Introduction

Good day to you all. Today, I will be sharing on a topic entitled, And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free! These words were spoken by Jesus. Over the years, I have had a deep sense of concern that many brothers and sisters are unable to overcome this world, and that despite their belief in the Lord, they are wandering in the wilderness.

Recently, I have been studying the Book of Exodus, which is a book about overcoming the world. What is the world? The world is Egypt, and Egypt is the world. This is a very interesting concept.

The Bible mentions a very interesting thing related to horses. Every time I mention Old Horse, people ask, Who is Old Horse? Old Horse is a new concept. In the past, we did not know Old Horse. In fact, Old Horse is a spirit. How did I come to know it? It told me its name was Old Horse during an exorcism. I was puzzled at the time, so I looked it up in the Bible, and I was amazed to find that the word horse is very meaningful.

In Deuteronomy, God told the Israelites not to return to Egypt to buy horses. I was very surprised. Why could they not go back to Egypt to buy horses? Could they buy cows, or donkeys? It was alright to buy cows, donkeys, or camels, but not horses. This is a very interesting phenomenon.

Today, we use the word horse to the fullest extent. Later, I realised that among all the creatures God created, the serpent is the most cunning, and of course, there are also horses. In Journey to the West, Sun Wukong was 弼马温 (bìmǎwēn), who managed the horses in heaven.

This world is a world that causes people to lose their freedom, but the truth of God can set us free. Therefore, the sermons I have preached in the past few years are to help everyone recognise this spiritual truth. Recently, I have had a very strong feeling that a large number of brothers and sisters among us are about to cross Galatians 2:20 in their spiritual height, which is the key to overcoming Old Horse! It is also the key to overcoming the world!

Many contemporary prophets have made prophecies, but we do not know who they are referring to. However, I feel as if they are referring to us. What do the contemporary prophets say? They say that a church will be established, and in this church, there will be people holding torches and riding horses, a large number of people. Today, I want to tell everyone that a large number of pastors will cross Galatians 2:20 in their spiritual height.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20 NIV)

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6:14 NIV)

This is a message of proclaimed victory. Therefore, in the past few years, I have served brothers and sisters, especially some very important pastors among us. I am very clear that these pastors have not overcome this world to some extent, and they are filled with many worldly concepts.

But today, I have great comfort because I know that God is going to do something among us. Many brothers and sisters will cross Galatians 2:20, and when they cross this stage, it will not be a difficult matter. It can enlighten you. I have been anticipating this day for a long time, because that is the truth that truly sets us free.

It would be a tragedy for Christians not to know this truth. If Christians can cross the stage of Galatians 2:20, their ability to fight, the joy in their hearts, and the openness within them will be greatly enhanced.

Freedom and Victory through Truth

Why do I long for this? Because I often feel uncomfortable when I see certain situations. For example, haggling over trivial matters makes me feel uncomfortable. It is all worldly stuff. Where is the truth? There is no truth at all. But they keep being entangled, depressed, and upset. Many people think that they have believed in the Lord, have been saved, and will be free, but they are not.

How can you be free without crossing this stage? The more worldly value systems we have in our hearts, the less freedom we will have; the more things in our hearts are crucified, the more freedom we will have, and that is a kind of victory. I hope that many brothers and sisters among us can be victorious, strike Old Horse, overcome this world, gain freedom, and be filled with the knowledge of God in their understanding.

Recently, there was a sister whom I personally ministered to. She should not have attended our meeting, but through some people I knew, she arrived at the meeting place an hour early. It turned out she had a serious lumbar disease, and her knee joints were very painful. In the restaurant, I began to pray for her, and soon everything loosened up.

Later, for the better spiritual growth of this sister, I arranged for her to do some ministry. As a result, after doing it once or twice, she said it was not possible because she did not have time. I asked, What do you do with your time? She replied, I spend it playing. I can't live without playing! There is always a voice inside her telling her to play. We often have such a voice telling us how fun it is to play! Living like Teacher Liu is so boring! But they don't know how much flavour Teacher Liu has in his life! How wonderful it is to live freely in Jesus Christ, without being disturbed by worldly things! Constantly exerting creativity!

