Good day to you all. Today, we will look at the seventh chapter of 2 Corinthians. What is the seventh chapter of 2 Corinthians about? The theme of 2 Corinthians chapter seven is: Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. Having these promises, we ought to cleanse ourselves, perfecting holiness.
1. Co-working with God is the best promise
The previous chapter speaks of co-working with God. I ask you, what else in this world is better than co-working with God? There is none. In this world, one finds a very important principle: no matter how capable you are, when misfortune strikes, you will find that nothing works. That is to say, no matter how powerful a person is in this world, the difficulties they face are always greater than their abilities. Moreover, what profit is there for a man in all his labor which he takes under the sun? Is it not so? Therefore, co-working with God is a promise, and not just any promise. What does this mean? It means that God is working with us, and we are working with God on the same project.
I tell you, when you are in university, students often organize into small teams to do projects. What do you hate the most? You hate finding someone who is dragging their feet. You would not choose someone who is useless, who cannot do anything, and leaves all the work to you. You do not like that. Who is the most sought-after person? Someone who is very capable. Everyone wants to find them to work on projects together, to get high scores.
If you are working with God on a project today, surely that is guaranteed to be a high score. So this is a promise. How do we co-work with God? By building God's glorious temple. Who will build God's glorious temple? Those in this world who have lost all hope, who originally saw life as empty, and whose toils lead only to destruction, can now see a good path, a path called co-working with God.
Co-working with God is extraordinary. All difficulties become smaller than you. All problems become smaller than you because God is working with you. All demons become smaller than you. Because of your co-working with God, it is as if even the dogs and chickens rise to heaven with you, how wonderful is that? So I know God and regard Him as my greatest treasure. Since knowing God and regarding Him as my greatest treasure, He remains my greatest treasure to this day. I am telling you all this is not to deceive you. It is wonderful, what could be better?
I find some brothers and sisters worrying all the time. What are they worrying about? I do not know, they rely on their own limited strength and abilities. If you were very capable, that would be different, but they like to rely on themselves, especially those who are not very capable but admire those who are. They are not very capable, admire those who are, and still want to rely on their own meagre skills. I say, forget it, rely on God's promise, co-work with God, I tell you that is the best promise.
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)
Today I also tell you all, since we have such promises, what do we really need? To cleanse ourselves in body and spirit, removing all defilement.
2. We ought to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit
Some people do not like me to repeat, but if you listen to my lectures, you probably will not get lost. Why? Because I repeat many things to prevent you from losing your way. But some people have objections when they transcribe my recordings into text, because of the repetition. But I wonder, if you have not understood it with repetition, how can you understand it without repetition? Good, so we ought to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. You know, a person's entire life, what they think in their mind, and the many misunderstandings in their body and soul. Let us take our inner values for example. Not many of our inner values can be put on the table, can they? Why? Because it is embarrassing to say them.
Have you all noticed? Some brothers and sisters say, teacher, I am uncomfortable. I ask, what makes you uncomfortable? They cannot say. I ask, why can't you say? Because if they say it, it is low, they know it is low, it is embarrassing, it cannot be put on the table. Saying it is embarrassing. Why? They always want to take money from other people's pockets and put it in their own. They try and try but cannot do it. Oh, my goodness, they are exhausted.
If this matter were told, how embarrassing would it be? Oh my goodness, they still have to pretend to be respectable, like a good person. In fact, their bodies and souls are filled with a lot of misunderstandings. I tell you, these misunderstandings are terrible, terrible. Actually, we often judge people, but how we judge things is not very accurate, but the probability is quite high.
In the past, when we judged people, we would look at their mothers. If their mothers were extremely discerning between good and evil, they would be somewhat influenced, would they not? Because they were born of their mothers. Later, we found that if their mothers got Alzheimer's, and then we saw that this person had a child with autism, or some other condition, we could judge the probability of certain things. It is not easy to remove all defilement from the body and soul, is it? It is not easy. I tell you, from birth, what they say is not even logical.
I tell you, digging deep, it is all filth. So a person's family environment and the environment in which they grew up will have a profound impact on them. What does it affect? It affects their view of the world, their view of life, their view of values. These are their outlook on life, values, and worldview. As a result, these concepts will bring about a lot of misunderstandings.
