I. Introduction

Good day to all. Today, I shall continue to speak to you about folly. Some may ask: Why are you so fond of speaking about folly? I tell you, brethren, in my past ministry, I have encountered the most foolish people, more than I have ever seen. And I have a most wicked habit, that is, I detest folly. To this day, I have not corrected it. When I see people being foolish, my temper flares up. I say: God, have mercy on me. So, know that I have encountered many foolish people. If one wishes to become wise, one must first learn what is called folly, isn’t it? Today, I shall continue to speak about it, speaking about the folly of Jeroboam, the folly of Balaam, all of them losing their lives for the sake of worldly matters. Today, I speak of the folly of the sons of Korah; Korah’s end was the same.

Folly extracts a painful price from us. Some perish after one foolish act; some perish after two foolish acts; and some perish after three foolish acts. Do you all know what is meant by “perish”? “Perish” means to be cold, to be dead! The other day, I went with a fellow student to bury someone. Then, my fellow student said something very amusing. He said: “It’s over, perished, 8bq-ed!” Do you all know what is meant by “8bq-ed”? It means cremated. Alas, I said, who invented these terms? Later, one of our fellow workers explained it to me most interestingly: “Perished” means one burped once, and farted once, and then died, breathed one’s last. I said, one burped once, farted once, and then it’s over, then one is 8bq-ed? Alas, this life of ours. Some perish after one foolish act, gone, just like that; some are fine after one foolish act, but perish after the second; and some are 8bq-ed after the third foolish act. I tell you, such lives are truly without meaning, without glory!

Do not think that people from Northeastern China are simply generous; in reality, they are very petty. When people dine together, it seems like everyone is vying to pay the bill, but who is really vying? It is all pretense. They fumble for their wallets for a long time, only to find they did not bring their wallets; then they fumble for their phones, only to find they did not bring their phones. Isn’t this playing it fake? To what extent are Northeasterners petty? One of them says: “What are you looking at?” The other replies: “What if I look at you?” And the two end up tearing at each other. I wonder, what kind of minds do they have? Remember, try not to hire employees from Northeastern China. You say, over what kind of matter does this happen? Actually, there is no matter at all; it is merely because of a glance. What kind of minds must they have? Exactly these kind of minds!

There is a type of person who is a born oppositionist; whichever party is in power, they take to the streets to protest. Have you all seen such people? Once, I watched a program from Taiwan, which spoke of how, regardless of who is in power, they are the opposition party, simply liking to oppose, wanting to be the opposition party. This is somewhat better than the “What are you looking at?” type; at least there is some system to it. A complete keyboard warrior, they criticize everyone. When they encounter even the slightest problem, they blame the system, even though there are those who are blessed under every system, and those who are cursed under every system; they simply have to blame this. Know that it is good to be blessed under any system; being cursed under any system is not good.

The most fatal problem for people is folly. If you are foolish, how is it possible to live well? Have you all seen people who look for trouble when there is none? I have seen many such people. Have you seen parliament? The prime minister speaks there, but as soon as he sits down, an opposition party member stands up and criticizes him thoroughly. It is all verbal sparring. They are all good at talking, but when it comes to action, they are useless. They are only good at speaking. What kind of people are these? It is the same in their homes. If someone wants to do something, someone else opposes and disagrees. Many such things happen, and the home is turned into a parliament. What kind of minds are these? In our generation, there are many jokes to watch, there is much swindling, and there are also many who are swindled. One foolish thing after another. Can you become wise?

For example, the Soviet Union once had a person who ruined the Soviet Union. Originally a very large Soviet Union, it was disintegrated into some small countries, Russia, Ukraine, and others. Then, he felt that he was very great, thinking that he had carried out a reform, walking arm in arm with the United States. There is a photo of Clinton laughing so hard that he could not speak, collapsing with laughter. Why was he collapsing with laughter? Alas, the United States sold him out and he was still helping them count the money. What kind of thing is this? This matter is still causing trouble today. I lament, what kind of minds must they have? As a politician, one must have foresight, one must have political wisdom. The politician who disintegrated the Soviet Union, I think he does not even have Jeroboam’s skills; he is lacking in the mind. You can slowly watch the jokes of this generation. After you finish watching, you will feel: “Oh, so that’s how it is!” If you rely on others to develop your economy, forget about it! Including us individuals, we must have wisdom, we must eliminate folly.

