Introduction

Good day to everyone. We are here to share Lesson 8, Above the Spiritual Peak is the Temple of God, from Course 101, 2nd Edition. In previous lessons, we have quoted extensively from the scriptures to explain that a person's life is ultimately related to God's church. Why God's church? Because above the spiritual peak is the Temple of God. And the Temple of God is the Church of God, so God's Church is the Temple of God. If you believe you are the Temple of God, I suggest you read the Bible carefully. If you are alone, leading your family across the Jordan River, and telling the people of Jericho that you are going to take the Promised Land, you may be chased away by the people of Jericho the next day. So, this is not the solution.

Even today, if we pay a little attention to the news in the world, you will find that the military is a very important concept. So, I come straight to the point: the church is God's army, and the Kingdom of God is opposed to the kingdom of the devil. If there is an adversarial situation, there must be a relationship of war between countries. What is a relationship of war? It means that as long as there is a country, there must be an army. Are there any countries in the world without an army? It seems so, but basically, they are not real countries. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that above the spiritual peak is the Temple of God, and we must know what the Temple of God is for. We must climb the spiritual peak and fight all the way against the devil, and at the top of the mountain is the Temple of God, which is the Church of God.

The Church of God will put all things under its feet, so building God's glorious church is such a glorious thing. In the Temple of God, filled with the glory of God, will there still be demons? Absolutely not; demons cannot enter the Temple of God at all. The Temple of God only casts out demons. Although there are no demons in the Temple of God, we can cast out demons from very far away. If you come to the Temple of God, climb the spiritual peak, and become someone who builds the church, the glory of God will flow from you inside and out. At this time, you need a cloak of humility.

We Need to Understand God's Plan

To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord (Ephesians 3:10-11).

We have always thought that being baptized means being saved by grace, and that we can go to heaven when we die. But this is not God's plan at all. So, what is God's plan? God's plan is far beyond what we can imagine. God dwells in His temple, and His temple is the church, and the church is the Temple of God. So, to understand God's plan, we need to read the Bible carefully. We need to know that God revealed these mysteries to the Apostle Paul, and then through the letters written by the Apostle Paul, revealed them to us in this generation. So, God is through the Church, not through someone going to the mountains to cultivate because personal cultivation is of no use. If you have read the Book of Ephesians, you must know that Ephesians is a book about building the Church.

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all (Ephesians 1:17-23).

The Apostle Paul's view of the church is very strong. So, all the letters written by the Apostle Paul are about building the church, and they are definitely not about personal cultivation. In fact, if you read through the entire Bible a little, you will find that God's plan is accomplished through the church. God will build His church on the rock of Jesus Christ, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. So, brothers and sisters, you must know that the church is the body of Jesus Christ, the fulness of him that filleth all in all, and that Jesus Christ is the head over all things to the church. He has put all things under the feet of Jesus Christ, which is under the feet of the church, for the sake of the church. If the church is above the spiritual peak, then the church is the Temple of God, and all things are under the feet of the church, and He is in the highest place. So, we need to know God's plan. Throughout the ages, the concept of the church has been constantly diluted.

I have been a believer for so many years, and I have rarely heard the concept that the church is God's army, rarely heard that the church should fight a good spiritual battle, and rarely seen a church that does healing and deliverance as well as our church. Maybe there are, but I may not know. We know the mysteries of God according to God's will, not to promote personal salvation, but to promote the building of God's glorious church, because the church is the Temple of God. So, in the last days, people will ascend the mountain of the Lord and enter the Temple of the God of Jacob. This means that as we climb spiritual truth and climb higher on the spiritual peak, the power to strike the devil will be greater. Of course, the demons that come will be more powerful, but no matter how powerful the demons are, they cannot overcome you, because God is the God who gives me victory.

We must understand God's plan. God's plan is not our personal salvation, but a group of saved people building His glorious church, doing God's word according to His will, and building God's glorious church together, so that God may make known through us the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places. That is to say, God will receive glory in the church and in Jesus Christ, forever and ever, which completely subverts our concept.

In fact, since Martin Luther, the concept of the church has been weakened, and the concept of personal cultivation has been constantly emphasized. In fact, what we have to do today is to restore the truth of God. During the learning of Course 101, even if you are a new believer, you can set your goals well. Those who are willing to go in this direction, to live out the glorious image of God, let us run together on this road; those who are not willing, you can do whatever you want, but we still have to go this way.

The Church is the Temple of God, and the Mountain of the Lord is the Rock!

