Introduction

Good day to you all! We will be studying Proverbs, Chapter 7. Why Proverbs? Because I wanted to lecture on philosophy, but could not find a good book on the subject. Those books meander and it is unclear what they seek to convey. As I could not find one, I thought to turn to Proverbs. Whether reading philosophy or other books, I have a clear objective: that is, to give everyone intelligence, wisdom, and knowledge, to do all kinds of honest work. Not to use intelligence, wisdom, and knowledge to engage in promiscuity. Proverbs 7 speaks of how the path of promiscuity is the path to destruction. Remember, promiscuity is powerful!

A few days ago, there were some cats outside the window, and their cries were miserable. A fellow worker asked me: What is that sound? Whose child is crying so pathetically? I told him, it is not a child crying, it is cats in heat. In fact, whether it is human, cat, or dog, all animals, once they are in heat, their IQ drops to zero. Brothers and sisters must know that animals pursue beautiful love, and humans also pursue beautiful love. But on the road to pursuing beautiful love, bodies are strewn everywhere. When a person is in heat, their IQ drops to zero.

Lust Makes One's IQ Zero

There used to be a well-known little tune created during the Republic of China called Exploring the Qing Shui River. Why was it famous? Because in our time there was a play called Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy, in which the protagonist Yang Zirong, disguised as a bandit, sang this little tune when he arrived at the bandit leader's den. Later, the master of cross-talk, Guo Degang, rearranged this little tune. Exploring the Qing Shui River describes the story of a fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl in heat. After this fifteen or sixteen-year-old girl was in heat, her mind became confused. Because she believed that her parents' opium smoking had delayed her marriage, she ended up hooking up with a man named Sixth Brother. Was this affair between Sixth Brother and her a beautiful love?

She waited in her room during the first watch of the night, and she was still waiting during the second watch. During the third watch, Sixth Brother climbed over the wall and came in. Seeing that the girl was waiting for him in the room, the two lovers began to share their innermost thoughts. The ending of the story is that Sixth Brother and the girl jumped into the Qing Shui River together, truly a tragedy! In fact, every parent loves their child, but once the child is in heat, it is over, as if her parents were abusing her. This is also being in heat! When an animal is in heat, their IQ is no good, they become foolish, and it is the same with people.

In all my years of service, I have not been able to serve people in heat, because they cannot listen to anything I say. Even if you speak in the most pleasant and straightforward manner, they cannot hear it. I was only serving an animal in heat, and as a result, they thought I was trying to destroy their beautiful love, leaving me with a bad name and a lot of trouble. Later, I stopped bothering, because I really could not manage it. Many times, people confuse promiscuity with love. Proverbs has many chapters on promiscuity, it seems to be mentioned in every chapter, because promiscuity is so harmful.

My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments with you; keep my commandments and live; keep my teaching as the apple of your eye; bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call insight your intimate friend.(Proverbs 7:1-4)

I hope that our brothers and sisters have such wisdom and intelligence, so that they can stay away from adulterous women, adulterous men, and young, attractive men. In the stories I know, there are many sisters who have been deceived by young, attractive men. They have been deceived of one million, two million, or even six million, ten million. For the sake of beautiful love, what is one million, ten million? In fact, they are all liars! If a person wants to gain wisdom and intelligence, they must never let that emotion arise. Once the emotion arises, it becomes uncontrollable, and they forget everything. Some people are 70 years old and still hoping for beautiful love. We can tell at a glance that they are scammers, but she herself does not know it, because no one has ever praised her since she was a child. How well the scammers praise! It makes her heart blossom with joy.

Imagine, a forty or fifty-year-old person falls in love with a seventy-year-old woman. Do you think that is reasonable? If you think it is reasonable, then you are in the same camp in your thinking! Which of our brothers and sisters are still pursuing beautiful love? If you still have a heart for pursuing beautiful love, then you are likely to be caught by a fisherman, and your IQ may drop to zero. I am saying this to pour cold water on you! Do you really want to know if it is beautiful love? Then try it and see if he gives you money every day. If he really gives it, then it may be real. But if he asks you for money, you know he is a scammer.

Overcoming Carnal Lusts

People must not only stay away from adulterous women, but also from adulterous men. At the same time, they must also stay away from those who speak flattering words. Not only must they stay away from foreign women who speak flattering words, but also from foreign men who speak flattering words. Promiscuity is terrible!

**For at the window of my house I have looked out through my lattice, and I have seen among the simple, I have perceived among the youths, a young man lacking sense, passing along the street near her corner, taking the road to her house in the twilight, in the evening, at the dead of night and in the thick darkness. And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart.

She is loud and wayward; her feet do not stay at home; now in the street, now in the market, and at every corner she lies in wait. She seizes him and kisses him, and with brazen face she says to him: “I had to offer peace offerings; today I have paid my vows. Therefore I have come out to meet you, to seek you eagerly, and I have found you.(Proverbs 7:6-15)**

Is it a coincidence? It is very coincidental! Do you understand? Remember! No matter who he is, once a person is in heat, they become unrestrained and cannot stay at home. They go to the streets, sometimes to the wide open spaces, seeking out the ignorant. Now this generation has changed. Sometimes you see an ignorant young person, and sometimes you see an ignorant elderly person. Whether young or old, male or female, there is a lot of promiscuity. What is even more difficult to discern is that promiscuous people usually have a very spiritual appearance!

