Introduction

Good day to everyone. I am here to continue sharing with you the eighth part of the good habits of a spiritual person: Getting Things Straight. In my journey of faith, I have observed that many Christians are unprofessional in their work. This is not due to any other reason but the belief that the matter is not important, and they do not want to get things straight. They also do not want to understand the words in the Bible.

Today, there is a testimony. The sister sharing the testimony is also a Christian. However, she had collected many things devoted to destruction, resulting in her developing ankylosing spondylitis and many other illnesses. These problems were not caused overnight but accumulated over a long period. You do not know when these things will explode like a virus. This sister contacted us online, and we prayed with her, but her condition did not improve. Then we asked her if she had any things devoted to destruction in her home. She said no, absolutely not! Later, as the symptoms of pain continued to appear, she began to search her home carefully for things devoted to destruction, and she removed a great number of them.

People who do not understand the spiritual world assume that things devoted to destruction have no connection to our illnesses, but in fact, they are greatly related. A few days ago, someone left us a message on the website. He works in a museum and deals with cultural relics excavated from tombs every day. He felt that he was very professional and dedicated. To get things straight, he brought all the porcelain items that had been used in rituals back home. As a result, not only did he not understand those cultural relics, but his child developed scoliosis. He took the child to the hospital for surgery, and the surgery was successful. Then the child suddenly became deaf and also developed depression. He often made noise before going to bed and clamored to cut his wrists and jump off the building, unable to go to school or live a normal life. He said he was very anxious and sad, and he asked God for salvation. Later, he contacted our assistant, who is also ministering. Why did he encounter such a situation? Because he did not get spiritual things straight. If spiritual things are not straightened out, it is useless to straighten out other things.

What is superstition? Superstition refers to a lack of understanding in reason and a lack of understanding of the essence of things. Many people earn a lot of money but do not know how they earned it. Many people burn paper money for the dead but do not know what they will get after burning it, and they cannot explain the reason themselves, only knowing that it is a tradition. If burning paper money is a tradition, can we do other traditions? People feel that we cannot.

A few days ago, my classmate introduced me to a businessman. He is an honest person and a good person, but he has a strange disease. Every day at midnight, he wakes up, not in a state of exhaustion, but feeling uncomfortable all over, needing to eat frantically. After eating, he still feels uncomfortable, but after tossing around for about an hour, he goes back to sleep. When he gets up the next day, he is still normal, but at night, the same situation occurs again.

I told this person about some things in the spiritual realm, and he was very afraid. He was not afraid of being troubled by ghosts, but he was afraid of hearing about spiritual matters. People who do not understand the spiritual realm are not truly spiritual people. Even if you are a Christian, if you do not understand the spiritual realm, it is a tragedy. Therefore, I have observed a phenomenon: no matter what you do, you must understand the essence behind it, especially living this life. If people do not grasp the essence of living this life, they will suffer serious consequences due to their ignorance of the spiritual realm.

Getting things straight is a habit. Some people do not want to get things straight after believing in the Lord. Instead, before believing in the Lord, they were not accustomed to getting things straight and did things haphazardly. They live their lives doing things haphazardly and end up becoming haphazard Christians.

During my journey of faith, I had a characteristic. When I saw miracles and wonders in the church, especially when the people around me experienced healing, deliverance, and liberation, I was not afraid at all, nor did I leave the church. I focused on studying the word of God, wanting to understand spiritual matters. If you have just come among us, the first lesson you will learn is called The Spiritual Realm is Real. If you get spiritual things right, even if you make the wrong choices in the world, God will help you set things right! Even if it is not your own choice, but a choice made for you by others, it does not matter. Because after you get spiritual things right, many things will not be a problem, because spiritual things manage our affairs in the world.

Today, I want to share with you an important concept, which is to develop a good habit of getting things straight. If you follow the vine, with a character that wants to get things straight, you will surely walk into spiritual principles, because worldly things are all linked to spiritual principles. Spiritual principles govern the universe and everything in it, as well as the things in a person's life. Over the past few years, we have accumulated a large amount of spiritual assets. For example, I have spoken about the fallacies of the faith in Jesus Christ and the basic principles in the Bible. I speak about these things in the hope that everyone can grasp the essence of things. Getting things straight should be a good habit. The reason why Christians do not want to get things straight is that they think getting things straight is not spiritual, but spiritual people must see through the essence of things.

