Introduction

Good day to all. I am very pleased to delve into the Book of Leviticus with you again. Before studying Leviticus, I received a very clear revelation in prayer, that Leviticus would bring liberation to many. Now, how exactly can Leviticus bring liberation to people? This is beyond my imagination, as I have never fully understood Leviticus in all these years. I didn't know what Leviticus was trying to convey. But since we have reached Leviticus Chapter 21, what should we name this Bible study book on Leviticus? This is something for everyone to ponder.

You can look at the table of contents of the Leviticus Bible study. Each chapter speaks of matters closely related to holiness and sin. On the surface, who is Leviticus written for? It's written for the priests. Who is Deuteronomy written for? It’s written for the people of Israel. Today when we read Leviticus and Deuteronomy, we find that they are actually written for Christians.

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, these five books are called the Pentateuch. The beginning of Christianity originates in Genesis. In fact, whether it is Christianity or Judaism, it was all within the body of Abraham at that time.

Christians are to be Priests Who are Above, Not Beneath

The matters Leviticus and Deuteronomy speak of are closely related to the illnesses we experience today. Where do our illnesses come from? Our illnesses are all related to unholiness. I have found in my ministry that it is more difficult to treat and pray for Christians who are sick, but it seems easier for non-believers to be healed. Why is this? Because although God has given us many blessings, Christians still knowingly commit sins.

Therefore, when we carefully read Leviticus Chapter 21, we will find that God raises the requirements. Because we are priests of the Lord God, priests are set apart to God as holy, so we must be holy. Priests are to offer God’s food, so we must be holy. Compared to the previous chapter, the previous chapter actually spoke about how priests should deal with the people of Israel, and now Chapter 21 begins to speak about the priests:

They shall not defile themselves as chiefs among their people, and so profane themselves. (Leviticus 21:4)

If you were to ask me to give this chapter a title, the theme of this chapter's Bible study would be God has a Higher Requirement for Priests. If you see this and say, Since this is the case, then let's not be priests, then I ask you, do you want to be chiefs among the people? Speaking of being chiefs among the people, it is as if Jesus' disciples gathered together, arguing until their faces turned red, this is my conjecture. Arguing about what? Arguing about who is the greatest.

What are we competing for when we work in the world? We are competing for who has the higher salary. You say, Wouldn't giving you some money solve the problem? Then if I ask you to do the lowest-level job, would you want it? Many people wouldn't want it. Some people are very serious in the workplace, fighting fiercely. Why? No one wants to work at the bottom. Do you want to be at the bottom? Do you want to stay at the bottom? If you are at the bottom, anyone can order you around. Go, pour me a glass of water! Go, wash my feet! Oh, just thinking about it makes one feel uncomfortable.

Why is there so much infighting in the workplace all day long? Because it is a single-log bridge with thousands of soldiers and horses trying to cross it; everyone wants to climb up. Sometimes the work one does is done with the fear of having their position stolen; in the company, one fears that their resources will be taken away. If it is a seller's market, when resources are scarce, things are easy to sell, but there is nothing to sell. If things are in demand and easy to sell, if you can get the goods, then you are powerful, getting the goods is equivalent to making money.

When everyone is scrambling for houses, do you have a source of houses? When houses are everywhere, everyone doesn't want to buy houses, and as a result, the houses rot in their hands. It is easy to get houses, but if the customers are gone, then the customers become a scarce resource, and then they compete to grab customers. One's whole life is spent grabbing, if not this, then that. Tell me, how tiring is this life! Having customers but no source of goods, having a source of goods but no customers, the difficulty of doing business lies in this. If the resources are all in your hands, the customers are also in your hands, and the source of goods is also in your hands, then you are powerful. If the resources are all in your hands, within the company you can mobilize a lot of resources. I ask you, what is your annual salary at that time? The annual salary would be millions, or even tens of millions.

