I. Introduction

Good day to all! Today, I will address a topic concerning Satan, entitled Get thee behind me, Satan. The saga of Satan is a long one. In those days, we suddenly embarked on a dragon-slaying spree, a tale of youthful dragon slayers. Then, some individuals within the church, seemingly possessed by the spirit of the dragon, would leap up and proclaim themselves as暴龍 (Tyrannosaurus Rex). Another would follow suit, turning the church into a scene akin to the Asian Games, with people running and chasing. I was quite excited then, as I had never engaged in such activities. I thought to myself, “Ah, slaying dragons to get to Satan.

Later, we discovered that these dragons were prone to exaggeration. What seemed like a formidable dragon turned out to be a mere lizard, and eventually, we realised it was just an earthworm dragon. When I recount these events, people often feign ignorance. Demons, too, enjoy exaggerating, with minor devils impersonating閻王 (King of Hell). After much ado, just when we were about to confront Satan, excitement would build, only to be deflated as it turned out to be a false alarm. The anticipation, though, was always somewhat enjoyable. So, where exactly is Satan? Satan, come out and face me! But no one ever responded, hiding away so deeply.

What does Satan look like, I wondered? Grimacing and menacing? No. Disfigured and grotesque? No. In fact, I tell you, Satan is incredibly beautiful, as the Bible states. Moreover, he is articulate, considerate, and gentle. Did you think otherwise? Satan is very much a gentleman. When Satan approached Jesus, he did not seize Him by the collar or pull His hair.

Such behaviour – women grabbing each other's necks and hair, in a chaotic brawl – is the stuff of old women, not Satan. Satan appeared before Jesus in a most gentlemanly manner, saying, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. See? Isn't Satan the epitome of a gentleman? After three rounds of dialogue, Satan departed without any physical altercation, without so much as leaving Jesus with a black eye. No, the exchanges are quite sophisticated, as is typical of高手 (High-level experts).

Thus, in the past years, we have exorcised demons time and again, resolving many issues. But consider: have we resolved more issues, or are there still more unresolved? Of course, the unresolved outweigh the resolved. How much have we truly solved? Many problems remain. I am aware of my limitations, my spiritual stature is insufficient; otherwise, I would have truly confronted Satan. As many issues remain, I am keen to strive for resolution. Do you know what I desire to resolve most? Human愚蠢 (Stupidity). How can people be so foolish, so silly? What傻蛋 (Silly eggs)!

As I sought to address this, through continuous research, exploration, and understanding, I discovered that people themselves are the root of all their problems. This time, I believe I am getting to Satan. Why? Because Satan caters to人的意思 (Human intentions). Consider when you become enraged. If you are demoted at work, and a friend mentions it, triggering a fiery response that leads you to seek retribution, is this not the case? Satan himself is not so foolish, yet you are being manipulated. Therefore, I began to study Satan, starting with Jesus. The dialogue between Jesus and Satan is most intriguing. After Jesus fasted for forty days, Satan appeared, saying:

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. (Matthew 4:3)

When I was newly converted, I thought, Just transform them! What's the fuss? I will show you! That was me, but Jesus did not act thus.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

I wondered, Jesus, why not turn the stones into bread to show him? You are indeed the Son of God! Yet Jesus did not act thus. To this day, I ponder this event. How did He overcome Satan? If thou be the Son of God, turn the stones into bread! Go on! Did you not feed five thousand with five loaves and two fishes? Did you not feed four thousand with seven loaves and two fishes? Why not do it now? Sometimes He does, sometimes He doesn't. Jesus is adept at parrying with Satan. Yet, several of Satan’s replies to Jesus are in a similar vein. Who are we studying today? We are studying the dialogue between Jesus and Peter.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. (Matthew 16:21-23)

The title of today's message comes from this: Get thee behind me, Satan!

