Let us revisit the Book of Daniel together. While we do so, I would like to ask everyone: After reading the Book of Daniel, what impressed you the most? In the past few days, some of our brothers and sisters have set God aside due to their busy work schedules. Actually, is our faith in the Lord a burden or an assistance to us? If we cannot even sort this out, then we will set aside our faith whenever we encounter problems.

After reading the Book of Daniel, can we summarise one thing? Daniel served as prime minister, chief administrator, for three dynasties and four generations. He should have been busier than you and me, especially serving before the emperor, which was no joke. However, Daniel peacefully served emperors of three dynasties and four generations, from the Babylonian dynasty to the Persian dynasty. You will find that no matter how busy Daniel was, he would always pray well before God and seek God.

Where did Daniel's extraordinary wisdom and intelligence come from? The Bible says that Daniel's wisdom was ten times that of ordinary people, which means that Daniel's extraordinary wisdom came from God. If Christians are still unclear about the matter of spending time with the Lord, then you cannot be like Daniel, and being a Christian is of little use. If you are a fool today, with a dull mind, then wouldn't it be troublesome?

Some time ago, I met a sister who said something to me that made me feel agitated for a while. She said, I only have so much time in a day. If I use it for ministry, I cannot work. If I use it for ministry, I cannot tutor my children's homework. After hearing this, I felt that she was not like Daniel. In fact, living is a very simple thing.

A sister told me that someone she was ministering to had just made an investment when the pandemic hit, and all the investment went down the drain, leaving him with a lot of debt. I told this sister, Don't give foolish advice. The problem is not about how good your advice is, but what he has inside him. He is not a blessed person. No matter how good the idea is, it will be ruined in his hands. Others make money when they do things, but he loses money because he is under a curse. Therefore, as Christians, we must be blessed Christians no matter what.

Putting God First Brings Great Favour

If our minds are filled with thoughts like, My time must be used to do this, so I cannot minister, then you cannot be like Daniel. Daniel put God first. Do you think it delayed his work as prime minister? It did not. Daniel's extraordinary wisdom, such as interpreting dreams, and his ability to handle complex matters in the Babylonian kingdom, all came from God. In the Bible, it is said to be greatly loved. We read in the Book of Daniel that God reigns in the kingdoms of men. If this is the case, then are the kingdoms of Media and Persia under God's control? Can God not manage the small things in your life? So I am very moved.

As we summarise the Book of Daniel, I want to ask you, what is in your mind? If your mind is filled with human logic, you will follow human logic. For example, If my time is used for prayer, I cannot do other things. This is human logic. If we use Daniel's logic, it is that God reigns in the kingdoms of men. No matter who he is, God reigns in the kingdoms of men. If we do not have such an attitude, it will be difficult for us to walk the path of faith.

If you ask me, what about you? I never served as prime minister, but I was a senior manager in a company. However, I received God's grace and favour before God. Therefore, God made everything I did prosper, and I solved many problems. The issue is that from the day I believed in the Lord, I had a concept: If God is God, I will trust in Him well.

We must begin to adjust ourselves. He is God, and we are men. Do we not need God? If He is God and we are men, and we have a good relationship, will not all problems be solved? Some people set God aside when they are busy, and as a result, they lose a lot of money after being busy. I have seen many such things and am very moved. If people do not establish a Godly logical system and only live in human logic, it is a tragedy.

It is a tragedy if people do not know the reality of the spiritual realm. Whether we believe in the reality of the spiritual realm in our bones determines whether we can prosper and do things well, because this is all determined by victory in the spirit. Therefore, there is a saying in the Bible: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. If the spirit does not prosper, all things do not prosper. Is this not fatal? This is for Christians. If you are not a Christian, you do not need to listen to this. Daniel had extraordinary wisdom and intelligence. If you look closely at those who are after God's heart, Daniel, Joseph, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, these many people who pleased God, all had extraordinary wisdom and intelligence.

If people have extraordinary wisdom and intelligence, making money is a small matter. In the Bible, those who have a Daniel-like way of thinking can find favour in the eyes of their bosses. This is called great favour. How could Daniel become a person of great favour? He never worshipped idols, even at the risk of his life. He never compromised. Daniel and his three friends were all such people.