A person came among us, not only she herself, but even her mother helped her to be in heat, asking me to inquire about the good or bad qualities of a certain young man, wanting me to introduce them to each other. I refuse to do this kind of thing. I hate doing this kind of work the most. If a husband and wife quarrel, I have to mediate! You will find that it is quite difficult to find a dating partner among us, because this is not a place for people to be in heat!

Once, I met a sister who wanted to come to our church to find a dating partner. I gave her an idea, telling her to go to other churches with physical gatherings to catch a wealthy husband, because there is no opportunity here. I said clearly: Do not think about fishing here, do not think about catching a Prince Charming or Snow White! Here, you can only believe in the Lord properly, trust in God properly, and most importantly, have Mingding Destiny! I have to put up a sign at the entrance of the church, saying: This church does not support fishing, does not support Mount Hua Sword Competition, does not support catching Prince Charming or Snow White. This church is called Chinese Mingding Destiny! Do not come to me to inquire about this kind of information, I do not know! If you are really like a cat in heat, you can go elsewhere to satisfy your needs!

When a person is in heat, they really cannot become intelligent, and they cannot do anything! A girl came here and got depression because of being in heat! She originally had a boyfriend, and then went to another city to work. There, she met another Prince Charming, and dumped her original boyfriend. As a result, she did not expect that the Prince Charming did not want her either, and that is how she got depression. After she came among us, we began to serve her well. But from some time, she began to be in heat again. When a person is about to be in heat, they really cannot do anything! I originally wanted to mold her into a talented person, not a cat in heat.

She said: Teacher, my mind goes blank as soon as I read! I knew she was in heat again! Because she was waiting for her Sixth Brother all day long, and her relationship with her parents was very bad, all because of being in heat. So I want to say something heartfelt: if a person has passed the age of being in heat, then they should serve God well! Why? Because when a person is in the age of being in heat, not one ox, but even nine oxen cannot pull them back.

I have spread my couch with coverings, colored linens from Egyptian cotton. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let us take our fill of love till morning; let us delight ourselves with love. For my husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey; he took a bag of money with him; he will come home at the full moon.(Proverbs 7:16-20)

This is written like a Chinese romance novel. We must be careful, promiscuity is a path to destruction. How many beautiful loves have I described as paths to destruction? Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai are a path to destruction, and Da Lian and Sixth Brother are also a path to destruction. There are also foreign examples, such as Romeo and Juliet, etc. All ethnic groups around the world, regardless of skin color, have their own Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, and these are all paths to destruction. There is only one path that is the path to victory, and that is to reject carnal lusts.

A few days ago, a brother was so preoccupied that he lost his appetite. I knew he was simply horny! He asked me a question: Teacher, why doesn't God want us to indulge in the desires of the flesh? I think he should first sort out his own issues. We are on the path of Mingding Destiny, living and dying for God, to inherit the appointed place. This is not a place for lustful cries. Do you all know that to indulge in the flesh is death? Lust is the most concentrated manifestation of indulging in the flesh.

When Abraham was ninety-nine years old, God appeared to him and gave him a command to perform circumcision. What is circumcision? It is a small operation on a man's genitals to remove the foreskin. Why is this circumcision necessary? The New Testament explains it more directly: it is to cut off the fleshly desires and lusts of man. Fleshly desires and lusts can reduce a person’s IQ to zero; I think it's good enough if it doesn't drop to a negative value.

With much seductive speech she persuades him; with her smooth talk she compels him. All at once he follows her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a stag is caught fast till an arrow pierces its liver; as a bird rushes into a snare, and does not know that it will cost him his life. (Proverbs 7:21-23)

Whether you are a man or a woman, whether it's young men preying on women or old women preying on young men, no matter how you do it, it is a path to destruction, a path we cannot take!

The Myths of Marriage

We have heard many such sad stories. There was a sister whose pastor insisted on matching her with a brother. He assured her that it was a match made by God. There was this confirmation and that confirmation, and after all the confirmations, they got married. After the marriage, she discovered that the man was a prostitute. Was this a match made by God? Brothers and sisters, you must understand that you can enter into marriage, but it must be built on the foundation of Mingding Destiny. What is Mingding Destiny? It is to desire to be a blessing to many people, like Abraham. That is our destiny! How can we become a blessing to many people? It is to build God's glorious church, to build the body of Jesus Christ. So, if this marriage is built on Mingding Destiny, it is acceptable.

Even if I tell you to build it on a beautiful Mingding Destiny, don't take it too seriously. Because the Bible says, those who marry should live as if they were not married, and those who are given in marriage as if they were not. So why do we pursue marriage? Many pastors love to arrange these things, and then they are done with it. What happens after that? I don't do such things! I used to, but I don't anymore.