Some people are lacking in the mind; instead of living their lives well, they insist on ruining their homes. The husband of one of our sisters’ mothers is in business outside and has social engagements. Her mother cries at home, wiping her tears. As soon as her husband comes home, they quarrel. Our sister grew up in such a family environment, watching her mother act like this every day, and it was quite terrible. I wonder, what are you crying for? If I were there, I would ask: Did someone die? Did your father die? No. Then did your mother die? Also no. Did your husband die? No, your husband is out drinking. What are you crying for if he is out drinking? As a result, the daughter got married and tells her daughter every day how to manage her husband. The daughter says: “Give it a rest. With your skills, I have seen you wiping your tears in the corner since I was a child, looking for trouble when there is none.”

Our sister was taught by me. Can she out-teach me? My set of things makes people happy; her set of things makes people wipe tears and feel tangled. The sister does not listen to her mother. As a result, the mother-in-law personally takes action. The son-in-law is out dining and has social engagements, and she calls the son-in-law and asks: “When are you coming home?” The son-in-law is dumbfounded on the phone. Alas, since when is it your turn to ask? Isn’t this sick? Painful, and not only painful, but also foolish! Do you say this is not foolish? I am very surprised serving so many people, surprised why people have to be so foolish. Actually, they lack nothing; they are simply acting up. They lack nothing, they simply lack virtue, or are missing a screw in their heads.

When our church first started, although it was a mess, I still had a bit of knowledge in my head, I knew the Bible. Then, a younger brother asked me: “Pastor, when are we going to have elections?” I asked him: “What do you want to do? What do you want to elect?” Actually, the groundwork had already been laid at the grassroots level, and they had been working hard for a long time. As a result, they worked for nothing; we do not have elections here. Before I built the church, I went everywhere to see and investigate. You cannot be ignorant. Then, I discovered a very strange characteristic: those who do not work manage those who work; those who do not pastor manage those who do the pastoring; those who do not serve manage those who serve. Have you all seen such churches? What is this thing? I found it very strange. Then, this kind of church does not cast out demons, it specializes in casting out pastors. If I were to build such a church, I think I would forget about it. Some people ask me: “Are you going to be a pastor in the future?” I said: “I am not.” Later, I could not resist God; I had no choice.

The most important thing in a person’s life is to know one’s limitations, to know what one cannot manage. Actually, you really cannot manage much. One must know that one needs God, do not be arrogant. People encounter many things in life, but not many of them can be controlled. These three meals a day, being full for three and collapsing for two, do not determine a person’s destiny. So what determines a person’s destiny? Sudden disasters determine a person’s destiny. Sudden disasters can knock a person down all at once, and then one perishes. In the past few years, I thank God, I have not fallen in the church.

A nice couple drove out with their child, and collided with a bus. As a result, they all died. A Benz cannot beat a bus; a bus cannot beat a high-speed rail. You must compare yourself with others to see who is better, as a result, they perished. I went to attend the funeral. Not long after, our church’s pastor drove his beloved car and collided with a sprinkler truck on the side of the road, going from behind the truck to underneath it. Then he perished. I went to attend the funeral again. Because I was too familiar with them, I knew them all in the church. I wondered: “Oh, so it was because of love for the world!” The things that a person encounters in life, God will not make a mistake, nor will the devil make a mistake. It is a reflection of what is inside you. What you have inside is what you live out.

Therefore, Wang Yangming wrote about the unity of knowledge and action: what your understanding is, is what you live out. If what you think is right, is actually wrong, the result will be misfortune. People will not do what they think is wrong. But, whether it is right or wrong, that must be verified, isn’t it? You must often ask this question: “Is it right to do this?” I often asked this question since I was a child, so I look quite intelligent, don’t I?

