The Importance of Understanding Money

The issue of money is a major one, yet it is also a minor one. The testimony shared today is interesting and somewhat related to what I am about to speak on. This is a divine arrangement. A sister's family borrowed over 200,000 in high-interest loans using her name, and then lost their jobs and fell ill. In despair, they came among us, and God miraculously turned things around!

Everyone's understanding of money is crucial. I have discovered that God is doing something in our current phase, which is to have a very essential view of things in our understanding. If you want to live a good life, the first thing is to see through life, the second is to see through death, and the third is to see through living. As long as people are alive, they spend money, like mortgages. People don't accept mortgages of ten thousand pigs, because pigs are not good collateral. Mortgaging pigs costs money, you have to feed them every day!

People are the same, like children, they are hungry again after eating. As long as people are alive, they consume, and as long as they consume, they spend money. Nothing perplexes people more than money. When Chinese people celebrate the New Year, they often say, Gong Xi Fa Cai! (Wishing you wealth!). They take the matter of getting rich very seriously. People's understanding of money is a very interesting thing.

In the past period, we have been constantly adjusting in our understanding. People's understanding of things is crucial. For example, do you have a clear understanding of money? If your understanding is unclear, you will be confused. Someone grew up in a very poor family, and he was determined to make money. After graduating from university, he really made a lot of money, but did he really live well?

My classmate's husband, he was one of the top ten outstanding youths of our generation, a very talented person. My classmate was very proud to marry him. Later, he went to Singapore, and we often hung out together. One day, her husband jumped off a building because he lost money in business. He was very talented, but money caused him great confusion. I'm giving everyone a task: carefully study the wealthy people around you, and research whether they are living well or not, and how much their lives are related to money.

Today, the Lord Jesus spoke very interestingly, you cannot serve God and serve money. In this world, there are many people who love money, because money can solve some problems, but there are many problems that cannot be solved, which is precisely the confusing part. When people are poor, money is crucial to them. But people always think they have to have money, I think you don't know the other side of money.

We Must Be Filled with the Knowledge of God in Our Understanding

Our vision is very important, people must have a clear understanding of living, death, and money. Your understanding of money is very profound for you. Today we must have an understanding of God in our understanding, and an understanding of money. We must know that it is deadly not to know in understanding. A few days ago, I served a lawyer, but he was not very good in understanding, he was confused. Later, I carefully discovered that he didn't understand things clearly when he was studying, and he didn't understand things clearly when he was working. Living to 40 years old, he found that he had been muddling through. So I taught him how to read books on law. You always have to pay back when you're out there, you can't muddle through!

For example, doing business, it is deadly not to know how money comes from, so you can't continue to muddle through! All things have their inner essence, we cannot have a careless attitude towards the matter of people living. In the past period of time, I have been constantly raising the requirements for brothers and sisters, and I have found that their understanding of things is in a hazy, vague state.

My understanding of things is never careless, I am very serious, this is a habit. We should all develop such a habit. A brother among us was renovating his house, when he was scraping the white wall, he came with a small pot, how long would it take to finish, the efficiency was very low! Because he didn't understand this matter in his understanding. Through doing this thing, I trained his understanding very well.

Understanding is crucial to us. I have understood the matter of living, we must understand, and strive to break through in understanding. I have discovered the spirit of evil magic, for example, when a child takes the university entrance exam, the adults burn incense, and they can't explain why they do it. We call it Huang Pizi (a type of weasel), they are not clear in understanding.

Some time ago, a sister had many orders come in after expelling ghosts, this is the grace of God, it has absolutely nothing to do with her ability. So I often rely on this thing, like playing magic. The God we believe in today, we must be filled with the knowledge of God in our understanding. Our God is very precise and meticulous in doing things. If God is careless, we are all finished. If you are careless in life and work, you always have to pay it back! I hope everyone has a very clear understanding of many things.

If you have a very clear understanding of things, it will be very beneficial to you, including the understanding of God's Word. Today you must know that the Bible is written very clearly, God gives us a very serious warning, you cannot serve God and serve Mammon. This is a bit interesting, before saying this sentence, Jesus spoke for a long time about the matter of money.

Today, I give everyone an important exhortation. In my long-term observation, I have discovered a very interesting mystery, that is, I want to live well, but I just don't live well. I want to be rich, but I don't have money. I gradually understand that if you want to be rich, you love money, then you love the wrong place. If you don't understand the essence of things, thinking that we love money will make us rich. I hope you are very clear in your understanding, what God is about, and what money and Mammon are about.

What is Highly Valued by People is Detestable in the Sight of God

Jesus spoke about a very interesting thing in Luke chapter 16. If our vision is the same as people's, what is highly valued by people is detestable in the sight of God. People's vision is basically looking at this life, just looking at the matter of their living. Living this matter is very simple, I have understood the essence of living, I know how to live this matter well and clearly.

