Introduction

Good evening, everyone! Our event has reached its final night. These past three days have been exhausting, with constant preparation. Today, I will cover the fifth and sixth sessions. The fifth session is titled The Victorious Disciple. Some may say, Didn't you just preach about that this morning during the service? It's different. I would never simply repeat the morning's sermon. This is a rewritten version. The sixth session is titled The Hope of Glory. Do you want to live well? Of course, you dream of it! Do you want to be wealthy? You dream of wealth! Do you want to be healthy? You dream of health! Do you want to thrive? Ah, you dream of it! But dreaming is not very useful; you must be victorious! If you are constantly defeated in everything, like the late Qing Dynasty, you will be ruined.

If a person lives a life that resembles the late Qing Dynasty, that is a tragedy! Therefore, brothers and sisters, you must cultivate a victorious character! We have discussed the standards of discipleship. Jesus said the standard of a disciple is this… this… Do you remember? We also discussed the exceedingly rich rewards of discipleship, which are a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the world to come! Then, we talked about the price of discipleship. Good! We will pay that price; it is an investment. If you don't invest, where will the returns come from? You can't get something for nothing. Trying to get something for nothing will only turn you into a white wolf (a term for swindlers), and many people get themselves trapped.

So, have we calculated the cost today? We must understand the accounts clearly. Don't be foolish! After understanding clearly, make a decision: I have finally made a decision! Teacher, say no more. I have calculated the cost and I must become a disciple of Jesus Christ! Teacher, tell me how to do it! How to do it? That is what we are talking about when we discuss the victorious disciple. What must you do? The issue and key is that everything sounds good, but if you don't know how to do it, it is useless. If you don't know how to do it, it is useless. So we have all calculated the cost, and today we will discuss how to be victorious.

Do you know how the Chinese Mingding Doctrine does it? Today, I will teach you how. People say, Teacher, your teachings are so grounded. Why are they called grounded? Because they are practical. And why are they practical? Because they not only explain the concepts and provide a lot of background, but also tell you how to do it. Everyone must understand that the Chinese Mingding Doctrine is an engineer-style faith. It only counts if you can do it; if you can't, it's nonsense! I am not a philosopher, although I have read a lot of philosophy; I am not a literary scholar, although I have read a bit. I am an engineer, so the Chinese Mingding Doctrine has a distinct engineer-style faith.

Sometimes, I see some people who are quite interesting. They are also pastors. Don't nitpick, I am just speaking my mind. They themselves are not victorious, so how can they teach you to be victorious? They can't! I think I have a very clear characteristic; what I speak is grounded because I speak about what I do. After I do something and find it very good, I share it. Everyone must know that I have done many things. When I used to work, I was a good employee, and my bosses became my good friends. I am a solid worker, so when I looked for a job, I always received letters of recommendation from my current boss. Why? Because I delivered results. I only talk about what I do; I only talk about what I have done.

Brothers and sisters, you must know that this is definitely not boasting. I am a victorious disciple! Really? The path I have walked, gritting my teeth and stamping my feet, can it be fake? Look at those who have built up their businesses; can that be fake? No, it's not fake. So today, I am really not boasting; I really know how to do it. The first thing in the Chinese Mingding Doctrine is to learn how the theory is explained, and the second is practice. We not only have a high theoretical level, but also extremely rich practical experience. This is the best part! I am not like those who like to explain. They get cancer and explain why they got cancer. After explaining, what then? You should solve the cancer! If you can't solve it, you can only explain that cancer is a blessing in disguise. That's pure nonsense, isn't it?

Our God is a real and practical God who not only tells us the theory, but also demonstrates it for us. How Jesus was victorious is how we should be victorious! Because we imitate Jesus Christ. Many people say this path is difficult, but our God has long told us: This path is not difficult; it is in your mouth and in your heart. Don't say someone needs to go to heaven to bring it down… It's not necessary! In fact, God's way is very straightforward, saying this path is not difficult. How to be victorious? Imitate Jesus.