Therefore, like Balaam, Jeroboam, and Korah, whom we are speaking about today, they all died miserably. They all thought they were very clever. In fact, they were all very shrewd, but that shrewdness was useless. Being too shrewd turns one into a demon. Alas, one must learn a lesson, do not always think, think this way, think that way, and then perish. One must begin to learn lessons. Today, let us talk about how many things you have gotten right in this life! Actually, not many are gotten right. If more things are gotten right, that would be good, one will not develop a host of ailments. Is developing a host of ailments getting things right? No, getting things wrong. So why? God did not make a mistake, nor did the devil make a mistake; it is simply that you made a mistake. That is all there is to it.

Today, we are speaking about this Korah, who established the Korah party with the most members in history. The Korah party opposed authoritarianism. You say, this person opposed authoritarianism, but ended up opposing himself to death. You all must know. I don’t know where I got my wisdom from, but since I was a child, I have believed that authority comes from God. Is this the Son of Heaven theory tricking the common people, or is it really the case? Since I was a child, I listened to the commentary book “The Great Song Emperor.” I pondered this matter, and later I discovered in the ancient stories, if you are truly the Son of Heaven, you will not die no matter what you do. Like Liu Bang, turning this way and that way, he was about to die several times, it looked like it was over, but he did not die. He burped once, farted once, but he did not perish. You say, where can you reason with that?

Since I was a child, I have had a bit of faith in fate, so I find this matter quite interesting. You cannot overcome fate; authority all comes from God! Know that as an employee, I am a very good employee, and my relationship with the boss is absolutely solid. As a citizen, I am definitely a good citizen, never being an opposition party. I oppose the opposition party. But there are many people who feel that one leader is no good, and another is no good. What does this have to do with the common people? Like Liu Bang, even the modern leaders are destined. Therefore, an understanding of cognitive understanding has allowed me to learn a very deep lesson. Later, I read the Bible, and then we established the church. I eliminated all those things. Today, do not push it, because that is in accordance with the Bible.

I do not understand these people in the Korah party. They are not capable of entering the Promised Land, they are timid, they do not dare to enter, but they have great skills in opposing Moses and God! Alas, I think, is this looking to perish? Wanting to perish for no reason? It’s fatal! Later, I tell you, the reason why many churches have become what they are today is because they have not walked the road that God has spoken. They are all doorkeepers, bullies at home, kings on the bed. What does this mean? They make a lot of noise in their own nest, they are very capable, but when it comes to entering the Promised Land, they are scared shitless.

What kind of people are these? I do not quite understand. The head has grown on the backside, so that is how it is. Today, can we become wise? Brethren, one by one, can we begin to cast out demons? Do not pick faults here and pick faults there, can we kill a few demons? It would be so good if we could kill a few demons. If we cannot kill demons, we will be swindled by demons, we have no ability or courage to enter the Promised Land, we have no ability to cast out demons, but we are great at casting out pastors, and we are very good at holding elections!

II. Scripture

And Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that the Lord has sent me to do all these works, and that I have not done them of my own mind. If these men die naturally as all men die, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me. But if the Lord creates something new, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you shall know that these men have despised the Lord.” Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah and all their goods. So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the assembly. Then all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up also!” And a fire came out from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men who were offering incense. (Numbers 16:28-35)

III. Prayer

God, today give us wisdom and intelligence, let us learn a lesson from Numbers, from the Korah party. God, today give us a wise heart, let us know that you reign in heaven and on earth. Today let us learn to know that you are the God who created the universe, know that you reign in heaven and on earth, you reign in the kingdoms of the world, and all authority comes from you. God, may you do wonderful things among us, let our brethren and sisters know you more, let us all be able to trust you, enter the Promised Land, and not die in the wilderness, let us become a victorious people. God, may you have mercy on us, lead us until we see your face. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

IV. Background of the Scripture

Let me tell you about history. These Israelites experienced many miracles after leaving Egypt. God severely punished the Egyptians, and the Israelites came out of Egypt. The Israelites were walking on the edge of the Red Sea, camped there, this Pharaoh became stupid, forgot how powerful God was, forgot that God had just killed the firstborn in their family, and chased them to the edge of the Red Sea with his soldiers. Then there was a wall of fire separating the Israelites and the Egyptians, so the Egyptians could not enter the Israelites' side, and the Israelites could not enter the Egyptians' side because there was a wall of fire separating them.