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:15-18)

One moment, He says, You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; the next, Peter, this is not your own doing, but the revelation from my Father in heaven. Peter appears so spiritual one moment, then is called Satan the next, becoming a Janus-faced figure. For all his life, Peter savours the idea of living. I wondered, What did Peter say? How did he become Satan? It is still a matter of the高手 (High-level experts) trading moves. We must ponder this bit by bit. Eventually, we come to this crucial phrase: Thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. I tell you, to savour 人的意思 (Human intentions) is to be in league with Satan.

Have we confronted Satan today? If you savour 人的意思 (Human intentions), relying on this throughout your life, you will become a傻蛋 (Silly egg) in Satan’s grasp. He is called Satan, you are called 傻蛋 (Silly egg), and you end up as a双黄蛋 (Double-yolk egg). Then, you contain Satan, and Satan contains you. How much better it is to be in Jesus, and Jesus in me! All these savour 人的意思 (Human intentions).

I ask you, what do classmates say when they meet? Human words. What are they tending towards? 人的意思 (Human intentions). What do old friends say? Human words, all about 人 的意思 (Human intentions). How deeply hidden is Satan! As long as you live according to 人的意思 (Human intentions), every aspect of society is under Satan’s control. Consider family gatherings – talk of houses and cars: My car has smart driving features; Huawei's M5 has great science and technology; My new energy vehicle... Discussions revolve around business, making big money, who you know, and what connections you have.

Chinese conversations can be quite interesting. They say, I have this relationship with some high official; he was my father's secretary. Someone else chimes in, I know him too; he climbed to that position entirely because of me. The environment within the Chinese bureaucracy is quite amusing. Another says, He is my old leader. Someone else interjects, Ah, he is my old leader too. So they have all come from the same mentor, and the term old leader carries special connotations in China. Talking about who you know, what connections you have – but never, You look ill; what happened? Are you in trouble? When will you die? Why are you still alive? What kind of talk is that? Unseemly.

Especially for those in officialdom, retirement is not necessarily a good thing, for it means a loss of power. Those of my age begin to discuss retirement upon meeting: six up, seven down for some, five not up, six down for others. Thus, I have studied the matter of living for a long time, and I have observed a strange phenomenon: the incidence of dementia is on the rise. Visit a nursing home, and you will find many taking medication for schizophrenia while spending their elderly years there.

I am taken aback; I did not see so many cases of dementia in my childhood. Perhaps those with dementia died before they went senile, and modern people live longer. But I recall many octogenarians in my old neighbourhood who, although having minor ailments, were not senile. Now, it is not uncommon to see people in their fifties or sixties with dementia. The other day, I visited a nursing home and saw an old woman in her sixties singing all day long. The person in charge told me that she was mentally ill. Why is it that with better conditions, more people are suffering from dementia? Developed countries also face a rise in learning disabilities among children. Eventually, I realised that with societal progress, people are increasingly savouring themselves.

In my generation, winters in Northeast China reached minus thirty degrees Celsius; there was no heating. We would quickly secure two tons of coal in the autumn and start working. Two tons of coal was a huge pile, and two thousand catties of cabbage and two hundred catties of potatoes had to be stored in the cellar. Every year it was the same. There was no time for dementia, because we worked so hard. In minus thirty degrees Celsius, without a fire, you would have frozen to death. So, people in those days lived diligently but did not suffer from dementia; people today who do not live as diligently become senile. Therefore, as long as people savour themselves, problems increase.

People spoil their children through excessive care; children who are rich from a young age are indulged. No parents want to ruin their children, but this indulgence causes problems. These issues are all related to savouring的人的意思 (Human intentions). How wicked is Satan? Savouring leads to obesity, with some weighing two hundred catties, some three hundred, thankfully, none four hundred. All these matters are linked to savouring, all these matters are linked to Satan's work. Satan does not particularly enjoy pulling your hair or tearing at your neck; that's not his style. Satan releases a lie and stands by, laughing. That is the move of a master. Satan offers you comfort, lets you live pleasantly, and corrupts you.

