Introduction

Greetings everyone. I am very pleased to meet you online. In the second talk of the Loving God series, I will be sharing on the topic of God is a Jealous God. Why this topic? Because the news today is dominated by COVID and Delta. Recently, I have received numerous messages exaggerating the power of Delta and the Coronavirus to a fatal degree, yet these are not relevant to those who love God. Where does Delta come from? It comes from God!

Today, when you turn on the news, you see massive floods in one place, inundations in another; so many deaths here, so many missing there; earthquakes here, tsunamis there. It's the same thing every day. Besides these, there are wars between nations, you sanction me, I sanction you, the world is in great disarray! But no matter how chaotic, it has little to do with us who love God.

The signs of this generation indicate that the day of our Lord Jesus is near. When the day of the Lord Jesus is near, brothers and sisters, lift up your heads and bravely meet the day of Jesus' return. If the Lord Jesus really comes, are you ready? Are you someone who loves God? Are you the kind of Christian who died in the wilderness, or the kind who entered the Promised Land of Canaan? Or did you enter Canaan only to become a subject of a fallen Israel? This is critical!

Why discuss this topic? To encourage everyone to love God more and not the world! The entanglements of this world are too many and too heavy! What are people thinking about? You must know this:

If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)

You must understand that you cannot love both Mammon and God. You must love God or you will love Mammon. Mammon is money or the world. You must understand that the Delta virus comes from God. I say this with biblical basis. Where do diseases come from? In Revelation, the angel says:

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague (or death), and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Revelation 6:8)

This is part of human history. Even with COVID, Delta, World War I, World War II, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, and all the natural and man-made disasters of the world, people still cannot wake up. Don't you find it strange? Without these things, imagine how depraved people would become!

The Israelites left Egypt but died in the wilderness. Terrible! Corpses everywhere on the road to the kingdom of heaven! Corpses everywhere on the road to the Promised Land of Canaan! What happened to the Israelites who entered Canaan? From Joshua to Samuel, this period is called the Book of Judges. The stories in the Book of Judges are also tragic! Everyone did what was right in their own eyes. Was God's goal achieved? No! Why? Because people love the world! The entanglements of the world are so heavy that the love of God is not in them.

Think about it, our God really doesn't care how many people die in the world. God is a jealous God! Jealousy means jealousy. Jealous translated is an envious God. In Noah's time, the earth was full of violence, so God used a great flood to destroy them all, and only Noah's family of eight was saved. What were the others doing? Eating, drinking, and being merry, just having fun. Buying, selling, planting, building, investing, managing finances, doing everything. But when the flood came, it swept that generation away.

You might say: God, you are so ruthless! But who are you to judge God? We have no right. What can you do by arguing with God? People are washed away, what can you do? When God brings a tsunami, who can stop it? In Lot's time, Lot was a man who lost his Mingding Destiny. His wife kept talking to him, she loved the world so much. She invested in real estate, buying properties in Sodom, as expensive as school district housing today! Sodom was well-managed and very modern.

Compared to Abraham's tent, Sodom was like a luxury home compared to a Mongolian yurt. Abraham lived in a place like a Mongolian yurt, while Lot lived in a place like a luxury home today. As a result, fire came down from heaven and burned Sodom, and Lot's wife became a pillar of salt.

Can you imagine the tragic situation? When fire came down from heaven, Sodom was still buying, selling, planting, building, marrying, eating, and drinking, everything was fine. Today, the Lord Jesus is coming again, and God is a jealous God! Don't just have reverence without loving God.

Last time, we mentioned that Ruth was to marry Boaz, and someone asked, Boaz touched so many women! Touching one woman brings the curse of thirty ancestors. Boaz was also quite old and had many curses on him, so how many curses would Ruth inherit by marrying him! He forgot that the Bible doesn't say that. The Bible says:

…visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, (Exodus 20:5)

But those who love God, God will keep his covenant of love to a thousand generations (see Deuteronomy 5:10). Blessings are transmitted, and so are curses! The key is not how many people one has touched, calculating how many curses one has received. No matter how many curses a person's ancestors have endured, as long as that person chooses to love God, God's blessing will follow him to a thousand generations. So the topic I am speaking on comes from the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments sound scary, but they are full of grace. Brothers and sisters must reacquaint themselves with our God.