But here comes the problem, you have to be able to do those jobs; you have to be at the top! If you can't do those jobs, if you can't meet the requirements of others, then what are you doing? Are you there to be stepped on? It's useless. If people want to go up, the pressure is still quite great. But, wanting to go up but not wanting to go down, going up puts a lot of pressure, what should one do? Now we have said that the priest is the chief among the people; do you want to be above and not beneath? Yes, can the requirements be a little higher? No. Then why are you above and others below? Why?

Therefore, can we tell ourselves that I am a person who is above and not beneath. Being above is definitely better than being below. What are you doing staying below? Some people will say, The requirements are too high above! High requirements are okay, it's better than being below. Below, you are being required by others; above, you are requiring others. Of course, even above, there are people who require us.

So we only have one heart, what is this heart? It is to be above and not beneath. We cannot be losers, because losers are below all people. I have received God's blessing, but I am still below all people, this sounds upsetting, how tiring that is. Therefore, being above all the people in the world, although the pressure is great, the pressure is less than the pressure of many people stepping on us.

Everyone should know that being above all the people in the world, the pressure will be less than the pressure below. Why? Because there are not many people above you. Being above is good! If we earn ten years' worth of someone else's money in one year, then we can rest for nine years after earning one year; if we earn a lifetime's worth of someone else's money in one year, we earn it in one year, and we don't have to earn money for the rest of our lives. Therefore, of course, being above is better.

But some people are quite muddled, especially some loser pastors who preach things that sound strange. I like to be above, I don't like to be below. There are also some people among us who have very good names, named Above. No matter who gave him this name, I think it must be after listening to my sermons too much. Above means to be above and not beneath. If we gave a Japanese name, it could be called Above Not Beneath, how great!

Brothers and sisters must know that we have never felt that being below is good. Have you ever experienced the life of the very grassroots working class? That is eighty percent of the people抢夺 twenty percent of the resources. Have you heard of it? Twenty percent of the wealthy people in the world occupy eighty percent of the resources. As a result, eighty percent of the people are still scrambling for the remaining twenty percent of the resources.

Oh my, with only twenty percent of the resources left, everyone is still scrambling, the scramble is so intense! It's upsetting to watch. We are not even considered to be in that class of the working class. If you go to those places, you will see how intense it is. There is a Chinese saying: Poor mountains and wicked waters breed bad people. Everyone must not think that poor mountains and wicked waters breed good people; people in those places are all frantically抢夺. Why? There are too few resources, everyone is hungry.

Anyway, in China, I don't like to go to poor places, I like to go to wealthy places like Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shenzhen. People in wealthy places are at least not so恶, because everyone has money. In Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Hangzhou, the locals are all millionaires; people are not so恶. I have said so much to express that God wants us to be above and not beneath, do you want it or not? If you want it, then the requirements are also high.

There is a混蛋 pastor who said, You cannot be many teachers. Why? Because those who are many teachers will receive a stricter judgment. I feel that this is not good. God said that if I love God, I must shepherd His flock. If I don't be a teacher, how can I shepherd the flock? I like to be a teacher, and I also like to shepherd God's flock.

God has high requirements for me. Don't think that God doesn't care about me. I have many traces of sin, traces of discipline on my body. When God gives a whip, the traces will remain forever. I know what I did wrong, I know it very well. People ask me what happened, those are the marks of sin. We don't need to save face, because you can't hide it even if you want to. To be honest, if it weren't for God's discipline, I would have gone to heaven long ago.

Three days without beating, and you'll lift the roof tiles. Therefore, we must be honest and do well. Even if the requirements are high, we have to want it! Aren't we to be above and not beneath? I don't want to stay below, I like to go above, I want to be above all the people in the world. Priests are the chiefs among the people, so they should be subject to stricter discipline and stricter requirements. Therefore, I said, Okay! Come on, let's do it this way. Brothers and sisters among us, don't just think about the high requirements. If you want to be the chief among the people, it is normal to be disciplined. Is it okay if God doesn't care? It would be a problem if He didn't care, so we must not listen to nonsense.