People should study these matters. Why? Because they want to live well. The more they try to live well by coddling themselves, the worse they live; the less they try to live well, the better they live. The ancients said, We do not know life, how can we know death? I say it the other way around: We do not know death, how can we know life? If you do not know that your end is an urn for your ashes, you will live earnestly. Knowing that my end is an urn for my ashes, I despise living. I see God's glory in eternity through the urn. I do not want to live like that, and the matter is resolved immediately.

It is the same with conversations. I always stumble when I try to talk about these things with people. When I say, Why haven't I died yet? they are concerned with how to care for their elders; I'm concerned with why bother, just die sooner to be done with it all. See? We are talking at cross-purposes. Jesus and Peter spoke at cross-purposes: Jesus said, I must go there to die; Peter said, That cannot be. One views living with clarity, saying, I will suffer, be killed, then rise from the dead and attain God's glory, which is so wonderful; the other says, That cannot be. In the end, everyone dies. Peter is not alive until the present day; your concern is useless.

Eventually, I concluded that to deal with Satan, one must resolve the matter of death. If your understanding of death aligns with Jesus' understanding, I died, I resurrected, I attained God's glory, that is wonderful. For those who say, That cannot be, death still comes in the end. The senile elders in nursing homes are diligently and earnestly living, some in their nineties counting money, only to lose the ability to count and recognise people, unable to feel pain when they bump their heads. Such is how a person lives.

Therefore, you have only one root problem: on what do you rely for living? If you live according to 人的意思 (Human intentions), you become corrupted by Satan, becoming a傻瓜蛋子 (Foolish egg). Some dislike being called 傻瓜蛋子 (Foolish egg). My sermons sometimes use crude language; that is my style. I ask those under my pastoral care, Is your brain filled with poo? Because I speak like this usually, they do not see poo as being something untoward anymore. But newcomers cannot abide it.

Some time ago, one sister came for a while, then left, then returned. Why? She couldn't bear the silly talk. She thought it was permissible for her to be silly啦吧唧 (Silly b), but not for them to be said. Is that not silly? When I said that her head was filled with poo, that she had a heart the size of a nut and a brain the size of a peanut, she couldn't take it. In fact, she was just that, but I said it. After a while, she discovered that her husband was mentally ill and fearful. Her father was scammed, and her mother had cancer. Heaven! Is that not silly啦吧唧 (Silly b)? Too much coddling of 人的意思 (Human intentions).

Why do I say such harsh words? I hope that everyone awakens; I say it on purpose. I usually speak in a more refined manner, but when it comes to prompting people to break free, I use strong language. Half a year later, she returned. Why? It was too difficult! Her husband has schizophrenia, is fearful of going out. Her father was scammed out of money and is involved with other women. Her mother has cancer. How could she live like that? Later, her pastor shared a video with me showing her husband going to the market, imitating my Genesis sermon, and doing quite well. He was slowly getting back on track. How did he get on track? Because he no longer coddled 人的意思 (Human intentions), no longer lived according to 人 的意思 (Human intentions), but according to the word of God.

Therefore, this sermon, Get thee behind me, Satan, addresses the intentions that people are born with. Know that people are born with self-awareness, but I am telling you that innate qualities are largely useless. What to do? Learn after birth! Learn that this is Satan, this corrupts people, this caters to 人 的意思 (Human intentions). What a person is born with is useless; the word of God learned after birth is useful. Today, I hope that our brothers and sisters will rise up again, rise up and press Satan to the ground, no longer listening to his words, and begin to live according to God's will.

I tell you, in your life, you don't need to care about living; God will surely supply all that we need. From now on, you don't need to worry, not even about old age. Just worry about one thing: am I living according to God's word? According to God's word, God prepares everything for us, and we carry the hope of glory in eternity, no longer bound by the small confines of the urn. Although you have not yet entered that urn, your mind is trapped in that small space, and you end up with a heart the size of a peanut and a brain the size of a walnut. Therefore, our brothers and sisters must live according to the words spoken by Jesus.

