Introduction

We will be discussing the Book of Hosea, Chapter 7, which contains numerous gems. Do not assume that it merely describes the Israelites; it also describes each of us. We must constantly remind ourselves that we are not significantly better than the Israelites. God chose the Israelites, implying that they were the most outstanding nation on earth. If the Israelites could not achieve it, no other nation in the world could, it is as simple as that. The world acknowledges the Israelites as the most intelligent nation, without a doubt. However, why did such intelligent people commit so many foolish acts? This truly reminds us not to be complacent and to recognize that we still fall far short. The main theme that Hosea emphasizes in this chapter is that foolish, ignorant, and rebellious people will become the laughingstock of others.

If you study world history, you will undoubtedly read about the experiences of the nation of Israel from its demise to its re-establishment in 1948, which are almost incomprehensible. Why did God's chosen people, the Israelites, become the laughingstock of the world? Even now, do not think that people have become smarter. Perhaps I deeply desire for people to become smarter, but it is not a proposition that can stand on its own. After reading this chapter, I feel: God, have mercy on me, and do not let me become the laughingstock of others. Do not think that we have become great just because we founded Chinese Mingding Destiny; it would be good enough if we do not become the laughingstock of others!

You may notice that I occasionally engage in a little bit of Versailles, but deep down, I still know my own limitations. Do not assume that I am very conceited. I dare not consider myself smarter than the Israelites. I would be content if I could avoid being foolish, ignorant, and rebellious, and not become someone to be ridiculed in this world. I often share one thing with everyone: always assume that you have not done things correctly! Some people say: if you yourself have not done things correctly, why should we follow you? Do you see that? The logic within people is truly ridiculous! I am not sure whether what I am doing is foolish, ignorant, and rebellious, or whether it aligns with God's will, so I constantly examine myself to see if I have done things correctly. This is my logic. I have seen many people who firmly believed that they were doing things correctly, but later became the laughingstock of others. There are countless such stories.

Some people think they are very spiritual, copying and pasting passages from somewhere to their social media, but none of the content is their own creation. They keep doing this every day and still feel good about themselves, as if they are very spiritual. I once ministered to a cancer patient who thought he was very spiritual. It was difficult to get him to repent. He would send this message or that article to groups when he had nothing to do. Until now, we continue to witness how humanity, due to foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion, becomes an object of ridicule. Whether you are a believer or an Israelite, you will experience this because some of the most basic foundations are mistaken.

The Israelites Did Not Know That God Wanted to Heal Them

When the Israelites prayed and it did not work, they thought it was normal for God not to heal. I once ministered to someone who had a minor urinary tract infection that never seemed to heal. His pastor often said: if God does not heal you, do you still believe in God? He said: he believed. I wondered: what exactly do you believe in? The most important thing is that people do not realize that these things are happening to them. If you are a Christian, you are God's people, which means you are an Israelite. The key is which kind of Israelite do you belong to? If you are a part of the Israelites who perished, you will become the kind of Israelite who is ridiculed in the world, which is also normal. If you are like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, having the faith of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob within you, then it is easy to deal with. However, the Israelites did not know that when God said in the Bible that He wanted to heal the Israelites, they immediately revealed all their sins before God.

“When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was uncovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.” (Hosea 7:1)

Our God is too divine! For example, when I pray, I say: God, look at this brother or this sister, can they be raised up to be a leader? Even as I am thinking, this person reveals the foolishness within their bones before me. This is not something I did; it is definitely God's work, so God is the God who reveals people's hearts!

Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall and rise, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul, too.” (Luke 2:34-35)

When Jesus was born, Simeon said that this child would reveal the intentions of people's hearts, meaning to expose what is in their bones. God wants to heal them, but just as He is about to heal them, He decides to forego it, because at the critical moment, they sin, rebel, or are ignorant again, exposing their wickedness, all of which is related to foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion.

