If You Love the World, the Love of God is Not in You

Recently, I have discovered that loving the world is the most serious of all problems. If you love the world, the love of God is simply not in you, and you cannot have Mingding Destiny. Following the world's logical system makes it impossible to follow God's logical system. Even if you are Abraham' grandson, if you belong to the world's logical system, you are a cursed person.

If a person does not love God, he is accursed. I think everyone should ask themselves today, are you a person who loves the world? The most core aspect of the world's logical system is relying on ability. People who like to rely on their own abilities cannot go far. Esau lived by his own sword and was cursed as a result.

You can live by God's blessing, or you can live by your own hands. Today, the devil often deceives us with ability, so stop relying on your own ability. Horses represent worldly ability. Everyone must start to come out of this, and stand in the logical system of this life and eternal life to see. If you stand in the logical system of this life, Lazarus is impossible, but standing in the logical system of eternal life, it is better to be a begging Lazarus than to be a rich man, because the days to come will not be easy. Our brothers and sisters must know that in the days to come, we must do our best to oppose the worldly value system: money, ability, this life, and the flesh.

Continuing from the last session, the Israelites had to build the temple according to God's instructions. We must build as God asks us to build. If God gives you this task to build, and you do not build according to God's words, it will be very troublesome. Our brothers and sisters must know that building the church must be according to God's words. If building the church is not according to God's words, but according to the world's logical system, it is called a great harlot in the Bible. One foot in the world and the other in the kingdom of God, with a mind full of worldly values.

Only Those Who Can Fight Count

After Moses led the Israelites to build, God asked Moses to count the twelve tribes of Israel. How many are there outside of the twenty-year-olds who can go out to fight? Every tribe was counted and recorded. If a person becomes a Christian and cannot grow up and mature, those who go out to fight do not count. In the New Testament, it says to strive to grow up and mature, and grow into the fullness of Jesus Christ. God chooses people based on their attitude. Those who cannot go out to fight do not count. Fighting spiritual battles does not distinguish between women and children. Strive to become someone who can fight spiritual battles. This is God's will and God's requirement.

The count was six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty-five people. The Israelites camped in squads to prepare for battle, training the Israelites to fight in the wilderness, training the Levites to serve God, and entering Canaan to inherit the land. Without fighting and winning, you cannot obtain the promise. In this wilderness, they trained to be able to serve God and win battles.

Obedience is Blessing

The Israelites were ready to go to Canaan to fight. Before the battle, something happened. Moses married a woman, and as a result, Miriam and Aaron slandered him because of the woman he married.

The Lord said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” (Numbers 12:6-8)

They felt that Moses, an old man in his eighties or nineties, married a Cushite woman. What was he doing?

(Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)(Numbers 12:3)

This sounds a bit off. Moses wrote the Book of Numbers, and he said himself that he was humble. Can you understand that? If one day I am preaching, and I say that I am extremely humble, more humble than anyone else in the world, what do you think? Moses dared to write that, and not only Moses, but Paul and Jesus also wrote that. Someone told me that anyone who says they are humble is not humble themselves. This person is quite something. He came up and said that Moses, Paul, and Jesus were not good.

All three of them said they were extremely humble and prayed with tears. God stood on Moses' side. Moses married a Cushite woman. Who should take care of him? God takes care of him! If you want to take care, then you are meddling. What is meddling? It's not the people you shepherd, but you try hard to shepherd them. That's called meddling. You should shepherd, but you don't shepherd well. That's called irresponsibility! Some people got a little closer to Moses, below Moses, and they didn't know who they were. Today, I have discovered that some of us get a little closer to our leaders and don't know who we are. They start to take care of things they shouldn't.

Some people left me messages on the website saying that this is meddling. Then, when you take care of it, it's not meddling? Actually, this is my responsibility. Taking care of everyone is my responsibility. I have to take good care. But conversely, when people below take care of people above, it's called meddling. Like Miriam and Aaron, they didn't know who they were! Who is their superior, who is their subordinate, what is their responsibility? They couldn't figure it out. As a result, God said this is slander!

Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this.(Numbers 12:1-2)

This kind of thing often happens in the church. I met a prayer team leader who called me at night, saying that his stomach hurt so badly. I led him in prayer. As a result, he said he wanted to come on Sunday. I said don't come on Sunday, go to your pastor. But he insisted on coming, so I received him. When I was praying, the demon in him started to speak and scream. It turned out that when he usually prayed, he said, God, let my pastor become like this. God, my pastor did this wrong. God, my pastor has this kind of problem.

Do you need to tell God? Does God not know? God doesn't need it! If you insist on doing this, fortunately that person was not Moses. God didn't give you leprosy. God only gave you a stomachache. Later, I taught him the correct way. Actually, the Bible does not clearly see the teaching of the prayer team. Later, I told everyone that we don't need a prayer team. I myself am a praying person. Being a priest cannot be outsourced. The prayer team likes to meddle, taking care of things they shouldn't, and not taking care of things they should. As a result, Miriam got leprosy.

When the cloud lifted from above the tent, there stood Miriam with Leprosy—her skin was leprous like snow. Aaron saw that Miriam had leprosy, and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed. Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.” So Moses cried out to the Lord, “Please, God, heal her!”(Numbers 12:11-13)

We need to be clear about this matter of fighting. If people below take care of people above, wouldn't the world be in chaos? The army must be built according to the army's logic. We need to be clear that the church is the army of Jehovah, specializing in fighting spiritual battles! Therefore, obedience leads to blessing. Disobedience is very dangerous. The entire Book of Numbers records that in the 40 years the Israelites spent in the wilderness, God trained the Israelites to learn to obey, believe, and carefully observe and follow God's words.

We fight spiritual battles well! When we cast out demons, we say to the demons, Return the blessings you have taken away by 12 noon the day after tomorrow! The unsold houses of our sisters were sold! This is old horse returning money! Fighting spiritual battles brings extremely rich rewards! If we are not obedient or united, let alone win battles, it would be a relief not to be defeated! Why can't some churches win battles? Because the church is in chaos, in a state of disorder. Obedience is very important. This is the army of Jehovah.

Those Who Trust in God Will Not Be Put to Shame

Everything is now prepared for battle to enter the land of Canaan. Excitement is high, but God sends 12 spies into Canaan to scout the land, to see if it is fertile or barren. They return with grapes, pomegranates, and figs, declaring it a land flowing with milk and honey. However, the land they traversed devours its people.

There also we saw the Nephilim (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.” (Numbers 13:33)

Result:

Then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night. And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness! Why is the Lord bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” Then they said to one another, “Let us choose a leader and return to Egypt.” (Numbers 14:1-4)

Joshua and Caleb, two of the twelve spies, spoke to the Israelites, saying:

“The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.” (Numbers 14:7-9)

Well said! The Israelites then wanted to stone them. Joshua and Caleb were bold enough to kill Canaanites, and perhaps the Israelites should have been afraid of Joshua instead! The entire Israelite camp was in chaos, causing great distress to Moses. God, too, was deeply saddened. Why did they not trust in Him?

They had survived to this day entirely by God's provision, without Him ever failing them in the slightest! Yet, upon reaching Canaan, they feared battle. They had wandered in the wilderness for a year and two months, hearing God's voice directly, but at the first sign of difficulty, they were paralyzed with fear! They were ready to attack Joshua and Caleb with boundless energy! I am perplexed by such people.

I once met a pastor who said that the members of his church had no ability to cast out demons, but they were very skilled at challenging the pastor! I wondered what kind of people these were? Even today, some who walk with us fall behind. I cannot understand why they cannot follow us on this blessed path. We are the army of Jehovah, victorious in battle, wherever we go, the devils are defeated, howling in pain. The devils meekly return what they have stolen!