II. Scripture

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: This shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16:21-28)

III. Prayer

God, today, let us live with the glorious hope of eternity. God, today, let us no longer savour the trivial matter of living, but let us single-mindedly savour God's intention. God, may Your glorious plan be fulfilled in us. God, may Your will be accomplished in us. God, may You rescue us from all carnal constraints, let us no longer obey the lies of the Devil Satan. God, today let us be victorious, acting according to Your will, even if death is our fate, we choose Your eternal glory. God, we emulate You; Lord Jesus, today lead us on this glorious path of the cross. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

IV. Scripture Background

The background of this scripture is quite interesting. Jesus and his disciples were going somewhere, and Jesus said: You must guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. (Matthew 16:5-6)

After hearing this, the disciples mistakenly believed that they had not brought bread. This is quite a divergence! I do not understand it. Jesus said: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and they thought he was talking about the yeast for making 面 (Noodles), thinking that the Pharisees were major chefs in the kitchen and the Sadducees made the 面 (Noodles). No, they were not involved in cooking.

These things are quite amusing at times. For example, a child sees an image of Chairman Mao hanging in a restaurant and asks who he is. He doesn't know; he thinks it's the chef. People are easily diverted to such an extent that that entire day they are thinking about 面 (Noodles), chefs and making 面 (Noodles). They did not bring the 面 (Noodles), and Jesus was saddened, saying: You of little faith, your minds are full of 面 (Noodles)! They had just experienced the feeding of five thousand with five loaves and two fishes, and the feeding of four thousand with seven loaves and two fishes. They had forgotten and only had chefs on their mind.

Today, people eat what when going out? People from Wuhan eat hot dry 面 (Noodles); people from Shanxi eat biangbiang 面 (Noodles); and people from Singapore just eat instant noodles. Jesus said you do not believe. Don't you understand? Do you not remember the five loaves given to five thousand and seven loaves given to four thousand, and how many scraps were left over? I say be careful of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees, wasn't that concerning food at all. You are full of 面 (Noodles) in your heads. You will ruin yourself if your brain becomes a 面 (Noodles).

The disciples then understood that Jesus was not telling them to beware of the leaven in bread but to guard against the unbelief of the Pharisees and Sadducees. This problem immediately highlighted what thing? That to do the business of living is made particularly complicated. Why? Because they do not know God can provide everything. Today, brothers and sisters, you must understand why you are making living so complicated. You do not know that God has already prepared all that a person needs to live. Doing money to the left, doing money to the right, so busy enough to choke, with PTP defrauding away a whole lot. What a person fears most in life is doing money everywhere. Why should people do money? Just like the disciples' heads full of Bings (cakes), to have food to eat must have the biscuits.

Jesus said to Satan: people live on every word that comes from the mouth of God. God's mouth and the words have no cakes in them? Each language certainly contains Bing and has to eat them. If now I gave you the greatest comfort is that the person in your life will not be deficient. Do you believe this? You said then how can I believe this, I still owe so many hundreds of thousands! I said you owe how much? and the victim answers they were defrauded because they were a new investment opportunity. Some time ago, one person was swindled out of three million. But because God was good to him there was now only eighty thousand remaining.

People do not need to toss and turn, to be good and love God, then work with feet on the ground, then you will find little by little that you have everything. You would be capable to see God's mysterious and wondrous providence. The disciples, following Jesus, bought expensive boat tickets, one train ticket would cost at the minimum 1/2 of the salary. In those days, you had to struggle, you could barely make ends meet.

I read an interesting story as a child about a woman in a village who was dying of illness. Her husband asked what she hoped for. After seeing the play, tears would instantly well up -- too tragic. The woman desired to see a train. So her husband hitched up a barrow and had her laid in the carriage, and so pulled her 20 odd kilometers to see a train. What's so attractive? People's hope is to see a train, and they can contentedly close their eyes with peace.

