I. Introduction

Good morning, everyone. Today, I want to share a topic with you, a topic posed as a question: Why did Jesus cast out demons? You should know that I like to delve into many questions, and I study them deeply. When I study Jesus, I ask: Why did Jesus cast out demons? We're revisiting the passage from last Sunday's sermon, Evangelism, Healing, and Casting Out Demons, but today's topic is Why did Jesus cast out demons? In fact, some of you should have been asking last week: Why did Jesus cast out demons? I feel like why bother casting out demons? You sit under the Bodhi tree, lay out a straw mat, sit cross-legged, put your hands together, shave your head bald and shiny, and chant some incantations. How easy is that? Strolling here, strolling there, casting out a demon on the left, casting out a demon on the right – what a commotion. Now, it's not good, nowadays people hear 'casting out demons' and always feel it's a bit strange. Why? Science is so advanced, why still cast out demons? This matter is very troublesome.

So, why did Jesus cast out demons? Why didn't Jesus act like Buddha? Why didn't He act like Lao Tzu? Like the Supreme Lord Lao, concocting elixirs in a furnace would be so much better; concocting elixirs could even make money, and eating them could grant immortality. Why did Jesus have to cast out demons? This is really worth asking. Do you think the question I'm asking is interesting? The year I first came to faith, I asked a very strange question, and later I answered it myself. Many people couldn't answer it.

Later, the establishment of Chinese Mingding Destiny was tied to those tricky questions I asked in those years when I first came to faith. When I asked those pastors, they said: Why ask? Don't ask. It's not that they wouldn't say, but they couldn't answer. I asked, Why did Jesus cast out demons? and those pastors who didn't cast out demons got so angry their faces turned white. I went to seminary to attend classes; I sat down below and raised my hand. The teacher said, What do you want to ask? I said, Teacher, how does Jesus view this matter you're proposing? The teacher said, I'm not Jesus, how would I know how Jesus views it? Okay, then I won't come next time. If he doesn't even know how Jesus views it, what am I listening to here? I don't have time to waste here.

When Jesus's casting out demons is mentioned, many people don't know. Today I have to explain it clearly to you: Why did Jesus cast out demons? Not long after I came to faith, I felt, what is this business? Didn't God promise Abraham that promised land? I felt that God could just blow and blow all the people in that land to death, and then the Israelites could just hold a banana leaf fan, wear flip-flops, big shorts, and casually stroll in with a bunch of keys to open the door. How great that would be! Oh, I said: God, why did You make it so troublesome? Moses and Joshua even had to lead troops into battle to obtain the promised land. It's so troublesome; in the wilderness, they still had to build a tabernacle, and then promulgate the law, establish the Ten Commandments, and then go in to fight. When people didn't want to go in, they were destroyed and died in the wilderness.

I was thinking, was this necessary? God! Actually, God doesn't blame me. I said: God, let me give You an idea. Can we not do it this way? Let's stroll in casually, holding a banana leaf fan, swiping our phones on TikTok, click, open the door, and it's mine. Still have to fight? Fighting will cause deaths; bullets have no eyes. Fighting is too strenuous. God ignored me. After I asked that pastor, he glared at me. No one could really answer. Isn't it I who's answering today? Actually, you can't obtain the promised land without victorious warfare. This is a very essential point of the Chinese Mingding Destiny.

Why do Christians fail to obtain the promise and die in the wilderness today? If you ask them to cast out demons, they say, I can't. If you ask them to enter the promised land, they say, I won't go; there are giants in there. Do you think this is critical? It's critical! This question was raised by me when I was young. Since no one answered, I answered it myself. I did research, and haven't I researched it all out? The matter of dying and going to heaven was also researched, but it hasn't been fully researched. Later, when people asked me how many people can go to heaven, I couldn't just say anything at random. Today, let's look at what Jesus said.

