Introduction

Hello everyone, and welcome to the sixth lecture in our series, "Becoming an Active Learner." Today, we will explore what I believe to be the most crucial topic: abstraction, summarization, induction, and organization. These four concepts, represented by eight words in total, play a vital role in determining the direction of your life. Traditionally, the "eight characters" refer to the year, month, day, and hour of one's birth, each represented by two characters. However, in this context, I am referring to the eight words that encompass abstraction, summarization, induction, and organization.
