This Gospel is a Treasure

Let us turn to Romans, Chapter 10. Although the theme of this chapter continues to argue that faith leads to faith, it is already advancing to another level. The theme of this chapter is in verse 15 of Chapter 10: And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” We will use this passage as the theme of this chapter.

Preaching the gospel and bringing good news means that this is good news. This gospel is the power of God to save everyone who believes! Those who trust in God will never be put to shame. No matter where you are, if you are a person seeking God, if you seek eternal life, honour, glory, and imperishable blessings, God will surely let you find them.

Some people will ask: How can people find them? It requires a group of Mingding Destiny people to preach the gospel and bring good news. If no one preaches the gospel and brings good news, people will have no way to believe and no way to receive grace.

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:15)

The Bible talks about a very interesting thing. God raises up a group of Mingding Destiny people. Because they preach the gospel and bring good news, how beautiful are their feet. The feet of a person are the road that a person has traveled in their life. There are all kinds of people in this world. If you want to live out the glorious image of God, to live a very wonderful life, then you must be a Mingding Destiny person. Mingding Destiny is to pass the gospel to others.

Some people also preach the gospel, but it is not the powerful gospel that Paul speaks of. The gospel that Paul preached begins with faith and leads to faith, but today it has turned into a moral scripture. For example, keeping religious rules has eliminated the powerful gospel. Although they are also zealous for God, they do not walk according to true knowledge and faith. The matter of beginning with faith and leading to faith is a great shock to me about the word of God.

When I first became a believer many years ago, I walked into the church myself. My wife had an incurable disease. She took painkillers in large quantities. That time was very hard. At that time, I was actually confused and did not understand the situation, but I saw that many people in the church were healed of their diseases. I invited the pastor of our church to pray for my wife, and my wife’s illness was healed on the spot, and the pain disappeared on the spot.

I didn’t do anything for God. I just called on the name of God, and then a concept arose in my mind: the word of God is really a treasure! I must get this treasure no matter what. This is also a concept that all smart people should have. Smart people know what is good and what is not.

Just before I studied the scriptures, my sister sent me a message saying that my mother was dying again. Her fingers had all turned blue and she had difficulty breathing. I served my mother for a while, and this time my mother was fine again. She had been in and out of the edge of death many times. This gospel is truly the power of God!

Remember, it is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is of no avail. The reason why a person is alive is because his spirit lives in his body. If a person is to be killed, it is because an evil spirit lives in that person. Everyone must establish a concept of the spirit.

During the period shortly after I entered the church, if you asked me: At that time, did you believe it or not, what did you do for God? I will tell you that I basically did nothing, did not donate, did not serve, just called on the name of God, and then discovered that wonderful things happened. It turned out that that thing was called faith, which begins with faith and leads to faith.

Later, someone in the church asked me if I wanted to be baptized as a Christian. I had to take classes before I was baptized. They asked me if I wanted to pay tithes. The matter of tithing is actually quite annoying. Why? Because someone gave me a class, and I understood it. I was very entangled on the way home, because my salary was very low at that time. I had to donate more than 100 yuan a month for more than 1,000 yuan, which was almost all my savings. After the donation, there would be no savings left, which was really entangled.

I struggled as I walked. Halfway through the journey, I thought of the God I knew. He is a treasure. I will trust Him in this life. Then I made a decision to pay tithes. Not because of anything else, but because I trust God.

Brothers and sisters, if you think: I have already paid tithes, why haven’t I been blessed yet? If you do not trust in God, but still want to donate, then you might as well not donate. Because donation is a matter of course! Tithing is an act of faith. You must know what it means to be alive. There are too many people among us who have experienced God. I found myself to be quite smart. My smartness lies in the fact that I made a choice between money and God, and I chose God.

God is a God who Reveals Himself to People

In fact, I knew almost nothing about God at that time, and I didn’t particularly seek Him, but God actually let me meet Him. I did not go to heaven or earth to seek and visit, but God revealed Himself to me. Later, I gradually discovered that our God is such a God. He can't wait to reveal Himself to many people.

Then Isaiah is very bold and says: “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.” But to Israel he says: “All day long I have stretched out My hands To a disobedient and contrary people.” (Romans 10:20-21)

God wants to allow all those who can receive grace to receive grace through the path of beginning with faith and leading to faith. Do you think I deserve grace? Not at all! But I know this God is a treasure. Later, on the road of believing in the Lord, I moved forward step by step. I found that our God is too powerful. I can't live without God in my life. I must trust God well!

So from that time on, I read the Bible desperately, and God has been encouraging me. The sermons in the church at that time were really not very good, and I didn’t know what they were talking about. But I am grateful to God that I can share the word of God with you today! Do you want to open the treasure house of the kingdom of heaven? God has already given us the keys to the kingdom of heaven, but we don’t know how to use them.