Jesus said, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! (Luke 13:31-33)

I like to give Jesus ideas, but I always feel that the ideas I give are a bit poor. I said, Jesus, why do You always have to cast out demons and heal people? Wouldn't it be better to study the Bible today and preach tomorrow? This casting out demons and healing seems kind of strange. When people hear it, they think it's heresy or a cult? Doesn't casting out demons and healing sound scary? If you've never heard of it, when you hear casting out demons and healing, you think, Oh no, this is a bit scary. I said, Jesus, if You say studying the Bible isn't good, then what about praying? Prayer is okay, but that's not what Jesus said. Then let me give You another idea; what about leading small groups and training disciples? That's not it either; it's just healing and casting out demons. Jesus said, 'Go tell that old fox that today and tomorrow I will cast out demons and heal people, and on the third day my purpose will be fulfilled.' It's quite interesting.

Today, we need to know that people cannot be released without casting out demons. So, casting out demons ultimately releases people. This is definitely not a matter of gifts; it's a matter of who you are like. Some people believe in Jesus and gradually develop a face like Buddha. No matter how you look at it, they seem more likely to go to the Western Paradise than to heaven. The matter of casting out demons is a matter of who you are like. I'm not afraid some people can't listen, but I can tell you that many problems are a matter of casting out demons. When Chinese people mention casting out demons, there are too many inner dramas. Casting out demons to release people is about whether problems can be solved, not about explaining problems. It's said that someone came to Buddha and told him that his child had died. The parents were in distress. Buddha said: Go into the city and find five families, and see which family hasn't had a death. That person came back and said, Every family has had a death. Buddha said: So it’s normal for your family to have a death too. What kind of talk is that? When someone came to Jesus and told Him that his child had died, Jesus went and brought that child back to life. How amazing Jesus is!

I like to solve problems. I often ask myself a question: If Jesus were here, what would He do? Am I a bit peculiar? Otherwise, could I do this Chinese Mingding Destiny thing? If Jesus stood before a person with depression, what would Jesus do? Jesus would definitely release him, no question about it. Then I look in the mirror at my face, and I think: Can I do it? Really, I can't. I don't have this gift; I have nothing. I don't have the skills to take on this work. I thought for a while, and then decided to learn and do it at the same time. I must be like Jesus no matter what!

Later, some people laughed at me and said: Someone like you wants to be like Jesus? I said: Being like Jesus is a bit difficult, so how about being like Paul? Some people said: Someone like you wants to be like Paul? I said: What? Can't I be like Paul? This time, I got fired up because Paul was also a human being. As a result, people said: You can't reason with him. Forget it. They gave up, but I haven't given up yet. When someone with depression comes, they're all healed. Why? Because I believe that God's will is for me to be like Him. If I thirst and seek, God will definitely give me these things. Do you think my logic is good? Jesus casts out demons, I cast out demons too. Someone asks: Have you seen a demon? I said: I haven't seen one, but I still cast them out. Isn't that good? As a result, many demons were cast out.

So, the issue of casting out demons is a matter of who you are like, not a matter of gifts. Many people get it wrong. Jesus said, Today and tomorrow I will cast out demons and heal people, and the third day my work will be finished. Then today and tomorrow I will cast out demons and heal people, and the third day my work will also be finished. Will it be finished? It will be finished! No matter how many difficulties and obstacles there are ahead, there is nothing wrong with being like Jesus. There are many people who oppose me on the road ahead. No matter what denomination, is there a problem with me being like Jesus? No problem, we must be like Jesus.

Demons are quite interesting. If you pray for them by pressing down on them, they won't leave. Can they leave that easily? I said: You little thing! Then the demons speak. We both sing each other: they call me ‘little thing’, and I call them ‘little thing.’ It says, See? I haven't left even though you've pressed on me. I said, That's okay. I have plenty of time. I can press ten times. The demon says: I won't leave even if you press me ten times. I just won't leave, you little thing; even if you press me ten times, you won't be like Jesus. Jesus only has to press once. I said, That's okay, sooner or later I'll press you once and you’ll have to leave. I'll press a hundred times, ten thousand times. Sometimes I press in the wrong place, but then I’ll just press in the right place again. I have so many stories about casting out demons: a lame leg, casting out demons; a twisted ankle, casting out demons; a fracture, casting out demons; a headache, casting out demons; blindness, casting out demons. I've become addicted to casting out demons. After casting out a demon, I feel like I've had a whole Manchurian banquet.