I don't tell many stories; it's a bit boring, because you've heard enough stories. If you haven't seen victory, haven't seen healing, haven't seen deliverance among us, that's difficult. Some time ago, many people were receiving deliverance, which is already commonplace among us. So, I won't tell these stories, because after telling them, it seems that our concepts cannot be strengthened too much.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:18-19).

This passage is very important because the church is the Temple of God, and the Mountain of the Lord is the Rock. When we climb the spiritual peak, after we go up, it is the Temple of God, which is the glorious Church of God. The Church of God is perfectly united with God, and God will dwell in His Church, which is a glorious church. In Ephesians, in fact, it speaks a lot about building a glorious church. Today, we use Jesus' definition to build the church. We know how to build the church, but many people want to build the church but don't know what the church is or what the basic work of the church is, and they don't know anything when asked. If you want to keep and follow God's word, you must first learn to obey Jesus' words!

God said that He would build His church on this rock. We may think that the rock is a stone, but it is not. If you have climbed Mount Hua, you will know that the entire Mount Hua is a large stone because there has only been one path up Mount Hua since ancient times. Then you start climbing on the stone and keep going up, which is called climbing Mount Hua. The stone is very solid, and the Church of God is built on the rock of God. When we climb the Mountain of the Lord, that mountain is the rock. This rock is built on the rock of Jesus Christ, and this rock is the truth of Jesus Christ. So, God will build His temple, His church, on this holy mountain. So, in the last days, people will ascend the Mountain of the Lord and enter the Temple of the God of Jacob.

When I read that the glory of this latter temple shall be greater than of the former, I feel very excited. Because I feel that today we have to do one thing, that is, we have to build God's glorious church, we have to work with God and let God use us. The church is built on the rock of Jesus Christ, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. God will give us the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatsoever we shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever we shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Why? Because this is the Temple of God, this is the House of God, and it's God's army.

Until today, there are still many myths about the church, just like some churches say, We don't have the gift to bind, and we don't have the gift to release. They will say, Do you know who the angels are? The angels are the most beautiful! Who are the demons? The demons are the most beautiful angels. What qualifications do you have to fight against the demons? Think about whether what they are saying is standing on the side of the devil or on the side of God. How did a traitor come out of this place? Is this an undercover? Don't have undercovers among us. Then they published a book, and the book is all about speaking for the devil.

We must have a very clear understanding of this matter. The church is holding the keys to the kingdom of heaven. What is bound on earth is bound in heaven, and what is loosed on earth is loosed in heaven. But they said that they don't have this gift, and that God gives this gift to everyone as He pleases. Since God gives gifts as He pleases, why don't you have gifts? Aren't you very unlucky? Do you have the gift of getting the COVID virus and the gift of getting cancer? Are there also gifts for getting other diseases? Why don't you have the gift of building God's glorious church? If you have not entered God's plan, then you are outside God's plan, so you will be very unlucky.

When we do one thing, we must clarify the concept. For example, if we are doing accounting, we must clarify the concept of accounting. If we don't grasp the concept and mess around all day long, being busy for a while on the left and busy for a while on the right, it is of no great use. If we are writing programs, we must clarify the concept of writing programs, and then there will be a guiding ideology. We need to clarify Jesus Christ's definition of the church when we are building the church. The church is picking up the keys to the kingdom of heaven, & the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. If you establish a church and the gates of hell overcome you, what kind of church is this that you have established? You may have built the church on the beach, instead of building the church on the rock. Some people may have forgotten to climb the Mountain of the Lord and instead dug a big pit, and as a result, they dug into hell.

I have seen some surprising situations like this before, but thank God, until today, and even forever, this should not happen among us. What is it? It's cancer. In some churches, people are constantly being diagnosed with cancer and then start to be hospitalized. After a few days, the people with cancer die, and then some people start to panic, worrying about whether they will be the next to get cancer. Is such a church a church that overcomes the power of hell? Definitely not!

So, brothers and sisters, don't be surprised anymore. The church is the Temple of God, the Church is the Mountain of the Lord, the Mountain of the Lord is the Rock, and that Rock is the Truth of God. If we build God's church according to God's word, it is built on that rock, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against us. None of us will get cancer if we don't have cancer, but if we violate God's word and go against God, I can't protect you either.

If you are among us, and have the same Mingding Destiny as us, you will be spared from cancer, because the gates of hell cannot prevail against us. Cancer, COVID, including all diseases and disasters, are all powers of hell. Then they feel that getting sick is also God's grace, and then they pray and thank God that the surgery was very successful. We don't seem to like this kind of talk, because we have never found in the Bible that God uses great and severe plagues and long and lingering sicknesses to trouble a victorious Christian.

