Introduction

Good day to everyone. We shall read Matthew Chapter 19. In our study of the Bible thus far, especially the Gospel of Matthew from Chapter 1 to Chapter 18, I believe we have resolved many confusions. In fact, when reading the Bible, we strive to seek God's will and diligently examine the scriptures according to His perspective.

If we examine the Bible according to human understanding, it will be full of confusion. For example, if a hand causes one to stumble, or a foot, or an eye, should we then cut off the hand, foot, or pluck out the eye? Wouldn't the Kingdom of Heaven then be full of disabled people? In reality, that is not the meaning. What does it refer to? It refers to our carnal desires that cause us to stumble.

Previously, when reading the Bible, we thought that someone else caused us to stumble, but the Bible says that it is your own hand, your own foot that causes you to stumble. Then what exactly causes you to stumble? It is the worldly value system! If your hand and foot belong to the world, then you will surely stumble. Some people come to church and say, Pastor, you caused me to stumble. I say, Since you came, when have you stood up? You have never stood up, what stumbling? You were already fallen to begin with. We must deal with the carnal, worldly system in our lives. Explaining it this way, it becomes clear at once.

I believe there are many things that still confuse us. In fact, I would like to organise a Q&A session to resolve these confusions. For example, a Q&A session on the Book of Hebrews, the Book of Romans, the Gospel of Matthew. We will specifically address these problems. Why do we need to resolve them this way? Because we want to draw people into God's heart. How can one believe well if they indulge in human desires? Therefore, we must indulge in God's desires, not human desires.

But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offence to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”(Matthew 16:23)

That is to say, if a person follows Satan's way of thinking, he will stumble every day!

The theme of Matthew Chapter 19 is: Those who completely offer themselves for God will receive a hundredfold and inherit eternal life. Some say that the theme is to receive a hundredfold on earth, but if we read this passage carefully, we will find that many people have twisted this passage. Jesus heals the sick wherever He goes. Some interpret this as solving their spiritual sickness, but this interpretation is problematic! If even physical sickness cannot be solved, how can spiritual sickness be solved?

Husband and wife become one, entering into unity in Mingding Destiny

Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these sayings, that He departed from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there. The Pharisees also came to Him, testing Him, and saying to Him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for just any reason?” And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”(Matthew 19:1-12)

Traditional churches treat the matter of divorce as more important than heaven. I have known of some cases where many churches organise a camp, bringing couples with poor relationships onto a large ship, putting on wedding dresses and re-swearing their vows. Calling it lifelong, one husband and one wife, but in the end, the couple still live in the same bed but dream different dreams. People are very interesting. After reading this passage, they think that the husband and wife become one flesh after getting into bed.

What does it mean for two to become one flesh? There is a story. When God created Adam and Eve, God gave Adam a mission to govern the land and manage everything on earth. As a result, God saw that it was not good for him to be alone, so He took a rib from him and created a woman. When Adam woke up, he saw that the woman was very good and said, This is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh, and then the two became one flesh.

Why did God create a Eve for Adam? God hoped that Eve could help Adam accomplish his mission. God had a Mingding Destiny for Adam, but the woman not only did not help Adam, but also dragged him down. From then on, the couple began to quarrel and shirk responsibility. God said, Why did you eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Adam said, Look at the woman you created for me, she gave it to me to eat! and pushed the responsibility to Eve. Eve said, It was the snake you created that tempted me!

The first couple had a problem. They were not united. Unity is actually the unity of two people in God's Mingding Destiny. Unity that is not in Mingding Destiny is not true unity. They still live in the same bed but dream different dreams. A few days ago, a sister's husband was arrested. I don't know what crime was committed, and I was worried for several days. Later, it was discovered that he was in prison for a period of time because of prostitution.

Her husband's prostitution is not a matter of a day or two. How did their church teach her before? Just be patient, be patient! Who told you to be a woman? Jesus said: Except it be for fornication, it is adultery. Isn't prostitution adultery? We are very emotional. Is this what God has brought together? This is not what God has brought together!

We always feel that after two people get married, it is as if they have become one, but the result is that they live in the same bed but dream different dreams. There is neither the same Mingding Destiny nor the same intention, but just doing something. What is even more hateful is that many of our pastors are eunuchs for the sake of God, that is, single! But some of our brothers and sisters who have problems with their marriage tell our pastors, You have never been married or had children, how can you solve our problems?