So why do some people find this path difficult? Because their minds are filled with mush; they haven't calculated it clearly and don't understand anything. They are not clear on the theory, nor on the practice, and they just blunder about! That won't work! So today we will discuss how to be victorious? Don't think this path is difficult! It is not difficult. Although it may require some gritting of teeth and stamping of feet, that's normal! But you really don't need to bite off your tongue, nor stomp your feet until they are fractured. You don't need to.

I. Stand Tall, See Far

A person without vision is a tragedy. Have you heard of people without vision? Ah, this person is short-sighted! Does it sound good? No, it doesn't. So who can stand tall and see far? Great thinkers, great politicians, military strategists, theorists are those who can see far. I must say, without the great leader Chairman Mao, there really would be no New China. He saw far, and we must admire that! This is really not just empty talk; he turned a poor and backward China into what it is today, and in just a few decades, it has been able to catch up with developed countries!

Back then, you had to have foresight, so you needed to see thirty or fifty years into the future. He could see thirty or fifty years, far enough? Yes, far enough. Unlike us, we are lucky if we can see three or five years ahead. If you lead a large country, you must be able to see thirty, fifty, or even a hundred years ahead! I admire that; I see that they are powerful. Like Chairman Mao and Deng Xiaoping, powerful! We must admire that! They were able to see a strong nation a hundred years into the future, on that poor and backward land of China. Consider, if you run a school, you should be able to see three, five, eight, or ten years ahead, right?

If you are managing your own life, where should you look? If you manage a life and don't see into eternity, it's a tragedy! Short-sighted! Just seeing your son get married, getting your son a house… seeing only that far. Maybe after a while, you will find your daughter-in-law displeasing, and then your daughter-in-law and son will become enemies, and you will go down the same path, just as conflicted. Who told you not to see far? You must learn to manage. Let me tell you, we are not looking at three hundred or five hundred years, but into eternity.

So, the first point I make is: Stand tall, see far. Why stand tall and see far? If you don't stand tall and see far, it's a tragedy! You will make the wrong decisions! If a person can only see one or two years ahead, and is also lazy and unrealistic, and of little value, right? Without ability. And also loves money! What happens? They will either embezzle or become corrupt.

Do you know why people get depression? Are there still any among us with depression? Or children with depression? Why? Because their vision is too short! If you make me depressed, I won't be depressed. I see into eternity; why would I be depressed? In eternity, I have a glorious hope. Why would I be depressed? If a person is short-sighted and can't see far, they might end up getting swindled and sent to northern Myanmar. Vision is crucial! So if you ask me, look into eternity, don't be like a rat.

Look into eternity! If you look into eternity, what do you see? If a person's vision doesn't exceed eighty or ninety years; if you don't look beyond a hundred years, few live past a hundred. Once you look beyond a hundred years, what you see will immediately appear before you, a small coffin, a grave. Just the other day, I saw someone buried, buried! Before that, I saw him lively and kicking, but this time he was confined to a small box. I went to the funeral home to pick up his small box and, with his daughter, placed it in a grave. What did I see?! Brothers and sisters, look ahead. If you are eighty years old this year, you don't need to look a hundred years ahead, twenty years is enough. You'll see an urn!

Like me, I won't even see the urn, gone! So I think, what are people doing? Fretting, fretting about what?! Don't fret anymore. You know, many years ago, when we still had physical churches, if I could do carpentry, I would definitely nail together a coffin! I would find piece of wood, carve it, paint it, so it looked like a golden Phoebe coffin! I would put a coffin on the stage in the main hall, so anyone who was confused, depressed, or gloomy could go lie in it for a while!

And if I made two coffins? You lie in it for a while, and I lie in it for a while, how about that? When I say that, everyone laughs and instantly sees things clearly! If I also drew a crematorium next to it, but you can't make a real one, it would catch fire. Then when a person comes out, they become ashes. After coming out, my love, my hatred, gone! Have you been victorious? You’ve been victorious! Everyone demonstrate, do you have this feeling of victory? You do, right? Ah, past loves and hates, meaningless!

