【Bible Study】Isaiah 54 - God's Unchanging Love!

2017-03-11 43,270 Isaiah

This chapter is themed on God's unchanging love. The phrase God's unchanging love must penetrate our hearts and souls. No matter what circumstances we experience, we must learn to believe that God's love never changes – and indeed, it never does!

God's unchanging love provides us with a very good foundation. When facing brothers and sisters who are dominated by illness, know that God still loves them. Even if someone suffers various curses and faces various problems, as long as they are willing to repent and rebuild their inner logical system, God will still keep His covenant and show them love.

Offer Completely Like Jesus Christ

In Paul's epistles, it is mentioned:

If we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself. (2 Timothy 2:13)

Our God is always faithful! In the previous chapter, we talked about to whom the mighty arm of God is revealed? It is revealed to servants who trust in Him, servants who, like Jesus Christ, offer themselves completely. When one offers completely, that person will live in prosperity.

Doing things according to God's logic and doing things according to our personal logic will yield drastically different results. In the past two days, while praying, I was seeking one thing continuously: I have discovered that many of our brothers and sisters have experienced numbness, itching, and various types of swelling during the process of prayer and deliverance, along with many strange symptoms. The proportion of such occurrences is very high! For example, hands retracting like eagle claws or chicken feet. Some brothers and sisters encounter these situations, and these symptoms persist for quite a while. So I wondered: God, what exactly is happening here?

In the past two days, I have been praying and seeking, and suddenly, God gave me a vision. The first vision was from 2 Timothy chapter 3, which speaks of people being lovers of themselves:

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, (2 Timothy 3:2)

The second vision was from Isaiah chapters 56, 57, and 58. These chapters talk about individuals seeking only their own interests. Apparently, there is a root of thought, a foundation of thought that seeks one's own benefit, each person for himself. Being a lover of self is a logical system, a logical system dominated by the dragon.

Actually, in the time of Adam and Eve, they were originally a glorious body. They were shaped by God and were the earliest glorious people. However, when the devil came to deceive Eve, he said: If you eat this fruit, you will become wise, and you will be like God, able to discern good and evil.

Was the devil right? The devil was actually half right. They would discern good and evil. But did they become like God? They did not! Actually, they were originally like God, but after eating, they were not like God. They became like God in discerning good and evil, but instead, they were not like God.

What is discerning good and evil? It means they became very selfish and self-interested, blaming everything on others. If you look closely, after eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they do not think they have a problem; it's always someone else's problem. And how do they see themselves? They feel shame. They see themselves negatively, see others negatively, and see everything negatively. After eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the children born start discerning good and evil—this is a natural discernment of good and evil.

This mindset of only caring about oneself is quite common in the church. However, Jesus showed us that He was exalted to the highest place. The servant of God who acts wisely will be exalted, raised up, and become supreme. What kind of state is this? A state of being exalted to the highest place—that is, offering oneself completely.

In this world, if you carefully observe extremely selfish people and extremely generous people, look at the results they live out. You can do a survey. After you finish the survey, I tell you, you will definitely agree with my point! People who live generously, who do not live for themselves, live well; people who are extremely selfish, when selfishness reaches the extreme, become mentally ill. So, brothers and sisters, do you know today? Catering to the flesh, only caring about oneself, being very concerned about oneself, thinking only about oneself, never considering the needs of others—people like this do not live well.

Offer Yourself Completely, and Be Exalted to the Highest Place by God

So, brothers and sisters, today, from these past few chapters, we see that the image of God's servant is to offer oneself completely. You may think this logic doesn't make sense, that it clashes with your logic or is against it. But if you observe carefully, you will find that such people will be exalted to the highest place by God!

What does the Bible say? Jesus Christ became flesh and came into the world. Being a human, he was willing to obey to the point of death, and then God exalted him to the highest place:

Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, (Philippians 2:6-9)

I think a very critical problem we have today is that people turn to their own way! This problem is very critical. Why do people turn to their own way? Because they believe it is beneficial to them, so they do it.

