Introduction: Leviticus and its Close Relationship with Healing and Deliverance

Today, we examine Chapter 5 of Leviticus. Leviticus is intimately connected with healing and deliverance, sin, and atonement. In the previous chapter, we discussed the cost of sin; it's crucial to understand that sin always carries a price. From Leviticus Chapter 1 through Chapter 5, the same theme is repeated: when a person sins and is aware of their transgression, they must offer a sacrifice for atonement. Don't feign ignorance of your sins.

Who genuinely doesn't know when they've sinned? For instance, someone who is mentally deranged, emerging from the graveyard, might harm others without realizing their transgression. Wouldn't it be unfair to be harmed by someone with a mental illness? A normal person would know if they committed such acts; only someone deranged would be unaware. This is entirely due to a demon, which makes them unaware.

Are there people today who commit acts without realizing they are sins? Yes, some people do things inexplicably, only to realize later the foolishness of their actions and need to quickly offer a sin offering. Once you become aware, you are guilty; don't pretend otherwise. A true lack of awareness might occur, for example, if someone commits a sinful act while sleepwalking, with no recollection upon waking. We must not pretend to be unaware and think we are without sin. If you are a normal person, how could you not know?

Or if he touches human uncleanness—anything by which one can be made unclean—and is unaware of it, when he comes to know it, then he shall be guilty. (Leviticus 5:3)

This passage might suggest that we are guilty only when we become aware of our sins, implying that we can avoid guilt by remaining ignorant. Is this truly the case? Of course not. Those genuinely unaware of their sins are people whose behavior is uncontrollable, those who are completely deranged, not those whose minds are clear and in control of their actions.

Transgressing Against the Lord God by Doing What He Forbids, One Must Bear the Consequences of Their Iniquity

Leviticus Chapter 5 continues to discuss the price of sin. From Chapter 4 through the first part of Chapter 6, the focus is on the cost of sin. Several matters in Chapter 5 are closely related to healing and deliverance. First, making an oath or hearing an oath invokes guilt. Second, touching unclean dead animals, beasts, or insects results in guilt.

Scripture:

Or if someone touches any unclean thing, whether the carcass of an unclean beast or the carcass of unclean livestock or the carcass of an unclean swarming thing, and it is hidden from him and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty. Or if he touches human uncleanness, of whatever sort the uncleanness may be with which one becomes unclean, and it is hidden from him, when he comes to know it, then he shall be guilty. Or if someone swears aloud to do evil or to do good, in any matter that people swear about, and it is hidden from him, when he comes to know it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed a female from the flock, a lamb or a female goat, for a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin. But if he cannot afford a lamb, then he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed two turtledoves or two pigeons, one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. (Leviticus 5:2-7)

Therefore, we must become increasingly discerning regarding oaths and unclean matters. Regarding offerings, if you clearly have a lamb but claim you cannot afford it, that is a sin. If you genuinely cannot afford a lamb, then offer turtledoves or pigeons. If you truly cannot afford turtledoves or pigeons, then offer a grain offering. Just be honest and sincere.

If anyone commits a breach of faith and sins unintentionally in any of the holy things of the Lord, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation, a ram without blemish from the flock, valued in silver shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering. He shall also make restitution for what he has done amiss in the holy thing and shall add a fifth to it and give it to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven. If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity. (Leviticus 5:15-17)

Know that if we transgress against what the Lord has commanded us not to do, we must bear the consequences of our iniquity. For example, the Ten Commandments: even if one is unaware, if they violate them, they are guilty and must bear the consequences of their iniquity. A person's well-being is closely tied to sin. Once a person sins, sin lies at the door; if you cannot master it, whether you know it or not, you must bear the consequences of your iniquity.

Some people embezzle money from others and justify it with a seemingly reasonable explanation. Regardless of whether the reason is justified, you must bear your sin. Therefore, do not be greedy; greed brings a burden of sin, and you cannot live well. These are two different logical systems. One is a spiritual logical system: I cannot be sinful; if I am sinful, I cannot live well; therefore, I must be holy to live well. The other is a worldly logical system: I don't care about being sinful or not; as long as I have money, if I don't take advantage of others, I feel miserable! As a result, they certainly will not live well.

You can observe what happens when people live in sin. People think it's normal to be greedy for others' money, always feeling that others owe them. It would be a miracle if such people lived well. You must develop the habit of clear thinking.