There was a sister who came from another church, and I encouraged her to get up and serve. She said, That won't work. I said, Why won't it work? She said, My previous pastor said that one cannot be many teachers, because one would receive a stricter judgment. What nonsense is this! Is God trying to make us receive punishment? God actually wants us to live a more holy life. Later, it took me a lot of effort to change the things in that person's head. Some people preach the way of being below and not above, and some people preach the way of being above and not beneath. You have to open your eyes and choose carefully.

Some people specialize in preaching the way of being below and not above. As a result, the more this preacher preaches, the poorer he becomes. To what extent? I have met some poor preachers, and I can't wait to give them some of my money, but I found that I can't give it, I can't help in this way. Why? Because the person's mind is very poor. When they open their mouths to speak, they are all speaking the words of a poor person. Do you say they do not love money? They love it to death. It is very hard to be without money, but they still pretend to be very spiritual. As soon as they study the Bible, they say: Woe to you rich people! What's wrong with rich people? I won't hate rich people for no reason. In fact, among the wealthy, there are many spiritual people who love God.

I know that there are some very wealthy people among us who love God very much. No matter how busy they are, they squeeze out time to serve God. One brother told me that he served a certain brother for one and a half hours in the morning. I think he can't finish his work, but he still takes out one and a half hours to serve. I am very touched in my heart. To what extent am I touched? Sometimes, I can't wait to help him with some work. I'm not joking, but I can't help. What do I want to say? Don't think that being above is not good, you must know that being below is not good. Being a priest is definitely better than being a commoner, because God makes us priests, the chiefs among the people of Israel.

I encourage everyone to start longing to become priests, even if the requirements are a bit high, it doesn't matter. Since we have become Christians, let's be the best Christians. Hearing this feels very empowering. If we are to be Christians, let us be outstanding Christians. Make up your mind,咔一下, clench your fists, grit your teeth, stomp your feet, and you have to be an outstanding Christian. What pressure or no pressure, even if the requirements are high, it doesn't matter.

No matter how you are today, Chinese Mingding Destiny speaks of a victorious theology. We are not afraid of difficulties, we are not afraid of challenges, and we are not afraid of high requirements, we are only afraid of being stepped on. God likes this kind of person. Since God likes it, then let's go! Let's all go together, how empowering this is! It sounds full of faith!

Whenever I think of the future, wow, there is a crown of glory reserved for me in heaven. Whenever I think of the future, God will call us faithful and good servants. Whenever I think of the future, God will assign us to manage ten cities, not ten companies, but ten cities. That's amazing! Even if it's only five cities, that's fine! If you can't manage things in the world well, can you manage things in heaven? So, you have to train yourself!

Doesn't Ecclesiastes say that the world is the best exam? Since it is an exam, we must do very well in the exam. If we are to write an essay, we will write a good essay, get a good score in the college entrance examination, and be a good lawyer if we are to be a lawyer. Of course, all of this is still to please God. Can't God help us? He definitely can.

The Few Things a Priest Must Handle: Death, Marriage, and Disability

God's demands are high, but let's accept it. Whether I like it or not, since this office has been entrusted to me, I will do it well. If we fight the devil, let's fight a big one. When the devil has a birthday, I will loot its birthday gifts. We are all heroes of Liangshan; why should we care about it?

We must recognize a few things about being a priest: the first is death. Do you know how a dead person contaminates oneself? The matter of the dead is quite troubling. For example, if your good friend dies, God does not allow you to touch them if you are a priest, as touching them contaminates you. How does it contaminate you? We don't know what happens to the dead, we can't see it, but everyone should know that death is a very spiritual matter. When a person's physical body dies, what happens in the spiritual realm? The spirit of death fills the area around the dead body.

Our God says, Do not defile yourselves for the dead among your people. What is the reason? The reason is that there are many spirits of death around the dead. Suppose you say, what if it is your close relatives, parents, children, siblings, or unmarried virgin sisters? God has granted us a favor. If the dead are close relatives, it is okay for us to touch them. Why? If you don't do it, who will? It doesn't matter if family members die and there are spirits of death; we have to handle these matters.