God is so powerful, so God opened up the Red Sea, and the Israelites crossed the Red Sea. Alas, if you walked past the Red Sea, wouldn't you know how powerful God is? If you came out of Egypt, wouldn't you know how powerful God is? You would, how could you not know how powerful God is? Even thinking with your heels, you would know how powerful God is. But the sons of Korah were confused, so they built a tabernacle in the wilderness, made many things, and when they were almost ready and the training was almost over, they made a golden calf when the Ten Commandments were being given. At that time, these sons of Korah were Levites, and they also represented the Levites in killing many Israelites who worshiped the golden calf. If you read the Bible, you will know that Korah was also an adept, a brave general. Then more than a year later, they arrived at Kadesh, and because they wanted to cross the Jordan River to enter the Promised Land, they were going to send twelve spies to scout first.

Do you know what happened? They carried the fruits back smoothly. Actually, would people in that place allow twelve spies to carry the fruits back? They wouldn't. But God protected them, so they came back. Say, twelve spies went in, and twelve spies came back. Alas, they didn't say: God can protect me, so we should go in without any problems, right? No. When they came back, they said: Wow, we can't go, it is God who wants us to go and die, God wants us to be cannon fodder, we can't go! So what happened? The twelve spies died on the spot. Was Korah there or not? Korah witnessed it with his own eyes. This God is too powerful!

So, aren't they not going into the Promised Land? God was going to destroy the Israelites, so Moses pleaded for them. After Moses pleaded, God did not destroy the Israelites, but God really killed many people on the spot. At that time, God announced one thing, which was that this whole generation would die in the wilderness, drifting in the wilderness for about thirty-eight years. I ask you, wouldn't the people who heard it feel a chill in their hearts? Would you want to die in the wilderness? Would you want to wander around and around in this wilderness? Do you think that is fun? It is not fun. So what do they do for the next thirty-eight years? They want to drift in the wilderness, and eventually they all die, including Korah. All of these people were sentenced to death, with a stay of execution!

Only Caleb and Joshua can enter the Promised Land, can survive. I ask you, if you heard this news, what would you do? Sad, isn't it? You think in your heart: We all have to roam in the wilderness for thirty-eight years, so let's just be led by this Moses, if he says to go east, we go east, if he says to walk for one day, we walk for one day, if he says to walk for two days, we have to walk for two days. Annoying or not? Annoying! As a result, these Israelites were very powerful, thinking again and again: Why do I have to die in the wilderness? If we can't enter the Promised Land, let's go back to Egypt. But this Moses doesn't allow it, and what we say doesn't count. You are not a leader, so does what you say count? As for Moses: God says we have to die in the wilderness, so let's all die in the wilderness together, that's good. But Korah and his people felt that was not good, and thought in their hearts: Why should we die in the wilderness with you?

The three million Israelites that came later, before counting those who could fight with swords, six hundred thousand soldiers, these six hundred thousand soldiers all have to die in the wilderness, only Caleb and Joshua can enter the Promised Land, can survive. Do you think there will be a rebellion? Will there be a mutiny? Will there be a coup? There will be. Everyone thought: Alas, this life is ruined, regret it now! Why did I come to this place to play with them in the first place? Wasn't I fine in Egypt? Even if I was a slave there, I wouldn't have come to the wilderness. In the wilderness, I can't go shopping, and I can't go to KTV, and I have to listen to Moses read the scriptures every day, sometimes he writes a Deuteronomy, sometimes he writes a Numbers, sometimes he writes an Exodus, he's talking about it all the time. Alas, I'm tired of hearing it. From Genesis chapter 1 to chapter 50, and from Genesis chapter 1 to chapter 50 again, it's uncomfortable, reading the scriptures all day long, it makes me dizzy.

When they reached the Promised Land, they didn't want to enter, and it wasn't okay to not enter, if you didn't want to enter, they would kill you. This talk was told here, and the hearts are all chilly. Today I can tell you, if a Christian cannot enter the Promised Land, that is really a tragedy in life, even if you die, you have to enter the Promised Land! As a result, these people were three in a gang, two in a group, saying: Alas, Korah is a Levite, he is the cousin of Moses and Aaron, he is wearing the yellow robe, our great leader Korah is going to lead us back to Egypt, we don't have to die in the wilderness, and we don't have to enter that Promised Land, that's great! Everyone was excited, so they began to play a farce.

