Introduction

Good morning, everyone! The topic I want to address is The Key to Management (Part 2): Continuous Renewal. As we all know and agree, management is God's will. In fact, God's will for management began in the first chapter of Genesis. So, brothers and sisters, we must understand that this management is not about going to heaven and just thinking about cleaning up there. There is none of that in heaven. Our God is the King of Kings, and those kings are us. Why are we kings? Because we need to manage.

The Bible clearly states that God wants to manage a city, five cities, or ten cities. Regarding the key to management, we have previously discussed one aspect called Emulation and Inheritance. Who do we emulate? We emulate Jesus. Our management system must have a source of origin. Of course, if you are a practitioner of Falun Gong, you would learn their management system. If you are a Muslim, you would learn the Muslim system. If you are a Buddhist, you would emulate the Buddhist system. But we Christians should emulate Jesus Christ.

Today, I want to discuss management from a new perspective called renewal. In the future, when Jesus comes, we will still be managing under Jesus Christ. Don't ever think that when you get to heaven, you'll just be saying Holy, Holy, Holy! all day long. Wouldn't you get bored? Some people are still calculating whether it's three Holys or six. That is not God's will. If one day, God asks you to manage a city, would you know how? If one day, someone asks you to manage a company, would you know how? What should you manage, and how should you manage it? In fact, the most important thing in managing a company is managing renewal. You must have that kind of creativity!

In the United States, there are ten most famous hotels, one of which is the Waldorf Astoria. The Waldorf Astoria in New York was built in 1931, and its founder was William Waldorf Astor. The story goes like this: One day, William Waldorf and his wife were looking for a hotel on a stormy night, but all the hotels were fully booked. Eventually, they had no choice but to find a smaller hotel.

In that hotel, there was a young man named George Boldt. George Boldt knew that the hotel was full, but seeing the elderly couple and the heavy rain outside, he offered them a room, his own room where he rested. George Boldt cleaned his room very thoroughly and neatly, and the old couple stayed in the hotel. The next day, when they were checking out, George Boldt said, There is no charge because this is not a hotel room. It is my own resting place. It is good enough if you don't mind it. And the old couple left.

A few years later, George Boldt received a letter from William Waldorf Astor. The Letter Wrote: George Boldt, you are the employee I have been looking for. Come and help me manage a hotel. This hotel has already been built. It is the Waldorf Astoria in New York. George H. Boldt was very excited, so he went to this hotel and managed it very well. The foundation of the management was laid very well. To this day, the Waldorf Astoria is still a very famous hotel.

Think about it, a hotel built in 1931 still stands tall today and is still doing well. What did George Boldt do? He managed one thing, which is continuous renewal. At that time, why did William Waldorf choose George Boldt? Because he had an innovative idea. Seeing the elderly couple unable to find a place to stay on a stormy night, he knew it was a season when hotels were fully booked. He created an idea and let the old couple stay in his resting room. However, he cleaned his room very carefully, which means he was a very good manager.

Becoming the Management Talent God Seeks

Can you imagine if George Boldt's room was a mess, could people stay there? Brothers and sisters, take a photo of your room and send it to your pastor to see your place. I tell you, with your management skills, even if William Waldorf came to your door, he would not write that letter, nor would he build you a hotel. This market is not short of chaos, not short of fools, not short of people without knowledge, nor short of people without ability. What this market lacks is management talent. What do they manage? They manage continuous innovation and continuous renewal.

Our church has such a characteristic of continuous innovation and continuous renewal, and it comes from my mind. I have a concept in my mind to build a church that constantly innovates and constantly renews. So you will find that this year is different from last year, last year is different from the year before, and the year before is different from the year before. Until today, the ideas of training people in the church emerge in an endless stream. You will find: Wow! Amazing! I think it's pretty awesome too.

This market will not treat you badly if you are a management talent. Even if William Waldorf does not come to your home, our God will still send another person to create a position for you. It may not be that hotel, maybe not that small shack, but it may be a position, but no matter what, you must do a good job in management. Today brothers and sisters, you must stand up, you must transform yourselves, do not be impatient, God will definitely create a position for you. You say, How do you know? I have come this way myself.