It is serious to lack faith! If you believe in your own abilities and do not trust in God, you cannot overcome the Anakites. These giants are indeed enormous. But if we rely on God, even as grasshoppers, we will sweep away those giants! Those without faith are truly unworthy of entering the Promised Land. By the logic of the world, if one's abilities are unremarkable, one's status insignificant, one's parents unimpressive, and one cannot compare to others in any way, one might feel that all is lost in this life

Restore a Heart of Single-Minded Devotion to God

If we look through the lens of God's logic, we live by God, we conquer by God, and God's promises will never fail! Brothers and sisters, those who fear death cannot enter the Promised Land. The reason we have come this far is because we have a group of people who are not afraid to die! A person who does not believe in God and does not rely on God cannot enter Canaan! What was God's reaction?

And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.” But Moses said to the Lord, “Then the Egyptians will hear of it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them, and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are in the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. Now if you kill this people as one man, then the nations who have heard your fame will say, ‘It is because the Lord was not able to bring this people into the land that he swore to give to them that he has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’ And now, please let the power of the Lord be great as you have promised, saying, ‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’ Please pardon the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of your steadfast love, just as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt until now.” Then the Lord said, “I have pardoned, according to your word. But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord, none of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despise me shall see it. But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it. (Numbers 14:11-24)

We, brothers and sisters, must have a heart of single-minded devotion to God. Many who love the world are foolish to the point of prioritizing things like foreign citizenship, jobs, children, and spouses. If these are your entanglements, you cannot walk this heavenly path. If you are to run the heavenly race, you must be single-mindedly devoted to God, and you will lack nothing. We must know that those who trust in God will lack no good thing. If we are constantly troubled by these things, we will not live well in this world because we lack a heart of single-minded devotion to God; we are always double-minded.

And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land— the men who brought up a bad report of the land—died by plague before the Lord. Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive. (Numbers 14:36-38)

What were these people thinking? Listen carefully. I often say that people's heads are filled with nonsense. I don’t really want to say it that way, but if I don’t say it, people will not wake up. If you live miserably, afflicted with various diseases, it is because you lack a single-minded heart and repentance. Such people will not see the Promised Land. We must have a heart set on entering the Promised Land. Even if there are giants, we must trample them, for God's word will never fail.

Fight to the End and Enter the Promised Land

Those who fear death cannot survive, while those who are not afraid to die will survive. Why is this so difficult to understand? People need to ponder this. In reality, there are not many who trust in God, not many who are unafraid of death, and not many who enter the Promised Land. Why do these people not know to follow Joshua and Caleb? If I had been there, I would have immediately stood by Joshua and Caleb. In the end, only Joshua and Caleb could enter the Promised Land, and not a single one of the other three million Israelites stood up. Such great men as Joshua and Caleb were not followed. Who would not benefit from following such men?

Today, reflect on this story. Does this story give us a heart of single-minded devotion to Jehovah God? A single-minded trust in His promises. I have walked through desolate days in the past, and I know that God's promises will be fulfilled in my life. His promises absolutely will not be annulled. I was nothing like Jesus before, but I knew that I had to do what Jesus did in the Bible. I prayed desperately and served with all my might. Back then, serving people with colds and cancer was exhausting, and many also opposed me, causing me sorrow and tears. But those who gained grace through me often caused me the most heartache.

Only less than five percent can follow through. This is a very peculiar thing. Why? Trusting in God is both very easy and very difficult. It is truly moving! Yesterday, I browsed the internet and looked at old photos. My sister told me not to look, saying I would cry. And indeed, I did.

The leaders I had trained in the past have almost all fallen. I felt pain in my heart, but later I understood that God is refining gold and searching for treasures in this generation. Those who are willing to be gold and willing to be treasures will inherit the Promised Land. Do you want to be a Christian who inherits the Promised Land? If you do, declare aloud: “I want to be a mighty warrior, trusting in God's promises, constantly praying and fighting until God's promises are fulfilled in our lives.”

Even if we are killed by the devil in the process of spiritual warfare, it is better than God sending pestilence and wrath upon us, and then dying miserably in the wilderness. Never be a Christian who dies in the wilderness. Trust in the Lord with a “die if I die” mentality. The logic of the world is so harmful. If we do not understand the dangers of the world, we will continue to live by the world’s system. Some have followed me for eight years and still cannot continue. Let us not be like the Israelites and provoke God's curse. May God bless everyone!
