Introduction

Greetings everyone! Let's delve into the second chapter of Genesis. Studying Genesis is truly exhilarating, Genesis is indeed good! I dedicated four sessions to the first chapter of Genesis. Originally, I envisioned dedicating two or three sessions to the second chapter as well. I earnestly desire that everyone can contemplate and comprehend it for themselves, so we may arrive at a shared understanding. Let us pose a question: Having completed the first chapter of Genesis, what does the second chapter convey? For the past two days, I have been pondering deeply, and I have finally grasped that the second chapter elucidates the details of the creation in the first chapter, so that you may comprehend the mystery of God's creation. In essence, the second chapter explains that everything God created has life, everything is alive, which is the theme we shall explore.

This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven. (Genesis 2:4)

God created an ecosystem, a highly organic organism. What is an organism? It is the creation of something with life, a self-sustaining ecosystem. Consequently, in their subsequent operational principles, people learned a term called ecosystem. Why are Apple mobile phones selling so well? Because it has established an Apple mobile phone ecosystem, and many software companies and hardware companies are latching onto this ecosystem for sustenance. Later, you will discover that Google has also established an ecosystem. Therefore, if you wish to survive, you must enter the industrial chain within that ecosystem, and the chain you enter must be alive.

God created a vast ecosystem: with trees, mountains, forests, hills, valleys, water, rivers, seas... Within this ecosystem, every living creature fulfills its divine duty, and many things are useful: crows have their purpose, vultures have their purpose, even dung beetles have their purpose... Thus, God established a complete ecosystem, and they are all alive, each with a fundamental principle of life. Because everything God created has life. There is a Christian doctrine that does not study the matter of living, but instead studies matters after death. However, matters after death cannot be studied.

Currently, the world's major medical systems are limited to Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. What do they each study? Recently, I purchased a book called "User's Manual for the Human Body." After reading it, I found a very interesting statement: Traditional Chinese medicine studies living people, while the foundation of Western medicine begins with anatomy. Can you perform anatomy on a living person? No, it is all done on corpses. Therefore, traditional Chinese medicine takes the living person as its subject of study, while Western medicine takes the person after death as its subject of study. As for whether it is one-sided or comprehensive, we will not delve into it for the time being.

Christianity is a very interesting thing: I have seen many Christians living for the sake of dying. I will give you an idea, we are not studying dead people. Some Christians say that they can go to heaven after they die. Where is heaven? Is it in the west or the east? Are you going to the west or the east? Where does the confidence come from? I find this very interesting. Our Chinese Mingding Destiny originates from Genesis. I read Genesis and had many confusions, so I founded Chinese Mingding Destiny. However, Chinese Mingding Destiny studies the matter of people living.

If you want to live well, Chinese Mingding Destiny is prepared for you. If you say: It doesn't matter whether I live well or not, anyway, I can go to heaven after I die. Then Chinese Mingding Destiny is not prepared for you, because Chinese Mingding Destiny studies the matter of people living. Our God is the God of the living, not the God of the dead. Did Jesus say this? Yes. In fact, the powerful aspect of Chinese Mingding Destiny lies in this, in the process of my founding Chinese Mingding Destiny, I have never studied the matter of whether people go to heaven after they die.

We have not been to heaven, and even if we go there once, what if we cannot return? Therefore, this thing cannot be studied. Later, I read Genesis, and I read what Jesus said, and realized that our God is the God of the living, so we study the matter of people living, studying how to live out the glorious image of Jesus Christ. Therefore, how important is the matter of living! In the process of my ministry, I have found that many people do not know how to learn. Or you may say: Teacher, you are a top student, we are different from you. In fact, whether you are a top student or not is not important, what is important is that you must become an expert in living.