Once, a person staggered into the church, crying out in pain. I asked him what was wrong. He said that when he was coming from the subway station, a Taoist priest walked towards him, wearing a Taoist robe and with skin like Guan Gong’s. When he walked past the Taoist, there was an evil energy on that person. He was pushed back two or three meters and fell, and then his leg became lame. I prayed for the leg by pressing on it. Usually, these kinds of problems with the leg would be resolved in ten or twenty minutes, or at most an hour or two. But this time was different. I worked on him for two hours, and I was covered in sweat. He was covered in sweat too, but he was still not healed. I calculated that I had pressed it seven thousand two hundred times. That's okay; there are still two thousand eight hundred presses until ten thousand.

I said, this matter is quite strange; I've never encountered this before. I folded my arms across my chest and pondered this matter. How could this demon be so difficult to deal with? You stubborn thing! As I was pondering, a word entered: press his Zu San Li point. Even today, I love to press people's Zu San Li points. It's a habit I developed at that time. My fingers are quite strong. I pressed his Zu San Li point like I was hitting an acupuncture point. I said: In the name of Jesus Christ, pain be gone! As a result, when I released my hand, he was healed. At that time, I was stunned. I said: Oh, the demon was living here, you little thing, I've caught you.

So I'm telling you this matter: we've come here step by step. This is all scientific research. What are we researching? We're researching how to cast out demons. That is, we must be victorious in the spiritual world. That's how things are done in the spiritual world. Oh my goodness! We've researched one thing after another. Recently, I have to continue researching. What should I research? I want to research learning disabilities – how can your child become a top student? Start having this determination to cast out demons. In fact, teaching disciples and lecturing are the main pillars of the church. After training, no one knows what was trained. Eating, drinking, playing – anything is fine, except casting out demons.

The church has eliminated the matter of casting out demons, so the church doesn't solve problems. Why? Because it has eliminated the most important thing, which is casting out demons. They think that casting out demons sounds a bit scary. This is a demon-casting pastor. It sounds bad to them, but it sounds good to me. He has to be useful, right? Why has the church eliminated this most useful thing, casting out demons? That's foolish! Sometimes I speak quite harshly: if the foundations of elementary school weren't laid well, and the texts can't be understood, go back to elementary school. Casting out demons is closely related to obtaining the promise; casting out demons is closely related to prosperity; casting out demons is closely related to the release of the captives and the freeing of the oppressed; casting out demons is closely related to the exercise of faith; casting out demons is closely related to the understanding of God's Word.

If you don't know God's Word, God's Word is to use spiritual words to explain spiritual things. You will definitely find this sentence if you read 1 Corinthians: we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. We don’t explain political economics with spiritual words. Many people don't know what they're doing. They explain spiritual words as worldly words. They only talk about worldly words. Do you think that can work? In the end, God sees that it won't work and just takes them away to heaven. So today, let's continue to read this scripture. We must have a theory. Without a theory, without a classic, without a source, it's all nonsense. Everyone must know that there must be scripture. We must learn from Jesus; don't learn from Buddha. You've come to the wrong place if you learn from Buddha here.