Once, during an exorcism, the demon mentioned a cousin from our family, about whose affairs I knew nothing. The demon said, How did your cousin die? I said, He died in an accident. The demon said, No, as he was walking on the road that day, I breathed on him, and he died unexpectedly. The demon said, I gave his wife asthma. Why did his wife get asthma? Because she cheated people with the scales. Their family did a lot of business with short measures. But the problem is that they made money, but the sin was on them, and the price they paid was too high; the person died young.

I encourage everyone to examine this carefully, starting with your family. See how those who live generously fare and how those who live stingily fare. Some people are greedy for others' wealth and feel hurt if they don't get it. We can observe people we know, why those who love to feel hurt love to feel hurt, how they live, and whether they live well or not.

I have developed a habit of paying attention to what people say. Some people are unreasonable, lacking even normal reason. Such people are very greedy and feel hurt if they cannot take advantage of others. Such people are miserable in this life, and demons will surely find them. Even if demons don't find them, God will send a demon to torment them. We must develop the habit of observation. We think that those who are rich enough to be the richest people are glamorous, but in reality, they work very hard. Speaking of being rich, Cain was richer than Abel, and Cain's descendants prospered, but this proves nothing.

Making an Oath Can Bring the Operation of Sin and Invite Legitimate Disturbance from Demons

Leviticus Chapter 5 mentions several sins. First, if you hear the sound of an oath but say nothing, you are guilty. How does hearing someone else swear affect me? Today, we must consider when people swear. They swear when they lie or when there are disputes. For example, someone might say, I swear I didn't do this; if I did, may lightning strike me! Why do people say this? They want to prove their innocence, but are they really innocent? Only God knows.

Therefore, swearing cannot solve problems. Hearing someone swear and not speaking out brings sin. Then doesn't the person making the oath bring even more severe sin? We must clearly understand why the Bible says this: because all people are liars, and only God is faithful. Liars are not qualified to swear, and swearing is useless. Once you swear, you are cursed, and demons can legitimately do corrupting work in our lives because you have sinned.

Suppose you live to be 30 years old. Looking back at the past 30 years, how many oaths have you made? How many lies have you told? It's impossible to count. Each time you swear, you set a trap for yourself in the spirit, and the devil legitimately disturbs you because you have sinned. Swearing is a very evil thing, so when we believe in Jesus, we must break the curses brought by swearing.

I know some people who were bullied by their parents from childhood, beaten and scolded so badly that it seemed they were not their own children. Children have hatred in them, so they make oaths, and demons come to dwell in them, and they dwell deeper and deeper. If we want to marry a woman or want to marry a man, we can carefully investigate their relationship with their family. If they have a bad relationship with their family, that is an evil spirit. Mutual harm among family members can cause people to make many vows. How deep are the sins and curses in people?

So don't think you can help the other person get released from the bondage of demons. We must be careful of those who like to swear and are ruthless at heart. A former boss of mine once told me that if he were to find a wife, he would look for someone with a soft heart and compassion, and he would be careful of those who are rigid. I think what he said made sense.

Today, as we read Leviticus Chapter 5, which speaks of oaths, rigid people are prone to make oaths. For example, when taking the university entrance exam, those from the Northeast swear that they must go to Hainan Island. Why? Because this person has had a bad relationship with their parents since childhood and feels the farther away they are, the better. I have a good relationship with my mother, and my mother and I have a good relationship, so I don’t need to swear.

Generally, oaths are made in hurtful or self-justifying situations, which are unhealthy situations. Hearing oaths is sinful, so generally, when you hear others make oaths, you must speak out. Then again, what are you doing there in your free time? In places where people are about to make oaths, evil spirits are very rampant. Whoever hears it, the evil spirits enter, and they are guilty. So we must slowly ponder. If you have a lot of problems, wanting me to release you, that is not necessarily up to me!

When we read Leviticus, we must understand that you yourself are the root of the problem. If you don't know where you have violated the Lord's commandments, how can you change? Even if you don't know, you still have to solve the problem of iniquity. The way to solve the problem is to repent. As a result, someone said to Jesus in an ignorant tone, Jesus, you grew up here since you were a child, why don't you show us a miracle first? You should have done it in your hometown first. Do you think Jesus would perform a miracle for such people?

Today, if we want to see God's work in us, we must repent from the bottom of our hearts. If you repent, Jesus can release us. If Jesus tells you to wash seven times in the Jordan River, would you go? You might say, What a load of crap, is deliverance so troublesome? Even if I tell you, and you understand it in your heart, but you still cause trouble, then you are deliberately sinning. The key to solving the problem of healing and deliverance lies in repentance.