Does getting married and having children make you grow up? In fact, the brain is still the same brain, and the garbage inside is still the same garbage. You have only done one thing of marriage life, are you really mature? Actually not. Have you seen Animal World? What is the difference between this and animals? It's just doing something very carnal. So, what confusion do we still have about this matter?

They said to Him, “Why then did Moses command to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?” He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry.” But He said to them, “All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given: For there are eunuchs who were born thus from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it.”(Matthew 19:7-12)

In fact, Jesus doesn't care about marriage at all. We read this passage and think that marriage is all arranged by God. Is it really arranged by God? If two people are not in harmony and dream different dreams, what is the point of maintaining this marriage? Some people maintain a marriage for the sake of face, but does such a marriage have a Mingding Destiny? No Mingding Destiny! So in Chinese Mingding Destiny, we carefully read this passage and found that Jesus does not value this matter at all. Jesus said, two people become one flesh, which is the most important thing to undertake the destiny at the same time according to God's will!

Jesus answered: Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery. Many people began to be confused when they heard this. This standard is a bit harsh! Not many people can do it! Especially it is more difficult for carnal people to do it. Then the disciples said to Jesus: If such is the case of the man with his wife, it is better not to marry. Does Jesus agree with this sentence? Jesus said: All cannot accept this saying, but only those to whom it has been given.

Jesus' disciples heard Jesus' teaching and concluded that if a man and wife are like this, it is better not to marry. Does Jesus agree? Jesus agrees. If people are not married and have no children, can they not shepherd those who are married and have children? If you have this theory, you better change it, why? Jesus has not married or had children, but how many people has Jesus shepherded? Marriage is a purely carnal thing,

If it is a purely carnal thing, it is troublesome! It is better not to marry. But this is not something everyone can accept. Some people say: According to this meaning, people have castrated themselves. What will happen to these people in the future? In fact, the problems that people consider are not the problems that Jesus considers, and Jesus does not care about this matter. What did Jesus say? Because some people are born eunuchs, that is, they are born without carnal problems, and some people are castrated, that is, they are castrated by men, and some are self-castrated for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.

For example, the Apostle Paul belongs to himself castrated for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Everyone read 1 Corinthians, which talks about the Apostle Paul's discussion of marriage. In fact, Paul's statement is very similar to what Jesus said. If you cannot accept this passage, you will not be able to accept the following passages. Why? Because people indulge in human desires, but God indulges in God's desires. If we people do not indulge in God's desires, there will be full of confusion inside!

What is God's will? Let us read carefully: There are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it. Many people cannot accept it. You think, how can a carnal person accept this sentence? That is, for the sake of the kingdom of heaven, he has completely given himself up. Even this kind of family happiness and marriage life have been completely given up for God. Don't, this is self-castration.

Carnal people cannot understand God's will

I want to ask why people conflict with God's statements? Because people indulge in human desires, and indulging in human desires is Satan! How can it be possible to come out of human thoughts by indulging in human thoughts? You can't come out. If you are still confused here today, you are still a carnal, worldly person. Why are we people uncomfortable? Because we are worldly and carnal, this will definitely attract ghosts, and those who attract ghosts will definitely be uncomfortable.

We recently prayed for some people with sickness and found a characteristic: It is better to pray today and come back tomorrow or fifteen minutes or half an hour later. I will take him to pray the day after tomorrow, and it will be completely restored the day after tomorrow. what is the reason? In fact, it is carnal, loves the world, and refuses to give himself completely for God. You said: How can I give myself completely for God? Isn’t it said that those who can accept this can accept it? You cannot accept it because you have not suffered enough. When you have suffered enough, you will understand that I should give myself completely for God, so that the problem will be easily solved?

And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them there (Matthew 19:2)

Why are so many people sick now? The hospital is like a vegetable market, and there are many patients every day. Recently, due to the epidemic, the ICU intensive care units in many places have been overcrowded, resulting in a mismatch between supply and demand in the medical system. If you still cannot understand this, I will tell you another paragraph.

Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” And He laid His hands on them and departed from there.(Matthew 19:13-15)

Everyone carefully read this sentence. Some people bring these children here, and some disciples think: Don't come to make trouble, what are you doing with so many children? Jesus said: Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

What does the child mean? The reproductive organs have not yet developed, and their carnal lust has not fully developed. Those who can enter the kingdom of heaven are those whose flesh is not developed, or those who have castrated the flesh. If those who can go to the kingdom of heaven are such people, then how complicated are we inside today! Recognizing good and evil, indulging in the flesh, loving the world, and still a complete adult, then who will suffer if you don't suffer!