The logic of this farce is rather interesting. The party of Korah said to Moses and Aaron, Why do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD? Does this sound pleasant to everyone? It does not. First, they are labeled as seizing power for themselves, claiming that God did not choose them; they appointed themselves. They said, We should have democracy; we should have an election and remove Moses! This is a clever move, removing Moses effortlessly. Why? Because all six hundred thousand Israelite men of war were from the party of Korah; this is no exaggeration. They promoted Korah because he was the cousin of Moses and Aaron. They then said, Since the whole congregation is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them, why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD?

They gathered together against Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You have gone too far! The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is with them. Why then do you set yourselves above the LORD’s assembly?” (Numbers 16:3)

Do you see this? This is called political struggle. Alas, this move is powerful! Moses, after hearing this, said, Did I seize power for myself? I didn't want to come in the first place, but God forced me to. I couldn't be bothered with you lot. It was extremely vexing! Moses said to the party of Korah:

“In the morning the LORD will show who belongs to him and who is holy, and he will have that person come near him. The man he chooses he will cause to come near him. (Numbers 16:5)

Did Korah not know in his heart that he did not belong to God? But he was incredibly bold. His foolishness lies here: Never trifle with God. Was Moses elected? When was Moses ever elected? Never. Then they said, You seize power for yourselves, and the whole congregation is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them. Why do you exalt yourselves; by what right are you above us? Moses said, When did I exalt myself? They continued, Didn't you say you would lead us to a land flowing with milk and honey? Now you have not led us to a land flowing with milk and honey; you have been defeated in battle.

“Moreover, you have not brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey or given us an inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you gouge out the eyes of these men? We will not come!” (Numbers 16:14)

Moses found it hard to argue! Yes, they would all die in the wilderness. Moses was terribly harmed by them, and as a result, the blame was shifted to Moses. Moses wanted them to go to the promised land, but they refused, out of fear. Where is the logic in this?

In the past, my understanding of this matter was not profound, but now it is very deep. Back when we were building the church, some of the people I served had experienced earth-shattering testimonies. No matter how much grace they received from me, they turned around and acted exactly like the Israelites, creating problems for me. I thought to myself, What kind of minds do these people have? And what happened? The common people echoed their sentiments. Moses' path of service was not easy. As a result, God opened the earth and swallowed the party of Korah. The two hundred and fifty elders, all leaders of Israel, were burned to death by the fire of the LORD. Then the Israelites, seeing this, said to Moses and Aaron, You have killed the people of the LORD.

And the whole congregation of the Israelites complained against Moses and Aaron on the next day, saying, “You have killed the people of the LORD.” (Numbers 16:41)

Alas, God had wiped them out. How could it be that Moses had killed the people of the LORD? Can you understand this? It is truly incomprehensible. Foolishness is foolishness! Look at what Korah and his followers said: The congregation is holy, every one of them. When were they ever holy? They were all people who displeased God. Then God killed the people. Alas, they said, Moses, you have killed the people of the LORD. Were they the people of the LORD? They were the refuse of the LORD. Vexing. As a result, this lesson is too profound.

Everyone is convinced they are right. Haven’t enough people died? The twelve spies who went to Canaan died right before their eyes, did they not? They knew. They died of a plague on the spot, did they not know? They knew! Then later, the earth swallowed Korah, and fire burned the two hundred and fifty leaders. Did the Israelites not know? They knew, but this is what it means to be foolish! As a result, a plague broke out, killing another fourteen thousand seven hundred people. Today, I want to ask everyone: How many more must die before we repent and learn this lesson? Why do we antagonize God? To this day, I still do not fully understand, but I know this is called foolishness. This is the background to this passage.