There are many Christians who particularly promote gifts and like to make decisions by patting their heads. The things that spiritual people come up with by patting their heads are not very reliable. Some people say that they saw Jesus yesterday and even heard Jesus say to them, Peace be with you! But I do not see peace in them. Then they say they saw angels! They do many similar things, but can these things really solve problems? They cannot solve your problems at all.

What can solve problems? It is grasping the essence of things, especially the essence of spiritual things. The sermon Seeing Through Life and Death speaks about the essence of spiritual matters. In the commentary on the Book of Ecclesiastes, I spoke about many important spiritual concepts. Chinese Mingding Destiny does not focus so much on feelings but pays great attention to understanding. Being filled with the knowledge of God in understanding, because this is the teaching of the Apostle Paul.

Faith that is not in understanding is not called faith at all, because faith is built on the foundation of God's Word. Some time ago, someone asked me: Should I choose Chinese citizenship or Singaporean citizenship? Should I choose a Hong Kong or mainland Chinese identity? Should I choose Canadian citizenship or Chinese citizenship? Because people who travel abroad frequently have to consider whether to give up their citizenship. Some people also say: Should I choose this job or that job? Should I choose this industry or that industry? My answer is consistent and simple, which is if you get spiritual things right, it does not matter even if you make the wrong choice. Just choose by faith. If you want it this way, then do it this way. If you want it that way, then do it that way. As long as you are a spiritual person, even if you make the wrong choice, God can help you set things right.

We often find that many things in a person's life are uncontrollable. For example, Joseph in the Bible had an uncontrollable life. He did not choose to sell himself into slavery in Egypt, nor did he know it. One day, he went to find his brothers, and his brothers sold him into slavery in Egypt. Going to Egypt was not his own decision. He did not have that plan. But it did not matter because he was a spiritual person, and spiritual people understand the essence of things very well.

Everyone should know that spiritual people have God's presence. When Joseph arrived in Egypt, he became a slave in Potiphar's house. Potiphar happened to be the captain of Pharaoh's guard, a very powerful official. Joseph worked in his house for many years and did a good job, becoming the overseer of all the slaves. Except for Potiphar's wife, everything else was under Joseph's control. The Bible says: The Lord was with him, and he prospered in everything he did. The things Joseph did reassured Potiphar. Unlike some Christians who do things that are very unreliable, it is very difficult for some of our brothers and sisters to do things right. It is a blessing if they do not do wrong. If they do something, they do it wrong, indicating that such people have bondage on them and need deliverance and dealing with.

Brothers and sisters must form such a good habit of getting things straight. You cannot do everything haphazardly and casually, with an attitude of it's okay. That will not do! If everything is haphazard, then you are not a Christian. Spiritual things, in particular, are even more important. When we have a deep understanding of spiritual things, we will easily grasp the essence of things.

What should we do if we have bad habits? We must deal with them. Everyone must know that behind good habits is the Spirit of God, and behind bad habits are evil spirits. When some people encounter things, they will manifest the original appearance of the evil spirits. Once a person manifests the original appearance of the evil spirits, that person cannot be good. If people follow their natural, innate feelings, they are less likely to do things right. But if people are shaped according to God's Word, they can do things right.

Why do we need to get things straight? If we do not get things straight, how can we do things right? If we do things right, there will be results and rewards. If we do not have the character of getting things straight, we will always do things wrong, which is very troublesome. For example, when renovating, if you buy the wrong tiles or the wrong screws, how can you use many things that are wrong? This is a very troublesome thing. Maybe you have not yet developed the habit of getting things straight, but do not give up. In the future, you will surely become a new creation by the Spirit of God and will surely get things straight.

Whatever you do, if you are investing, get the investment very clear, instead of closing your eyes, opening the Bible, randomly pressing a finger, finding a passage, and doing it according to that passage, like a fortune teller. Christians do not do such things. Christians are filled with the knowledge of God in their understanding, constantly seeking heavenly truths, and constantly grasping the inherent essence of things. Such people will prosper in everything they do, which is so good! If you carefully compare the spiritual figures in the Bible, they are all very prosperous.