Think about it, if a person's mind is so dirty, can their children be good? Do not tell me you are a preacher, many preachers' minds are just as dirty. What many preachers have in their minds is worse than not being a preacher, is it not? If you are not a preacher, you do not have to pretend. We are being honest, right? But if you are a preacher and you cannot be honest, you have to make up a set of theological ideas.
Is that not terrible? So these Corinthians, the Corinthians' minds were dirty. Why are people stingy? Because they are thinking about stingy things, are they not? Why did they ruin their relationship with Paul? Because Paul wanted to correct their wrong theological concepts, Paul wanted to deal with their bad habits, to deal with the dirty and filthy things in them. Once they dealt with them, the relationship became strained. As a result, the relationship was restored after writing 2 Corinthians.
Everyone began to understand, they understood in their hearts. In the past, when people had not understood, they felt, Paul, you are really bad. You have revealed all the things I was thinking in my heart, have you not? And you are proclaiming everywhere that we Corinthians are not good, as if you are the only one who is amazing. It was this kind of thing.
So a person must cleanse themselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit in order to receive God's promise, so that they can co-work with God. Is it not so? So that they can co-work with God. So if God does not co-work with you, why? Because of filthiness. If God does not co-work with you and you do not change, then who will co-work with you? Demons will co-work with you.
Let us talk a little bit today about how God removes the filthiness within us. God lets you suffer many losses, endure many sins, and suffer much hardship, because we must begin to constantly cleanse ourselves, today in body and spirit. Removing all defilement, removing all defilement. What is the soul? It is the mind and thoughts.
You must know that a person is born a person of the flesh, thinking about the things of the flesh. Is it not so? Born a person of the flesh, thinking about the things of the flesh, many things are taken for granted. You never say, how could this be wrong? Yes, everyone is like this. Those who are destined to perish are all like this.
I tell you, the nature of this world's capital is very dirty. Capital is very dirty, because capital is for money, is it not? For making money. Capitalists do not want to solve problems. If they truly solve problems, but cannot bring profits, and the problems are all solved at once, the business cannot continue. The business model is wrong, is it not? If the business model is wrong, when you look for venture capital, they will ask you what the business model is. You say my idea is amazing, they ask how is it amazing? You say once my plan is implemented, pain will disappear forever. That is the end, the investment is gone.
They will ask how you will create profits again? If they finally find a customer, they have to squeeze all the money out of them, emptying all the money from their pockets, that is the investment they will definitely make. How does marketing work? It is the clever people deceiving the not-so-clever. My mother told me a long time ago, the one who sells is smarter than the one who buys, the one who sells has seen through this. So how many people are deceived, their hearts are dirty.
Today in Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, those who are trapped by real estate, who bought at high prices, taking out eight million in loans, I ask you who can bear the pressure of an eight million loan? How many years ago, you may not have understood the value of the house, you did not understand what the value of the house would be in the future.
There is nothing in this world that only rises and does not fall, everything has highs and lows. As a result, after buying, they jump off buildings, they jump off buildings. The price of real estate collapses, and people also jump off buildings. Why? Because their minds are dirty, otherwise how could they be tricked? It sounds upsetting.
I do not know how they can live that kind of life, I really do not know how to live that kind of life. Recently, one of our sisters finally sold her house and lost 1.5 million. I ask you, how many 1.5 million dollars can a person earn in their lifetime? How many 1.5 million dollars can you save? It is very difficult. Why? Their minds are dirty, so they believe lies. So people believe lies, and then they fall into the pit. I ask you, those who fall into the pit do not have clean minds.
Today let us reflect on ourselves properly. Let us cleanse ourselves in body and spirit. Today I have to tell you, the best guarantee is Jesus. Because co-working with God, Jesus is the best doctor, Jesus is the best accountant, Jesus is the best engineer, our Jesus Christ is the best guarantee. If you cannot hold on to that, then go ahead and try to hold on to something else.
Those who rely on money will pay the price of their lives for money. So believing in Jesus today means financial freedom, right? Believing in Jesus today means God gives you freedom. Today let us stop believing in financial freedom. Sometimes when they ask me, I also say a few words about financial freedom. But my true freedom is not financial. My true freedom is all freedom. Some people misunderstand, right?