Ah! Someone said, Teacher, your trick is good! Good, prepare one at home. So the problem is that people's vision is too short. People's vision is too short; they can't even see the urn, only the immediate things before their eyes. Studying for university, studying until depressed; dating a girlfriend, dating until depressed; dating a boyfriend, dating until depressed. Doesn't this make sense to you after I explain it? How is it? I have a trick! I have many tricks! Everyone knows I have tricks, right? I’m telling you I have tricks.

It's good to have wisdom. Once I went to a friend's house; he was in my former small group. He had a child, two or three years old, crying frantically! He was trying to soothe the child, sweating profusely, drops of sweat dripping down his face. I was sitting there watching. I thought, You fool, you can't handle it; it's useless even though you're sweating so much! I said, Move aside, let me handle it. And I handled it well. Do you know how I handled it? I won't tell that story today; it's too long.

You must know why the child is crying, right? Are there any among us who have been made miserable by a crying child? Because when he cries, he sees you sweating profusely, and when he sees you sweating profusely, he feels great! So he cries even harder, and then you sweat even more. If he doesn't make you sweat, how can he be worthy of you? He is powerful! He is very powerful. You must know what he is doing; he is tormenting you. You know my trick. I had the child's father move aside, and I said to the child, Do you want to cry? He said, Yes, I want to cry. Good, I support you. Here is a mirror; you can cry to the mirror, someone will keep you company; you look at him, he looks at you, cry as hard as you can! You have to cry! Then I went to the side, poured myself a cup of tea, and slowly drank it, laughing and joking with them while I drank.

After the child cried for a while, he turned around and saw that I wasn't sweating, I was drinking tea! I drank it loudly, Glug glug, deliberately making noise. The child stopped crying. The child stopped crying! I said, Don't stop, don't you like to cry? The child said he would never cry again. Why? Because I wasn't sweating, so what was he crying for? Ah! Amazing. I have a trick, right? You must have tricks to live! To be victorious, you must have tricks! So today, brothers and sisters, we must stand tall and see clearly! Cry then! Right? Cry? Ok, it is not me who is crying.

II. See from God's Perspective

Stand at the height of the eternal God, stand beside God's throne, and see into God's plan. Remember! Seeing from God's perspective is extraordinary! Why am I powerful? Because in the spiritual world, my name is loud; in the spiritual world, my name is powerful! The height at which I stand is the height of God's throne, and I understand the affairs of human life clearly completely. I know clearly the schemes of the demons, and I know clearly the word of God! Otherwise, could we have founded the Chinese Mingding Doctrine? We could not have. Some people joke with me: Teacher, you are very powerful. I said, That's right! Someone like me only comes along once every five hundred years, right? I am just joking. But actually, that's true!

Five hundred years ago, Wang Yangming founded the philosophy of the unity of knowledge and action. Five hundred years later, there is another Liu Yangming, who founded the Chinese Mingding Doctrine, and also made a name (Yangming) for himself. When we stand at God's height and look down: Good heavens! Suddenly, we see into the Book of Revelation! Suddenly, we see that this world will be destroyed! So after we have seen this we say: “Oh! That’s is this way! So what to do?” Hence, decisions are easier to make.

See the world from God's point of view, and you will not be troubled! What does God want to do? God wants to bring disciples into eternal glory! So what about those who are not disciples? Those who are not disciples are trash! That is a critical event! We can't be trash! What should we do? Be victorious disciples! If we’re victorious disciples, we will enter eternity, that is why you have eternal hope, isn’t it?

Many years ago, I was very offended by a particular phrase: to transform the world. When did God say he wanted to transform the world? God wants to destroy this world, do you understand? When did God say he wanted to transform the government? There is no such thing. The only thing God does is to bring victorious disciples into eternity and destroy the rest. Do you know what God created the demons to do? The demons are very diligent. The work that the demons do is quite interesting, which it is to clean up trash.

