Introduction

Good day to all! I am most delighted to meet everyone here. Starting from tonight, once a week for four consecutive weeks, I will be sharing the foundational theories of healing and deliverance.

Some days ago, I hosted a wealthy man who appreciates ancient Chinese culture—the culture of bamboo. The matter he shared with me was quite interesting. Here, I'll take the liberty to do a little promotion. The items he collects are called Bamboo Luck Hall (竹运堂), and he hopes to turn it into a hallmark of the local city. He shared with me that he came to Malaysia for a second home vacation. I drove him from Singapore to Malaysia, and we had a long chat. He said the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme is quite good, but the only unresolved issue is the healthcare system.

The healthcare system is a serious issue. There is a common saying in the secular world, Better to have anything but illness, better to have money than nothing. But what does our healing and deliverance address? It addresses the issue of sickness. He is not a Christian, but concerning the healthcare system issue he raised, I told him that he must carefully consider, as the healthcare system is a very interesting system.

Consider this with me, if I send my car to the workshop for repairs and you repair it badly, you must continue to repair it until it is fixed. I will not pay if the car is not fixed. But with humans, it is very troublesome. When a person is sent to the hospital, simply placed there, whether the doctor fixes them well or not, you must pay. If you don't pay, they won't treat you. What kind of logic is this? If you send a television or stereo to an electronics store for repair, they must fix it well, or you will complain. But if the hospital doesn't fix you, who do you complain to? The doctor tells you there is approximately an eighty percent chance of recovery, but after the treatment, you might fall into the twenty percent.

Later, I told the wealthy man that he must be careful because the healthcare system is a very strange system, as it charges regardless of whether it fixes you well or not. And there is something even more abominable, for example, if you go in to repair your liver and they damage your kidney, you have to repair the kidney. It doesn't matter if the liver isn't fixed, you still have to pay, and if they damage the kidney, you have to continue paying for the kidney's repair. Isn't this life-threatening? If we carefully consider this structure, it seems to encourage doctors (unless they have excellent medical ethics and can perform miraculous cures) to earn more money the more things they damage.

I told this wealthy man to be careful and shared many testimonies with him, such as when his mother was in a wheelchair and, after my prayer, she stood up, and their living conditions have greatly improved ever since. He owes me a favor and respects me. I said that I have solved the healthcare problem because I have God. How wonderful God is! What the hospital cannot cure, He can cure; what the hospital can cure, He can also cure, except for those whose time to die has come. I am a Christian, and I have seen through both life and death. To depart from the world and be with the Lord is far better. Healing and deliverance is truly a treasure. Today, what I am sharing with you about healing and deliverance is basically the same as what I shared last time. I have edited some audio clips from the last session. If you have already heard it, you can listen again; it is truly good and beneficial.

Today, our brothers and sisters begin to understand this with me. Why do I say that the Christian faith is a treasure? If you carefully consider it, the Jesus we believe in has a very interesting phenomenon. He doesn't interfere with people dividing their inheritance or with brothers fighting, but if there is a sick person in the family and you bring them to Jesus, Jesus treats it very seriously. All who come to Jesus are healed, whether you like it or not; the Bible is written this way. Actually, I admire that denomination and this denomination very much. They call themselves evangelicals, believing in the word of God, but why don't they believe what is written in the Bible? I am very surprised.

It doesn't matter if they don't believe, but they also say, God does not heal anymore. Today, science is advanced, but if you look closely, especially at famous hospitals, they are as crowded as a wet market or a subway station during rush hour. Queuing for treatment can be very distressing. I encourage you to obtain this treasure no matter what. Do you ask if I have obtained it? I truly have obtained it, and I have greatly benefited from it. Healing and deliverance is the grace that God has given me in the Bible, and I have fully received its benefits. I also find it very interesting that such a good and beneficial thing still requires me to persuade you.