I dare not say that I am a smart person, but I should be someone who knows God's will. I know what kind of person God considers foolish and what kind of person He considers smart. So when I am talking to people, I often feel hurt in my heart. The other person thinks they are speaking well, but what I hear is foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion. People often choose the wrong things and do not know what is important. They often create chaos because they do not know that God is the God who heals them. I give you a suggestion: if you have a disease, it is an obvious proof of your sins. Do not think that your disease has nothing to do with sin; it is closely related. How much suffering will you endure before you turn back from this ignorance?

Remember that foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion are all related to understanding, so I have put a lot of effort into solving the problem of understanding. We must know that God is the God who heals us. God wants to heal, but people sin and rebel, which is so ignorant! As a result, people still feel good about themselves and even invent a series of theological systems that claim God does not heal people. This kind of theological system is very popular now. Why does God make you get this disease? Because it is a blessing. Do you want some blessing? I do not want it! Some people also say that being sick is a blessing in disguise, but it is actually punishment, stubborn rebellion, and the result of foolish ignorance! Some people say: that is not necessarily the case, look at Job. Actually, Job is the same. If you understand the Book of Job, you will know what happened to Job later.

“I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. That is why I hate myself and repent in dust and ashes.” (Job 42:5-6)

Job also said that he wanted to repent. He used to think he was a righteous person, that he was amazing, but later he realized that he was a sinner. I ask you, why did Job offer sacrifices every day? If you read carefully, you will see that he was actually afraid of disaster coming to his family, worried about losing his children, and everything was about worldly things. To put it bluntly, it was really for the sake of his family's cattle and sheep, eating and drinking, ultimately seeking a wealthy life, which is far from sacrifice. So the Israelites did not know that God is the God who heals, which is a great humiliation to God. Now, stop listening to anyone who says that God does not heal. In fact, God really wants to heal people. God has long wanted to heal you, God has been waiting for you for a long time, but when will people be able to get out of foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion?

The state of people's foolishness, rebellion, and ignorance is so common that it is annoying to even see them gesturing in front of me, let alone in front of God. If you gesture to God, will God not discipline you? Someone called me and said: a sister has had a cold for a month, all other illness were cured, but her cough hasn't been cured yet. Do not think that I am a divine person, as if she will be healed by a single prayer. That is not what would happen! If you do not step away from foolishness, ignorance and rebellion, then you will become the laughingstock of the world. Not only should those who have believed for a long time do this, but those who have just believed should do it even more. In fact, everyone is the same.

It is hard not to be annoyed when you see so many things. Sometimes after I discern good and evil, I feel that you all forced me to discern good and evil. On second thought, isn't it all foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion? Serving is all grace! I can only comfort myself in this way, may God have mercy on me! I lost my temper again this afternoon, and then I thought about it, and there was only emotion and a sigh. The Israelites did not know that their problem was themselves. When they got sick, they attributed it to God not healing them, explaining that they should be like Job. There are all kinds of explanations, but they just do not explain that they are sinners.

The Israelites Did Not Know That Their Problem Was Themselves

Israelites and Jews are the smartest people in the world. There is a joke that we Chinese can at most rank second, and Americans third. Actually, it is quite arrogant and foolish to say that we rank second. People do not know that the problem is themselves; do not think that there are many injustices in the world. Someone with great talent was admitted to Peking University, but suffered heavy metal poisoning, as if someone had poisoned her. Her two sisters were also top students, but they both died early. If you look at it with spiritual eyes, it is a completely different interpretation. I tell you, nothing can replace one thing, which is that people need to repent themselves.

Although I do things very meticulously, I am still relatively rough in my speech and behavior, and I do not care about it. I show myself as I am in front of people, and people think that I am very authentic. I am the same on and off the stage, and some people think it is good that I speak more brusquely. Once, a person I was receiving asked me: how could you have this disease? He thought I was a saint, which is a huge misunderstanding. In fact, I have so many problems, not only do I know my own problems, but everyone knows them.

I find it particularly difficult to tolerate foolishness, which is also quite self-righteous. I think I am smart, and my stubborn temper often flares up. As for why I got this disease, it is because I am a sinner. I do not need anyone to tell me; I never think that I am holy. If I receive God's mercy and God thinks I am a holy person, I thank God, that is all. You have to know that this is called humility, but even if I am not good, I believe that my God can certainly mold me into the way He wants me to be.