In my job, I climbed up from the smallest position in a department. I have many good habits. I was the lowest paid in the department, and I did all the dirty and tiring work in the department. But I studied, I constantly renew myself. When I grew to that position, my team leader left! Later, my boss said, Then you do it! So I did it. As I did it, my manager left! My boss said, Then you do it!

God will definitely create a position suitable for you. The question is whether you can do well and manage well. If you cannot manage well, how do you expect God to arrange it for you? You would be sitting on that position as if sitting on pins and needles. What God creates for you is not a hotel. Have you not read it? Our God once said in the Bible that He will give you a city, or even not just one city, but five cities, maybe ten cities, maybe a hundred cities. Have you read that? God is looking for talents! Our Lord Jesus is looking for talents! What the world lacks most is not fools, but talents. Especially talents who innovate and constantly renew, constantly learn, and constantly improve step by step.

Don't let anyone start dreaming, Oh, I want to have a stormy night, how wonderful! Having a stormy night, having ten of them is useless. If only there was an elderly couple, William Waldorf, how wonderful. If William Waldorf comes, you'll be scared to death, you'll see a ghost. Would an elderly couple find you? I don't think an elderly couple would look for you, ghosts would look for you. Where's the problem? The problem is, are you that George Boldt? Are you the one God is looking for to give you management and operation? If you don't prepare yourself well today, what will God teach you to manage in the future? Whatever you manage will go bankrupt.

The Way of Constant Renewal in Pastoring and Management

I know that there was a brother among us before. Later, he left the church. His characteristics were very obvious. In whichever company he worked, although he was not the manager of that company, he was able to influence the company to go bankrupt. He did another company, and then that company also went bankrupt. Either that company went bankrupt, or that company fired him. Wouldn't you call such a person useless?

Listen to my advice, today, be a person who constantly renews. Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, he is quite amazing, he manages things well. Among the ten most famous hotels in the United States, there is a Trump Hotel. Everyone knows that now, right? Pretty amazing, we have to admire him, he knows how to manage. As Christians, can we manage the things at hand well? If you cannot manage this little thing in your hands, what can you manage? What will God give you in the future? Don't tell me about a city, you can't even manage a hotel! Can you manage a small hotel, a small shop?

What pastors need when managing a church is actually being able to find people who are after God's own heart. I wish all our brothers and sisters were after God's own heart. One pastor taught me: Let me tell you, being a pastor is easy! I said, How is it easy? He said, You prepare 52 sermons, or 104 if you want, and if you have 52 sermons, you read them once a year. So it turns out it's mass production! What if you have 104? You read them every two years. I really met a sister whose pastor was like that. She stayed in that church for many years and heard the same sermons many times. And sometimes, he would preach it again, which was annoying.

The sermon on Continuous Renewal that I'm giving today, I'm not actually giving it just once, I've given it several times. Why? It's too hard to form a habit of continuous renewal. But every time I talk about continuous renewal, I talk about it differently. I don't recite the original one, there's no point in that. This is a church of continuous renewal. This is a church that promotes the continuous growth of brothers and sisters. If you are willing to renew, if you are willing to grow, if you are not willing, you can get out. If you don't get out, I will kick you out. If you are not willing to renew, and you are not willing to grow, then what did you come here for? Did you come here to slack off? You don't even have this attitude of being responsible for yourself at least. If you think what I said is unpleasant to hear, it's okay to say, You get out, You leave. That's roughly the meaning.

We must have a responsible attitude towards our own growth, right? The reformation of the church, it's not that Martin Luther reformed it and that's the end of it. If it's the end of it after he reformed it, then that's going to be bad. The church must continue to be reformed. But many people still go back to Martin Luther. I tell you, we need to go back to Genesis Chapter 1. What we are doing today can be said to be reforming brought about since Martin Luther's Reformation, and it has gone far beyond the reformation that Martin Luther brought about. This is the logical system of our Mingding Destiny. The most iconic one is called continuous renewal. We are pioneers of online church! We have been doing this for many, many years.