You cannot serve God and serve Mammon. Mammon is people's money, you must know what money can do. There is a book called Economics of the Island, written by an American economist. It tells the story of three people on a small island, each catching a fish to eat every day. Suddenly, one person wants to make a net, so he cannot go fishing. He discusses with another person whether he can invest in his business. When the net is made, the amount of fish caught is much larger, and then they are sold. Small fish become money, small fish become things circulating on the island, and then they build houses and many people come to fish, and the economy develops very rapidly.

In the past ten years, it is not that houses have increased in price, but that banknotes have depreciated. Houses and money have a very strange characteristic. Americans desperately print banknotes, so the price of houses around the world has skyrocketed. The concept of Economics of the Island is that at the beginning it was fish, and later it became money. Money is virtual, and houses are also virtual. Last time I talked about the Ponzi scheme, today's money, economy, etc., is very interesting, inexplicably less, and some people have more.

People do not understand money in their understanding, you will feel that money is very real, but in fact money is virtual. Living in our era, with Bitcoin, virtual currency, P2P, you will find a characteristic, money is a bit virtual. Let me give you an example, a stamp more than 100 years ago, bought and sold, has risen to more than 1 million. How are these prices determined? In fact, they are all virtual.

We must recognize one thing in our understanding, money can solve some problems, but many problems money cannot solve. We must know what money cannot solve and what it can solve. If you have to use money to solve problems that money cannot solve, that is a tragedy. When we close our eyes and kick our legs, money becomes ghost money. Living people attach great importance to money. Before my father died, he began to divide his small assets. Why did he arrange this thing before he died? Why would he do this? Because he doesn't understand things that well.

When we see through the things of people in this world. When we go to the eternal tabernacle, money becomes invalid. Money is not a real wealth, but just another virtual currency. Today, God wants to break a myth. If you don't care about anything but pursue money, do you think you can live a good life? You need to understand that money has many limitations. If people have eternal life, money is useless, money is useless in heaven.

In the concept of the Lord Jesus, it is unrighteous money. God has placed us on this earth, and the money we spend on earth is unrighteous money. If you are unfaithful to God in money, how can God entrust the true riches to you? When you leave this world, these things will immediately not be yours.

If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own? (Luke 16:11-12)

People just can't understand, why do you take things that are not yours so seriously? True riches are those that can take us to eternity. But people really don't believe it. People take money very seriously, but it is detestable to God. People cannot serve God and serve Mammon. Today, among the people I know, for example, the pastors of the church have a different understanding of money than I do. For example, building a church requires money. If there is money, there must be people. If a rich person comes, I have to keep him. Isn't this serving Mammon?

I serve God and never serve Mammon. No matter how wealthy you are as an entrepreneur, when you come among us, I will ask you to have a Mingding Destiny. If you don't have a Mingding Destiny, you should do what you should do. Many years ago, when I founded the church, it was a difficult time, and I didn't worship money. Today, many people among us donate, but if they don't have a Mingding Destiny, we will kick them out. After that, they still listen to our courses and donate again. In fact, we all have to change our attitude. Especially the servants of God, you cannot serve God and serve Mammon.

For with God, Nothing Shall Be Impossible

Everyone must understand that the power of money is very limited, but it is problematic if you exaggerate its power. However, I am very clear that with my God, nothing shall be impossible. In the early days, I told my brothers and sisters that even if I am alone, I will still persist in serving God in this way. Short of money? No! If you are faithful to God, He will give us what belongs to us.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? That is to say, what is God's is ours, and what is ours is God's. Originally, we are heirs of God; we are sons of God, members of God's family. This identity is very important; it can draw upon God's heavenly possessions. These possessions are real and can lead us into eternity.

It is a tragedy for a person to be ignorant in understanding. The Pharisees were lovers of money, and those who love money basically remain in this life as far as living is concerned. It is a tragedy for a person to remain in this life as far as living is concerned. I have served many people, and many of them place a great emphasis on money. I served a person who had suffered from insomnia for 20 years. After she recovered, she gave me thanks. I do not need thanks; what I need is whether you are a giving person, it is you who needs to give!

We must know that God uses this place to grant you grace. You must learn to give, not just tithing, but also giving out of gratitude. You have experienced God, but only want to treat God as a backup plan, then God will treat you as a backup plan. Today, you cannot serve God and Mammon at the same time. As we worship God on earth, we must pass the test of money.