People do not know that the problem is themselves. No matter what disease you have, whether it is congenital or acquired, start restoring your faith in God now. God has been waiting for you to repent for a long time. When I am ministering, I like to point out people's problems, but as soon as I point them out, the other person becomes silent. This means that I have stirred up a hornet's nest, because people do not think that they have problems. How important is their face! What does it matter to be a little sick? Sometimes I am very conflicted, should I touch it or not? Once I touch it, things will get out of control.

I want to tell everyone that the problem of Israelites, Chinese, and all people is themselves. If you are Joseph, even if you are sold to Egypt and become a slave, it will not affect your future, and no one can affect you. If you are not Joseph, even if you are not sold to Egypt, you will still be the same loser. People should never blame heaven and earth, but themselves. Some people complain about this mistake or that mistake. If they really cannot find anything wrong, they blame it on the moon, and finally they offend even the moon, and then they think they have no problems.

If a person constantly establishes their own righteousness in the spiritual world, even if you have great talent, you are just a small thing in front of God. It is easy for God to deal with and punish a proud person, so can we see the problems in ourselves clearly? You must know that the problems and diseases in people are not God's problems, they are our own problems. Do not make wild interpretations. Some people also question whether this is really the case? I think so, so I have fewer illnesses, thank God!

The Israelites Did Not Know That This Was All God's Punishment

The third point is that the Israelites did not know that this was all God's punishment. If someone can learn these three points, you will be the smartest person in the world. If you write these three points on paper, stick them on the wall, and recite them every day, you will really become smarter. The reason is simple, God controls everything. No matter how thick your arms and thighs are, or how powerful you are in the MMA ring, you are just a small ant, a little cockroach, or a simple little thing in front of God. To put it bluntly, that is still considered a thing. If you are not even a thing in God's eyes, you are ruined.

The Israelites did not know that these problems were all God's punishment. In fact, there is only one way to go, which is: God!, we must turn to you. But people have invented a series of things to interpret what we are experiencing, which means that we have not suffered enough. How do I know? Isn't it clearly recorded in the Bible?

“Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless—now calling to Egypt, now going to Assyria. When they go, I will spread my net for them; I will bring them down like birds of the sky. I will punish them in accordance with what has been proclaimed in their assemblies.” (Hosea 7:11-12)

The Israelites have their own logic and theories. After being disciplined by God, they encountered many disasters, but they could not explain them to the people. So the Israelites invented a set of theories, explaining everything as if it were flawless, but they revealed their foolishness, ignorance, and rebellion to the fullest, and as a result, they became the laughingstock of the world. Whether it is the nation of Israel or the nation of Judah, they are still the laughingstock of the world to this day. Do not think that we are qualified to laugh at them. In fact, we are just about the same as them, not knowing that this is all God's punishment.

Everyone, do not think that demons are in control. In fact, God is in control! According to the teachings of Jesus Christ, if what we experience is not permitted by God, not a single hair will fall from your head. God can control things to such a fine degree. The headaches, foot pains, difficulty in bowel movements, bedwetting, bowel leakage that you experience, and the fact that you cannot see for a while, you feel dizzy, or you have the three highs, etc., are actually not a big deal! If you believe in medicine, then go and experience it well. I can also tell you your fate: you will definitely experience God's punishment in the future. To be a Christian, you must be a Christian who pleases God, or do not be one at all. My words are relatively harsh, do not be God's people like the Israelites, because that will only make you the laughingstock of the world. What people think in their hearts and say in their mouths will come upon them.

“Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, but despite all this they do not return to the Lord their God or seek him.” (Hosea 7:10)

The Israelites have their own logic system, which all sounds very reasonable. They all think it is not God's punishment. Encountering some things is just God testing them, and they should be overjoyed when God puts them in all kinds of trials. Does this sound familiar? Actually, it's not about being overjoyed. The reason I came out to establish a church is because they talk nonsense and have too many misinterpretations, which is unbearable! Later, when I built my own church, I also talked nonsense for a while, and as a result, God disciplined me severely. But I have a little intelligence. I know this is all God's punishment, and I never dare to consider myself as Job.