Scripture

But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. (Matthew 13:23)

Prayer

God! Today, shape a good habit in us. Whatever we do, especially in hearing Your Word. God! Let us have a wise heart. Give us wisdom that allows us to understand Your Word and Your will. God! Open our minds today and let us become truly spiritual people. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

If you understand God's Word, there will be rewards

What is the meaning of this passage? It means that if you understand God's Word, there will be a reward of a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold, depending on how much you understand. If you understand 100%, there will be a reward of a hundredfold. If you understand 60%, there will be a reward of sixtyfold. If you understand 30%, there will be a reward of thirtyfold. In short, there will be results if you understand. In fact, truly understanding God's Word is what makes a person truly spiritual, and truly spiritual people will surely have outward manifestations and will surely be people with a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold reward.

Many people think that this hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold reward is about bringing so many people to believe in the Lord, but that is not necessarily the case! Some Pharisees worked hard to lead people into the religion but made them sons of hell, which is useless. What exactly is the Word? The Word includes the essence and laws of all things, especially the spiritual essence and spiritual laws behind all things. If you get the spiritual essence and spiritual laws right, can there be no reward? If you understand anything and get it right, there will be results. Of course, if you do not understand, there will also be results, but they will be negative hundredfold, negative sixtyfold, or negative thirtyfold.

Brothers and sisters must use a new way to judge a person's spiritual condition. Do not look at a person leading worship on the stage, singing, gesturing, and leading worship with great emotion. That is useless. Also, do not regard a person's outward spiritual expression as very spiritual just because they speak fluently and loudly.

Some time ago, someone said they wanted to be my co-worker. I said: That's no problem. Go back and read books on marketing and sales. Half a month passed, and he still had not read them. Another half month passed, and he still did not understand them. I thought, why is this? It is because he does not want to get things straight. If a person cannot understand worldly things, can he understand spiritual things? If you cannot understand visible things, can you understand invisible things? This principle is very simple. We must all establish good habits. Some people say that you have had good habits since childhood. In fact, it is like this: behind habits is the spirit. If a person has been clear-minded from childhood, that is a very good thing. If he experiences spiritual things, he will grasp the essence behind them.

When I first believed in the Lord, I discovered that this was a treasure, which was amazing! Later, I started seeking it because I had a habit of getting things straight. If I did not understand, I would be confused, and I did not want to be a confused Christian. So, in everything, I have developed a habit of getting things straight. Today's scripture happens to be about this, so everyone should think about whether what I am saying is true.

If you carefully examine the Bible, Joseph was very amazing. He was a person who got everything straight. How do I know this? He later became the prime minister and stored grain for as long as seven years. If ordinary people build granaries without getting things straight, let alone store grain for seven years, they cannot store it for even two years. The grain would have long been moldy, let alone eaten. Joseph's father, Jacob, was also very amazing. Jacob understood how to herd sheep very well. Some people farm and understand farming very well. Some people cannot do it. They farm haphazardly, and they also raise sheep, pigs, and chickens haphazardly. If they do everything haphazardly, is that not troublesome?

Therefore, spiritual people must get things straight! Joseph and Jacob were both amazing! David was also such a person. He got many things straight. David had a unique management philosophy that everyone can ponder. Daniel, who later became the prime minister of Babylon, was also amazing. He understood the management of the entire country very well. Everyone must not think that people who do things haphazardly are spiritual. Spiritual people are definitely not haphazard people!

Spiritual people must have a seeking character

Daniel sought to understand the vision, and God sent an angel to speak with him because he sought diligently. If you want to seek understanding, that is amazing! Spiritual people must be seeking people. I have been in the church for many years, and I have seen very few Christians who seek diligently. However, there are many Christians who speak nonsense by patting their heads! This is why, in the past few years, I have recorded many courses to remove the mysteries of the Christian faith and spiritual mysteries. Not only do Christians speak nonsense, but many pastors also speak nonsense. Why is this? Because they have not sought!