They say, see, the hospital cannot earn my money, the decorator cannot earn my money, the software writer cannot earn my money, the school cannot earn my money, I save a lot of money. They misunderstood. I save money, what do I save money for? I am free! I have a little money and I do not lack money. I consume few resources, I am fuel-efficient. My brain operates fast, I work a lot, I create a lot of value, and I consume little. I am full of treasure.
Pigs are also full of treasure, but my treasure and their treasure are not the same kind of treasure. Good, I want us to cleanse ourselves today, because we have such good promises, did you hear? If we have such good promises, but we do not cooperate with God's requirements, and we do not cleanse ourselves, and we lose God's presence, then who comes? Demons come.
King Saul lost God's presence, and then an evil spirit from the Lord, read the Bible carefully, that is what the Bible says. An evil spirit from the Lord came upon Saul, and he became mentally ill. Many people do not believe it, many people do not believe that mental illness can be healed. Do you believe it now? Actually, even after the illness is healed, they still do not believe, is that not very hateful? So we ought to cleanse ourselves, the most important thing is to cleanse ourselves.
3. You must open your hearts wide to us
Paul says this quite harshly. If I said this to you, I would say you must open your hearts wide to us. Am I narrow-minded? I am not narrow-minded. I am the most generous person in Shenzhen; I am the most generous person in Shanghai; you have offended both Shanghai and Shenzhen. Is our openness of heart closely related to how clean we are inside? closely related.
So what does Paul say? Receive us into your hearts.
What is receive us? It is acceptance. Open your hearts wide. If your heart is small and narrow, like a peanut, it would be better if it were not like a sesame seed. If it were a sesame seed-sized heart, I do not think a person could live. A small thing would burst that small heart.
Why? Because, we have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have defrauded no one. What is Paul saying? What is he saying? Accept us. What does that mean? Emulate us. Examine carefully, see if we are selfish people. Is everything we do to edify people, or to corrupt people? Are we trying to cleanse ourselves and serve God's people, or with selfish motives, not only misunderstanding ourselves, but also misunderstanding others?
Everyone must be careful now, you must be careful. Many preachers actually have very dirty things in their hearts. Recently, one of our sisters was serving a young girl. The son of a preacher got sick, and he brought the girl, who was also injured, to live in his home. This preacher did not want to edify people, he wanted to take the girl as his daughter-in-law. What kind of logic is that?
Of course, he does not think this is a problem. He does not think this is a problem, but it is indeed a problem. So in body and spirit, we must cleanse ourselves. Our hearts must be wide open, not wanting to take advantage of anyone, not wanting to corrupt anyone, not wanting to wrong anyone.
If a preacher is always thinking about taking advantage of people, I tell you, the dogs on the street know it. Some time ago, I served a sister in our midst. Her parents were both preachers in the village. The problems were numerous, why? Because they had lost God's presence, and they had brought in demons. So how could they not have many problems? So today, are our brothers and sisters open-hearted?
If you do not have a good relationship with your mother, your heart is too small. My mother always discerns good and evil, let her discern hers, and you discern yours, is that okay? Can you remove this evil habit of discerning good and evil, the dirty filthiness in your heart? Let us remove selfishness. If you are always thinking about your mother's benefit, and you also argue with her, she discerns good and evil with you, and you also discern good and evil with her, it is unnecessary, is it not?
If a person no longer lives for themselves, but lives for Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us and died on the cross for us, you will immediately become holy. They say put down the butcher knife and become a Buddha immediately. But you cannot become a Buddha just by putting down the butcher knife, if you are still thinking about your daughter-in-law in your mind.
So I tell you, a person is broad-minded if they do not live for themselves. If a person does not live for themselves, and is concerned about their own cleansing, they will feel uncomfortable whenever they are dirty inside. No matter what the situation they encounter, they will feel uncomfortable. Good, because of the sorrow God has given, they will cleanse themselves. What does Paul say?
I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. (2 Corinthians 7:3)
What does that mean? It is for your benefit. For your benefit, observe carefully how we live, see how we walk this path. That is what is important. I tell you, my heart is the same. Someone who has already chosen to live for God does not want to see brothers and sisters fall, does not want to see brothers and sisters with dirty hearts, does not want to see the dirtiness of the soul.
Do not make yourself a person without God's presence. If God is with you, your service will surely have God's presence. If you lose God's presence, your service will no longer have God's presence, only the presence of demons. So be generous, do not live for yourself, this is a shortcut.