The Chinese Mingding Doctrine has allocated all these tasks it is just that: Old Ma，colllects trash. God, Jesus Christ collects treasures into the kingdom of God. That's how it is. The demons work overtime twenty-four hours a day, they are very hardworking, and they really should be rewarded a bit; they are really hardworking. Why do I say I have a good relationship with Old Ma? One day it came to me and said: I am helping you build the church. At that time, my theoretical level was not good enough, and I didn't understand much. I asked, What? Are you helping me build the church? How are you helping me build the church?

Today, my brothers and sisters, we must understand that horses have a certain characteristic. If you can tame them, you can ride them. If you cannot, you cannot ride them. If you tame the horse, it becomes your mount. If you cannot, it becomes a demon. In Journey to the West, you often hear about this, like the mount of Taishang Laojun becoming a demon when it descends to earth. Taishang Laojun can tame it and ride it, but if you cannot tame it, it will bite you. So, I thought, this old horse is quite good. You know, Jesus came riding on a horse. Why? Because the old horse was tamed. Otherwise, how could he ride it? Isn't the horse good then? The old horse spoke to me. Why? Because I tamed it. It said, I will help you build the church. I asked, How? It said, I will help you clean up the garbage.

It even named names, saying, I have taken so-and-so away. Oh my goodness! I asked, Who are you taking away next? It said, I cannot tell you. Heavenly secrets cannot be revealed. Even though we have a good relationship, it would not tell me. You see, if you stand at God's height and look, we are meant to transform this world. Garbage is garbage, and the victorious disciple is a victorious disciple. Today, brothers and sisters, will we choose to be victorious disciples? I tell you, if you look at it from eternity, with an eternal perspective, how difficult is it to make this decision? Not difficult at all.

Today, I must tell you that World War is upon us. I think our generation will experience World War III. We all know what happened after World War I and World War II. After World War III, we will certainly enter the Stone Age. This is what nuclear war brings. If that is the case, we see that God has a great plan in eternity, like Taobao picking out treasures from this world, then establishing a victorious church, and this church becomes the body of Jesus Christ.

Some people do not understand this. They specifically drag garbage into the body of Jesus Christ. Isn't that corruption? If God does not curse you, who will? Many people just drag people into the church, bringing all this garbage into it. I tell you, the Chinese Mingding Doctrine only accepts treasures when building a church. If you want to donate, I do not even want your donation. I only want treasures. Therefore, the church is the body of Jesus Christ, so not everyone is saved in the church that is built. Those things are just nonsense. The Chinese Mingding Doctrine's view of the church is that it is for receiving treasures, it is a church of victorious disciples. God's plan is to obtain us so that we can become vessels that display His glory.

Have you seen World War? Yes, we have. Transform? Why transform this world? Many people, many churches, work very hard to oppose homosexuality. I have been wondering why bother opposing that? Have you noticed Jesus opposing homosexuality? No, he did not. There were many homosexuals in that era. Did the Apostle Paul? No. Did Jesus and the Apostle Paul want to transform that generation? No. They did not care about that. They only cared about one thing, which is to pick out the treasures and bring them into eternity. If you are that treasure, give yourself a thumbs up! Wow! I am actually a treasure in Jesus Christ! You say that no one around me agrees. That is okay. Even if no one follows me, I will still follow Jesus Christ! Because things are valued for their rarity.

Oh, God's plan is for us to become victorious disciples, to enter into God's promises. Because no matter how many of God's promises there are, they are Amen and faithful in Jesus Christ. Is it simple? Yes, it is. The problems we have discussed are not about how to do it in practice, but about how to see it. If you stand high enough, many problems will be easily solved. If you stand at God's height, many things will be easily solved. Some people live in these confusions, saying, God, why did you create these demons? You are so bad! I really want to give God a thumbs up for creating demons. I say, God, you are really wise to create demons, otherwise, no one would pick up the garbage. If you are not high enough, you will be messed up by the demons, and then you will blame God for creating demons. Isn't that right? You are not victorious!

