Introduction
Good day to all. This activity, which we started half a year ago, is essentially coming to its final sessions today. The topic for these final sessions is Gaining Destiny and Becoming a Blessing. I must tell you, who doesn't want to be blessed? No one wants to live poorly. When I was young, I often heard adults say that someone with large earlobes was very fortunate. I've always been interested in what blessings are all about. From childhood until I believed in Jesus, and even after many years of believing, I still didn't quite understand how blessings came about. Later, our church began to explore this issue and eventually formed the foundation of the Chinese Mingding Destiny theology. What is it called? It's that there is no blessing outside of Destiny.
The term “Destiny” is a bit grand. Why? Because Destiny means I was born for this, I live for this, I die for this. That's what Destiny is. Why is it that blessings only come within Destiny, and there are no blessings outside of it? Listen to my exposition over these few sessions. After these sessions, we plan to lead everyone into a new activity called Encountering God. Experiencing God is not difficult; many people experience God, but truly becoming a blessed person is a bit challenging! Our next activity will be in about three to four weeks. This activity is to allow everyone to begin experiencing God. Experiencing God is like going to a store and the staff lets us sample something. If it tastes good and the price is right, we buy it and take it home.
Today, we want everyone to have that experience! How can we experience it among us? As long as you are willing, you can experience it. Your willingness is one thing! Having a group of people with Destiny is the most crucial thing. Why do many people experience it among us but not elsewhere? Because this place has a group of people with Destiny, and there is no blessing outside of Destiny. We are the ones who share blessings. So, the next three sessions are called Gaining Destiny and Becoming a Blessing. Christians all want Bless me, bless me, bless me... But is there a blessing? It seems like there is, and it seems like there isn't; it's a bit uncertain. But if you gain Destiny, you will surely become a blessing to many people. This is the very important topic we want to share today.
Let's briefly review what we've been discussing over the past half-year. We first talked about how to study the Bible. Then we discussed the theological system of healing and deliverance. Then we talked about the victorious church. Afterwards, we talked about pastoring. Now, we will talk about gaining destiny and becoming a blessing, as a conclusion to this half-year course, which will be about three sessions. Everyone, listen to my explanation of what it means to gain destiny and become a blessing.
Actively Seeking God's Revelation
Firstly, how did this become an important concept of Chinese Mingding Destiny theology? This originated from a very simple question, so simple that the brothers and sisters among us today might wonder why they don't see God's blessing in many churches. In the Bible, we often see Jesus touching a sick person and they are healed, or touching the eyes of a blind person and they can see. We see that many problems in the New Testament, like casting out demons, are rampant. But why is it that today, this matter seems so different from what's in the Bible? We also see many phenomena, such as pastors getting cancer.
When pastors get cancer, people who visit them in the hospital say words of comfort, but there is absolutely no such phenomenon in the Bible. There are even documentaries, for example, about a Christian who gets nasopharyngeal cancer. They track this Christian from the diagnosis of nasopharyngeal cancer all the way to treatment and death, seemingly wanting to show how strong this person is. However, I really don't see such testimonies in the Bible, yet many testimonies today are like this. This brings me great confusion: why is it so inconsistent with what the Bible describes? And many things the Bible talks about are not seen; not only are they not seen, but what we see is not the kind of situation recorded in the Bible. We have great confusion, but many people don't ask this simple question: are we doing something wrong?
This matter brought me a very simple thought: are we doing something wrong? Because we feel that if we're not doing it right, that's why it's like this. This is a very simple matter. If a program I write doesn't run, I can't blame the computer. If I build a car that doesn't run, I can't blame everyone else's cars for not running. So, the engineer-style approach to faith is very simple. I would think: Why is what I'm making different from others? For example, if I study aviation and build an airplane that doesn't fly, it would be foolish to make excuses and say that it's normal for airplanes not to fly!
We see that the church in the Bible is like this, but the churches around us are not like this. Everyone thinks that this is just what the church is like, but I cannot accept such a conclusion. I began to seek. Actually, I started establishing a church before I became a pastor. Why establish a church? Because I saw many people who needed ministry. But my ministry methods at the time were influenced by many churches. I would see how other churches did it, and I would try to find ways. I thought my ideas were pretty good at the time. I used braised beef, roast chicken, and roast duck to attract people to the church. As a result, only a few of those attracted are left today; it's not a complete failure.