The priest must be a leader among the people, not like ordinary people. Can our brothers and sisters raise the requirements to a higher level? If the priest cannot see through life and death, what are you doing? If the preacher cannot see through life and death, what are you preaching? Therefore, once our brothers and sisters see through life and death, all things become easier to solve. Because after seeing through, we will say, I want to serve my God, I want to walk a higher path of holiness.

You will find that Chinese funerals are very grand. The grandness of Chinese funerals is actually quite spiritual, because that is the custom of this world. Everyone must know that the customs of this world include several very important links: one is the birth of a child, and the other is the death of a person. People like to celebrate these things.

Some time ago, there was a very troublesome person who liked the customs of this world. After a child was born for a hundred days, he held a banquet. One person got drunk, fell down the stairs, and died. As a result, he paid others 100,000 yuan for no reason. So our brothers and sisters must know that the things of this world's customs are very powerful.

All who serve God must be holy to God, do not follow the customs of this world, nor profane the name of our God. Do not shave the corners of your beards, do not make the head bald, nor make cuttings in the flesh with a knife. These are closely related to the spiritual realm. Speaking of making cuttings in the flesh with a knife, I don't know if this matter is related to tattoos.

A sister had a tattoo of a dragon on her ankle, and later this sister was very unlucky in everything she did. That day she was sitting across from me, and her mother was also present. When we were chatting, I saw the dragon tattooed on her leg suddenly become three-dimensional. I saw a dragon wagging its tail there. I said, Heavens, this thing attracts ghosts! How could she live well with this dragon on her body? I don't know if cutting the body with a knife is tattooing, but I just want to say that this matter is very spiritual.

The second thing is that you cannot marry a prostitute, a defiled woman, or a divorced woman. Marriage is a very spiritual matter. Do you know why you can't marry these kinds of women? Let me give you an account: the requirements for priests are already high, but people are very carnal.

For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. (Romans 7:18)

Carnal things are difficult to control. What happens? Something goes wrong as soon as you get married. If you know a little bit, you will find that it is very difficult for a married man to be a pastor. There is a God above, and there is also a boss next to him, and there are several superiors. If he has children, the wife is the superior, the children are the superiors, and God is also the superior. He doesn’t know who to serve. It's difficult!

Everyone must understand that marrying a certain type of person is closely related to holiness. People have spirits on them. Of course, this is what I said; it doesn't matter if you disagree. People have spirits on them. When you marry them home, you are not just marrying a woman, but also many evil spirits on her. Then, when you two become one, these spirits will come to control and dominate you. So, marriage is a very spiritual thing.

Of course, our sisters don’t have to worry. Since we live in eternity, gender is not a very important thing, because there is no gender issue in heaven. If people have evil spirits on them, these things will inexplicably affect you. The relationship between husband and wife is a very close relationship. Therefore, evil spirits harm people through marriage.

Think about it, you live in this world carrying thirty ancestors and your own flesh, and you marry a wife who also carries many evil spirits. For example, how many curses a prostitute carries, she will carry that many evil spirits. How can you live this life? Therefore, this is a very spiritual matter.

If you look at it with carnal eyes, you will not understand it. For example, a divorced woman, if you want to marry her to be a hero to save the beauty, you will be disturbed by many evil spirits. For example, this Solomon, he thought he was very powerful and had many concubines in his three palaces and six courtyards, but he really couldn't resist it. Therefore, brothers and sisters must know that marriage is a very spiritual matter.

If a priest’s daughter profanes herself by whoring, she profanes her father; she shall be burned with fire. (Leviticus 21:9)

Recently, I realized something. The song Exploring the Clear Water River sings about a girl with a beautiful face, only sixteen years old. She was thinking, if youth passes, where can I find a young man? As a result, she came up with a Sixth Brother. A child is only sixteen years old and starts doing this. What will happen when she grows up? Later, her parents took a leather whip dipped in water to whip her, and she jumped into the river.

So, raising a daughter is not easy. Once a daughter's lust erupts, she will not be able to control it, and then she will jump into the Clear Water River. After this girl jumped, this Sixth Brother was controlled by evil spirits and also jumped into the river. Finally, this story was written into a ditty called Exploring the Clear Water River.