Everything God created has life, everything is alive. Therefore, everything that has life needs rest. You have seen robots that can not sleep, but you have never seen people who can not sleep. If people do not sleep, they will get mental illness, and they have to be injected with medicine; take some tranquilizers, and after a lot of tossing, they can finally fall asleep. How important is the matter of rest, but rest and sleep are not the same thing. Rest is out of the question, let alone repose.

Everything That Has Life Needs Rest

The meaning of the word rest is very different in English and Chinese translations, one is repose, and the other is the meaning of rest, but in English they are both the word "rest."

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. (Genesis 2:1-3)

God rested! If you have ever studied the word rest in depth, you will find that a person who can rest will live a very rhythmic life. When it is time to rest, he rests, and when it is time to work, he works, and the whole person's life is very rhythmic; on the contrary, people who do not know how to rest, their work is chaotic and hectic, and they work in a dark and chaotic manner. I will give you a cram school on a special term in traditional Chinese medicine, that is, the heart governs the mind, which means that if a person's heart is in a mess, and the heart is so busy that it seems like there is a lot of work to do, then it is a state of a dead heart, a lost heart, then I will give you a suggestion, you are in great need of rest.

Some people say to me: I want to rest every day. I said, what you said is not what God said, God said to work for six days and rest on the seventh day. If you really want to rest for seven days, isn't that equal to completing your goal of lying in a coffin? So we should not pursue this, because that would be complete rest. The Sabbath is created by God. Rest does not actually affect work, this has been scientifically studied, and this concept comes from the Bible.

There are big weekends and small weekends for work, then I will ask you: Is the value produced by a person working continuously for seven days high? Or is the value produced by working for six days and resting for one day high? If you have not done research, you will not know. Research has found that working for six days and resting for one day produces more value than working for seven days, and the same is true for learning. Because we are living people, not dead people or robots, we can work by adding oil and electricity, even if it is a machine, such as a car, it also needs to be maintained and refueled to a certain extent, otherwise it will catch fire while driving.

If you buy a car but never maintain it, and it catches fire in the end, and you run to sue the car company, no one will pay attention to you, because everyone knows that the car also needs to rest. I will tell you about scientific management, because I have a deep understanding of it, and my management theory is also based on scientific management. For example, if a person is already very sleepy, and you still want him to drive, isn't that equal to looking for death? So my management style is to do it when you want to do it, and not to do it when you don't want to do it.

If you encounter a boss like me in a company, then you are really burning incense! I ask you, does the value created by my management style high? Or is the value created by having to do it when you don't want to do it high? Only when people want to do it, the value created will be high, because I deeply realize that people need rest.

In the past, when we still had physical churches, if I saw someone who wanted to sleep while I was preaching on the stage, I would feel very uncomfortable. I would stop and say to him: If you want to sleep, sleep well. I also want to turn all the seats in the church into first-class seats in the future, so that you can lie down or stand up as you like when you come to church, and you can choose freely. Rest is very important! I would rather you sleep well in rest until our meeting is over, and then you can go out to work well, and you will have energy when you work.

People are alive, so they must follow the laws of living people, and people keep the Sabbath to walk with God, which is also the law of the Sabbath. Work hard when you work, and don't turn yourself into a robot. As long as you are a person, you must live according to God's rules, work when you should work, and rest when you should rest. I think we still have to understand the matter of living, don't just rest every day, or just work every day, these have deviated from the rest that God said. We really want to thank this God who created the universe, He is really too good to us! He created us as a person, not a robot.

What God Creates are Seeds

Some people say that it is too much trouble for God to create seeds, people still have to plant the land, harvest, and screen the seeds from the tares, and then grind the rest into powder with a mill. To eat dumplings, you have to mix the flour first, chop the vegetables and mix them with meat, then make the dumpling skin and wrap them up. How troublesome, why not just stir them in the stomach? Or, it would be great if God directly created dumplings! It would be more convenient to directly create garlic bread, pizza, etc. It would be great if it rained directly with eggs and bread, but now it is too troublesome, you have to plant and harvest.

When creating people, just open a hole in the stomach, like an oil filling hole, and install an oil tank in each person, and you can fill up the energy directly at the gas station, that would be great. If that doesn't work, install a large battery and a plug for us, and it will be fully charged immediately after plugging it in. I have always wondered why God didn't create it this way? Later, I realized that it was not good. If there is a sudden shortage of bread one day, it will be troublesome. Seeds are good, because seeds have infinite possibilities, and seeds are alive. Today, the seeds from one acre of land can be harvested, and next year they can be planted on ten acres of land. We must thank God for creating seeds, so that everyone has food to eat.

If God sent down bread, and those breads were only enough for 100 million people to eat, what would happen if 1 billion people couldn't eat it? And this seed is very interesting, it needs someone to plant it, so that people can be busy planting it for six days, as the saying goes, you reap what you sow! Farmers sow in the spring and harvest in the fall. If you watch TV and swipe your phone in the spring, you can only harvest grass in the fall. If you call out when you harvest the grass: God, why is this so, why is it grass? Because God created seeds, if you don't work, and you are resting from Monday to Sunday, then you can only rest now. When autumn comes, the black bear will hibernate, and you can also hibernate. When autumn comes, you will harvest a bag of grass seeds, and people can eat bread, bake pizza, and make dumplings, but you can only wrap grass at home. Cows can produce milk after eating grass. You have difficulty digesting and excreting after eating grass.

Seeds are alive. Someone once found a grain of wheat seed in the pyramid. It is said to be a seed from the time of Joseph, which is more than 3,000 years ago. Later, this wheat seed was planted and it actually grew! Seeds have infinite possibilities. If you sow seeds of blessing, you will reap blessings; if you sow seeds of cursing, you will reap curses. Today you have to see what you are sowing. If you sow back pain, you will reap back pain; if you sow headache, you will reap headache. When you come to me to pray for headaches, foot pain, and inability to walk, I can see that you have not sown less of those bad things. Now everyone has to understand my logical system, seeds are what you sow, don't be surprised why you reap leg pain, back pain or cancer. Some time ago, I was ministering to a cancer patient, and he told everyone: The pastor is really loving to me. The result was that my true love was exchanged for his false love, which was sad.

Some people say that my true love was exchanged for false love, and the deal was a big loss. In fact, you reap what you sow. What I sow is true love, and what I receive from God is true love. This cancer patient is a bit lazy, doing nothing, and muddling through the day. He thought he was resting very well, but he rested himself into cancer. Seeing that he was about to rest completely, I wanted him to do something serious. God created people to work for six days and rest for one day, and people cannot just play there for seven days, but this person likes to hang around all day, doing some worthless things. I gave him a computer and a mobile phone, just hoping that he could lead people to pray and do some writing ministry. The result was that the meat bun hit the dog, and it was gone forever. The computer, mobile phone, and even the person disappeared.

Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again. (Ecclesiastes 11:1)

I thank God! God lets people reap what they sow. Brothers and sisters find that I often do this, thinking that I am suffering a loss, but I am not. I am sowing seeds of blessing in the spiritual world. In the eyes of people, it seems like a big loss, but in fact, not only is it not a loss, but it is full of God's blessings.

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. (Psalm 126:6)

If God had not created the law of seeds, I would not be able to obtain these; and the seeds of blessing that I have sown in the past have all received a hundredfold return. God, may You remember me and be gracious to me! I hope that one day in the future, I will be able to see my spiritual children spread all over the earth, and I hope that one day I will be able to bring the fruits of my labor back to God.

Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth, and no plant had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth, and there was no one to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. (Genesis 2:6)

The seeds were in the ground but had not yet grown, and then the mist rose up and watered the whole earth. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? It must be the seed first! Once there is a seed, the egg is the same as the seed. We don't care which came first, the chicken or the egg, but there must have been a seed first. How did the first chicken come out? It must have been created by God. God must have created a stem cell first, and then that stem cell slowly grew into a chicken. That cell determined whether it would grow into a chicken or a duck in the future. Students of biology must agree with my view that God built according to the laws of the entire biology, and then this species has seeds, and then chickens will lay chickens, and ducks will lay ducks, and I am afraid that this thing is not seeded.

What God creates are seeds, and the same is true for animals. The earliest genes and chromosomes determine what the species looks like. The reproduction of species is a very magical thing. You will find that many species have both male and female, and they will mate and reproduce offspring. A certain seed contains only half of the cells and chromosomes, and then the male and female match, and the code in the genes determines what the offspring will look like, which is very interesting. God created seeds, and we must begin to master the laws of seeds, and reap what we sow.

The most terrible thing is that some people think that they are sowing melons, but they don't understand why they are growing bitter gourds. They think they are doing well, but why is their life so bitter? If everyone masters the law of seeds, they should sow more seeds of blessing. If you sow the wind, then you will reap the storm. Curses and blessings are all due to seeds. The result of my research is that if you sow a curse today, nothing will happen tomorrow. Everyone thinks it's okay, it's good, but that's because the seeds haven't grown yet. What you sow may not bear fruit for ten years, and when it grows out after ten years, it will be over. It's not that it's not reported, but the time has not come.

If people do not have the concept of seeds, thinking that they will sow today and reap tomorrow, this is not the law of seeds. If you sow a blessing today and nothing happens tomorrow, then forget it, don't sow it! That would be troublesome, because they don't understand the laws of God's creation. As long as it is a living thing, it must take time to grow, just like a child needs to be pregnant in the mother's womb for 10 months before it can be born! There is no sowing today and reaping tomorrow, or sowing one second ago and giving birth the next second, that would become a monster! Today we must have this concept in our minds, many things take time, and that is why they are precious. So this time and process need to have faith.

Remember, sowing seeds of blessing will eventually reap blessings, and sowing seeds of cursing will eventually be cursed. Of course, if we have sown many curses in the past, don't be afraid, we still have answers. Jesus died on the cross for us. As long as we repent, He will write off all the curses we have sown in the past, no matter how many years. The most terrible thing is to continue sowing curses after believing in the Lord! Don't be ignorant, you must know what we are sowing. It would be a tragedy to sow curses and think that they are sowing blessings. After sowing seeds, you need to have faith, because harvest takes time.

Man is a Living Soul with a Spirit

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)

Man lives by the spirit. The difference between a living soul with a spirit and one without is vast. This is the wonder of God's creation. Living things must have spirituality. God breathed into man's nostrils, and he became a living soul with a spirit. Once the spirit of God leaves a person, he may appear to be alive, but in reality, he is dead. Therefore, we Christians must constantly be filled with the Spirit of God in the process of believing in the Lord. The Spirit of God will revive our mortal bodies. In the days of Adam, Adam died when he ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Today, when we allow the Spirit of God to fill us, our mortal bodies are revived again. The Spirit of God will change our concept of living within us.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)

If you think that the flesh makes people live, and the flesh also makes people die, then I can only say good luck, because you won't know how you died. The words of Jesus are spirit and life. Sometimes I ask people to read the Word of God, but they feel stressed. A few days ago, a group of brothers and sisters were ministering to a cancer patient, and they were discussing why the ministry had overwhelmed this person. Was it because reading the Word of God caused too much stress? I found it strange. How could reading the Word of God cause stress? If reading the Word of God causes stress, then don't read it. You can take medicine, have electrotherapy, or chemotherapy if you wish.

