I. Introduction
Man's natural logical reasoning is chaotic. Without scrutiny, it is nothing more than a chaotic logical system.
Man needs education to discard his innate logical system and train himself in normal logical reasoning.
Ignorant people suffer a great deal, and confusion is widespread among them.
II. The Erroneous Logic of Spiritual Warfare
Jacob passed on a nice guy (老好人) logic, devoid of any real spiritual warfare.
If, through Mingding Destiny, we liberate people from bondage and confront their carnal vices, spiritual warfare is unavoidable!
Jacob did not specify what kind of warfare or brawling he was referring to, condemning everyone on board indiscriminately. If it was trivial street brawls, it is utterly meaningless.
III. The Erroneous Logic of Unanswered Prayers
Jacob said that if prayers are not answered, it's either a failure to ask or asking amiss, pushing people into despair!
Unanswered prayers may be due to incorrect alignment or a failure to prevail.
Regardless of the extent of God's promises, victory in the spiritual realm is necessary to receive them!
IV. The Erroneous Logic of Friendship with the World
Working is not synonymous with friendship with the world. People need to work and do business. It is not as if not working means one is no longer friends with the world!
Why is the Jerusalem church becoming poorer? Prayers are unanswered, God's presence is unseen, and it carries an erroneous logical system, believing that one cannot be friends with the world.
V. The Erroneous Logic of Humility
Man's humility and God's humility are not the same.
Believing oneself to be incapable, with only God being capable, is humility. Trusting in God is true humility.
Being a nice guy (老好人) is not humility. The humility spoken of by worldly people is often a facade, another form of pride.
VI. The Erroneous Logic of Resisting the Devil
Resisting carries a passive connotation, but the Bible never advocates a passive approach.
Both faith and spiritual warfare require proactivity, not merely resistance, but binding and releasing.
VII. The Erroneous Logic of Drawing Near to God
Drawing near to God is a concept of personal cultivation, engaging in solitary practices that neither solve problems nor embrace the concept of the church.
God is with us through the church. The Old Testament emphasizes building the tabernacle, and the New Testament emphasizes establishing a glorious church, not indulging in solitary practices.
Eight, The Confused Logic of Distress
The Gospel is not meant to make people distressed and feel inferior, but to help them restore the glorious image of God.
The Gospel is good news that brings hope, not to keep people living in a negative state.
Nine, The Erroneous Logic of Criticising Others
Pastors must point out the problems of the flock in order for them to grow; this is not called critical legalism.
The duty of shepherding is to deal with the bad habits of people; it is impossible not to criticise!
Ten, The Erroneous Logic of the Loser
If things don't prosper and one resignedly accepts reality, living a mediocre life, that is the mindset of a loser!
People must prosper, seeing God's presence in what they do, and then help brothers and sisters grow! Not a loser's way of life!
Summary
Confused logical reasoning will make normal life problematic; this leads to poverty and ultimately rationalises the problems.
Know that God is a faithful God, a God who enables us to live a prosperous life! Strive to pursue the truth in the knowledge of God!