If you say to Jesus with an unrepentant tone: Come and release me! Then there is no way to release you. Because you have done things that the Lord God commanded should not be disobeyed, although you do not know it, you still have to bear the iniquity. If you could have been released, but you do not repent, you cannot be released. So don't sin, be humble and soften your hearts, and be willing to repent. If you repent but cannot change, and you truly know in your heart that you are wrong, then you can be released. If you only say you want to change, but it is fake, and there is no action, it is just lip service. That is just a two-penny teapot, just a good mouth.

This is a very deadly thing, this is the first type, oaths and those who hear oaths are both very deadly. Or if someone rashly utters an oath, whether to do evil or to do good, no matter in what matter a person rashly utters an oath, but is unaware of it, but when he is aware of it, he is guilty in one of these matters. When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, then he must offer the guilt offering for the sin that he has committed. Sin has to be paid for, and if you don't pay the price, people will live in iniquity. If you live long enough, investigate carefully to see what happens when people live with a body of sin!

Touching Unclean Things Results in Sin

The second category is that touching unclean things results in sin. This is a bit difficult; how many unclean things have our ancestors touched for generations? Why is it unclean to touch these dead things? Know that once something dies, the corpse easily attracts many evil spirits. For example, when a person dies, the corpse is unclean and easily attracts evil spirits. Some people will say that when my family member dies, I have to give him encoffining, burial, if not what will we do? It must be done, but it becomes unclean. Why is it unclean? Because if you touch something unclean, you are guilty, and these spirits of death will come upon you.

Everyone is afraid when they hear this, don't be afraid, if it is our own family, we are going to handle it, and after handling it we offer a sin offering and we’ll be cleansed. Today we have the precious blood of Jesus Christ to smear, so everyone doesn't have to be afraid of these, but the responsibilities we must bear still have to be borne. If there are things in the home that are unclean dead beasts, dead livestock, or dead worms, whether they died abnormally or died on their own, they are all unclean, and everyone must know that this is a spiritual principle.

We can slowly observe in life that this person has a very heavy illness, and if you have contact with him for a long time, your body will also feel very uncomfortable, because there are evil spirits operating behind it. If you practice Chinese medicine and feel the pulse of those who are dying, it is difficult to feel. It will hurt the body after feeling it, because it is all done by the evil spirits behind it. So today, after we touch these unclean things, dead beasts, dead livestock, dead worms, if we don't know it, we become unclean, and we are guilty.

Today, even though we have such a good healing and deliverance environment, why do we still get sick? Because we often encounter unclean things, touch this and that, and if we don't know it, problems will arise. So how can we live? Today we can live with Jesus Christ, but without Jesus Christ, there is really no way to live. So today we must rely on the precious blood of Jesus Christ and be cleansed often. Cleansing is not only tithing, but also offering guilt offerings, sin offerings, and sacrificial bullocks and sheep... and finally completely dedicating ourselves to become holy.

Today we must obtain destiny, because there is no blessing outside of destiny. What is destiny? Destiny is giving my whole life to God, I no longer live for the things of the world, I live for God. Although we still have to do these things in the world, they are all for serving God, for living for God. Today our brothers and sisters must know that the key to solving problems is not in offering a lamb, or offering two turtledoves, or a handful of flour, that is just a shadow. The reality is to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice.

If you touch someone else's filth, it's okay if you don't know, but once you know, you're guilty. What is filth? Filth is stool, urine, women's menstruation or men's semen. That is to say, today we must live in holiness. So how can we live a holy life? Some people can't even talk about being clean, let alone holy? I'm not a clean freak, I'm a clean person. I can't stand chaos, filth, and smoke and miasma.

Later, I discovered that those who are controlled by ghosts have messy homes. But we don't know if a messy home means they are controlled by ghosts. The homes of the people I minister to who are controlled by ghosts are very messy, so I lead people to solve the problem of filth and uncleanness, and keep their homes clean. If your house is not clean, how can God be with you?

The Old Testament also says that if someone defecation, they should dig a hole outside and bury it with soil to prevent the Lord from walking in the camp and stepping on the feces. God's arrangement is to let us develop the habit of living a clean life and to live holy. If a person can't even talk about being clean, how can they talk about being holy?