I ask you to eat the Word of God, telling you that it is the spirit that makes people live, but you don't eat it and feel stressed, then you can only eat something else. It is the spirit that makes people live, and it is the spirit that makes people die. If a person cannot be filled with the Spirit of God, then it is a tragedy. Why does the spirit of cancer enter a person's body? Because people are carnal. Regardless of whether it is stress or not, it is because people do not understand things. Man lives by the Spirit of God, which is not difficult to understand. Originally, you were weak, but I prayed with you, and because the Spirit of God filled you, your strength was restored. But as soon as you turn around, you start relying on medicine again.

Only those with a spirit are alive; those without a spirit are dead. How does a person die, and how does the Spirit of God leave? Because man ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God created seeds, so man must know that what he sows is what he reaps. Today, we must walk with faith. A living soul with a spirit is one who lives by faith. A living soul with a spirit is filled with inspiration and will use a spiritual perspective to view living. If you speak only of carnal things, I will feel a strange sorrow in my heart, because it is a rhythm of seeking death.

Isn't that a rhythm of seeking death? If you want to seek death easily, send the Spirit of God away and run hard on the road to death. We didn't live well in the past because we didn't have the Spirit of God. If we still live like this today, I can only wish you good luck. A living soul with a spirit works, does things, studies, and lives by the power that comes from the Spirit of God. It is a tragedy when people do not know the truth and do not know what living is all about.

Among us, there is a team doing text ministry. A pastor also wanted to learn from our church how to convert recordings into text, but he didn't know the secret. He relied on spending money, but he couldn't hire enough people even with money. In our church, people line up to do it for free. Why? Because, without commenting on how well I speak, my content really edifies people. Those who do text ministry listen, take notes, and study, spending several hours and listening repeatedly. So these people feel spiritually full.

The Word of God is spirit and life. You will slowly discover that it doesn't matter how much or how little you sleep; nothing is delayed. Many people testify to me that they have been blessed by doing this text ministry, and their businesses have also improved. Know that man does not live by his business. Doing business is one thing; whether you make money is another. For example, when you open a business, without God's presence, customers will go next door. If God is with you, customers will come to your house. You will prosper by the Spirit of God. Avoiding an illness saves time and money, which is much better than being in debt.

God created living souls with a spirit. If you don't understand this principle, I can only wish you good luck. I cannot understand many people who are always under a lot of stress. Reading the Word of God also causes stress. Didn't you have stress when you were sick before? If a person does not have the Spirit of God and does not know God, it is a tragedy in itself. People come into the world not knowing that they must rely on the Spirit of God to live, and they muddle through day by day. There have been many such people throughout history. But a person with a spirit, the Spirit of God will lead him into eternal life. God created living souls with a spirit. Choose for yourself whether to be a living person or a dead person. When people are spiritually dry, they always do foolish things.

To become a living person, read the Word of God well. Man does not live by hospitals, work, relatives, or friends, let alone by worldly attachments. Know that it is not that I want to serve you, but that you need to be served. Today, I serve everyone to make them understand the spiritual principles of living. It is the spirit that makes people live, and it is the spirit that makes people die. We must be victorious in the spiritual world. It is that simple. Many people may think that it is a grace for me to serve them. In fact, I tell you that I just want to finish my earthly journey early and return to God.

I live for God because I live by the Word of God, the Spirit of God. As a result, the more I live, the more prosperous I become. The more I want to leave this world, the more I cannot leave it. A person must understand what living is all about. If you don't understand it and see it vaguely, arguing today and sulking tomorrow, it has no value, and then you leave this world miserably, which is very sad. Sometimes, if we say that the hospital killed us, it is not right. We chose to enter the hospital ourselves.

When my mother was in the hospital at the end, she often saw people being carried out after they died. I said, "Mom, let's not stay in this place." My mother agreed, and we were discharged. Thank God, my mother finally understood. It is the spirit that makes people live. If carnal people come to me about what I said, I apologize, then I spoke wrongly. There is no problem from a spiritual perspective. For spiritual people, I hope everyone listens carefully.

Genesis Chapter 2

2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
2:4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
2:6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2:8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
2:13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
2:19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
2:22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
