Today, we examine Isaiah chapter 62, a chapter that is truly exhilarating. It speaks of:
Until her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. (Isaiah 62:1)
These are the words of the prophet Isaiah. In essence, it conveys that our church must ceaselessly pray and implore for God's kingdom until we witness His righteousness and salvation. The salvation we speak of is an exceedingly glorious one, thus we must pray and implore without end. It is not that God is incapable of acting without our prayers, but we must grasp this truth: our prayers can usher in the advent of God's kingdom and cause His righteousness to shine forth like the dawn.
We Need God
We may fall prey to the illusion that we must perform certain actions, but this is not the case. Rather, God earnestly desires to unleash His glory through us. The entire Bible underscores one thing: our God longs to collaborate with us, to work through us, and He yearns to share His glory with us. However, today we must beseech for God's kingdom.
In the early stages of establishing our church, we did not pray, and God's glory did not descend. Not that God is unfaithful, but we did not act in accordance with His word. God yearns for us to pray and implore there. To pray and implore is, in itself, a response of faith. Through prayer and supplication, God's glory is manifested among us, signifying that our God will descend among us.
We must be acutely aware of one truth: we are in dire need of God. When we fervently implore here, God's radiance descends. Why do we pray and implore? Because we have recognized the needs of this era, which is desolation. When we perceive the desolation of this era, we pray and implore for God's kingdom to come, and we do not cease imploring until it comes. We often say, Thy kingdom come. Yet, some remain fixated here, thinking it does not matter if it does not come. You must never think this way: God is busy, so I will not implore. You must know that as a pastor, you should desire your sheep to disturb you often. Our God does not like to say He is busy; He wants us to implore, to constantly implore, so that His kingdom may descend among us.
Do you know what kind of people these are who constantly implore? They are people of faith. It means that we will not stop imploring until God's kingdom comes. This is a remarkable group of people. I have such a resolve, for this is what the Lord Jesus taught us. The Gospel of Luke records the story of a widow:
Then Jesus told them a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8)
Later, when Jesus' disciples were unable to cast out a demon, they debated whose sin it was, whether they were under a curse. But they simply did not know: as long as we do not cease praying, that demon will certainly be cast out. If we have a resolve to constantly pray and implore God, His kingdom will surely come. Then the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You refers to us; God will cause the nations and kings to see His glory manifested on us. What a grace this is!
I have always thought: not one word in the Bible can be discarded. I will do as Jesus said. If that widow could implore in such a way, should I, a person with higher education, not be able to implore in the same way? Is it shameful? Not at all.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, we must lay down ourselves, for this gospel is for the humble. Humility is knowing that we cannot, but God certainly can; knowing that we are false, but God remains faithful. No word that God has revealed in the Bible is in vain. If it is in vain for you, it is because you have not prayed and implored, you have not paid the price of prayer. Thus, we must pay the price of prayer. When we transform from a church that does not pray to a church that prays, we see God's glory greatly manifested among us, and we receive too much grace!
A few days ago, I went to share the gospel with a good friend of mine, who used to be the director of a large factory with ten thousand employees, a person with great managerial abilities. But today I can boldly tell him: do you know? I have already solved the problem of medical care. Through prayer, almost all illnesses are healed, because behind illnesses are evil spirits. Brothers and sisters, perhaps you do not accept my statement, that is fine. But you cannot ignore the fact that as long as we desperately pray and implore for God's righteousness, His glory will be manifested on us. What a grace this is!
A Gospel With Mingding Destiny
Brothers and sisters, if you are such a person, God will give you a new name. Why give you a new name? Because a new name represents Mingding Destiny! God once gave new names to three people: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Abraham became the father of many nations through faith. No name is greater than the name of Abraham. Isaac also laid hold of God's promises through faith. Jacob's new name is Israel, which means he has striven with God and with men, and has prevailed, which means to hold tightly to God's blessing and not let go, which is to wrestle with God. It may seem that we have been defeated, but we hold tightly to God's thigh and say: if you do not bless me, I will not let you go, this is Jacob. Through faith, he reversed an unchangeable situation, the order of birth: he obtained the birthright. Such a person will receive a new name, called Mingding Destiny.
I often speak to my brothers and sisters about Mingding Destiny, because those whom God seeks and chooses must have Mingding Destiny. What God seeks are those who have faith, believe they have God's Mingding Destiny, and believe they will be a blessing to all nations and peoples. In my heart, there is a glorious vision and Mingding Destiny, which is to build a glorious church on earth, which is Jerusalem, which is Zion. If you truly have Mingding Destiny, God has already prepared a crown of glory for you!