Early on, when I was testing students in a science and technology college, assessing them to decide whether to give them scholarships, many Chinese students studied well. How could they be compared? So when I interviewed them, I asked them one question: Why are you doing such and such a thing? Some of them would answer: Because doing this is beneficial to my future development. Then I would ask: Why don't you do another thing? Because doing that is not beneficial to my future development. It turned out this person was extremely selfish, so I put a cross next to their name in the scholarship section.

Why? How could I give a scholarship to an extremely selfish person? This kind of person will not become an asset to society; instead, they will become a burden to society. If society today were full of selfish people, the burden on society would be very heavy, and the social cost would be very high. In our bones, we all have the logical system that man dies for money; the bird dies for food—this is a typical dragon's logical system. The dragon is that deceiving serpent of the world (the ancient serpent) (Revelation 12:9).

Why can the dragon dominate people? Actually, people dominated by the dragon are very easy to deliver. As long as you do not agree with the dragon's intentions, it will immediately manifest. Why does it start to manifest? It is not that this person did not have this problem before, but because previously he was very unified with the dragon. Therefore, there was no need to manifest. Those evil spirits could secretly hide in his life and then corrupt him because he took his own corruption according to that logical system.

However, with the teachings of the church and prayer, the word of God begins to enter into him. He discovers that the logical system inside him begins to lean towards the logical system of Jesus. He begins to offer his life, and he begins to separate from the dragon's logical system. After separation, he will experience symptoms of deliverance. If you start pushing yourself to the limit, to the point where there is completely no place for the dragon, when you completely reject that selfish and self-interested logical system, you will be delivered.

Thoughts and Intentions Like Jesus

Today, we begin to see from the previous chapter or the previous few chapters that God’s servant, God exalted him to the highest:

Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors. (Isaiah 53:12)

That is to say, when a person lives his life to the point of pouring out his soul to death, you will share a portion with the great, share a portion with the most high God, and then divide the spoil with the strong. You can plunder the enemy, that is to win the victory, that is to say people to be victorious must be like this.

This morning I received a call from Canada. I was ministering to a sister. What she says is the same as many people I have ministered to who were dominated by the dragon, I am afraid, I feel this... I feel that.... Later I also found one thing, I said she was very lazy, she said she was not lazy. I asked her what work she did. In fact, she did no work, just took care of a child. Then you say how much work can there be? My mother alone took care of five children; she takes care of one child, you say how much work can there be? Not much work, still very lazy. But she herself does not know, she is very catering to the flesh, very afraid of death, afraid of death to the point of life, the result is that evil spirits dominate her.

She chatted with me, chatted for a long time and I trained her for a long time, and she got a lot better. At the beginning, the evil spirit was in her heart, in her head, she said it was always there, what she needed was not prayer, what she needed was not healing and deliverance evangelistic meetings, what she needed was the thoughts and intentions inside must be like Jesus.

That is to say, today at the high end of healing and deliverance, the devils we are attacking are inside people's thoughts and intentions. The love of God is as clear as crystal, and God's love is everlasting. What is this chapter about? God's love will never change. Then whether you can draw on it depends on how much you are like Jesus. So the previous chapter talked about being like Jesus, he shares a portion with the great, and divides the spoil with the strong, and now it continues to talk about the great promises of God.

First promise: Spiritual children are as many as the sand of the sea

Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord.(Isaiah 54:1)

Many people think that having many children is a blessing. But now that life is developed, many people are selfish to the point that they don't want children. How many children do you want? I want one child. Why do you only want one child? It's too hard for me to raise a child. Why? Raising a child is paying, how many girls like to have a lot of child? Few.

Then why are there so few? Because compared to taking care of children, people want to take care of themselves more. But the Bible speaks very clearly, that those who do not have a husband are more than those who have a husband, and those who have not conceived are more than those who are pregnant. Do you know why? Because you will lay your life on the line. When you lay down your life, your spiritual children will be as many as the sand of the sea.