One day, I took an elderly person, almost ninety years old, on a one-day trip to Singapore. I drove him and spoke eloquently, sharing many things I have done. I said to him, What lies ahead of you? Your memory is not good now, and what lies ahead of you is Alzheimer's disease. I have a deep understanding of Alzheimer's, and you already have the initial symptoms of dementia. You have no recourse, but I have a solution. If you listen to what I say, I try very hard to persuade you, and I find it strange why it is so difficult to persuade you about something that is beneficial to you. Then the elderly person said, Yes! Why do you need to persuade me about something that is beneficial to me? He still understood.

Today, we must return to the Bible to look at the topic of healing and deliverance. Because we believe in Jesus, the Gospel as it is told in the Bible. However, if we cannot find a very clear discourse in the Bible, then our guidance will lack a theoretical foundation.

The Bible as the Foundation of the Faith in Jesus Christ

There is a difference between what intellectuals do and what ordinary people do. The essential difference lies in professional training. Let us review today that Moses received a very good education in the Egyptian Pharaoh's court. The Five Books of Moses that he wrote have had a profound impact on Christianity to this day. This was of course written by Moses through the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Moses' background was also used by God, which was a key component of God's training of Moses.

There is a very peculiar thing in the New Testament. Although Jesus Christ chose twelve disciples, including the great disciple Peter, and used Peter to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles, later God also chose the Apostle Paul. The Apostle Paul received very professional training in Gamaliel, which was a key component that had a profound impact on later generations. Paul detailed the essence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in his epistles in the New Testament.

I am a person who reads the Bible. I have read through three Chinese Bibles and one English Bible extensively. Because the Bible is the Word of God and is the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ. In the past few years, people have often criticized the Charismatic movement, and people felt that the Evangelical movement was quite good. Today, whether it is the Charismatic movement or the Evangelical movement, I feel that it is better to be of the Jesus Christ movement.

Today, we must return to the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ and re-examine what exactly we believe in. In the faith of Jesus Christ, healing and deliverance is a key component, and it is also a key component of the Gospel we believe in. There are many misconceptions in this generation. Our conference on healing and deliverance consists of four lectures: Lecture 1, What Jesus Did; Lecture 2, Why the Bible Says All Were Healed; Lecture 3, Taking Authority in Jesus Christ; Lecture 4, Removing False Misconceptions. Today is the first time, and we will start with what Jesus did.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ and Healing and Deliverance Are Inseparable

In my early years as a believer, I went to a good church. The brothers and sisters there were all good people. They picked me up to go to church and sent me home. For a period of time, I actually had a very deep need. My own wife needed healing and deliverance because she was deeply oppressed by demons. The brothers and sisters in this church were all good people, introducing one doctor after another. However, not many could solve my wife's illness, and the situation remained the same after going, so we no longer went to that church.

Afterwards, I thought about looking for a new church again. This time, finding a church gave me a very deep feeling. This church was a demon-casting church. After seeing it, I felt it was truly wonderful. I desperately read the Bible. The Jesus spoken of in the Bible is the Jesus who heals the sick and casts out demons. I saw so many people being healed, so why don't we want that?

One day, I mustered up the courage to stop the pastor and ask him to pray for my wife. After the prayer, all the pain completely disappeared in five minutes. Previously, she had to take a large handful of painkillers, and during this process, the pastor saw many visions. As I studied the Bible more, I realized that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is actually inseparable from healing and deliverance.

Regardless of the denomination, if you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, the miracles are simply amazing! What we share starts from here. After reading the Bible, we begin to implement what the Bible says. I am the founder of Chinese Mingding Destiny. One of the reasons for founding Chinese Mingding Destiny is that when I was studying many Bible materials, many places were not the original intent of the Bible. This was also discussed in the previous Bible study session. Afterwards, in the theoretical discussion on the foundation of healing and deliverance, I felt that there was a lack of detailed discussion in the Bible. I collected all the information in the Bible related to healing and deliverance, which is a key component of Chinese Mingding Destiny. What exactly did Jesus Christ do? Jesus does not interfere with disputes over family property, but one thing is certain: those who are sick and come to Jesus will be healed.