If in the past we had this as a Santa Claus mentality, this is especially for you because God is not Santa Claus. If you still have the misconception that the Coronavirus did not come from God, but from the devil, this is also for you. Epidemics are controlled by God.

Someone says: Isn't God love? But when he killed the Egyptians, where was God's love? In Noah's time, where was God's love for those who were swept away by the flood? In Lot's time, where was God's love when fire came down from heaven and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah? Don't be mistaken, God's love is for those who love Him.

God is a jealous God! What does it mean? Those who hate God, God will punish their sins to the third and fourth generation (see Exodus 20:5); those who love God, God will keep his covenant of love to a thousand generations (see Deuteronomy 5:10). Do you have the right idea? Don't think that God treats those who hate Him the same as those who love Him.

Someone asks: How does God tell us to love our enemies? You must know that those are your enemies. Try loving God's enemies? You are to love your enemies, who may or may not be God's enemies. Do not love God's enemies. Some time ago, we talked about King Saul and Esau, who were rebellious in God's eyes, and curses came upon them. Saul angered God by not killing King Agag.

So brothers and sisters, don't be mistaken. You will suffer if you love God's enemies. We must not build God's church with a good-hearted mentality! Many of our pastors have a good-hearted mentality, always trying to be nice. Where do you put God? Be clear, love what God loves. Even if someone has offended you, you must still love him, for he is loved by God. But what God hates, you must never love. It is no joke to love God's enemies.

Scripture

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:2-6)

Prayer

God, let us have a heart that reveres you, that we may know you, a jealous God! God, remove all idols from our hearts, and take away the things devoted to destruction from within us. God, begin today to cleanse our minds with your word, that we may open our spiritual eyes and see the state this generation is in.

God, speak to us, that we may have a heart that loves you wholeheartedly. God, lead us to our posts of service to you, that we may love you with all our heart, soul, and strength. God, let us receive strength from you, and persevere one more mile on the road of loving you. God, help us to know you more deeply, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Scriptural Background

The events recorded in Exodus are unprecedented. What God did in the generation of the Exodus transcends human imagination. A man named Moses was born into a time when the Egyptian Pharaoh wanted to kill all the male children of the Israelites. Why? Because there were too many Israelites, as many as three million. Three and a half thousand years ago, having a population of three million was incredible; it would be a very large city today.

How did Egypt turn the Israelites into slaves? Wasn't Joseph the Prime Minister of Egypt? Later, he brought his father and siblings over, and everything was fine in that era. Every dynasty has its own ways. When Joseph died, the new Pharaoh of Egypt looked at the Israelites and asked, what do they have to do with us? He forgot about Joseph and turned the Israelites into slaves. The Israelites had no choice.

Don't think there's anything wrong with being a slave. Why? Because under the whips of the Egyptians, the Israelites became well-behaved. Reading Exodus, I realized that the Israelites did not suffer from depression as slaves in Egypt. Why? No time for depression! As slaves in Egypt, no one was lazy, nor could they be, because the Egyptians solved all problems with a whip.

Later, in Moses' time, when Moses was born, his mother saw that he was so handsome and beautiful, that she risked her life to hide him for three months. After three months, she could no longer hide him, so she put Moses in a basket and floated him down the river, where he was found by the daughter of the Egyptian Pharaoh, who took him to the palace to raise.

When Moses grew up, he said that he was an Egyptian prince, handsome, skilled in martial arts, and extremely knowledgeable, but he knew that he was an Israelite and wanted to save the Israelites from Egypt. But God's time had not yet come, so he killed an Egyptian, and Pharaoh wanted to kill him, so he fled.

After Moses fled into the wilderness, he lived to be eighty years old, herding sheep in the wilderness for forty years. He faced sheep all day long, and could not even speak clearly. The prince became a shepherd. Later, he married a woman named Zipporah, marrying into her family. Do you know what it means to marry into a family? It means that instead of taking a wife, you become her husband and eat from her father's table, which is very dishonorable. During those forty years of herding sheep, Moses' character was smoothed out.

One day, God called Moses to go to Egypt and bring the Israelites out. Moses had once vowed to bring the Israelites out, but even though Moses was a prince, he could not defeat Pharaoh. Now his dream was completely shattered. Forty years of herding sheep was no joke. So Moses bargained with God, but he could not resist God, so he went.