Children’s thoughts are very simple, there are no twists and turns, and the carnal desires have not grown up or developed. Combined with what is said in Matthew Chapter 18, in fact, what really causes you to fall is all referring to the carnal. Then can you see God's will from the previous passage plus the following passage?

God's will is to continuously degenerate our carnal desires and love for the world, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven. If you say: I will not give up all this for Jesus, I cannot completely give up my body. I don't want to castrate myself for the sake of God and for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. I am unwilling to give up completely. How can you get the benefits? It is difficult for you to get the benefits, because the carnal things in you are the root of all your problems.

For those who completely offer themselves for Jesus Christ, there is no one who will not receive a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the age to come.

Therefore, today, among us, those who have many problems, who are healed by prayer and come again, are either deceived by the devil or by yourself. In any case, it is indulging in human desires. But if you overcome today, that's amazing! If you are willing to give yourself completely for God today and be a victorious person, overcoming the carnal desires in our hearts, overcoming the worldly logic system in our hearts, there is no one who will not receive a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the age to come.

I can testify to this matter with everyone. Some time ago, because of the epidemic, everyone was staying at home, so we promoted everyone to do the foundation building ministry. I asked a sister: Recently, there have been many riots in the United States, because a white policeman knelt on a black man's neck and killed him, which led to riots in many places. This sister said: I don't know. I asked: How could you not know? She said: I don’t have time to know! I said: What do you do with your time? She said: I am busy every day, I am doing foundation building.

This sister runs a TCM clinic and provides physiotherapy, massage and other services. Her customers are people with very serious diseases. She said: During my foundation building, a very wonderful thing happened. The number of customers did not increase, but the income doubled. It turned out that each person's consumption doubled. How good is this! Because of Jesus, he began to give himself, although this sister did not get a hundredfold, but it’s okay to get twice as much now.

I think that is how people should be. I once personally ministered to this sister, and she still had many shortcomings. However, through engaging in the Foundational Building ministry, many of her problems disappeared, and she was blessed financially and physically. Isn't this receiving many times over? She began to make great progress in dealing with the lusts of her flesh.

Therefore, brothers and sisters must begin to understand that a person who is carnal and loves the world is an enemy of God. If you ask me where diseases and the COVID-19 virus come from, I tell you that they all come from God, including AIDS. And who does God give these diseases to? To those who love the world and gratify the flesh. If it is given to those who love the world, gratify the flesh, and discern good and evil, then how can you survive?

I was thinking, how can people not know which way to go? Start dealing today with the worldly system within us, gratifying the flesh, loving the world, and discerning good and evil. If you have all three, that's cancer! Maybe you don't have cancer physically yet, but you already have cancer in your spirit, and in the near future, you will get physical cancer.

And behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “ ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Then Peter answered and said to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You. Therefore what shall we have?” So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first. (Matthew 19:16-30)

Let us carefully ponder these words. Isn't this a complete offering? You might say that being a follower of Jesus means being unfilial, forsaking brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers. Actually, a long time ago, I preached a sermon called Forsaking for God to Gain. Did God say to forsake? God said to forsake, but God's intention is for us to gain a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the next.

What issue were they discussing? They were discussing a rich man who came to Jesus and asked how to enter eternal life. Jesus said, Keep the commandments. He said, I have kept them all. What do I still lack? Jesus said, If you want to be perfect, what does it mean to be perfect? A complete offering is a perfect person, completely dedicated to God, completely belonging to God, and thus sanctified. If we still have reservations today, we are not holy. If you are willing to offer yourself completely, you will surely gain a hundredfold and inherit eternal life. If you inherit eternal life, everything you do will prosper because our hearts are no longer entangled by these things.

After this young man asked, he heard Jesus say, Go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me! The meaning is that you should sell everything you have. However, many people defend Jesus, saying that Jesus did not mean this, but meant that, that it was just a state of mind. Was Jesus talking about a state of mind? No! What Jesus meant was, if you really dare to do this, come and follow Me, offer yourself completely, you will surely gain a hundredfold and inherit eternal life.