This sister played for two months, and suddenly her lumbar disc herniated. I arranged for a pastor to minister to her, praying with her day and night, and she barely recovered. She told me she was much better, so I wanted her to know more truth, because the truth can set you free! She wrote me a long message saying that she wanted to repent thoroughly. But the next day, her body deteriorated rapidly, and she passed away in the hospital. She just died suddenly.

People live and then die. In the past, I have seen so many examples of people who love to play, love cars, love the world, and do not have the love of God in them. Where there is love for the world, there is no love for God. The two cannot be reconciled. Many people profess to believe in the Lord, but they do not know the truth. Have they gained freedom? No! They feel uncomfortable if they don't play; they feel empty if they do.

In the past, whenever I called my mother, I would hear the sound of Mahjong. Later, she played and played until she developed Alzheimer's disease. I can’t help but lament that Christians and Jews alike have been professing to believe in the Lord for years, including those who crucified Jesus. Isn't that strange?

Professing to believe in the Lord, but crucifying Jesus. Why? Because people are filled with worldly things inside. If someone tells you the truth, they cannot listen to it at all. They think, Can I live with this? People live by worldly things, so why come out of Egypt? Because they are all slaves in Egypt.

So today, as I speak on this topic, I boldly make a prophecy to our brothers and sisters: in the future, there will be a large number of brothers and sisters who will completely come out of the world; a large number who will overcome this world; a large number overcome Old Horse; those brothers and sisters ascending to the spiritual high peak, ascending to the mountain of the Lord, entering the temple of the God of Jacob, beholding His glory, overcoming this world, and gaining freedom.

The Path to Victory in Pursuing Truth

God! Lead us to victory today. God! Lead us to plunder the enemy today. God! Let us strive to ascend to the spiritual high peak, ascend to the mountain of the Lord, enter the temple of the God of Jacob, and move forward continuously in the knowledge of the truth of God until we see your face. God! Let us declare before you today:

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (Galatians 6:14 NIV)

Let no one disturb me, I have completely turned to Jesus Christ. I bear the marks of Jesus Christ on my body, and I will be free through the knowledge of the truth of God. All the dark forces that disturb my emotions and corrupt me must retreat. I will be filled with the knowledge of God in my understanding. In Jesus Christ's name! Amen!

The Background of the Writing of the Gospel of John

The background of the writing of the Gospel of John is a very peculiar thing. You will find that the things written in the Gospel of John are not written in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and Mark. Did John invent another gospel himself? We cannot say that either. For example, the word truth is only mentioned in the Gospel of John. I believe that John began to have an understanding of the word truth when he was writing the Gospel of John. Before that, people had not heard Jesus's words, or did not understand them. For example:

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32 NIV)

This sentence is incomprehensible. So it is not very clear in the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, and Mark. Later, why was the word truth recorded in the Gospel of John? Because John was actually writing the Gospel of John around AD 80 to 90, which was 50 years after the crucifixion of Jesus. At that time, the church in Jerusalem was declining, and many churches were also declining, but many churches that followed the Apostle Paul were still very prosperous.

The Apostle Paul's letters often mention the word truth and pay great attention to it. The Apostle Paul's letters were written in the 60s AD, which was 20 years before the Gospel of John was written, because the Apostle Paul had already been martyred and killed at that time, and John was still alive.

After many years of thinking and exploration, he finally realised what truth is. Therefore, in the Gospel of John, this truth is emphasised again and again. The uniqueness of the Gospel of John is that it writes the gospel truth with more height. It's not just a list of miracles and wonders, but John's exposition of many truths. The Gospel of John pays great attention to the truth. It mentions Jesus's teachings at that time, which Matthew and Mark could not understand. When it came to John's time, he remembered the truth that Jesus spoke.

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32 NIV)

They are all Christians, and they all learn from the same teacher, but some things are not understood due to insufficient awareness. After the church had gone a long way, John saw that Christians were often bound and often had no freedom. The way of Jesus Christ seemed to have no effect. Demons were cast out and then returned, and then cast out again and again, repeating like this again and again! Because people don't overcome!