Four, Paul's anxieties and discouragement
Paul's anxieties and discouragement. You know, serving God can sometimes lead to feelings of anger and discouragement. Do you know why one gets discouraged? The Corinthians, whom Paul had toiled to serve and establish the church, had turned against him. Strange, isn't it? Then, they began to factionalize, forming cliques. Some followed Apollos, others followed this one, others followed Cephas, that is, Peter, and still others followed Paul. The whole church was in a state of chaos. Was Paul distressed? Yes, he was.
Were those who caused the chaos in the church distressed? No, they were not. Very strange, indeed. I saw that some in the Corinthian church had committed sins and died from severe illness. Some even took their stepmothers as wives. There were many scandalous things. What was the result? Paul was truly weary from this, wasn't he? How weary Paul was in his heart.
Enticed by evil graces. Misled, bewitched. This distress caused restlessness. There were external conflicts and internal fears, full of anxieties. Why was he anxious? Was it for himself? Did he think, I need to worry, I don't even have the five social insurances and one housing fund? He didn't have that. There was no such thing as five social insurances and one housing fund back then. What insurance? No insurance at all, because Jesus is the most secure insurance.
But the church's fall, the church's impurity, the deception of the brothers and sisters in the church caused him heartache. At one moment, he believed, God, I pray with tears every day. At another moment, he said, God, they will certainly be saved, and they will certainly stand up strong. One moment,
you heard the news, and things were chaotic again, with arguments erupting in the church. Distressing, isn't it? Then one moment choosing to believe, the next moment unable to believe, then choosing to believe again, then unable to believe again. Very distressing.
So he wrote a letter. After writing the letter, he was still distressed, thinking, Did I write too harshly? Will they be able to bear it after reading it? One moment this, one moment that, believing and worrying alternately. Isn't this how it is described? He regretted writing the letter, fearing it would cause them sorrow and be too much for them to bear. And then, not writing was not an option either; if things continued like this, wouldn't the church be finished?
So today everyone needs to know, is serving God joyful? Those who have God with them say it is joyful. But then, upon seeing the situation, seeing the weakness in the church, seeing so many problems, seeing the verge of collapse, one feels distressed. Right? For the sake of purification, for the sake of purifying the church. Very tiring. And what does he say? He says, God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us. Comforting those who are downcast.
Sometimes it is a barely flickering faith. And then, when he arrived in Macedonia, he still found no rest. Did he suffer from insomnia? He probably did. Tossing and turning, thinking about the Corinthians. First tossing and turning, then feeling weary and closing his eyes. With closed eyes, unable to sleep, he would get up again and pray, Oh God, purify the Corinthians. I long for the Corinthian church to be a pure church, a holy church, a church working together with God.
God, I really don't want to see the Corinthian church become like the Jerusalem church. Because the Jerusalem church was turned into a mess by Peter and the others. Distressing, isn't it? Distressing. And then, I wrote to you before, causing you sorrow. I am going to write a letter, because I am distressed, and I want you to be distressed as well. No, it's not that I am distressed and want you to be distressed as well. It's that I am distressed and hope that you will be holy.
To become pure, to become holy, you are distressed because you read my letter, hoping that you will become holy and therefore distressed. Is it the same kind of distress? No, it's not the same. As a result, Paul wrote a letter, writing rather harshly. You bunch of simpletons. Simple, isn't it? Written and then crossed out. Oh, no, can't do that, crossed out. Couldn't find another word. Had to write, You silly children啊, something like that. After writing it, I tell you, that letter was not privately circulated; people didn't dare to include it in the Bible. It wasn't until later, around 300 AD, when they were collecting these letters to form the Bible, that the Bible roll was certainly still there.
Why? Because many churches circulated it, but after circulating it, many people pointed and said, This doesn't sound like the words of a servant of God, this doesn't seem like the words of a servant of God, right? Look at you people, your hearts are like peanuts, your brains are like walnuts. Done, the Bible can't include this. If the Bible includes this, many theologians can't accept it. They can't accept it, so the Middle Corinthian Letter was not included, only First Corinthians and Second Corinthians. The Middle Corinthian Letter was too brilliant. Ah, writing letters, what did he say?