Once I met a very good pastor who had a lot of spiritual children. He asked me if I was buying insurance? I said I don't buy insurance (not that I'm against buying insurance, if you want to buy it, that's your business, I have a habit of not liking to buy it, this is my personal preference). I asked him back, do you buy insurance? He said: I have an insurance, that is, my spiritual children are all over the earth! Very many, as long as I shout, the reaction I get is far more than what the insurance company pays out.

In other words, in the past few days, he has poured out his life to serve. Do you think he loses by pouring out his life to serve? I tell you what he gets? What he gets is spiritual children all over the earth. In fact, God's original intention was like this, spiritual children are not born from your womb, but are born from your spirit, led by your love, your spiritual life.

Shepherding is a blessing

Having spiritual children is a blessing. Isn't it? Start pouring your life into shepherding, using your spirit to give birth to your children. Then, although not born of your flesh, that which is born of the Spirit is spirit; that which is born of the flesh is flesh. In fact, spiritual children are better than children born of the flesh, so today our brothers and sisters must know for sure that this is a blessing!

So I encourage our brothers and sisters to start rising up to do the work of shepherding, I am very concerned about the results of your shepherding, because that is a blessing. The size of your blessing is directly proportional to the results of your shepherding, if your shepherding is very bad, the eyes of the masses are bright. Don't think that even though I'm not a good shepherd, it's okay because I have a lot of love. This idea is not right. If your shepherding is not good, then it is difficult to say how much of your love there is. Many people take catering to the flesh as love. If you really love these brothers and sisters, people will know, the method doesn't matter. In fact, it's not a method, it's a heart, it's whether you really want to release the brothers and sisters you shepherd from all domination.

Do you pour out your life to cultivate these spiritual children? When you pour out your life, God will make your children as numerous as the sand of the sea and the stars of the sky. That's much better than insurance! And when you do that, you will share a portion with the great, and then divide the spoil with the strong, how good!

To live in victory all your life, what could be better than this? So today I once again encourage our brothers and sisters to start giving birth to more spiritual children! Who did this? It's not because of what you do, it's because of what God does in you. God's love really exceeds our requests and thoughts, but some people can't get it. You know that we get a lot of spiritual children, that is because God does it because of our faith, God goes before us.

Second promise: You will inherit many countries

The second promise is that you will inherit many countries. It's not because we are very good at fighting, it's because God is doing it for us in front of us. So the reason why the Israelites entered the land of Canaan was not because the Israelites were great, but because God was doing it for them in front of them, defeating the Canaanites in the spiritual realm, and the Israelites were invincible and won without a doubt, that was an irresistible force. So today our brothers and sisters must know that you will inherit many countries!

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.(Isaiah 54:2)

I especially believe this saying. When I do according to God's promise, I do not seek my own good, but I get my good; I do not seek money, but my money is never lacking; I do not seek health, but I am very healthy; I am not afraid of death, the whole person lives so well!

If you pour out your life, are you dead? Not dead. When you completely pour out your life, you begin to expand the place of your tent, and your heart becomes wider and wider. When your heart is as wide as Jesus, are you okay? Of course, I know that I am far away, not generally far away. But as long as I start to be a little bit like Jesus, I can expand the place of my tent.

Is our church expanding the place of our tent today? We are really expanding the place of our tent, and then stretching out the curtains of our habitations, not holding back, lengthening your cords, and strengthening your stakes. That is to say your tent is very big! Will there be a tent that wraps the earth? If there is such a tent, it is the Internet, and the Internet will wrap the earth!

Today we must start to let go of our ropes, not holding back, there will be many possibilities that can enable us to inherit many countries. I dare to boldly say that how Alibaba and Taobao are expanding globally now, we will also expand globally like this. I think this is lengthening our ropes and strengthening our stakes, that is you can hold on. After the tent is set up, the wind blows without loosening, that needs a lot of strength, you need very strong stakes.

Our brothers and sisters, all the leaders are to become strong stakes, so that your foundation will be very strong, connected to the rock of Jesus Christ, and then we will start to develop to the left and to the right, and constantly expand.