Therefore, John clearly mentioned the concept of victory in the Gospel of John, the First Epistle of John, and the Book of Revelation. Today, the concept of victory we inherit comes from the Apostle Paul, and was later confirmed in the Book of Revelation written by John.

So victory is the key! So what does victory overcome? Victory is overcoming the dark powers of the world, reaching Galatians 2:20. Rick Joyner, the author of The Final Quest, is a contemporary prophet. According to his description, there have not been many Christians throughout the ages who have ascended to such spiritual heights. This is a tragedy! People who do not ascend to the spiritual high mountain , will not have a good days in below .

In addition, John read many of Paul's epistles and gained a deeper understanding of them, deeply influenced by Paul's concept of victory. Therefore, the truth that Paul spoke also reminded John of the truth that Jesus had once spoken. It is said that John lived to be over a hundred years old. He personally saw that Peter and James's circumcision and observance of the law in the Jerusalem church could not set people free, nor could the Pentateuch effectively release people.

Sometimes the bondage brought by legalism is still quite deep. Several years ago, a leader who had led the healing liberation exorcism movement in Singapore, that is, the charismatic movement, mentioned to me that exorcism is useless. After the demons are cast out, they come back again, and after they are cast out again, they come back again. I deeply understand his troubles, but at the same time I also deeply know that we are not very clear about how to implement it. If exorcism is useless, why did Jesus cast out demons?

Later, I felt that we must recognise the truth in our understanding. Truth is understanding. For example, speaking in tongues in prayer. None of us can understand what truth that is, because truth cannot be a list of sounds. It is useless! Truth must be something that everyone can understand, but whether they believe it is another matter.

John also faced the same problem at that time, and remembered the teachings of Jesus Christ: Only the truth can set us free. Today, brothers and sisters, whether you are sick and then get well, and then get sick again; whether you are released after praying, and then pray again after being released, this will waste a lot of time, including the pastor's time. But I want to give you a suggestion, do you want to continue suffering the consequences here, how much suffering do you have to suffer in order to gain the truth?

Therefore, today I encourage everyone to receive the words of Jesus Christ and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free! This word will is too powerful! It is not saying that the truth sometimes sets you free and sometimes does not set you free. Healing and deliverance can temporarily set you free, but the truth can set you free for a long time!

Scripture Background

In the seventh chapter of the Gospel of John, John subtly satirises Jesus's brothers, including James, the elder of the Jerusalem church. John lived a long time and understood a lot, and finally summarised his experience of belief and wrote it down.

Jesus' brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples there may see the works you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret; since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.” For even his own brothers did not believe in him. (John 7:3-5 NIV)

We are very strange, how can we see the miracles performed by Jesus, the lame walking, the blind seeing, the dead rising from the dead, all those who came to Jesus were healed. Jesus's reputation spread throughout the world at that time. According to today's words, he was the hottest person on the internet. Such a person was around him, often performing some miracles, and a normal reaction would be to exclaim Wow in exclamation, But Jesus's brothers did not believe it.

Jesus told his brothers that his time had not yet come, so he went to Jerusalem for the festival himself. During the festival in Jerusalem, the Jews wanted to kill Jesus. Jesus talked to the Jews who wanted to kill him about a very interesting topic, whether they were descendants of Abraham or descendants of Satan. The words Jesus said to them were very heavy.

The Opposition between Truth and the World

These Jews said that they believed in God and were children of God, and their Father was God. Jesus said that they were not at all. Their ancestor was the devil. Because these people were very strange, they did not accept the truth that Jesus was speaking to them, but they accepted what was not the truth. Moreover, Jesus was the incarnate God who appeared to them. They called themselves children of God, but when that God really came, they did not accept him. This is very strange!

Will Christians today have the same situation? Of course! Why won't you accept the truth of Jesus Christ? I tell you, people are filled with a worldly system of logic, and they have their own set of things inside. They are all talking about their own principles. Among the colleagues I serve, there are so many who use principles, and there are many reasons. They don't even think about their spiritual level. I am too lazy to argue with them.