When couples quarrel, they curse you; when they reconcile, they won't use you as a light bulb to shine beside them. They don't tell me when they are happy, but they curse me when they are unhappy. So I decided to stop doing it. What's the point of doing this? I just want to serve my God well. I must tell you, if a person cannot overcome lust in their lifetime, they have probably been deceived several times. Many of us have been deceived many times, yet many people are still following in their footsteps.

The Path to Obtain Life

No matter what you say, they won't listen. No matter what you say, it's useless because that thing is not easily controlled. If you want to solve it, first, you must be very clear in your mind that this is a path to destruction! Second, you must obtain Mingding Destiny! Know why people live! You may be deceived by loving anything else, but you will not be deceived by loving the Lord Jesus.

Now therefore, sons, listen to me, and be attentive to the words of my mouth. Let not your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths, for many a victim has she laid low, and all her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death. (Proverbs 7:24-27)

If you are a woman, you must not turn to the ways of the adulteress; if you are a man, you must not turn to the ways of the adulterer. Do you know who is behind this adultery? The spirit of adultery is very powerful. Once you are hooked, you can't get rid of it! This spirit is so powerful that we Chinese have long known that it is the spirit of the Dragon. Do you know how many descendants the Dragon has? The ancient saying goes that the Dragon has nine sons. But in reality, it has more than nine, more than ninety-nine, more than nine hundred and ninety-nine. As long as it is a species, the Dragon can mate with it. Big things like turtles and crocodiles, small things like earthworms, insects, sparrows, anything. Those nine children have different appearances and different forms. Some look like phoenixes, some look like turtles, there are also earthworm dragons, turtle dragons, everything. Just imagine how chaotic that is! These spiritual adulteries all come with beautiful descriptions.

In my ministry over the past years, I have seen so many tragedies! For example, a sister suddenly said to me: Thank God for answering my prayers and giving me a boyfriend. I said Good, but in my heart, I said, May God have mercy on you. I asked, Which church does he go to? She told me which church he went to. I said, Good, you go there too! So she left. Someone asked, Why don't you bring them all here? I don't want to! What's the point of dealing with lustful things when I have nothing better to do? It's bothersome! As a result, years later, the story became a tragedy.

A few years ago, when she came to me again, she had already developed depression and often saw the fires of hell and the worms of hell, which scared her to death. Her husband was leisurely playing games on the side and just said, Deal with it yourself! Was this a gift from God? I can tell you very bluntly that if you ask God for this and that, especially for boyfriends and girlfriends, you can keep asking! Anyway, I'll pretend I don't know. If you think you have received some confirmation or revelation, I can only wish you good luck and let you do whatever you want! I have seen so many love tragedies! One after another, they end up just living together.

Nothing is better than the Mingding Destiny in Jesus Christ. Galatians 4:27 says: Rejoice, O barren one who does not bear; break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor! For the children of the desolate one will be more than those of the one who has a husband. Why? Because only spiritual children are considered true children. If you want to live a life, you can live it well. I can only wish you good luck. As for me, I have chosen this better portion! I also hope that brothers and sisters will choose this better portion, obtain Mingding Destiny, and become true children of God. The people and things of this world are all illusions, but God is faithful.

You who are still suffering in marriage don't need to regret it. I'll give you a hope. Actually, if you're married, you're married. Don't worry about it. Those who have wives should live as if they had none. Because the Bible says, those who marry should live as if they were not married, and those who are given in marriage as if they were not. Start to cling tightly to the Mingding Destiny in Jesus Christ! In this life, you must live out God's glory. Don't live like a cat in heat. You came into this world with great difficulty, what did you come here for? To be Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, to be Da Lian and Sixth Brother, or to be Snow White and Prince Charming? I came into this world to live out God's glory.

Whether it is Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, or Da Lian and Sixth Brother, it is a path of no return. Under the seduction of beautiful love, people are not far from falling into the pit. So the Bible says: Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death. This her does not only refer to a man or a woman, behind it operates the dark power of Satan! The dark power of Satan can capture so many people because people have these worldly, fleshly beautiful hopes. If we can jump out of this kind of thing, break free from the bondage of lust, and not bite this hook, and by the power of the Holy Spirit put to death the evil deeds of the flesh, this life will live out the glory of God.

Think about it, you came into this world with great difficulty, whether it is money, love, good food, good drink, good fun, good living, it is all vanity of vanities. Only one thing matters: to break free from the bondage of lust. A person who is not bound by the spirit of lust will definitely live happily and joyfully. Among us, many have developed depression because of dating! Know who you live for, rely on God well, trust in God well, and obtain Mingding Destiny! From now on, no longer live for yourself, but live for Jesus Christ who was nailed to the cross for us!

Breaking free from the bondage of lust, it is difficult for a person to live unhappily and un joyfully in this life! When people break free from the corruption of lust and embark on the path of obedience to the Holy Spirit, God's glory, power, and honor will be manifested in us! From now on, no matter what situation we are in, start to rely on Jesus Christ and live for Jesus Christ! This is what we call Chinese Mingding Destiny.