Today our expansion has a very unique feature. To use our career planning as an example, we have a concept in career planning: first, you can do the same thing until your skills are very well trained, that is to say you have reached a very high height; when you start doing the second thing, you start to expand, until the second thing also reaches a very high height; then you do the third thing, the fourth thing... Then what is your value at this time? Multiply the length and height, that area is your value! You can do a lot of things, and you can do them very well, this area is your value.

Today our church will develop to the left and to the right: horizontally we will constantly expand, and vertically we will constantly expand. Our spiritual height will continue to expand, and at the same time we will start to heal and deliver, textual ministry, education and training skills, career planning, etc., many kinds of training can be done.

At this time, we will make the desolate cities inhabited again. The cities were originally deserted, but because of our expansion, they will be revived. In the real estate industry, we can also see such a situation: at first, the place was very cheap, as long as people start living in this place, the place will start to develop; once it develops, the place will be worth a lot of money! I'll give you an example: Yuhang this place was a desolate place five years ago, all rural areas. The Hangzhou government gave Hangzhou businessmen a special policy to develop industries here, and then he invested heavily in developing industries here. For example, Ma Yun chose this place to build Taobao City, and the government also chose this place to be the future Science and Technology City, and then this place began to expand constantly. When this place was still very desolate, the price of land was simply the price of cabbage, now to buy this land again, there is no such price! The year before last it was six thousand yuan per square meter, now it's thirteen thousand yuan, and it will be unknown in a while!

Anyone who can make a desolate place inhabited is a very rich person! Of course, this also has a spiritual meaning. But today we just take it literally, we must constantly expand on the ground, it must be on the ground! Constantly expanding on the ground, and then we will transform a piece of land, which was originally a desolate place, and because we are there, the place will prosper. The Yoido Church in Korea built a piece of land, and as a result, that piece of land became the most expensive land in Korea. This is amazing! So today our brothers and sisters must know how good the promise that God has given you is, your children will be as many as the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. With so many people, what are you worried about? You will make the desolate place inhabited, that place will become a development zone, and then it will become a developed area, and the real estate will be sky high.

Our brothers and sisters must begin to understand one thing: this is talking about real estate, our God is a real estate developer, our God is so great! Saying to Abraham the place where the sole of your foot treads, I will give to you and your descendants, this is all about land ah. This is the second beautiful promise. Then do you have to be big enough inside? Since we are going to live in this world for a lifetime, and it's not easy to live a lifetime, we have come to this world with great difficulty, and we have experienced great difficulties in this world again, should we live a great life? To bring out the glory of God. Our God has never been a stingy God, and our God's work is so great.

Some time ago, I met the property here, and he saw that I had a wave of people here snoring, and said that your handwriting is very big. Yes! We are people of God, how can the handwriting not be big? Today our brothers and sisters must not be petty, I see that some of our brothers and sisters have such small dreams, that dream is so small, too small! Can it be bigger?

To what extent are some brothers and sisters' dreams small? I'll just work a job; and some people's dreams are so small that I'll just be a cleaner in heaven. What kind of head is this? Heaven is to be a prince, there is no cleaning in heaven, heaven is so clean, there is not even a rag salesman in heaven!

So today our brothers and sisters can be a little more atmospheric? Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch out the curtains of your dwelling, do not hold back, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes, for you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations. How good is this saying, and makes the desolate cities inhabited, who can compare to these people?

This is God's promise to those who love him, I absolutely believe that we will prosper; I absolutely believe that this is talking about us; I absolutely believe that we will inherit many countries, and then make desolate cities inhabited. Today everyone must have this mentality: as long as we are in that place, that place will prosper! So today our brothers and sisters must change our petty mentality!

The Third Promise: A Promise of Not Being Put to Shame

Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. (Isaiah 54:4)

But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.' (1 Corinthians 2:9)

What God wants to give us far exceeds our requests and thoughts. Is this not the Word of God? If it is said that God will give us what we ask and think, then do not be afraid nor be ashamed. You will not be disgraced, nor need you be ashamed. In the past, God said to Abraham, You shall no longer be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. And Sarai shall no longer be called Sarai, but Sarah, for she shall be a mother of many nations.