When I built the church, I contributed money and effort, and I served very diligently, but I still lost my job. That was also God's wonderful work, it was God's punishment! Later, I deeply repented and realized that people who preach the wrong gospel are cursed, and those who believe the wrong gospel are also cursed. God punishes far more often than He tests you, and sometimes people are really not qualified to be tested by God. They are full of worldly logic and things, so there is no need to test them at all, they will definitely choose the wrong way.

**Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless— now calling to Egypt, now going to Assyria. When they go, I will cast my net over them; I will pull them down like birds in the sky. When I hear them flocking together, I will punish them. (Hosea 7:11-12)**

Why did the Israelites look for Egypt and Assyria? They wanted to gain benefits through diplomacy and politics, and economic means. If everyone observes carefully, you will find that people still have to trust God in the end! When God disciplines, don't say that this is also a blessing. If it weren't for this, how could I have come here? Punishment is still punishment. If you did it wrong in the past, you must work hard to correct it now. What should a true Christian look like? If a true Christian can't do anything right, then his faith will definitely not work either, because he will do everything wrong! He doesn't even know what is right, so he is in a mess. I also have to deal with the problem of easily losing my temper.

God punishes people very severely. In the previous chapter, we talked about knowing the kindness and severity of God. When God's kindness is revealed, it comes upon a group of foolish, ignorant, and rebellious people, and then the kindness is withdrawn. God wants to release His grace, and then the grace is withdrawn. God is not easy either, often offering kindness only to be rejected.

## The Israelites did not know that relying on the world would provoke God's punishment

I am giving you a heads-up, which is that if you lean on a wall, the wall will fall; if you lean on a tree, the tree will lean. If someone wants to find a backer, they will find that the mountain has collapsed; if they want to find a big tree to shade them, they will find that the tree is also leaning. If they are not crushed to death by the tree, then that is still grace. So people cannot rely on anything. If you want to rely on anything, then don't believe in the Lord. People who believe in the Lord still rely on worldly logic, aren't they just provoking God's anger for no reason? It's better not to believe in the Lord. Some people still insist on believing in the Lord, while also loving the world, and their minds are full of worldly things. God just glares at you, let alone kick you, even if a strand of hair falls and hits you, it is like the golden cudgel falling on you.

People do not know that trusting in the world will provoke God's anger. Everyone must now thoroughly deal with the logic system within us, and gradually change it. Someone said that he was recently deceived again. I can only say that he deserved it. Don't think that if you are deceived, I can help you pay it back. You still have to pay it back yourself. If you have no food or drink, I can give you a bowl of noodles to eat, so that you won't suffer. But you have to think about why you were deceived? You were deceived out of 100,000 here, and another 100,000 there. You must know that on the road of loving the world, there is a rush of horses, one after another. After experiencing discipline once, you go back to loving the world, again and again. Don't you know that God reigns in the kingdom of men?

It was God who gave Jeroboam the throne, and it was God who gave Jehu the throne. In the end, they all fell into the worldly logic system and felt that money was very important no matter how they calculated it. The US president's election is the same. If the economy is not good, it is difficult for that president to be re-elected. This is simple logic. Provoking God's punishment is that worldly logic system inside us. Therefore, I give believers another suggestion: make up your mind to be a resounding Christian, deal with that worldly logic system inside, and completely cut off the root of discerning good and evil within us.

Recently, we have been talking about loving each other. If you still discern good and evil after loving, then you have done it wrong. Like me, I immediately know when I discern good and evil inside, because I lack patience. People are actually very interesting. Once, my younger brother's son pooped in the house when he was young. The winter there was twenty to thirty degrees below zero outside, so we couldn't let the child go out to do it. But as soon as the child pooped, the whole house was filled with a bad smell, but his parents didn't think it was smelly. Because his parents are full of love for him. The parents would be anxious if the child didn't poop. Once he pooped, they couldn't wait to shout Hallelujah to celebrate. But we can't do it, we think the house is too smelly. This is a lack of love, because that is not your son. Some even clean it up, and the father can't wait to pick up the child and kiss his butt. It's full of love. People with children must have experienced this kind of thing.