For even if I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it. For I perceive that the letter grieved you, though only for a while. Now I rejoice, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. (2 Corinthians 7:8-9)
Five, the God who comforts the downcast comforted us
Why? After writing this letter, he was extremely conflicted and in pain. The result was that after the Corinthians read the letter, they tore their clothes, scattered ashes on their heads, and repented, even weeping bitterly before Titus. I believe Paul's letter was well-written. Although Paul's letter was severe, it was heartfelt. Paul truly wrote a letter to the Corinthian church with his heart. It is a pity that we do not know it today. If we could read it today, I guess it might be similar to what I am saying.
As a shepherd, my words are indeed harsh, but it won't do not to be harsh. It is necessary to tear down those filthy things in people's hearts in order to sanctify them in body and soul. This is difficult, isn't it, looking at us? We are always concerned about trivial matters, minor trifles. All these things, such small hearts, aren't they, and then the trouble we go to in dealing with them, oh dear, distressing. So I tell you, the God who comforts the downcast comforted us. This is working together with God, isn't it? Where is this sentence?
But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus.(2 Corinthians 7:6)
Why? Titus brought back good news, saying, Apostle Paul, they read your letter, and they wept. Wow, they tore their clothes and wept. Paul was comforted. I tell you, when someone is willing to purify themselves, the pastor's heart will be happy. Today I tell you, if you want to purify yourselves, if you want to walk on the path of working together with God, I tell you, I am really happy, that is really happy. Originally, he was gasping for breath, crestfallen, on the verge of giving up, look, about to give up, finished, finished, the Corinthian church is finished. Oh no, no, I have to pray, God, turn it around. God worked together with Paul. For the sake of Paul's comfort, God did a miraculous work.
Causing the Corinthians to suddenly repent because of a letter that was difficult to read. This is working together with God. Isn't it? The Spirit of God is purifying the church. The Spirit of God is also working in you. How does the Spirit of God work in people? We really cannot interpret it with our own wisdom. How did God suddenly change Esau's mind about Jacob? We cannot understand it at all. Isn't it? We cannot understand at all that Jacob caused trouble, but the people around him no longer pursued him. Just a distance of twenty or thirty kilometers. We really cannot understand God. You are so wonderful. Your deeds are so wonderful, exceeding what we ask or think, beyond us, beyond our comprehension.
So when Paul sent Titus, he did not even believe what he was saying when he sent Titus. I tell you, Titus, you go, take my letter, you go to Corinth. Their hearts are good, they really want to purify themselves. After saying that, he did not quite believe it himself. This is Paul. A person who offered himself to God, hoping to build a holy and glorious church. That person who is willing to dedicate himself, wanting to serve God, wanting to work together with God to build a holy and glorious church, will often experience this feeling. This feeling is not strange, nor is it surprising.
Therefore, if a person wants to build a church, if he wants to build a church where God is present, if he wants to work together with God, your heart must be filled with God's abundant grace. You must have God-like grace in your heart, God-like mercy, God-like vision. However, God's vision is never for the sake of being harsh for the sake of being harsh, but to allow people to receive more gifts.
I hope that everyone can purify themselves and be sanctified to serve God. Because there is nothing better than this in the world. A person may have no money, may have debts, but these things cannot stop a heart that loves God. God works with us, step by step, coming over. Truly thank God.
I thank God that he left a sentence in the Bible: God did not let any of Samuel's words fall to the ground, amazing啊! God worked together with Samuel. Samuel's words did not fall to the ground, that is not necessarily what God wanted to do. But Samuel said it, so God did it for him. Amazing, isn't it? Until today, you can still stand safely.
Perhaps it is because God has mercy on me, I often think that I choose to believe in you with faith, that you all love God. But such beliefs lead to a lot of comfort later. As it says here,
I speak to you with great boldness; I boast about you greatly. I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy.(2 Corinthians 7:4)
Can you understand? It seems not quite understandable, isn't it? It is not because the Corinthians have changed that he boasts, but because he boasts even when the Corinthians have not yet changed. Divine effect and power, infinitely good, because the Spirit of God is purifying his teachings.
Six, Sorrow according to God's will will purify oneself
Sorrow according to God's will will purify oneself. I will read it to you.
For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. Therefore, although I wrote to you, I did not do it for the sake of him who had done the wrong, nor for the sake of him who suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might be revealed to you. Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort.(2 Corinthians 7:8-13)
If you read it carefully, you may have to read it several times. Look, it says here, In all these things, you have shown yourselves to be innocent. What does that mean? Have they crystallized? They have not yet crystallized. It is that they very much want to crystallize, isn't it? Actually, brothers and sisters, you know what? I know that everyone also wants to get out of bondage, who wouldn't want to? Isn't it? Very much so, isn't it? Very much so.