So, brothers and sisters, please be kind to yourselves anyway & be sure to keep and follow God's word and get rid of these curses. Many people get cancer and feel that this is God's grace to them. If you think this is grace, then you should keep it well. I don't want it. So, when I meet cancer patients, the first thing I talk about is curses. If he is willing to believe that this is a curse, and then follow me to get out of this curse, then the probability of being healed is 100%. Our God is a God of healing. Why do Christians get sick? Because of curses.

Everyone must know that Deuteronomy 28 is not written to the gentiles, but to those who believe in the Lord, and also to us. God says, If you keep and follow God's words, God will bless you and make you the head, not the tail, and above only, and you shall not be beneath. This chapter never says, If you keep and follow God's words, God will bring long and lingering sickness and great and severe plagues upon you. If you find it, you are probably not reading the Bible. As for what kind of scripture you are reading, I don't know, so you must come out of the myths!

Our life is a spiritual matter, and these things we encounter today are closely related to the powers of hell. If you feel uncomfortable, you can come to me and I will lead you in prayer and you will get well soon. If you are sick, when you come among us and pray, you will be much better. If you continue to pray, you will be completely healed. Because this is the Church of God, the Temple of God, and in the Kingdom of God there is no cancer, no COVID, and no other diseases.

Church is God's Army

Few people will say that the church is God's army. They are all saying, You love me, I love you. But it's a very helpless love! Even if you get cancer, you don't fight a spiritual war, and you don't know how to cast out demons. You just pray to God for a good doctor. Can a good doctor solve the problem of demons? I also find it strange. Do you also pray when you need to do chemotherapy, asking God to have grace on him? I think it's so strange. What kind of prayers are these? I feel that this generation really needs a church that can fight spiritual wars. Because what the church binds on earth is the dark power of hell, and what it releases on earth is the people of God. God clearly states in this place that the Church is built on the Rock of God and that the Church is an army that fights and triumphs.

In fact, I think this generation is full of confusing teachings and confusing phenomena, but these phenomena have reasons. If a person makes an airplane that can't fly, there is a reason for it, but you can't say that the airplane is like this. The church is God's army, which was made very clear in the years of Jesus. The church is God's army, which is also made very clear in Paul's letters. During the years of Jesus, we saw that wherever he cast out demons, the Kingdom of God came, which is a key component of spiritual warfare. The church that he established should do what Jesus Christ did, which is not surprising. If we go back to the years of Moses, when Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt, he said a passage:

Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night to be much observed unto the Lord for bringing them out from the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:40).

It is hard for us to imagine that God brought a group of Israelites who were slaves in Egypt to form an army. So, we must know that the church must be an army, fighting with the devil when climbing the Mountain of the Lord. When you get to the top of the mountain, you have completely crushed the devil, because no one can stand before the victorious Church of God. So, if you read the Old Testament and the New Testament carefully, you will see the army of God. After the Israelites left Egypt, they went directly into the wilderness, and entering the wilderness was for military training! So, everyone must know that you are undergoing training today, and God is training His people. He is training His people so that they can enter the wilderness like the Israelites, prepare themselves for the ability to fight, and go in to possess the Promised Land. If you cannot fight it down, you will not get the Promised Land, so it is important that the church is God's army.

We often hear many churches say that the church is the House of God. Then people constantly emphasize the concept of home, and when they emphasize it, they forget that it is not really their home. They treat their home as the House of God, and they also treat the House of God as their home. Can they fight like this? In fact, your home is your home, and God's house is God's house, and God's house is the Church of God. So, what I want to say is that if you are an elite soldier in God's army, do you have to give up something? That is for sure. After the Israelites left Egypt, they were built into God's army. As soon as the horn was blown, they had to gather together according to their tribes whatever those who could fight, those who could hold knives and guns, and they were all well-trained troops.

If we abandon the concept that the church is God's army, a group of people are talking every day: You love me, I love you. Jesus loves me, and Jesus loves you. In the end, when they get sick and get cancer, they have no tricks. Although it is sweet, you give me a lollipop, and I give you a lollipop, but after giving it, it is over. All you are doing is superficial work. So, it is normal for us to receive a little training and pay a little price. Among us, it is difficult for you to not pay the price. Some people say, I come to every meeting. In fact, attending meetings is a very simple price to pay. Isn't that what it should be? But no country can stand without an army.