5. The First Foolishness of the Party of Korah: Fearing to Enter the Promised Land

Know that when a person does not have the Spirit of God, he will possess a certain characteristic: when facing the promised land, his courage will fail. It is a spiritual contest. The evil spirits in Canaan created a field of energy that produced suppression in them. Do you all understand? When you enter a place, you may suddenly feel inexplicably afraid. Why? Because the field of energy in that place is too strong. And what is a field of energy? It is something in the spiritual realm. That is to say, why did the party of Korah not dare to enter the promised land? The reason is simple: because they had something evil in them; that evil spirit was in them. Think about it, why would evil spirits be in them? Because their thoughts and intentions attracted evil spirits. Therefore, know that all those who are fearful and timid will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone. Revelation speaks very clearly:

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

Then you say, I am naturally timid. What is naturally timid? What are you afraid of? You are afraid of evil spirits. If you fear evil spirits, will you not be controlled by them? If you are controlled by evil spirits, will you not be taken away by them? If you are taken away by evil spirits, will you not be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone? You will be! They simply dare not enter the promised land; it is a spiritual foolishness. Why do they have this? Because their minds are filled with worldly values. Their minds are filled with unbelief in God. No matter how many miracles they see, they forget them in an instant. And then you do not dare to enter the promised land. I am also very surprised. Why did you come out of Egypt in the first place? This is what I mean when I say that some people want to believe in the Lord but are unwilling to pay the price to enter the promised land, nor do they dare to enter the promised land, and thus they become people who die in the wilderness.

I ask you: Is dying in the wilderness worse than living in Egypt? It is definitely worse! In Egypt, you just eat and work every day. If you work hard, you will not be beaten, do you understand? It is good to be a slave; you have food to eat. Why did you come out? You might say, Is this not foolish? They want to believe in the Lord, but they dare not enter the promised land; they want to believe in the Lord, but they are unwilling to pay the price. This is why I find it so surprising. As a Christian, having received so much grace, even a Muslim has more heart to pay the price than you, I am truly amazed! Brothers and sisters, you must know today that this kind of foolishness is truly deadly!

How many Christians withhold their offerings to God today? How many Christians do not see God's promises? How many Christians die in the wilderness, never seeing God's promises until death, becoming people who are detestable to God. Is this not foolish? I will give them a saying: wanting to be a prostitute while also wanting to erect a monument to virtue. How harsh that sounds! Christians are like this. Therefore, know that whether it is doing work or doing business, I do not like to hire Christians. Do you know why I do not like to hire Christians? Because many Christians are rotten; they always shift the blame to God and still think they are all holy. Holy what? Reeking of stench.

6. The Second Foolishness of the Party of Korah: Still Unreconciled to Dying in the Wilderness

You say they do not dare to enter the promised land, but they came out of Egypt, and they are still unreconciled to dying in the wilderness. You say, is there any way to go? You see, from the moment they left Egypt, there were no good choices. The first is to enter the promised land; the second is to die in the wilderness. To enter the promised land, you must leave this and leave that, and you must fight battles. People will die in battles; bullets are not merciful. They think, Oh, let's not go in; there are giants in there, over three meters tall. We are not on the same scale; they see us like grasshoppers, and we see ourselves like grasshoppers. Let's just die in the wilderness.

If you dare not enter the promised land, then you say, is there any way to go? The only way is to return to Egypt. Why are they not reconciled to dying in the wilderness? If you are reconciled to dying in the wilderness, at least your children and grandchildren can enter the promised land. From now on, start teaching your descendants: Listen to the word of the LORD your God. Our generation cannot enter, but your generation must enter; you must listen to God! How good that would be. But no, with one thought in their heads, there is no wine to drink in this place, there is no fish or meat to eat, just manna all day long. After eating it, burping burps and farting farts that are all manna-flavored; their whole bodies reek of manna. I tell you, mentioning manna, besides being able to fill their stomachs, they are about to vomit.

Can you imagine wandering around in the wilderness for forty years, going back and forth every day? Moses says, Move! The Levites start packing up the tabernacle and the sea badger skins, packing up a large pile and carrying it away. Then Moses says, Camp! Then they start setting up tents. Oh, this work is so annoying. Can you be reconciled? If you can be reconciled, you are smart. Regarding Korah, we must understand them. How did they get to the point of dying in the wilderness? People must know: Oh, I am so foolish! God will also have mercy on you. They are just not reconciled. If God says they must die in the wilderness, what to do? We made a mistake before; this time we pay the price. Is that right? Alas, how difficult!