People are thus, in the life hope is to see these things. If you really entrust yourself to God, you shall have all, and you need never fear that everything shall need to be provided and fear that you shall not be there and that you will not be able to be fed, and I also pray for little ones (to be provided for), so all are contained within, who provides that? is that God provides is to be afraid that you shall not believe. After listening to all what the disciples said they still did not budge from their former mindset, how I ask if today you all understood and so did you all understand, and in conclusion did you understand them.

Finally, Jesus went to the disciples and asked: say you who am I? and Peter says you that you are the Christ and the Son, and so you are the Messiah that is to come, and the Messiah comes to the world to suffer the world and to be resurrected, and so may we triumph over the world, and may the people triumph and that way is the ultimate gateway is to spread the world. The result is to understand the Messiah, and yet did know what the Messiah comes to do. Next you are known as Peter, and one of the apostles has become known as Peter.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:18-19)

I know the word that used to be for the original language of it used the word rock. Should a god build the church on what is little? You are just a little more small in terms of stones,

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.” (Matthew 16:22-23)

One moment, it’s: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church; the next, it’s: Get behind me, Satan! Where's the crux of the matter? It all lies in the认知 and reactions within a person. At that moment, Peter brought out his human ways. We analyze this thoroughly today. If he brought out his human ways, he became Satan. If you harbour half-Satan and half-God's word within, then seize the Satanic half today and turn it to God, single-mindedly focusing on God's will, no longer indulging human concerns.

Peter's reaction is too诡异. Did Peter have a heart to build the church? No. Jesus said, I will build my church on this rock. What is this rock? It is Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection on the third day. That is the rock. Utterly defeating the one who holds the power of death, and then thoroughly acting according to God's will. What's the result? Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.

Oh, Satan is here. I've finally found you; you were hiding deep. Today, brothers and sisters, let's deal with human concerns. What exactly do you have inside? Is there truly God's word? Is there a foundation of God's word? If you are willing, then do as Jesus said.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24)

This is about resolving the problem. How can you overcome Satan? This is how you overcome Satan. Since ancient times, few have overcome Satan. Not to mention Satan, few have even overcome old 老马, the third-in-command of Satan's household. Do you believe in the solution today? If you believe, and all your needs in life are met in Jesus Christ, would you still indulge human concerns for these things? If you believe, then today you must follow Jesus, deny yourself, and take up your cross to follow God.

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.” (Matthew 16:25-28)

So, people like Peter, who have two sets of things inside them, are schizophrenic. One moment, willing to die for Jesus; the next, not recognizing Jesus. What is this? Peter gives us a very good example. How many Peters, big and small, do we have? Once a person has two systems within, they become hypocritical, and will not maintain a pure gospel for the sake of Jesus Christ. But the Apostle Paul did. So today, someone who acknowledges Jesus Christ as the Son of God, but still thinks the Son of God will establish a Davidic dynasty on earth, where they can obtain an official position with wealth and glory - isn't that ruinous? What kind of logic is that? Isn't that what Satan said when tempting Jesus？

“All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:9)

Can a person pursue this? If a person pursues this, wouldn't they be ruined? Two logical systems. How stubborn is human logic! But today, do you want to demolish this logic within you? Many years ago, when I was praying with a sister, I saw a pagoda, like the Leifeng Pagoda by West Lake, a structure that can stand for thousands of years without falling. Very impressive.

At the time, I was very puzzled. What is this pagoda? I thought it was related to some religion. I asked, God, what is this? God said, It is the logical system of the world. I said, Why a pagoda? Because it stands for thousands of years without falling, with interconnected rings, it is extraordinarily 견실, and very firm. So, brothers and sisters, you must know how firm the worldly logic system released by the devil Satan is. Yesterday, when I told someone about the miracles I had performed, they explained it to me, Isn't this intention? He was speculating wildly. That's not intention, that's God.