Abraham and Sarah were old, living in the village, and everyone knew everyone. They all knew that Abraham had no children; it was common knowledge. In those days, having no children was a disgrace. If someone had no children, and others in the street said, The hen won't lay eggs, the family would feel like digging a hole to bury themselves. But Abraham and Sarah were not like that; they had no sense of shame within them. Abraham and Sarah addressed each other as father of many nations and mother of many nations. Today, people might call out, Old man, come home for dinner! But they didn't call each other that; they would call out, Father of many nations, come home for dinner!

Father of many nations? Based on these two dried-up old folks? I tell you, there were plenty of people who mocked them, but Abraham and Sarah persevered.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:10)

Today, no one's descendants can surpass Abraham's. If counted by flesh, most Chinese people are descendants of Abraham. Arabs are basically descendants of Abraham. Israelis are mostly descendants of Abraham. It's hard to imagine how large that number is! If Chinese people are truly born of Abraham's flesh, that would be incredible. Today, our brothers and sisters must know for sure that you need not fear; you will not be put to shame. Today, we should boldly declare that we will surely possess many nations, and we will not be put to shame.

When we begin to leave our country, our kindred, and our father's house and come to a strange land, what do we discover? We will prosper in a strange land. In a strange land, we can depend on no one but God.

For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. (Isaiah 54:5)

Today, we must know for sure that this is not speaking of individuals but of the entire church. The church is the wife of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that husband and wife should be united. Jesus is the head of the church, and the church is the body of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the husband of the church, and the church is the bride of Jesus Christ. We are to build a glorious church. For your Maker is your husband, the One who builds the church is God, and God is our husband. And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He will be called the God of the whole earth.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, know for sure that this is God's great grace! Even if God was once angry with you, His love never departs. Even if God once deliberately made you ashamed, it is because we once sinned and forsook God, and we need to experience this discipline! Sometimes God deliberately uses the Gentiles around us to chastise us. This is because we have not done according to God's will.

For a mere moment I have forsaken you, but with great mercies I will gather you. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. (Isaiah 54:7-8)

Today, no matter what you encounter, brothers and sisters, never doubt the love of the eternal God. The love of the eternal God never changes. We have suffered disgrace in the past because of our own faults and transgressions. It is not a problem that we disobey God's Word and are cursed. As long as we turn back to God, He will still treat us with love and grace. It doesn't matter that God was once angry with us; He will still have mercy on us with everlasting kindness.

The Fourth Promise: God Remembers the Covenant He Made with Us

For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed, says the Lord, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:9-10)

God remembers the covenant He made with Noah. In other words, if we inherit the faith of Noah and the faith of Abraham, God will surely remember the covenant He made with us. His love will never depart, and this is the foundation of our healing and deliverance. When I face a patient, I never doubt that God's will is to heal that person. Therefore, all our brothers and sisters should begin to have this kind of faith. You must know that God's love never leaves us. No matter if the mountains depart or the hills are removed, you will never see God's love leave us.

Today, when we have this kind of faith, we boldly declare before God that God's covenant of peace will never change. The covenant God made with Noah, the covenant God made with Abraham, the covenant God made with Isaac, and the covenant God made with Jacob will never change. His love never changes. This is the foundation of our healing and deliverance.

The Fifth Promise: The Afflicted Will Receive Honor and Peace

O you afflicted one, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones. (Isaiah 54:11-12)

What honor this is! Those who do renovations know that different materials have different prices. A brother once told me that someone spent six million to renovate a four-million-dollar house. Renovation is just like saying, Clothes make the man. This is true. If you are dressed in rags, you cannot see the honor. What kind of house has God prepared for those who love Him, or those whom He loves? All of them are precious stones, rubies, sapphires, and crystals. This is how God treats us. God originally wanted us to know that we were once afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted. But today, what will God build for us? He will build a very, very honorable home.