II. Scripture

At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.” He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!” (Luke 13:31-33)

III. Prayer

God! Today, may You raise up great and mighty warriors to cast out demons among us; God! Today, may You build a mighty army among us; God! May Your glory fill us, and may You raise us up in this generation to be like You, casting out demons and healing the sick today and tomorrow, and on the third day our work will be finished; God! You are our dream, You are our example, You are the goal we pursue; God! We just want to be like You, Jesus Christ, we just want to be like You; God! Even if it means laying down our lives, we are willing; God! May the captives be released and the oppressed be set free; God! May Your will be satisfied, and may Your glory fill us. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

IV. Scripture Background:

This passage can be used to preach not just two sermons, but three sermons. The scripture background of this passage is different from the scripture background of the previous passage. This time, the background is centered on why Jesus cast out demons. You must know that Jesus went to a place and saw a woman in that place who was possessed by a demon and had been ill for eighteen years, so her back was bent and she could not straighten up at all. I tell you, crooked backs and back pain are all caused by demons. My mother's back is miraculous, a veritable miracle. My mother has a pit the size of a finger on her lumbar spine, which shows what? It shows that section of the lumbar spine is already damaged. I ask you, with a pit in that place and half of her lumbar spine missing, can she still walk? I tell you, my mother walks normally. Why? Because she has a demon-casting son.

This woman had been possessed by a demon for eighteen years, and her back was so bent that she could not straighten up at all. Every Sabbath for these eighteen years, she came to the synagogue to worship God. Why couldn't they release her while singing songs? Why did Jesus have to come to release her? This woman was bound by a demon for eighteen years. This week, she met Jesus, and blessings came! Jesus did one thing, telling her to come over and saying: Woman, you are set free from your infirmity. Was she set free? Not yet. Remember, if I tell you that you are set free from your infirmity, your faith should arise and you must believe. Then Jesus laid his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up. Why? Because the demon was attached to her waist, so she could not straighten her waist. When the demon left, her waist straightened up, and there were no problems. Give glory to God!

A woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up, and praised God. (Luke 13:11-13)

I ask you, what was that synagogue used for before? The previous synagogue was a synagogue without Jesus; the previous church was a church without Jesus. Our previous church was a place without Jesus's presence. Now, when I build a church, I want to build a church with Jesus's presence. What am I doing without Jesus's presence? I gather a bunch of people and get exhausted having to make dumplings for them. Even though Jesus is so amazing, there are still people who are unhappy. Today we will not talk about whether they are happy or not. I do not care. I only care about one thing: Jesus is a demon caster. This is very interesting. As a result, Jesus said:

Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden; it grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.” (Luke 13:18-19)

Jesus is the mustard seed. He performed a miracle and cast out a demon, and then this mustard seed can grow into a large tree. The genes of the mustard seed and the genes of the big tree are the same genes. That is, the mustard seed grows into a mustard tree. The mustard seed cannot grow into a grape vine. This is very clear. I plant a watermelon and it grows watermelons. If someone plants a bitter gourd and asks why it didn't grow a watermelon, that person has a problem in his brain and is a fool. Why did Jesus say this? Originally, Jesus planted a seed of demon casting, and today we have all become demon casters.

If you want to solve problems and want to prosper, be a demon caster; if you want to draw on God's promises, be a demon caster. Do you want to have a good business? Everyone hears this and wants it in their dreams. However, you must have a way. You have always lived like a dried-up prune. You can't do anything right, and you have been muddling through until today. You will be the same way if you continue to go on. I tell you, you must cast out demons. Lazy demons, cast out the lazy demons; alcohol demons, cast out the alcohol demons; smoking demons, cast out the smoking demons; gambling demons, cast out the gambling demons; lust demons, cast out the lust demons. You really cannot solve anything if you do not cast out demons. Therefore, when Jesus spoke, He said that there will be many people casting out demons in the future. This is faith. Jesus said that the mustard seed grows into a large tree. They are the same gene and all have the gene of Jesus Christ. Surely they will be like Jesus, surely they will be like the mustard tree, because they came from the mustard seed. Later, He spoke another parable:

Again he asked, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

That is, put this demon-casting yeast in this lump of dough and let the yeast spread to the whole lump so that the whole lump rises. It refers to the genes of demon casting, the yeast of demon casting, and they must all become like this. Actually, Jesus's idea is like this, but people don't think that way. This is Jesus's heart. Jesus has a beautiful hope, that is, He plants it and today and tomorrow He will cast out demons and heal the sick. Like a seed that is planted and grows into a towering tree, Jesus hopes that we will all become demon casters. As a result, casting out demons has become a narrow gate. Why is it a narrow gate? When you look at it today, it is a narrow gate, and only this group of us are entering. I ask you, are there more demon-casting churches or non-demon-casting churches? There are not many demon-casting churches, so today we will enter this demon-casting gate, and there may be several layers of gates.