People need to know that their height is not enough, and their reasons are not necessarily correct. So people must seek humility and seek truth! Which one is the truth and which one sets us free? It feels like people are strangling each other's necks and pulling each other's hair in their words, and so does the person they are pastoring. No matter who it is, you will do this as long as you don't agree with your principles. If you meet Jesus one day, will you do this too? How stupid these people are!

When Jesus incarnated and appeared to us, we crucified Him – that is self-righteousness! Thinking we are children of God, thinking we have the truth, but inside we are filled with worldly logic. Even Old Ma deceived people this way, and they still think they are Christians.

So, John witnessed the bizarre scene of Paul being besieged by Jewish Christians in Jerusalem. How much did Paul uphold the truth! Yet, when he arrived in Jerusalem, he was still besieged by Jewish Christians, and later even arrested and imprisoned, eventually being escorted to the Roman Empire for trial. How bizarre!

At this time, John understood Jesus' words: If people do not know the truth and are filled with worldly systems, they profess to believe in the Lord, think they know God, but they crucify Jesus and arrest the Apostle Paul to kill him. We should pat our chests and ask ourselves, if we met Jesus, which one would we be? If you are filled with a worldly logical system, you cannot accept the truth when Jesus speaks to you, and you will crucify Him.

Was Jesus the Christ at that time? People were waiting for the Christ, and their hearts were filled with confusion. These unbelievers did not believe that Jesus' words were the truth based on the truth, and even believers had their own confusion. Believers asked if the miracles performed by the Christ when He came would surpass those of Jesus? No! Then I will believe in Jesus! This approach is not so effective. The miracles you see Jesus perform are unprecedented and unmatched!

These believers also need to believe in what Jesus Christ said because of what Jesus did. In the end, only the truth can set them free, and unbelievers are even more confused! Can a prophet come from Galilee? They all discussed it according to the flesh and outward appearance. These people grabbed a woman caught in adultery to test Jesus. If Jesus said to stone her to death, He would violate the truth of Jesus and be false; if He did not stone her to death, He would violate the Law of Moses.

Jesus threw the question back to them, letting them decide for themselves whether they were qualified to throw the first stone at the woman. As a result, they all left. The conversation between Jesus and the Jews was filled with two things: Jesus said I am not of this world, I am from above; you are of this world, from below. High and low immediately came out, meaning I am of God, and you are of the devil!

The Opposition Between Truth and the Worldly

Today we should talk about one thing: Are we Christians of the world or not of the world? Jesus only discussed one thing: whether or not it is of the world. In fact, in the history of Christianity, when the Apostle John was old, the Gospel of John, 1 John, and Revelation he wrote were all gospels that overcome the world. Only by overcoming this world and knowing the truth of God can we be called Christians. It is not enough to be baptized and be under the Lord's name to be a Christian, even those Christians who crucified Jesus were baptized.

I tell you, if Jesus really incarnated and came before us, telling us the truth of God, we may not be able to accept it. Today I encourage everyone to seek well, don't mess it up, only the truth of Jesus Christ can set us free, not healing and deliverance that sets us free. Healing and deliverance are only a means, true freedom must be to be fully cognisant of the truth of God in our intellect, and be clear in our understanding!

Chapter 8 mainly talks about knowing the truth and being set free! This was said to the Jews! In Chapter 9, Jesus made the man who was born blind see. As a result, the Jews grabbed the blind man to test Jesus' miracles and see if Jesus really performed miracles. Those Jews still did not believe what the blind man told them. Jesus was clearly standing in front of those Jews, but they could not see.

Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.” (John 9:39 NIV)

We must know that those who do not know God cannot be free. Why would those people be so excited, so emotional, and want to crucify Jesus? To put the guilt of shedding Jesus' blood on themselves and their descendants? This is a very strange thing! Striving to have the curse come upon themselves. Not knowing the truth, relying only on superficial phenomena, and still being very excited and excited, who are these if not children of the devil?

Resisting God's only begotten Son – Jesus Christ incarnate, how great the ability is, the ability to kill the Apostle Paul is so great, but healing and deliverance are of no use at all! There is no way to release those who are born blind and lame. If people have nothing but think they have, they are deceiving themselves. In the people I have served in the past, Christians are the most difficult to serve, the corruption brought about by Christian self-righteousness is very serious.