So today, we have the secret to strike the devil Satan. The secret to overcoming Satan is these few words. If you can do according to these words, you are more than just a disciple; you are practically a saint, and you can overcome the devil Satan. Peter is a very worthwhile individual to study. I study Peter more deeply than ordinary scholars. I think I might be a little embarrassed when I see Peter in the future, but that's okay, he should be the one embarrassed. If you still have a worldly Satanic logical system within you, you must be careful, it will corrupt you.

V. Satan Only Considers Human Concerns

All this that considers human concerns comes from Satan. The earliest temptation of Adam and Eve by Satan was: Look, this fruit looks delicious, and eating it will give you wisdom, and you can distinguish good and evil, how wonderful! You can be like God. As a result, Adam and Eve foolishly ate it. Did they become like God after eating it? No, they became like demons. Humans are truly interesting. They indulge human concerns, but since they live in the flesh, they must indulge the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life. It's all this, incredibly powerful! Then it makes you forget death, forget the urn.

I tell you, some people are ninety years old, and about to go in, but still don't know. Isn't that a tragedy? Have you taken care of elders in their eighties or nineties? What's in their mind is that they don't know how many days they have left to live. If they can live to ninety-five, and they are ninety this year, then they have more than a thousand days left to live. Shouldn't you live happily? No, they nitpick this and that, full of tears and snot, all this, making you forget death, forget eternal life, and then they are extremely serious about these trivial matters of living.

The desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life are what people pursue today. How嚴密 is this logical system? Satan indulges you, but doesn't love you. It indulges you to death. Why is there so much dementia? Indulged. Why do so many children have learning disabilities? Indulged. Why are so many people傻了吧唧的? All come from indulging according to human concerns. If you want to become smart, you better discard these innate human things. The smartest of the smart is to keep and obey God's word.

Today, we recognize the devil's schemes, and recognize that Satan only indulges human concerns. If you only indulge human concerns, you will definitely be corrupted. Why are people deceived? PTP scams swindle hundreds of thousands, millions, destroying all your savings, just because of indulging human concerns. Satan directing this is very common. So in this world, you will see a very interesting phenomenon. This person may be very successful in one aspect, which you admire, but in another aspect, they may live in great torment. Because when they are successful, they feel they are amazing, the pride of life. But when they are in distress, one aspect of them has been corrupted. That's enough. Do you need more? That's how people are corrupted.

VI. The Fundamental Problem: What Do People Live By?

You must establish the concept of what people live by. Satan loves to give ideas. It gives you many ideas, all about living according to human concerns. But if a person obeys Satan's ideas, they will definitely live a corrupted life. The sister mentioned earlier, her husband was schizophrenic, her mother had cancer, her father was swindled. Her family was a mess. All these things we do are to solve this. Later, she quit her local government job and went to a new place to find a job. God also blessed her with a job, she didn't lack anything, and her situation gradually improved.

So, what do people really live by? If you live by the ideas Satan gives you, you will be ruined, indulging human concerns. What do you mean by indulging human concerns? The desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, the pride of life. If we can get rid of these things, and recognize the devil Satan's schemes, God will definitely provide what you need. Five loaves and two fish fed five thousand people, seven loaves fed four thousand people. You too will lack nothing. I can guarantee this for you, which resolves the problem of your faith.

Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. If you rely on every word that comes from the mouth of God, will you lack? You will not lack, and you will lack no good thing. Because people prepare this and that for the flesh, they have all fallen into Satan's schemes. To this day, many people prepare for living, but why is there no one preparing for death? There are many preparing for living, but not many preparing for death.

Jesus once gave an example: A steward who was about to be fired thought, What shall I do in the future? Where shall I go? Then he called all those who owed his master and said, How much wheat do you owe my master? The answer: A hundred measures. He said, Change it to fifty. Then he asked, How much silver do you owe my master? The answer: Twenty taels. He said, Change it to five taels. All were reduced. Jesus said, Look at this clever steward! Why? Because he prepared for the future. If you prepare for the future and do an immoral thing, using his master's bills to buy the future, why would Jesus approve of this? Because it is worthwhile to use unrighteous wealth to buy eternal life. If you prepare for your eternal life, no longer living according to the flesh, God will definitely say: Too clever!