Casting out demons is definitely a beginning. Strive to enter. Why strive to enter? Because demon-casting warfare requires a price and is very hard. Once you cast out demons, you stir up a hornet's nest. How many hornet's nests like mine have been stirred up? I have stirred up many hornet's nests. Some pastors say to me: Teacher, it seems that there is no turning back on this road. I say: Why? He says: I have stirred up so many hornet's nests. If I go back to the hornet's nest, won't they sting me to death? This is really true. He cannot return. How can he return? Where can he return to? He has offended so many demons.

Why is it said to be a narrow gate? The matter of casting out demons alone filters out many Christians. Brothers and sisters, do not misunderstand today. You must learn to read the text. Many people say, He casts out demons, therefore Jesus does not know him. I ask you, Does Jesus know you if you do not cast out demons? If you go back and read carefully, what do you find? It turns out Jesus is saying, Even if you cast out demons, I might still not know you. If you do not cast out demons, then forget about it; you have not even entered the gate yet. Isn't that right? You have not even entered the first gate. So, brothers and sisters must know this. Do not get it twisted. This passage of scripture speaks of the narrow gate as a gate of casting out demons. Casting out demons to what extent? To the extent of laying down your life without any reservation. This battle must be won!

Why do we not care about laying down our earthly life? Because we live in eternity. Because today and tomorrow we cast out demons, and on the third day, my work will be accomplished. Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, I must press on and never retreat, even if it means dying in Jerusalem. I would not consider dying outside of Jerusalem. Do you all understand what this means? It means, If I do not die on this spiritual path, how can I be content? Never retreat! Therefore, Jesus says this is the narrow gate.

Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord, open to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.' Then you will begin to say, 'We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets'; and He will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.' In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out. (Luke 13:24-28)

As for what is outside, let us not worry about it. I do not want to worry about it. I just want to enter. Do you think my idea is good? Oh, some people study what is outside. They say, Outside is also in heaven, and it is fine. It is OK if Jesus does not know me. What kind of mind is that? They specialize in studying the outside. They should be nicknamed Outside, useless! Why? Because they do not bear fruit. Because the gospel we preach today is to set the captives free and to liberate the oppressed. Whom have you set free? Whom have you liberated? If you have not, how will you account for it? Then where are you if you are not outside? In fact, the previous example of the unfruitful tree is about cutting down the tree. Useless, it is only good for firewood. Therefore, brothers and sisters must truly repent. If you have not cast out demons today, you must change. Let us enter inside, shall we? It is good inside.

V. Casting Out Demons is to Set the Captives Free and to Liberate the Oppressed

Know that being captive is no joke. This Israelite woman whose back was always bent over and could not straighten up, people think it is normal. Doctors cannot cure me, what can I do? Because it was a demon. Doctors can solve illnesses, but they cannot solve demons. In fact, there are not many illnesses that can be solved either. So, to set the captives free and to liberate the oppressed, today, as we look around, how many people need to have demons cast out? They just do not say it. When they have a headache, they say, Teacher, I have a headache. That is a simple illness. But if some illnesses are more complicated than that, what should we do? There are many that are more complicated. They go crazy when they encounter something, or they speak demonic words when they encounter something. Are these not all people who are bound? They all need to be released.