If what is inside a person is God's logic, and what is inside is loving each other, then where does the discernment of good and evil come from? If you discern good and evil towards me, then you definitely don't love me. If I discern good and evil towards you, then I definitely don't love you. If I am full of love from the Father towards you, then the problems on you are all my problems, and I am anxious to solve the problems. So the worldly logic system provokes God's anger.

## The Israelites also call on God for worldly things

The Israelites also call on God for worldly things. How deep are these roots? See what the scriptures say.

**They do not cry out to me from their hearts but wail on their beds. They slash themselves, appealing to their gods for grain and new wine, but they turn away from me. (Hosea 7:14)**

The Israelites gather together for grain and new wine, for those worldly things, not knowing that this will provoke God's anger, and not seeking God's righteousness and God's kingdom. When they call on God, they find that the ground is too hard. They kneel on the entire Simmons mattress on the bed, and while kneeling, they also cross their legs, thinking that they are fasting and chanting Buddhist scriptures. They look quite rich when they sit. In the winter in the south, it is quite comfortable to plug in the electric blanket. You see, they call on God, but they are wailing on their beds, and what God needs is their repentant heart. What Hosea is saying should be screaming like cats in heat, which sounds disgusting.

The Israelites are asking for grain and new wine in bed. Are there many such preachers? Have you ever heard preachers asking for world peace? In fact, Jesus had already said: I did not come to bring peace to the world. I once attended a prayer meeting at a local church. The pastor was on the stage calling on everyone to pray for Singapore's economy and for the general election, but why couldn't I hear prayers for the kingdom of God? There were very few prayers for building a glorious church of God, but instead, they were asking for peace for Israel, Palestine, and Gaza. In fact, everyone must understand that those things are all done by God, and then you are still asking God not to do them. Does that sound a little inappropriate? Of course, don't ask God to do more, anyway, we only ask for God's kingdom and God's righteousness! If you say you don't know God's kingdom and God's righteousness, then you will slowly figure it out, otherwise it will be enough for you to suffer.

People must call on God, but if the prayers are all provoking God's anger, wouldn't that be asking for death? Of course, we also have these things inside. Ask yourself what you are really asking for, and be sure not to ask for these things. Are there any mothers who pray for themselves for a daughter-in-law? There definitely are, there are too many. Some people come to church to find a son-in-law, and they still think about finding a rich son-in-law. Of course, there are also many who are looking for a daughter-in-law, or a boyfriend or girlfriend, and some people even ask me if I can help them find one. I answer that I know, but I never act as a matchmaker. If a couple quarrels, then I become the dish in their plates. As soon as they quarrel, they will complain about me, blaming me for introducing them to each other, but when the couple is intimate, they forget about me.

The Israelites also call on God for worldly things. Do you think they can avoid being unlucky? Their minds are full of these things: who bought a house and made a lot of money, who sold a house and made a lot of money, all these things. They also ask God: Can I buy this? Or should I not buy it? In fact, that is all unrighteous wealth. What is the point of asking? Some people call me and say: Can you pray for his money? I haven't even prayed for my money, so why would I pray for yours? What kind of mind is this? Perhaps praying for your money, asking God to bless you and make you a millionaire? Some people even think that a million is too little, it must be ten million. This is my personal experience, a real story.

Someone asked me to pray for him, to ask God to give him ten million. I asked him which part was worth ten million. He said it was for making offerings, to offer five million. Later, he said that it would be simpler to just leave five million and give him the remaining five million. This calculation is really smart enough. I'm afraid there is no one smarter in the world than him. It's all for the things of this world. Why don't they know to see through the things of this world? They even thought that there was no need to transfer the money, it would be quite simple to just cash it in. I think God will definitely give you five million in ghost money, and may have the opportunity to send me to burn it for you. Didn't the previous chapters mentioned that God asked Hosea to marry a prostitute? I may be saying this a bit harshly, but that is the fact. God hates this kind of thing.