You must know that there is a type of real estate in Singapore, and if this type of real estate were implemented in China, many people would pay for it. Why? There is a type of land lease called nine hundred and ninety-nine years. I once bought a house with an eight-hundred-year land lease. Can I live to eight hundred years? No. Whether it's eight hundred years or three hundred years, it has nothing to do with me. But in a place like China, if a nine-hundred-and-ninety-nine-year land lease were implemented, rich people would frantically invest in it, definitely paying for it. I don't know if it was my idea for the government, or if they had already thought of it.

But can people really live that long? The house is still there after you die. Doesn't this prove it now? Many people are comparing whether your company will still be around in a hundred years. One thing is certain, I don't know if that company will still be around, but you definitely won't be. Do you think people are foolish? Why don't people prepare for eternal life? This is the fundamental goal of living. If the fundamental goal of living is resolved, what you rely on is resolved. If you ask me, do you really believe in eternal life? Of course. I have performed so many miracles; don't I know the reality of the spiritual realm? Don't I know the grace of Jesus Christ? I must know. So, for the sake of eternal life, everything can be given!

VII. The First Way to Deal with Satan: Follow Jesus

No matter how many gurus there are in this world, none overcome Satan. What they study is basically within the realm of human logic. But what Jesus Christ transmits is a theological logical system. Chinese Mingding Destiny speaks of the theological system of Jesus Christ. The foundation is eternal life, is God. So you follow Jesus, imitate Jesus. Jesus said, I am going to Jerusalem to suffer, be killed, and rise again on the third day. Do you believe this? If you don't believe, then there's a problem.

What we believe is that Jesus Christ casts out demons today and tomorrow, and on the third day my things will be accomplished. Why follow Jesus? You come to follow Jesus, but if it's like the situation in Peter's time, with Jesus Christ being the emperor on earth, and you being a prime minister or minister in Jesus Christ's kingdom, what is that? That's a worldly logical system. You will definitely fall into Satan's trap.

VIII. The Second Way to Deal with Satan: Deny Yourself

Do you want to follow Jesus? Then deny yourself. If you live for yourself, you cannot follow Jesus. If you live for God, then deny yourself, because this road is a road to eternal life. The flesh is just a stinking shell. It is the spirit that gives us life; the flesh is of no value. Give these up. If a person gives up their life, who else can threaten you? I tell you, those who suffer from paranoia, phobias, and cancer today are all because they do not deny themselves.

If you deny yourself, do you still care? If a person who has denied themselves no longer cares about what they used to care about, that's great, that's easy! Have you denied yourself? If you care too much about yourself, you will retort when someone says something. If you don't care about yourself, and you want to be a blessing to them, what are you retorting for? So how do you rub the devil Satan into the ground? You no longer live for yourself. You follow Jesus, imitate Jesus. From now on, death can no longer overcome you. You already live in eternal life. You no longer prepare for this life.

IX. The Third Way to Deal with Satan: Take Up Your Cross

You must know what it means to take up your cross. There is a great misunderstanding about taking up the cross. Someone preaches the gospel and says, Follow me to believe in the Lord. I say, Why should I follow you to believe in the Lord? He says, Following me to believe in the Lord is good for taking up the cross. I say, I am already struggling to carry my laptop bag to work in the morning. Do I still have to carry a cross? Forget it! Wrong, it is not like a laptop bag, nor is it hanging a small cross on the laptop bag or around your neck. What is the cross for? It is to nail the evil desires of the flesh to it. Although Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit, He still took the path of the cross, offering His own flesh.

If today you offer your body as a living sacrifice to God, what will happen? You must mortify the evil desires of your flesh. Remember, Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and He rose from the dead. What came out was a glorious Jesus. Before, when He was alive, it was difficult to teleport, and to go from this side of the Sea of Galilee to the other, He had to get silver, buy a boat ticket, and take a boat, quite annoying. After He resurrected, what happened? The locked doors opened and He came in, but when they touched Jesus, He still had a physical body. Good God, beyond our imagination!