At that time, I was still very young, in my twenties, and I thought about the distant days, the future birth, old age, sickness and death. There are too many days when I need God. I know very well that He is God, and I need Him, so I call on His name.

God is a God who Tests People

The diseases of our family members are all healed through prayer, and a large amount of medical expenses have been saved. A pastor’s mother had been suffering from insomnia for more than 20 years. I prayed with her for a while and let her listen to a recording of my sermon, and then she was able to sleep, but after a few days it didn’t work again, so she had to come to me. I prayed with her again, and she was able to fall asleep again.

When we begin to experience God, are we still making difficult choices between money and God? Many people love money very much. Some time ago, a sister had a falling out with me because of money. When this sister came to me two years ago, the situation was very bad. Many churches could not solve her problem. When she came to us, she was carrying a body of demons, which was quite deadly.

She has a deeper understanding of the spiritual world than I do, but she left because of money, because she believes that her problem has been solved and she no longer needs God. There are really many such examples.

In my life, when I choose between God and money, I will always choose my God. Why do people make strange decisions for money? Because money is too important to her. In fact, money can make people very stupid. My idea at the time was that I can never leave this God, I have to hold on to Him tightly, and I want to serve Him well.

In fact, this sister thought she was very powerful and thought she was fine. I can predict here that there will be big trouble in the future. With her limited skills, a person who only cares about living at home, what can she leave behind for Jesus? Nothing can be left behind. Then how can she be victorious? When the demon comes back, what will she use to resist?

Today, we must know that some people among us have received grace, not because they deserve grace, but because there is a group of Mingding Destiny people and good news preachers in our church. They have only received some grace through us. But they think this way: Didn’t I also donate? This is called works-based.

Isn’t donation a matter of course? Everyone, don’t think that we need the donations of brothers and sisters very much. In fact, brothers and sisters need to donate very much. If you still can’t get past the tithe, I think you should forget about being a Christian.

After Experiencing God, Will You Choose God or Money?

Why did God let these people experience God? When they did not seek God, they met Him; when they did not visit, He appeared to them. In fact, God gave a good start, allowing you to experience God firsthand, and then see what you should do next. If you think money is a treasure, you will choose money and live a small life;

If you think God is a treasure, you will forsake fields, houses, wives, children, all of this for God, including the small life. Brothers and sisters among us, you are welcome to listen. If you don’t listen, I can’t stop you, but you must know that living a small life will attract demons.

Everyone may sometimes feel that building a church requires money, but I can tell you: From the first day of building the church, and when the church was extremely desolate, I was very clear about one thing, that is, building a church does not require money. Some people say: Then what do you do if you don’t have money? I said: If you don’t have money, as long as you have God, that’s enough. Building a church does not require money. Building a church requires only pleasing God. If you do not please God, you cannot be a servant of Jesus Christ. Do you understand?

If you want to please people, then go and please people. If you want to live a small life, then hurry up and live a small life. If you think money is important, then hurry up and grab your money. In my serving experience, people’s stupidity has made me break countless pairs of glasses, and even my eyeballs are about to fall out.

A few years ago, I served a businessman who was a good friend of a brother in our church. This businessman owed a lot of foreign debt due to a business failure. In addition, his son had no ability to take care of himself. When his wife saw this situation, she suddenly became paralyzed and lay in bed for several months, unable to be cured by spending money.

This businessman found me because of his friend, so I prayed with his wife, and his wife was able to walk the next day. As a result, he threw five hundred yuan at me and left the church. I really wanted to return the money to him.

Someone asked me: How is his wife now? I said: His wife is still able to walk now. But when people choose between God and money, if you choose money, isn’t that very stupid? His wife is now in her 40s, and as she gets older, there will be more days when she needs God!

Anyway, I'm not that stupid, otherwise I wouldn't be sharing the Bible with you today. The love of money is a strange thing. This businessman borrowed money from others and did not repay it. Even the brother among us had difficulty collecting the money. People just couldn't see it. If a slightly smarter person would find that God is a treasure.

God’s purpose is to let you live a beautiful life, walk a good path, and live a wonderful life, so how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel and bring good news. When I think back on the road I have traveled, it is really quite wonderful.

There was a young couple who were very enthusiastic when they first started following me to believe in the Lord. Later, they also served as leaders in the church. This couple was in a dating relationship at the time. This girl loved money very much. I told her: Can you not love money so much? She said: It’s better to eat chicken legs than to eat窝头. Her reasoning is that with money, you can eat chicken legs, and without money, you have to eat 窝头. In fact, it is now reversed. Rich people eat 窝头, and poor people eat chicken legs.