Some people, my pastors, they ask me, How many people are in your church? I told them how many people. He said, No, how many physical ones? He said that online ones don't count, he was talking about physical ones. I said, Physical ones, just me. Because why? Because we are all online. We are pioneers of online church! We have opened up a completely new pastoral system. Recently, I am still doing pastoral training. We are a constantly renewing pastoral system, not to say that this pastoral is chaotic and messy.

The Path of Continuous Renewal in Spiritual Growth

We have a set of pastoral system that is in line with the Bible and constantly abstracted from the Bible. We have started a movement like Jesus Christ, constantly renewing, growing into the fullness of Jesus Christ. We have started a way of Bible study of Chinese Mingding Destiny, that is, constantly knowing God and constantly grasping God's heart. These are the results of our continuous innovation and renewal. We have started a healing and deliverance with a theological system, not charismatic, nor evangelical. Our healing and deliverance theological system is more in line with the Bible, the Bible says that all were healed.

Our healing and deliverance theological system is not a gift, nor is it an anointing. Is there a gift? There is a gift. Is there an anointing? Yes, there is an anointing. But the theological system of healing and deliverance is a victorious church. We have started the theological system of victorious church, every brother and sister in the church must be like Jesus, must long to be like the Apostle Paul. Not number one in number, not number one in offering. It is holiness and unity, it is constantly learning, constantly growing. These are the results of our continuous renewal based on the accumulation of predecessors.

May God remember us, bless us, and be with us. No more stagnation, no more conservatism, no more sticking to past traditions. Although it is inheritance and emulation, it is in continuous renewal. What we emulate and inherit is Jesus Christ, as long as it is not completely like Jesus Christ, we must continue to renew. This is why we can constantly experience God. We have too many testimonies, only a small part of them are told, testimonies are like clouds!

In the past, when I attended gatherings in local churches, they told testimonies, and the same person was telling the same testimony from the past. Weren't there any other testimonies? Among us, there are not only testimonies of receiving grace, but also more testimonies of serving. You are the testimonies of our service. May God say when we come before Him in the future: You are a faithful and good servant. I sent you to manage a city, or God says, I send you to manage five cities, ten cities, or a hundred cities.

Wow! My God has actually built ten cities for us to manage. I must have that talent to do so, so God will surely give us that talent. I wish our brothers and sisters to God could all be people who can manage five cities, ten cities. Even if it is managing two cities, one city is also fine, they are all management talents. If others ask you, Do you have a management certificate? you can say that you graduated from Mingding Destiny and have a Mingding Destiny graduation certificate.

Scripture

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)

Prayer

God, today, through Your Word, inspire us, let each of our brothers and sisters enter the road of continuous renewal, let us all be down-to-earth, continuously renew, and be able to grow into the fullness of Jesus Christ. God, today, do this wonderful work in us, deal with our flesh, and let our flesh submit to You. Let us be able to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. Our offering in this way is only what is right and proper. God, today deal with the carnal things in our hearts, remove the filth in us, let us become more and more like You, remove the worldly logical system in us, let us be renewed by Your Spirit, let us constantly experience Your grace, let us often make good testimony for You, in the name of Jesus, Amen

The Power of the Gospel and the Life of Constant Renewal

The theme of Romans is not justification by faith. Everyone, don't get it wrong. Martin Luther did not understand Romans. He only read about justification by faith. Today we tell everyone that the theme of Romans is: This Gospel is the power of God. What does this power do? This power can put to death the misdeeds of the body. Why put to death the misdeeds of the body? Because a person who is carnal cannot live out the image of God, nor can he keep God's law. He must put to death the misdeeds of the body by the Spirit. This is the power of the Gospel.

This power of the Gospel can constantly do the work of renewal in us, let us restore the original glorious image when God created us. This is the theme of Romans. Did Romans talk about faith a lot of content before Chapter 12? It did Because what Romans talks about is this Gospel is the power, and this power is drawn by faith. No matter how many promises we have from God, they are 'Yes' in Jesus Christ, and all are drawn through faith. But a carnal person finds it difficult to draw God's grace, because the carnal man is innately at enmity with God.