## Although God wants to redeem Israel, they lie to God

**Woe to them, because they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, because they have rebelled against me! I long to redeem them, but they speak about me falsely. (Hosea 7:13)**

These people even fool around with God. Zhao Benshan sold crutches very well in the skit. Originally, people were not lame, but they were fooled into being lame. That is a first-class salesman. Some Christians sell crutches to God, do they want to fool God into being lame? God wants to redeem Israel, to save them from the hand of the king of Assyria, but the Israelites, from the king to the common people, lie to God. God asks them if the king of Assyria is going to destroy them. They stubbornly say that it is pretty good. This is about saving face and suffering alive. In the end, they didn't save face, but became a joke to the world.

**Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, but despite all this they do not return to the Lord their God or search for him. (Hosea 7:10)**

It is not easy to be a Christian. Many Christians end up playing false with God all day long. In fact, not only does God hate people playing false, but I also hate it. I ask if there are any problems, and the answers are all that there are no problems. In fact, there are a lot of problems. Isn't this false? What I hate most is that people don't ask me questions. I arrange a job for him, and I know where the problem is, but he still says there isn't one. Later, I deliberately asked him if there were any problems, and his answer was still no. I asked him again a week later, and the result was still the same. I thought to myself, This is bad, the problem is completely big this time!

God wanted to redeem the Israelites, so He sent a prophet, Hosea, to warn them, saying that God wanted to save, heal, and redeem them, to save them from the hands of the devil, but they lied, saying that everything was fine. It says here that they act falsely, with thieves breaking into houses and robbers harassing in groups, talking about the spiritual world. When people encounter problems, they don't even have the courage to tell the truth. How is it possible not to perish and not become a joke to the world?

## Although God teaches Israel, they plot to resist God

**I trained them and strengthened their arms, but they plot evil against me. (Hosea 7:15)**

This is how foolish, ignorant and rebellious they are! God wants to redeem them, yet they lie to God. God wants to teach them, to point out where they have not done right, but their faces droop down and they complain about what God even wants them to do. God finds it hilarious when He hears it, and really wants to punish them, to get rid of them altogether and never give them a chance to question God again. Actually, God teaches the Israelites when they have not done right. When I am serving, I will also point out where the other person has not done right, but as soon as the other person hears it, their face turns ugly. I asked him why his face changed, and he asked me in return, Why did your face change too? I said, You didn't do it right, should I give you a good face? This world's logic is too upside down.

God asked Cain why his face changed, and Cain actually said that God's face had changed too. I find it funny when I hear it, and it's a complete mess, that's just not allowing to be taught. Our brothers and sisters must change. I tell you that this thing is not done right, don't you have to first ask what the right one looks like? I tell you that this method of learning is wrong, what is the right method like? How difficult is it for us to correct things? Why resist God? If the Israelites had done it right, would they have lost their homes and their country? If the Israelites had done it right, they would not have been so poor, and they would not have even had their land robbed.

**Foreigners devour his strength, but he does not realize it; his hair is sprinkled with gray, but he does not notice. (Hosea 7:9)**

What kind of stupidity is this? Foreigners devour the strength he has worked hard for, and they are robbed but they don't even know it. They still argue that this is not the case, just because they are afraid that it will be embarrassing to say it. No one can look up to this kind of person. Angels cannot look up to them, and even ghosts cannot look up to them. Ghosts think that these people are stupid enough. What kind of people are they who plot to resist God? Brothers and sisters must understand that if someone or God tells you that you have not done right, and tells you that you should do this or that, even if you have a big mood, don't give people a bad face. People will eventually be judged by God. God has kindness, and is also stern. God has prepared abundant mercy and grace for His people, but people resist God, what kind of stupidity is this!

**They turn away but not to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words. For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt. (Hosea 7:16)**

Until now, the history of the church may not all be glorious! In fact, like the history of the Israelites, they are all foolish, ignorant, and rebellious people, a history that is ridiculed. But among this group of people, perhaps there is a small group of people like Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, and Joseph, and what they have experienced is the truth of God!

We must be like this group of people, choose to make up our minds to emulate Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. If you cannot emulate Joseph, then emulate Jacob; if you cannot emulate Jacob, then emulate Isaac; if you cannot emulate Isaac, then emulate Abraham. Some people think that this requirement is a bit high, but at least we must go to Abraham's side.