Seeking is the key. Are you a seeking person? Seeking takes effort and time. Where do you spend your time and effort? Is it eating, drinking, and chatting nonsense with brothers and sisters? This is not what spiritual people should do. Therefore, Psalm 14 says this:

The Lord looks down from heaven on mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. (Psalm 14:2)

Are you an understanding person? If you are not an understanding person, God does not want you. Do you seek God? No. If you neither understand nor seek God, what do you think you can come up with by patting your head? Seeking people must have a seeking character. What have you sought in the past week, the past month, or the past year? Where have you put your time?

Some time ago, I led my co-workers to do the 102 course, The Theological System of Healing and Deliverance, or The Theoretical Foundation of Healing and Deliverance. I found that many people are enthusiastic about pastoral care and service, but the things they write are a mess. This cannot continue, and I must train them well. I train them to be able to write their assignments correctly, not only correctly and clearly but also to get the writing, structure, paragraphs, and sentences right.

Although I am an engineer, these years I seem to have grasped a little bit of the essence of how to get things straight. Why do things need to be written clearly? In the years I worked in the workplace, I had to write piles and piles of documents. Some are about management, such as the rules about the company's operating processes and procedures, and some are technical documents. Whatever it is, it must be written clearly. Later, I summarized some experiences on how to write. Most of the course titles were drafted by myself, and when I taught my co-workers how to do the 102 course, I found that they did not write very clearly.

In the years I worked in the past, I experienced very powerful bosses and very powerful superiors. Sometimes I would talk to my superiors, and they would tell me to go back and write a report for them. I would understand what they meant, which was that I was speaking in a mess. Only when I went back and picked up a pen and started writing did I realize that I was not clear. If I was not clear, I would become clear when I wrote it out. Later, I discovered that getting things straight really requires a pen and paper, drawing it out, writing it out, and understanding it.

Whatever my colleagues tell me, I always ask them to draw it out for me to see, to write it out for me to see, and they understand what I mean. Why? Because to get things clear, one must be a seeker. In the process of seeking, one will constantly ponder and think. Today I tell you, God is watching in heaven to see if there are any who understand, any who seek, because God loves those who seek.

Today, don't think that seeking God is something very profound. Actually, seeking God is seeking spiritual laws, seeking the laws of things. For example, we have a lot of problems, and life is full of problems. If we want to solve these problems, who do you seek if you don't seek God? If you seek God, you go and understand the Word of God, and then read the Word of God carefully. You will be surprised to find that the Word of God is like this, and you will begin to understand God's will.

Recently, we have been studying Leviticus, and when we study Leviticus, we know that the matter of sacrifice is remarkable. Today, many Christians offend God in the matter of sacrifice, resulting in many illnesses and problems. After these few weeks of study, I have found that Leviticus has a profound impact on our healing and deliverance. If you have a persistent illness, you must study Leviticus carefully. Leviticus is about sacrifice, about how to serve God, because those who seek God lack no good thing. If you want to get things clear, who do you seek if you don't seek God?

Spiritual People Have Revelation from God

Spiritual people, in the process of seeking, will surely have revelation from God. Chinese Mingding Destiny is a very practical theological system. Where did this practical theological system begin? It started from seeking. In the beginning, I led the brothers and sisters among us; there were only a few of us, and it was very hard! Those super-large churches have about 800,000 people, if not 800,000, then 100,000, if not 100,000, then 50,000, or 10,000, or 5,000, which is dizzying to look at. But I am a seeker, seeking revelation from God. I led everyone to study the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, chapter by chapter. If I didn't understand, I sought God, and the revelation from God was truly real.

When we studied Genesis, after reading the first chapter, we didn't know what God was saying. I checked a lot of Bible study materials, and they said it was telling people that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, which was as good as saying nothing. I said, what's the point of telling me this? Our Bible study is basically about what we should do. For example, we should be a thirsty person, we should be a seeker, we should be a creative person, we have the glorious image of God on us, etc. These are the characteristics of our Chinese Mingding Destiny.

Chinese Mingding Destiny started from entanglement. The Bible study materials didn't express God's meaning clearly, so I knelt there and prayed, seeking God. Actually, I still miss that time, because there weren't so many things and so many people. I knelt there and prayed, and the word of God came. Spiritual people have revelation from God, and revelation from God is really good; God makes it clear with a single point. If you don't understand when you read the Word of God, you should seek well; of course, if you don't understand, you can find some information on our Chinese Mingding website.

