The topic of Dreams is relatively easy to talk about because it concerns the future. For anything related to the future, I don't need to take responsibility.

Whether your dreams come true or not has nothing to do with what I say; it has a lot to do with the faith within you.

When I was in high school, I had a friend who was very interesting. At that time, teachers had a habit of asking a class of newly enrolled students to introduce themselves and talk about their dreams. We all went up to speak. Generally, people would first introduce their name and then say what their dream was, such as: I want to be a doctor, a teacher, or a soldier when I grow up. But my friend went on stage without even introducing his name and said directly:

Hello teachers, hello classmates, I am here, my dream is there, and there is a certain distance between me and my dream, thank you!

Then he stepped down.

Our class burst into laughter immediately. How could this person be so interesting! Didn't this statement amount to nothing? Our teacher said: You haven't introduced this dream clearly. He said: This is how I introduce my dream. On the day we finished high school, three years had passed, and the teacher said: Come, everyone, talk about your dreams again like when you first enrolled. Then my friend came up again, and we were very expectant. He said:

I am here, my dream is there, and I am getting closer and closer to my dream. Thank you!

My friend was quite characterful. After entering university, I contacted him again, about a year into his university life. I asked him: Why did you introduce your dream that way back then? He said: I don't want to tell you. I thought for a moment: Then I'll ask you what your dream is. He said:

I am here, my dream is there, and there is a certain distance between me and my dream.

I then said: That's not right! You said the same thing the first time, but the second time, weren't you getting closer? How come there's a distance again now? He said:

Alas, I changed my dream.

Then I understood that if you change your dream, you have to start over. I asked him repeatedly what his dream was, but he always said: It's my secret.

Finally, when we all started working, I asked him again: I've heard you talk about your dreams three times, so tell me about your dream again; what's the matter with your dream? He didn't speak, and he looked very depressed. Later, he finally said:

I am here, and I don't know where my dream is.

He was completely lost in confusion.

Of course, this is a rather interesting story about my friend. But I think many people have had such experiences: At first, they have many dreams, but as time goes by, they gradually forget what their dreams are and get lost in daily life and work.

I remember about two years ago, when I was leading the study of Genesis, it seemed to be when studying Jacob or Joseph, I asked everyone: So many of you, what were your childhood dreams? Have they been achieved? At that time, there were many people, but the proportion of people whose dreams had been achieved was very small; only two people's dreams had been achieved. One sister said: Her childhood dream was to be a teacher, and it really came true; she is now a teacher. Another person whose dream had been achieved was Sister ZY, and her answer is still very clear in my mind today. She said that her childhood dream was to grow up. Wow, that's a great dream; as long as you live, your dream will be achieved.

Today, one thing is very interesting: too many people find out in the end that they are not the ones on the podium of their dreams; the dream is your dream, but it is realized by others.

Dreams Have a Profound Impact on Your Life

Do you understand dreams? Do you know what kind of impact dreams will have on our future? I think dreams are like this: A British reformer once said, Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a character; sow a character, reap a destiny. A dream is something a person thinks about even in their sleep; that is a dream.

Some people take material things as the center, and some people take finding a boyfriend or girlfriend as the center. Such people cannot achieve their dreams. Once these things are violated, they cannot complete their dreams.

The reason why dreams are not fulfilled is because you live and live and change your dreams. Why do they change? An event, an idea, invades the place you think is the center, and your dream will change.

Why should we trust in God? Why does God let us give up these things? Because God does not want these things to become our center. This kind of center will destroy our dreams. Dreams cannot be small; they must be big. Dreams must bring about substantial transformation. Jack Ma's dream is to make it easy to do business all over the world. What is our dream?

Many people say that it is too difficult to realize dreams. People's hearts are always changing, but we must have a center. What we do what God values, and what we believe will surely be accomplished. We must know that dreams have a very important impact on a person's life because what we value determines our life. If your dream is just to have enough food and clothing, then your dream will be like a pig. If your dream is to find a boyfriend, then your destiny will be like a rabbit in heat. If your dream is to travel to every corner of the world, then you will be like a world map.

Today, why are our dreams shattered? Because what we value is constantly changing, and our destiny is often rewritten. Is this the fate of a person's life? A dream is about finding that indestructible foundation. If your dream is the above, then you will pay a very heavy price because those things will change.

My dream is to travel around the world, and your destiny will be like a world map. If your dream is to work hard, you will definitely not be able to beat the computer. The computer can work 24 hours without rest; can you? Why are our dreams shattered? Because what we value is not what God wants us to value, and our destiny is often rewritten. Some people's destinies are like pigs, rabbits, or maps because the foundation will change. Dreams are brought about by the foundation of thought. We need to find an indestructible foundation.

How to Realize Dreams

Many people ask why I have not realized my dream? What should I do? Today, we must seek change from the inside out. An American bishop did not understand until he was dying that the realization of dreams must begin with changing oneself. Today, our change must be an active state, not a passive change. Passive change is no different from destroying the foundation because you are restrained by the environment, and you will pay a heavy price for it.

The prince would no longer think about the country and the throne. Because God never changes, He gives us a solid foundation.

Another reason is that people only care about what they care about. Such people will die in spirit. There are two seas in Palestine, one freshwater sea with fish and trees, and the scenery is beautiful. Many people play there. There is also another sea, these two seas are adjacent to each other but completely different, the Jordan River also injects water into these two seas, this is the Sea of Galilee constantly injecting new sea water, and the other side constantly flowing out, being charitable and lively. One that never pays is the Dead Sea, so there is a saying that there are two seas in Palestine and two kinds of people in the world.

There are also two kinds of people in the church. Although he is a Christian, his dreams may not be realized. Some Christians are self-centered people, and their dreams may not be realized. Because, they are devoted to their own ideas. No matter who you are or what dreams you have, if you are a self-centered person, such dreams cannot be fulfilled in your life.

Someone asked, what exactly does self-centered mean? — Whether you value what God values can determine whether you are a self-centered person. The Bible will tell you what God values.

Self-centered ideas are prevalent in the church. I often see people who have no faith, not even as good as worldly people. Today, no self-centered enterprise will succeed, and no self-centered person can accomplish great things. This is a sad thing. Today, we must all seek change. Do you want your dreams to no longer be shattered? Do you want to stand on the podium of your dreams one day?

My dream is the dream of the church, is the dream of me and the pastor, is the dream of Abraham - to become a blessing to all nations. How many people have given up for our mission and Mingding? Have you given up your dreams for our church? We have indeed followed the dreams we want to accomplish and do it step by step. In the past, we solved a very important problem - the medical problem; next, we will solve a human-related problem - the education problem. This is to become a blessing to all nations.