Today, our brothers and sisters must first attain freedom. If you often do things you do not want to do, and you regret it afterward, do any of us often take regret pills? After doing it, alas, why did I do this? After doing it, you regret it. Demons bully these ignorant people. So, to set the captives free and to liberate the oppressed, this is the gospel. Nothing else works. Chanting scriptures does not work, casting out demons works. So, do you need to pay a price to cast out demons? Yes, you do. I have paid a high price. Why can I cast out demons so well today? Because I have paid a high price in the past. I have practiced a lot.

Today, our brothers and sisters must know that I will practice my skills to the extreme. When I step into the ring, the demons must fall, right? If you have not practiced and you go up, who will fall if you do not fall? You are just engaging in empty and fake things. Like that Tai Chi master, he was knocked down by an amateur boxer as soon as he went up. One punch sent him somersaulting, two punches sent him somersaulting twice. In the end, when he got up, he became a panda. He became a national treasure! When casting out demons, do you not have to start practicing from basic skills? Some people are very interesting: I have a cold, forget about it. I say, Then what are you waiting for? Are you waiting to get cancer? If you cannot handle a cold, can you handle cancer? Cancer is even harder to handle.

So, start practicing from the cold. Where did I start practicing? I started practicing from back pain, arm pain, and back pain. One time, someone came with blind eyes, and another time, someone came with legs swollen like wood. That was scary. Alas, I hugged that leg and said in my heart, God, can you give me something simple? Why is it so difficult? These people are really bad, why did they give me something so difficult? If I cannot fix this, it will be so embarrassing. Look at what I was thinking in my heart. In the end, I had to grit my teeth, stomp my feet, and lift up the leg to pray. I rubbed and massaged it while praying. If it did not work, I would give him two acupuncture treatments. Anyway, I have many tricks. In the end, he got better. He had to get better.

VI. Casting Out Demons is an Exercise of Faith

Casting out demons is an exercise of faith. Why do you exercise faith? Because the demon is playing with your faith. If you do not have faith, you cannot deal with the demon. You can only deal with the demon if you have faith. In the beginning, I had no vision inside, no voice, and God did not tell me anything. Then I looked at that big, swollen leg, and I closed my eyes and told myself not to look, do not open your eyes, use spiritual eyes to look, do not use carnal eyes to look. So, in my faith, I saw a good leg. They asked me, Teacher, did you really see it? I said, No, I did not see anything. But in my faith, the eyes were healed, the legs were healed, the severe depression was healed. Do you think I am a miraculous person? Very miraculous, very faithful, very characterful. In my faith, he was healed.

I thought casting out demons was great. One time when I was preaching, I said that people play video games, I play demon games; people watch horror movies, I make horror movies. Mine are all real battles, and that faith is powerful. Some people came over and asked me, Teacher, are they all healed? Looking at his eyes full of doubt, I said, Hey, no such thing. He said, If there is no such thing, how can you say that? I told him: I am talking about the future. In the future, you will become a remarkable person. Really? Really! Sometimes, to build up people's faith, I will lie to him because he does not believe. So I will say to him: I just saw a vision. You will be a prosperous person in the future. He asked me, Teacher, are you saying this by faith? Look at the things they are saying. Is it not right for me to say it by faith? Is that not exercising faith? Useful!

People are temperamental, I am a person of faith. You better be a person of faith, but not a person of temperament. People of temperament are useless, they are carnal. People of faith are good. Every one of them is an exercise of faith. In the past, there were many demons we could not deal with, but when only 10% of the people were healed, occasionally one or two were healed, I would say there, They are all healed. Later, someone asked me, You are talking nonsense. They are not healed. I said, I will tell you a secret. He said, What secret? I said, Once I believe they are all healed, the 10% will increase to 20%. Once I believe again, it will increase from 20% to 40%. Do you believe it? He said, Hey, your method is quite powerful.