Some of the older people among us often love filth, why? Because they were dirty when they were young, and they get dirtier when they get old, and as a result, their children are very upset. Sometimes, you can't even clean him for him, because if you clean him, he is unhappy, there is an evil spirit behind it! So uncleanness attracts evil spirits; holiness attracts the Spirit of God. When the Spirit of God is on us, we will be more and more holy, and this is a mutually reinforcing relationship. How is it possible for a person who doesn't like cleanliness to attract the Spirit of God? So today we must learn to be clean, and when we are clean, we will attract less ghosts, get sick less often, and suffer less.

Do Not Withhold God's Holy Offerings, Do Not Withhold Tithes

If anyone commits a violation and sins unintentionally in any of the holy things of the Lord, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation a ram without blemish from the flock, valued in silver shekels according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering. He shall make restitution for the wrong he has done in the holy thing and shall add a fifth of the value to it and give it to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven. (Leviticus 5:15-16)

Everyone must understand that the previous section discussed things that are unclean, while this section discusses things that are inherently clean, originally dedicated to God. For example, if you withhold your tithe, you have committed a sin. This is why many people do not tithe and consequently do not prosper.

Some time ago, a sister shared an article written by a Christian pastor in a publication. He conducted a survey in his church and found that only 10% of the members faithfully paid their tithes. This means that 90% of the members either did not tithe at all or tithed insufficiently. This situation in his church is disheartening.

Today, I tell you that you cannot prosper if you do not pay your tithes! Recently, one of our sisters, although she tithed, significantly underpaid. Let me give you an example. If her income from renting out properties is $20,000 a month, she should tithe $2,000. However, she claimed that the rental income was not her income and that she only earned a salary of $10,000 a month from her job, so she only tithed $1,000. Additionally, she received subsidies from the village, which she also did not tithe on, and thus she sinned.

Do not think that saving this money is beneficial! Later, the roof of her rental property started leaking, and problems arose with the sewage system that could not be fixed. She became very frustrated, and her family told her it was because she was withholding her tithes. So, she calculated all her income and started paying her full tithes. Is tithing worthwhile or not? As a result, someone who owed her $300,000 from many years ago suddenly repaid her.

Wow! Praise God! Tithing is indeed beneficial. If God is pleased with us, who can stand against us? Then, the government fixed the sewage pipes in her house. If you ask her to stop tithing now, she would say that's impossible, as it is such a worthwhile thing to do. This is because it is the Lord's holy offering, and you cannot commit such a sin, for it is a matter of life and death.

The pastor we mentioned earlier found that only 10% of the members in his church tithed, while the other 90% did not. Can those who do not tithe prosper? He even said, I never force people to tithe; I encourage everyone to give according to their feelings. Is this not failing the brothers and sisters? If the water pipes in these brothers' and sisters' homes are blocked, they can be repaired. But what if their blood vessels, urinary tracts, or bowels are blocked? Wouldn't that be troublesome?

Our brothers and sisters must understand that we cannot sin against the Lord's holy offerings. I have personally witnessed how God works and how demons work. I started tithing on my first day as a believer, and I have been tithing more and more ever since, initially 10%, then 20%, and even more than 20%. Why? Because it is a worthwhile thing to do, is there any need to ask? Sometimes, I even give all my savings. If you do not have such great faith, do not follow my example. This is because I have great faith in life, and everything I do prospers.

Everyone, do not sin against the Lord's holy offerings, and do not pretend that nothing has happened after you sin. I know someone who was required to tithe 10%, but offered 20% instead. Is this worthwhile or not? In reality, if you owe $1,000, 10% is $100. Is it worth the trouble worrying about those $50? I know if you owe $2,000, 10% is $200, and you only paid $100, is it worth the trouble worrying about those $100? In the end, this person had great difficulty finding a job, serves him right. Who asked you to invite demons? If you love money, you will definitely attract demons. A person who loves money and is greedy for other people's money will suffer many sins. So, wanting to prosper by being greedy for other people's money is simply impossible.

If you want to atone for your sins, what should you do? If you owe God $100, you must pay $120. Why? Because you must pay an additional one-fifth. In addition to the guilt offering, you must also repay what you owe. The sister we mentioned earlier received $300,000 that someone owed her from many years ago. If God wants someone to repay the money, how can they not repay it? We do not know what happened behind the scenes, because this sister repaid all that she had withheld in the past. The correct thing to do is to pay an additional one-fifth. If you withheld $10,000 in the past, you must pay $12,000; if you withheld $1,000, you must pay $1,200.