Later, the couple was about to get married, and I didn't think I could transform them in any way, because their family still thought it was better to eat chicken legs than to eat 窝头. This girl told me that she wanted the man's parents to give her 150,000 in betrothal gifts. I told this girl: In Singapore, a couple earns at least eight or nine thousand Singapore dollars a month, which is more than 50,000 yuan a month, and more than 600,000 a year. Why do you still need 150,000 in betrothal gifts? You should stop doing this. I cut off her idea.

The boy's mother was still a cancer patient at the time. This couple served with me, drove out many demons, and experienced many spiritual things. Later, they were about to leave the church and go to a more balanced place.

The boy's parents also loved money very much. They thought, what if their children's dedicated service in the church delayed their work? In fact, the cancer of this boy's mother was healed by my service and prayer. This is not an exaggeration at all. I really don't know what they are thinking. Doesn't everyone need God in this life?

Grasp God Firmly, Grasp Destiny

If a person wants to live a beautiful life, they must have destiny. The path such a person walks in life will be beautiful. How wonderful is this beautiful path! But some people do not think it is good, feeling that living a practical life is more important, and as a result, they run into problems. If you do not have destiny, it is a tragedy! Because what Paul conveys is the gospel that begins with faith and leads to faith. If you begin with faith but end in disbelief, that is troublesome. Some people initially experience God, but after the experience, they become those who begin with faith and end in disbelief, or begin with faith in God and end with faith in money.

Brothers and sisters, do not think that I am saying these words to bind you. I do not want to bind anyone, but I want to speak frankly from my heart. If a person does not have destiny, the life they live will be a miserable one, and tragedies will follow those without destiny.

To those who believe, I would say this: How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel and bring good news! Today, I want to tell everyone definitively that God is truly very good and precious. I can give up anything in my life, but I must firmly grasp God.

In my service over the past years, I have solved many people's problems, truly helping them resolve significant issues. However, they turn around and throw me away as if discarding a burden. What is it that I am doing? But it does not matter; I am one who preaches the gospel and brings good news. My destiny is such, and I am not easily hurt. Some people ask how I can endure such toiling. I tell you, as long as I firmly grasp God, I can endure anything.

There was a sister who was very interesting. She made money with me by buying a house together. She then asked me to help her with the renovation. However, she became unhappy when the renovation cost a bit more, and eventually made an excuse, saying, I want to serve in another place, and then left the church.

At the time of buying the house, she said it was for me to use. I was puzzled. If it was for me to use, why did she insist on putting a double bed in the room later? I do not take advantage of others, nor do I bind anyone. Think about what this sister's core interests really were.

Trying to fool me is useless, because I neither covet money nor other people's houses. I do what I can with what I have, and if I do not have it, I simply do without. But I must possess my God. I will preach the gospel and bring good news throughout my life. Even if I serve these ungrateful people, what can they do to me?

True Knowledge of God, No Longer Justified by Oneself

Whatever you believe in your heart, you will speak with your mouth. If the core interest in your heart is money, you will speak about it. Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must know:

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. (Romans 10:1-2)

I also know that many people are zealous for God, but the problem is that they do not act according to true knowledge. The Israelites were not acting according to true knowledge and always felt that they were doing well, which resulted in them becoming a rebellious and argumentative people. “I am doing quite well. Look, I tithe, and I attend meetings on time.” People who like to say these things are the rebellious and argumentative people that God is calling out all day long.

People are really interesting. They clearly experienced God, but quickly forgot that they received God's grace through faith, and then started measuring everything by works. “Look at what I have done for God. I have not missed any meetings, and I am always very punctual at every meeting.” Is that not what you should be doing? Are you going to take these things before God and say, God, look at what I have done, you must give me grace?

We must all remember that if you feel you deserve such grace and treatment, you will feel very uncomfortable, because I will not treat you according to your required treatment. I will not refrain from saying anything that is beneficial to everyone, but some people will say that my words are too harsh. If I do not speak harsh words, can I edify people? Many people are zealous for God, but not according to true knowledge, because they do not know that the righteousness of God is through faith. If a person wants to establish their own righteousness through their own works, they do not submit to God's righteousness.

Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (Romans 10:4)

Some people like to say, I believe in Jesus, so I am already saved. I would ask them, Do you know what Jesus is like? Why do I not see the image of Jesus in you?” It is really not enough to just say it with your mouth. How then do you start believing in Jesus? It is that I must follow the path that Jesus walked. We believe in what Jesus says.

Many pastors insist on proving that not everyone who came to Jesus was healed. These people really do not know what to think. Were not all who sought Jesus healed? (See Acts 5:16) They insist on saying it was not so. The stories about Jesus in the Bible were written by his disciples. More than two thousand years later, you tell me that the situation back then was not like that. I want to ask, were you there at the scene? If you dare to say that what is written in the Bible is not true, what is going on?

Today, many people simply do not believe. One sister's mother had frequent leg pain. I said, You can pray for your mother's legs. She said, No, I cannot. I said, Why can you not? She said, There is a piece of metal in my mother's leg. Does God not work just because there is a piece of metal in her leg?