You may say, are these people doing it right? You can seek, and then see what God says to you. Actually, the key to seeking is not here; the key is to return to what the Bible says, that there will be thirty-fold, sixty-fold, and hundred-fold returns. For example, in the testimony we talked about earlier, when that sister threw away the things that should have been destroyed, she got better, because with the things that should have been destroyed, it is difficult to drive out demons.

Spiritual people have revelation from God, and our seeking of God is extraordinary. What if we seek some science and technology, business management, or things in my business? I think our God is faithful. It was not easy for Daniel to be prime minister, or for Joseph to be prime minister! They were working with their heads in their hands. There is a saying: Serving a king is like serving a tiger. If the emperor is unhappy, their heads will be separated from their bodies. But Joseph and Daniel were very powerful; they prayed and sought God in everything, and God helped them. If God wants to help them, who can resist? God gave them revelation, letting them know how to do the work. Of course, they must seek and ponder how to do it.

Although I am at this age, I still like to ponder many things. I ponder things even when I walk on the street. For example, when I drive for half an hour on the road, that half hour is not wasted at all. I only need to use three or five percent of my energy to watch the road signs, and the rest of the time, my mind is thinking about things. For example, how to preach, how to explain clearly. When you listen to me, sometimes you feel very clear because I have figured it out; but sometimes, you will hear it in a fog, as if going around and around, a little incomprehensible, because I have not figured it out.

In the past few years, unless there are special circumstances, I basically do not miss the preaching every week. Every week, I preach a reception of God's word that I studied that week, and this reception can solve many problems faced by our brothers and sisters. If you don't like to get things clear, even if you cook a meal, you will be very slow. Slow means very slow, very procrastinating, spending a lot of time doing very little. You can't get better, and you can't enjoy it by doing this.

For example, some of my colleagues do things, such as hanging curtains and drilling a few holes, and an hour passes, but one hole has not been drilled yet? They are not happy when I say something about them, and I get anxious for them. I think when we do things, do we have a seeking heart? I tell you, many people have spiritual bondage, and as a result, they are very procrastinating in the process of doing things.

Therefore, I believe that the breadth and depth of healing and deliverance must continue to expand. It is not enough to remove the things that should be destroyed; we must also remove the defilement of our thoughts and intentions. If we are not clear in our understanding, it will be more difficult to understand the essence of things. If we think, we will think crookedly. This kind of performance is backed by a demon. If we have such bondage, plus a little self-righteousness and emotionality, it is difficult for people to be delivered. In this process, people need revelation from God. As long as you don't give up, God will surely reveal you, and he will surely set you free.

The Attitude of Seeking God Must Be Right, Don't Play False

God is the God of revelation. God sits on his throne and looks at the people of the world, seeing if there are any who seek God. If you are a seeker of God, God will surely reveal you, God will speak to you, and you will receive wisdom from heaven. How do you know if you have received it? You will find that you understand how to do things. Of course, your inner attitude must be right, otherwise it will be very troublesome. You should know that there is also a group of seekers in Isaiah chapter 58, but God said:

Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does righteousness and does not forsake the ordinance of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments, they delight to draw near to God. (Isaiah 58:2)

This sounds good, but it's not really the case. What did these people say?

‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and you have not seen it? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you have not noticed?’ “Yet on the day of your fasting, you do as you please and exploit all your workers. Your fasting ends in quarreling and strife, and in striking each other with wicked fists. You cannot fast as you do today and expect your voice to be heard on high. Is this the kind of fast I have chosen, only a day for people to humble themselves? Is it only for bowing one’s head like a reed and for lying in sackcloth and ashes? Is that what you call a fast, a day acceptable to the Lord? (Isaiah 58:3-5)

These people are playing false, and God wants something very straightforward. If we seek God and God does not reveal, it is because we still love the world in our bones. In the past few years, I have said many times to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your strength, and all your mind. If you love your God, you seek, and he will surely let you find him, so this is called a spiritual person. If we want to become spiritual people, there are many places that need to be changed. When we see someone in bondage, many people don't feel anything because they don't care if people are in bondage. But I can't stand it. When I see people in bondage, I must use all my strength to set them free, but not many people can understand my heart.

