we must know that we must learn to turn to the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and strength, and recall the words of blessing!
## Remove the Impurities from Our Hearts
Why do people choose not to love the Lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength? **The root cause lies in the many impurities in their hearts. Impurities refer to dirty logical systems!** If we have dirty logical systems inside, our perspective on things will be distorted, and it will not be the truth! And we still think that what we say is very correct.
For example, one sister said that she had three children and thought that we could not understand her. Do you not need God just because you have three children? Aren't you living in a state of collapse because of these three children? Didn't God save you from the brink of collapse? Why are you going back? How can you not hear such a simple truth? You just like to obey the impurities in your heart. Removing the impurities in people's hearts is God's way of working through curses. If a curse comes and people are unwilling to remove the impurities in their hearts, it is called stubbornness! You need to know that shepherding people with impurities in their hearts is quite difficult. It is also very difficult for us to remove the impurities in people's hearts.
A few days ago, I was shepherding a sister who had a lot of impurities in her heart. She was very argumentative, trying her best to find reasons for herself. As a result, her feet were ice-cold, as if she were standing in an ice cave, with stinging pain. Even putting her feet on an electric blanket did not solve the problem. She was in great pain. No matter how I led her to pray, it didn't work. Her heart was full of impurities, and she was unwilling to change. What could I solve by leading her to pray? The ice-cold feet were caused by a demon. Where did the demon come from? The demon was sent by God! It's not that the demon can come whenever it wants to. The demon was sent by God because she had a lot of impurities inside. Although she had believed in the Lord for a long time, she was unwilling to remove the impurities in her heart and was very stubborn.
Why are people so foolish? At that time, I was very angry and gave her a good scolding. Halfway through the scolding, she laughed and said, My feet are fine. I said, So you need to be disciplined. If a person is filled with impurities, we may not know it, but the results they live out can prove that they are impure! If there are diseases and curses manifested in us, it must be because there are impurities in us.
After a while, I served this sister again. She often saw spiritual things, and I knew those were fox spirits. One day, the words she said were completely different from what she wanted to say. Her mouth was controlled by an evil spirit. She said she saw a big spider on someone's body, and then she said she saw something enter her eyes, and her eyes were very painful. When I led her to pray, it was very difficult. As a result, I scolded her again. Why? It was because everything she saw was distorted. From childhood to adulthood, the memories in her mind were different stories, completely disconnected from the things in her life, and she was deceived by the fox spirits. Later, I scolded her again, and her eyes were healed.
I was wondering about the impurities in people's minds, which are quite difficult to deal with. There is another sister among us who has received great grace from God. God blessed her with a job, and her salary was 2.5 times higher than before. She should be happy! But she was still upset and tangled, so she asked her pastor to scold her severely to remove the impurities in her heart and her self-righteousness.
If a person has impurities in their heart and is self-righteous, it is very difficult to deal with. For this type of person, scolding them to remove the impurities in their heart is the best blessing for them, and this is called shepherding. In fact, doing such things is very hard work, and no one likes to yell at people. But if the impurities in people's hearts are not removed, they will ruin their lives because what is inside is ignorance and foolishness, coupled with self-righteousness!
Such things can be applied to many occasions. If we are pastors and do not want to remove the impurities in people's hearts, aren't we ruining them? Then that is not called shepherding God's flock with all your heart, soul, and strength. We must strive to remove the impurities in our hearts, be gentle and humble, and look back at what we have experienced. Have we made any mistakes? Don't be so stubborn and self-righteous, and don't play fake games. Learn to love God more every day and move forward every day.
Some people like to sing songs, shed tears, and express their feelings, thinking that is loving God, but it is not. If you want to love God, you must shepherd God's flock. If your own heart is full of impurities, how can you shepherd God's flock? Today, let us begin to remove our chaotic beliefs, no longer just singing songs, expressing feelings, or playing the guitar. These things are not of great use and are not considered very important in the Bible. Remove our chaotic beliefs and shepherd God's flock. If there are impurities of ignorance and foolishness in the sheep, we must work with God to see the work that God is doing in them. When they need to be released, we should remove the impurities in them.
If a disease does not get better even after prayer, what they need most is to remove the impurities inside. In our shepherding system, we call this dealing with the flesh and the logical systems that belong to the world.
## So That You May Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart, Soul, and Strength
Today, my sermon, from point 4 to point 9, consists of verses 1 to 6 of Deuteronomy 30. Let's talk about point 9 – so that you may love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength. On this point, I will talk about two things: first, what is love? Second, what does it mean to do something with all your heart, soul, and strength? The misconception of love is very common. One day, I was pastoring someone who was quite tall and handsome. He was dating a girl who came to him for his appearance. Everything was fine online, and later he bought a plane ticket and the two sat together. The boy said to the girl: I have lacked love since I was a child, I need you to love me, I need you to give me love.
Then the girl said, I have also lacked love since I was a child, and I need you to give me love. Neither of them had love, and both of them had a love deficiency. Their myth of love is that if I am dating you, you should love me. Why do you want to date me? Because I lack love, you come here to love me, not for me to love you, I need you to love me, can this love work? This love won't work, it is two selfish people, both in it for their own gain, then sitting together, is that not like dealing with a tiger for its skin? Therefore, this myth of love is quite common, and we think that love is receiving.
For example: “The relationship of two people dating or getting married is a very strange relationship.” Think about it, why do many marriages have problems, it is because the woman thinks that the man belongs to her, and the man thinks that the woman belongs to him. It is all based on the desire to possess the other party. Is marriage like that?