You must be a victorious disciple, and you must think from God's perspective. Therefore, the Chinese Mingding Doctrine has been talking about a very important concept, and that important concept is: What is God's will? Oh, I try very hard to guess, very hard to ponder and think. Ah, I understand. God makes everything beautiful in its time. Someone is collecting garbage. Hey, God's work is so wonderful. I really thank God. I feel that many people have not figured this out and then go on to become pastors. Isn't that a tragedy? God does not really care about family, God does not really care about the country, does not care about the home, God only cares about His glorious church, the body of Jesus Christ. Therefore, isn't it good for us to enter into God's plan? If we enter into God's plan, we must be victorious disciples even if we die!

Three: Victorious Disciples 1: The Blood of the Lamb

Let’s look at a verse from the Bible:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Revelation 12:11)

Overcome who? Overcome Satan. This one sentence makes everything clear. Do not think it is because of what you have done. No, it is because of what God has done for you. The blood of Jesus Christ, how powerful is the blood of this lamb! If you depart from the blood of the Lamb, it will be difficult for you to be victorious. You must know that the key to your victory is that Jesus Christ died for us and died on the cross. As long as you have seen a ghost, the blood of the Lamb, the precious blood of Jesus Christ, is upon me, and it is done. It is absolutely effective. Why is it effective? Because none of us are perfect.

You need to know that the logic preached by many churches cannot be self-consistent. In a church I used to go to, the pastor was talking nonsense. What nonsense was he talking about? He said: Whether or not a ghost can enter you depends on whether there are cracks in you. Oh my goodness, the cracks in me are not cracks, they are simply sieves, with large holes and small holes, just like honeycomb briquettes. Why? Far from perfect. Good heavens, ghosts can come in and go out at will. What kind of talk is that?

Do not despise the blood of the Lamb! Today, brothers and sisters, you must know that when we first believed in the Lord, our lives were not perfect at all, not victorious at all. Because of the blood of the Lamb, demons cannot do whatever they want to us, because God has the final say. Without God's permission, can you do anything? Isn't that right? We are still small and growing. Because of the blood of the Lamb, demons cannot do whatever they want to us at all. Weren't we quite rotten when we first believed in the Lord? No time to read the Bible. Even after reading it for many years, we could not understand it. Isn't this because of the blood of the Lamb? You cannot be justified before God by your own actions, but by the blood of the Lamb. How wonderful is this statement!

When the devil sees the blood of the Lamb, that is, the precious blood of Jesus Christ, his face is disgraced, he is ashamed to death, he is humiliated! Today, if you encounter a ghost again, I must tell you today, if you really encounter a ghost when you go out, show it the precious blood of Jesus, it will be terribly humiliated. You say to it: Satan, you fool, look at the precious blood of Jesus, you have been defeated, you little thing. Isn't that right? I tell you, in the spiritual world, it is utterly humiliated. When it hears the precious blood of the Lamb, its face is distorted. Then, we sing skits in the spiritual world every day, and the angels cheer and rejoice, while the devil is ashamed and embarrassed. Why is this the case? Because the wisdom of Jesus makes the devil ashamed and embarrassed.

Jesus willingly went to the cross. The devil nailed Jesus to the cross, thinking it was over, game over. Actually, it was not. As a result, Jesus was victorious, resurrected, ascended to heaven, destroyed the one who had the power of death, and destroyed the devil Satan. From then on, we can be victorious in this spiritual world through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. From now on, we no longer rely on our actions, but on the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Do you understand now? This is not a fig leaf for us not to grow. We still need to grow, but when you have not grown well, you still have to rely on the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are not victorious, the precious blood of Jesus Christ is our great grace. Do you all understand this time? It is normal to be less than perfect, but the blood of Jesus is still effective.