After everyone came, I felt that my method was pretty good. In fact, many churches still do this today. But what happened? From that time, I seemed to be under a curse. Actually, I really was under a curse; I was besieged on all sides. Originally, my work was very blessed, and everything I did went very well. But since establishing the church, it was over; many things were fraught with difficulties. After this happened, I even thought I was the Job of our time! I spent money, I put in effort, I used braised beef, all of which I paid for. Then I attracted people to believe in the Lord and establish a church. Isn't that good? What's wrong with me? I put in so much effort, I spent so much money; what's wrong? There's nothing wrong.
But the problem came: it didn't conform to the Bible! Later, to what extent did I get? I got to the point of not having a job. My job was a very high-paying job, so not having a job was very miserable. At that time, I had many mortgages to pay off; the situation was very dire. But at that time, I thanked God; God let me know one thing, that I had done everything wrong, and I needed to start seeking. Don't think that just because you're serving, you won't be cursed. Actually, the curse comes from not carefully keeping and obeying God's word. Do you think that if you don't serve according to God's word, you won't be cursed? You will be cursed! Do you think that just because you're preaching the gospel, you won't be cursed? It's not like that; if you preach a wrong gospel, you will still be cursed!
This immediately explained many things. At the time, I felt that I was the Job of our time; it didn't matter if I suffered a bit. But later, I knew I had done everything wrong. The most impressive thing about an engineer is that it only counts if you can make it work. At that time, I began to kneel down and pray, seeking how I should establish the church. I think God was really gracious to me; through that long detour, I learned from others how to establish a church. I had previously learned it wrong, so I began to seek. I want to encourage the brothers and sisters among us: never treat God's word as a joke; God will never get it wrong. The ones who often get it wrong are ourselves! It's like the program you write can't run properly in the computer; you can't blame the computer, you have to blame your program for not being right.
When we begin to seek, God is already there waiting for us. Among us, there are some pastors and ministers who come to learn. I want to encourage you: if you haven't gotten it right, know that you haven't gotten it right! Back then, I suffered a lot, shed a lot of tears. I didn't understand, so I knelt down and prayed, seeking, and God's revelation came. How did God's revelation come? It came through reading the Bible. In the beginning, many things were difficult to understand, and I didn't know how to interpret the Bible. You can't just interpret the Bible haphazardly. Today, if brothers and sisters listen to me study the Bible, you may have heard it repeated many times.
Doing What God’s Word Says
What I like to boast about the most is that our God is truly a faithful God. When I knelt down to seek God properly, God's revelation came. How did I study the Bible? It's very simple. I asked God how to implement it. An important concept of our Chinese Mingding Destiny theology is to do what God's word says. If you can't do what God's word says, it's useless. Because I've read the Bible a lot, God's words are like thunder in my ears: carefully keep and obey God's word. Not just carefully keep it, but also obey it.
Two years ago, my mother got Alzheimer's disease, and I gradually got rid of the demon of Alzheimer's disease. Today, my mother came into my room and said she wanted to be a pastor. I said, That's great! Do you have any problems? She said she couldn't remember things. I said, Then how come you can't forget how to make dumplings? She said it's because she's done it for so many years. What I mean is that things you've done are hard to forget. My mother couldn't do it at all during her Alzheimer's period, but after she recovered, she started doing it again. I sent her video to the family group, and everyone was surprised. If you forget, it means you didn't get it right at the time. If you put God's word into practice, you won't forget it. After reading God's word, you have to think about how to put it into practice.
Gaining Destiny and becoming a blessing is the most fundamental concept of our Chinese Mingding Destiny theology. God's blessings are all conditional. How can you be blessed? You have to carefully keep and obey. Not only carefully keep and obey, but also carefully keep and obey all the decrees and laws. It's all of them! Many people think it's too difficult to carefully keep and obey all the decrees and laws. You don't have to break all the laws; breaking one is enough to kill you. You don't have to violate all the traffic rules; violating one will get you fined.