If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. (Galatians 6:3)

It is fatal for people to think they have when they do not. If you don't have it, seek it well, but if you say you have it when you don't, what will happen in the end? That is, crucifying Jesus. Therefore, brothers and sisters, from today on, re-examine yourselves, self-righteousness is definitely not the solution to the problem. Old Ma will never let people go, only those who overcome can step Old Ma under their feet, and Old Ma will not dare to mess with you. Today we begin to examine ourselves, do we really know the truth? Have we really sought it?

If I arrange a ministry job for you, you say you don't have time. You have time to die but not time to live, time to play but not time to do serious things, time to chat nonsense but not time to read God's word. In the end, it's no joke to be captured by Old Ma. Thank God, as long as people repent, even if the body is killed, the soul can still be saved. I desperately want everyone to be saved, so brothers and sisters, don't do such risky things, the safest thing is to seek God well.

The Essence of Truth and Spiritual Freedom

Doesn’t it mean that knowing the truth will set you free? Then what is the truth? “The truth” is quite a big topic. Many people are exploring what the truth is. Today I tell you that the truth that Jesus conveyed is definitely not the truth of this world in this life. What Jesus conveyed is the eternal truth in the spiritual world. For example, when Jesus was sent to Pilate, because these Jews were qualified to judge people, but not qualified to sentence Jesus to death, when they arrived at Pilate's place, Pilate had a dialogue with Jesus, and Jesus said, “For this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth.”

Pilate was a high-ranking official in charge of the entire Jewish region, with power and wealth concentrated on him. He had the final say in that place, but Pilate lived a hard life and was not free at all. In the worldly logical system, how can you live freely under the control of Old Ma, just like being a slave in Egypt. There is a saying that people in the arena cannot help themselves, and people have no way to live out the way they originally wanted to live. People live for fame, profit and status, and as a result, they don’t live freely and happily at all. Without God, how complicated would life be! Pilate made a sigh: “What is truth?

What exactly is life all about? Jesus' truth makes this matter clear: It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing, but people always disbelieve. Our flesh is like the outer shell of a car, and our spirit inside is like a driver. The driver runs red lights, but the car is the one that gets the ticket. Who can you reason with? We must know that the spirit determines many things. A person who is controlled and bound by evil spirits is often not free. Why are they controlled? It is because they want to live well. But this thing is so evil, the more you want to live well and enjoy, the worse you live.

For example, when we are unhappy, we go to eat, drink, and have fun, thinking that this will make us happy, but after returning, we feel even more empty and uncomfortable, but if you create according to God's Word and really do something, then you will really be very happy. Therefore, the path I am leading everyone on is to do meaningful and valuable things, not to eat, drink, and have fun. Eating, drinking, and having fun is meaningless. Some of us are rich. When we are uncomfortable, we pack our suitcases and go travelling. When we come back from travelling, we are still uncomfortable and empty. We were empty before the trip, and we are still empty after the trip. Why? Because you don’t know the truth! People listen to Old Ma’s lies about eating, drinking, and having fun. You must make a choice between truth and lies. The path that Jesus has opened up for us is a path of freedom, a path of joy. The truth of the truth is what is the essence of life.

Therefore, today we must walk the path of victory that Jesus Christ has opened up for us, and crucify our fleshly lusts and desires on this cross together. Then declare to the world: As far as this world is concerned, I have been crucified on this cross; as far as I am concerned, this world has been crucified on the cross. We are already in two completely different worlds. I want to come out of the world. I don't want to be controlled by this world, or to be a slave in this world. Even death cannot separate us from the love of God. Because the life and death that Jesus Christ speaks of are already different from the life and death that the Jews speak of. The life and death that the Jews speak of are the life and death of the flesh, Jesus Christ speaks of the life and death of the spirit.