My faith is built up little by little. How can anyone have faith with one breath? There is no such thing. That is fighting demons battle after battle. I tell you, some deliverance I persisted in for five years, and some I persisted in for five years and still have not been delivered. I will persist for ten years. My faith is all built on the Word of God. There is still much land to be possessed, but in my faith, those unpossessed lands already belong to me. Do they belong to me? They belong to me because they are in my faith.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, a person of faith must be a person who casts out demons, and a person who casts out demons must be a person of faith. So Jesus said: Today and tomorrow I cast out demons and heal the sick, and on the third day my work will be perfected. Today and tomorrow we cast out demons and heal the sick, 10%, 20%, 30%, Jesus is saying today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and I am saying today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and the day after that. What about that? It is the same. I am okay with the day after that. I always have faith. Even if I die, what I believe will be accomplished. Alas, I thank God: God, how did you create me like this? God, you created me so well!

If you are a naturally faithless person, today become a person of faith. I am the one who turns the faithless into the faithful. I am the one who makes the losers win because God has chosen me before the foundation of the world to accomplish His mission for me today. This is my task, my destiny! How can I exercise faith if I do not cast out demons? I really do not know how to exercise faith if I do not cast out demons. I cannot solve people's problems if I do not cast out demons. I do deliverance in mental hospitals, which is powerful, right? They all know I cast out demons. Then people say, How can you, a highly educated intellectual, still cast out demons? Casting out demons requires scientific research, it requires a lot of in-depth research, and sometimes the research topics are very deep. Today, we are going to do a new round of casting out demons. This is the accumulation of many scientific research results over the past period. That is amazing. That is soaring in the spiritual world. Casting out demons is so good!

VII. Casting Out Demons is to Test the Extent of Our Knowledge of God's Word

Do not shout slogans. You will find that I do not like to shout slogans. I like to be grounded in reality, I like to do scientific research, and I like to study the Word of God, explaining spiritual things with spiritual words. Some people think that the stories I tell do not seem to be the Word of God. That is all done by studying the Word of God. Do you think you can come up with that by slapping your head? Slapping your head might produce tofu brains, which are useless. My building a church is different from those who build a church without knowledge. Some people build a Peter's church, and I build a Paul's church. Testing, the demon is really powerful, that guy is simply a game. If you do not know enough about the Word of God, you really cannot answer. Do you want me to examine you today?

Sometimes when I minister, I feel irritable. I hate these foolish people. Later, I calm down and silently tell myself: Learn from Lao Tzu, be like Jesus. Then I suppress the flesh. If you don't suppress the flesh, can you act according to the flesh's desires? As soon as I get irritable, the demon says: Look, you're annoyed, aren't you? You hate him, don't you? Alas, checkmating you is enough to make you suffer. I grit my teeth and stomp my feet. Although I hate this foolish thing, I will never act according to my will. I will act according to God's will. Demon, today, you are going to retreat! I will not act according to my fleshly desires, although my fleshly desires are still there. I am not joking, but every time you obey the flesh, you lose the battle. When you obey the word of God, you win the battle. So when Jesus talked about that with the devil, He said:

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4)

Therefore, I tell you, study, really study hard, otherwise what will you do? Establishing a church will be the same, will be meaningless. If you want to build, then build a church full of God's glory, because knowing the Word of God allows you to know that you must build God's army according to God's words. A church is built according to God's army, so the requirements are high. Many people are really bad and really need to be dealt with. Like a military officer in Shandong, went to Tanzania to train the African army. After the training, those little blacks became very powerful, speaking with Shandong accents, and even standing at attention and standing at ease were in the Shandong style. They are very good in battles, why? That is because of training.

Then let us try training one today. I heard that military officers in the army train soldiers and throw a big bunch of firecrackers into the barracks at three in the morning. The room rattles with explosions. Can you still sleep? You will be frightened, and you will jump up from the bed in one minute, put on your clothes, and gather on the playground. Demonic training, you want to press down the demon, so do not you have to get demonically-trained as well? Knowing God's word allows you to build God's glorious church and build a powerful army according to God's word. What does the Book of Numbers say? Only those who can fight are counted.