In reality, love is giving, and it is not about receiving something from the other or taking possession of them. **Love is that I love God, I give myself to God, I give all my things to God, this is called loving God.** Love is actually paying a price, love is giving, and love is not receiving. After people mistaken what love is, they will become very painful in love relationships and marriage relationships, and may even suffer from depression. Because of misunderstanding what love is. Loving God is giving, and God loves us, He gives Himself to us. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. How well this sentence is spoken. But the love relationships in the world are all about receiving.
Today, brothers and sisters, understand: love is giving. What does it mean to love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength? It means that all of our heart belongs to God. Let God own our hearts, and that is the beginning in our hearts of everything. Today, brothers and sisters, know: why can't a person see results when they serve God, because it is because they are not giving all of their heart to God. **All your soul is when we offer God all of our essence and emotion, and all your strength is when we offer God all of our power. That means our mind, emotion, strength, and all the things we give to God, and that is what loving the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.** If you apply this standard of measure, you can know how well you are loving the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Once you serve reluctantly, in the heart be thinking, oh! Work is so important, but there is also shepherding to do, serving is annoying, how can my heart give a phone call to the lambs, annoying! Then you tell the pastor: See how busy I am at work, and I am also serving. In reality you have got it wrong. Because in truth, it is not that I am so busy at work and I am still serving. But it is that I am so busy serving and I still have to work. I am so busy serving, but I must do some things. Can you hear that it is different? Serving after work is so important just means that work is very important, because serving God and loving God is not important. Why isn't it important? Because we feel like we are so busy at work but we squeeze out the time to serve. It seems to be that we are telling God: look! I am so busy at work and I still squeeze out the time. This isn't loving the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Today, let me boast a little, when it comes to preparing for sermons, I prepare with all my strength. When it comes to leading Bible studies, I lead Bible studies with all my strength. Compared to all the pastors, my output or my productivity is about two times to three times that of an average pastor, or even four times to five times. And really, I didn't spend so many years, I have written nearly 60 books, and that is not a joke. If a book is between 80,000 to 100,000 words, that is more like 4 million to 5 million words. At the same time, I also do pastoring, I also lead the training, many of our courses are written by me. I also do deliverance and healings, I also do the carpentry, and I also directly tutor my children. As a matter of fact, they are really lucky to have me here, a chance that I may use to tutor them directly. And really, not many pastors serve as all-heartedly as I do.
Once when we were attending a conference, the big-name pastor was giving the seminar on stage, and people were writing up their questions, on pieces of paper: Rev., what hobbies do you indulge in in your spare time? At the time my staff member and I were sitting below thinking: And these pastors' hobbies are very valuable. One said he loves hunting, one said he loves sports cars. My colleague then nudged me and said, What are your hobbies? I then started thinking about it, and I just wanted to say, my hobby is ministering. I will just minister and minister till the end, and the more I minister, the more I enjoy it. I don't need a sports car, nor do I need to go hunting, nor do I need to go for fishing. When I see the photos that a lot of other pastors have, on whatever social networking sites that there may exist, it shows them doing these hobbies of the past.
But I was just thinking, what is my hobby? And my hobby is serving my God. It is serving the spirit of our Lord, to take care of our flock. Is it not the best choice that he has given, it is not only the best choice; it is to adhere to His doctrine and to follow Him, as only, we follow Him until we receive Him. What we, all the strength that we poured onto Him is going to be fully realized when He is there with us. To let it all out, do not serve when serving, for it is our choice to love Him. A choice is made with a free will, not forced, thus we are able to.
If your hobbies are what you see now, you have the choice that you, you will tell yourself My Hobby is My Job, and I Minister in my time serving That will only get you as far as where you are today. Nothing will change. We will be working and serving for our people our great Lord above.
Today everything does not matter for what it is. For the core it is my interest, is the interest that has kept the world going.
If your interest is in what you do for work only, you say that my most interesting is the opportunity I have to make money. You tell not how to work and do not take the opportunity that the Lord gives you for his time. This is the right thought for us because we say something for the great and the little of time. We must work our way to what is important to know what is important to our Lord.
Therefore we must, together, together by the little, work our way to what is needed to have our Lord. We are what we do and work on so what we say and have is of value. I say and let the beauty of the light show for all; just remember that my heart and spirit is true.
Today in sharing something there is full determination to be ready for something. When determination is there we can keep, we can give back what needs more importance through the little beauty that there is. It can be so that the joy finds something, something by a great and little miracle by the blessing. Therefore what is to be together is shared and the support of doing all. The one that has done something from little to many in support as a serving person to the Lord is a great friend. The choice of knowing is there and to receive, to choose is great from something one wants to have. To follow is hard, to accept is easy, though the world does provide hardship and problems.
## God is Looking for Someone to Love with All Your Heart, Strength, and Soul
Today for sharing, everyone here is needed by the glory so everyone can know more of their Lord. Is by the power of the blessing that there is something to believe, is believing to accept our Lord now.
Are you ready to grow? To grow and feel the miracle that has been given by the Lord. I hope to receive and see, for His glory and power is here right now!
We all have a purpose for the work, it has made a lot of people fall and suffer. I'm not hoping the same to all to come but know that the Lord is always by our side and we shall never be afraid. To be faithful will require us to have faith from the soul.
Here for everything that you will give, for sharing that the Lord, the Lord gives so there is not, be not of the faith where the soul will break because of love and there shall be nothing else for the core to have. By a part there maybe shall show to have of all the strength, that the Lord has provided for His holy power in the Heavens, therefore for knowing and believing He can take that all so all shall not fade to have the strength to live and do for our people.
This day is the chance/day for a chance. A chance brought by a glorious one, the power is to let our time for our hearts to let our Lord provide, therefore there is hope in the core. To let our time be set this day and more days by, in, always, for the heart of our Lord to be in our days.
May the Lord bless you all!