Aren't you discussing eternal life with me? If eternal life is so important to you, why did you leave sorrowfully? Actually, you are still more entangled in this life! Especially the rich, because the rich have money, so they like to use money to solve problems. But can money solve the problem of eternal life? No! Money cannot make us a perfect person. If something prevents us from becoming a perfect person, we will put it down!

If a house prevents us from becoming a completely dedicated person, we will put the house down. Brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, wives, children, lands, these are all things that seem very important to us in our life, and Jesus also asks us to put them down. This is called a complete offering. You say, who can do a complete offering? Many people think it is impossible.

Is there anyone who can do it? Actually, the Apostle Paul in the New Testament did it. Why could he do it? Because God worked in him. With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. The person who asked this question was named Mark. Later, he really followed the Apostle Paul to serve God. It is not impossible; with God all things are possible.

Why are people unwilling to offer themselves completely? Because they always feel that they are at a disadvantage. If a complete offering is a worthwhile thing, then many people would be willing to offer themselves. Once, I took an old man out to see the scenery. I was driving back, and he was sitting in my passenger seat. I was chatting with him, and as we chatted, he said a sentence to me. He said: You said this very well. If I were to gain a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the next, isn't this a very good thing for me? Why do I still need you to persuade me? I said: Yes, this is a beneficial thing for you. Why do I still need to persuade you?

People living in this worldly world, if they hold on tightly to money, hold on tightly to family ties, hold on tightly to everything, they will eventually get a whole body of diseases. At that time, they will still need to find Jesus to pray. Now you cannot find Jesus to pray, you can come to me to pray. If I pray for you and it gets better, I will tell you to offer yourself completely for Jesus Christ. If you are unwilling, then slowly suffer the consequences. Many people surprise me: Why is it so difficult to do things that are beneficial to you?

Actually, Jesus wants us to gain a hundredfold and inherit eternal life. This is not something that everyone can receive. Whoever can receive it, can receive it. If this young man listened to Jesus' words and really gave all that he had to the poor, he would still become a rich man in the future, do you believe it?

Someone once told me a story: put all the money of all the rich people in the world together, and then divide it equally among all the people in the world, one share per person. Five to ten years later, many poor people will emerge again, and many people will become very rich again. What is the reason for this? If a person is poor in their heart, they cannot be rich. Even if you give them mountains of gold and silver, they will all be ruined. That is to say, if a person is poor in their heart, they cannot give things to others, because they have all been accumulated through greed. If a person has a wealthy mentality, not lacking money, not lacking time, and the church not lacking numbers, what a wealthy mentality that must be!

If we do things well, wouldn't there be no problem? But the problem is that people always have a poor mentality in their hearts. They always feel that the church's numbers are not enough, and the church's offerings are not enough. They are desperately squeezing outwards. What can they squeeze out? If the church pushes the brothers and sisters to gain a hundredfold in this life and inherit eternal life, how can the church be poor? If the church can make people blessed, bringing everyone into blessings, how can people be poor?

Today I tell everyone, carefully observe two things, these two things will never deceive you, and they will never deceive me. If people have many diseases, your diseases prove your faults, proving that you have many things that are worldly, discerning good and evil, and gratifying the flesh. Your body will not deceive you. So you need to repent well. Jesus heals you before you are completely changed, why? To give you grace, so that you can repent well! With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Therefore, as long as you hold on tightly to God, God will surely accomplish it. What is the other thing? Your finances, money matters are not likely to deceive people. I rarely see people with a poor mentality who are wealthy people. A few days ago, someone asked me, what exactly is a poor mentality? A poor mentality is always feeling that it is not enough. He spends 200 on a phone screen protector for himself, and 1000 on a headset. When it comes to offering, he makes all kinds of excuses. How is it possible for someone who thinks like this to be a wealthy person?

Earning less and spending more, he cannot save money, why? Because he always feels that it is not enough, he wants to consume this and that, always thinking that if he had ten thousand dollars, it would be great. I asked him what he would do with ten thousand dollars? He said: I want to go to the Arctic to see the Northern Lights, this is my lifelong wish. If you ask me if I want to see the Northern Lights, I would answer you like this: What's so good about that? Let's just look at the photos! I am very frugal, but I offer a lot, why? Because I have a wealthy mentality.