But sometimes it is really just weakness. We may very much want to do good things, but often what we do does not turn out as we wish. At this time, we will blame ourselves: How could I do such a thing? Why am I weak again today? What diligence, fear, longing, and zeal torment us. Understand? Some people may think this way: Look, Paul loves us so much, how can we still be weak? This feeling may make us feel like we are in a desperate situation, not only an emotional abyss but even a moral dilemma. These unexpected emotions and behaviors make us feel extremely disgusting and troubled.
Isn't it? Self-blame. Then self-forgiveness and self-hatred. And this has purified oneself. I tell you, brothers and sisters, who doesn't want to live a holy life? Are you very consoled after I say this? Everyone wants to live a holy life, but when that weakness comes, it really needs someone to scold you a few times, doesn't it? There was a brother who went blind. When I heard it was a suffering thing.
Actually, sometimes I lead him in prayer, with tears in my eyes when I pray. Later, his eyes saw again, he recovered. After he recovered, he often became weak. But I tell you, when we give him an affirmation, he also really wants it, he is just weak. So sometimes he calls me and says, Teacher, can you scold me again. I say, There is such a thing, he likes me to scold him and feeling regretting. I will record a part of Middle Corinthians in the future. I will make up a Middle Corinthians myself and read it to you. After reading it, what will you do? Diligent self-examination, self-hatred, fear, longing, and zealous imitation.
People are really like this. So, brothers and sisters, our little pastors, our pastoral co-workers, are you willing to purify yourselves for God, and are you willing to purify the church for God, and work together with God? So that those who are shepherded will grow. For those who are pastored to grow up, it is to be before God.
To show everyone's conscience and enthusiasm again before God. When I say this, you say, Yes, yes, yes, I have enthusiasm for God in me. Yes, I want to show it. But why is it that when I do it, it turns out like that? Remember, God is working with you. God wants to purify you, you can't purify yourself by yourself, you have to rely on Jesus Christ, you must be able to strengthen yourself by the power of God.
Although we who serve are discouraged, God is faithful, and God will build you up because of you, so that we may be comforted. A kind of divine sorrow will cleanse oneself. This kind of divine sorrow will cause people to die. Many of us are sad for the things of the world, but if you are sad according to God's will, will not the Spirit of God save you?
Producing repentance is a very good feeling. Like those of us who are in debt, I really hope that you can pay off your debts as soon as possible. Who likes to live in debt? Isn't it? What makes people miserable is that in the past we were muddled, we were foolish, we were deceived, thinking that Shenzhen house prices only rise but not fall, there is no such thing. What is born today is not worldly regret, but regret according to the will of God, to purify our minds. If you have God working with you, how can you be in debt? With God's cooperation, how can it be impossible to live a prosperous life? Today, take a closer look at the people who are pleasing to God in the Bible, which one is not a prosperous person? Although they are prosperous, they do not love money.
Seven, Rejoice Now, I am confident of you in all things
Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in all things.(2 Corinthians 7:16)
And besides our own comfort, we rejoiced still more at the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. For if in anything I have boasted to him about you, I am not ashamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting to Titus was found true. And his affections are greater for you, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.(2 Corinthians 7:13-15)
In Jesus Christ, we run forward together for the same intention, the same mission. We have put off the sins that entangled us in the world. We define ourselves to be holy, to purify ourselves, to remove all filth from body and spirit, to be sanctified for God. I rejoice.
Then I can be confident of you in all things. What wonderful words. The words I boasted of you have come true. May God grant me grace and remember me. Also, like Samuel, I have said that he does not allow Samuel to say a word is not fulfilled. Who should be it? It is in this world. It is to be in this world, in this dirty and filthy world, to be able to live out God's glorious appearance.
Become holy and be accepted by God. If brothers and sisters all run towards this way, I don't need to worry about your debts anymore. Because God will definitely solve it. I will no longer worry about the dirt and filth in your heart, because you will
When you run forward on this road without being restricted by anything, you will see the presence of God, until one day we stand together before God, I will say: Ah, you are here, thank God. God will remember our labor.
May God bless everyone.