Christians have believed that they have been saved from the day they believed in the Lord, but the flesh has not been put to death, and in the end, they are still a carnal person, who is innately at enmity with God. If you want to be at enmity with God, where can you go! So today everyone needs to know that the theme of Romans is that this Gospel is the power of God. When it comes to Chapter 8, that's amazing.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39)

That is to say, this is a victorious Gospel, this Gospel is the power of God. Therefore, the present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us in the future, that is, restoring the glorious image when God created us. Today, these sufferings are nothing. We must know that if God helps us, who can stand against us. Brothers and sisters, don't be discouraged. Let me repeat again, the theme of Romans is this Gospel is the power of God. No matter how many bad habits you have, as long as you are willing to trust Him, the Holy Spirit will help you put to death the misdeeds of the body.

Today, when answering questions and solving doubts, if you can ask questions, you will definitely ask, How to do it? The Holy Spirit is fighting against our flesh, the Holy Spirit is not fighting against evil spirits, understood? This is the concept of victory. Today, offer your bodies, let the Spirit of God work in you, let the Spirit of God manage you, let your body be managed by the Spirit of God, let the Spirit of God put to death the misdeeds of our body. This passage talks about Chapter 12. Therefore, brothers, I urge you with God's mercy to offer your bodies. If you don't offer your bodies, how can God help you kill the carnal habits?

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. This passage in Scripture explains why we can experience so much of God's grace among us. Because this is a church that is constantly renewing and changing.

The Meaning of Offering Our Bodies as a Living Sacrifice

Does everyone know what the meaning of offering our bodies as a living sacrifice is? Offering our bodies as a living sacrifice reminds us of a person named Isaac. When Abraham offered Isaac, Isaac should have been almost thirty years old. Why? Although he was a young man, he was not a child. A young man who had not yet married carried a lot of wood. Abraham was an old man of over one hundred and twenty years old. To offer this young man of almost thirty to God, if this young man was unwilling, the old man of over one hundred years old could not control him.

As a result, Isaac willingly let his father offer him. This is a miraculous story. When he offered his body as a living sacrifice to God, God said, Stop! As a result, God prepared a lamb himself. This story tells us that offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God is just a gesture, it is just a state of mind. In fact, God has never asked us to offer people. It was just a test for Abraham to offer his son Isaac. As a result, God prepared a lamb himself.

Today, let us offer our bodies as a living sacrifice. Actually, God Himself prepared His only Son, Jesus Christ, to be the lamb that atoned for us. When we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, it actually symbolizes putting to death the misdeeds of the body. Once a person is going to do this and offer his body as a living sacrifice. From now on, no longer live for oneself, but live for God. Because you have already dedicated yourself to God, you can no longer live for your own body, but live for God, this is called Mingding Destiny.

The most fatal thing in a person's life is living for oneself. Those who are carnal do not like to offer themselves; carnal people live for themselves. So, brothers and sisters, we must understand that the thing you are born with is called carnality, and this inherent thing does not like to be renewed. Therefore, studying and renewing are painful and uncomfortable. In the process of continuous learning and renewal, everything hurts except the hair. You feel sleepy as soon as you study, but when you go out to play and fool around, you are full of energy because you are a carnal person.

Why be carnal? Actually, there is no benefit in being carnal; carnal people have a hard life. For example, if a person is carnal, they like to eat. Recently, some of the very carnal people among us ate and ate until they had problems and couldn't breathe. So they called their pastors to pray for them. Being carnal is deadly. So we must know why the devil comes to ruin you – because you are a carnal person. Why are you a carnal person? Because you do not offer your body as a living sacrifice.

Don't even talk about offering your body; offering even a little of yourself, a little bit of your body, feels like it's killing you. Do you understand? Carnal people are difficult to renew; things like indulging the flesh, loving the world, and discerning good and evil all come from carnality. In the future, you will not be able to bear God’s good will for you. If you do not offer your body as a living sacrifice, if you do not put your flesh to death, it will be very difficult for you!