The death of the spirit is separation between human’s spirit and God. So, what is the living truth? It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. Don't seek the pleasures of the flesh. Seeking them will only lead to tragedy and entanglement. What is the truth? In every Sunday sermon, I am constantly destroying worldly dreams and constantly destroying worldly logical systems. The truth is the logical system of God, the concepts of God. God is Spirit, so we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Brothers and sisters, do you think this is edible? Not only can it be eaten, but it can also be eaten very well, because we live according to the truth, and the truth will set us free, and nothing can disturb us anymore.

If your emotions are often unstable, it is because the worldly logical system is too strong. Your emotions often rise up because of a little thing, and you like to reason with people, but what you are talking about is all worldly reason. But if we come out of the worldly logical system and start talking about the logical system of God, that will get you the victory. How difficult is it to know the truth of God? It's not difficult at all. As long as you are willing to seek, God will surely reveal it to you, and God will surely lead you onto this path of victory, because that is God's will.

Come Out of This World

Genesis records that God is a creating God. We have God's image on us, and we are also creative people, but we cannot create anymore, because we are slaves in Egypt, slaves in this world, and controlled in this world, so we cannot live out the image of God's creation. We live like slaves, without power, dignity, or glory, only sadness and tragedy. When we come out of Egypt, it is to no longer be slaves, but to gain freedom. In Jesus Christ, gain freedom, and in your intellect, be fully cognition of God, fully cognition of the truth of Jesus Christ, and these spiritual truths will release us to be free.

If we are in the world's logical system, we will live to live, all our thoughts will be to make money, make money to get sick, and spend money to see a doctor after getting sick, and after seeing a doctor, we will suffer, and after spending money, we will desperately make money again. This is what the world says: make money desperately before the age of 60, and spend money desperately after the age of 60. What does this make back? This seems like a very reasonable theory, but it is actually a tragedy. Today, it is God who solves the problem, and the gospel that God gives us is a powerful gospel. Our God is a powerful God, and God has opened up a path of freedom for us.

Freedom in Jesus Christ

We come out of the world, but we cannot exit the world into a state of emptiness and chaos, but to enter into the truth of Jesus Christ, and the truth will set us free. Brothers and sisters, know that our God is the God who makes the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers cleansed, and the dead raised. Today, these great powers that God has given us can solve all our problems. Brothers and sisters, we must come out of the worldly logical system and establish the logical system of truth of Jesus Christ, and know the truth of life. Don't be afraid anymore, because we have the power of God, and there is no problem that cannot be solved through the power of God. We are often deceived by ghosts because the truth inside us is not solid enough and the spiritual height is not high enough.

The Call to Climb Spiritual Peaks

Today a sister told me that she felt like she had COVID-19, and she had all the symptoms of COVID-19. I said this is Old Ma, I take you to pray, and soon Old Ma will be driven out. There are always many voices inside people that want to imprison you in Old Ma's logical system, the worldly logical system. The voice inside you may tell you that living like Jesus and Paul is too boring. But in reality, living like Jesus and Paul is so much fun. Brothers and sisters, today I want to bring you into the truth of Jesus Christ. I desperately want brothers and sisters to be able to discern which are the voices of God and which are the voices of the devil and the enemy.

Today we want to enable the blind to see and begin to see the glory of God and the crown of glory that God has prepared for us in eternity. Climbing spiritual peaks, every time you climb a level, the scenery you see is extremely spectacular and extremely beautiful. Every time you climb a level, the power to strike the devil increases to another level. How interesting it is to live like this. Every day is new, unlike those people who live boring lives and travel around the world, but in fact, all the cities and villages in the world are similar, so what is the point of living like this?

Today, gain freedom in Jesus Christ, climb spiritual peaks in truth, and begin to cross the threshold of the world. As far as the world is concerned, I have been crucified on the cross. As far as I am concerned, this world has been crucified on the cross. Today, the way to solve these problems in the world is in the power of Jesus Christ, and these things will be easily solved. How great is the power of our God, and Jesus Christ wants to give this power and authority to you and me.

To gain this authority that comes from Jesus Christ, all the authority in heaven and on earth belongs to my Lord Jesus Christ, because my Lord Jesus Christ was willing to walk the road of the cross in order to gain authority, and He was willing to walk this road of victory, thus His living became very simple. Jesus Christ rose from the dead and overcame the power of the underworld.