Four: Victorious Disciples 2: The Word of Our Testimony

The Word of Testimony and the Word without Testimony are not the same word. You know that the Word of Testimony is powerful. What Word of Testimony do we testify to? It is that we can trample on the devil and the enemy in the spiritual world, so the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a Gospel of healing and exorcism. You need to know that what I hate the most is talking a lot of philosophy. The Word we testify to surprises me, it’s a Word with powerful testimony. Why don’t I like to explain things? I would rather demonstrate something first and then explain it to you. The reason? Many churches preach the Gospel and leave out healing and exorcism. Then how can you give testimony with this Gospel? Jesus even had to rely on miraculous signs such as healing the sick and casting out demons to prove that He is the Son of God and confirm the Word He preached. These are two things. One is testimony, with miracles of healing the sick and casting out demons to bear witness; the second is the Word. You must have the Word of Eternal Life and you also must have testimony. Do you understand?

The key is not to explain things, but to solve problems. Explaining problems is not important, solving problems is more important. Because solving problems relies on spiritual warfare, trample on the devil in the spiritual world. This is the key. So today brothers and sisters you need to know, how much of a testimony do we have, In our church? Today we will play some old testimonies. Every week there is so much, and the testimonies that are shared are only a small portion. Sometimes I joke and say that the testimonies we preach in one week is better than what some churches preach in one year! It is what it is, because God is manifestly dwelling with us. We are the disciples of Jesus Christ, God has given us all authority in Heaven and on Earth, How could we not trample on the devil and the enemy, How could we not solve problems?

We have not only explained the problems of sickness, but we have also explained the problems of finances. All the problems of our lives are solved in Jesus Christ. How wonderful is this! The key lies in victory. The key to victory is in the Word of our Testimony. So why testify? You can have faith in God and experience God by relying on Him. You need to know that there is a lot of testimony to service in our church. The divine signs performed by the small 18 year old pastors who serve are plentiful. Everyone is agree right? I’m not even exaggerating.

Today, I must tell you, this Word of God is a testified word, that is, the Word of Eternal Life. We preach the Word of God very clearly, and we also preach clearly on how to implement it, including dealing with the flesh, building the church, how to pastor, what faith is, what salvation is, and we preach all of it clearly. I will no longer go into it in detail. But where is the key to victory? The first is the precious blood of the Lamb, and the second is the word of our testimony.

Five: Victorious Disciples 3: Not Loving Their Lives Even Unto Death

So today, brothers and sisters, you must know that if we live in eternal life today, will we still be afraid of death? We will not be afraid of death. We are no longer living in the flesh today, and our spirits will live foreve. Because it is the Spirit that gives life, and the flesh is of no avail. We have a glorious hope within us. Today, we see with our own eyes how God dwells with us. Our faith today is no longer a theory, as if it were pure philosophy, it is not. It is that we are really experiencing God every day. If I were to speak of the miracles I performed, they would be too numerous to mention.

If these miracles were all performed by me, alas, God is really real. Is the glorious hope in eternity real? It is real. Then do we still care about death? When we die, it's not like blowing out a light. It's not like we burp, fart and it is over. Right? No. It is that I am living in eternity today. Today, I am standing at the height of God's throne, looking at my life. I must live out God's glorious image no matter what. Wow! Strolling around in the spiritual world with my arms crossed, all the devils and enemies can be trampled on.

We in the Chinese Mingding Doctrine do not worship angels because we are made in the image of God, and animals are made in the image of angels. Can you imagine how we would worship angels? So, my brothers and sisters, do you know now? Is it simple? It is very simple. There is theory, practice, and practical arguments. I tell you, if you do not become victorious disciples in this world, then you have lost out big time. Because being a victorious disciple is easy. This Dao is not difficult to practice, it is in your mouth and in your heart. If you really believe it, I tell you that your life will be lived in the glorious light of God.

Alright, have we explained the Victorious Disciples clearly today? We have. If someone forces you to die, just die. We are already in eternity, so why are we afraid of death? Those without hope are afraid of death, but what is there to fear about death when you have hope? Death is not blowing out the light, it is not the end. You are already in eternity. It is the Spirit that gives life, and the flesh is of no avail. Okay, do you feel more relaxed? Right, do you feel free? Yes, victorious. Is it difficult? It is not difficult. The Chinese Mingding Doctrine is to make very complicated things very simple.