Daniel faced many challenges. Faced with each challenge, he chose to persevere in trusting God. As a result, he was promoted and prospered after each challenge. Promotion and prosperity here do not mean that they loved money, but because they loved God and never compromised to worship idols, no matter how great the challenge they faced, they persisted in this way. Because they clearly knew that God reigns in the kingdoms of men.

Daniel's three friends would never worship idols. They were very clear, My God will surely deliver me from your hand. They said to the emperor, Even if my God does not deliver us from your hand, I will never worship idols. Later, they were thrown into the fiery furnace. As a result, they could not be burned. They came out of the furnace, and those who threw them into the furnace were burned instead.

Our attitude is very important. What kind of attitude do we have? Many people come to us wanting to solve their financial problems, not wanting to solve the problem of human blessing and curse. This kind of attitude cannot solve the problem. Some people only want to solve the problem of disease. Even if you solve it this time, what about the future? There are many diseases in a person's life that no one can stop.

The key to solving the problem is to be a Christian like Daniel and his three friends. Daniel also faced some challenges. Others did not allow him to pray, but he opened the window to pray. As a result, he was arrested and thrown into the lion's den. You can do this if you are Daniel, but of course I do not encourage you to open the window to pray. The king was very distressed for Daniel. He needed Daniel to work for him. The next day, the king ran to the lion's den and shouted, Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions? Daniel was fine and was brought up from the lion's den. The king threw those who framed Daniel into the lion's den, and they were devoured by the lions.

What kind of person are we? I once shared with everyone that I have been a Christian for more than twenty years and have never missed a Sunday. It is not that I am not busy on Sundays. I manage many computer systems, but nothing has ever happened on Sundays, because God reigns in the kingdoms of men. I do not believe that God cannot manage it. Sunday time is fixed. I gave this time to my God.

I attend small group Bible studies without fail. Do not think that their Bible studies are so good. I go to believe in the Lord. It does not matter if they do not study well. I read my Bible well. If I do not go to the meeting at this time, I will not please God. If everyone does not go, the church will be finished. I know I need God. If you do not know that you need God, you are in trouble.

I am anxious for our brothers and sisters. They finally drove away the demons, but then they called them back. I have ministered to such people. She has 100% confidence in her healing, but this is not true faith like Daniel's. She said, I have to tutor my children from 8:30 to 10:30, so I cannot minister during this time.

In fact, many people need ministry at this time. She said that she has to go to bed at 11:00, so she only has half an hour to minister. What are you doing? You might as well not minister at all. Later, the demons came back to find her, and we ministered to her again. When we minister to her, nothing happens, but when she has to minister to others, she has a lot of excuses. Children's homework is very important. Can children's homework bring her the future? People should not be stupid!

In this generation, when a coronavirus comes, even if you have a doctorate or are a dean, you cannot stop the virus. With a snap, life comes to an end. When those who contracted the coronavirus were young, did they not do their homework and go to tutoring well? It is brain damage for people to live in this state. People must know that God reigns in the kingdoms of men. We all need God. If we put Him first in our lives, we will not say those rogue words. Not only do we hear the rogue words we say, but God also hears them. If God sends a demon to disturb you, how will you live? I do not know.

If we do this at this time, other things will be delayed. This is a human logical system. We must know that if we spend so much time praying, making money, living, and working will not be delayed. What we do is very meaningful, because we need God. A sister who manages many companies said, Even if I manage so many companies and am so busy, I must have time to minister. I said in my heart, May God bless you. If we put ministry first in our lives and save time for work and sleep, will it not be good for God to solve the remaining problems for us? If there is no disaster, there is no epidemic, and we save a lot of time.

If you are a person who loves God and is blessed by God, will not even the offspring of your body and the offspring of your livestock be blessed? This is very important. If you cannot turn the corner, you can continue to go your own way. Today, people in the world, whether they end with a period or a comma, toss back and forth in their lives, it is just a matter of values.