We, as the Chinese Mingding Destiny, must enter the promised land no matter what! There is no choice; we cannot take another path. Korah chose another path and died in the wilderness. Then, unreconciled, what to do? Return to Egypt. If they return to Egypt, what will happen? They will be swallowed by the earth. You say, is there a choice? Christians have no choice; once they become Christians, they cannot choose. You say, Cannot choose? Then I will not believe. Then you are not doing good, from now on you are no longer a Christian, you just return to Egypt. You return to Egypt and sneak away, like deserting; you still want to bring the whole of Israel back to Egypt. You are too bold. Do you not know that God will finish you? They do not know. They think: Probably not, right? It will be okay, right?

7. The Third Foolishness of the Party of Korah: Wanting to Return to Egypt

You say they came out of Egypt; is Egypt good? It is not good. Then why return to Egypt? Return to Egypt to say to Pharaoh: Pharaoh, I want to be your slave. Alas, I say, what kind of brain is this? Why return to Egypt? Return to Egypt to hold elections? You establish a political party, and then you elect the Egyptian Pharaoh out of office? No. They return to say to the Egyptian Pharaoh: I want to be a slave. I am just thinking, what kind of brain is this? They do not want to be free people. Being a free person in the wilderness is better than returning to Egypt to be a slave, right? Alas, I am surprised; this is so foolish! Some people say: Alas, it's okay, I'll just be a slave, anyway, I just want to live a quiet life. Oh, you want to live a quiet life. You see, where is the problem? They are not afraid of God.

If they want to return to Egypt, what to do? Moses will not allow it! Korah knows that if he does not overthrow Moses, Moses will definitely not let them return to Egypt. If you try to return, you will be finished immediately. They want to return to Egypt. Later, they have a plan. They form a party. Why do the two hundred and fifty elders hold censers? It is to hold elections to see if God is really with Moses. They think, Surely God is also with us, right? God is really with Moses! Alas, wanting to return to Egypt, they start a political coup, creating a rebellion. Korah calculates: Six hundred thousand soldiers are all under my command. Except for Joshua and Caleb, everyone listens to me. If we hold elections, if we stage a coup, we have a one hundred percent chance of winning. Going up, we will arrest Moses. Did they arrest him? How can you arrest him? You cannot arrest him! Calculating and calculating, they calculate everything, but they forget to calculate God into the equation. If you do not calculate God into the equation, are you not unlucky!

Therefore, people have experienced so many miracles, seen so many of God's wonderful works, and at that time eat manna that God sent down every day. You say, what kind of brain is this? I am in awe. This brain is not even as good as my heel! They feel that we can have a meeting, discuss our return to Egypt, put on the yellow robe and proclaim: From now on, Korah, you are this Levite, you are our priest, you will lead us back to Egypt. Okay, that's it! They forgot; they forgot that they were going to croak the next day. Right? Probably did not even have time to burp that burp, did not even have time to fart that fart, they croaked the next day. You say, who can you reason with about this? People who do not know that God is in control are foolish to death. Foolish!

8. The Fourth Foolishness of the Party of Korah: Thinking They Have Strength in Numbers

Wow, there are so many people, alas, six hundred thousand soldiers! The shouts shake the heavens! Looking out, each tribe adds up to six hundred thousand soldiers, plus the families of Israel, three million in all, many people! Elections, democracy! Can your many people withstand God? Anyway, I feel that if people have no concept of God, you say, how foolish can they be? As a result, thinking it is useless, God did something very extraordinary. At that time, they did not know. Seeing so many people, the ground beneath their feet, they thought: Stomping my feet on the ground, is this not good! Is it not solid? Even digging with a pickaxe cannot dig it up. It is okay. We will definitely kill Moses, this old man. How can we let him be in power? See that? How compliant I am with the will of the people. We will definitely win. Did they win? They did not win! Because God's word is established in heaven; God does not go according to the will of the people. I tell you, at this time the devil deceived the party of Korah, and they were on the verge of dying and did not even know it!