The reason why our Chinese nation can become strong is not because of anything else, but because the Chinese army is strong. If your army was like that of the late Qing Dynasty, when the Eight-Nation Alliance entered with thousands of people, as if they had entered an uninhabited place, can you be strong today? You can't be strong. Even if you want to be strong, they can beat you up whenever they want, and they can destroy you if they want. Today's Iraq is like this. It was destroyed because of a bag of washing powder, and no weapons of mass destruction have been found to this day. Of course, some American fans may not like what I said. Of course, I didn't say anything else. I'm just stating the facts, because I have no prejudices.

What I mean is, Iraq has nothing to do with us, nothing to do with China or the United States. What I am saying is that without a strong army, the Kingdom of God cannot be established at all. When demons come to bully you, you have to suffer a bout of cancer or a bout of COVID-19. Today, if we want to build God's army, build God's kingdom, and expand God's kingdom, we must have iron discipline.

Consider this: What is the significance of the price we are paying? When Chiang Kai-shek retreated to Taiwan, he said that the reason for his defeat was that his army was not like the army led by Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong led an army that had undergone devilish training, which is why my army could not defeat them. Later, after Chiang Kai-shek retreated to Taiwan, his army's training began to emulate the Communist Party, and the demands were very strict. But now it's no longer working because there are political problems, because they dare not demand.

If you are a soldier in the People's Liberation Army of China, you will find that the requirements are very high. If the requirements are not high, you will be killed on the battlefield. If you do not train hard on the parade ground, you will also be killed on the battlefield. So, you must know that we must train hard on the parade ground, because the church is God's army. No church has ever demanded as much as we do, but today our demands are only the beginning.

Some people say that their church is like West Point. Some churches say that we are like the Whampoa Military Academy. I looked at it and felt it was not very good. I said we are just like the Eighth Route Army, and our training is like the Eighth Route Army. This is not a joke. West Point is a church that eats Western food. We need to be like the Navy SEALs, like the Eighth Route Army, holding millet and rifles, and take down the steel-like army of God with foreign guns and cannons. The army of God can be invincible and never retreat. When the devil and the enemy make us uncomfortable, we will make the devil even more uncomfortable. Relying on the God of great power, we are invincible, and we will fight to the end to see who can make whom more uncomfortable. So, in the church, you must know that only those who can fight count, because this is all based on the 《Bible》.

Only Those Who Can Fight Count

When the Israelites came out of Egypt, why didn't they come in wearing fancy dresses with big floral fans, and stroll into Canaan? Wouldn't it be nice to stroll in? Because our God is a God of great power, so He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world! But if you stroll in, you may die there! Think about it, can you fight in slippers? Do you think you are Gaddafi? Walking the world in slippers, so brothers and sisters, we must know that only those who can fight count. The first time the Israelites came out of Egypt that they counted the number of people was in 《Numbers》.

These were the men appointed by name who were selected to take the census. On the first day of the second month they assembled the whole community, and the people registered their ancestry by their clans and families, indicating the names of those twenty years old or more, as the Lord commanded Moses. So he counted them in the Desert of Sinai: From the descendants of Reuben the firstborn son of Israel: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Reuben was 46,500. From the descendants of Simeon: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Simeon was 59,300. From the descendants of Gad: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Gad was 45,650. (《Numbers》1:17-24)

From the descendants of Judah: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Judah was 74,600. From the descendants of Issachar: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Issachar was 54,400. From the descendants of Zebulun: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Zebulun was 57,400. From the sons of Joseph: From the descendants of Ephraim: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Ephraim was 40,500. From the descendants of Manasseh: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Manasseh was 32,200. From the descendants of Benjamin: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Benjamin was 35,400. (《Numbers》1:25-36)

From the descendants of Dan: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Dan was 62,700. From the descendants of Asher: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Asher was 41,500. From the descendants of Naphtali: All the men twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted and listed by name, according to their clans and families. The number from the tribe of Naphtali was 53,400. These were the men counted by Moses and Aaron and the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his ancestral house. All the Israelites twenty years old or more who were able to serve in the army were counted according to their families. The total number was 603,550. The families of the Levites, however, were not counted along with the others. (《Numbers》1:37-47)

This chapter constantly repeats twenty years old and upward, able to go to war, so only those who can fight count. I looked at other 《Numbers》 Bible studies, and they were not the same as mine. I suggest you go back and listen to my 《Numbers》 Chapter 1 Bible study. If you come to the church and cannot fight, and you are twenty years old, but you still feel like you are nineteen years old; thirty years old, and you still feel like you are nineteen years old, aren't you freezing your age? If you are freezing your age, then freeze in the wilderness, because you don't count. Some people don't want to be soldiers and fight, so they become deserters; others falsely report their household registration, or falsely report their age. Every year is nineteen years old, so they can never fight and are always babies. So, if Christians cannot eat solid food and are still babies, they are useless. Only those who can fight count.