Who wrote Exodus? Moses himself wrote it, a little subtly. Why? His relationship with his wife was not very good. What happened? On the way to Egypt, God wanted to kill Moses. Why? Moses did not elaborate, because Moses had a disease of being controlled by his wife, who was his boss.

God told Moses to circumcise his son, because God does not like the unclean. But Moses' wife would not allow it. She said: We are traveling in the wilderness, why perform surgery? Moses' wife Zipporah had always been in charge at home, so when Moses said this, she disagreed. This disagreement was serious, and God wanted to kill Moses.

We don't know exactly why God wanted to kill Moses. But later, when Zipporah saw that God was really going to kill Moses, she quickly circumcised her son. After the circumcision, she said: You are truly my nemesis.

One thing is very interesting. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, and three months later, God spoke to Moses and gave the Ten Commandments we are talking about today. But three months before that, Moses sent his wife and children back to his father-in-law (see Exodus 18:1-2). On the way to Egypt, God wanted to kill him. Why? Because Moses honored his wife more than God, so God wanted to kill him. God is a jealous God.

Later, after Moses brought his wife and children to Egypt, there were always arguments between the couple, so Moses sent his wife and children back to his father-in-law, and Moses stayed in Egypt alone to perform miracles. Later, God performed ten miracles on the Egyptians through Moses' hand.

Later, hearing that Moses had led three million Israelites out of the wilderness and had become the king of the Israelites, Moses' father-in-law accompanied Moses' wife and children to find Moses. This reveals to us that Moses was able to manage his family or not? It seemed not very well, at least he didn't manage his wife well. If he couldn't manage his wife well, how could he manage the Israelites well? God wants him to manage the Israelites, who can stop it?

As a result, Moses performed ten miracles before the Egyptians, all of which were fatal and tragic, and finally killed the firstborn of Egypt. Throughout the process, the Egyptian Pharaoh would not allow the Israelites to leave. Moses bargained with Pharaoh, saying that he wanted to lead the Israelites to serve God: I want to serve my God! I want to serve my God! I want to serve my God!

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. (Exodus 20:2)

Brought out to do what? Brought out to serve God. Today, when you and I come to believe in the Lord, we come out of the world to serve God. Some people think: Serving God is so troublesome! In fact, after a person believes in the Lord, the purpose of living is to serve God, otherwise, he should do whatever he wants.

Today we are Christians. God calls us out of the world, and we must know what we are here to do. Today, if you are not someone who serves God, and you don't know that you are to serve God, I wonder what you have come to do. So, we must be like the Israelites who left Egypt, we came out to serve God.

You don't have to doubt that the miracles performed on the Egyptians were all done by God. Who told you to hinder God's people from serving God? If you hinder God's people from serving God, God will strike people with miracles, and this is no joke. Those who hate God will be punished for their sins from father to son to the third generation, which is a curse.

So, on the day that three months were completed in the wilderness, God spoke to the Israelites on the mountain, have you seen what I did to the Egyptians? If you have seen it, you must be careful. In this generation we are in today, have you seen what God is doing to the people of this generation? You must know that it is what God is doing.

‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.” (Exodus 19:4-6)

So today, we brothers and sisters must know that you do not need to defend God. This is all done by God. In the generation we are in today, floods, COVID, and great fires are all done by God. You must know that God is a jealous God. After three months were completed, God said to the Israelites:

“You shall have no other gods besides me. (Exodus 20:3-6)

Objectively Knowing God

God is a jealous God, and God is very ruthless, striking the Egyptians with ten plagues. The Egyptians are also people, but those who hate God will be punished for their sins from father to son to the third generation. No matter who you are, if you hinder God's people from serving God, or if you are God's people but are unwilling to serve God, you must know that God is a jealous God, and God will never let go of those who hate Him.

To this day, when we carefully examine the generation we live in, we see people with a cancerous disposition, whose minds and thoughts are filled with such things, and who hate God in their bones. God allows cancer to attack you unless you change.

God led the Israelites out of Egypt to serve Him, not to indulge in luxury. That generation all died in the wilderness because they were unwilling to serve God. On the path of faith, there are many casualties, whether it be Lot or Noah. So you must objectively know God; God is a jealous God, and He is not to be trifled with.

Some people believe in the Lord, but their attitude towards offering is a matter of life and death. When they see the need to give, they take out two hundred dollars and say, Isn't it just two hundred dollars? Take it if you want it. Does God lack those two hundred dollars? It is this attitude that leads to severe consequences. Even today, some people say, Haven't I come to the meeting? What more do you want from me? Know that God is a jealous God, and He is not to be trifled with.