God can raise the dead back to life. Does He not work for the living? This is the gospel we preach. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Do you believe that people can rise from the dead? If you believe, then is there anything that is difficult to accomplish? If God's ability is about the same as your ability, then why do you still need God? Even the most advanced level in the world cannot reach God's level, so do not think so highly of yourself.

How Exactly Do We Believe in God?

Some time ago, a pastor came to me and said, Can you pray for my wife? I asked, What is wrong with your wife? He said, My wife's ear has been hurting for three months. He has been a pastor for thirty years, yet he did not know that he had not handled it correctly.

Brothers and sisters, we must remember one thing: If you cannot handle your own wife well, can you handle the problems of other little sheep well? Is this not deceiving people? At some special meetings, they lay hands on people and these people fall to the ground, but they are still the same as before they got up. Those who had back pain before getting up still have back pain. These things cannot solve the problem. Why do people not know?

Later, I called and prayed with his wife for fifteen minutes, and the ear pain was completely healed. I think this matter should have created a shock in his heart, but it did not. He even turned around and said to me, Only you can do it, no one else can.

I am not trying to prove that I can do it, but to prove that God's words are all believable. I have already implemented God's words one by one. Although there are many that have not yet been implemented, I am also striving to implement them on the way.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” (Romans 10:14-19)

In fact, the Israelites all knew. How could they not know? The key is whether people choose to believe or choose not to believe. Paul said: Through faith, you can receive this grace. When people think they are doing well, they want to establish their own righteousness, and they cannot submit to God's righteousness. If they do not submit to God's righteousness, they will preach a wrong gospel. They preach a wrong gospel and still think they are serving God and are zealous for God, but this person is not acting according to true knowledge. These are the words Paul wrote to the Christians in the Roman church, to let them know that all are God's grace.

Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.” But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:5-9)

Therefore, what we are going to preach today is the pure gospel. This gospel is the power of God to save everyone who believes. This faith begins with faith and leads to faith. Many Christians become stubborn and rebellious people as they walk along. Why? Because they are captured by the anxieties of this life, because they are captured by a comfortable life. They do not believe that God is the most precious treasure in a person's life; they think money is important.

Is this not very strange? When they had money, they were so miserably controlled by demons. Now that they are better off, are they no longer afraid of being controlled by demons? They went to so many churches and none of them could solve their problems. Now that their problems have been solved, are they going back to their original life?

Preach the Pure Gospel, Walk the Path of Destiny

Today, do not think that just because a place has a Christian church sign, it is a church. Only those who preach the pure gospel are the church of God. Brothers and sisters, do not think that just because you believe in the Lord, you are saved and will go to heaven after you die. What is that called? So, you must know that our God is incomparably good. Even if we were once Gentiles, because of God's grace and mercy, God deliberately let us meet Him.

And Isaiah boldly says, I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me. (Romans 10:20)

Today, we have met Him. Are we still going to walk the path of morality? Are we still going to walk the path of works-based righteousness? Are these not all from God's grace? Why be a rebellious and argumentative people? Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must know that the true gospel is to possess the power of God, so that our faith may not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power. If a person wants to live a beautiful life, they must work with God.

I have talked about so many examples earlier, I just want to convey a concept: Now that we have come to know God and experienced God, are we willing to walk this path of destiny? If we are willing to walk this path of destiny, then we should no longer walk the path of works-based righteousness.

If you think that everything you do is good enough, you are finished, because we are still very far from being like Jesus today. If you think you are doing well, I tell you that is self-righteousness. Do not just talk about you; I am still very far from being like Jesus.

Strive to be a Blessing to Family

Recently, we released a book and a song, both called Strive to Pursue. I long for our brothers and sisters to be those who strive to pursue and rely on God's grace throughout their lives. None of this is what we deserve; it is that we believe that God is a good God and, through faith, implement God's words in our lives.

If it is only implemented to the level of receiving grace, this is not the best. If you want to receive the best blessing, you must become someone who passes on blessings. The first people you pass it on to are your own family. If you find it difficult to pass on God and bring good news among your own family, how can you serve others well?

If you are the first in your family to believe in the Lord, do you not need to take on the responsibility of your family being blessed? Some brothers and sisters are really terrible. Their family members go to a church that they do not even know what they believe in, and they say, Thank the Lord, my grandmother went to this church. They do not really care what they believe in, they only care that they went to church. What does going to church count for? Can you guide them into a gospel with destiny?

If you truly believe in the pure gospel, our God will walk with you, and you can live a life of God and man. Many people regard me as a divine man, but I tell everyone that as long as we believe in this pure gospel, we will all believe into divine men. If we understand God's heart more, will we not pay attention to what God pays attention to? If so, you will surely live a beautiful and wonderful life. May God bless everyone. Amen!