I am so rich, but I eat very simply. The poor guys who eat with me specially like to order expensive things. I can tell at a glance that this is a poor guy, who will only live a poor life, because he always feels that he is mistreating himself, always wanting to spoil himself. Such a person cannot be wealthy. I know many very rich people, they really don't care about these things. I heard that Buffett just eats a bowl of instant noodles. I took my co-worker to have lunch with a Singaporean businessman, and we ate very simple food. Later, I found that many rich people have a dim view of eating.

Who doesn't have a dim view? Nouveau riche. Those people feel that they have to eat a bowl of noodles that costs several thousand dollars to show that they are rich. Actually, people should have a wealthy mentality, so they won't waste so much. Jesus said to give these things away, giving away is wealth. I have everything, my Father's house has a lot of money, do I still care about money? God will surely make me rich. We give these things away, offer them up, instead of consuming them on ourselves, how is it possible to not gain a hundredfold in this life and inherit eternal life in the next?

We must know that a person who is selfish and loves himself has a poor mentality. If a person relies on money, it is difficult to rely on God. With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. For the sake of the kingdom of heaven, castrate yourself. If people want to be able to do it, God will surely enable them to do it. That is why some people can do it, because the power of Jesus' resurrection is on them!

After we adjust our thinking in our hearts, how is it possible to be unwilling to offer everything for God? If we offer everything for God, forsaking houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children, lands, we will surely receive a hundredfold and inherit eternal life. Isn't this a good thing? I don't need to convince you at all. But some people do not believe, and cannot receive it. If you see through the things of this life, and feel that the world is meaningless, and feel that serving God to gain eternal life is very important, then you can become a blessing to many people in this life, what a wonderful thing that is!

People are selfish in ignorance, discern good and evil in ignorance, gratify the flesh in ignorance, love the world in ignorance, and are unwilling to forsake in ignorance. If people have knowledge, understand things very clearly, and very thoroughly, how is it possible not to make a wise choice? Sometimes we feel that it is more difficult for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Such a thinking is troublesome. Think carefully about Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph, these people are all wealthy people, their big camels have all passed through the eye of the needle, because it was God who made them pass through.

Some people also argue, thinking that the eye of the needle is the ancient city gate. Actually, many explanations are far-fetched. We must know that the eye of the needle is the eye of the needle. For God, this is not difficult at all. Even something that Sun Wukong can do, why can't God do it? We should not underestimate God's power. Our Jesus Christ can raise people from the dead, Jesus Christ has also risen from the dead, Jesus Christ can heal all the sick who come to Him, and can also feed five thousand people with five loaves of bread and two fish, can catch a fish and take money from the fish's mouth to pay taxes, Jesus Christ can walk on water, Jesus Christ can do all the things that people cannot do. Then if we are like Jesus, completely offer ourselves for Jesus Christ, how is it possible for us to live a poor life?

We offer ourselves completely for God, imitate Jesus, not only exuding the fragrance of Jesus Christ, but also exuding the wealthy mentality of Jesus Christ, and exuding the image of Jesus Christ, to serve this generation and bear people's diseases, what a wealthy mentality that is! How is it possible to not gain a hundredfold in this life and inherit eternal life in the next?

Some people say, then forsake a wife and get a hundred wives? Everyone, don't get me wrong. If you can't even handle one wife, wouldn't a hundred wives be a mess? What does it mean to gain a hundredfold? It means that when you forsake, you gain something a hundred times better than before. It's not about changing a person. May God have mercy on us and not talk nonsense. Gaining a hundredfold and inheriting eternal life, this gaining a hundredfold refers to a hundredfold in God's eyes. We should be more considerate of God's meaning and less considerate of people's meaning. Doing so will reduce a lot of suffering.

If I tell you that Jesus spoke to the young man in this way, and also speaks to you in this way today, are you willing to forsake for Jesus? Here, there is a person named Peter who said to Jesus: See, we have left everything and followed you. Therefore what shall we have? We will gain a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the next, and in the future we will gain people like catching fish, becoming a blessing to this generation. Let our lives be like a candle, burning until the wax is ashes and the tears begin to dry, igniting and illuminating this dark generation.

Summary

Let our lives be able to live out God's wonderful plan for us, to live out the value that God originally intended for us. Many who are first will be last, and the last first. This sentence means that we are in front in the eyes of people, but we are actually serving everyone in the back. Do you want to be great in the kingdom of heaven? Then offer more and serve more.