Preaching the Gospel and Casting Out Demons Is an Important Component of Healing

Seeing the essence through the phenomenon, being healed is a very important component of the Gospel. Later, it was discovered that Jesus trained twelve disciples to go out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Even the demons were afraid of these disciples. Later, He trained a second batch of seventy disciples to go out to do what? Preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Why didn't Jesus train these disciples to go out and speak grand principles? There was also a part of speaking grand principles, but basically, it was preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons.

Today, we return to a very important question: if Jesus Christ were to train a batch of disciples today, what would He train them to be like? Probably similar to the first and second batches: to go out to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons. Preaching the Gospel, healing the sick, and casting out demons is still God's will. If you return to the Bible and read it carefully, it is even more essential.

In the early years, when establishing a church, I had deep doubts. Although I was in a charismatic church where a lot of healing and casting out of demons was done, there were still many people who could not be healed. I had a deep desire in my heart that Jesus would touch and heal with just one touch, but today the church does not do what Jesus did. So I had a deep desire in my heart, especially later when I came out to establish a church, how could I be like Jesus? So I wrote a book called Do Healing and Deliverance Like Jesus, which detailed my journey.

This desire transformed into the motivation to seek. In the process of seeking, I constantly implemented and practiced it. Later, it was discovered that healing and deliverance is the most basic work of the church. Why do many churches not do the most basic work? What is the definition of the church? Let us return to the Bible.

Binding and Releasing Is the Basic Work of the Church

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19)

So we see that binding and releasing is the basic work of the church. What exactly is the definition of the church? Binding and releasing is a key component. After we understood these things, we vigorously promoted the work of healing and deliverance. Although we don't do it like Jesus, we are becoming more and more like Jesus. Today, among the brothers and sisters who come to us, whether you want to do healing and deliverance or be healed and delivered, this foundational understanding is very important.

Looking closely at the situation of today's church is very astonishing. This morning, I served a sister in Canada. Her child started having insomnia at the age of seven and is now fourteen. Now she is dizzy during the day, which is a very difficult situation. In her local church, there are really not many who do a good job of healing and deliverance, and there are not even many who have a deep understanding of healing and deliverance. If this person had come to Jesus two thousand years ago, what would have happened? She and her child would have been healed.

Are we completely like Jesus today? No. From the beginning of seeking until today, we are becoming more and more like Jesus. Many problems are really solved in a flash. In the early years, in the process of serving, the heart to be like Jesus drove us to serve for one hour, two hours, or three hours. Some endured for three to five hours, and finally all were healed. The heart of pursuing to be like Jesus is a hope for everyone. I encourage everyone not to give up.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. (Romans 1:16)

Because you believe, God will surely heal you. It Is God's Will That Diseases Be Healed

Today, you begin to understand that it is God's will that you be healed. Some years ago, I served a cancer patient in a local church in Germany. Returning home, he controlled and saw that his mother's condition was much better than before. At that time, he had a headache, and he was unable to heal it for nearly twenty years. Moreover, in Germany, there are often healing and deliverance crusades, and many anointed pastors participate. When he saw me, he asked if I could pray for him. At that time, his headache was very severe. I prayed for him for five minutes and he was healed. He asked me a question, Why were so many anointed pastors praying for me without healing, but you prayed for me for a few minutes and I was healed, and it was even online.

I said this is not difficult to explain, because those anointed pastors left after praying. One characteristic of this matter falling into my hands is that if you are not healed, as long as you don't give up, I will not give up. Demons are very sad to meet people like me. Some brothers and sisters have given me a nickname: Ghost-Sorrow.

This sister was very touched after hearing this. So, next, I told her that your headache will come back. She was very frightened when she heard this. I said, Don't be afraid. Why? Because you have the authority that Jesus Christ has given you. You can use the authority that Jesus Christ has given you to resist, but if you can't resist, you can contact me online at any time.