This honorable home is the church. The church is precious in God's eyes like a precious stone. You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5) Therefore, today, we must know what honor this is.

All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established. (Isaiah 54:13-14)

Therefore, today, we must know how wonderful God's love is. When we sing, we sing, As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love. I think this is what we often carry in our hearts. Some people often say, God, don't punish me! But is punishment not also grace? Some people worry that God might kill me. Actually, what would God do that for? These worries are especially strange. Everyone should start to come out of this and know for sure that God's love never changes. God's love never changes; this is something we must never forget in our lives. We must know that God does not want us to die, but He wants us to live!

God gave His Son to die for us, bearing our sorrows and carrying our pains, bearing our curses, and dying for us when we were still sinners, and dying on the cross. Do we still need to be afraid today now that we have repented and know Him? We need not be afraid; we need to repent. We begin to boldly declare and begin to believe in God.

But what is the problem? The problem is whether the selfish and narrow thoughts in our hearts have been changed by the Word of God and whether we begin to act according to the Word of God. Therefore, in Isaiah 55, it says:

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)

Yes, they are greedy dogs which never have enough. And they are shepherds who cannot understand; they all look to their own way, every one for his own gain, from his own territory. (Isaiah 56:11)

We do not know that pouring out our lives to the point of death brings such grace. In fact, brothers and sisters must know that when you are born and when you die are all predestined. You will die at that time whether you are afraid or not. Therefore, you do not need to be afraid at all! Neither do you need to be afraid or doubt God's love and God's grace. Then you don't need to seek your own benefit either. Actually, it is very clear in the New Testament:

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

If you do not seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, it is useless to seek these things alone. What is the use if you only seek your own benefit? In the end, you will get nothing. Today, we should only seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Then what you get is honor and peace, and God will use precious stones to build a house for you.

The Sixth Promise: You Will Be Far From Oppression and Terror

How could God possibly prepare oppression and terror for those He loves or those who love God?

In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. (Isaiah 54:14)

Many people are afraid of oppression. Some people are afraid of their boss in the workplace. What are you afraid of? You are very honorable, and God is with you. In righteousness, you shall be established. Everyone must know what righteousness is. Righteousness is faith. Our faith justifies us. The righteous shall live by faith; that is what it means. That is to say, it is because of our faith that God justifies us. Then our righteousness allows us to be established. Our faith can make us be established. If you believe, you will be far from oppression.

A sister told me an interesting testimony some time ago. Her roommate hated her prayers every day. She prayed until 2:00 in the morning. Later, she originally wanted to move out, but after listening to my advice, she didn't move out. She insisted on staying there, and as a result, that person moved out. Everyone must know that those who attack you will surely be overthrown; you don't need to be afraid. What happened then? Another wave of people came to live in her dormitory. After that person came in, this sister told her, I will pray every day. If you don't like it, you can choose not to live here. That person said, That's fine; it's okay. Now the relationship in the dormitory is very good. She prays on one side, and the other side snores and sleeps well, and the lights are not turned off in the middle of the night.

I once met some brothers and sisters whose boss always tormented them. I said, What are you afraid of? Those who attack you will fall because of you. Because your God is a God who loves you, His love never changes. Then he didn't resign, but the boss resigned first.

Some time ago, I read a book, and there was a very interesting passage in it: There was a person whose boss was not good to him, and he was very tired, so he wanted to change jobs. As a result, someone from a headhunting company really found him, but the job requirements were higher than his situation, and he was worried about not getting the job. He discussed this matter with his friend, and his friend gave him an idea: Give the headhunting company the phone number of his boss. Later, the headhunting company really found his boss, and his boss was hunted away by the headhunting company and resigned. But later, guess what happened? This person took his boss's position. What kind of wisdom is this? I think this is what ordinary people in the world do. Today, you also need to know this: If a headhunter comes to you and you can't do it, you should also give him your boss's phone number. Get your boss hunted away, and you take your boss's position.

Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:16-17)

Do you understand these words? God created those weapons, so what are you afraid of? Even if they create these weapons to attack you, they cannot be used. But every tongue that rises up against you in judgment, you will condemn. Remember, God will curse those who curse you and bless those who bless you.