We Must Clearly Know That We Need God

Daniel was greatly loved because he focused on the kingdom of God, he focused on the temple of God, and he focused on the things of the future. He did not live in this life. You can live however you want in this life, but I must please my God no matter what. What he focused on was very interesting. He was a minister of a country and was very busy. As a result, he discovered that it was recorded in the Book of Jeremiah that the number of seventy years was about to be fulfilled. He fasted, wore sackcloth and ashes, and prayed to God, asking God to visit Jerusalem, to visit His temple, to visit His people. He interceded before God for the entire people of Israel, confessing and repenting. Why would he do this? Because he knew that it was God's will.

The temple of God is the church of God. You are following us online. This is the church of God, not a building. When Daniel heard these things, he put down his work and fasted, prayed, and wore sackcloth and ashes before God. He did this even if it delayed his work. Daniel was like this. Will his children take the college entrance examination? They will take the college entrance examination. He did this even if it delayed his children. Because Daniel clearly knew that he needed God.

Today, when you look at the brothers and sisters believing in the Lord, they believe in the Lord when they have time, and they set God aside when they do not have time. Sometimes I am moved. How many people are willing to be like Daniel? Okay, if you cannot be like Daniel, can you be like me? It is also okay to be like me! I clearly know that I cannot live without God in this life. I can live without anything, but I cannot live without God.

Some time ago, another sister told me, I have three children, and I don't have that much time. Among us, there are many with three children, there are many with three, two, and four children, and they still believe in the Lord. She said, Can you introduce me to them? I said, No need. What can you do by being introduced to them? Can it solve people's problems? Right? If you want to learn, learn from Daniel in the Bible. Is it not enough to learn? Stop giving yourself a reasonable excuse.

Daniel wore sackcloth and ashes, fasted and prayed, and prayed before God, mourning for three weeks, a total of twenty-one days. Can it not delay work? But he knew what he was living for. His goals were different from yours. Daniel knew that people live and die anyway. In any case, he had to hold on to God tightly. He was very clear about this. If Daniel had not done this, could he have served for three dynasties and four generations? How many people can serve for three dynasties and four generations today? Even in a company, if you change a boss, the employees below will be almost fired, right? Daniel clearly knew that doing this was called being smart.

Some time ago, I went to a place and met a local pastor. I attended Sunday service with him. I asked him, Where are your children? He said, My children can't come. I said, Why can't they come? He said, My children are preparing for the college entrance examination! After hearing this, I thought to myself, May God have mercy. Later, I learned that his children did not pass the exam. Why not? You provoke God's anger. What can you do?

Loving God Will Solve All Our Problems

Daniel was concerned about God's kingdom, he was concerned about God's temple. If there were a Daniel today, he would be concerned about God's church, God's people. What are we concerned about? We are concerned about our work, always feeling that if we lose our job, how will we live? Did Daniel get fired? Did he lose his job? Nothing of the sort. In fact, he did not care about his career.

There was also a man named Nehemiah, he was very impressive, giving up his government position to become governor of Judah. He put aside his governor's duties to build the city walls and repair the temple, and he lived a good life. Everyone must remember that God reigns in the kingdoms of men. Doesn't loving God solve many problems? But many people just do not know that loving God is the key to solving our problems.

Some time ago, there was a brother who disappeared when he got busy, just occupied with his own affairs. His leader came to me and said, Why is he like this? I said, Let him learn his lesson slowly, busily losing money, and he will understand when he loses money. Are you going to be a Daniel, or an 'Elidan,' or a fool? I encourage everyone not to be fools. An unripe melon is called a raw melon, you cannot eat it because it's not ripe inside. An immature person is an immature Christian, with eyes only for their projects, business, children, studies, all these things. Even if you try hard, you can't stop the devil from making trouble for you. If the devil makes trouble for you, without God's protection, what will you use to defend yourself? You can't defend.

Why did Daniel do this? Because Daniel knew the end of mankind. He not only knew the end of mankind, but even if he did not live to see that day, he knew that one day he would kick the bucket. And when the last days come, God will say, He will rise and enjoy his blessings. Daniel had the concept of eternal life. Many of us do not have the concept of eternal life, living one day at a time, one day less to live. When you live one day less, how do you feel? Some people have only six hours to live, but they still live earnestly. Without eternal life, all that earnestness is in vain.