So, in the Old Testament, when the Bible talks about circumcision, it was written by Moses during the time of Moses. You can find it. This circumcision is not cutting off the foreskin of a man's genitals, but cutting off the evil desires and passions in our flesh. It is circumcision in the heart! Do you understand? So, brothers and sisters, we must know that offering our bodies as living sacrifices, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you, is the key to solving problems.

Offering Living Sacrifices and Mortifying the Deeds of the Body

You say, how do I mortify the evil deeds of my body? Offer yourself in your mind and do not live for yourself. This is what I mean by there is no blessing outside of Mingding Destiny. What does it mean to have a personal Mingding Destiny? It means to offer yourself completely as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is our reasonable service. You know, once we mortify the evil deeds of the body, everything tastes good, and everything we do is joyful. It's really wonderful!

Think about Zhu Bajie (Pigsy); he actually lived a very hard life. Why? He was doing things he didn't want to do all day long, and he couldn't get what he wanted to do. Some people are like Zhu Bajie, gobbling up their food. We don't eat like that; when everyone sits together, some people finish eating, while we are still chewing slowly. This makes Zhu Bajie very envious. Why? Because he swallows his food before he even tastes it; he is too carnal. For people like Zhu Bajie, it would be good if God made an oil hole for him; he wouldn't need a mouth, just inject the oil, and that's it.

Today, brothers and sisters, you must know that offering your body as a living sacrifice, being a person with a Mingding Destiny, then you can be constantly renewed! Then you can receive the word of God and bear the responsibility of management. Think about it; if a person is carnal, they are selfish and only care about themselves. People are inherently selfish. When selfish people manage others, their words and actions are full of selfishness. Who will obey them? No one will obey them. I often say that nothing that is inherent or natural is useful. Only continuous learning, continuous renewal, and continuous receiving of God's word are useful.

What does it mean to manage yourself well? Managing yourself well means offering your body as a living sacrifice. What does it mean to manage yourself well? It means mortifying the deeds of the body. What does it mean to manage yourself well? It means getting rid of the worldly and selfish things inside us, getting rid of those foolish and unwise things. That is called managing yourself well. It means removing the things inside us that are hostile to God and letting God reign.

Do you understand? If you don't know, start by making a decision: God, I want to offer my body as a living sacrifice. From now on, I will no longer live for myself; I no longer want to please myself, but only to please you. May your Holy Spirit work in me to mortify the deeds of my body. I will no longer be controlled by eating, drinking, and playing; I will no longer be self-righteous.

Brothers and sisters, can you understand? A carnal person will definitely be sought out by the devil. If you have cancer, it is the demon of cancer in you. Why is the demon of cancer in you? Because you are a carnal person. Although you say you offer your body as a living sacrifice, you actually don't. If you did, it wouldn't be like this. So, brothers and sisters, you must know for sure that only by complete dedication, by performing a circumcision in our hearts, by letting God's Spirit in our hearts cut off the lusts and desires of the flesh, and by being willing to live for God, will you surely be healed.

Do Not Be Conformed to This World

Over the past few years, I have always been puzzled by one thing – why do people like to worship idols? This has puzzled me for many years, and I have studied it for many years. Later, I discovered that idol worship is just this world. Why do people have a mindset of idol worship? The mindset of idol worship is very interesting. Let me give you an example.

Do Not Be Conformed to the Logical System of the World

A child is taking the university entrance exam, and the mother is anxious about the child's exam and goes to the temple to pray. As for whether it is useful, she is actually ambivalent. Why go and pray? She hopes that after praying, her child will be able to get into a good university. What is the relationship between praying and getting into a good university? Actually, there is no relationship, but people have this beautiful hope. Why does this beautiful hope drive people to worship idols? Because people don't want to be renewed, don't want to keep learning, and just want the result. I often know that when mothers go to worship idols, they ultimately bring spiritual bondage to their children! Why? They always want to gain without effort.