There is no point in living in this world, but if we strive to serve this generation while we are on earth, when we return to God, God will consider us His faithful and good servants, and we can enjoy eternal glory with Him. What could be better than this? Although we serve with sweat, blood, and tears, when we think of the exceeding and eternal weight of glory that God has prepared for us, what are these things? This is what I firmly believe. While on earth, I will enter into such Mingding Destiny by faith and build God's glorious church!
No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married. As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you. (Isaiah 62:4-5)
If you have Mingding Destiny on you, you will no longer be called forsaken, and your land will no longer be called desolate. Who was forsaken by God? Esau. He lived only for food. As a result, he had to live by the sword, and later his descendants moved to desolate places. What a sorrow! But as long as we have Mingding Destiny on us, whatever we do with our hands will prosper! For God will send dew on your land. Praise the Lord, in my faith, what I have done has become prosperous!
If God delights in us, no one can stand against us. If a person is in this world and has not received such a promise, then he has lived in vain. Brothers and sisters, today Mingding Destiny is so important! Mingding Destiny is that we pray and implore God day and night, let God's kingdom come, let good things come among us, and then God is pleased with us.
I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)
Actually, it is better to pray at night. Over the past few years, I have developed a habit of going to bed late. I need to serve and pray at night. Thank God, there is no one to disturb you at night, so you can concentrate on attacking the dark forces of the devil. Later, I found that the dark forces are strongest in the early hours of the morning, from 2-3 am, and it is really great to attack at that time! You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest. God will not be tired, and God delights in our prayers. Whatever we do with our hands will prosper. What God wants to find are people who have faith. The gospel I preach is a gospel with Mingding Destiny, a gospel that enters into the blessing of Abraham, not a gospel of going to heaven after death.
God is very faithful, beyond my imagination. I want people to come to our church and feel a wow! sensation, psychiatric illnesses are healed, and cervical and lumbar disc herniations are healed. The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm:
“Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled. (Isaiah 62:8)
The devil once plundered us, and we were once very desolate. I never want to go back, just like the feeling of eating corn bread too much when I was a child. We used to have a lot of problems. If you are a person with Mingding Destiny, everything you do will prosper, and the desolate days will surely pass! Why was Israel often invaded by the surrounding countries? Because as they lived, they went to live a small life and had no Mingding Destiny.
But those who harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.” (Isaiah 62:9)
What a wonderful grace this is, this is the most beautiful thing in the world. Nothing can compare with God's grace, but grace is given to those with Mingding Destiny. We need the kingdom of God to come, not that God needs His kingdom to come, do not live a small life. Starting today, let the fire inside you burn, burn for God. It is we who need the kingdom of God to come among us. Do not live a small life anymore, a small life is a curse.
The Path of Faith
Go through, go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones; raise a banner for the nations. (Isaiah 62:10)
We must go through the gate of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is the gate, and through the gate, we get pasture, this is the gate of faith. Abraham opened for us the path of prayer of faith. Preparing the way for the people is the path of faith. The highway is the way of God. Removing the stones is to remove all that causes stumbling. We are constantly restoring the truth of God. Raising a banner, removing everything that causes us to stumble. What is the banner? The banner is used for warfare, constantly expanding the kingdom of God, constantly triumphing! Let people see the glory of God, see the army of God, and begin to fight for the kingdom of God, and the gospel of God must be preached to the ends of the earth. This is the day the Savior arrives, this is the day He rewards us, and also the day He avenges His enemies. From Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, the powerful gospel of God must be heard.
God has never forsaken us, but we have forsaken God. In the past, we did not dare to cry out, nor did we have the faith to cry out, but today we must restore the original appearance of the church. We must become a mighty army, and wherever we go, we can strike the devil and the enemy.
Conclusion
God needs us to cry out for the kingdom of God. Some say that the Bible says not to repeatedly ask for one thing, but this means that we should not repeatedly ask for eating, drinking, and playing. God is pleased that we pray unceasingly for the kingdom of God all our lives. God wants us to say to Him all our lives, I love you. So Jesus asked Peter three times: Do you love me? We love God, and God loves us, and we receive grace. Start loving God, become a blessing to this era, and become a vessel to manifest the glory of God.