If you think that people cannot live without money, I tell you, people cannot live without God. If you think that people cannot live without money, you are already serving Mammon. The Pharisees were lovers of money, and they sneered at Jesus when they heard what He said. They will also sneer at me when they hear what I say. It is easy for a pastor to serve because of money, to regard people highly because they have money. Today, it is easy for us to fall into serving Mammon. We have come step by step, determined to build a glorious church according to the word of God.

It is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of the law to fail. God's word will never fail. Today, hospitals and money cannot solve many problems. If you truly know God, you will know that God can solve all our problems. For God wants to save all who believe. If what you value inside is what God values, then you are a treasure in God's eyes. If what you value inside is what people value, then in God's eyes, you are an abomination. Today, we must strive to overcome ourselves; money is useless in eternity.

That is why Jesus told the story of the rich man and Lazarus. The rich man thought only of the things of this life. When he was in hell, he wanted to send Lazarus over. How many people believe what Jesus said? Jesus came from heaven; He tells us about the things of heaven. How can we not believe? As it turned out, Abraham said, Remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

Do we have such a conviction that even if we live a poor life on earth, we do not care, but we must hold on tightly to God's promise of eternal life? Jesus used this extreme analogy to tell us to despise everything on earth. The rich man lived in luxury and pleasure every day, without the concept of heaven and hell, without the concept of eternal life, without the concept of God's word, how tragic!

We must know how people live on earth and what they value in their hearts. They will receive what they value in the future. If people do not understand the things of God in their understanding, do not understand the spiritual realm, and do not understand money, but are just in a mediocre state, not only will they be miserable after death, but they will not have a good life while alive.

I give everyone a piece of advice, especially those of us who are in business. Business people make profits. Man dies for wealth, and birds die for food. It is very problematic if people are like this. Among the friends I know, those who are rich do not live well.

Father Abraham, he said, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment. Abraham replied, They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them. No, father Abraham, he said, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent. He said to him, If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead. (Luke 16:27-31)

Today, let us completely eliminate what we assume and clarify what is going on. You will surely see God's wonderful work. A characteristic of truth is repeatability. For example, money is sometimes useful and sometimes useless. The younger brother of one of my friends got cancer. He was very rich and sought treatment in hospitals, but his brother died soon, and he became disheartened. He also began to realize that money cannot solve many problems, and he began to believe in the Lord.

The Truth of God is Repeatable

Money is truly limited. People's understanding of things is not based on guesswork, but on a clear understanding in their understanding: God, I want to serve you in this way, because serving you is my Mingding Destiny. I was born for this, and I live for this. You are my refuge, you are my high tower, you are my rock.

Like Peter, before Jesus was crucified, he was impulsive and said things that were simply willing to die for Jesus, but he denied the Lord three times because he did not know God well enough in his understanding. The Apostle Paul knew God very clearly in his understanding, and the letters he wrote were very practical.

We have a very clear understanding of money. If people do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, even if someone rises from the dead, they will not be persuaded. Because their minds are entangled in the affairs of this life. Their concepts are all concepts of this life. If our brothers and sisters and family members have not yet believed in the Lord, when we talk to them, it is all about money.

Today, can we have a leap in understanding, a very clear understanding, not a vague one? As the church has reached this stage today, all our brothers and sisters are beginning to have a leap in understanding, not only in what they do, but also in their belief in the Lord, they have a very clear understanding, knowing that God's word says so, and we believe so. To believe is to believe in God's word. Believe in this way, and you will see God's power manifested through you.

Among us, prayers are healed. We are very clear that the truth of God is repeatable, and God is always trustworthy. Those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame. What people value in their eyes, if it is money, you will surely fall into confusion. If you value God, it is difficult for you to be deceived. Some people are healed after praying and then come back, because the things in their bones have not changed. We must start with faith, receive from understanding after believing, beginning with faith and leading to faith, and receive more. The spiritual laws established by God will never be abolished.

Why is it that some pastors' prayers are not effective or they get cancer? Because they do not believe in God's word. The spiritual law of God lies in the fact that faith can draw upon God's grace. Everyone should re-understand God in giving, and clearly know the meaning of giving. If you have received a lot of grace in Jesus Christ, then give well, that is gaining!

If you give a lot, I will not thank you; if you give less, I will not blame you, because I am not a pastor who serves Mammon, but a priest of the living God. Brothers and sisters, can you come out of the state of ambiguity today and begin to truly know God? Do not assume, assuming is a vague state. What exactly does God's word say? Put God's word into practice in life and see God's glory.

From then on, I knew for sure that where the Spirit of God is, there is freedom. We must strive to climb in our understanding. People must ascend the mountain of the Lord and enter the temple of the God of Jacob. This is the holy mountain. When climbing the holy mountain, our understanding is constantly elevated. The future path is to run forward with faith, and God will surely lead us! We also know that God has a perfect plan and great grace for us!