Of course, at that time, there would be few people in the church, so I served them one by one. Later, she really told me that the headache had really returned. She remembered what I said at the time, and she prayed there, resisting the devil. After praying for more than an hour, the headache really got better. After that, she prayed for 10 minutes and it got better. Then it came again, and she prayed for 15 seconds and it got better. That was basically all better.

Today, don't have a misconception: Oh, this disease has not been eradicated! Where does the root come from? The root is a demon! The root is inherently a demon. Do you think the demon will let you go? The demon will not let you go, but you can definitely overcome the demon! This is actually an exercise of faith. Why would I do such a thing? Because Jesus Christ did such a thing, and all who sought Jesus were healed. So I began to pursue one thing. I thought, I also want to do what Jesus did, and whoever comes to me will be healed. If they are not healed, I will not give up.

Diseases Are Closely Related to the Spiritual Realm

Is being healed a spiritual matter? It is indeed a spiritual matter, because our God, our Jesus Christ is spiritual. Our God is a Spirit, and we must know one thing, that healing the sick and casting out demons are closely related to the spiritual realm. Understanding the spiritual realm is really a crucial matter. Many people do not understand the spiritual realm. What should be done?

Some people just play around with the words in the Bible, talking about Greek, Hebrew, and then talking about it in this way or that way, but in the end it is still just words. Can we turn the Word of God into the power of God? In fact, it can be turned into the power of God, because signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.

But everyone should know how to place their hands on the sick. When you place your hands, it does not say whether you place them for one second or one day. Later, I learned a lesson, which is to hold on tightly and not let go. Until now, I will tell everyone the truth, and they have all been healed. It is really a miraculous thing.

There is a sister who has followed me in believing in the Lord for many years. There is a history of heart disease in her family. That congenital heart disease made her fall to the ground in agony. Later, I prayed for her. The first time, I prayed for 5 hours and she was healed. Later, she came again, and I prayed for more than an hour and she was also healed. Later, she came again, and I prayed for three minutes and she was healed.

Isaiah 61:1, this verse is very good, because it is a key component of the Gospel. The Scripture is written like this:

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. (Isaiah 61:1)

Therefore, we must know that proclaiming freedom for the captives and release for the oppressed is a key component of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is to say, healing and deliverance is a key component of the church. If the devil can steal the church's power or the great power of the Gospel, he will succeed.
Today, our brothers and sisters must understand what you believe in. Do you really believe now that God is the God who heals us? If you believe, start desiring to be healed in Jesus today. Of course, when I am lecturing on this course, I will also encounter how to prepare the hearts of those who will be healed.

I think the main point today is to say that we, these people in Chinese Mingding Destiny who do healing and deliverance, we are of course training batch after batch, batch after batch. No matter how many people I have trained, there are actually not enough people in the process of doing healing and deliverance, and there is a great lack. There are too many people with problems. Even if there are another thousand or ten thousand people like me to serve this era, we would not be able to serve them all.
Today, we are holding a healing and deliverance seminar, hoping that our brothers and sisters will return to the Bible and remove the misconceptions about our faith. At least we must know that being healed is God's will, and this is God's work. Our Jesus Christ is so gracious and merciful! Can we desire to be like Jesus? What Jesus did, we must also do.

The Rewards of Healing and Deliverance Are Rich

I tell you, the rewards of doing healing and deliverance are very rich! Once, when I was casting out demons, the demon started talking. After listening, I realized that the demon had done a lot of bad things, such as causing so-and-so to have a car accident, which cost tens of thousands to repair; causing so-and-so to get cancer, and so on. I thought about it and decided that the demon must repay the stolen blessings many times over. I commanded the demon to repay, and the demon, defeated by me, obediently repaid.

Later, I found that many brothers and sisters' finances had undergone great changes because of healing and deliverance. The rewards of healing and deliverance are very rich. We think, being sick is very costly, sometimes even bankrupting the family is not enough! If our understanding of healing and deliverance is not clear enough, we will be greatly deceived.