I work hard to set free those who are in bondage, but many people are not willing to move even a finger. Everyone needs to seriously reflect on this. I am already very grateful if you don't add to my worries. So this is about spiritual people. In the process of seeking, spiritual people will see God's revelation. If they see God's revelation, people will truly understand God's way and see through many things. If you really see through many things, a little thing in life, such as doing some carpentry or decoration, is not a problem at all.

We do too little and have a too rough understanding of things. We seem very spiritual, but we are not, because spiritual people will produce results. When we do things, we either forget this or forget that; we can't manage this well, and we can't manage that well. How will we manage the kingdom of God in the future? It's hard to manage. So, we must learn to see through today. Don't think that you can see through it by seeking a little bit. How can that be? We must continue to seek until one day you find that you finally understand.

Seek God with Faith and Hope

In fact, God wants to examine our attitude of seeking. Some people just say: Holy Spirit, please tell me, what is going on? Do you think God is a maid? He is God! We who seek God must have that energy, never give up. Have faith, believe that God is the God of revelation; have hope, hope for the day when God reveals. God is looking for treasures. This treasure is someone who can understand after hearing the word of God. There is a road between hearing the word of God and understanding it, which is the road of seeking, like looking for a treasure. Many people almost found it, but eventually gave up. I have a character of never giving up. In the very desolate days of the church, I preached a sermon called Never Give Up. I cried as I preached because it was too difficult, and I didn't know when to persevere.

But today, I have regained a new faith, a new dream, and a new hope. I know where God is going to lead us in the next five or ten years. The church is now undergoing a transformation, and everyone must become an Apostle Paul. Apostle Paul is very powerful, and he is very good at tent-making. Jesus was also a very good carpenter, not half-baked. When we constantly seek to adjust our inner attitude, God will surely reveal you.

We don't know how to go the road ahead; we just need to keep seeking, and God will surely guide us. Every brother and sister must become an Apostle Paul, carrying the power of resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ, and carrying the dexterity of Apostle Paul. Apostle Paul is very dexterous; he succeeds in everything he does, and he has also trained many businessmen. This is a spiritual person. A spiritual person must constantly move forward in faith and hope.

Today, our church is transforming, and God will transform a lot of fake spiritual people into dexterous people. Dexterity is recorded in the Bible in Exodus. This person has the spirit of God, is very dexterous, and can make all the devices in the tabernacle. David built the temple, and there were also many dexterous people. We need dexterous people to build God's church.

Later, I gradually understood why God led me this way. In the process of growing up, not many of the things I learned were wasted. These are all helpful in getting things clear. This is a good habit of spiritual people. Getting things clear must come through perseverance. Sometimes I spend two months on a math problem; how can some people persist for two months? They give up after two days. There is an engineer named Zhang in our compound. I discuss many things with him every day. He says: This child will definitely be successful in the future. Now, do you think I am quite successful?

I encourage everyone to keep seeking with faith and hope, whether it is doing business, investing and managing finances, managing enterprises, driving, decorating, or writing programs. Make everything clear, because this is a good habit of spiritual people. Of course, the word of God must also be made clear. If you don't understand these things, can you understand the word of God? Pastoring is an extremely complex job. In this complex process, there must be entanglements of career planning, business, enterprise management, investment and financial management, children's education, and a lot of other problems. Do these things need to be made clear? We all need to make them clear. There are too many things we need to make clear, but we have the ability from God, so nothing is difficult. We will just be a person who walks with God in the world and live a life that walks with God. Whatever we do, we are doing it with God.

In the Christian faith, people often lean either to the left or to the right. What does this mean? It means that either all is done by people, serving in the flesh; or all is entrusted to God, and all is done by God. Our Chinese Mingding Destiny is that people seek and God reveals, people and God are united as one, the spirit of God operates in us, and we complete the mission of God in us in this generation with God, building God's glorious temple with God. If you do this, how can it not work?

In the past few years, I have accumulated a lot of experience in writing software and programming. Some time ago, I tried it out a little bit, and I managed our own projects.