How close is our relationship with God! God is our old friend. Therefore, we must know how much God loves us! Do you still see yourself as so lowly or so worthless? No need! Know that you are very honorable because you are the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from My hand, says the Lord.

All of the above are the inheritance that God gives us. In my days on earth, I often encourage brothers and sisters to learn to acquire property, but not to be bound by property! Our best inheritance is in the Lord, in our God!

If you don't know that God is our inheritance, what a great sorrow that is! You must know that our Father in Heaven wants us to come to Him very much, but the most important thing we need to seek Him for is that you must change your mind. If your mind is too narrow, God cannot bless you because God does not like narrow-minded people, God likes those who have great dreams and then become a blessing to all nations and peoples on earth! If we want to be a blessing to all nations and peoples, then we must learn a few things:

First, we must imitate Jesus. Second, we must imitate Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In this way, we will obtain the inheritance of the Lord. Therefore, Paul deeply knew this matter, so he said, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32)

If He has given us all things, and we still live in a very poor state of mind, how can that work? Is it your current environment or your current conditions that do not allow you to have great ambitions and dreams today? But having great ambitions and dreams does not cost money. Does having great ambitions and dreams cost money? Does having faith cost money? No, having faith does not cost money at all. What price do you pay? You don't have to pay any price. We just need to choose to believe.

After you believe, you can live out the honor and glory of God's children. Then is it not easy for you to find a job? A sister sent out her resume in the morning and got a job in the evening and started working the next day. What kind of speed is this? It sounds like a joke. Her boss was on a business trip and had just hired a new person, so he interviewed a new person; this is what God is doing in us. Don't think we should have had it in the first place.

Like that old lady who is eighty-three years old, she cooks for herself and sometimes cooks for her children. She cooks for her children and it's always interesting: Son, come back for dinner, if you don't eat it, I'll throw it away. Putting things that are going to be thrown away into people's stomachs. Actually, it's not; she wants us to come to dinner quickly. The old people are over eighty years old and still so strong. Sometimes when the computer breaks down, they will restart it. How blessed are those who take the Lord as their inheritance! Restore your faith, then break down the selfishness, self-interest, and narrow-mindedness inside you; know that you are God's honorable children and do everything very professionally.

Summary

I still want everyone to know that the path Jesus walked was to give Himself completely, and then God exalted Him to the highest place. Today, in fact, God wants to show us one thing through Jesus Christ: If we imitate Jesus Christ, all of this is ours. The problem is that when we are unwilling to imitate Jesus Christ, we live with a worldly and narrow mind, and how can you be like Jesus? If you really know that God has given you all things, what are you still afraid of?

I have a morning meeting with colleagues every morning, and someone calls in during the meeting. I minister to him; he is very afraid of death! I know that there is an evil spirit in him. How did that evil spirit come into him? Because he is very afraid of death! Being afraid of death invites evil spirits. When evil spirits come, he is even more afraid of death. What does this kind of person need most? What he needs most is to be scolded and come out of being narrow-minded. What's the use of being afraid of death? Always asking those useless questions: I remember I wasn't like this before? How did I become like this? What's the point of you asking me this question? When I was ten years old and just born, my skin was so good, now it's so bad. Can a woman in her thirties compare to a baby? Can my fifty-year-old hand compare to a child's hand? You can't compare. The problem with this person is that he cares too much about himself.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

These people are self-centered and have no image of Jesus Christ at all. These people are basically under the dominion of the devil. Therefore, even if they have a form of godliness but deny the power of godliness, it is useless. Therefore, today, our brothers and sisters must completely break down these self-centered, selfish, self-righteous, and self-important states and begin to enter a state of opening up their hearts:

Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations and make the desolate cities inhabited. (Isaiah 54:2-3)

Let us pay the price we should pay and put down ourselves. Start not caring about your feelings, not being so lazy, not caring about your gains and losses, but only caring that God is a God who loves us, running forward according to the vision God has given us.