If you have your own set of ideas, and you treat God as a rag or a servant, that is deadly. You must learn to revere God. Because God brought us out of Egypt, out of the world, to be a holy nation, to build a kingdom of priests, that is, to serve God. If you say you are not, and yet you want to benefit from God, then I advise you to stay away from God, otherwise, the outcome will be deadly. The end will be similar to that of the Israelites who died in the wilderness, which will be very tragic. Therefore, love God wholeheartedly.

Serving God is the purpose of our lives, and it is the purpose of God's salvation. Everyone must know that we cannot have other gods. God will punish those who hate Him, and show covenant love to those who love Him. This is said to those who believe in the Lord. Everyone must know that you reap what you sow.

A few days ago, a sister posted a video on TikTok about the current Delta virus. It is said that the current epidemic is quite severe, so severe that many governments are preparing to give up resistance. Can you withstand this plague? The plague comes from the spiritual realm, how can you withstand it? No matter how you try to prevent and control it, you cannot control it at all. The Delta virus is completely conquering and seizing territory, it's deadly! If there is a wildfire in the mountains, what can you do?

Brothers and sisters, know that no one can stop natural disasters. People appear very small and weak in the face of natural disasters. Do not listen to some people shouting about how man can conquer nature. When has man ever conquered nature? Remember! Who can arm-wrestle with our God? Who is qualified to tell God what to do? We have only one choice: learn to love God. Today you do not need to be afraid of Delta. Delta and COVID are not important. What is important is to love God! God shows covenant love to those who love Him!

Only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land after the Exodus because they wholeheartedly loved God. God is a jealous God, we must not mess around, our attitude must be right, and we must know what we are here to do. If you do not know what you are here to do, do whatever you want, but do not offend God.

Besides God, You Shall Have No Other Gods

Besides the God who brought us out of Egypt, we cannot have other gods because God is a jealous God. What does Besides God, you shall have no other gods mean? It means that we must never treat anything else as God. This is a very deep curse, and you must remember my advice. You will understand when you observe carefully. If people dabble in spiritual things, you cannot have other gods. If you have other gods, this jealous God, the God who created all things in the universe, will surely destroy you.

Why destroy these people? Is God so domineering? Do you think you are God, and I cannot worship other gods? You can worship, no one is stopping you. If you want to reason with God, go ahead, but I do not want to reason with God. I will do as God says.

I have a characteristic, which is that I listen carefully to what people say, especially what wise men say, and even more so to what God says. We must carefully listen to what people say because they understand things. When I heard God say, Besides Him, you shall have no other gods, I dared not have other gods from the moment I started believing in Him, from the moment He brought me out of the house of slavery in Egypt. Why? Because our God is a jealous God, so to this day, I am at peace.

So you do not need to be afraid of COVID, you do not need to be afraid of Delta. If you are so scared of COVID that your legs go weak, are you still a people of God? So everyone must know that this is the first commandment in the Bible's Ten Commandments. Because God brought you out of Egypt to serve Him.

“You shall have no other gods before me.” (Exodus 20:3)

If you say that you just want to have other gods, what about it? Then you can try. If you love anything more than God, God is a jealous God, and He will surely deal with you. There is a saying that a Christian leans on a wall, and the wall falls; leans on a tree, and the tree bends; leaning on anything is useless. Why? Because the God we believe in today is different from the gods others worship. He is a jealous God. You cannot say that I worshiped this God who brought us out of Egypt with a mighty arm and then got another god, that is very deadly.

Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt, and what did the Israelites do at the foot of the mountain when Moses was on the mountain? They cast two golden calves. These two golden calves became the gods who led them out of Egypt. Then God became angry, and God almost destroyed all the Israelites in the wilderness.

God said to Moses, I will destroy them all, and I will start from your generation, and you, your wife, and your son will be raised up again, and another descendant like Abraham will be raised up. Moses pleaded with God for a long time. Why did he plead? When Moses saw his two sons and his wife Zipporah, he thought, Forget it, my descendants are about the same as those Egyptians. So God spared the Israelites. What do you think it means for God to destroy a few people? There are many who have been destroyed by God. Therefore, everyone must learn to revere God.