Recently, many people have died, a period has been put, and all their dreams have been shattered. If we know that our life is short, if we know that when we close our eyes and kick the bucket, everything will become empty, why are we still so competitive in this short time we have to live? Why not compete earnestly in the matter of believing in the Lord?

One Must Know the Future Outcome

If you have no distant worries, you will have immediate troubles. Daniel cared very much about what the future would be like. And God revealed the future to him, gave him revelations. Do not be a short-sighted person. If you are short-sighted, you cannot walk with God. If you are a short-sighted person, you cannot have blessings or be blessed. I feel sad when I see many short-sighted people like this. Without future revelation, without the ability of foresight, not knowing what the future holds, just living like that every day, that is really terrible!

I feel that seeking the future is very important. We must know what the future outcome will be, knowing that people will rise from the dead, some to eternal life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. If you are a wise person, you will shine like the stars forever and ever. If you are a despised person, living only for this life, not obtaining eternal life, you will be greatly shamed and thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur. Your spirit is immortal and will be in a state of deep suffering forever.

Daniel saw those kings do as they pleased, arrogant and self-righteous, and the result was that they were destroyed, stumbled and fell, and came to nothing. Their plans did not succeed, and at the appointed time, things came to an end. People do as they please, not knowing how to fear God, just like Belshazzar, the son of King Nebuchadnezzar, who was very arrogant. God wrote words on the wall for him to see, and he trembled in fear. What was he arrogant about? As a result, he was killed that very day.

What is there to be arrogant about in this world? There is nothing to be arrogant about, including the king of the South and the king of the North, all eventually come to nothing. Like 《Romance of the Three Kingdoms》, the people in it all came to nothing. Even the heroes Cao Cao and Liu Bei were useless. People must see these things clearly, and then they will not be so arrogant. If people oppose God, they will have countless troubles and suffer greatly. How can there be a good end?

《Daniel》 is very difficult to read, like a heavenly book. After reading it, I really thank my God that He has repeatedly given me revelations. Combined with 《Revelation》, I see it more and more clearly, and today we are in the last days of the world. I have always held to a concept, that reading the Bible must seek God's will. I have been seeking God's will, and it turns out that God's will is to let us know that some people will stumble and fall and come to nothing; or this king will be destroyed in a few days; or at the appointed time, the plans will not succeed and things will come to an end. It turns out that God reigns in the kingdoms of men, and the things you do have little meaning.

Why did God write it so detailed? I think our God often plays a little humor with us. God hides the meaning He wants to express in these things. He said to Daniel, But you, Daniel, roll up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will run here and there to increase knowledge. Only the wise will understand. This is similar to the parables that the Lord Jesus spoke, those who seek, God will tell them. I feel that interpreting the Bible must read out God's will, and this is crucial.

Conclusion

We have summarized 《Daniel》 and know what kind of person Daniel was. Are we willing to do our best to be like Daniel? Will we be as interested in future events and God's plans as Daniel was? Do we know God's will? Do we know that God reigns in the kingdoms of this world? The history of the world will pass away, shouldn't we consider everything as refuse, so that we may gain Jesus Christ?

These words are a bit heavy, but I still encourage everyone to be wise people, not foolish people. Foolish people, besides inviting disaster, curses, and demons, there is no benefit. At the end of the world, people will rise from the dust, some to eternal life, some to shame, what about you? Will you be among those who have eternal life, or among those who are shamed? Are you a wise person or a foolish person? If you are a wise person, you will see the matter of living clearly and will no longer be bound by children's studies, daily necessities, or business.

Some people will murmur, Are you helping me solve problems? I cannot solve them, but we have God! You encounter so many things, shouldn't you think about it? Don't you know that God reigns in the kingdoms of men? We value what God values, wouldn't we all live in blessings? Isn't God's will for us to live a prosperous and blessed life? If so, shouldn't we put God first in our lives? We must know for sure that God reigns in the kingdoms of men!