As long as you are willing to train, I will train you like that military officer from Shandong who trained those little blacks from Zambia, and you will definitely get tanned. Fighting, if you are like a seedling, you will be exposed into the sun and be finished. Must be strong, true faith must be built on the word of God. But why is Jesus casting out demons? Because casting out demons can liberate people. People in the devil's power do not have a choice, walking in a certain way and ending up doing something. Then Jesus used faith to cast out the devil; and that faith is based on the word of God.

VIII. Casting Out Demons in Order to Draw on God's Promises

Chinese Mingding Destiny explains clearly on this point: Why did the land God promised to Abraham require Moses and Joshua to lead troops to war in order to obtain the promised land? Because it is essentially an exercise of faith, and only those with faith can draw on God's promises. What kind of faith? That is, faith in casting out demons. Going into the Promised Land with flip-flops, shorts, and a vest, with a bunch of keys can get one in? You can enter if you are able to. Yet, the next day you will definitely go to the refining furnace. Can that be played out that way?

How is our mighty army training today? We have a series of training courses. They all said: Teacher, since coming to Chinese Mingding Destiny, life is so fulfilling! I said, Come on, do you mean that things are very busy? That is very busy. If you do not work hard in college, can you study well? If you do not study hard and do not take exams well, can you get into college? It is that everyone is very busy when they come, but it is good, drawing on God's promises! Drawing to the God's promises can get one upset! With the God's promise, it is better to go to the promised land, or is it still good to live in the wilderness? Surely it is good to go to the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey! But is it very difficult to fight a war? It is very difficult, but what is earned is the Promise Land.

Today I will announce a promise to everyone, that God will make you prosperous. That is the will of God, and it is definitely not to live a dry and shriveled life. If you want to live a dry and shriveled life, you have come to the wrong place. If you want to live mediocrely and go to work from nine to five, muddling one day after another, you have come to the wrong place, you should go to those churches that are more considerate of the flesh. To draw upon God's promises, the fact that we can draw on God's promises is the key to our living out prosperity!

IX. Casting Out Demons is a Demonstration Given by Jesus

See that? Jesus is demonstrating to us again and again and again so that we will not make mistakes. I can demonstrate to others: drive the nail, draw the picture, write the program, act so, manage things, and shepherd the way to shepherd. Demonstrations have to be done. What a great demonstration Jesus has made for us, enabling us to see the healing in casting out demons! This is great, as it cannot be called consideration of the flesh, but demonstration. You ask me does Jesus consider the flesh? Jesus does not consider the flesh. The demonstration Jesus made for us seems to be about our flesh, so that our bodies can be redeemed, is actually to allow our bodies to get free. It is hard to walk with a bent back, is it good to be able to straighten up? It is good to straighten up. Do you want to walk around with a bent back? If you do not want to walk around with a bent back, stand up, but straighten up, and you will need Jesus if you cannot straighten up.

Jesus made a very fine demonstration, to walk in Jesus' way. Jesus mentions Today, tomorrow, and we will speak of Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and beyond! What does it matter? There will surely be a day when I will become more like Jesus, and there will surely be a day in which each of you will become more like Jesus; not only that, there will surely be a day in which each of the brethren is able to draw upon the promises of God in this world, and that we will become a victorious elite soldier in the spiritual world, and is able to continue to demonstrate being as Jesus is demonstrating to us. What if you can demonstrate being to others? We are determined to take path of Jesus!

X. Summary

This is the will of God, the good will of God will be fulfilled. How can the devil's doing and the demonic powers holding people's will captive be solved if you do not cast out demons? The Jesus that I know is a demon-casting Jesus, the Jesus that I know is absolutely not a Santa Claus, and the Jesus that I know is definitely not Sakyamuni. The Jesus that I know bears witness that He is the Son of the Living God by His great power. Fine things must come to pass and that God's promises will be entirely fulfilled in us. Amen!