You Shall Not Make Idols

A child often had a fever. One day, our pastor ministered to him, bringing his mother to pray for the child. After praying and getting better, the fever returned, and the situation kept repeating. The pastor asked the child's mother if there were any devoted things in the house. She took a picture, and the bedsheets were full of pictures of small animals. You say, what is the problem with these bedsheets having pictures of small animals? Actually, there is no problem, the problem is that the bedsheets are devoted things.

Our God is a jealous God, it is not that those devoted things are bigger than God, it is that our God is a jealous God, and you cannot have these devoted things. Later, these things in the house were thrown away, and the child got better. Although there were still fevers, it was not as frequent as before, because there are still devoted things in people's hearts, and those things are very dirty.

So, after the Israelites came out of Egypt, our God told the Israelites that it is best to dig a pit and bury excrement with soil, lest God step on the excrement while walking in the camp. It is disgusting for people to step on excrement, and it is also disgusting for God to step on excrement. Devoted things are as smelly as excrement in God's eyes, they are very dirty. Because our God is a holy God, a jealous God, so there can be no dirty and devoted things.

So everyone must know that you shall not make idols, nor worship these things. I suggest that Christians better not do these things. I think many people like to do these things for decoration, thinking it looks good, such as wearing a necklace with the twelve zodiac signs. Why do you have to wear a necklace with the snake zodiac sign, or other zodiac signs? People just like to do these deadly things. As a result, God is a jealous God.

I once ministered to a very interesting friend who loved to play mahjong and liked to keep a Pixiu in her bag. Chinese people just love these deadly things. After putting Pixiu in her bag, she found that her knee had become inflamed and her leg hurt. That day I had dinner at her house, and after dinner, she told me that her leg hurt. Previously, her husband's illness was healed by my prayer. After her husband was healed by prayer, I told her that there were many devoted things on the bookshelf at home, and I said those things were not good. But she refused, insisting on keeping them, and as a result, her knee hurt so much that she could not drive, and could not step on the accelerator and brake.

Then she asked me to pray for her. As soon as I prayed, God revealed to me that there were devoted things on her, and it was Pixiu. I asked her if she had Pixiu? She said yes because she relied on Pixiu to win money when playing mahjong. I told her to throw Pixiu away, her leg pain was related to it. As a result, she took out a Pixiu and gave it to me. When I laid hands on her to pray again, God said again: She has another big one.

I then asked this sister: Do you have another big one in your bag? She said: How do you know? I said: Are you reluctant to take it out? Do you want your leg or Pixiu? After thinking about it, she took out the big Pixiu and gave it to me. She also thought I was very mysterious and knew everything. After praying, her leg was healed on the spot, and she had no problem going up and down the stairs, but there were still other devoted things at home.

Our God is a holy God, a jealous God. It is not because those things are very powerful, it is because those things are dirty, which led to people becoming devoted things. Brothers and sisters, you must live a holy life, do not collect devoted things, and do not worship these idols.

What people love to worship most is money. In fact, those Pixius are just idols in their hands. What are these idols for? To help them make money and win money when playing mahjong, but whether they win or not is unknown. People want to love money, and they do not hesitate to harm themselves for money. Skimpy tithes are also devoted things, because people love money, and money becomes people's idols.

God Will Punish Those Who Hate Him

“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,” (Exodus 20:4-5)

We say that curses will be passed down to the third and fourth generations. It is not because of anything else, but because of hating God, not because of loving God. To this day, many things surprise us. On the surface, they seem to love God, but they both got COVID and died. On the surface, they seem to love God, but they died of cancer. You must know that if you love anything more than loving God, you are not worthy to be a disciple of Jesus Christ!

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31)

Everyone must know that God will punish his sins. Because people often carry a worldly logical system, this is very deadly. Recently, I wrote a book called Two Logical Systems, which is an exposition of the Gospel of Matthew. You can also listen to the exposition of the Gospel of Matthew on the website. It talks about two kingdoms, two pursuits, and two logical systems.

Those who hate God belong to the worldly kingdom. God will give very heavy punishment to the worldly kingdom. We people are often uncomfortable, not because of anything else, but because God's hand is heavily pressing on us, and we are filled with things that hate God, and our God is a jealous God.

Will God have grace and mercy? God will have grace and mercy. When I pray for you, you will get much better. What does this mean? It means that God gives you grace so that you can turn back to God. If you still refuse to change inside, if you still love yourself more than you love God, and love the world more than you love God, the root problem cannot be solved. Because those things you value are all abominable to God.