Today, brothers and sisters, you must know that God is awesome! Therefore, the smartest thing I have ever done is to put God in first place in my life! Maybe occasionally confused, but quickly wake up again. Many people cannot withstand God. As a result, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed Korah's family, Dathan, and Abiram, and fire consumed the two hundred and fifty elders, and then their censers were refined and hammered into plates as a memorial. God is so awesome! So you see, foolishness really leads to death. Whenever you calculate, whenever you calculate God out, it is over, definitely over!

9. The Fifth Foolishness of the Party of Korah: Not Repenting Even When Disaster Strikes

The Israelites are very interesting. The Israelites saw Korah fall down, gone! In less than a second, the earth opened with a pop, and then closed again with a pop. Finished in one second, gone! God said: Let me dress you in yellow robes, let me promote Korah as your leader, let me have you stage a coup, and you are playing with me, right? I fooled Pharaoh; how about that? You do not listen to Moses whom I arranged? If you do not listen, eat him. Ka, fire came down from heaven. Entering the promised land will be a land of corpses!

As a result, after the Israelites saw this, what did they say? They said: Moses and Aaron have killed the people of the LORD. What kind of brain is this? Were they the people of the LORD? No. Did Moses and Aaron kill them? No. I tell you, on the first day, they had not reacted yet. The next day, waking up and thinking about it, the devil gave them a lie: It is not like that; that was not God. That was a big pit that Moses had dug in advance. They were all the people of the LORD God. Moses and Aaron killed the people of God. As a result, what happened? Saying this, a plague raged and fourteen thousand seven hundred people died. Finally, Aaron, following what Moses said, ran into the congregation, and then, holding a censer, stood between the living and the dead, and the plague was stopped.

So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague stopped. (Numbers 16:47-48)

I feel that the path to the promised land is littered with corpses, but those who die in the wilderness are not among us. Are those among us good? Let us resolve with a certain conviction, seeing God's works, seeing disaster after disaster descend, having a heart of reverence for God, repenting deeply!

10. Conclusion: The Foolishness of the Party of Korah

Where exactly is the foolishness of the party of Korah? Why are they so foolish? I tell you, sometimes people think that way, and then they know nothing else. Is there this? When that energy comes up, they know nothing else; they are single-mindedly thinking about their own affairs and thinking about nothing else. Why is that? I ask you, where did these Korahites die? Did they die at the hand of God or at the hand of the devil? They died at the hand of the devil. Why is that? I tell you, it is unbelief! People do not believe in God, do not believe in God's word, do not believe that God is a good God, do not believe that God will bring us into the promised land. As long as we believe, even the strongest enemies can be crushed, but they just do not believe, and until death, they do not know that they die because of their own unbelief. That is the key!

Today, I hope that brothers and sisters can come out of the foolishness of Korah. We will end our sharing here today. Let us sing a hymn and prepare to receive today's offering. If you do not understand the meaning of offering, please do not offer! God does not lack money, and the church does not lack money. You must know that the church is to bring everyone into the promised land. Today, let God create a clean heart for us and let us have the Spirit of God anew within us.

Come out of the bad habit of unbelief and start walking the path of faith. Today, we do not live by money, we do not live by people, and we do not live by power. Today, we live by the word of God. All those among us who have experienced God and experienced many graces, today, let us begin to restore the heart of revering God within us. No matter how much grace you have received from God, even if you were eating God's manna yesterday, if you have the foolishness of Korah within you, you may be croaking soon. Okay? Today we must learn to revere God. From now on, we will enter the promised land. We will die, but we will enter the promised land!

Everyone raise your hands and pray with me: Lord Jesus, I just want to come before you to be pleasing to you, to be seen as precious and glorious in your eyes. God, I come before you, may you use your Spirit to renew me and mold me, to make me a vessel useful to you. God, I just want to enter the promised land. I will die, but I will enter the promised land. No matter what, I will not go back! I will no longer cater to the flesh, nor will I love the world anymore. God, today I offer myself, may you lead me, come out of all foolishness, let me become a wise and intelligent person. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for the kingdom, the power, and the glory are all yours, forever and ever. Amen!

May God bless everyone!