Do some idol worships work out well? Actually, some do. The evil spirits behind the idols can also perform miracles. But their miracles do not restore people to the glorious image of God's creation, but rather make them more driven to obey the logical system of this world. What exactly is the logical system of this world? If we take our business model today, it is a very good explanation.

If you are looking for venture capital, you must clearly explain your business model. Why is this model viable? If your business is difficult to grow and cannot be continuously replicated, people will not invest money in you. What is easy to do? It's as easy as printing money. This business model, once formed, is like a printing press, constantly producing money. Only this kind of business model can find venture capital. But this is a worldly logical system.

If you say, Invest in me! I want to keep updating. What are you updating? It's difficult, and you don't know what it will be updated into in the future. Only what you have now, being able to produce a million, ten million, or a hundred million, like Apple phones, with a hundred million after the upgrade, that has a business model, which can be continuously replicated. And the venture capitalist will definitely ask you, Can others copy your thing? If others can copy your thing, your thing has no competitiveness. If others can easily copy it, he won't give you the money. The whole purpose, whether it's venture capital or capitalists, is to keep making money.

A business model means that others cannot easily copy it, and others cannot come in and compete with you. Being able to monopolize the competition and continuously replicate, even at the expense of stifling competitors, that is the logic system of the world. If you carefully study the logic system of hospitals, carefully study the mindset of capitalists, carefully study stocks, real estate, and Ponzi schemes, you will find a common thing in them called being worldly.

But the Apostle Paul tells us: Do not be conformed to this world. Some people are confused by that. You say, If I don't conform to this world, there are some very creative things in the world. That's not what it means. The root of the logical system in this world is that it is best to keep replicating and making money. As for updating or not updating, that updating is also for the sake of making money. In the end, after the update, it is still a copy. This problem is very serious.

Some of our brothers and sisters, or the employees I used to manage, may have this idea very commonly: it's best not to change anything, just go to work every day, get off work, and get paid. It would be great to keep getting paid until the company goes bankrupt. It's best to keep getting paid and keep doing things without changing anything, and then get a raise. Creating and innovating is too difficult.

So by not conforming to this world, worldly things do not like to be renewed; they like to get the results directly. Isn't that great? But God doesn't want that. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Brothers and sisters, you must grasp a concept: those shortcuts, those things that seem easy, are all harmful. In the end, they turn people into useless individuals.

Do you know the difference between a person entering a large company and a small company? In a large company, the division of labor is very detailed. After the division is detailed, what do you do? You can only do this job. You keep doing it, just like that. Once you leave that company, you are useless. That's why many people who have finished their doctorates and become scientists end up unable to do anything after being laid off. What do they do then? They drive taxis.

Sometimes when we sit in a taxi, we see that the person seems very knowledgeable. They start talking eloquently, and then we find out that they are highly educated. Why are they driving a taxi? After being laid off, they don't know what else to do; they can't do anything. This world often turns people into worthless individuals, but our church wants to turn people into valuable individuals. The greatest value is that you are a person who is constantly being renewed. Do you understand? Constantly being renewed. This world cannot be imitated; do not imitate this world!

Be Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind

All changes start from the heart, so our hearts must be renewed so that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Actually, God's good, acceptable, and perfect will is for us to manage one city, two cities, five cities, or ten cities; God's will is for us to be above and not beneath, to be the head and not the tail; God's will is for us to be managers who can operate and manage, who can, through God's power, mortify the evil deeds of our flesh and become more like Jesus Christ, doing the work of management and governance in God's house.

You may ask, Who do I manage? I tell you, Jesus Christ came into this world, and there will be a thousand years on this earth. What will be managed during that thousand years? The people on earth. There will still be people on earth. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that you need to be renewed in your mind and transformed. Start today by constantly managing yourself, constantly governing yourself, and changing from the heart. Stop coveting those absurd things, and gradually start from small things, renewing little by little, constantly renewing. Is it hard? Yes, it is hard, but it is very joyful. Every time you grow, it brings joy. That's great. If you jump from zero to a hundred all at once, you only rejoice once; but if you rejoice from zero to one, and then rejoice from one to two, then you rejoice a hundred times, which is certainly better than rejoicing once.