Doing God's word brings blessings. So what exactly do you do? You carefully keep and obey. I used to get it wrong. The church was desolate, I lost my job, and all that was left was time. I began to pray and seek how to carefully keep and obey God. There are so many words in the Bible; how do I do them? I summarized the Bible in one sentence: gain Destiny.
No Destiny, No Blessing
As the scripture says:
It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore. (Psalm 133:3)
Let's not argue about where the term Destiny comes from for now. How did I come up with the topic Gaining Destiny and Becoming a Blessing? When I read Genesis 12, what God said to Abraham was very interesting.
The scripture says:
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)
Blessings started from here. What Abraham sought was Destiny. Destiny is what you live for. If you live for yourself, can you be blessed? It's very difficult! Because I see many phenomena of not being blessed. Some people say that this person is a pastor, so the pastor carefully keeps and obeys God's word. That's not necessarily the case! Carefully keeping and obeying God's word has no direct relationship with whether you are a pastor or a leader in the church. Carefully keeping and obeying God's word brings blessings; not carefully keeping and obeying brings curses. We can tell from the results; there's no need to comfort people with false words.
Some people get cancer, and they say that this is a gift from God. Today, we must all come out of this kind of myth. We cannot use the phenomena we encounter as truth. In fact, evangelicals are saying this. Not only are they saying this, but they are also using phenomena to replace truth. There are too many such things. A few days ago, I knew a pastor among us who was implementing what I said. He said that no one had ever interpreted it this way before. After that, many people in his church were healed. Today, let's ask: is healing God's promise? We must not only understand the interpretation of the Bible, but also clearly understand what the results of implementing it are. Later, I discovered one thing: no Destiny, no blessing. If you live for yourself, it's already good if you're not cursed. You still want to be blessed?
We must begin to know: gaining Destiny and becoming a blessing is very important. Many people don't want to live for Destiny; they just want to live for themselves. If you don't want to be cursed, you must gain Destiny. Among us, there is a child who thinks 5 plus 4 equals 8. He is extremely selfish and has been very selfish since childhood. He has received great grace among us. We constantly train him and constantly give to him. Afterwards, we asked him if he could pay tithes, and he just wouldn't do it. He was originally a useless person, but now he has become someone slightly useful. But he is still extremely selfish. Can he be blessed?
Emulating Jesus Christ's Complete Self-Offering
Today, we all desire blessings, but what exactly is the path to receiving blessings? It is to diligently observe and follow all of God's words. There are many words, so we transform all of God's words into a system, and this system is called Chinese Mingding Destiny. Chinese Mingding Destiny is interpreted through destiny. Where does the term destiny come from? God blessed Abraham, and Abraham was a seeker of destiny, as was his son. He had two grandsons, Esau and Jacob. Jacob took great risks to obtain destiny. Jacob was born the younger son, but he knew the covenant God had made with his father and grandfather. He wanted to receive the blessing from God, so he did not hesitate to deceive his father, and he put in a lot of effort, not pursuing romance until he was 75 years old. He wanted to obtain the birthright, which is called destiny, that comes from God's covenant. He eventually obtained it, but at a great and painful cost.
Jacob paid a great price for his destiny. Joseph became the savior of his family, which was his destiny, and he also paid a great price. Tamar disguised herself as a prostitute to bear children from Judah for the sake of blessing, and later Tamar became a remarkable figure in the genealogy of Jesus. Rahab and Ruth later sought destiny; they did not live for themselves but for God and became a blessing to many. On earth, whoever proclaims the name of Jesus Christ must also proclaim Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Tamar, Ruth, and Rahab. Jesus Christ came into this world to be a blessing to all nations. Today, if we live as a little Jesus Christ, wouldn't we also become a blessing to many? This is destiny.
Last time, we said that if a person does not destroy the worldly and vain dreams within, they cannot seek destiny. Without such a foundation, it is impossible to continue in the faith of Jesus Christ. Why did my mother recover from Alzheimer's disease? Because I have destiny. Some people cannot even bless their own mothers; who can they bless? It is because they do not have destiny. Destiny certainly comes from diligently observing and following God's will. May God's will be done on earth, or rather, be done in us. If we diligently observe and follow, and begin to become people with destiny, we will become blessed people.