Therefore, the priest's daughter committing adultery has evil spirits behind it. Burning with fire, you say how cruel this is! The rules set by God are very serious! Then you say, can't you burn her? I don’t know about this. Therefore, whether you are a priest or not, since you have received the sacred office and put on the sacred robes, you must know one thing: the matter of the dead, touching dead bodies is absolutely not allowed.

The requirements for the high priest are even higher. The matter of the dead is not allowed, not even for one's own parents. Therefore, everyone must know that some people are forensic doctors or police officers, dealing with the spiritual realm every day. This is not an easy task! Getting married, having children, and dealing with the dead are all very spiritual matters. It is easy to corrupt yourself, and it is also easy to be defiled. This is quite fatal.

There are also disabled people among the descendants of the priests. How did that come about? The priests who gave birth to disabled people cannot come near. Although they can eat the sacrificial offerings, they cannot offer the sacrifices to God. Why? It is because the people in front defiled themselves, and the descendants became like this as a result. Although it was all the fault of the parents, we don't have the final say. Since you have come into this world, you must know the spiritual things in this world.

Disability is definitely not a good thing. Everyone thinks that they should be more compassionate to the disabled, but in fact, they should offer sacrifices to Jehovah even more! But God did not say that. Why? Because these people offering sacrifices would defile God, but they can eat the sacrificial food. Therefore, today we have no choice but to embark on the path of holiness. May we continue to improve on this path of holiness and continue to climb upward. In this process of continuous upward climbing, God's requirements will continue to increase, and then we can live a more holy life.

Today, brothers and sisters, slowly ponder. In fact, ordinary people know that if many families have children with disabilities, it is related to the defilement of their ancestors. Not to mention priests, even among us who do not believe in the Lord, spiritual laws still operate in the same way. Don't think that if you don't believe in the Lord and don't be a priest, the requirements are not high, so you can do this today and that tomorrow, and defile yourself everywhere.

God clearly says that if you become a priest, you are the leader among the people of the world. Some people say: Wouldn't it be better not to be the leader? It's not better not to be the leader, because the spirit of death still operates in that place, and evil spirits still operate through these things. Therefore, we must use our spiritual eyes to see. When we open our spiritual eyes, we will see the truth of these spiritual realms, and we will know what is going on.

Conclusion: Strive to Pursue a Holy Life and Take on the Priestly Office Entrusted to Us by God

Today God has abundant mercy and grace. Jesus died on the cross to bear our curses. Since we have come into this world, we are determined to live a holy life. The past things, the blood of Jesus easily blots out. This is good news. Let us accept it. Although we cannot do it all at once, we will strive for it throughout our lives. Climb up on the level where you are, and climb up a little more. As long as you keep climbing up, wouldn't it be good slowly?

It is hard to live, and it is joyful to live. Today, we tell the evil spirits inside us that you are already illegal in my body. No matter which generation this evil spirit was defiled by, today it has become an illegal resident in our body, and we must drive it out in the name of Jesus Christ.

We will do what we want to do, and we will not do what we don't want to do. Doing what we want to do but cannot do it, doing what we don't want to do instead, that is the bad deeds of evil spirits, passed down from generation to generation. So isn't this good news? Kill the evil spirits step by step, and we can be the head among the nations, be above and not below among the people, be priests of the living God, so as to manifest God's glory in this world.

It doesn't matter if you suffer a little bit, it doesn't matter if it is a little hard to put the flesh to death, even if you eat less and drink less, it doesn't matter. Start to take on the office that God has given us, and obtain His glory in this world. Many people on this earth will be blessed because of us. In this way, we have become priests who offer sacrifices to God. Many people on earth who live in curses and live in oppression have also become the objects of our service, and God's glory will be manifested through us!

Brothers and sisters, may God bless you to be above and not below, so that you can be continuously strengthened by God's grace, continuously move forward, and evil spirits will be driven out of you sooner or later. This is great news.