The army of God, with more than 600,000 people, was invincible 3,500 years ago! Only those who can fight count, it is written in 《Numbers》 Chapter 1, don't you think it's interesting? In Chapter 2, each tribe, according to the number of people who can fight, began to organize the army, and each camped around the tabernacle of God. This is what the army of God is like. The church of God is also like this. Those who cannot fight do not count, that is, those in the church who cannot fight do not count. So, those who get cancer have him, but those who fight do not have him; those who trample on the devil and the enemy do not have him, but those who cannot trample do have him; those who are bound by the devil have him, but those who bind the devil do not have him, because he does not count.

You must know that the church is not pursuing how big it is or how many people it has. Jesus only trained twelve disciples; and when Jesus ascended, there were only five hundred people. There were only one hundred and twenty people praying in the Upper Room. Although there were many very bad people in it. In fact, what Jesus wants are people who can fight spiritual battles, because God will build His church on this rock. If you go back to the time of David, you will find that those who fought with David were mighty warriors. So today, be prepared to be trained to be someone who can cast out demons and fight; someone who can trample on the devil; someone who can bind the devil and release God's people. So, these people have to fight, and they have to give up their homes and businesses. If you don't give up your homes and businesses, you can't fight, you can't be a soldier, you can't be a military man, because what Jesus wants are disciples.

What Jesus Wants Are Disciples

If a person loves his wife, loves his children, loves his mother, loves his father more than he loves Jesus, you cannot be a disciple in Jesus' army. Why be a disciple? A disciple is someone who forsakes all that he has and follows the Lord, which is the simplest requirement. Whether you are a soldier in Taiwan, or a soldier in China, or a soldier in Singapore, you cannot stay at home and watch TV, or make a pot of tea, and sit there swiping your phone, because you cannot fight. They all put on military uniforms and are trained in the army. If others can carry twenty kilograms, you must also be able to carry twenty kilograms; if others can take up a rifle, you must also be able to take up a rifle; if others can carry a cannonball, you must also be able to carry a cannonball; if others can carry a rocket, you must also be able to carry a rocket. This is giving up everything to be a soldier in the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

You may have all kinds of confusion and all kinds of mysteries in your heart, and maybe you are still thinking about whether to live this life or not. But aren't we disciples living a pretty good life? No problem. We live our lives as usual, but we have a heart to give to Jesus. Everyone must know for sure that what Jesus wants are disciples, not believers. So, many people who believe in Jesus come to Jesus, but Jesus says: I do not know you. You know Jesus, but Jesus does not know you, that is useless. For example, in China, I know Xi Jinping, but Xi Jinping does not know me, that is not very useful. Or in those years when I knew Deng Xiaoping, but Comrade Xiaoping may not know you. So, you can know Jesus and say that you already believe in Jesus, but Jesus may not know you, which is troublesome.

You must know that if you are a disciple of Jesus Christ, God calls you by your name, and those who are called by name are disciples, and disciples have marks. The mark of a disciple is to forsake all to follow the Lord, which is the determination to forsake all. Some people will say that they cannot do it, but those who can do it will be rewarded, those who can do it will follow the Lord wholeheartedly, those who can do it will enter the promised land, and those who can do it will receive a double reward.

What Jesus Christ wants are disciples, so Jesus said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ, so you must go out and make all nations disciples of Jesus Christ. Some people may not want to be disciples of Jesus Christ, but if you don't do something so worthwhile, you are a bit silly. Those who give up are the smart ones. What can you grab by yourself? You can't grab anything, and you can't stop anything when demons come!

If you read the 《Bible》 carefully, you will find that what Jesus wants are disciples, and if you love anything more than you love Jesus, you are not worthy to be a disciple of the Lord Jesus. God wants to let all things be trampled under our feet, and God will give us the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be released in heaven. God wants us to enter the promised land, and all of God's promises in the 《Bible》 are faithful in the church of Jesus Christ. Take a large string of keys to the kingdom of heaven, open it, and it is full of treasures of the kingdom of heaven, not just money, but also a lot of high technology to attack the devil and the enemy!