Taking up your cross is to turn the mortal into the eternal, the corruptible into the glorious. If you ask me what this is, I can't explain it, because I haven't seen it. But I believe that one day you and I will be transformed. In an instant, the corruptible will become incorruptible, the unglamorous will become full of God's glory. How wonderful is this! Deal with your own flesh. If you still have a human logical system within you, you will not be willing to walk the road of the cross. If you are willing to walk the road of the cross within you, you can deal with your fleshy desires, the desires of your eyes, and the pride of life, nail them all to the cross. From now on, it is no longer I who live, but Jesus Christ who lives in me.

I tell you, I live in this state. I used to live in great difficulty. I built a church, but it was very hard. The tears could fill three or five mineral water bottles. Why? When climbing that spiritual mountain, it was still very difficult. Later, I read Rick Joyner's book The Final Quest. He said that when you climb to Galatians 2:20, you will be amazing, and the road above will be easier to walk. Later, when I read the words It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me, suddenly one day my heart was so bright!

I cannot forget these things I experienced to this day. It was too爽, all those feelings inside were gone, very comfortable. When I climbed to that height, from that day on, I began to strike the spirit of the dragon. I can only tell you, it is really good! I can't explain it clearly. I just want to encourage everyone to climb the spiritual peaks. The feelings of entanglement and discomfort you have today may be similar to the feelings of entanglement and discomfort I had in the past. But if one day you climb this spiritual peak with me, It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me, I offer my whole heart and soul to God, how wonderful!

X. The Fourth Way to Deal with Satan: Offer Your Life to God

This is not my idea; these are all Jesus's ideas. What does it mean to offer your life?

For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? (Matthew 16:25)

Offering your life to God is like Jesus walking the road of the cross. Today, this principle is clear. What good is it to gain the whole world and end up with an urn? Who do you give all that money to? Even donating it doesn't solve the problem. But from a human perspective, Wow, so much money! So much money has nothing to do with you. People won't give it to you.

But the problem comes. This principle is clear. For two or three thousand years, there have been people who gained the whole world and lost their lives. In ancient Chinese history, there was one two thousand years ago, and another one thousand years ago, all these who lost their lives in the end. What is the benefit? Could it be that you want to repeat their path today? Moreover, you can't even gain the whole world. In the end, you worked hard and bought a house in Beijing, becoming a mortgage slave. What is the benefit? There is no benefit. From now on, start looking to God's glory!

XI. The Fifth Way to Deal with Satan: See Through Wealth and Fame

What is the benefit of gaining the whole world? Can you see through it? You offer your life to God, and from now on live in eternity. Hades cannot imprison you, the urn is no longer your end, the glory in Jesus Christ is your end. To deal with Satan, you must see through wealth and fame. What should I do? Win people as fish, bless one person, then bless another, and in the name of Jesus Christ, let the captives be released, and the oppressed go free. Tame your flesh, that's normal, and even if you recognize good and evil, I will deal with it. If you are willing to go, the sky is the limit for you to fly, and the sea is the limit for you to roam, as long as you are still among us for one day, I don't want you to fall into Satan's trap.

What is the benefit of the道理you speak; We have a sister among us who is always理;ly. To what extent is she理;ly? Her fingers hurt. She loves to理, and speaks of human 理. Can that not attract ghosts? The ghosts attract, I have to serve her. Her pastor served her according to the idea I gave her, and yesterday she told me that the tightness in her fingers had loosened a lot. Did she suffer a loss? XII. Conclusion

Long for God's glory! Because we have no hope in this world, we live in despair in this world. It is Jesus Christ who has given us the hope of glory, letting us know that death is not an urn, and letting us know that we live in eternity today, and today we long for God's glory. So Jesus said:
