How do we become clever? It is by studying Proverbs, Chapter 5, which speaks of a very important theme: staying away from sexual immorality. A sexually immoral person cannot be clever.

When I was building the church in Singapore, one day a young man came; he had been sent to reside in Singapore for business and then mingled among us. One day, when this young man was studying the Bible with me, he suddenly slammed his phone on the ground with a loud thud. Seeing that he was very agitated, I asked him what had happened. It turned out that he had been prostituting himself while residing in Singapore. He actually had a wife and children in China, but he had the bad habit of prostituting himself. In Singapore, no one arrests prostitutes; Singapore has a red-light district where prostitution is legal, and providing sexual services is also legal, but the people providing sexual services need to have a permit and undergo monthly medical check-ups to avoid transmitting diseases.

Are there people without permits? Yes, there are. Many people take tourist visas and stay in Singapore to work as prostitutes, returning home when their visas expire! The spirit of sexual immorality is disloyalty; it makes people unable to focus and be faithful.

You may object to my statement, but whether a person has cleverness and wisdom is closely related to sexual immorality. A sexually immoral person finds it difficult to have wisdom and cleverness. Or you may say: That's not true; look at how successful people are in business. Does doing big business make someone clever? Not necessarily. Later, he even brought a young man to prostitute himself, and this young man was also a member of our church. Imagine this eighteen- or nineteen-year-old young man never having seen such a scene; when he pushed the door open and saw those scenes, he was frightened and ran away. If that's the case, then don't go! In the end, it's still their own desire to go, and as a result, the spirit of sexual immorality immediately enters the young man's body.

Later, this young man had a girlfriend who was very sexually immoral; she would call him while she was still in bed with another man. In a fit of anger, he punched the elevator, thinking his hand was stronger than the elevator? As a result, his hand was fractured! After the fracture, he went to the hospital for treatment, and there is still a metal plate in his bone. What a brain damage! When the spirit of sexual immorality is in a person, that person becomes foolish. Some time ago, I heard an unrefined term called thinking with the lower body.