I often ask many people: Do you want to be rich? Do you want to be blessed? Do you want to have destiny? Many people want to, but where is the path? The path is in destiny. If people live in vanity, how can God bless them? Those with destiny are considered treasures by God; those without destiny are considered foolish in God's eyes. Obtaining destiny to become a blessing is to become a blessing to others, not to bless oneself.
Jesus Christ completely offered Himself, and we receive blessings from Jesus Christ, who becomes the Most High and sits on the throne. Today, let us emulate Jesus Christ's path of complete self-offering. This path is a path of complete self-offering, not a path for blessing oneself. Therefore, blessing and curse are myths. There are many selfish people now. A brother and sister once said when leaving the church: Pastor, don't curse me! I said at the time: Why would I curse you? God is the one who curses you.
If a person has destiny, they will be blessed wherever they go; if a person does not have destiny and lives only for themselves, then they are subject to a curse. When we act according to God's words, we are on earth as in heaven, sitting with Jesus Christ in heaven, because we have destiny. Receiving the grace of Jesus Christ, we sit with Jesus in heaven; can we not be blessed? Blessing and curse are both spiritual matters.
Today, to the selfish Christians among us, I remind you: If you are selfish, blessings have nothing to do with you. When we become people with destiny, healing the sick and casting out demons will surely be effective. In the spiritual world, we can overcome all obstacles and be formidable; demons will fear our names. Our reputation in the spiritual realm is earned through battle! Last night, a demon came to find my mother to see if she was dead. My mother felt very uncomfortable because people feel uncomfortable when demons come. I led my mother in a few words of prayer, and she recovered. My mother said that the demon saw me coming and hurriedly left. I think this is how it is for people with destiny. If you ask me if you are doing things right, let us look at the results.
Striving to Become a Blessing to Others
The scripture says:
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well. (Mark 16:17-18)
Healing the sick and casting out demons are things that are done, and they are the most basic things Jesus did. Why? Jesus' twelve disciples, after a little training, could go out and cast out demons. These are not very profound things. It is not that if your life is not good enough, you cannot cast out demons. Can God not reign? Healing the sick and casting out demons are things that are done. When you begin to obtain destiny, live for God, and implement God's words with faith, you will find that you have this ability.
Therefore, we must become a blessing to others. Giving money to people in poverty does not solve the problem; it is the curse of poverty. If you want to bless, cast out the curse of poverty. This is destiny. In times of sickness, cast out the evil spirit of sickness, and we will become their blessing. Serving people is becoming a blessing to them; shepherding the flock and laying down our lives for the sheep will become a blessing to others.
The scripture says:
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. (Genesis 12:3)
If God is pleased with you, who can stand against you? What a wonderful promise. If you enter into such a state, you will be blessed. A person who becomes a blessing to others, God will surely bless you and make you a great nation. Some of the brothers and sisters among us sometimes say: I want to go find Teacher Liu to pray. This is useless. Instead, say: God, I want to become a blessing to many people. God will bless you. Selfish people cannot receive blessings, so begin to break down the illusory things within you and desire to become a blessing to others.
I often hear some brothers and sisters say: I don't have time; my children and work require so much of my time. These people are foolish. If you know that becoming a blessing to others will lead to God blessing you, you will put down what you are doing and do the most important thing. Today, I passed by a mental hospital. I used to go there often because when young students were admitted, I would go. Although I cast out many demons in those years, I did not align the church correctly at that time, but I would seek God, and God would reveal things to us and lead us onto the right path. If you live for yourself, then you are a selfish person. Those who live for themselves live under a curse, and you will be beneath all the nations.
If you know God but do not act according to God's words, deliberately disobeying God's words, I dare to boldly prophesy that you will suffer a deep curse because not a single word of God will fail. Many of the brothers and sisters among us who were healed of depression and mental illness went back to living small lives. Some people will even say, Doesn't God want me to take care of my family? This sounds like it makes sense, but we need to know what the Bible says:
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. (Matthew 19:29)
This is the word of God; do not twist it. Taking care of your family is not destiny; it is not called God's word. God's word is for us to become a blessing to all nations on earth. If we emulate the faith of Abraham, we must be people who see through the essence of living. If you have not seen through the essence of living and become a selfish person, you will be cursed by God.