Some pastors I know got cancer, which is regrettable. I understand some of their situation, and the words they speak are not what the Bible says. For example, if a member of their church gets cancer, the pastor goes to the hospital to see her and says, Sister, this is a blessing in disguise. This is God's grace to you!

Today, some of our pastors who have heard what I said can use the blood of Jesus to anoint themselves! Because this is not the word of God, how can being sick be a grace? Some pastors insist that being sick is a grace, but I dare not say that anyway. The Bible does not say that. No one brings a child to Jesus and Jesus says, Go slowly and be sick. There is no such thing! Being healed is God's will.

We must come out of these confusions. If you think being sick is a grace, would you want Jesus Christ to give you cancer? Being sick is very hard! Being sick is definitely not a grace. As Deuteronomy writes:

If you are not careful to observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, the LORD your God, then the LORD will bring on you and your offspring extraordinary afflictions, afflictions severe and lasting, and sicknesses grievous and enduring. And he will bring upon you again all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Every sickness also and every affliction that is not recorded in the book of this law, the LORD will bring upon you, until you are destroyed. (Deuteronomy 28:57-59)

We must know how awe-inspiring the word of God is! If we speak without the foundation of the Bible, it is very dangerous. People being healed is a key component of the entire gospel. You going out to preach the gospel and cast out demons is a key component of the entire gospel of Jesus Christ! So Paul said in 1 Corinthians:

My speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

How well said! Paul was an intellectual, and I am also an intellectual. I am a senior manager in a university. Can't I read? After reading the word of God, I act accordingly! We must rediscover the power of Jesus Christ! This power of resurrection from the dead comes upon you and me, and we will show forth the glory of God!

There are many such fallacies! For example, some people say, A man is blind, neither because of his father's sin nor his own sin. But you didn't read on. Jesus said, This is to show the glory of God. Later, the blind man continued to be blind. Can that show the glory of God? It is only after the blind man is healed that the glory of God can be shown, isn't it? We must remove the fallacies in our hearts one by one.

We Must Begin to Desire to Be Like Jesus

After saying so much, I hope everyone desires to be like Jesus! If you have heard what I have said, and the Bible is written very clearly in black and white, have you also read it? Do you also desire to be like Jesus? If you serve with my kind of ambition, you will become more and more like Jesus. If you become more and more like Jesus, you will become a blessing to many people. If you become a blessing to many people, isn't that God's will? If many people are healed because of you, isn't that a lot of grace?

Therefore, we must begin to desire to be like Jesus. In my pursuit of becoming like Jesus, I have experienced too many things! Once, I went to Taiwan to attend a Kingdom Culture conference, and they arranged everything very well for us. I stayed with two pastor couples, one of whom was the pastor of the sister among us who had headaches. When I was working, I found them very depressed because they couldn't sleep well and couldn't eat well.

I was very moved and told them, I will pray for you to get better. Do you believe it? The pastor's wife asked me to minister to her, and she relaxed after a while and ate two large sandwiches, and her condition recovered very well! Her husband thought: You are a pastor and I am also a pastor. Why should I believe you? However, his wife still brought him over, and I led him in prayer. God opened my eyes and let me see a fat, huge lizard. In the name of Jesus Christ, I commanded it to retreat! After I led him in prayer for a short while, his back completely relaxed.

This couple was quite interesting. They made appointments for several people in need to let me serve them. I also liked it very much. Every time I served and led people in prayer, I felt very good! Over the years, wherever I have gone, I have desired to be like Jesus Christ, going around, preaching the gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, releasing the oppressed, and setting the captives free!

Don't think that I only do this. I have written 50 books of Bible study materials. My books are piled up very high, and I will continue to write them. I value the word of God so much. I read the word of God and then act on it. I read the word of God and then believe it. I read the word of God and then sort it out, knowing how to grasp the basic concepts of healing and deliverance. This is a key component of the gospel, the most basic work of the church, and the basic concept of Jesus Christ training his disciples. Then I desire to be like Jesus Christ. How wonderful is that!

Healing the Sick and Casting Out Demons Is the Most Important Work of the Lord Jesus

How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel and bring good news! If you preach a gospel without power, you say, Come and believe in the Lord with me, take up the cross of Jesus Christ, and then live your life? Everyone's reaction is, I am already living a hard life. If you give me another cross, wouldn't I be even more tired? However, the gospel we preach is to follow Jesus, and there is extremely abundant grace and mercy in it. Jesus' burden is light! Therefore, the gospel we preach today is good news.

If a person is sick and cannot be healed, isn't that very sad? So today, it is a wonderful thing for the church to release the captives and the oppressed! Today, we must desire to be like Jesus, to sweep across the globe like a tornado. This era will raise up many people like Jesus Christ. Because what we do is what Jesus did, there is no need to worry about going the wrong way. Some people say don't go astray. Not doing it this way is going astray.

No matter what Christian denomination, being like Jesus is not a problem. Healing the sick and casting out demons is the most important work of the Lord Jesus in the world. So today we must know that believing is very important! Believe that you will be like Jesus. We are all the same. We are all about the same, but there may be a difference in one place, and that is the ambition to pursue being like Jesus Christ.

If we meet a person and see that he is terribly oppressed by demons, do you have compassion from God in your heart? If you have compassion from God, release him. There is a business fellowship, a group of Christian businessmen. We were eating breakfast together, and a brother in his 40s was sitting next to me. He was about to go blind. He said, My eyes will be blind in 1 year. There is a disease called retinal necrosis. I saw the desperate expression on this brother's face, and I felt very sad. I thought, what would Jesus do if he were in front of him?

He would definitely ask Jesus to heal him, but he was in a fellowship and no one could heal his illness. The doctor could not heal him either. I looked at him and opened my mouth to speak. I said, Whenever there is someone with an eye disease, I lead them in prayer and they all get better. At that time, I saw his entire eyes filled with hope, instantly igniting the hope in people's hearts. This is when people are in emptiness, chaos, and darkness on the face of the deep, you must begin to say let there be light and there will be light. There is light in it.

When Jesus Christ came into the world, Jesus shone like a bright light on that generation. Those who were desperate came to Jesus Christ and received hope! As a result, I led him in prayer. Before the prayer, his eyes saw things as if they were through a layer of plastic film. After the prayer, he said, I have never seen things so clearly. At that time, I thanked my God for giving me such an ambition to seek to be like Jesus.

I often ask myself, what would Jesus do if he stood in front of this person? Jesus would heal him. Jesus would never say that this disease is a grace given to you. Jesus never said that. Therefore, in my pursuit of wanting to be like Jesus, the healing of people's diseases is the wish of Jesus Christ. The Bible says that by the stripes of Jesus Christ we are healed, and the gospel of Jesus Christ includes healing.

Therefore, every time I talk about these things, I feel very moved in my heart. I hope that our brothers and sisters can desire to be like Jesus. There are very many people in this generation who need to be served. How many people are waiting in the darkness for hope from God? This is what Jesus did, and this is the basic work of the church. Know that God's love and God's mercy are revealed in this. Everyone should know that no father wants his children to get sick! I don't want them to. The corruption that disease brings to people far exceeds all human imagination.

Casting Out Demons Through the Spirit of God Is the Coming of the Kingdom of God

Later, I gradually realized that behind the disease is all spiritual darkness. If we cast out demons and heal and deliver through the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come. Everyone must have a clear view of the spiritual essence of disease. Some people ask me: With Jesus, what do we need hospitals for? Hospitals can't cure many diseases. My classmate was made worse by the hospital. He still had to spend money. Did he want to die? He thought of me. I led him in prayer, and after an hour, he came back lively and kicking. In comparison, that one is good, of course, my one is good, but the problem is that not everyone has such faith.

If the grace of Jesus Christ is so abundant, can our brothers and sisters be strengthened and constantly pass on the grace of Jesus Christ? Why is it called grace?