If someone sins and does what the Lord has commanded not to do, even though he does not know it, he is still guilty and must bear his iniquity. I ask you, does a person who bears his own iniquity know it or not? He certainly knows it. For example, Cain: his emotions were out of control, and he would get angry all the time. God said, Where is Abel? and Cain replied, Am I my brother's keeper?

We must all pay attention. If we often feel uncomfortable, it is either because we have not taken advantage of others, or we have not taken enough advantage of them, or we feel hurt by what others have done to us. We always feel that the whole world owes us, and we do not feel that we owe anyone else. Can this feeling be good? This feeling is very painful.

I am often taken advantage of, and I often feel uncomfortable, but when I think about it, life is just a few things, and I feel better. But then I remember that I have been cheated out of a lot of money, and how can I not feel uncomfortable? Then I persuade myself, and I feel better. Isn't life just a few things? The most important thing in life is to be happy and joyful!

We should be concerned about the Kingdom of God and concerned about the church of God. There are people who repeatedly refuse to change their ways, and we who serve God must still find ways to deal with them. It is not only tiring but also difficult, but it is a glorious hardship. When people sin, how can they not feel uncomfortable? If they always feel that the whole world owes them, how can they not feel uncomfortable? If you like to feel uncomfortable, I can only wish you good luck. If we want to live happily, we must become people who give and people who are holy. In this way, we are righteous before God, which is so good!

If you want to live well, I have a suggestion for you: offer a sacrifice to atone for your sins. Someone asks, wasn't it washed with the precious blood of Jesus? Can you use the precious blood of Jesus as a rag to wipe it off? We must treat the precious blood of Jesus as precious, because it was bought with Jesus' life. We must also earnestly deal with our sins. The Bible says, Sin is crouching at your door; you must master it. Whether you can deal with the sins in your life depends on your destiny.

Do not put your hope in, Pastor, you must build up my faith, you must release me, didn't you say that last time? I said that last time, but if I released 10% of you, did you practice 10% of the truth? Then I released 20% of you, but you did not listen to any of the truth. You went from 20% back to 10%, and from 10% back to 0%. Isn't that just standing still? Is that okay? What I am saying is release, not a complete release all at once, but each time you are released, the demons will not be able to control us, and we will be able to begin to overcome.

Conclusion: Only When Sins Are Forgiven and One Becomes Holy Can One Live in Blessing

If anyone sins and commits a breach of faith against the Lord by deceiving his neighbor in a matter of deposit or security, or through robbery, or by defrauding his neighbor, or by finding something lost and lying about it, swearing falsely—in any of all the things that people do and thereby sin—if he has sinned and has realized his guilt and will restore what he took by robbery or what he got by fraud or the deposit that was entrusted to him or the lost thing that he found or anything about which he has sworn falsely, he shall repay the full amount of it and shall add a fifth to it. He shall give it to him to whom it belongs on the day he realizes his guilt. Then he shall bring to the priest as his compensation to the Lord a ram without blemish from the flock, or its equivalent, for a guilt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord, and he shall be forgiven for any of the things that one may do and thereby become guilty. (Leviticus 6:2-7)

So, being forgiven is key today. If you do not pay this price, what forgiveness do you receive? Someone says, Oh, no, I'd rather keep this money! Keeping it is sin, and the demons will mess with you. Either you redeem it, or you will continue to be messed with by the demons. If you want to continue to be messed with by the demons, just try it.

If each of us lives long enough and observes the people around us, we will definitely come to a conclusion: only when sins are forgiven can one live in blessing. If sins are not forgiven and one continues to be greedy for other people's property, as if being greedy for other people's property is taking advantage, then what is taken is all curses.

So, if you want to live well, start solving the problem of sin in your life today. If we know it, we should quickly redeem it, quickly confess and repent, and return our greed and love for the things of the world to God. It is not that God wants this, but we need to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. Why? Only by becoming holy can we be blessed.

We must obtain our Mingding Destiny and live in our Mingding destiny. The things of this world are looked down upon by us. Our hearts are no longer in the bondage of this world, but in the Mingding destiny of the Kingdom of God. We must become a blessing for generations, so that this generation of people will also be blessed because of us. If people take advantage of us, let them be blessed, but what do those who take advantage of others gain? Only material things. So, let our brothers and sisters be clear-headed again and wake up again!

May God bless everyone!