Willingly and Gladly Becoming Disciples of the Lord Jesus
We live for God, for God's will. Why did you come into this world? Today, I want to give you a few passages:
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (Matthew 28:18-19)
But many people do not become disciples; they only become believers. This is of no use; it is only a semi-finished product. The final product is a disciple. Today, many churches do things and forget, thinking that believing in Jesus is enough. Believing in the Lord is only for praying for my work, business, children, and college entrance exams, but this is not God's will. We must gradually break down the worldly value system, which is nothing but vanity of vanities. We must all take on destiny and willingly and gladly become disciples of the Lord Jesus.
The scripture says:
Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10:37)
But today, if people love their wives, families, and jobs more than Jesus, can such people become disciples? Going to church on Sunday is not enough to be a Christian. Being a disciple of the Lord is about forsaking everything for God and following Him. Those who do this will receive a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the age to come. When we forsake for God, we receive blessings. How can we be blessed? Destiny is the key to unlocking blessings. Destiny is implementing God's word and the entire system of faith.
God says:
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Luke 4:4)
Shouldn't the disciples of Jesus Christ rely even more on every word that comes from the mouth of God? The summary of God's words is called destiny. Our Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology has a complete system of faith, which you can view on the website. I dare not say that Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology has aligned everything correctly. We are still constantly seeking, constantly adding, and constantly updating because knowing God is endless.
Today, let us begin to understand one thing: if we do as we are told, there will surely be results. If you implement the entire Chinese Mingding Destiny Theology system of faith, I tell you definitively today that you cannot help but be blessed. Obtaining destiny and becoming a blessing, I think we still have a long way to go.
Today, Christians must break free from a myth. Some people think that because they believed in the Lord in 2012 or 2014, they have received grace and salvation. What is receiving grace and salvation? People who say these words do not look like they have received grace and salvation at all, living for themselves all day long. How can that be called receiving grace and salvation? If I ask you again: Do you want to live a blessed life?, everyone will say yes, dreaming of it. Begin to obtain destiny, begin to learn to be disciples of Jesus Christ. This is a great test because being a disciple of Jesus Christ really requires forsaking many things. It is not that after you forsake them, they are completely gone. Everyone who has left things for the name of Jesus Christ will receive a hundredfold in this life and eternal life in the age to come. I think these words are very well said.
Conclusion
Brothers and sisters, today, if you are building a church, begin to build according to God's word. If you are a Christian, begin to be a disciple of Jesus Christ, desiring to become a blessing to others. I believe that God's will is constantly being revealed to us in this generation. God has given us such a precious revelation, and we freely give what we have freely received.
Even if there are a thousand or ten thousand churches with destiny in this generation, they will not be able to serve everyone because this land is so lacking in blessings and true gospel. So brothers and sisters, I encourage you again not to be afraid or alarmed but to learn to forsake and begin to see in the spiritual world that God wants to make your name great. When demons hear your name, they will flee in panic because God wants to bless you, God wants to be with you, and God will personally lead you to become a blessing to this generation.
Know that God's word is faithful; heaven and earth will pass away, but God's word will never pass away. Know that God's promises to us are exceedingly good. Those who are willing to receive them should try. When we have tasted the goodness of God's grace and know His goodness, shouldn't we act even more according to God's word? It is not about becoming a person who receives blessings but about becoming a person who shares blessings. You will become someone precious in God's eyes, and God will use you to become a blessing to this generation! If you are willing, pray with me now:
Lord Jesus, I am here. I ask you to send me and use me. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Lord, I am here; I ask you to use me and give me the heavenly authority in my hands so that I may become a blessing to this generation. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! May God bless everyone!
Before we end, let me advertise again. In three weeks, we will have a new event. You can invite your friends to come. The name of this event is Encountering God. In this Encountering God event, we will lead everyone in prayer, lead everyone to personally experience the filling of the Holy Spirit, and begin to experience God's healing and miraculous works. Whether you are poor or sick, you can come, or if you are eager to obtain destiny, you can also come. In such an event, we will lead everyone to personally experience God and see the wonderful works that God is doing among us. May God bless everyone again; see you next week!