What people value is abominable to God, and what people honor is abominable to God. Is this not very deadly? Has it not become a devoted thing? Why are people uncomfortable? God sent a demon to mess with you. Even if God does not mess with you, the demon will mess with you. I think today we do not need to value anything, whether it is a throne, money, or status, we must despise all these things of this life, because God is a jealous God, and He will surely punish his sins.

God Will Show Covenant Love to Those Who Love Him

Many brothers and sisters ask me how to love God? To love God is to keep His commandments.

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, (1 John 5:3)

If you have difficulty keeping God's commandments, then you do not love God. Why? If you love God, you will not feel hardship. You are willing! Look at those men and women in love, he asks you to do anything, and they will do it, and they are willing to pay any price without regret. But after a period of time, it becomes regretful, and after another period of time, it becomes an enemy because love is gone.

That love is crucial! Today we must know that God is a jealous God! God does not allow us to love anything more than Him. If you love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength, it is very easy to keep God's commandments.

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him— (1 Corinthians 2:9)

So people must know that if they live without God or do not love God, how sad and how foolish it is! How difficult is it to love God? How difficult is it for us to save the time on the sickbed, the time with COVID, and the time with any disease to love God? Why do some people feel it is difficult today? Because there is a wrong logical system inside people, filled with worldly and fleshly logical systems, and they are naturally enemies of God. If a person is greedy for the world like Esau, he will be cursed. If he loves his throne like Saul, he will naturally become an enemy of God.

Next to my office, there is a shop that specializes in selling things for the dead. It has all kinds of things, including toilets for little ghosts, decorated very fancy, and there are beauties and sports cars. You will find that the logical system in people's heads is very interesting. When living in the world, they do these things, and after death, they still think these things are important. So today, brothers and sisters, do not love the world or the things in the world, because if you love the things in the world, the love of God is not in you.

What are the things of the world? Plowing and building; buying and selling; marrying and marrying; eating and drinking, it is these things. So if people plow and build for money; buy and sell for money; marry and marry for money; and eat and drink for living; all of these are for living. So people become Esaus who are greedy for the world in order to live.

So brothers and sisters, I tell you that the COVID virus will definitely not find those who love God. Our brothers and sisters must listen carefully. What kind of people should we become? Why are we afraid of those things when we drive out demons? There is no need to be afraid at all! So if you are seeking God with a love for the world, that is deadly.

If a person loves the world, let him love the world well. If you are blinded by this world, then do not seek God. If you seek God, God is a jealous God, and God will strike this generation.

Summary

Most important is to wholeheartedly love God! Because God is a jealous God, if you do not wholeheartedly love God, and you want to get benefits from God and from the world, you will end up as a prostitute. So wholeheartedly loving God, this commandment is not difficult to keep, it is in your heart, in your mouth. Your heart is filled with the kingdom of God, you have a very clear understanding of the kingdom of God, and you have a very clear understanding of people living in this world, what is so difficult to keep?

If there is a state of war in our heart today, and your fleshly self and your spiritual self are often at war in their choices, people will often be uncomfortable. But I give you a hope, if your heart chooses to love God, you can kill that uncomfortable thing, you can completely transform your fleshly self, let your body obey your spirit, let your body obey the choice in your heart, and start saying I want to love God, I want to keep and follow His commandments, I want to completely put to death the evil deeds of my body, I want to discipline my body!

Everyone must know that God will be gracious to those who wholeheartedly love Him, and show covenant love to them for a thousand generations. What a blessing this is, and we need such a blessing today. If we look at this generation, if our hearts deviate, we will surely experience God's discipline. God will not fail to give you a chance, but if you often deviate, you will become like the Israelites who died in the wilderness.

Actually, God does not really care how many people die, God only cares about those who love Him. God has called us, and God wants us to serve Him, to love Him with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength, not because God lacks love, but because when we love God, we can receive the crown of glory in eternity from Him.

Do you have a heart to serve? If you have a heart to serve, and wholeheartedly love Him, God has prepared for you things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived. Brothers and sisters, God wants to show us His love in this disaster-filled generation. Today, let us open our arms, open our hearts, receive the love that comes from God, and then we can wholeheartedly love Him!

May God bless everyone!
